Soundproof Windows / Soundproof Window Treatments / MASS SOUNDPROOF: what do users think?
Mingyuan Yao: Richard helped us install two large windows for our house in Newton. Worked like magic. Simply added a layer of window in front of the original one. Reduced abt 70-80% of the noise. Great quality.
Bobby Morse: We installed windows in the bedroom and they work well, dropping decibels from airplane/traffic noise from 47 to 43, which is actually a reasonable difference given how the dB scale works. It is not silent but it helps, and the windows are very high quality.5 stars because Richard will work with you to maximize your success on the order and install. Trying to add soundproofing is very complicated and he will work hard to help you succeed. I tried a lot of hacky options to reduce noise but nothing worked well. There aren't a ton of options out there for a reasonable cost, but this was definitely a big help and Richard is a great person to work with.
Frank R.: We ordered over a dozen soundproof windows and two exterior soundproof storm doors from Richard. I'm happy to say that they did everything we were hoping they would do. We did a lot of research for "soundproof" windows and came across several different brands. We live near several highways and were hoping to reduce the noise coming into the home to enjoy our conversations and sleep. We went with Richard as he was the most responsive and reliable throughout the process. One thing to keep in mind when doing your research is your home's overall structure. We have your generic sheetrock/wood frame, which means that sound can travel through the walls, not just through the windows. Be mindful of this, as the windows will not render your home completely noise-free. In our case, the noise was reduced dramatically to the point where we could really enjoy our home. The doors work amazingly as well! The windows/doors are expensive, but Richard helped me save money by allowing me to pick up the windows from him and install them on my own. I live in Massachusetts, so I rented a u-haul, which was much cheaper than paying for freight/crating and installation costs. Installation seemed daunting, but if you have even minor handy skills, you can do it. I recommend taking your time. I installed the windows over a weekend and saved the doors for another weekend. I did all our windows solo but did need a hand when getting the doors on as they are heavy. Richard was great at providing me with a list of all the tools I needed; he even offered to come out to provide help for no cost if I needed it as well. The windows and doors look great too. You wouldn't notice the windows unless we pointed them out, and they operate very similarly to storm windows (another reason we went with these because we wanted to get fresh air easily as compared to other companies offering inserts). Richard was very communicative, was always available if I had any questions, and was easy to work with. I'm happy to say that we're glad we went with Richard's company.
BJ Wass: I run a music school in Wakefield MA. I spoke with Richard about my idea to connect two lesson rooms with a soundproof window. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciated the transparency with pricing and the kind professional he had do the installation. Richard had followed up to make sure I was happy with the finished product. I am very happy! Thank you :)
Sam Silverman: On 8-21-'20 in the morning...richard told me that the laminated glass he uses for his sashes was 3/8" thick but it isn't. I went upstairs to examine the window his helper had installed minutes earlier & i CLEARLY saw that the glass was 1/8" & certainly not 3/8". I have worked with glass for over 50 years. Why the lie?
William Poole: We recently moved in to a residential flat overlooking a busy main street that serves as a corridor to a nearby tourist destination, the noise was near constant with daytime shoppers, daily rush hour and evening traffic......large trucks, motorcycles, radio noise from cars were becoming an unmanageable din. We looked for noise reducing solutions which included full window replacement, but realized that due to the building type and location (historic in a historic business zone) it would not be a cost effective solution to replace the windows. We're so glad to have found EZ Soundproof- the process of measuring and ordering the interior sound reduction inserts is easy, and help is only a call, or email away. This company is professional and friendly and have a vested interest in providing quality products for the right situation. The windows arrived in a way I can only describe as "thoughtful". Fully crated and every consideration for assuring that all components; hardware, frames, glass- everything arrived in sound condition. Installation was a breeze! What I like is that the windows are composed of a frame within a frame, which allows for an adjustable "true-fit" taking in for minor adjustments if the window trim and casings are out (which often happens in older dwellings and buildings). Even before caulking and finishing the trim paint, the reduction in noise was noticeable, cars and motorcycles passed by with little to no noise. We're beyond impressed with the quality and service that EZ Soundproof has providing for this project.
Amirali Fattahi: Richard took the measurements, ordered the windows, and installed them for my parents condo. They couldn't have been happier with him and the final result. There's been a big improvement on the sound from the street and the construction next to their house. As a bonus you get a good cold/heat isolation... (it will definitely save on gas/electricity...).Thanks for the great work!
