State Room: A Longwood Venue: what do users think?
Javier Rosa: What an amazing venue and such an amazing event. Great memories and a great experience!
Christopher Connor (26 North Studios): As a wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at The State Room Boston and I must say, it is a spectacular space. From the moment you walk in, the breathtaking views of the city and the elegant decor set the tone for a truly magical day.The venue's spacious floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows provide ample opportunities for stunning photo ops. The natural light that floods the room is just perfect for capturing those intimate moments between the bride and groom, and the high ceilings allow me to get creative with my angles and shots. The staff at The State Room Boston is exceptional and always goes above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They are always on hand to answer any questions or concerns, and their attention to detail is unmatched. This level of professionalism and customer service truly sets the venue apart and makes my job as a wedding photographer much easier. And let's not forget about the food! The catering team at The State Room Boston consistently serves up delicious meals that are both beautiful and tasty. This, combined with the venue's excellent service and elegant atmosphere, makes it easy to understand why it’s one of Boston’s most sought after venues.
Ashley Makredes: We had our wedding at the State Room in Boston and it was everything I dreamed of AND MORE! Everything from the venue, to the food, to the employees, and everything in between was perfect. Our initial meetings were with Alicia. She helped us pick what was best for us and what we truly wanted. We were then assigned our event specialist, Jenna Scali, who was also amazing! Both girls answered any emails I sent almost immediately and were always so helpful. The night of the wedding, everything ran so smooth. The staff who met us outside to bring us in and all throughout the night who were close by, were just so helpful and kind. I am so glad we chose this venue and would again in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone who made our wedding a dream!
Bill Ferraro: Amazing event venue. Best view in the city! We brought virtual reality there for an event want a great backdrop for VR
Sachin Gupta: The views are everything
Maddie Maddern: I literally had dreams about getting married here one day, and I got to do just that on August 13, 2022. This is the most stunning wedding venue in the entire city, nobody can convince me otherwise. It looks gorgeous in photos, but you literally can't imagine how breathtaking it is in person. If the views aren't enough, their events team is next level (particularly Amber). Now bear with me through this part, because there's a reason we're still giving State Room 5 stars (spoiler alert, it's our amazing wedding goddess Amber). We had a bit of a rocky start after we signed the contract (nothing to do with Amber). We signed the contract in May and then backed off for a bit since our wedding was over a year away. Around October, we were speaking with our florist, and he asked if we knew Carolyn (our former wedding specialist) had left. We didn't and nobody from the venue ever reached out to let us know. I immediately emailed both our contacts there and both people whose emails I had were disconnected and had no email forwarding set up or any message directing me to another contact. I called the venue 3 or 4 times before finally speaking with someone and they let me know both people had left and they'd let me know when we had someone new. I was now trying to plan a wedding (at a not-so-inexpensive venue) with no wedding coordinator.Cue Amber! A literal angel who just made every wedding dream come true. This really should be a 4-star review, but Amber is so insanely amazing that she leaves me no choice but to make this 5 stars because anything less wouldn't be a fair testament to her. I am the most Type A a person can be and Amber answered every email, call, and panicked carrier pigeon I sent her way. She went above and beyond when we had issues with other vendors or needed last-minute changes that probably weren't even on her to help with.100% would recommend booking the State Room for your wedding (even despite the challenges) because the staff really is in another league.Thank you for everything, Amber!!
Essentially Erynne: This venue is just absolute perfection & our coordinator Amber was a dream come true. She went above & beyond to make our day amazing; when things weren’t done to her standards or what she thinks I would want, she worked quickly to fix them, never needing to let me know there was even an issue to begin with so I could just focus on the day. Our food was AMAZING, the bar staff was fantastic, & the space was to die for. We will never be able to thank Amber or State Room/Longwood Venues for helping to make our day so memorable!
Kaye Homam: The venue is beautiful and the service is fantastic. Parking is decently priced and the 2 floor venue works really well. The views are absolutely gorgeous. Day and night. The food was a little bland, but I am told that was because of the planner's food options.
Molly Hurkett: I don't even know where to start! EVERYTHING about the State Room was absolutely perfect. Everyone there was outstanding to work with but I have to give Jenna a shout out. She made everything SO easy and so fun. She was so attentive and responsive from the start and made planning our wedding a breeze. Look no further and book the State Room for the most stress-free, most beautiful wedding in Boston!
Samantha Riley: We knew the State Room had to be our wedding venue the moment we walked in. It has breathtaking views, it is modernly designed, and truly a beautiful space. Additionally, once we started contracting with them, they made it all so easy! They even helped us source special Prosecco for our event. They were also extremely accommodating when we decided to postpone from February 2021 to 2022. We had Amber assisting us leading up to the event and throughout our wedding day. She was responsive, helpful, and truly an expert in her field. We were in great hands with Amber on our special day and everything went off without a hitch! We are so grateful to the State Room and their staff for making our wedding day perfect.
M P: Love this place. Ppl are so friendly and just a genuinely nice here.
Nicole Chan: I LOVE the Boston State Room as a Boston wedding venue.I'm writing this review from a different angle. I didn't get married here, but I'm been here over 50 times for weddings. I'm a Boston wedding photographer, and I have the insider view on what weddings are like. The team here is top notch. They are professional, kind, and courteous. You won't go wrong with a wedding here. :)The coolest thing about it are of course, those panoramic views from up high while still being able to be in downtown city life! It’s remarkable what they offer here- so much detail and care has been put into this space that you can really see how much thought went into creating such an incredible place for your big day or special event.
Micah Pak: A great place for a wedding with a bird's eye view of the beautiful city. The reception food was the best I have ever tasted.
Jonathan Spencer: I was here for a private event and was not involved in the planning. Food and service were most impressive. The place itself is quite stark, with heavy black window frames and gray walls, with no ornamentation. The view is extensive and fantastic.
Osaro Igbinedion: Great services.
William Barabino: Nice event for National Braille Press.
jim connors: Wow,this venue was a terrific experience. The views of the harbor, fanuiel hall, were awesome. The modern facility, the food, and staff were exceptional.a great experience for all.
