Dvitag123 Taggers: Been staying for the last 11 yrs WILL NEVER RETURN. Room was dirty , service was awful. Anything that is painted was chipping
Mike Stugard: Breakfast wasnt horrible but happy we didn't have dinner... Room was not dusted in a bit, luke warm shower, elevator out like stated in a 12/2022 review, balcony was nice, TV mostly worked and the room fridge looked like it had been on a construction site... Elizabeth T: The hotel rooms need a serious upgrade:- I found 2 ants on my bed when I arrived (see video)- the ceiling paint is peeling- the vanity is way too small. No room for more than 2 toothbrushes and 1 very small makeup bag. No room for more- the bathtub is too wide and too high. Risk of falling- the tub floor is stained with accumulated filth- the 80's is screaming to get their beige toilet back! It's completely out of style.- the shower head is worn and some jets are projecting water all over- the room floors are still covered with old carpet. Updated hotels use combination of wood and tile- the view was awful- some windows clearly needed to be replaced- the hotel is quite ordinary. My traveling partner was stunned when I mentioned this hotel was rated 4-stars. He thought it was a 3-star hotel. The lobby is the prettiest thing in the hotel. It only goes down from there. The elevators are quite fast. We never waited long at all.Great service from staff. The neighborhood is incredibly noisy. Be ready to hear music and beats until 2-3 am.Nearby activities: The hotel is Centrally located. So there's tons to do and easy accessSafety: Very safe neighborhoodWalkability: Walkable to everywhere
Rohit Chimata: Amazing area of Boston to be in if you care at all about being central to things that are happening. Hotel is clean, rooms are very nice and the balcony views here you won’t get anywhere else. Not to mention front desk service was impeccable. All of my needs/questions handled with care and speed. Definitely my hotel of choice in Boston going forward.Rooms: Balcony views are impeccable. Rooms are standard as you’d find but very well thought out. Large bathrooms!Nearby activities: Boston market, Quincy market, Faneuil hall, aquarium and so so much moreSafety: Very safe hotel in a very safe part of Boston. The north end is known for being tourist central and this is exactly that.Walkability: You’re in the northend. Shops, good food, department store - all extremely close by walk. No Uber needed
Ashley Weithers: This is a great Hotel to stay. The front desk staff is very helpful. Room service is amazing. I will definitely come back. Loved the history of Boston and this hotel is close to everything you need to see. All museums, statues and visiting sites (historical) are with in walking distance. I’m super glad I picked here. See you soon Bostonian !Rooms: BalconyWalkability: Everything is within 1-10 minute walk. No need to drive and use car constantlyFood & drinks: AmazingThe restaurant has wonderful food
Thorsten Ruppert: Tolle Lage in Boston, schönes Zimmer.
José Ibarra: I recommend against doing business with this hotel. I tried to book a reservation and I received an error/declined message and no confirmation of booking. I made other plans, only to have them charge me $700 for a missed booking today. When I contacted them, Lina from Reservations was extremely hostile. She refused to do anything. This has caused me a big headache and I hope you can avoid the same.
Chloe Lee: I was using the bathroom some kid peeks under and starts saying "ewwwww you smell!" i didn't get into argument so i just told why. IT WAS THE TACO BELL! IM TELLING YOU IT IS THE BEEF TACO WITH TOMATO SAUCE. DON'T RECOMMEND!!!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Alexis Yohros: As a guest who recently stayed at the Bostonian Hotel, I must say that my experience was subpar, to say the least. The first issue we encountered was that the rooms had a very unpleasant, musty smell that was quite off-putting. Additionally, we found that the air conditioning unit in our room was not functioning correctly. When the unit did finally turn on, it was incredibly loud and disturbed our sleep.Another problem we encountered was with the size of the beds in our room. The beds were extremely small and could not comfortably accommodate two people, making for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. The walls of the room were also very thin and did very little to block out the sounds coming from the neighboring rooms. We were able to hear people having intercourse and using the bathroom, which was incredibly concerning and made for a very uncomfortable stay. The shower in the room was yet another source of frustration. It took an incredibly long time for the water to heat up, and once it did, there was not much pressure at all. Additionally, we found it unacceptable that the hotel charged extra for any amenities. The most disappointing aspect of our stay at the Bostonian was the lack of assistance provided by the front desk. We requested a different room but were refused and were not offered any type of refund when we decided to leave and stay at a different hotel. The lack of attention paid to our needs left us feeling undervalued and made for a very frustrating experience. In summary, while the location of the Bostonian Hotel was convenient, our stay was dampened by numerous unpleasant factors. The musty odor, loud air conditioning, uncomfortable beds, lack of privacy, poor shower condition, and lack of amenities, coupled with the subpar customer service, made our stay at the Bostonian not worth the price. I cannot recommend this hotel and would suggest finding alternative accommodation options in the area.