Joe Crivello: I ordered window treatments for the bedrooms in my house and I've been very pleased with them. They do a great job blocking sound. I live in a townhouse community that can be quite noisy at times, and I was looking for a way to cut down the outside noise getting into my bedrooms. I estimate I'm getting about a 75% reduction in sound after installing the treatments. Loud noises (like barking dogs) are diminished so they're not as irritating, and lesser noises are either barely noticeable or completely inaudible. Keep in mind that after you install the treatments your walls may become the soundproofing weak point. I think that's the case for me. I was so pleased with the soundproofing that the treatments provided for my bedrooms that I ordered more treatments for my TV room. Customer service is excellent. Richard returned my phone calls in a very timely manner, and he did a great job answering the installation questions I had. Highly recommended!
NM First: Finally my child is sleeping in! We love our soundproof window. At first we were afraid to order the window because we had to measure it ourselves and install it but we are SO GLAD we bought the window. First you measure your window. Measure correctly. Use a quality measure tape. Even maybe a laser tape. It has to be perfect. The window comes delivered in a crate that is screwed tight and packed well. We paid the delivery man $20 bucks and he helped unpack everything and I also asked him if he could make the crate disappear for another 10$. He said yes! So that part was really easy. (I thought it would be a pain) It is worth tipping the driver because you would otherwise have get rid of the crate which is large. Installation was pretty easy. The owner will "facetime" with you and walk you through everything. He is great! He kept in touch with me from the start of the purchase to the end. He is really nice. The window is high quality. Heavy duty!!!! The sound proofing is noticeable! There are two ways that you can mount the window. Inside your current window and outside the frame. We did an outside mount. I think the inside monuth would be prettier but we wanted to mount our blinds between the existing window and the soundproof window. We think it looks nice. You can still see the nails around the trim but I am going to cover them. Overall, great experience and I wish I had ordered it months ago! My child is sleeping anywhere from 30-60 mins more! yay!
Mailing List: My wife and I recently purchased a home near downtown Rockville, Maryland. We immediately noticed that the traffic from the street was louder than we anticipated and were looking for ways to reduce the noise. After doing some research we decided that putting in windows and a storm door from Soundproof Windows would help with the noise abatement and would be the best value. We were not disappointed. We purchased a total of 12 windows and one door over the course of 6 months. The windows and the door are solidly constructed, look good, were simple to install, and significantly reduced noise in our home.
Scott Randa: I have had these soundproof windows for almost 2 years. They have worked great. Almost all noises are now gone, and my bedroom is very quiet! Occasionally I’ll hear a police siren from a nearby highway, but it’s pretty faint. If there was an outdoor party next door (which the house next door is very close), all I’d have to do is put on a little white noise, and go right to sleep peacefully.I received the windows via a shipping company on a pallet in Charlotte, NC. It was very, very well packed and it was also easy to unpack and carry up the stairs. Installation was not bad, as instructions were included. After installation, I put some new trim around the window treatment, and then had blinds installed overtop all that. If the blinds are down, there’s no way you could tell that there was a soundproof window treatment overtop of the normal windows. It looks like a normal window, but the benefits of it being soundproof. Only if you bring the blinds up, can you tell there is a window treatment there. The reason why I chose this company is because I did not want to pay for a full rip and replace of my current windows which were perfectly functional, just didn’t provide much of a sound resistance. I looked into sound proofing the entire siding of my house, but I discovered most noise comes through the window. Turns out, that’s correct.Richard was great to work with, even when I called him for an installation question. He talked me through it. I recommend this company if you’re looking for some soundproofing.
E. Rexrode: Mass Soundproof is the real deal. They offer a solid, excellently crafted soundproof window at an affordable price, and their customer service is second to none. I am definitely going to work with them again! I am in central Virginia.
Ogi Ogas: We live in downtown Boston, near a busy intersection. The windows successfully blocked out most of the urban noise. Low vibration still passes through (such as the rumbling of trucks and buses), and the high edge of sirens gets through, but just about everything in between is eliminated. Delivery took longer than expected, but we are very pleased with the result.
Bob Bennett: We live on one of the busiest streets in Boston and the mix of horns, ambulances, motorcycles and loud traffic has been virtually silenced by Richard's excellent product and installation. Highly recommend!