Maria Bribeaux: It's awesome venue...terrific views of Boston harbor. It was a beautiful family wedding❤️.
John Taglieri: Amazing venue. Some of the best views in Boston, great staff, great food, and just a wonderful experience being there.
David Pinto: Gorgeous views of the city and great food.

STARS of Boston - Short Term Apartment Rental Solutions: what do users think?
Nancy Brown: We loved the apartment. It had every possible amenity needed, and the STAR staff was very helpful. The unit is located in a beautiful and safe area. However, parking is not included and that is a hassle because there is no street parking overnight, a car must be moved every 2 hours during the day and rental parking spaces are typically a 7-10 minute walk away. Perfect for people without cars and willing to walk 7-10 minutes to public transportation.
Christian Bose: Efficient and accurate communication from the management. Apartment was spacious, well equipped and in great location.
Joe Kluck: Great communication! I stayed in a house in Brookline with STARS of Boston for the Boston Marathon. The house and location were perfect for getting on the train to go downtown. The host sent multiple welcome packets before our stay which were very detailed and useful. And the host was easy to reach within the VRBO app if any questions came up.
Peter Govis: 1029 Beacon St Brookline MA.Communication with the property manager was excellent! I was able to call or email and get an immediate response. The stay itself was okay in my opinion. What I didn’t realize what that actual residents were living in that building made me feel uncomfortable, especially when I was getting side eyed by an old man every time I would go in and out of the building. One time i was about to use the restroom and some resident was using it and left the door open! I wish I could say this happened only once but it happened a second time the next day.I also wished that the stay provided some kind of Brita or filtered water. They provided me 2 mini water bottles but when I was thirsty late at night I was drinking from the bathroom sink. The great location and cooperation with management made up for the faults above but it is worth noting
Paul Brough: Our stay was fabulous. The property was lovely, very clean just what we needed. Communication with Kama was excellent. Highly recommended!
samantha muka: Everything was nice except that it wasn't clear from the booking initially that there wasn't a private bathroom in the room and that it is shared. It's in a great area but there's a lot of construction. The information about parking is old and the two places listed are both out of business. The user guide should be updated
W Davis: Unfortunately, I personally did not stay at 30 Clay St Apt #3 because of the amount of stairs, but I was told by others I was traveling with once inside that it was very nice and comfortable.
K: We had a wonderful stay in Boston. It was just as advertised and more! Very clean with lots of space. Very close to the train, shopping and restaurants. Kama was a super host!
Aristotle Cabigao: The host (Kama) was very responsive and very helpful. I did not encounter any problem during my 5 nights stay. The place is clean and the price is worth it. It was accessible to the Conference area I went to and also a walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and other stalls. Would definitely come back again.
Eko Priyanto - Indonesia: The place description is exactly what we found in reality. It's very clean, tidy and we feel comfy to stay there. The host is very responsive, friendly and kind. We definitely will go back to stay in this place someday in the future when we back to Boston. Cheers.
Maggie Hashimoto: Beautiful comfortable room in a’very convenient area. Affordable price. Wonderful attentive host responded quickly and helped me every step of the way!! Thank you. I will be back!
Flo Jay: Maybe make it up front that you'll be sharing a bathroom. That was a big turn-off. The lighting in your pictures is much brighter than the actual lighting. Maybe police the fire escapes, someone came up on the one next toe on a rainy night, then ran off.Maybe put numbers on your entrance? How about fixing that hole instead of throwing some tile backer over it?Wasn't what I expected, for the money, I could have done much better.
J Talbot: Great room and great location. STARS IS super responsive and gives thorough guidance. Great value!
Kenn Johnson: This charming little studio in Brookline was outstanding for us! Quiet surrounding area. Close proximity to mass transit made it very easy to get around the city. The bed and accommodations were very comfortable.
July Lewis: Excellent location! It was especially nice to have a great breakfast place right on the same block, and to be walking distance to our concert at Fenway. Check in/out very easy.
Julie King: Great neighborhood for food and public transportation, sunny kitchen to hang out in, large family room, comfortable beds.
Jack Bailey: We needed a last-minute place to stay in Boston while recovering from a cold. This two bedroom apartment was nice, clean and convenient. Appliances worked, and the water and snacks provided were appreciated, as was the single parking spot (a premium in this area) down an extremely narrow driveway.
Ann Crispin: Excellent communication and concern for guest’s comfort/concerns. Conveniently located ground/basement apartment. Great walking parks nearby.Quiet.
Anna Gilcher: This was a great apartment -very comfortable and quite elegant, and it was in a fantastic location. Communication was excellent!
Shlomi Carmel: Great location, close to the T train stations of b,c,d to Boston, a quiet area. The apartment was clean but a little bit old. We enjoyed staying there very much
Ivette Lopez: 79 Chestnut 1B. Check in was easy. Great communication throughout our stay. Apartment was spacious and the bed was super comfy. Neighborhood was quiet and close to everything you would need. It was an almost perfect stay. The only issue we had was the slow internet. Couldn't watch an episode of a show without a constant buffer and using any app on the phone was incredibly slow as well. Wasn't a huge issue as we were gone most of the day, but was annoying when trying to wind down at the end of the day. Would still recommend and would stay here again as long as I don't have to work remotely.

Caj House: what do users think?
John Christian: I emailed, called (VM full) and text so many times. No one ever responded after multiple attempts. This seems like an organisation I would not trust to rent from.Service: 1/5 …More
Sarah Kervin: I stayed here while traveling for work. Sure, the apartment has cute decorations, but the AirBnB listing said it has an A/C and it does NOT. Not even a fan. Texted, called, and messaged the host a ton of times to see if they had a fan or anything, and they never responded. It was unBEARably hot and I spent half the night on the phone with AirBnB instead of sleeping and being ready for work the next day. Do NOT book this place (especially in the summer)!!