Miguel Londono: I have stayed at this property a handful of occasions and the quality and service have deteriorated recently. The rooms are tired, with chipped furnishings and stained carpets. Worse, however, is the service. The staff does not make you feel like a welcomed guest - they are not personable and even sometimes rude. This property is too expensive, and there are too many better options in Boston, to return.
Vidura Stich: This is the place to stay to enjoy the downtown experience in Boston. Close to public transit, and easy walking distance to numerous historic sites. The rooms are super modern and relaxing.I recommend staying here for a great visit. No car needed!
D K: The proximity to many attractions, restaurants, bars and cool spots, the rooftop😍 and the creative design made my vacation unforgettable. Thanks!P.S. This is👇

Dan Sawh: I would highly recommend staying the the Envoy! I stayed there in January and last summer. The hotel is modern yet warm. The location is in the amazing and upcoming Seaport neighborhood and with great views from the rooms and the Rooftop lounge! The restaurant is Michelin-level in my opinion with amazing food and drinks and great atmosphere. I must thank the manager, Michael Pittman, for his attentiveness to the needs of our large group. He is simply, top notch! I thank Michael and his entire team for two amazing stays.....looking to stay again when I am back in the Boston area.Rooms: The rooms are modern yet warm. Great views!Safety: The hotel and neighborhood is incredibly safeWalkability: Great location and so much to do around the areaFood & drinks: The restaurant is Michelin-level. Great food options including for vegetarians. Top-notch service! The drinks and food at the roof-top lounge is amazing!Noteworthy details: The service is top-notch. The manager, Michael Pittman, and his entire team are the best! This hotel is also pet-friendly,
Thomas Gofton: A bit posh in that it doesn't have all the amenities you'd expect in a hotel. Like a small drink or snack bar with all the essentials to grab and go at night.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Stephanie Porter: Interesting hotel - nice rooms, unique layout, medium service... but I was very sick from the room service food. Glad I didn't entirely finish it.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Lolita L: Great location and the view from the rooftop is great!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chris Rupprecht: Creative design, but maybe went to far to be quirky and now just looks dated, furnishings look and feel like cheap imitations (the place looks like a warfare showroom. The rooms are loud (you'll hear the neighbors, you'll hear the upstairs bar, you'll hear the street. Beds aren't great (mattresses make it feel like you're on a futon or pull out). "Full waterview" is the fort point channel and the barking crab....I'd prefer the city. For the price, if you want this location, stay at the Intercontinental.
Angela Laxson: Great unique hotel on the water. Easy to get around Boston from here. Love the rooms, beds were comfortable. The showers are AMAZING. Would definitely stay here again. I did stay here with children and felt like they were child friendly (my kids were 5 and up).Oh, also ate breakfast there twice and it was very very good with hearty portions.
Devin C.: The view was nice, but the room was much smaller than it looked in pictures (Partial Water View King). To make matters worse, the strange bicycle tv stand had a 2'x2' 3/8" thick steel plate underneath one side that I stubbed my toe on so hard I bled. I was limping a little for a day or so, and I won't be surprised if I lose a toenail. It's right at the narrow foot of the bed (in the only 1.5' of walking room at the end of the bed) and was painted to match the floor. Don't put heavy thick steel plates right where people will be walking!
Freeland Woodworks: My wife and I stay here a few times a year. It's our, home away from home. We have stayed at a lot of hotels in the area and Envoy is 100% the best hotel we have stayed at.This weekend was unbelievable thanks to Donia and Janelle for making it unforgettable and being so friendly and accommodating. We might even stay another night..

The Revolution Hotel: what do users think?
Adam Slote: Fantastic design touches throughout. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms, great co-working space, good location.