Joseph Skinner: We live up in the northern mountains in Utah. We wanted sound proof windows to help reduce the street noise from our neighborhood since our house is on the only road leading in and out and we tend to get a lot of cars passing by. We also wanted better insulation, since our existing windows weren’t the best. Our experience with Sound Proof Windows has been great. Richard Mann was very helpful from the start. He helped me measure via FaceTime and answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. We had some delays with our order due to flooding (natural disaster) and Richard informed us frequently about the process and how our order was coming along. The windows arrived and we were able to install them with Richard’s help via FaceTime again. He was very accommodating to our schedules. He was always easy to reach. We are NOT “do it yourselfers” but were able to install 4 windows and a storm door with Richard’s instructions. We have noticed a difference in the noise outside. It isn’t gone, but is definitely less than it was before. Also we can tell a big difference in the temperature of the rooms. It is winter here and there is no cold draft coming from the windows that have sound proof windows installed. When I open them each morning to open the blinds (we installed them over our window covers) it is freezing in between the windows, but not cold at all in the room. I’m sure we will save a bundle on our heating bill.We did a flush mount on the the windows and they look really nice. The storm door is incredible quality! Definitely not your ordinary storm door. We have had so many compliments on it! It's been very nice to have.We are happy with our purchase and glad to have found Sound Proof Windows and Treatments.Thank you Richard!I would rate customer service 5 stars. Insulation 5 stars. Sound proofing 4 stars.M.S.
Crossover Media: We have a train pretty close to us with a crossing, which means, a very loud horn blowing that needed to be addressed. I reached out to Richard Mann, and was glad that I did. The windows he represented reduced the unwanted noise significantly taking care of at least 60% if not more of the sound. Not only do the windows do the job, they also look good with a very clean design. Richard is a no nonsense pro. His description of what we should expect was honest and accurate, and the ordering and receiving were about as painless as it gets. The install was also very straightforward. Richard provided excellent support, was responsive, returning phone calls and emails quickly, and had very good instructions and suggestions every step of the way. If you have noise issues, I highly recommend using Richard.Max Horowitz
Tony Smith: My experience with Richard was exceptional. We moved to a new home next to a county road, where cars go by at 60mph. I ordered and installed the windows from Richard. The whole process was easy and he stepped me through the whole way, from ordering, to receiving, to installation; very good instructions. I am a mechanical engineer, so I understand all of the science behind his windows and SPL's. I also am very picky when it comes to quality. The windows exceeded my expectations for look, fit, and function. Most Importantly: the road noise was reduced significantly! The windows also provide an upgrade to the home, reduce energy usage, and reduce pollen. I give the windows and Richard 5stars; and I look forward to ordering more windows for another part of the home.
Nancy Winkler: My husband and I live on Long Island, New York, and we recently purchased two custom soundproof windows for the second floor bedroom of our townhouse from Soundproof Windows. These windows have significantly reduced the outside noises (train whistle in the distance, cars driving by, air conditioning unit), which had become bothersome for us. They look very nice and are clearly of very good quality. Richard Mann was extremely professional and reliable throughout the process, always returning our phone calls in a very timely manner and patiently and willingly answering our many questions and clarifying the details of the process of measuring, ordering and installing the windows. One of the windows had been damaged during delivery, and Richard was very helpful in having a replacement sent to us soon after, at no additional cost to us. One measurement tip for those who will be ordering custom windows: We would suggest using the LARGEST measurements of the window space for height and width if there are slight differences.
John Russell: The Soundproof windows that are installed in our home are excellent and the best windows that we could find in the USA. The quality, workmanship and quietness are superior to any other brand. Richard Mann has been great to work with and we have had no issues or problems with the windows at all. We give our highest rating and you will be totally pleased dealing with Richard.
Judy Baxter: Excellent product, excellent Service. Richard Mann went the extra mile in finding me an installer and arranging for pickup and installation of the window. The window certainly makes a difference in sound. However the really noisy big snowplows have not been needed lately, so I don't know how well the window mitigates that.
Kent Schreiber: After using these windows for over 2 years, and reading some of the negative and positive reviews, this is what I've got to say: We live on a very busy corner with constant traffic--a real "test case" for such a thing. Bottom line is I believe the windows work OK. We still get considerable road noise, though not nearly as much as before, yet I believe a large portion of that current noise is from several sections in our wall that don't have the proper sound isolation. After initially installing the windows I was quite disappointed, as we still had lots of sound. So, the next step was to use "green glue" and sheet rock for more insulation on the walls, which helped considerably, but there was still lots of sound. I then complained and Richard came out to look at the situation. His conclusion, which I tend to agree with, is that most of our sound is coming through several places in the wall which were not reinforced with the green glue and sheet rock due to the existence of radiators. The windows were no longer the weakest link in the system. So, the soundproof windows do seem to work, as long as the windows are the weakest link in the system. If the walls or something else is the weaker link, sound comes through that, and it also must be addressed. If most of the noise is coming through the windows, then these windows will likely work well to address that problem. If the noise comes from elsewhere, then those issues need to be addressed. I did find that Richard was personable and helpful, especially at first. He did seem a bit defensive and frustrated with my complaints, but I feel that's somewhat natural as so many people likely expect these windows to be somewhat of a one stop "cure" to what can be a far more complex noise problem, with multiple issues which need addressing. The soundproof windows only address the window issue, not the walls or other issues, which may also be present, though I do suspect that typically most windows are the weakest link to begin with, and are the first issues which need addressing.