Gloria Gavris: Thank you Walter and the CAJ House! My tenant was displaced for over a month due to water damage from an upstairs contractor. CAJ House came to my rescue providing my tenant with a secure, cozy, lovely furnished apartment in a great Boston location. CAJ House is so nice I hope my tenant comes back! TY again! :)
Massimo Oriani: Just redecorated the aparment I stayed at, making it a 5 star experience!Best choice in Boston by far if you want to save money, have a real bostonian experience in the trendy South End and enjoy the city. Do not miss out on this place!
Geraldine Ang: I spent a memorable stay for three months in Boston on an overseas work attachment to Quincy Medical Center in Quincy Center with CAJ House, Worcester Street. My initial correspondence with CAJ House was helpful, professional and hassle-free. This was a real boon when you are bogged down with office work back in your home country. The last thing you want is to have your booking, deposit transaction and confirmation delayed causing unnecessary anxiety. I had none of that. It was fast, professional and pleasant. My check in upon arrival was easy and wonderful. I was very happy with my deluxe Apartment 4 which was assigned to me. Everything was clean, well laid out and cooking equipment in good condition. Walter, the landlord and Mike, the apartment manager were both friendly and helpful with all my tenant queries. When hurricane Sandy hit the eastern coast, there was a comprehensive email stating what we, as tenants, should be prepared for and do. They came round to all tenants and provided us with a handy torchlight should the power supply be cut off due to the storm. This provided us the tenants with the assurance that our landlord and apartment manager were looking out for our safety and personal welfare. Kudos to being responsible for all of us. Good job. Thanks for the personalised and professional service rendered to me during my stay with CAJ House, Worcester Street. It is greatly my Boston stay. Thank you for adding to my 'Happy' memory bank. :)Warmest regardsGeraldine / Singapore

No. 284 - A Boston Guest House: what do users think?
Asaf Taragan: Great experience with Sonder! The room was big, clean, and very quiet; I felt very good there. The location was very good, as I was close to many cool bars and shops. The view from the rooftop was great.and the Sonder team was nice and welcoming, helping me a lot with every question I had!
Ron Diskin: In love w Boston. Beautiful building and huge apartment. I work digitally so I travel a lot. I always stay w sonder bc I always get a huge apartment for half the price of every other hotel in the area. I love how the entire experience is digital bc I get a 5 star product and 5 star service and at the same time I have complete privacy. Always a great experience. I highly recommend
Alexa Armstrong: I wanted to reach out because the experience of staying at the Sonders in Boston was frankly quite appalling. I’ve stayed with them before in Miami and NY, where I really had a wonderful time – but I am afraid No. 284 Commonwealth Ave is not on par. There is no staff, no maintenance, no support, and much less space in any of their rooms.Firstly, at 2AM the day I arrive the alarm goes off for 20 minutes due to some water issue? It is not until 2:30 AM that we all go back to our room. This was a huge disturbance due to lack of maintenance of the building.Secondly, the rooms are much smaller than advertised, while the cleanliness of them was questionable. Hair clips that were thrown to the floor from a previous stay were still on the floor under the bedside tables in my room. This has never been an issue before when I've stayed in other Sonders. You can also hear everything, from the elevator to the water running, to conversations in other rooms. Normally I find that their rooms are much better sound proofed in other locations where I’ve stayed before! In previous stays, they've always provided at least one complimentary bottled water, or had a fountain to fill cups with water. This was not the case this time. The common areas also did not provide any water. The space to store suitcases was fully packed so I had nowhere to store my larger suitcase, just my carry-on because by miracle there was one small space opened. The last straw was when the alarm started ringing (AGAIN) becoming subtly stronger and stronger the last day of my stay. I again had to get work done, and it was so distracting. At first it seemed like a glitch, and then got louder and louder. In general, this location does not seem as UpToDate and well-kept as Sonders other venues and was a major disappointment.I really want to emphasize this review as someone who has always been a fan and recommends Sonders to friends. The stay in Boston has made me reconsider, as I got no sleep, peace of mind, nor space to work during my stay. It almost was a point of anxiety coming back to the room which is not what one wants while on a work trip.
Kevin Horecka: Apparently I should expect to be woken up tomorrow and have someone come into my room without my permission because they need to test the fire alarms. I tried to contact them to ask that they come in later in the day so as to not interrupt sleeping in on my vacation and a talk I have to give later in the day from my room. They were not helpful and provided no options. So I'm not even at the location yet and I'm already stressed about having my privacy violated on vacation. I wish I'd booked somewhere else.
Steven Fuhr: Let’s start with what I found to be good. The room was fairly clean albeit very small – like under 200 sq.ft. small. The bathroom was so tiny, there was nowhere to even put down my small toiletry bag except the toilet lid or inside the sink basin, which was first for me in hundreds of rooms. The location was close to the Heinz Convention Center, which is why I chose it. It goes downhill from here, steeply. My first big issue which I wrote another review in more detail about was a classic case of irrational inflexibility. On my original booking, I reserved 3 nights. Within 12 hours of that booking, I realized I needed one more day, but they would not let me book just one day since they have a 2-day minimum. My argument that I had already booked 3 days and was simply adding a fourth fell on deaf “Chat-Bot” ears.On booking in, and with all these next issues, keep one thing in mind. Sonders is nothing more than glorified Air-B&B, with no staff to help if you have any problem. So, when I found my Wi-Fi password didn’t work on my phone or laptop, I spent almost 3 hours over the next 2 days trying to fix the problem, but the “Chat-Bot” support, which I’m guessing is in India or South Korea, could not help me. It worked fine in the plane, airport and coffee shop, but not here, and the two friends I had staying in other rooms couldn’t get on either. I never did speak with a human to help me, and this problem never was solved. What alarmed me each night I was there was the Fire Alarm warning sound going off in the foyer saying there was a System Communication Error. The second night, I texted “Chat-Bot” Support again, but they never got back to me, so made a non-emergency call to the Fire Department, and when they came, they said it was likely if an alarm went off, the signal would not go to the central station. They felt it was a pretty big issue, and it happened again on night 3, but I had given up at that point. This issue was likely caused by the internet connectivity issue too.Three other points worth mentioning start with they put a $350 “Incidental Hold” on your credit card for a week, where other real hotels put a $100 deposit on for a night. They must make good money on the interest float with that amount and time. The funny part is, there are no incidentals in the rooms to buy or even vending machines downstairs, not incidentally. The final point relates to the common area cleanliness. For a place that can command upwards of $450 a night, I was in shock that the carpets look like it’s a dog kennel, with the old, worn carpet having literally hundreds of spots. It smelled like a kennel too, and this was true of all the halls, stairs and even inside the elevator, which smelled of urine. On the outside, there’s a lot of trash, probably from neighboring properties, and the rats were going BONKERS every night. Not only did I have them literally run into feet on three occasions, on two occasions a passersby shrieked as rats ran at their feet too. There were no visible rat-control traps anywhere, which is just another negligent cost savings measure on Sonder’s part. No staff, no internet, no repairs, and big money – what a great business model. There’s also absolutely no parking here, or anywhere near here. The bottom line is there are dozens of other great hotels and Air B&B’s to stay at nearby – I'd avoid this overpriced low-grade hostel like the Plague.
