Saltie Girl: what do users think?
Sara Abdelaziz: Every time I visit Boston, I have to eat there. People are friendly, the service is great, the food is to die for.
Mikey Schaubroeck: Oysters were great. Fried clams were life changing!
Vi Mouzon: Truly enjoyed my fish and chips. Very fresh and fried well.

Minh Anh Bui: Visited this place twice. I’ll have to say that it’s an expensive restaurant but the food is really nice, especially the lobster roll (very buttery and seafood-y). We enjoyed the meal, but again, it was expensive. I would recommend this place if you want to hang out once in a while not every day….Recommended dishes Lobster Roll, Seafood …More

Daniel-Eric Wirtz: Unfortunatly our evening at Saltie Girl Boston was horrible. We had a reservation and were send downstairs. We stood there and no one cared for us. We had to ask a waiter were we should sit. He went to the hostess which then arrived and only then were we seated. Then we ordered oysters as Appetizer. We wanted two of each. Instead we got less then ordered and pointed that to the waiter out. He then brought us a plate with the missing ones. The problem here was that they weren‘t placed clockwise like in the other oyster restaurants in Boston ( like the little whale or Selected Oysters )so we didn‘t know which oyster we were eating. As we went through this course, they already brought the Entrée which is just not acceptable. The waiter didn‘t seem to understand why we wouldn‘t want our hot meals mixed with our order from the raw bar. He acted like we were screaming at him which we weren‘t. Then, which seemed to be the restaurant manager, came to our table apologized and took the warm dishes away for later but explained, that this were normal here, like Tapas. We are from Europe. No original Tapas restaurant in Spain would mix hot tapas with cold ones. These are always seperated courses. As we had finished our Oysters we got the Entrée which wasn‘t that good. The beef of the burger had no seasoning and no taste at all and the Pasta was over seasoned. When we ordered the check, they had charged us twice the main courses which they then changed after complaining. It gave us the feeling that they wanted to fraud us.Overall our stay at Saltie Girl was an horrible experience which cost us a lot money which wasn‘t it worth.
Veronika Chula: Best lobster roll you could ever have!
Shiva N: The mood here is amazing. The drinks are even better! Recommend the basil cocktail.
A A: Came in as a walk in and given an awful wonky table. Host did not even care to fix it. Waiter never showed up. N one brought water. Place needs improvement in management and organization. Go elsewhere and save your money.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Allie: Food was pretty good/decent, atmosphere is awesome and fun. Definitelty make a reservation because the place gets packed. Service is average.
Linda Joy: Bartender unfriendly. Worst cocktail sauce ever.
Robin Way: Loved loved loved the tinned mussels and sardines, and the seared sea scallops were awesome.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
N: Food was good and service inside restaurant too. But the front desk hostess was absolutely awful and needs a lesson in customer service… or a job that doesn’t involve speaking to people. The restaurant mistakenly changed my reservation time without my request and rather than work to accommodate and take accountability on the error the hostess was extremely rude and dismissive. She would speak over me and tell me “move aside” and that whatever time in her system is when the table will be ready, regardless of whatever email/text proof I had on my end.Bad attitude but the rest of the staff made up for it. Good job to the managers for rectifying.
Matthew Naneville: Came here at 9:30 PM with a party of 5 to get a late night bite. We were told that only the bar was open and they were serving a limited menu until 9:45 PM. When we went to the bar area, we noticed there was a booth large enough to accommodate us; however, when we went to sit down, we were told the table was reserved, which given the fact that it was 30 mins before close was hard to believe. We ended up leaving and not eating there, but spent close to 15-20 minutes outside of the restaurant trying to figure out where else to go, during which time no big parties went into the restaurant, which really made it seem like they were lying, being lazy, or probably both. Their late night menu was also limited to seafood cocktail type food, so don’t expect to find their famed lobster roll if you go there after 9 PM. We were very disappointed as this restaurant was on our list of places to eat at while visiting Boston, and this was by far the worst experience we had at any restaurant or place during our entire visit. Their lobster roll may be one of the best, but their laziness and shady behavior left a permanent sour taste in our mouths.
Rob Wienert: No expectations walking in. Walked out having enjoyed Fried Lobster and Waffle. Fantastic!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Lobster & Waffles …More
A Stenft: Hate to leave a negative review but this is far from friendly and from from accommodating. Not only did they push our reservation back 45 minutes, they were extremely aggressive towards allowing one additional guest at the table. They had asked the person to leave and were not willing to add a chair when the restaurant was filled with open seats. They clearly aren't out to make sure diners have the best experience possible.
Allen C: Good food, nice place to get together with friendsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Kylie Odparlik: This place was delicious! All the food we had was great. We had a sample of all of their oysters, burger, and lobster roll with salt and vinegar chips. I love being able to try different oysters and tasting the difference in flavor profiles. Also, the lobster roll was perfect served warm with butter on a toasted roll. The prices are a bit high but worth it.