Julie: We got a premium king with the bathroom inside the room. The bathroom door is a rolling barn door that does not close all the way and you can hear everything. The bed is on a platform which makes it awkward to get out of if you are on the window side. The service was excellent but we will not stay there againRooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lee Payton: Great value hotel in good location for the marathon. I suggest they let guests know at check-in that there is a shared refrigerator and a shared microwave available for their use.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Marton Toth: Interesting boutique hotel with communal bathroom cabins but impeccable style and quality!Rooms: Luxury dorm style.Walkability: Close to everything downtownNoteworthy details: Co-working space in the lower level
Brian Ferdman: UPDATE: I've now stayed in both a "Premium King" as well as the cheaper rooms. Without a doubt, the cheaper rooms with the bathroom down the hall are the way to go. The bathrooms down the hall are plentiful (I never had a wait during any of my multiple stays here), spacious, and cleaned regularly.) On the other hand, the bathroom in the Premium King is kind of chintzy with a mere shower curtain seperating toilet and showet (although I think the shower is taller than that of the shared bathrooms), and the bathroom actually cuts into the room design with the sink taking up the space where you would have a desk in the cheaper rooms. You actually feel like you have less space in a Premium King.I stayed in one of the cheaper rooms with a bathroom down the hall. Typically, this setup is less than ideal, but The Revolution's rooms have a tote bag with towels, soaps, body wash, shampoo, etc., as well as very helpful bathroom slippers...although they were a little small for my size 11 feet. Nevertheless, there were two separate clusters of six bathrooms on my floor, each with a toilet, sink, and quality shower. There was ample room to get changed, and it was easily the best experience I've had in a hotel with a bathroom down the hall. The room itself was very modern and small yet smartly designed and quite comfortable with fast, free Wi-Fi and a small desk. The rooms had a little light that I believe would let you know if the bathrooms were occupied, although mine stayed lit the entire time. The South End location is very nice, and if you're looking for an affordable room that you won't be spending too much time in, this hotel is an ideal choice for you.
Oleg Rudakov: Very nice!!!
Justin Shaw: I stayed here for a few days on a winter staycation last year. Loved it. It was such a unique experience for me as I was new to the micro-hotel thing. But I get it now. The rooms are tight, but it is more than enough for 1 person. (A bit small for two, I think). But you can get a bathroom in your room or not. Either would be just fine. The decor of this hotel is super interesting to look at. It's modern and funky and classy at the same time. And there is the great big workspace/kitchen on the lower level that is just a dream to hang out in. The location is really nice, tucked in the South End...but is a little bit of a walk from Back Bay station. Hard if you have luggage or if the weather sucks. It's really awesome to have the lovely Cosmica restaurant downstairs.Rooms: Small, efficient, modern, high tech, luxurious
Gerard Ureña: Hotel muy aconsejable. Habitaciones muy bien equipadas, colchones muy cómodos. Baños compartidos individuales muy limpios y bien cuidados. Hall amplio y bonito. Personal amable y atento. Muy bien situado. Repetiría sin dudarlo.
H K: The room was miserable. It felt like a storage room with dusty pipes running around the stained walls. The ceiling was chipping. Apart from the immediate use surfaces, everything else was cover with dust, lint, and grime accumulated for years (the floor corners, the pipes, the window screens, etc). It was very poorly equipped which made the stay in this tiny room for 2 people even more difficult. The heat was supposed to come from the AC but most of the time only cool air was coming out. The AC unit was clogged with dust and lint, obviously never cleaned, and without proper maintenance. We stayed mid-January but there was no comforter provided and when we asked for one, they brought us a twin-size one for 2 people! We expressed our disappointment on our checkout and got a $50 refund but overall, the room was of the quality of a cheap dirty motel one at the price of a proper hotel.
Evan Wawrykow: For the price, it can’t be beat. Yeah, the bathrooms are separate, but they’re clean and spacious. The rooms are small, but everything you need. Great location and friendly staff. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
lena webster: Rooms cute & cozy...Great walking distance to all attractions and shopping area.Heat very good !! Pet friendly .place really clean & quiet. The bed was most comfortableRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Selina Diaz: Staff in the front desk were awesome!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Braeden Diehl: Very comfortable room with very clean bathrooms. The room is cozy but filled with so many ingenious and quirky space-savers. The bathroom tote bag filled with slippers, towels and soaps is a smart touch. The front desk staff is very friendly and go out of their way to explain all the hotel amenities. For less than $150 per night in an expensive city, it's a no-brainer to stay here in Boston. They have a coffeeshop with a cozy hangout space, a fitness room, and a restaurant.
Lauren “Teerdrop” Teer: Let's be clear, the revolution "hotel" is more of an upgraded hostel experience. If you book your stay with those expectations, you should find it more than accommodating. Super cozy beds, responsive staff (with texting capabilities at that), and the shared bathrooms were nicer than other hotels I've stayed in and very private. On occasion the bathrooms closest to our room were all in use, but I didn't have any issues finding an open restroom just a short walk down the hall. So long as you remember to lock your bathroom door, as you should, you won't have any issues. Toiletries and shower slippers provided. I especially liked the shampoo and face bar. Cleaning crew was seen multiple times throughout the day.We stayed in both the triple and quad rooms on different nights and both met our needs well.