New England Soundproofing: what do users think?
Greg Gicas: I hired these guys to build sound proofing reverb panels for my laundry room. What an absolute world of difference they make cutting down the reverberation from the dryer. They were super easy to work with and made the panels in less than a week. They look great and perform excellent. Thank you!
Dave DelVecchio: We've worked with New England Soundproofing on three occasions and each time they've provided reasonable quotes for the scope of work, have installed in the time frame communicated, the outcome has been excellent, and they've generally been easy to deal with. I wish all vendors were as easy, actually. I've attached a phone of their most recent work
Francis Colantonio: NES worked with us to select the correct product and the correct fabric, they came out and measured on the day and time they said they would. A couple of weeks later they came out and installed, again they showed up on the day at the time they said they would. I highly recommend them.
BlvckVynlDC (STR): Very professional and knowledgeable consultants. Go to them for any sound issues, they have solutions for a wide variety of problems.
Jessica Pabon: We contracted New England Soundproofing to put sound panels in the childcare center I manage. Dylan and his team were very professional and worked quickly. The products were high quality and aesthetically pleasing. Echoing has been cut to none and the panels really help keep the sound in the designated space. Overall, we are very pleased with everything.
Freda Locker: I totally recommend New England Soundproofing. As a renter and musician, adding acoustic panels to my walls has greatlyImproved the reverb from a grand piano. The work was meticulously doneThe panels are qualityAnd the personnel are a pleasure to work with.Definitely call them.

Christine Ochsner: I can’t say enough about how good our experience has been with Henry Scopa home improvement. Guitar Center: what do users think?
DJ Matthew: I wanted to buy a speaker. I was able to hear it listen to a live before I bought it. The person helping me was very helpful. There's very little free parking but It's worth it to see all the products here all the products live before you buy it
Jose Mercedes Alvarez: Guitar Center una Empresa con artículos de primera calidad a precios sin competencia. En caso, sus servicios son una garantía a mi inversión.
Benjamin Wilson: Brought my beginner 12 y/o to the store and were happy with Glenno's service. Would definitely go back.
Marc Vidal: The Environment is not always ideal to try things ( as it can be pretty noisy). But the team was nice and I found several instruments there :)The second hand part of the store is nice to get good deals.
Frank Buckley: Great experience
Adam Gesuero: Glen-O took great care of my buddy and I on our recent trip to Fenway Guitar Center. We were there for hours trying out tons of axes, and he helped us out but was never pushy. Gave our guitars some fine-tuning, adjusted the necks and polished ‘em up nice. Ask for him when you go there.
Daniel Franklin: Awful customer service! Can't even respond to a complaint after giving the worst customer service in Boston. Don't even bother visiting.
Adam Harris: Great service, good prices, fun time for the family. Some people can be pushy.
Zeus Pedersen: Don’t shop at this location. The customer service is terrible with the exception of a couple employees. I brought my bass in to have brand new pickups installed: I was informed on the pickup day a week later that my bass required extra time and that I was being charged $45 extra for extra work they had to do. Upon getting it back, my bass produced little to no sound. I brought it back and after plugging it into multiple amps we got no results and I got no answers. I asked for at least a %50 refund and was refused and was then told they could take it back to fix it but they’d charge me full price. The store manager then said “sorry, i don’t know what to tell you.” I brought it to someone else & they had it fixed within 15 minutes. As a newer musician, I’m very discouraged from shopping at the place that’s supposed to be the go-to spot.