Tommaso Giampapa: Amazing seafood. You can tell it's fresh and the recipes are great. The mussels I got were so good. Interesting artwork and history all over the walls. The restaurant has tons of old timey history, and it's very interesting to see it evolve with the city of Boston.Dietary restrictions: Didn't have an issue with a peanut allergy.

Stuart Boffin: We booked a table in advance and were guided through to sit by two staff which we did. The internal maitre d then approached and barked orders at us stating we should have informed her prior to sitting which ruined the experience before it began. They need to alter their tagline from 'Boston's Oldest' to 'Boston's Rudest'. Average and overpriced food too. Avoid and go to nearby Quincy Market instead.
Patricia Liminier: La maison est très belle, la serveuse est sympathique…MAIS le repas ne vaut absolument pas le prix payé. Même le saumon n’est pas bon et la salade Caesar est médiocre.

Steve: TOURIST TRAP! When I walked in and asked for a food menu because I was interested in a lobster roll the moment I saw that they were $40 I ran out of there immediately almost screaming shenanigans. As a guy who is from Maine if you want good lobster, go anywhere on the coast of Maine Don’t pay $40 for a mediocre lobster roll.
Daniel Askari: Wonderful lobster rolls, topped with the best oysters I’ve had yet. What a wonderful experience . The history of this place is breathtaking and overwhelming. Definitely a must when in the area.
Derek Cheung: Sat at the raw bar, was genuinely impressed with the oyster shuckers skills as I seldomly shuck oysters for my family and it's not easy and he made it looked easy, praised him for his skills and tried to start a conversation asking how long he's been doing this for and his response with a cold rude tone was, since 10am... I clarified my question and his response was... 1 day... me and my buddy looked at each other and know we're in for a pretty fun meal...The 2 dozen oysters and clams was fresh but given the attitude, it didn't taste good at all and although we were still hungry, we didn't order more...He was definitely not someone that's anti social as he had no issue talking with other customers... maybe because we're asian... Anyhow, other customers get a big thank you with a smile when they get their bill, so I paid attention to it when we asked for ours and not to my surprise, just handed the bill to the table without a word...Will never go back and will definitely not recommend this place...
Dean Gray: Great Staff.Great Food and Drink!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ben McGuire: I didn’t have high expectations for the food since I knew this was pretty much a tourist only attraction. The food was actually really good. The oysters were phenomenal, better than the other oysters I ate while here in Boston. I would’ve been disappointed if they hadn’t been good, as they’ve been doing this for almost 200 years now. The corn bread was good. The clam chowder was warm and hearty, perfect for a cold, rainy day. I thought it was neat that they had an exclusive lager from Sam Adams. Our server was great. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. A must if you are visiting from out of town.
Marc Schnur: Clam chowder was not too bad. Bloody Mary was not good at all. Poor Man's Lobster lacked salt or seasoning as well as the Grilled Scallops and Shrimp dish. Ice tea was good. Would give it another try if I was in town, but wouldn't be my first choice. Waiter was great.Parking: Drove around for 15 minutes trying to find parking.
Leslie Bottigoni: The ambiance and clamChowder were the only thing I would visit for- I had the lazy man lobster dish, my husband had the shrimp scampi, crab cake and stuffed clamTo startAll were underwhelming, bland and not at all worth the high price chargedThe lazy man was served with inedible rice and more bread crumb than lobster - it was like a dig search to find the lobster and unfortunately found a shell in the dig lol - my entree came out still frozen in the centre - had to be returned and they brought out a new one for me -Should have asked them to nix the breadcrumbs .My husbands scampi was tasteless and bland. The stuffed clam was again - mostly bread crumb and the crab cakes were also not fresh as far as we could tell. So disappointing-Save your money and go to red lobster instead. Our bill was 350$ and it was easily one ofThe worst meals we had all stay in Boston.Go in for a drink and the chowder and save your $ for a worthy dinner outOur friends had the seafood platter - everything was deep fried and tasteless. They were equally disappointedServer was pleasant

Kyosuke Nonoyama: I almost never leave bad reviews but I can’t go without saying how this was probably one of the worst meals I’ve had while dining out.. came in for the mussels, also got the oysters, soft shell BLT and clam spaghetti. We knew when the mussels came out that it was going to be bad. The only thing good was the oyster which has no cooking involved. Really bland, as if there’s something missing. Just over all mediocre as hell, if ur gunna spend money on this I definitely recommend going somewhere else. Funny enough we went to saltie girl 5 min drive away after this and had a way better time with their mussels. Felt like I was in an episode of a Gordon Ramsay show.. sorry to the hard working staff!!