M. K.: The room was really noisy. People next door did not sleep at night, which kept us awake. The room was across the bathrooms which we had to share. If you were lucky enough you could go on the toilet in the morning and shower. Otherwise you had to wait. The distance was okay, but kind of far from everything. Parking was really expensive and hard to find near the hotel without walking distance. The windows do not have a good isolation meaning the cold got into the room. People sleeping next to the window were freezing. Overall it was an average place to stay in Boston. Don't expect more.

The Boxer Boston: what do users think?
Luka Vujeva: In general, this is an ok hotel, but nothing special. The room size was ok; however very loud and prone to outside noise. I was in a 701 room and felt that room had some permanent ambient noise. For example, you constantly hear an air conditioner, and the minibar refrigerator is very loud when someone is using the elevator. We generally slept very badly in this room, comparing how we have slept in another hotel in NYC a week before. The bed is huge, however, a bit soft, and the pillows are just an absolute nightmare.Cleanness was on point. The location is pretty decent, it's in walking proximity to Beacon Hill and downtown. It's noteworthy that there is some mental institution across the street or some institute for mental health with a larger parking space. Walking there is not feel safe as you will see homeless people and junkies lurking around that parking space, doing drugs etc. But if you take another street, its again super safe. The personnel was ok, but just that. Breakfast was fantastic! However, one person can not serve breakfast for all the guests. The lady was overworked and stressed.Rooms: Spacious, clean, loud and with poor pillows.Safety: Be aware of junkies and homeless just across the street lurking around mental institution parking.Walkability: Very solid location and easy to get into downtown or Beacon Hill.Food & drinks: Drinks were ok, breakfast was absolutely fantastic !!
Steven Couture: What a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful from the very beginning as we changed our plans and had to change the day of our booking - no problem. The staff was very helpful during our stay. The food was excellent in the restaurant and parking was a breeze. We chose The Boxer due to the proximity of the Museum of Science and the Aquarium - very convenient! Met a wonderful server in the restaurant, Liliana. Very professional and genuinely cared about our satisfaction. Highly recommend and we will see you again soon!
Carlos Vaz: Nearby activities: Next to TD GARDENRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Jeff G: Mediocre at best. Resort fee is a joke. Nothing special about the rooms, amenities or location.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Manuel Malle: The hotel is fine if pricey for what it is. Great location. The problem is their parking set up. There’s no Valet. There is room for only one car to park for check in. I had to double park as another car was already there and promptly received a $55 ticket (was there for no more than 5 min). Next you have to drive the car to a parking garage 1/2 mile away. The garage is under construction, grungy and packed. Next you trudge back to the hotel down an alley with a homeless shelter and in my case pounding rain. All this for a $40 parking fee. So if you are traveling by car avoid this hotel; if not have at it.
Sidney Fernández de Castro Tudela: so beautiful and luxurious and service is top tier.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, Great value …More
Nico Samneil Salado: Dont have a parking garage within the hotel. They have a partner garage with the goverbment and is a walkable distance from the hotel. The receptionist will guide you if you want to avail one. It is a $40 overnight fee. The bathroom is stylish and wide in our room. We availed our room theu supertravel and i could say it is worth it since it is also a walkable distance from the TD garden.
JP Creedon: We were trying to stay near TD for a show, and ultimately Boxer did it's job but not without complication. There isn't parking (they suggest a parking garage a few blocks down but there is construction ), the room was fine but quite small and the single elevator made for issue.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Tyler Conrado: Not sure what many of these reviews are talking about. Stayed here for a few nights and it was fantastic for the price. Big cozy bed, comfortable air control, a nice bar and restaurant attached, and they validate parking at a parking garage near by.Right next to garden too!
C UNOIT: Loved our stay here, was a real cold nite and we got there a bit early but the lady at the dest got us in the room anyways so thank you for your kindness on a extremely cold nite..The room was small but had everything we needed,clean..The boxer was close to everything walking, food, drinks, snacks and td garden was a 5 minute walk ..
James Feng: Swanky hotel, friendly staff, clean. Room is on the smaller size, but works great for those just needing a nice room while exploring Boston or going on business trips
Lauren Bruss: We had a lovely experience. The hotel was clean and appreciated the modern boutique look and feel. Heather at the front desk as so kind and attentive to everything we needed. Looking forward to our next stay!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jón Ferrier: Centrally located. Excellent beds. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
igal Feuerstein: I stayed at the boxer for one night. The room was very clean, not too small, not too big. Just perfect for a business night. The stuff at the reception were super nice and helpful! The Wi-Fi connection was super fast, which is an important benefit for business travelers. The location is close to lots of food choices and bars.I definitely will book the boxer hotel on my next Boston trip.