R Z: I would definitely recommend this location..I received not only great help in finding headphones but I also had a great guitar lesson
Parker Tichko: The scene: It is New Year's Eve Day, the final day of the year, and you're driving to Guitar Center to pick up a new digital piano for your son. You'd like him to start piano lessons this year. You find the back parking lot full, so you decide to idle in front of a garage door that says "DO NOT BLOCK" and "NO PARKING," after arranging for a contact-less pick-up. It should be quick, you think to yourself. You notify the store that you've arrived via email and the curbsy website. You wait 10 minutes. You wait some more. You check the curbsy website, and it doesn't seem to be loading correctly. Moreover, the chat feature, which allows you to "chat" with the store, doesn't seem to be working. You turn off the car and decide to walk into the store to get the digital piano you've ordered. You're greeted by the door, and an employee immediately finds your contact-less pick-up order. He sends another employee out back to pack the piano into your car. What service! You walk back outside, excited to be on your way for NYE, only to find that your car battery is dead. Your car won't start, and it is now blocking the "DO-NOT-BLOCK" garage door. Another Guitar Center employee, who parked inside the garage, opens the garage door to find your dead car blocking his exit. He is desperate to leave his shift to celebrate NYE. He's kind and helpful, and he offers to jump your car with his cable. He tries, but it doesn't work. You're about to throw your car into neutral and manually push it out of the way so he can leave and celebrate the new year. You begin to mentally prepare to call a tow truck, knowing there might be limited service on NYE and that it will likely cost you an arm and a leg. Suddenly, another Guitar Center employee arrives. He has a long, wirey beard, but his eyes seem kind. He offers to try jumping your car again, this time, using his jumper cables. You're skeptical, convinced that it might be a bad starter and not a dead battery. He connects both black ends of the cable to the negative terminals on the two batteries. You tell him that one of the black ends needs to be grounded. He says not to worry, that he does this thing all the time. It works. He's right. Shaken but relieved, you step out your car, unsure how to thank your Good Samaritans. Before you can say anything, he extends his hand and says "happy new year." You shake it. Dazed, you step back into your car and begin to drive to O'Reilly's auto-parts to purchase a new battery with a new digital piano stuffed in your trunk. As you drive off, you hear the distant sound of shredding neo-classical arpeggios coming from a squealing guitar. You imagine it's the employee with the long, wirey bead. You feel grateful. Five stars.
Luke Pynchon: Tried to buy a Maschine Plus here twice. The first time I bought it used, but there were some glitches so I had to return it. The second time, I ordered it new, which cost me a bit more. When I picked it up and arrived home, I realized that the "new" Maschine I had bought was in worse shape than the used one I returned previously; no SD card, missing accessories such as he headphone adapter. There was even melted chocolate on the inner packaging. I was told it was ordered from another warehouse. Clearly Guitar Center doesn't take the time to check and make sure you've received what you paid for when you order a new item. This item is hard to get, and Guitar Center wasted about two weeks of time that could've been put towards waiting for a competent retailer to deliver it. Ordered from Sweetwater who has already been much more helpful. If you're thinking of ordering a large - ticket from Guitar Center, stop right there. Go to Sweetwater instead. They actually know what they're doing. Guitar Center is great for low - ticket items though. If you need a place that can be trusted with selling you a box of cables and a guitar pick, go to Guitar Center, but I wouldn't trust them not to screw up purchases much larger than that
Edenilze Halluch: Show time. 2 foor of music and all you need for music
Diana Rodriguez-Quiles: brought my bass to trade it in for something else. at first the staff was nice, as soon as they saw my puertorrican ID they turned sour. started to say that my ID isn’t valid (which it is), and i painfully explained how the US owns Puerto Rico and they still wouldn’t get it. they finally agreed to give me money for it, undershot what the bass was worth, and eventually gave in to some negotiation. worst experience i’ve had with my ID, they also insisted that they had to take a picture of me for this process which i found very inappropriate considering everything that went down.
Patrick Scott Welsh (Pag): Me and Marty (what I named my Martin accoustic which I picked up here) are in love. We will never forget where we first met.
Nainil Maladkar: The place has a variety of options to chose from and has guitars of every type and price range.
K L: Bought a guitar cabinet from the online store, this store shipped it as “new” and when I called customer support they argued it’s ok because it’s “like new” and still playable, at least to their standards. I paid full price for a new cab, not a display model that are currently listed on the site for 2/3s the price. There is literally nothing Guitar Center could do at this point to ever get my business again after all the bad experiences I’ve had.
Donovan Jermyn: I mean it's okay. When you go in to just browse the sales team will hound you and then when you have money and need to buy something, they all disappear. Literally took an hour to buy two pedals.
Hendrik Gideonse: I made an appointment the day before to check out acoustic bass guitars. The guy on the phone was very nice and put some instruments together in the store for me. I came in to check out the instruments and the instruments weren't in very good shape. The strings on the instruments were old and oxidized even on the 'new' instruments. I figured, it's been a long pandemic, probably not a lot of people buying instruments in person. All of the necks were way out of adjustment with much more neck relief than was correct. All of the instruments intonated sharp as you went up the neck because the strings were too high. I basically was bending the strings sharp just fretting notes. There was one instrument that I liked the sound of, but the neck needed to be adjusted so I could check the intonation. I went over to the repair office and asked if he would adjust the truss rod. The guy said he was too busy to adjust the neck today. He clearly viewed me as an annoyance. He definitely didn't want to help me out. It takes about a minute to do the adjustment. Turning a wrench, maybe a third to a half turn. I asked if I could use the 5mm wrench to do it myself. Again no. This was more expected because he doesn't know me, but I had hoped that it would encourage him to help me out. He was not in the middle of a re-fret or a bridge reglue, but playing an instrument, maybe checking a set up. To me the customer in the store is the priority. It was really disappointing and a waste of my time. I know why this happened. The repair guy has no incentive to help sell an instrument. He probably is getting pressure to do more work than is reasonable. The store didn't have any sales folks on the floor because business is slow these days. But I literally had $1000 in cash to buy an instrument and couldn't get help to buy one. So I went home and ordered a bass off eBay. Now I am spending the afternoon cutting a new bone nut and saddle. If you aren't getting help from humans in the store, brick and mortar is gonna die.