Holly McKee: Made it clear to the waiter that I had celiac, he recommended I order the frittata from the brunch menu, and three hours later I was having a severe glutening reaction. The symptoms lasted for almost a month so clearly more that just a mild cross contamination, there must have been straight up flour in there. Please train your staff better, encourage them to check with the kitchen if they’re not sure, or atleast mark the menu to clearly show what is safe for allergies. Drag show was great tho!

Troy Gregorio: Was very, very expensive for what you got. I got the lobster bisque, the oyster sashimi, and the shishito peppers. When I was finished with the meal I was not satisfied. The different oysters were nice to try for the uniqueness.

Michael Pina: I am disappointed with my recent experience here. It was my seafood restaurant on Sundays when I didn't get out of town for a day trip for a while. I haven't eaten here since b4 the pandemic though. I came to S S with a friend I have not seen in 30 years, and our family's. We ordered the dumplings, and calamari for apps. Both were just ok. Dumplings were cooked too much, calamari was just not any better than my local pub. I had the grilled shrimp and scallops which was definitely overcooked. And the sides with it were trying to be fancy but were not complimentary. My friend had fried clams w/ bellies which were ok, but not like you get in Plymouth. The kale and beet salad was too salty and kale very chewy. I did not ask my guests about their meals but they did not say they were even good. I know the menu choices have shrunk. I used to get a nice piece of grilled steak fish or a broiled fillet or a special, but no longer. Prices were also quite high. I realize all restaurants have gone up, but for these $$ you should leave talking about how good the food was. Service was mediocre. We got what we wanted, he was going through the motions. It feels like the care and love of the food has gone out of the restaurant. I won't go back till I hear they have renewed their menu. Where is Jasper??
Sarah Gallet: The Waiter was really kind and patient, it’s our first time in US.The dishes were delicious and substantial.

Marie Nilson: Underwhelmed and disappointed by our experience here. We dined here on a quiet Tuesday evening yet the service was slow and inattentive. The quality of the food was good however, in my opinion, signicantly overpriced. The salad was fresh and tasted good but very expensive for a not so generous portion. The clam chowder was disappointing. The clams and temperature of the chowder were perfect but the broth tasted watered down and was covered in oyster crackers (I prefer them on the side). The lobster roll was good but not the best I’ve ever had. The lobster was no doubt fresh but the bun and sauce was subpar. Considering the reputation of this restaurant I was disappointed and don’t plan on returning. Not a bad restaurant, just maybe not my first choice for seafood in Boston

Derek Cheung: Walked in and the two young female hosts were not as friendly as one would like. Asked for a table for one but was denied saying they don't have any available but I can go seat myself at the bar, walk in and see at least 6 small tables available not to mention a few other tables for larger groups.Noticed they had a patio and lots of free tables, walked back out and asked if I could sit outside, the host said yes, I said great, and she just went back to doing whatever she's doing... I had to ask her if I could just go myself or she needed to take me.While she walked me to my table, I asked if I needed to go back in for service or if their waitstaff would come out which she said the latter. I am now seated and 15 mins gone by without a single waitstaff came out to me. 2 other waitstaffs came out at least 3 times for the other tables. Feeling a little upset I walked to the same host and asked if I can get some service out there, she said she'll get someone immediately and I walked back to my table. 5 mins passed by and still no one... I walked back in and the other waiter was right at the door and I asked to speak with a manager, he was nice enough to ask other waitstaffs to attend to me vs the original waitstaffs that never appeared. When I went back to my seat, the manager came out with another waiter who was friendly and knowledgeable, ordered my food and went on with my day... Will not come back due to poor service...