Allison Lessard: When we arrived the woman at the front desk was professionnal and lovely. The room was great but there was noise in the corridor, early in the morning, it woke me up.Also when we arrived we were told we'd have 40$ discount at the SP+ parking, they gave us a coupon. When we left, the coupon didn't work and we had to pay 96$ US. Try to explain the situation to them, they told us they couldn't do nothing about that. That's kind of a bummer for me.
Time and Illusion: First time I have stayed and last, the front desk staff was rude, the rooms are mediocre at best. Honestly it is giving off tourist trap vibes because the only way I justified the price of a cramped and out dated room was the location on the hotel. There was a weird humming vibration from the room above me and the beds are hard. You can get the same deals with better rooms and amenities somewhere else.
David Gallant: Nice, clean and updated, Great for a short stay!!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Graham Hawthorne: Mediocre Hotel. Tiny rooms, windows don't open, mechanical ventilation only works if you use heating or cooling, no perceivable ventilation in bathroom - all of which adds up to the room getting pretty stuffy and smelly if you don't want to use climate control. There was a very loud low frequency hum that occurred intermittently - bad enough to prohibit sleep. I think it might have been the fridge or ventilation in the next room over - sign of a cheapo renovation / thin walls / lack of proper insulation. Also - one tiny elevator for an 8 story hotel, which the staff uses much of the time. Laborious when you're coming and going.

YOTEL Boston: what do users think?
Candace Worth: The staff is very helpful and the rooms were nice.
Houman Dehesh: Tiniest rooms, out of Blade Runner gone wrong, worst worst sound proofing ever. Rooms so small the bed retracts electrically into the wall
Ankita Thomas: A tiny bit well equipped room, friendly and helpful staff, a beautiful view and a great neighborhood!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Great value, High-tech …More
Felipe Vellozo: Great value for money. Location and cleanliness are the highlights. The neighborhood has lots of places to eat and drink. Great outdoors to walk around and just beside T station. The room is very small (sliding full size bed) and the only point I consider a flaw is no privacy at all to use the toilette (a glass door only).
William Mitrus: Very clean with a great roof top bar and one downstairs as well. Location was prime!Room was clean with funky led lighting and a bunk bed style configuration. The mattress was way to soft for me. Wound up sleeping on floor.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More

SADIQ AL-HAJJI: Nothing negative to highlight about my stay during Boston Marathon weekend. The prices were very high but so every hotel at that weekend.RoomAs mentioned in previous reviews, the rooms are very small but that didn’t bother me.LocationPerfect location close to local restaurants and walkable to downtown Boston.NoiseI stayed to a room with street view and it was noisy during late night until early morning during the weekend.BreakfastThe breakfast was good and you order from the menu.Rooftop BarDowntown Boston skyline view from the roof is amazing
Luca Bartolini: Interesting concept, with good value for the money. The tiny room is well organized but could use a couple of tweaks: the smart TV should be made airplay ready or should have native apps installed for streaming; the mini fridge is really a minuscule fridge and should be upgraded to a bigger model (which could still easily fit in the room); the folding chair should be upgraded and have a cushion; the ambiance lighting should have a bright light option. The gym is small and can fit only 1 bench and a few cardio machines. Overall feels more like a 3 star hotel but the location is good and staff is friendly. Recommended for solo travelers or a young couple.
Olivia Begasse de Dhaem: Room is small but it works. We had a room with a bunked bed for our child. The colorful lighting in the room is fun. $ 55 valet parking/day which you can call in advance for your car to be there. Very friendly staff. They helped us store some of our toddler’s milk in the kitchen and let us borrow a mini fridge that can keep 2 milk bottles in our room. Traders joe and cvs are right by the hotel too. Clean. Quiet. Wonderful location!! Walking distance to great restaurants, museums, playgrounds, harbor walk. The window in the room opened.
Aaron Proulx: Great location. Small room but fine. Modern style.Walkability: Close to a lot of entertainmentRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights High-tech …More
Jack Reynolds: This is a hotel designed by people that have never stayed in a hotel before. Stayed in a regular Queen room. The air conditioning is extremely loud, and sits 24 inches away from your head. It is touching the bed, and I could feel the vibrations. No door to the bathroom, just a curtain. Lighting is all on or all off in the bathroom, no in between. Window does not fully seal, so all the outside noise from the busy street pours right in. No towel racks near the shower. In fact, no cabinets, drawers, or countertop space at all. Not even enough space on the side of the bed for a water bottle. Wifi was decent, but with no desk or chair of any kind, it’s hard to work. Bunk beds in a hotel don’t feel luxurious, it just lets you hit your head a lot. The bed folded up, and was thin and hard, reminded me of a hospital bed. Folding it up is the only way to easily walk around the room. No fridge, no microwave. The staff was good, location is great, but I’d definitely look elsewhere if you want a more comfortable experience.
