Celeste De Palma: 5 stars all around for this fantastic spot!!! I can't say enough nice things about Deuxave. I told staff we were celebrating my husband's birthday, and they gave us a very intimate table that really made the evening all the more special. Everyone wished my husband happy birthday and pampered us with a complimentary appetizer, courtesy of the chef that went perfectly with the duck liver pattè we selected. We enjoyed every morsel and sipped our cocktails to the last drop.We had the Long Island duck breast, and it was the best duck we've had in town. Also, note that the portions are super generous - a nice surprise, given how good it was! I tried their flirty lychee fiz, and it was as fun as it sounds. The dishes were cleverly plated and made the experience so much fun, on top of everything being absolutely delicious.Thank you, thank you, thank you for being such gracious hosts!! We will be back.

Alex Maiella: Celebrated our 4 year anniversary at Deuxave and had one of the most wonderful dining experiences thanks in large part to our fantastic waiter, Wesley.Wesley was not only funny, and attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. His experience in the industry was incredibly apparent as he told us the history of the dishes we very much enjoyed and where each ingredient originated.As for the food, between the Lobster, Duck, and Tuna, there is no way that we could decide on our favorite. Similarly to our appetizers and entree choices, we took Wesley’s drink suggestion for our choice of wine with dinner, and then port to go with the fresh and creamy crème brûlée. We cannot believe that this restaurant does not have a several week waitlist. I am grateful to have found Deuxave though because we will definitely be returning with friends and family on Thursday or Friday to dine with Wesley again.

Kenneth Lutchen: Arrived from Boston University with a faculty candidate with a party of 6 for a 6PM reservation and was seated immediately. Most of rest of restaurant was empty. Asked if we wanted bread which we did, and they gave each guest 2 slices on a plate and we later found out there was a $3 per person for this. Took our dinner orders by 6:20 or so. Main dishes did not come out until....are you ready......8:20. One of our party had to leave before his main dish arrived. We kept asking when the main meals would arrived and got same answer each time...."a few minutes". This was a staple restaurant for me as a Dean at BU to take guests to, even throughout the pandemic. Now we will likely not return as there are so many other choices.

I’m sure you will have your own highlights given the huge range.Important to know is the wine pairing with the tasting menu is always a good bridge between the previous course and the current course - meaning you shouldn’t leave a sip in anticipation of the next course. Unfortunately, the food was very bland, overcooked or undercooked and both of us had the 7 meal course menu that we did not like or enjoy any of it even thought we selected 2 different dessert and 2 different foie gras dishes.The Staff was fast and friendly. The wine was the best I had in a long time. BUT the food was rubbery with no flavor or had a fusion that did not combine well . For an $800 meal for 2, this experience was highly disappointing. The ambiance and music were nice but we are Very disappointed in our experience at Menton as the food was a disaster. Even if the food we had was offered for free I would never go back and eat it.

The staff members were professional and friendly. My only low point was that I didn't really enjoy the foe gras dish too much. My friends felt the same. Otherwise it's a great experience. This is not my first time here, and it won't be the last! Thank you so much, Menton.FYI, I'm not a big fan of foe gras anyway. So, I am a little biased.

The food was decent but certainly not worth the money. Dinner for two was approximately a 3 hour event and cost nearly $1000 including drinks and tip. For this price point i would expect every dish to be spectacular.Overall the experience was enjoyable and pleasant but not the best value. Menton is a good one off experience but i will likely not return.

River Tam: Got on a wait list through Resy. When we got there, waitress tells us she has no idea what list we're talking about. She can't possibly seat us for an hour. We step outside because the place is tiny and we're in the way. One person goes back in to make sure we can get the table only to be told it's reserved, so we can't get a table in an hour, either. Both times, the waitress was rude to us apparently for having the audacity to not be familiar with the size or set up if the restaurant. We took an Uber to another restaurant and were just seated when Resy texted to let us know there was a cancelation and we could be seated. Absolutely not. Not with that attitude.

I ordered Fresh Maine Lobster Bisque and Chicken Coq Au Vin. The Lobster Bisque was great because it had many lobster bits inside. Not in many places can you find this kind of Lobster Bisque. My main dish was tasty too. The chicken was soft and the sauce made it extra delicious. They have frog legs and escargots. Maybe I will try them next time. I tried their Aperol Spritz and it was good. On the menu, you can find cocktails and French cocktails. I found that interesting. The service was good, your server was nice and friendly.