Gary Bianchi: Very disappointing meals. I had the haddock which is. LSF staple but it was dry and without flavor and my wife had the lobster ravioli which came with a fra diavlo red sauce that was overpowering for the lobster and a half lobster tail in the shell but no way to get the meat out without wearing the sauce on her sweater. I will say our cups of chowder and the cheesecake for dessert were excellent. We each had 2 drinks, no apps and shared dessert and the entree’s noted and the bill came to $177. Overpriced for a disappointing experience. We won’t be back.

dongying jiang: Very tasty, delicious food. The mussels tasted somehow better than other places I had before. The lobster is also very sweet, but after we take it back with a to go box. Tony Huynh: Great food, and great view, and best of all no wait time. We tried the clam chowder, fried clams and lobster roll. The clam chowder is one of the best clam chowder I ever had. They give us a generous portion of clam chowder for around $8. The chowder was thick and creamy and full of clams. The dills also add a nice touch to the dish, it compliments the chowder without overpowering it. The fried clams were really good, the clams were tasty and juicy. However do be careful with the clams, we did get some clams that taste kinda odd, and 2 members from our group get stomach ache after, that might or might not be from eating these clams. The lobster roll is pretty good with a generous portion of fresh lobster meat. We paid around $70 for the three dishes. Overall it's worth it to come here for their clam chowder and the great view

Marie Kern: Amazing chowder!! If you get anything that is for sure what you should order. Unique dill flavor incorporated that made the chowder top notch in our book. Also ordered the lobster roll and that was very good. One thing to note is that it comes cold, although they were willing to make it hot for us which we took them up on that offer. Hot lobster roll was great and one of our favorites in Boston so far during our visit. Prices for chowder and fish was all very fair. Drinks are definitely on the more expensive side and there is currently construction going on with the front of the building so there was noise from that so request to be seated near the middle.

Criss Zav: Good paella outside of Spain. Thank you.
Boudewijn Braams: Amazing ambiance, delightful service and excellent food. We had the monkfish and the sea bream, would highly recommend either of them. All in all one of the nicest restaurant experiences we’ve had in recent years.
A A: Overall an excellent option for high end seafood. The stars are the lobster gnocchett and the paella.Service could have been better as the restaurant was busy but nonetheless very professional.
Tameka Amado: Rarely do I give 5 stars. What an amazing restaurant from the service to the location and of course the food. I took my sister here for her birthday. It was a quick choice and one I am so glad I made. The salt cooked branzino was delicious! It does take 45 minutes to cook but that gave us time to digest the delicious appetizers and have some drinks. We did not feel rushed. We also had a variety of oysters, the paella, dumplings, sorbet, and snow egg dessert. The snow egg was a meringue with lemon curd mousse inside and placed on a raspberry, basil sauce which was divine. The calamari wasn't my favorite but you can get calamari anywhere and I believe I was just too interested in everything else.Great place!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility: There were no steps to take and the place is really wide when you enter.
Adam Amin: Wonderful restaurant and vibe. Service could have been a little faster, as it took us 30 minutes to order, however waiter was super nice! efaf mansouri: The food was good, but nothing spectacular. We went there for an occasion expected to be wowed, and that wasn’t the case. Our drinks and appetizers were great. But to our disappointment, both of our main courses were overcooked and very poorly seasoned! (It didn’t even look appetizing!) When it comes to service, if you’re going there to be treated special, well, you won’t…and if you take a look at the prices, you definitely won’t be impressed neither by the food nor by the the service- not to mention the inexperienced hostesses. This place might be a great option for business meetings and large groups, but not so much for intimate or family dinners. We won’t be going back and won’t be recommending it either.

Kelly Cambridgeport: Exquisite food, service, ambiance, and seating. I would recommend to set aside at least 2.5 hours for dining if planning for a full dinner. Complimentary freshly baked loaf of bread with butter and olive oil for dipping. The raw yellowtail dish was amazingly fresh and accented with a strong lemon liquid that I found pleasing. The octopus appetizer was the weak item of what I ordered. The raw onions overwhelmed the flavors and the octopus itself was sliced thin, parts overcooked. Not the best octopus I've ever tasted. The special of the evening was the lamb with a green puree. The lamb was perfectly prepared, but there was a lengthy wait between the appetizer and the lamb, almost an hour. The server apologized profusely for the delay. The restaurant did not have mint sauce or jelly for the lamb. The snow egg dessert was unusual in texture and interesting to eat. I drank tap water and my glass was constantly refilled. Silverware was replaced with a fresh set after each dish change. Ostra is a special occasion restaurant or for those with very deep pockets. Elegant and professional staff.