julie lyda: First issue was with uploading my license. After several attempts I called customer service. After 45 min of them telling me they had no record of my uploading attempts I emailed them screen shots of the error messages. Finally I emailed photos of my license which they accepted.I then received an email that I had been upgraded. The original room I booked had a bedroom and a pullout sofa. I called to confirm since my son who is 6’ needs a bed. When we arrived the couch didn’t appear to be a pullout and I looked for extra bedding …none. Called customer service AGAIN. No other rooms available in my building. No cots available. They did offer to move us to another unit. We travelled all day and had just parked the car so we declined the offer. They did say another room in our building is available the next night so our son could have that room for no charge. When we returned from dinner no extra bedding or cot. Called sustainer service and they said everyone was gone for the day!?!? My husband and I slept with a sheet. My son is sleeping on a sofa with his legs hanging off the end. Will get to call them again today to figure out tonight’s arrangements.I have stayed in many hotels and airbnbs this is by far THE WORST all for $525 a night.Rooms: Small no extras.Walkability: Nearby restaurants and shopping.Food & drinks: Many options available within walking distance.
Angela Mc Glanaghey: Clean, comfortable and quiet! Contactless stay so maybe not for everyone but we really enjoyed itRooms: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sir Zhirafff: Pros: location. clean enoughCons: check in system is made for their convenience, not yours.app downloading, your biometrics required, etc. there is no front desk, no staff, no service - nothing, but phone number. All in all, the level of an average motel, but in the center
Steve Fuhr: I have spent the last 3 hours trying to just add a night, and at the end of the day, I've found it is literally impossible. My first 4 nights were booked with Expedia, and they couldn't do it because Sondor took their availability off the table after I booked my room. Sondor is playing games, saying to add one night in this same room, which Travelocity, Expedia, and every other site advertises for $175, is $400. This isn't even a hotel - it's really just an Air-B&B condo on steroids. They literally have no customer service or even a desk to check in at. As for Expedia - if my company hadn't referred me to it I could have saved $20-$30 on any other site.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BOOKING AT THIS SONDOR OR USING EXPEDIA
Amanda Myron: Great location, clean room, friendly staff, and beautiful building inside and out!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Steve Zonce: Nice place, however our TV didn’t work the first night. Getting in touch with someone was challenging because it’s virtual only. They offered me a credit, however they never sent it to me.
Mohamadmehdi Ebrahimi: Nastiest place I have ever been! They charged me much more than what I booked!
Joy Kevelson: Sonder No. 284 Back Bay has no accountability to its patrons and literally no staff. It is an empty box. After traveling for 8 hours, we stopped by to leave off our luggage. We were greeted by a rude woman who was "on my way out." She insisted we had received an e-mail with a code to get into the front door and into our room; there had been no e mail sent (welcome letter) until we had been there 24 hours. The code she initially gave us did not work. We were lucky she was still there to give us a different code; otherwise, we would need to call a number and wait to get into the guest house. This was after traveling all day. Once inside the hotel, you would need to call a Sonder number to get ANY assistance (coffee machine broken, fresh towels, etc). What makes this so sad is we had stayed at No. 284 before Sonder took over, during the pandemic. The staff bent over backward with bagged breakfasts (yogurt, fruit), coffee downstairs, lovely amenities, and staff who would welcome and assist guests. After this experience, we will never stay at any Sonder property. It is no wonder their stock is trading at such a depressed level.
Sabine O: Great, comfy bed and very beautiful location. Super central and safe area. I knocked a star off because our room wasn’t completely cleaned when we arrived (there was a suspect substance on the toilet seat). I think the cleaner probably just had a bad day , would still recommend!
mona shah: From the beginning at check in. We didn’t get our code. Called a number and we were told it would be a few minutes it too us 45 minutes to get a code to come in. They don’t clean either and they have a door stopped right in the middle of the room that I’m sure everyone has tripped over multiple timesRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Shawn Oisin Freeman: Starting at 9pm at night at checkin my spouse sat outside of the hotel for 3 1/2 hours, because the door lock technology failed. They couldn’t get into the building. There is no staff to assist and I had not landed in Boston yet. When I arrived I also tried the code and it failed. After another 30 mins and speaking with a Sonder rep who had me try the code again finally got IT and give us another code over the phone… The new code worked and we were told to disregard the old code the app gave us.When we asked for a late checkout we were immediately denied via text even though we lost hours on our stay do to Sonder’s failure to prepare for our visit. The next morning used their locker system in the lobby only to be locked out of the hotel again so we could retrieve our bags. Back on the phone we were…
Phil: 1 star because of the check in process. You get an email every day until you register an account on their website, take photos of your personal identification to upload to their website, and force you to take photos of yourself using their facial recognition software via their website. It's tedious, invasive and overkill.
Lateef Mirza: Amazing stay at this Sonder location. Great area of Boston to explore.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
NJ W: The check in process was really annoying. Since I booked this though another portal, there was an error & I did not get the check-in instructions. There's no lobby/ receptionists so calling the help line at 11PM was not fun. It took about 20 minutes on the phone to get the codes to my room and the building. The studio room is spacious and looks just like the photos. Great room to have if you need a work station. The bathroom is small but clean and updated ( note only a shower, no tub). The bed was comfortable but the sheets felt like paper, scratchy and cheap. There was a mini fridge, kettle and coffee station that was useful.Location is great and very walkable, hidden between the other brownstones. A lovely neighborhood to walk around, eat & shop. Despite those great things, I would not stay here again mainly due to the sheets and small bathroom.

