Russian School of Mathematics - Milton: what do users think?
Ku Ethan: Omg this school is so good 100% sign up 10/10 recommend. SIKE it’s actually the total opposite of what I said. My boy King lawz and Gorilla Hackto knows.
Rana El Kaliouby: My son has been doing RSM Milton for the last 5 years (since first grade). This spring he was named “Math Ambassador ” of the year at his school and credit goes to RSM. RSM has helped him develop a love for math and confidence as a mathematician . The RSM milton team is soooo committed - they were able to pivot so quickly in the face of uncertainty and a pandemic. Indeed, we have a running joke in our family: even when the world feels like it’s coming to an end, RSM classes will be going strong. Thank you RSM milton 🙏
Colleen Woods: RSM was a life saver during the Covid spring. All three of my kids were in the program and while school didn't have consistent work during the spring, I was confident that they learned a lot at RSM. The teachers are experienced and can control a room in-person or remote. We are glad to be back for the fall to help make sure our kids continue learning and growing their math skills.
Alketa Zerva: Positive:ProfessionalismWonderful school. The teachers are experienced and knowledgeable. Great opportunity to improve or advance your child's knowledge of mathematics. RSM did an amazing transition to remote learning classes.
Valerie Molchanova: Positive:Professionalism,QualityPrinciple is passionate about children’s success and has been teaching and coaching children for several decades. Highly recommend.
V. B.: My daughter has been a student at Milton RSM for 3 years now. As a parent I have nothing but positive things to say about the school, teachers, curriculum and overall administration.Kids are always taught at the highest levels and given the utmost respect. There was always extra help available when we felt that our child needed it.Thank you RSM!!!
Dominique Dang: RSM promises challenging math and opportunities to learn in an advanced setting - and it definitely lives up to that! The math is fun, different, and applicable to the SATs and real life.
Jo Ly: If I could give a zero star I would. The lady at the school was extremely rude and nasty to me. I don’t understand how can she talk to someone like that. I would never send my child there.
J.T Tran: Russian School of Mathematics is the BEST. It was recommended by lots of MIT professor. My son and daughter getting smarter everyday because of Russian School of Mathematics
Sofya Nadelstein: This is the most amazing program that did wonders for my boys! The instructors' strength in pin pointing the weak spots was exactly what our public school was not able to deliver. Both of my children are now in college and they are well prepared for the work load. RSM helped them manage their time and increase their SAT scores last year. I have nothing but the highest regard for the disciplined, consistent and caring approach of the director and staff. Thank you!
John Babson: RSM has done wonders for my two boy’s confidence in math.  They have been in the program for 4 years. They have been doing well in math at school and have done very well on standardized math tests. We attribute much of their success to the confidence and interest they have developed for math at RSM.
king lawz: I would give this a zero if i could. The teacher gives too much homework and only care about the money. DONT SEND YOU CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL, you are better off saving the money.
Mikaela Hoxhalli: I would give it a 0 if i could. I totally agree with Darth’s review. Don’t waste your money. Teachers are rude and care more about the money than the knowledge of the kids. Do yourself a favor and hire a private tutor better. The concept is great its great math program but teachers like i said they care for money only.
Gorilla Hackto: i’d give it 0 stars if I could. Please do not sign your child up for this torture. The teacher are mean and very strict. When they teach they only yell at the whiteboard. Example: Here’s a homework quiz... oh I forgot you have another quiz after today’s lesson. 2 and a half hours later..... Ok you will now have 3 hours homework! Bye bit****. Please do not sign your kid up. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME STUDENT LIVES MATTER! STUDENT LIVES MATTER! STUDENT LIVES MATTER!

Live Lingua: what do users think?
Erin G: I started about a month ago and bought the unlimited classes for a year. I have two teachers, and I have no problem scheduling as many hours as I want per week. The instructors and the administration are VERY responsive and punctual. They also fit you with instructors who have a specialty in what your goals are. I recommend this school to anyone who wants to advance their spanish.
Bridgette Holley: I had a wonderful experience using Live Lengua to brush up on Spanish I learned in high school and college. Having had the experience of studying abroad, I can attest that immersion is the best way to learn a language and Live Lengua is the next best thing. I greatly appreciated my wonderful tutor, customer service, and the easy to use scheduling platform.