Sierra Lemieux: We booked this hotel last minute and everything was fantastic. Great customer service, very clean rooms, valet parking was great. Location was so close to everything.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Chatina Arce: This place was the worst, from the start they made us wait an hr. Upon arrival to check in when we booked it an hr. In advance online. She was being rude and very difficult. Will never return!Service: 1/5 …More
James Nesbit: The shower had very low pressure and never actually got very warm. It was Luke warm at best. The shower also leaked water all over the bathroom floor, which take sup about half the room. Good location though, easy checking in and out, right next to the sliver line, the harbor and downtown. You can walk from yotel to downtown in fifteen minutes.Rooms: It’s small.Walkability: Very walkable!
Barry Grau: This is a concept hotel, and the concept didn't work for me.I guess the Yo in Yotel is for Tokyo and the concept is that this is like a Tokyo company-man's sleeping room near work. The room was about the size of a walk-in closet; not even big enough to accommodate a bed and space to move around. The bed had a motor and rolled up into the wall. Even so there was no space to stow luggage and no desk or table at which to work. The only seating besides the rollaway bed was a small folding chair, but without any usable surface space, the chair was next to useless. I used it to put on and tie my shoes because it was lower than the bed, but I couldn't see any other use for it.In the past when I've had a small or unacceptable room I could always say, "That's ok, I'm just going to be there to sleep anyway." Hotel Yotel proves that that isn't always true. Give Hotel Yotel a pass.Rooms: Room was the size of a walk-in closetNearby activities: Close to everything on the seaportWalkability: Close to everything on the seaportNoteworthy details: High-tech, tiny, failed concept hotel
pjs: Good hotel for the price. Close to the convention center and food. Bed feels smaller than expected and not a fan of the showers. Took forever to get hot water as well.
JPh.
Alyssa Quartarone: Such a cute place!!! The rooms are perfect for couples! I stayed here with my boyfriend because we saw the Bruins game on a Saturday night and it’s about a 18 min walk from the TD Garden, not bad at all! The rooms were very new and updated I was impressed from how modern it looked. Bed was comfy and the room had ambiance lighting that you could change the colors! Would totally recommend especially if you are looking for something romantic as a couple!

InterContinental Boston, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Sheila Long: Shower was cold at 6am. We used the fridge and moved an item so we got charged. Lucky I checked out so I got it deleted. Mini bars are so 1990’s - this is a dated facility.Rooms: Room was huge - had a desk and office. We didn’t use it.
Bailey Rider: Priceline says this is a 5 star hotel. Uhm..wow, is that true? Hard, uncomfortable beds.. terrible pillows.. lights only worked half the time in the bathroom… outdated.. noise problems all night. The internet is incredibly slow. The location is amazing, that's about it. Pretty bummed that we decided to splurge on this hotel, it honestly was a waste of money.4/12/23 Edit- Laura thank you for replying to this review. I have reached out to you the through the email you supplied me. The booking was under my husbands name which I will gladly provide you.4/20/23 I called the Director of Sales back after I missed her call and was transferred and put on hold immediately. I never got in contact with them. They said they wanted to make it right, but they never did.
Liz Lobo: Such a great hotel! Not too far from everything, including the South Station for catching the subway or bus. Great service and beautiful rooms.
Peter DeWitt: Intercontinental has the poorest reservation experience I have ever had. Long hold times only to be transferred and wind back again at the same place. I gave a number for someone to text me back - and nobody did. If my experience with reservations is any indication I would think twice about staying here.

HI Boston Hostel: what do users think?
Luke Franco: great place, clean friendly and central, get more than what you pay for!Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Avery Miller: I’ve stayed here twice now, both with friends, and this is my go-to spot. Cheapest option in Boston and in the funnest location possible with everything just a couple steps away. Floor 2 is a great hangout spot with a pool table, study nooks, and a kitchen with cereal and bagels + a larger dining room area with an amazing view of the blocks in front of the hostel. Friendliest staff EVER. They are super accommodating and worked with me and my friends changing flight schedules over the phone and e-mail. The staff love to chat and converse about where you’re from and your plans. Bathrooms are always extremely clean it feels like showering at home. The crowd for this hostel is mostly college age and sometimes older. All the hostelers have great etiquette as well. The friends I took here for the first time absolutely loved it and I 100% recommend choosing this place for a group over a hotel! It’s the best place to stay if you want to focus on the city and just have a place to rest at night. Will always recommend this spot over any other hotel.Cons:Walls are thin and you can hear conversations in other rooms thru the walls and vents but it’s fine with ear buds.Rooms: Great dorm style rooms. Extremely clean and organized. Convenient locker spaces and extra storage + an outlet at the head of your bed. The separations between bunks makes for great privacy from other hostelers, it didn’t even feel like I was sleeping with 2 strangers across the room.Nearby activities: There’s 4 clubs right less than a 4 minute walk away if you’re into nightlife. It’s right next to Chinatown so there’s a million cheap food options and it’s 2 blocks away from the Boston Commons + the T so it’s super easy to explore and get a feel for the city. Very accessible !!Walkability: Extremely walkable. The only thing separating you from the city is the front door. Everything is seconds away.