Marshallfv: The service is the best I've ever seen. All the staff we met was friendly and professional. We ordered paella, oysters, monkfish, and the smoked salmon. The paella was a little bit over salted and the mussels maybe have been stored for a while but the taste was still good. There's one downside of the oysters, the size were not the same, I fully understand it's hard to make every oysters the same size but it's somehow achievable, and the taste was fresh. The monkfish was tender, but still could feel the texture of the fish.

Tracy Sperling: This was a beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere! The details in the decor are stunning with ocean design. The open kitchen is surrounded by small planters of fresh herbs and polished pans hanging above. The table setting is so impressive. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive. Definitely make a reservation beforehand. It was full on a normal Wednesday night. It did get loud as it filled up. The food was outstanding. The portions were excellent. Even the warm bread served with butter and olive oil was exceptional. I ordered steak in a seafood restaurant and it was cooked and presented better than a lot of steak houses I’ve eaten at. I would highly recommend everything about this little gem.
Tania H: High end dining. Perfect for date night or special occasions. Service was attentive and informative, and the food was absolutely delicious. We splurged and started with caviar, sea bass tartare and champagne. The grilled octopus and branzino was amazing. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of their seafood. I would definitely come back again.

We ate the bacon wrapped scallops before I could snap a picture. They were devine ! We had sparkling water and 2 cocktails with our meal. That's why it was an average 100 each.

Ronnie Kassiff: This is such a great spot to go for a date, a company dinner, or just a fun night out with friends. The food is incredible, the specials are fresh (I really enjoyed the Nantucket scallops) and the service is great. Definitely one of my go-to spots for Seafood.
Constantin Hoffmann: I am really disappointed with this restaurant and it’s reservation policy. We ordered a table for three at 8:00 pm. As we turned up we‘ve been told that our table is not available and we should wait at the bar. The restaurant was packed and there was no space at the bar or anywhere else. We left 15min later after and went for dinner somewhere else. If you want to frustrate customers: that’s the way to do it. Never ever again.
Hector Huitron: Absolutely must visit spot in Boston! The service at the bar was above and beyond thanks to “Radish”. I visit this place every time I’m in town. The chowder and lobster roll are can’t miss items. The Australian Wagyu was cooked perfectly and well worth the trip.

Neptune Oyster: what do users think?
St.PeteNative: This was recommended by a local concierge. We really loved this place as it placed us in what felt like essential Boston. Historic neighborhood ✅ Thick accents ✅ Great hot lobster roll at a pricy $38 each. But hey you will pay that about anywhere in the city might as well enjoy the packed Boston atmosphere of this charming restaurant.PS Try the Johnnycake appetizer for one of the most unique seafood dishes you will ever have.
Han Jiang: Only order shells.