Shannon Dell: I'm absolutely loving my Spanish lessons with Live Lingua! For someone who travels full time, I was worried about how I would manage to stay on top of my Spanish learning. But with the flexibility of classes, taking lessons has been super convenient. While language apps can be nice, being able to learn with a real teacher has worlds of benefits. I feel that immersion really is the best way to learn a language, and it's so cool that Live Lingua brings the immersive lessons to you, whenever and wherever!

Rola Languages: what do users think?
danny stone: I just finished a course in level 2 Spanish. The course was great and so was the teacher — I highly recommend!
Jacqueline Disch: Rola works with our school district and I had a wonderful experience taking Spanish for educators!
Rachel M: Rola Languages is such a gem! I have been enjoying my French classes very much (read: I love going to class each week because they are fun and I'm learning so much!), and Gina Marie is an excellent teacher. I love the classes and the opportunity to speak, hear, and converse in French - something language apps can't really offer you. To be honest, in level 1, I knew much of what we were learning, as I have attempted teaching myself French in the past and have picked up some basics. However, with the way Gina Marie teaches, I felt like I was enriching my limited knowledge in class - I was never bored, she made learning fun, and I even learned some new things as we went along, which was fantastic. I truly did not feel like I was repeating what I already knew while I was in class, I felt as if I was practicing to get better. Now I have moved onto Level 2 and it is equally as great. Thank goodness for Rola's online classes - I couldn't be happier that I am finally achieving my goal to learn French!
Simo Arredouani: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI would highly recommend Rola Languages to anyone who wishes to get on the path to polyglotism, or just improve their language skills. Very professional and experienced staff. Small class structure. Also a great opportunity to make new friends.
Gabrielle Rameriz: Positive:QualityBeen taking Spanish on and off with Rola for years, have always loved their teachers, commitment, and communication. Also when in person classes open again, it’s nice that they’re directly next to one of the best bagel places in Cambridge.
Angela Spignese: Professional, fun and great value. Would highly recommend to beginner or advanced language learners!
Joanie Weaver: Positive:Quality,ValueI’ve taken Intro 1-3 in Spanish with Rola and would recommend. I particularly enjoyed the intensive 10 day Intro 1 Spanish which had 1 hour of class per day each weekday for 2 weeks. While a bigger time commitment, it made learning and practicing so much easier to have class daily. Would recommend checking out their group classes!
william carter: Having studies with other programs in the area and ; therefore, being able to have a Real Comparison, I recommend Rola Languages. I feel that I LEARN. No fluff, no attitude , pure positive experience. The texts have been methodically thought out and planned to re-enforce the lessons. (As a former educator, they are excellent text, point on task.Administration and teachers support their students 100% for success.I can say they are AWESOME to work with.If you are serious to learn a foreign language quickly and with confidence;again, I highly recommend!
Walker Bristol: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Ali Eddy: Rola is great, one of the most affordable language schools in the area. I have taken french with them for the last year. I've never had a class with more than 6 people which is great. I have had the opportunity to get to know the other student's teacher and makes for a really fun learning environment where students can choose what we are most interested in learning and focusing on, and also creates a safe learning environment where people are not scared to mess up which is so important in learning a language!
Bethany Queior: Positive:Communication,QualityI've been taking French classes at RoLa for at least the last six years. I enjoy the small informal classes, the chance to meet new students, and the interesting teachers from all kinds of backgrounds and experiences. It's miles away from traditional classroom teaching and much more like spending time with friends.
Samaneh Mesbahi: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Vitor Keller: I have been taking Portuguese classes here for two years and am so happy with the experience. The teachers are all very caring and knowledgeable. They have encouraged me when I felt my progress was slow and wanted to quit. I was so happy that I continued with their support because I am now able to communicate and understand a new language. Learning new things is not easy but with persistence, patience, and good coaches it is possible. Also, the location is very convenient, right in Porter Square, and I never had a problem parking at a meter close by the school.
Nikki Mincheva: I've been taking Spanish at Rola for a few years now. I started with their in-person group classes and later continued with their private online tutoring. I was amazed how well the online tutoring worked for me. The cost difference is not significant and you get to enjoy a one-on-one with your dedicated teacher. Everything in the class is catered to your style and speed of learning. It's an amazing value and I highly recommend it. Rola also has this family feel to it, everyone is very sweet and helpful. A very special shout-out to my adorable profesora--Almu!