Jonathon Addington: Fantastic service, great rooms and fantastic value!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bart Bial: SuperRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Felix Riether: VERY good location close to subways and train station. Room (had a private room) are spacious. As you would expect from a hostel there’s no room service or housekeeping during the stay. Pretty clean as well. Minus one star for still being pricey but adequate compared to a full service hotel.
Can AYAZ: We came for Boston Marathon and normally we did enjoyed everything. however i lost my heart rate monitor in kitchen when I realized is gone I checked in kitchen it wasn’t there so I did inform reception, if they should look camera record they might actually find it but they didn’t… I buyed new one 100 USD, After we checked out in hostel we have a Amazon delivery. so we came for our cargo for take it. There is old guy with white hair he is behaving did to us too rude, he didn’t listen to us, we were hurry we need to catch our flight we just try to explain but he never listen to us…
Jennifer Scott: I stayed here for Boston Marathon weekend and had a fantastic experience. I was in a 6 bed dorm with 5 other women (3 from out of the country, 2 from the States) who all happened to be running the marathon too. Everyone was very respectful of one another and all the guests in general seemed to do well with adhering to the quiet hours. I also felt very safe. The dorm room itself was clean and organized. The lockers within the room were very large and had plenty of space to store a suitcase, purse, large backpack, with extra room to spare. I really liked the fact there were individual bathrooms and large a dining area where guests could store and cook food. Location was amazing and a half mile or less to the Common. One mile to the convention center for the expo and other marathon events. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.
Cindy Herrera: This is a long overdue review but I am so grateful to the staff at this hostel! I left my AirPods on my bed and they sent them back to me via UPS. It was also a great experience in general.A nice, affordable option to visit Boston.
Kelli Dougal: Location is awesome--very close to T station. The facility itself was pretty nice as well. I'm taking off a couple stars for 2 reasons, though. 1) Unhelpful, unfriendly staff. The staff came off as very cold and unfriendly every time I interacted with them. This is not only the front desk staff but also the kitchen breakfast staff. When I checked in, they were unenthusiastic to help me and the few times I brought questions to the front desk staff they also appeared uninterested in providing helpful responses. 2) Issues with storing belongings in lockers. On the day I checked out, I asked about luggage storage for a few hours before my flight. They told me there were self-serve lockers in the back for $3. I paid for a locker, locked it, took my receipt and left. When I came back later I was surprised to find that my locker was wide open! Luckily, I had not left behind anything of much value, but I was still pretty shocked and unimpressed. If I'm going to pay for a locker I would hope it would at least stay locked. So, although the facilities and location were fine, overall I was less than impressed.
Art Blackburn: It's just OK. The lighting is dim and the hallways are kind of eerie. Most rooms are quads, for 6 or 8. Rooms are very "hard" looking with little fabric to soften the look. I find the guests to be on the snotty side when they really have no reason to be. Management/check in is cold and stand offish. Breakfasts are mostly carbs. It's an OK but nothing exciting. In an expensive city like Boston, you get what you pay for.
Josiah Devine Johnson: Great lobby area and solid kitchen and community space.Walkability: Near enough to the red-line which is an easy route to Harvard.Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Romantic, Quiet …More
Nat Smith: Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in!

Hilton Boston Downtown/Faneuil Hall: what do users think?
Laura Johnson: I must especially call out Hansel and Tristan for providing some fabulous customer service when I was needing some help and Rodriguez for the best welcoming smile! Including here the stunning Boston sunrise seen from the 14th floor!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
S C: Location is good, service is baaaadddd…… front desk employees have attitude , not willing to help and they have issues with connecting to their Wi-Fi which is the most simple thing for every hotel !!!Housekeeping manager Harpreet was very professional and helpful but still the experience I had with front desk agents was not good or acceptable!!Breakfast was expensive, server lady in the breakfast area was full of attitude too and could not serve the simple condiments for breakfast! The potatoes were burnt and they still served me😡😡
Brenda Ford: A friendly staff greets you upon entering this impressive hotel. The valet is very attentive and helpful in providing directions to the nearby attractions and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and a modern chic decor. I looked forward to mornings in the coffee cafe just to get one of the many beautiful and delicious pastries and a chai latte. This will be a definite return spot on future trips.