The College Club of Boston: what do users think?
Susan Gerow: I recently held a brunch meeting at The College Club. The food and service were impeccable. The venue is truly unique and very beautiful. If you are looking for a beautiful location for a special occassion event, then I strongly recommend speaking with Chef Chris Bussell at The College Club. He and his staff will make your occassion truly memorable. The College Club is located half a block away from the Public Garden in Boston. You can not find a more convenient location for your stay.
Heike Arneth: Cosy.

Voyager Zhang: Stayed 1 night in September 2022. My single room is tiny and rusty and noisy. The building has potential to be cleaned up to look at least someone cares, but there are clutters everywhere. Price is 3 times that of staying in a monastery in Rome, Italy during peak season, cleanliness and amenities is much worse.
Heather Marie: My stay here was fantastic! The staff was great and knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions. The location is perfect! Nearly all of the major tourist spots are within a thirty minute walk. The room had everything I needed and was very charming. I will be staying there again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Paige Krossman: My husband and I came and stayed at the College Club for our honeymoon this past week and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the old timey feel and the breakfast each morning. The location is also very convenient as it’s close to multiple coffee shops and amazing restaurants. If you choose to stay here definitely check out Joe’s, it’s super tasty.
Jack Linder: College club of Boston is a great place to stay if you are looking for something historical and centrally located. The bed and amenities left something to be desired, but you cannot have it all with somewhere so historical!
Brian Rogoski: My two day stay College Club was fantastic. The room was beautiful and spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. They are located in a beautiful 1860s brownstone in the Back Bay area, which is filled with plenty of Victorian era charm. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Copley Square & the Boston Public Library's McKim building (which is a required stop for any visitor to Boston), and several "T" stops so getting around the rest of the city is a cinch. I will definitely be back if I make any subsequent visits to the Boston area.
Christopher Baring: Fine place to stay, rates not bad most of the time, closest parking is Boston common garage or Prudential center. But good location otherwise.
Latoya Mitchell: I really love this property. Such a beautiful charm, hidden gem and a unique bed n’ breakfast experience that is a must. I don’t write reviews but always read reviews before making my decision. This was my first time visiting Boston for a early Sunday arrival to a one night stay. I’m a big Airbnb person to feel like a local in the city or place I’m visiting. After looking at the Airbnb’s in Boston most Airbnb reviews would say it felt like a hotel. Which I’m not a big fan of Hotels. So I am glad I came across The College Club of Boston. Check-In was at 3pm. My daughter and I, arrived early a.m and around 11am- felt exhausted with our backpacks. We called and the sweetest lady answered. We asked if we could check-in early and with no problem we were able to at noon. Super friendly staff, super clean, the room 218 was big with a clean fresh smell. I would highly recommend this place. If you can truly appreciate the beauty in old charm and that the older things are the better! Neighborhood was Arlington, quiet, cozy, felt like a home, close to everything, easy public transportation and felt safe. You’ll thank me later! Book it!
Jane Jezard: Meet friends for knitting workshop. Delightful afternoon, lovely room, nice lunch, and convenient location.
Lance H.: What can I say...1800's building, Women's club, 12 foot ceilings... breakfast included just down from Boston Commons.
Marta Karaś: The College Club is a true gem, standing out from other hotels with its unique history and decor. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There is an elevator available.Location: 5/5 …More
Diamela Morales: El lugar es hermoso. Te hace sentir que estás en otra época. Muy buena ubicación si estás recorriendo la ciudad y te moves caminando. Personal muy amable
Rachel Smith: This is an oasis of serenity in downtown Boston. Ideally situated steps away from the Boston Commons, the Public Gardens and thrumming Newbury Street, it exudes an old world charm and intimacy. One feels immediately at home in the rooms lined with wood-panelling and books. It’s a welcome relief from the sterility of most hotels, and the staff are very attentive and kind. I love to stay here whenever I’m in Boston.
Sara Nations: An charming welcome to Boston for our first few days of a New England road trip! Everyone was so kind, and had great resources for recommendations. The location can't be beat - it was so walkable to all the sights we visited: Public Garden and Boston Common, the Freedom Trail, Cheers Bar, Beacon Hill, Newbury Street, the Charles River Esplanade, and Fenway Park to name a few! The College Club of Boston is perfect for a first time in the city!
Vinicius Seolin: Quartos e atendimento ótimos! A parte interna é uma viagem no tempo da mais alta qualidade. Super recomendo
Ragni Rustad: Veldig koselig sted! Likte det Veldig godt ❤❤

InterContinental Boston, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Sheila Long: Shower was cold at 6am. We used the fridge and moved an item so we got charged. Lucky I checked out so I got it deleted. Mini bars are so 1990’s - this is a dated facility.Rooms: Room was huge - had a desk and office. We didn’t use it.
Bailey Rider: Priceline says this is a 5 star hotel. Uhm..wow, is that true? Hard, uncomfortable beds.. terrible pillows.. lights only worked half the time in the bathroom… outdated.. noise problems all night. The internet is incredibly slow. The location is amazing, that's about it. Pretty bummed that we decided to splurge on this hotel, it honestly was a waste of money.4/12/23 Edit- Laura thank you for replying to this review. I have reached out to you the through the email you supplied me. The booking was under my husbands name which I will gladly provide you.4/20/23 I called the Director of Sales back after I missed her call and was transferred and put on hold immediately. I never got in contact with them. They said they wanted to make it right, but they never did.
Liz Lobo: Such a great hotel! Not too far from everything, including the South Station for catching the subway or bus. Great service and beautiful rooms.
Peter DeWitt: Intercontinental has the poorest reservation experience I have ever had. Long hold times only to be transferred and wind back again at the same place. I gave a number for someone to text me back - and nobody did. If my experience with reservations is any indication I would think twice about staying here.