Thomas Honnet: Depuis 2 ans, je prends des cours avec Erica qui est devenue une amie, et je travaille désormais en anglais, à l'international, alors que j'avais des difficultés à m'exprimer à l'oral. Merci ! :)
Chelsea Chin: I am so happy I found ROLA. I studied abroad in Spain and have been looking for a fun and affordable way to relearn the language. After multiple sessions with different teachers at RoLa, I have quickly improved my reading, writing and speaking abilities and look forward to my class each week. The teachers and students in the classes have all been great. Highly recommend RoLa!
Samantha Carter: I have been a student at RoLa for over a year and have taken classes in-person and virtually. I've absolutely loved the way that RoLa structures its classes. When I reached out to do a placement test, Erica helped coordinate one right away, and I spoke with the Portuguese teacher within a week. I was placed in the advanced level, which is mostly conversation with very helpful guidance from the teacher in the room/on the call. The teachers are very open to our suggestions, but also proactive in suggesting specific topics or vocabulary for us to work on as a group. I'd recommend RoLa to anyone looking to work on a Romance language - you'll learn and make some friends!
Carol: RoLa Languages is a gem of a school and community resource! It is small, intimate, and truly cares about its students. The staff have taken great care to create a community of learners that adds to the warmth and camaraderie of the school--enhancing the learning & cultural experience for everyone!
Caitlin Hemdal: I began Rola a little under a year ago to learn Spanish. I knew some basic vocabulary and phrases, but knew almost nothing about grammar, conjugations or written Spanish. In less than a year, the wonderful staff at Rola has dramatically improved both my writing and speaking. The small class sizes allow for a lot of individual attention; I now feel quite comfortable speaking with Spanish-speaking friends. Once I’ve finished Spanish I’ve even considered coming back to brush up on my French! I cannot recommend Rola enough!
Nancy Barcelo: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI have had a wonderful experience at Rola. The classes are small and the progression of the lessons are really helpful. I highly recommend Rola when wanting to learn a language as a beginner and as one advances.
Catherine Reilly: Both my children have been taking Spanish classes at Rola for a year now. Initially they took classes in person and now they have been doing them online. Their teacher has been really good at motivating them and finding exercises that are appropriate for their level. We have been very happy with our experience and both our kids have made significant progress with their Spanish.

Alma Mater: what do users think?
Anton Sinitskiy: Логопедические индивидуальные занятия с Аней И. прошли замечательно! Мы научились произносить Р за несколько посещений. От занятий с ней остались самые лучшие впечатления.

Boston Area Spanish Exchange: what do users think?
Jessie Colbert: We have been working with Soheila Ayouboff at BASE for several years and she is an absolutely excellent Arabic teacher. She works with our middle school son and makes the learning inspiring, relevant, and fun. He is excited for the lessons and now has excellent Arabic writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. Soheila is a total joy to work with and we cannot recommend her more highly! BASE has also been easy to work with and coordinate the lessons with Soheila.
Julia: I took two intensive classes at BASE, the most recent one via Zoom with Elaine. I like that the classes are more conversationally driven, especially the fact that homework was designed to incorporate both grammar practice and preparation for conversation during the next class. Because we each had a lot of leeway over the conversation material we prepared for each class, the class discussions felt organic and interesting, like chatting with a group of new friends over drinks. I also gained a ton of useful vocabulary needed for day to day conversations, as opposed to what is covered in textbooks. Elaine did a really great job fostering a comfortable environment to chat in Spanish without being afraid to make mistakes, and gently drawing out the shy ones from their shell. The classes were a fun way to shake up an otherwise monotonous daily routine during social distancing, and my Spanish SO says my speaking has improved significantly after I finished the last course period. I’ve also interacted with the owners, Bill and Lorena, for logistics and when they've substituted for classes, and they are both great to work with.