William Boxx: I found the MIDI cable i needed!
Wazir Gray: James and Kemit were awesome! Highly recommend this location

Felt like we were "part of the neighborhood" with short walks to great restaurants, bars and coffee shop. short and easy walk to Copely and Newbury areas. Quiet rooms and quiet common areas made us feel like we were the only guest in the location. location, location location and a great brownstone and comfortable quiet rooms makes this hotel a unique and memorable place to stay in boston. will definitely book again.Nearby activities: short walks to newbury and copelyWalkability: easy to walk to many attractions in bostonFood & drinks: great local pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, all part of the neighborhood fabric
Laura D: This weekend marked my 5th time staying at Clarendon over the years! There’s simply nowhere like it in the city. The rooftop jacuzzi and its unreal views create an unmatched experience, the location on a charming street in the beautiful South End is wonderful with excellent restaurants nearby, and the brownstone setting is lovely with well-maintained and comfortable rooms to boot. Looking forward to our next stay already. Many thanks for a great visit!
Alison Connelly: A 2 night birthday weekend in Boston spent at the Clarendon was superb! From the complimentary b-day cake and bottle of champagne to the beautifully decorated and good size bedroom, it was a wonderful experience. The street is beautiful, very quiet and a quick walk to everything. My only hesitation, and this was my issue not theirs, was the stairs. Like all beautiful old building there was not an elevator that I could see. My over 50, arthritic hip found the stairs a challenge. But once up in the room it was heaven.
Liz Sanderson: Please choose Clarendon Sq. Stephen’s approachable, accommodating spirit encouraged me: sr solo female traveler on first visit to Boston’s south end. For sure will book again.
Jennifer Tabb: Wonderful stay!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Adam Clark: Everything was as expected and mostly above expectations from reading through the website and other reviews. Great location for a walk or cheap ride to all the main sites in the city. We met Stephen at the property where he was gracious and informative offering ideas and locations to fill any time we had in our weekend schedule. We will 100% be staying at the Clarendon again, it's almost like staying at your own or a family members flat on the edge of the city.
Dorothy Glover: Comfortable bed, amazing shower, hot tub was the perfect temperature, easy check in. Would highly recommend!Do keep in mind there’s lots of stairs, so if you don’t want to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs don’t stay here. Will definitely be back!
Lee Rubin: Rooms: Clean and high quality. Better than what youd get at a regular chain. Owner is very nice. There are.Stairs to get to room though so not great for those with mobility issues. Doesn't actually have breakfast minus some oatmeal available. Parking lot is biggest disadvantage. It's a bit far (7 minute walk with luggage in the cold is rough) so best for people who are packing light. And it's sketchy to park there at night so best drop all baggage and park during the day!
Hannah Johnston: Truly a gem of a bed and breakfast! So much charm and in the most convenient spot. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Leland Zak: Stephan is very approachable, super accommodating, friendly, fair, and nice. Winnie does an excellent job at keeping the entire space presentable, clean and safe. The rooms are perfect, the location is easy, parking is easy, the price is affordable, and the list goes on. We will be going back and highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Linda Behnke: Great location as well as a beautiful setting. Steven was very helpful on things to do and places to eat. The tips from their guide were amazingly spot on for recommendations for restaurants.Room and entire building were so clean and comfortable.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lisa Strickland: Looking for an exquisitely appointed room on a quiet, beautiful street in Boston within steps of all that Back Bay has to offer? That's exactly what we found in Clarendon Square B&B. Our host was exceedingly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Every touch in the room, from fresh flowers to Molton Brown toiletries to down pillows, was designed to make us feel pampered and rested, even after a long day working or touring the city. Each detail reflected the love the owners have for their beautiful home and the interest they have in providing a great experience for their guests. We hope to stay there again when we return to Boston.
HCP VIDEO: Immaculate venue! Great communication and directions. The roof top hot tub is a dream! First time to Boston and if I am ever this way again for sure I’ll be checking this out first!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jinny Park: Great Boston neighborhood and the place was really clean and well done.We loved it! Thank you :)
Aude Serra: This is a beautiful property, very classy and with a lot of style. It's located in quiet neighborhood.Stephen (our host) was very welcoming. Thank you for the little attentions, it was a real pleasure. The rooftop hot tub was great.Loved it and for sure we would stay there again.Would highly recommand Clarendon Square Inn.