Loews Boston Hotel: what do users think?
shawnm618: Perfect location. Restaurant attached is wonderful. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I've stayed here multiple timesRooms: Comfortable, well maintained, clean, great water pressure in shower.Nearby activities: Newbury is easily walkable, so many food choices nearby.Walkability: Everything is closeFood & drinks: The Precinct restaurant attached makes it almost impossible to leave to get food. Harry Nguyen: I would have gave the hotel 5 stars if the hotel didn't want to charged me $8 for a FIJI water bottle and or provided me a kettle and tea bags. I don't understand what the hotel owners think, they ruined hotel's reputation just because of a bottle water. I and my colleagues booked this hotel and now everyone among us makes a joke about paying $300 per night for a room but still need to pay extra $8 for a water bottle. Even motels give out complimentary water bottles. In additional, they gave me a room with a clogged sink, though after calling front desk and got the issue resolve, I didn't expect to get a clogged sink for the price I had to pay. I will be hesitant if I need to book this hotel again.Reply hotel's reply: If you mean "complimentary water" is going down to the lobby and filling water bottles yourself then I have nothing to say. I've stayed at dozen of hotels all over the world and "complimentary water" means at least 2 complimentary water bottles inside the room per day.
Bobby Freda: The hotel itself was nice, but the hospitality was not.I called days before our reservation for my girlfriend’s birthday. I spoke to Joseph on the phone (assistant manager at the front desk). I let him know about it, and requested anything they could do that would make it more special. After hearing his condescending tone of voice, I felt he was considering the request unimportant. He laughed under his breath at my request very clearly. But I guess it was my mistake for not checking back with another employee.Joseph said he would have champagne put in the room, and then rushed me off the phone with that same tone of voice. When we get there, there was nothing special or different at all from what a normal stay would have been. And that would have been fine had Joseph not lied to me.Following our visit, I brought this to his attention over a phone call. He suggested I call days in advance…which I did. Then he continued to say I should have ordered something from a third party outside the hotel…which I would have had he been honest with me when I first called him.All-in-all, he had every excuse in the book for why he hadn’t taken my request seriously. Joseph should not be working in hospitality. He is ill-equipped to deal with customer concerns, lacks honesty, and dropped the ball on a very simple request.
A Bother: Really no better deal in back bay. The hotel has changed hands a few times, but it's never a disappointment.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Amanda Huynh-Liggs: Well appointed hotel location. The rooms are showing some wear (headboards are pleather and peeling) and I found a lump of hair slapped against the shower stall, implying it wasn't thoroughly by house keeping.Beds are very comfortable, pillows are too soft but very abundant.Staff is friendly, and the decor is modern. At that price point, I'd have been better off paying a bit more for the kimpton. If you score a deal, then stay. My Expedia status provided a food credit and free upgrade, otherwise it probably would've been over priced.
Alin Bennett: One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in at the price point. I was pleasantly surprised by the service, quality of rooms, and the restaurant. I will definitely be staying here when I work in Boston!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jada Kissi: I loved my experience here. The staff was super friendly, from the bellhops to check in staff and the restaurant/wait staff. Everyone was so accommodating. The environment is also classy and clean. I was with friends in the restaurant and had drinks and service in the lounge. Our room and bathroom was clean and cute. I definitely recommend it and would like to visit it again.
Clark Miranda: Beautiful hotel, nice location, parking overpriced. We parked next door at another hotel for half the price

Boston Pads: what do users think?
William Queen: My wife and I worked with Chris DiPisa to find an apartment in Cambridge Spring of 2023. We live out of state and felt so overwhelmed, until we got a call from Chris immediately following an email to him. He was so prompt, helpful, explained everything so well and made us feel very comfortable. I only wish we had found him sooner!
Audrey O'Neill: I worked with Shahab Madadi with Boardwalk Properties and would recommend anyone looking for a place to move in Boston to reach out to him! He was very responsive and helpful during my apartment search.
Jane Holmes: My partner and I worked with Shahab Madadi with Boardwalk Properties to find our new apartment and we had a wonderful experience. Shahab was professional, organized, and willing to answer all of our questions in a timely manner. I would 100% work with Shahab again and would recommend him to any Bostonians looking for housing.
Marilia Garner: Great experience with Jimmy Ngo from NextGen Realty. Helped us find an apartment and close the deal quickly and efficiently. Would definitely use again in the future.
Nonhlanhla Motaung: Looking for an apartment to rent as an international student seemed like a daunting task, that is until I connected with Carrie Zhao from Boardwalk Properties. From the moment we started searching I felt I was in good hands. I cannot rave about her enough. Not only was she patient with me in meeting my requests but she also had insights as to which areas would be best for me as a student in terms of finding a place not too far from campus as well as having public transportation options. She has truly gone over and above and I thank God I connected with her through the Boston Pads platform.
Rachel Klinger: Carrie Zhao from Boardwalk Properties helped us find a wonderful apartment! She was incredible responsive and thoughtful- definitely recommend working with her
G: I was looking at a place and for 2k a month, I was denied because I don't make three times the monthly income.I'm a veteran with panic attacks that can't be in the workplace.I have limited income of around 3,000 a month. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Shaunak Joshi: Shahab Madadi was our broker.I absolutely pleased with the services offered by shahab and bostonpads. He was super proactive and patient, along with explaining every step of the apartment renting process to an international student like me. Shahab was always available and felt like having a friend on the inside. Couldn't have asked for a better broker. I'd blindly trust him while being rest assured. Thanks a bunchShaun
Danial Shafi: Carrie Zhao got me a lovely apartment. She was very kind and attentive. I really appreciate the work she put in to fit me with an appropriate apartment that I am very satisfied with.
Abbey Mitchell: Shahab was able to find me and my 4 other roommates the best place. He found us a surplus of great options to choose from and was able to do it so fast. 10/10. Thank you again Shahab!