Sarah: I really appreciate how communicative and friendly the staff is here. The classes are a fair price, and the Arabic teachers are very committed. However, as someone who has taken many language classes, I feel the pedagogy is not modern or effective. The teachers push speed, correctness, and content over letting the students speak and make mistakes.
cristina rodrigues: I have loved my experience at BASE and learned SO much. I walked in with basically no Spanish and am now conversational. It was important that from the very first class we were being taught in Spanish and we were getting to know each other in Spanish. I learned so much more quickly because of that. You get into a rhythm there. The teachers are full of energy, warmth and knowledge. Regardless of your level, they make you feel comfortable speaking in Spanish, making mistakes and learning out loud. We discussed all kinds of interesting topics in class. The teachers are also very generous responding to email questions outside of class time. As a school they understand that sometimes scheduling conflicts are inevitable so they will let you make up classes you miss. Its also been wonderful meeting other people interested in learning Spanish, traveling and community building - people with interesting stories of their own. I have made friends who have increased my motivation to go back. And the location is amazing - right outside of Downtown Crossing. I enthusiastically recommend BASE!
Brahm Gartner: BASE is a truly wonderful language school with truly wonderful people behind it. I first heard about them through the Boston Calendar at the start of the year, and since then have been participating in a variety of events that they've hosted in person and online. Great people, great vibes, fostering community through language and cultural exchange.
Ky Lea Gerbush: If you are looking for an amazing place to learn Spanish, and a community full of great people, BASE is it. My husband and I started taking Spanish lessons at BASE last semester and we could not be more impressed. First, their rates are so reasonable, literaly the most affordable place for high quality Spanish lessons! Second, the instructors are INCREDABLE. We had Luis for Basico A, and he was just so great. The classes are small, he takes tons of time to answer questions and give one on one attention to students. He also gets you speaking from day one. Third, they are really building a community at BASE. There are game nights, Spanish speaking lunchs, really just anything to bring people together and speaking spanish. Finally, they are the most understanding and personalized business. We had signed up to take Basico B, and were all preped to take it online because of social distancing, but then we needed to drop out of the class in order to travel to take care of some family. BASE was so understanding and kind. They are allowing up to take the class next semester, even though the semester had already started. If you are even considering taking a class with BASE, GO FOR IT, you will not regret it.
Emma S: I loved taking Spanish lessons at BASE. Everyone was so friendly and I had some great teachers! Elaine and Luis were fantastic.
Danielle W: I am now on my second course with BASE and I am so happy with the program! I will definitely continue to sign up for classes in the future. Elaine is a wonderful spanish teacher and it seems like the other teachers are great too!
Jessica Fujimori: I've taken Spanish, Arabic, and Farsi (Persian) classes here and had great experiences in all! The prices cannot be beat (truly incredible value for language classes in Boston) and the teachers are warm, welcoming, and skilled. Great community for language learners of all levels.
Benny Losordo: I studied Spanish at BASE one night a week for about two years. I learned a ton and had a great time! Highly recommended!
Eric Dorenzo: I very rarely write reviews, but considering how happy I am with my choice to come to BASE for my first few Spanish courses, I wanted to put it out there for others! So far I have take two courses, covering 4 total levels (Basic A-C and Intermediate A). They also offer less intensive classes as well as private and semi-private options as well, but considering I was looking for conversational practice I chose the group option. Bill (the director/owner of the program with his wife) and all of the teachers are friendly, attentive, and do their best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. This school is also located in the heart of Downtown Crossing, which made it super convenient and was among the most reasonably priced options out there (including the Centers for Adult Ed.).At first I was apprehensive to start with classes, as this is more of an "exchange", as the name implies, and has a fairly informal office space setting. However, my worries were immediately set aside when I met Bill and my teacher, Elaine. From day one I felt confident that I was in good hands. She was always engaged and focused with myself and other students, catering to the varying experience levels in my class so as not to leave anyone behind or bore anyone. While the curriculum is set by the course level, she kept the class fresh and was consistently challenging us with homework and in-class conversation sessions. I also took a few make-ups with another teacher, Ricardo, who had his own style of teaching but was equally engaged and concerned with his students' progress.Overall, I feel I gained a lot from my time so far (~14 weeks), going from someone with a very basic comprehension level and non-existent speaking skill, to a much more confident and capable reader, listener and speaker. While I still have a long ways to go, I am happy in particular with the confidence Bill and his team have built in my abilities!
Varun Agrawal: I never made it past the unhelpful receptionist who gave one word answers to everything , and then made me feel stupid for asking about their methods and objectives. Learning a language requires patience from both the students and the teachers, and an attitude of making a prospective student feel silly for asking questions is a big red flag.