Natalie Packer: We have just returned from a 6 night stay in Clarendon Square - this is one beautiful property! The bedrooms and lounge area (for guests to use) are beautifully styled and very classy. Stephen was an excellent, very welcoming host and was very helpful with providing recommendations for places to visit, restaurants to eat in etc. The rooftop hot tub was great. One of the things that really makes your stay here are the little touches including luxury toiletries, flowers and cookies. It is in a really nice part of town and not too far to walk into the main part of Boston. Would highly recommend Clarendon Square Inn.
GILOU: Excellent accueil de Stephen. B&B idéalement placé dans un quartier très agréable. A recommander sans hésiter !
John C: We really enjoyed our stay at Clarendon Inn! My husband and I celebrated our twentieth anniversary in Boston and chose it because of the romance factor. It’s not a bed and breakfast, however, they do set out some snacks each day and offer a great coffee set up in your room. They also offer a good list of close-by food options. The room was beautiful! The hot tub was unforgettable! The host was really nice and knowledgeable. I would say if you have mobility issues this might not be the best for you as far as lots of steps.
Michael Rogers: In town for work and wanted an out of the experience in a central location near amazing restaurants. Clarendon Square is beautifully appointed on a quiet quintessential Boston street and super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!

Guitar Center: what do users think?
Daylis Alonzo: Muy buenos y muy amables sus empleados..
Santo Ramirez: Exelente Servicio, Precios bajos..!
Alex K: The worst experience.I asked them to lower the strings on my acoustic guitar. They charged me for a platinum setup which includes new strings but instead they used my own string without asking my permission. They did not lower the strings, and its "platinum" setup took five days.
Champ: Synthesizers
Carolyn Willander: Went in and asked for a mic stand. Very clearly did not know my way around this stuff since I walked right to the counter when I came in and asked for help. Got home and learned it didn’t come with a clip for the mic. Good service would have asked if I needed it.
Jessica Luo: This place makes me want to shop at sweetwater
Samantha Em: Helpful and patient
Caroline: The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when we were picking out my son's first guitar. We will defiantly be back!!!
Scott McDiarmid: Great shop. Lots of inventory and helpful staff.
Stephanie Joseph: super helpful and informative employees. i walked in and was immediately greeted and assisted. i was on the hunt for something my partner needed and i had no idea what to look for. the employees grabbed it and told me about their replacement policy in case my item broke they would replace it. which is amazing!!! you can tell everyone working actually enjoys their job here and it’s refreshing to see. especially these days.
Cesar Garcia: Staff is great, but the variety of instruments and accessories is low compared to any other guitar center. Because is closed to college, most guitars have a lock and you must leave you credit card on the counter if you have to test a pedal. I didn't like the experience, again, compared to other guitar center I have visited.
Alp Arhan Uguray: Worst possible experience at this store. People are smoked high out of their minds at this shop. You’d spend hundreds of dollars of money on equipment and the customer experience you get is same as picking up a product from trash. My recommendation is to visit Boylston store for anybody out there, looking to purchase music equipment.Additionally, they lose equipment. I gave my guitar for repair before Covid and after Covid hit the said they lost it. Since everyone is high, they do not remember much what happened and who picked up the equipment. I am sorry to say this but avoid this store unless you are 8 years old and starting to play the flute to play jingle bells only
Elizabeth McIlroy: Super friendly staff that will help you feel comfortable and have everything that you need! Thanks for the help!
Sávio Júnior: Great staff...very smoothly guys!
Stephen Parnell: Wednesday, July 6th at Boston Guitar Center at about 12:30-12:45PM - you had a very talented person working at the Guitar Center. He had a Martin guitar that he was working on. I was wondering how much that Particular Martin guitar was. He was doing such a beautiful job with that guitar. He worked diligently on it as well as. I’d love to know his name or how much the cost of the guitar was?
Tristan DeCelles: Decent outlet, but small. Has stocked your basic/ and or general merchandise. So its not a bad stop to resupply on sticks if you're a drummer (drummah) like me or strings or picks if you're a guitar boss. It's a small store and I must admit the drum section is pitiful. Not much there. If you're looking to fool around in a drum section go to the Fenway store it has much more sample/display drums. Again, not a bad store since from what I could tell from my single visit the staff were agreeable and chill.
Gary Luongo: Max was very helpful with my questions and purchase. Thanks, Gary aka Louie Spats 😎
Kelvin Lewis: Very informative personal..