Luke Gianni: My brother and I had a wonderful experience with Steven Scurti from Boardwalk Properties. Steven was more than patient with our requests and always put our needs first. We were doing the whole process online and he made the whole process so easy. He was very kind from the beginning finding us a place right around our school. Steven met us at the airport with our keys and offered us a ride to the place. Very responsive via text and phone. Chill guy with positive attitude you need to find your perfect place. If you want someone you can trust look no further. Thank you Steven.
Yehuda Gale: Chris was very helpful and honest throughout the entire process
Hy Dinh: Josh Vargas helped me to get a great 1 bedroom apartment. Great service, very helpful, professional and responsive! I would totally work with Josh again and gladly recommend to anyone.
Pads Finder: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueGreat selection of Apartments with more real-time listings than any website in the Greater Boston Area.
Leila Dieye: Steven Scurti from Boardwalk property helped us find the perfect place on such short notice (less than 3 weeks actually). Despite all the challenges he remained patient, professional and most importantly very available.Would 100% recommend, and will definitely give them a call if I need another place.
Herschel Wiseman: Positive:ProfessionalismWorked with Steven Scurti from Boardwalk Properties - Great service, very receptive, willing to work any time of the day or night, and most importantly got it done when it counted. He helped me find a great 1 bedroom on huntington avenue in Mission Hill.
Jussekia Jean: It’s been now a week since I’ve been contacting them regarding a property. I talked to one agent, he said that he would call me back but he never did. I reached out to someone else, she also said she would contact me back but she never did. She told me to reach out to her by message which I did but she never replied. That is unprofessional from them and is giving a bad look to the business they are running. If I could give 0 star, I would’ve but well!!!
Oboseaye Ojo: I would definitely recommend using the Boston Pads platform. From the first day I registered and liked some units, an agent reached out to me almost immediately. Her name is Tiffany Costello from Nextgen Realty. She is very genuine, proactive and just great. We got along very well and she did extensive research to find me units that were in line with what I had in mind. It was a very smooth experience and I would definitely use them again.
Ameya Gokhale: Tiffany helped me out with getting an apartment in the South End. Very easy to work with and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for!
Julia Duggan: Positive:ProfessionalismRachael made viewing safe and easy during covid and worked to answer all my questions.
Red Bealsey: I applied for a job here in march, someone texted me and said the job had been filled but asked if I wanted to be a real estate agent. I have 0 qualifications or experience for that. I replied, twice, no response. Then the lady texted the same message again word for word. Again I replied, no response. So I called the office and left a message asking if this person worked for them or if I was getting scammed. I got a reply within a few hours (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1) and they said this person does work for them. So not a scam just not great with handling hiring.

Global Luxury Suites Downtown Boston: what do users think?
Chantel Blanchette: Don't expect luxury. Window coverings made from accordioned-paper. Shower had nowhere to put soaps. 7/10 for cleanliness. Could have been worse, but for the price, was expecting better.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Agathe Verge: Scam. the pictures of the unit when we booked got NOTHING to compare with reality !Rooms: very cheap room. bed extremely uncomfortable. no water pressure.
Richard Patterson: Boston's China Town neighborhood offers tidy, comfortable apartments. Every person of the staff we dealt with was pleasant and really helpful. Definitely suggest for your upcoming visit.
zvi yarkon: To Begin, if you having any problem their is no one to talk to. The Water stream in the shower so low could not Wash. Room not clean no darling shade we Wake up at 6:30 with the sun. Internet did not work on daily basis!! Cleaning poor nothing is good don't com close!!!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Lindsay Fengel: I stayed at 8 Harrison Ave. I was scheduled to stay for 14 days, but only made it to day 4.Sunday evening upon checking in I found the washing machine broken, tv broken, living room lamp broken, bedroom lamp broken and the place is very dirty. The floor is even sticky. I sent an email immediately to inform GLS and to get help.Monday I received no response to my email so I called them in the afternoon. They hadn't read it yet. I waited while they found my email and tickets were issued for the repairs but not for cleaning. They said they would talk to housekeeping first.Tuesday repairs were made. I asked about cleaning and again was told they would get back to me. In the evening I wanted to shower and noticed when the washing machine was fixed they dumped the nasty water in the shower leaving it unsanitary and unusable. I notified GLS of the issue immediately. It was after 5pm so I receive no response on Tuesday. I had to bath in the Kitchen sink.Wed. I again asked for cleaning. I was told housekeeping had already been there but they would come again. It would be scheduled for Thursday. I am now having to bath for the second day in the kitchen sink because the shower is gross.Thursday I returned at 5pm looking forward to a shower and being able to take my shoes off for the first time in the apartment (dirty sticky floor). Unfortunately, I returned to a dirty apartment. I call again and am told housekeeping had cleaned and would not be returning. That is when I took pictures of the larger issues as the smaller debris and the sticky floor don't photo well. The apartment was not a sanitary/safe environment and after trying to work with GLS for 4 days, I ended up leaving and going to a hotel. Oh, the shower felt good!I requested a refund and GLS and they offered to refund me 4 days! They refuse to refund me in full because the contract states non-refundable. I guess it doesn't matter if they hold up their end of the contract to provide a clean livable space. I wish I had read reviews or checked the BBB (1.4/5 rating) before I booked my stay! I would have gone elsewhere. I hope my experience helps you decide to go elsewhere.

Judy Y: Administration is in another state and only concern themselves with getting your money The 24 hour concierge and manger tries their best to help without local support. Location is good, furnishings acceptable. There's no place to put your soap or shampoo in the shower stall.
The Outkult: No towels, washing machines not hooked up to water, only 1 coffee packet for 2 nights — also no coffee pot in our room in the first place. Floor boards are coming up and wood is starting to rot?No one call the inspector because I doubt this building would pass.
tobias tarda: The worst hotel ever, we transfered the payment months before our arrival and we were noticed about a transaction problem the day we arrives at Boston. We had to book another hotel on our first day in the city. Don’t stay here
elif neslihan: They are lying to people . I booked from booking for one night stay and price was 196$.After payment they wanted to charge from me 150$ extra. And no cancellations no refunds. I called Booking.com. They said try to fix it. I trusted Booking.com but aftter this happened I really upset to them. This is clearly fraud and Booking.com part of this. I checked now they wrote extra additional cost correctly. I think after my complaints booking warmed them.