Antje Duvekot: Amazing! So great. They make language learning super fun and engaging. Every teacher I've had there so far has been extraordinary! I suspect this is not coincidence, but rather because they only hire the best!
Perry Carrison: Best language school, best methods of teaching in Boston.
Christian Ternus: Absolutely fantastic. I'm taking Básico A/B Semi-intensivo and loving every minute of it -- truly remarkable for an evening class after a long day of work!I feel comfortable constructing Spanish sentences after only five classes. The immersive format makes class a real brain workout -- Profesora Calderon starts speaking Spanish from the first minute of the first class, and you're expected to keep up. She keeps our class's attention, mixing just the right amount of essential cultural info and engaging stories with the instruction. It helps that "los profesors Bill y Lorena" are truly wonderful people -- kind, outgoing, bright, and charismatic. To top it all off, it's convenient. The building is close to the Park Street T stop -- less than two minutes away.In short, I can't imagine a better place to study Spanish. Sign up for a class -- you'll be glad you did. Hasta luego!

Russian School of Mathematics - Brookline: what do users think?
Liam Kwintner: I recently had a disappointing experience with this math extracurricular school. The teachers here seem to have a tendency to talk excessively, which can be distracting and counterproductive for students. Additionally, the frequency of tests is overwhelming, and it feels like students are constantly being assessed rather than given the opportunity to truly learn and grow. If you're looking for an extracurricular that will provide a positive and effective learning experience, I suggest exploring other options.
ali: Don't know why no zero stars, bad school, bad teachers, chaotic management, not recommending to any parents, teaching without any logic, just waste of money here
Dimitry Mikhail Smirnov: Really recommend this place
P Rose: While waiting for my child near the end of class I asked to used the restroom. The woman at the front desk stated restrooms were only for students. I then asked if she could go get my child so I could leave and search for a restroom somewhere else. I did not want to run the risk of not being on time to pick up my child. She refused to go get my child and suggested that I go to the restaurant next door because it had a public restroom. I walked over to the restaurant and when I asked to use the restroom they were appalled that they were recommended for this purpose. They only allowed restrooms for paying customers. For $1200 and after traveling across town I would expect that RSM could make an emergency exception just out of courtesy. However that was not the case. I am thankful that the restaurant understood my frustration and was willing to allow me to use their restroom without having to pay for it. Not only was I embarrassed but was completely mortified that RSM could be so callous. This was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. As as a fellow business owner I would never treat my clients in such a manner.
Slavik Kurnosenkov: I do not see any proper methodology at this school.
Maria Dubinskaya: I like RSM Curriculum and approach. Sometimes I hear that teachers are too strict here comparing to public school, but I would say that RSM teachers are more demanding because they do care about results of my kids. And I see that hard work of my kids pays back with their confidence. I truly appreciate everything my kids learn at RSM because it goes beyond Math: they learn how to set high goals and work for the result, they learn how to be persistent. And it is so important to be surrounded by smart peers! Thank you, RSM
Rick W: Absolutely outstanding faculty and math curriculum. Faculty as well as administrators and support staff are friendly, listen well and will work well with both students (and parents when necessary). I believe that the RSM math program prepares your student for high school, the SAT and college math. RSM is an excellent adjunct to regular school math programs.
Lucas Amaral: I attend the school, it is great! The teachers are super nice and friendly, I highly recommend
Yana Khalina-Stackpole: excellent and supportive environment to encourage creativity and thinking, wonderful teachers, fun homework. Highly recommend.

Language International: what do users think?
Gábor Halmai: I did a one-week Arabic course in Morocco and had a delightful, enriching and well-organized experience coupled with a super welcoming stay at Moroccan family's home. Highly recommended.
Guðný Margrét Hjaltadóttir: Overall great experience with Language International. I spent 2 weeks in a great school in Marbella and I think I will also book my next language course with LI. I was in contact with Iliana and she always responded quickly.
peyman blumstengel: I am very pleased with the support of the team to accommodate my special circumstances , being on biz trip, not flexible in timing and for the team to find the right school and teachers to match my needs and enabling me to take Portuguese lesson in lisbon close to my place where i stayed. Thank you.