Bryce Baker: Fantastic staff is let down by the poorly conceived and badly maintained rooms. The wall heater/ac unit vibrated, rattled, and was too loud to leave on at night, even wearing foam ear plugs. The "ergonomic work area" was a narrow side table, too high to be a desk, and paired with a low, non-adjustable chair; I'm more than six feet tall and could not work at it for more than 15 minutes. The desk lamp was the only light in the room (outside of the bathroom) that worked.
Sarah Bartol: Room was beautiful and clean, decorated well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They do have luggage storage, which was awesome. Close to the harbour.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Zach Munro: You can pay $500 a night for a room and they will treat you like garbage. It’s a glorified motel. They will not bring anything to your room. There wasn’t even soap when I checked into my room. Worst hotel service I’ve ever heard of.
Robert Reyes: The hotel was great, but the valet was the worst. Valet attendant was found in my car and lied about me speaking to him about my car.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Jayee: As a loyal Hilton member, I probably will NOT be staying here again. The valet guy had a complete attitude when I informed him that I misplaced my ticket to receive my car. It took housekeeping forever to bring more soap to the room since there was none provided in the shower as Hilton normally has. Room service keep knocking on my door at 2.5 hours before check out and I had to keep informing there of my departure time. It almost seemed like harassment. The handle in the shower was broken so I couldn’t move the shower head and they informed me that my room was newly renovated….However the location of the hotel is great!
Ben Penning: All staff went above and beyond with friendliness. Always greeting you with a smile. Getting you any information or assistance you need.Nearby activities: Close to Freedom Trail, aquarium and many restaurants.Walkability: Walking distance to everything we needed. Subway entrance was less than 5 minutes away.
Phil Wood: Beautiful room. 2 very nice restaurants in the same building. Other very good restaurants very near by. Easy walk to transit and other sites to see
Lucy: Clean and comfy bed. However light in Bathroom is weird and randomly turned on several times in middle of night. Super annoying when in middle of sleep. Also housekeeping knocked on our door at 8 am and 10 am when we were still in there. Never had that happen before at other hotels. 8 am seems excessive since check out is at noon. Another thing is I went to find the gym and I followed The signs. climbed the stairs all the way to the third-floor from the lobby. Then the door wouldn’t open and had to climb back downstairs.
Jamie: We are from NJ and just returned. I wasn't expecting to have such great customer service. All the staff were amazing! Also, people have complained about rooms being hot, we never had that issue at all!. We stayed in a king suite, and wow it was huge! Our daughter slept in suite area on pull out, and we had the king in a separate room with a door. The actual bedroom was huge too! Amazing view on 15th floor, we had about 6 windows! Fin Point restaurant there is awesome! Great food , modern decor, and not too loud or crowded . Pizzas were excellent! Awesome location with great walking distance to just about eveything! Dunkin donuts and Kane Donuts right there around the corner. The Tradesman in the hotel looked great too! No issues with complimentary water, and valet for them to park your car was fast, efficient, and around $57 a day. They had clean beautiful gym, and really cute lounge area in the hotel . For the price it was worth it! Also, amazing with food allergies . Thank you! We will come back!Read less
Joy Schaefer: Stayed for a quick weekend visit in April. Loved that there wasn't much foot or car traffic, which made for a quiet, restful stay, but super close to so many sights, food, and some shopping.Rooms: Beautiful, clean, and seemingly newly renovated. We could have used more outlets in the room, but that was our sole complaint!Walkability: Within minutes walking distance to many Freedom Trail sites, as well as the New England Aquarium and wharf.Food & drinks: Plenty of neighborhood restaurants, bars, as well as the food stalls at nearby Quincy Market. The hotel restaurant and the cafe are stellar - great food, service at a very good value.
Brandon Lucchese: Very very good service all around
Mark Beck: Very busy hotel. Good staff and room was nice. Sirens are loud at night but it is in the city. Both restaurants are 5/5
Eunice Heo: Stayed a night and we needed a corkscrew. Called twice in a matter of an hour with this one guy for guest services who kept telling us that he'd check for a corkscrew and never got back to us. Third time we called they told us to come down and there was a line of people waiting but Aldo checked the front and even went into the restaurant when it was closed to get us a corkscrew. We really appreciated it! Thank you Aldo! Amazing service from him.