Shaindy W: We want to thank you for a wonderful weekend. I realize that we are in a pandemic but global luxury suites went above and beyond to help us in any way! We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Boston. Thank you to all the courteous staff who did the best they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We hope to come back and stay again soon!

Elisha Lovejoy: Horrible service I wanted to cancel due to covid and was promised a refund and got the run around
Timmy Hashey: the bed
Joe O Shea: Was due to stay at these apartments in April 2020, however due to the COVID-19 outbreak and travel bans in place was unable to travel. When calling mid-March 2020, the helpline informed me that a 90% refund would be issued on the basis it was cancelled 14 days in advance. When it came to fully cancelling the trip, they retracted what they had said previously and would issue no refund. Speaking to a manager was impossible with contacting several times, with no response.Would not recommend to book.
Allan Manning: In a crisis you see the best and the worst. Due to understandable travel restrictions imposed we are unable to travel. Every single airline and hotel has done the right thing and allow us to rebook when things return to normal bar one. Global Luxury Suites despite being a return and loyal customer. Shame on your short term selfish approach. As honorable people we will remember those that did the right thing and never forget those that shafted us. Shame on you!

Revere Hotel Boston Common: what do users think?
Danisha Atchison: My family and I Had a wonderful time at the revival for revive Boston!! A truly amazing experience of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit! The staff here at the hotel were extremely kind and hospitable as well! Can’t wait to go back
Ann: Very convenient location for Boston Commons, Public Park, Freedom Trail head, and Subway station. 5-7 minutes walk. Park station has Orange and Redline. Redline takes you directly to Cambridge, where MIT and Harvard are located. Took 25 minutes walk to Boston Harbor Cruise dock. The room was spacious enough. It was quiet and the front desk staff were friendly.
Madalyn Merkey: 5 stars! I did a lot of searching and absolutely love this hotel. I arrived via redeye at 5 AM and was able to get into my room then! This hotel absolutely saved my life. The beds are super comfortable and there is an enormous bathtub and balcony in the standard king size room. I'm so pleased and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
J Goulet: I found that this was a 3 star hotel in a 5 star location. Location can almost not be beat, so close to everything you need! But the hotel itself is fairly mediocre. Dated rooms and hallways, polite but not friendly staff, strange things like no mini fridges in the rooms, you could hear the toilet flush next door or people having conversations. All in all a good stay but not up to my expectations for the price and star rating.
Ad G: The fact they lost a checked bag with valuable items ruined the whole experience.Advice - if you do stay here. Don’t check bags or leave anything of value anywhere but the safe.Safety: They lost a checked bag that was tagged. Presented the ticket - no bag.And they didn’t seem overly concerned it was missing. “ sorry. I can’t find it was the response “. 🙄.So obviously their security is more than a touch loose. And systems for look after guests items less than stellar.
Maria Jimena Cardona: Great hotel, nice interior…DJ in the bar on the wkds…they allowed early check in easily
K Q: Let me start off with the fact that the main lobby is overwhelmed with a perfume scent. Mind you, I’m pregnant so it smacked me in the face extra hard (it was God awful and smelt like that 24/7). But it wasn’t just me complaining, so it wasn’t just my extra sensitive pregnancy nose. The room was decent, but there was NO mini fridge! While this is petty, we are foodies that eat a lot during vacation, so leftovers were basically trashed since we had no place to store them. The bed was also a little wonky and became uncomfortable after a few days. The towels were very rough (texture), from the wash clothes to the bath towels, they need to be replaced.Service….you mean a phone that cannot reach its own hotel? The phone was useless. The location was great though! Very close walking distance to nearly anything you’d need! Breakfast was a hit everyday (highly recommend The Friendly Toast, Mike & Patty’s & Tatte). Nusr-Et for dinner if you’re feeling fancy and rich. Rebel’s Guild was good too.CVS is right across the street and the closest liquor store is a few blocks away.Overall, for the expensive cost, I expected more from this hotel.
Nir Felder: Deceptive charges, rude front desk, room not fully cleaned with previous occupants garbage still in room, furniture in room banged up and dinged all over. Dirty elevator. Much better places to stay in Boston for same price.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Hello: This shouldn’t be called a 4star hotel to be honest. There are no bellboys to take your luggage to your room. You need to bring all your baggage on your own. It seems like it’s an old hotel that they (badly) renovated. Our room had the wallpaper like this on the photo. The room stank and was hot. The bathroom is extremely small and you don’t get a bathrobe or slippers. When I went to bed I noticed some ants in my bed…overall it was a bad experience and we won’t return to this hotel. Also the internet you get is bad. Can’t even FaceTime…
Amber Carreiro: Incredible hotel! Great service & beautiful rooms. Room service was excellent and dinner delicious! Will definitely stay here again in the future!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Matt Lott: Good place to stay close by the Freedom Trail. I liked the theme in keeping with the revolutionary expedition I planned for the family.Rooms: The rooms are small, but par for the area. I think I got a good deal for being about a block off Boston Common.Nearby activities: Freedom Trail, Boston Common.Walkability: Close to the freedom trail, Boston Common, State HouseNoteworthy details: Cool modern twist on the revolutionary theme.
Chase Elder: This hotel allows the FBI and Army to conduct armed room breaching training and they hit an innocent person. Be careful staying here, never know what alphabet agency will kick in your door and interrogate you.
Carl Rice: Room was clean and well furnished, great location, but it is a front run by the FBI to allow their agents to enter guest rooms without a warrant and terrorize random people that have done nothing wrong.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Michael: This establishment is allowing FBI and other law enforcement agencies conduct training exercises in which they wrongly barge into guest rooms, handcuff guests, and interrogate them for extended periods of time. Moreover, this hotel charges an amenity fee, the type of junk fees that congress is trying to eliminate.
Sandra Serna: Nearby activities: Theater area, walking distance to many places, restaurants, theaters.Safety: Very safeWalkability: Close to metro (subway), buses.Walking distance to places.Food & drinks: Many great restaurants, cafes, coffee shops.