Laura Glentemose: I have used them twice. When I had issues with the first school they helped. Second school everything good. Overall good experience
Andy H: I booked a French language course in Bordeaux and Italian in Sanremo for my recent holiday, through Language International. The only problem I had was that there were so many options. Both schools were excellent, as advertised and both were ready for my arrival. The responsiveness from Iliana at Language International was very good and there were plenty of options for course lengths and inclusions.I definitely recommend them and will use this service, if I decide to go to language schools in Europe again.
Cathal Lenaghan: I enrolled in a 2 week course at the Carl Duisberg Centrum in Koln. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to undestand the basics of the German language or seeking to achieve proficiency with everyday communications in German. The staff were very helpful from the moment I arrived and I really enjoyed my two weeks here.
Ilona Bittman: I would kindly appreciated to Language International school and to Iliana personally for studying program and hosting.
Gerald Scherrer: The on-line booking process and e-mail exchange with Language International was excellent. Everything went very smoothly and I thoroughly enjoyed my intensive one week Italian Course in July 2022 in Rome at the Leonardo Da Vinci School.
Mariko Shimizu: The student adviser Iliiana is very prompt to answer all of my questions and has an excellent rapport with the school in Tunis. I learned an incredible amount of material within one week, thanks to my teacher, Siwa. She has very organized and tactic approach to improve my French. The director of the school, Rahma took me all possible places in Tunis and nearby cities so that I can experience maximum within one week of stay. I am very happy that I selected the French school through Language International.
Michaela Hostinská: Škola v centru Frankfurtu je profesionálně vedená. Kurz měl vynikající úroveň, lektoři příjemní, trpěliví, ochotní, vstřícní, nároční a se zkušenostmi.
Jean Yen Smith: Loved the city, my host family, class activities, & teachers’ teaching methods & friendliness! The locations of the school & the host family are very convenient to walk to & are also quiet enough although there had been this traditional singing & joke telling festive events almost every night at the near-by plaza, they were happy, joyful, & pretty music & sounds to my ears & wished that I had energy to join them! I was also particularly surprised by how safe I felt on the streets in the center of the city, even in the early evenings, which was the opposite of what I had read online concerning the crime report before my trip there! All in all, I highly recommend studying Spanish at such a wonderful school & beautiful city of Guanajuato!
Christine Bajard: I spent a week in Amsterdam with a personal teacher and host through Language International. It was an enriching experience, both language wise but also culturally. The week was tailored for me. I came home exhausted but extremely satisfied. On the organizational level, I changed plans at the last minute but got consistent help from the European contact person. Every question was answered promptly, so I felt there was a good structure behind me. I also had a professional contact from the person in charge in Amsterdam.
Zandi Bosua: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI had such a great experience working with Language International. The communication was effective, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend booking a course with them!
Nigel068: Language International booked me onto a 1 week beginners Russian Language course in Kiev. They were very professional, responded to my communications very efficiently, provided detailed information about the course and location etc, and also the course itself at the Echo Eastern European language school was excellent and very good value for money.
Guylaine L'Italien: Positive:Value
Tanya Smith: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThe quality of the teaching and of the program of activities was excellent, and the administrative staff are all really friendly and helpful. I did the two-week course for over 50s in Nice and would highly recommend it.
Catharina von Proschek: Positive:Communication
Cecilia Klanger: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat service and communication.
Trina PaStarr: Language international helped me schedule a one month Spanish school in Cuenca, Ecuador. During the pandemic so much across the world was closed or had limited hours and was all super confusing to figure out. Language international helped me figure out the best fit and organized all the back and forth with the school for me. I ended up loving my school, Yanapuma, the teachers and the facilities. Great quality. Definitely recommend!!

Russian School of Mathematics - Lexington: what do users think?
Ole Sea: Great office staff
Vasu Meel: They have rsm classes on February break
Dimitry Mikhail Smirnov: This is an awesome place
Anna Wolfson: My 5 year old daughter feels confident and smart with her math skills that she is learning at Russian School of Math. She is so excited about math and feels that she is very good at it. She always comes out of class with a big smile on her face and says she had a lot of fun. The communication with the teacher is easy and we are so pleased with the experience.
Sudeep Vaswani: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value
Tam K: Great program! Helped to improve my daughter's math skills a lot. Highly recommend!