Matt: Love Guitar Center for the most part. As far as the pro coverage is concerned I am very disappointed. The salesman told me they would replace broken gear (in my case headphones) on the spot without a receipt. The day came where my headphones that I bought last year needed to be replaced. I brought them into the same store. Things did not go as the salesman from last year described. I was told to contact the insurance company to make a claim, who asked me for a receipt. Very disappointed with this one particular salesperson.
bzon66 .LoveDad06: Great place to shop And very nice customer service.

The Envoy Hotel, Autograph Collection: what do users think?
Harvey Coles: Walkability: Parking garage was convient to hotel.Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …More
Miguel Londono: I have stayed at this property a handful of occasions and the quality and service have deteriorated recently. The rooms are tired, with chipped furnishings and stained carpets. Worse, however, is the service. The staff does not make you feel like a welcomed guest - they are not personable and even sometimes rude. This property is too expensive, and there are too many better options in Boston, to return.
Vidura Stich: This is the place to stay to enjoy the downtown experience in Boston. Close to public transit, and easy walking distance to numerous historic sites. The rooms are super modern and relaxing.I recommend staying here for a great visit. No car needed!
D K: The proximity to many attractions, restaurants, bars and cool spots, the rooftop😍 and the creative design made my vacation unforgettable. Thanks!P.S. This is👇
Jessica Ingroff: Nice hotel, great water view and conveniently located within walking distance to the shops in Newbury. We would stay there again. Thanks Boston for a great vacay!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
ghost Oni: Paid about $400 per day, stayed for about a week, forgot a little bag, called the hotel, and was told that they found NOTHING in the lost and found. That's GOOD. This is the hotel where I paid nearly $400 per day. You DO DESERVE this 1 star.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Dan Sawh: I would highly recommend staying the the Envoy! I stayed there in January and last summer. The hotel is modern yet warm. The location is in the amazing and upcoming Seaport neighborhood and with great views from the rooms and the Rooftop lounge! The restaurant is Michelin-level in my opinion with amazing food and drinks and great atmosphere. I must thank the manager, Michael Pittman, for his attentiveness to the needs of our large group. He is simply, top notch! I thank Michael and his entire team for two amazing stays.....looking to stay again when I am back in the Boston area.Rooms: The rooms are modern yet warm. Great views!Safety: The hotel and neighborhood is incredibly safeWalkability: Great location and so much to do around the areaFood & drinks: The restaurant is Michelin-level. Great food options including for vegetarians. Top-notch service! The drinks and food at the roof-top lounge is amazing!Noteworthy details: The service is top-notch. The manager, Michael Pittman, and his entire team are the best! This hotel is also pet-friendly,
Thomas Gofton: A bit posh in that it doesn't have all the amenities you'd expect in a hotel. Like a small drink or snack bar with all the essentials to grab and go at night.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Stephanie Porter: Interesting hotel - nice rooms, unique layout, medium service... but I was very sick from the room service food. Glad I didn't entirely finish it.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Gustavo Amador: Will come again for sure. The restaurant is highly commended.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lolita L: Great location and the view from the rooftop is great!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chris Rupprecht: Creative design, but maybe went to far to be quirky and now just looks dated, furnishings look and feel like cheap imitations (the place looks like a warfare showroom. The rooms are loud (you'll hear the neighbors, you'll hear the upstairs bar, you'll hear the street. Beds aren't great (mattresses make it feel like you're on a futon or pull out). "Full waterview" is the fort point channel and the barking crab....I'd prefer the city. For the price, if you want this location, stay at the Intercontinental.
Angela Laxson: Great unique hotel on the water. Easy to get around Boston from here. Love the rooms, beds were comfortable. The showers are AMAZING. Would definitely stay here again. I did stay here with children and felt like they were child friendly (my kids were 5 and up).Oh, also ate breakfast there twice and it was very very good with hearty portions.
Devin C.: The view was nice, but the room was much smaller than it looked in pictures (Partial Water View King). To make matters worse, the strange bicycle tv stand had a 2'x2' 3/8" thick steel plate underneath one side that I stubbed my toe on so hard I bled. I was limping a little for a day or so, and I won't be surprised if I lose a toenail. It's right at the narrow foot of the bed (in the only 1.5' of walking room at the end of the bed) and was painted to match the floor. Don't put heavy thick steel plates right where people will be walking!
Freeland Woodworks: My wife and I stay here a few times a year. It's our, home away from home. We have stayed at a lot of hotels in the area and Envoy is 100% the best hotel we have stayed at.This weekend was unbelievable thanks to Donia and Janelle for making it unforgettable and being so friendly and accommodating. We might even stay another night..