Joanna Wu: I had very unpleasant experience with this school. My daughter doesn’t like the teaching style and the hour is very long. When we decided to drop off, only with 1 week of their refund policy window, they refused to refund any of 50% of remaining tuition. The school management team takes no action, lack of empathy and no interests in refunding any tuition. During conflict, only care their profitability over school reputation. Not recommended this school to anyone.
Janna F: When we arrived, no one was in the building or the front desk. After walking down a few hallways we approached a woman teaching a remote student. She said that the front desk management should have been there by now. Meh.
Dana Cucerov: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy daughter has been attending RSM and we have been very satisfied with her progress this year. We really like the curriculum and her teacher and highly recommend the program
Yuan's Team Realty: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueVery selfish and profit oriented organization. Stay away.
Szabolcs Szalai: Improves a lot on mathematic skills, but not works for everyone. Location is good, close to highways, but still in a quite zone.
Sammi L: teachers and curriculum are great!
Respirar Chico: This is from a student who went and this moment, still goes here. RSM of Lexington teaches you a lot, but not in a good way. So expensive! I doubt the money even goes to the classrooms and only to the principals custom iPhone whatever it is. Drawings on the wall, in and on the desks - DISGUSTING! We can't even go through the main entrance of the building, because management didn't like us. We need to go through the annoying side ramp. I shouldn't forget, the amount of homework they give is too much! As an 8th grader, it is so hard to balance my life with all of these activities, schoolwork, and RSM Homework. All of these other reviews are from parents who made the students do, not the students themselves. So please, if you really know what's best then don't force your kid(s) to go here. If your kid won't mind a horrible environment while learning a lot, then sign him up and say good bye to your money!
J K: Just don't let the democrats find out you went here
Leonid Moroz: We are very happy with RSM Lexington. The school gives students a very good foundation in mathematics, while also helping them to improve their logic skills. Students have the chance to take part in many different math competitions, and really get engaged and interested in learning math.
Afsaneh Ghanavati: I consider RSM as a place that brings positive challenges to my children's schedule and teaches them problem solving in a friendly and uplifting environment. The staff and faculty are helpful and have always been ready to address my concerns in a prompt manner. Thank you for the job-well-done!
Anya Turker: We have joined RSM to increase math skills as a adjunct to school. After the initial placement, I have noticed that my son has not only improved his math skills, but is now more responsible and independent in tackling problems on his own. The teacher has really been instrumental through her encouragements and persistence.Thank you!
YuliaBoris Gervits: We have two kids going to Lexington RSM, for fifth and second year. RSM gives kids a solid base in Math, encourages them to participate in Math competitions and give their best effort. It teaches them to plan their weekly homework and gives them confidence in their Math skills. All in all, RSM helps kids to develop good habits and, hopefully, provide some leverage and better choices when they get to college and beyond.
Sue B.: My kids, who are now in 5th and 8th grade, have attended RSM Lexington for years. My goal when I first signed them up was to build a strong foundation in math, that will eventually bring them to a global competency level in high school and later in college. Since the classes are offered with different levels of difficulty, both kids were guided to find their right fit, challenged enough to reap the benefits without feeling overwhelmed. The school is really well managed and communication with both the administration and the teachers is highly effective. The results were more than satisfying; both kids are excelling at their regular school and that strongly boosted their self-confidence.
Mikhail Shirokov: Both of my kids who are now in 7th and 10th grade have been attending RSM since they were in 5th grade. They both have taken algebra and geometry. Math curriculum offered by RSM is not just several levels higher than in a standard US school, but is also deeper and provides the following additional benefits, in my opinion: - teaches kids discipline and responsibility; - teaches an important skill of critical thinking, which they apply in other subjects at school, such as science and even history; provides excellent foundation for mathematical analysis. I believe that the knowledge and skills acquired at RSM can not only help in pursuing a technical profession, but also in business and finance. The program is well designed and is manageable outside of school hours and instructors are friendly and focused. If only my children could have a similar program in their regular school! My older one has been taking SAT in 7th and 8th grade, reaching nation average or exceeding it. I take reasonable approach and do not push. I only help them stay organized and provide occasional help with assignments. RSM also offers free homework help.
Vidya Jain: This is our 4th year in RSM Lexington. My son loves Math and enjoys RSM very much! Luckily he is getting same teacher every year. Teacher is very nice.