Tony Huynh: The food at Neptune Oyster is overhyped and expensive. We wait around 1 hr and a half to get inside. The space is small and crowded with barely any moving space. We got an oyster tray, clam chowder, butter lobster roll, razor clam and Johnny's Cake. The oysters were good but it wasn't that sweet, and it cost around $3-4 per oyster. The Clam chowder is the most watery chowder I ever had, there were clams but not many and you have to really fish for it. The lobster roll is decent with juicy lobster however there wasn't much flavor in the lobster roll. The razor clams were overcooked and chewy, and the flavor wasn't that good either. Finally the Johnny's Cake, we also added lobster to it, it wasn't bad but it's just standard, nothing special about the cake. The total cost was around $180. Overall I wouldn't go back again, the food wasn't worth it for the long wait time and the high prices.
Micheal Abboud: Delicious delicious!! Best restaurant in Boston if you are a seafood loverEverything is excellent, specially the tuna tartare is unbelievableHighly recommendFood: excellentPortion: greatCustomer service: excellent.Ambiance: casual and relaxed.Prices: fair.Cleanliness: Adequate.
Gajan Sivapathasundaram: I’d also recommend this place for LobsterRoll ! Excellent food!I’d suggest getting there early to get a seat, especially if you’re in groups as the waiting time can vary between 15-30mins.
Richard W: To tourists: out of all the sit-down meals I’ve had in Boston, this is the only one I chose to return to within the same trip. Just skip the clam chowder. The wait time can be long, up to an hour during peak times, but it’s worth it. While standing in line, you can watch someone shucking oysters in full view—live entertainment. These are the movements of someone with many many years of experience.Service is extremely warm and friendly. The wide selection of oysters did not feel overwhelming because the waitress narrowed it down for newly seated patrons.Even though I’m not a fan of raw oysters, I enjoyed these due to the especially bright mignonette. The johnnycake was warm, soft, comforting, sweet but not too sweet, topped with smoked fish that sounds like an odd pairing but works. I’ve never had anything like this before. It makes me want to come back and try other interesting things on the menu, perhaps in a future visit.Edit: on my second visit, I had the clam chowder and octopus. Octopus was extremely tender, well-charred along with the vegetables, and bursting with flavor from the romesco. The clam chowder was okay; I felt I had to order it because Boston, but there are so many better things on the menu.
Haein H: We stood in line on a chilly Saturday evening for over an hour. We got sat at the bar and were presented with a menu that describes where the oysters are from and what flavours you can expect from each one. The oysters themselves were really fresh and one of the best I’ve ever had, but it was still really overpriced and I didn’t like how we couldn’t make reservations in advance.
Brennan Rosales: The weather was perfect so waiting in line was no problem. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The hot Lobster Rolls were pretty much perfect. Friendly service great wine selection. Very cozy seating. We were a party of 3 sharing a 6 top with another party of 3 but it was fine. Caitlin McPheron: Super cool spot with amazing oysters. Clam chowder was phenomenal as well. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and there was a small 5-10 minute wait. Highly recommend!
Justine Collins: This place is unbelievable - and worth the long wait! We got here 45 minutes before they opened, and we were the first ones in line, but everyone else shortly followed - so make sure you get there early if you don't want to wait at LEAST an hour for a table. This restaurant's food may be one the very few times for me where when tasting the food, it was an EXPERIENCE. The Johnnycake was out of this world - I have never in my life tasted anything like it and it's so hard to compare, but it was mouthwatering. We also had the oyster piggybacks and crostini which were incredible. Oysters were so fresh. We also ordered the lobster roll which came last, and honestly - the preceding food was so magnificent that it made the lobster roll taste like any other lobster roll. My recommendation is to come here for their appetizers first, oysters second, and if you're still hungry (which I doubt), then get a lobster roll. They will fit every person at every seat available. The restaurant is small so it does feel a bit crammed, but it's very well managed and efficient nonetheless. Overall, 10/10 dining experience!
Brian Wong: Best lobster roll in Boston. They pack a full 8oz of lobster in the roll. The cold mayo is the way to go.
Nicholas Cooper: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Maine Lobster & Sea Greens, Shrimp & Grits, Crab ClawsMore
Ronald Cheung: Another must hit place when every time in town. With the taste of hot butter and generous potions of lobster, you don’t wanna miss the hot lobster roll. The other dishes which some folks missed is the fried clams, the clam is big and fresh, and they season it just right and never overcook it(at least my last 10 times visit in last few years)Remember sparing some time for the long waiting line outside the restaurant door, an hour at least if you are lucky.
Erica Reetz: Great service and delicious food! We had oysters, the clam chowder, fish & chips, and the hot lobster roll. Fantastic flavorsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

B&G Oysters: what do users think?
Stephane Rivest: Food was good but very expensive for what it is, I was kind of shocked when I saw the bill to be honest. But still a nice little restaurant.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Luka Vujeva: This place wants you to order, quickly eat and pay within 40 min so that they can free up your seat. The place seems nice, but our experience was grotesque. I have never experienced someone putting a cheque on my table while im still eating, of course, without me asking for a cheque.
Richard W: The negroni was perfect. All else left much to be desired. The fried clams are fine (the tartar sauce is zesty!), but the sides were severely lacking. Fries were limp and soggy with virtually no crunch. The coleslaw felt limp and lifeless without any vibrancy. The pickles tasted off-putting, like something gone bad. This quality was not worth the price. The clam chowder was mainly salt pork. It tasted good, but I expected clam soup, not pork soup.
Steven Dechiario: Just had dinner there and it’s definitely not the same quality as it once was. The lobster roll was mediocre when it was once fresh and crisp. The fries, which were once the crispy ends, were regular shoe string fries that were soggy. The portions are smaller than they were which say a lot since they were always small. However, in the past, despite the small size, the flavor and quality of the food was there in abundance. This is no longer the case. Higher prices, worse quality. Sad to say I will not return.
Mark Freedman: This was a pleasant surprise. Terrific choice of oysters and service personal and friendly. Every dish is prepared from scratch. Amazing to watch the cool prepare the chowder from sitting at the bar. Quaint place, simple but friendly. Excellent food quality. Nicholas Manning: The host nearly ruined our 10 year wedding anniversary. We booked two weeks in advance. We the. arrived 20 minutes late and the host told us they removed our reservation as we were over 15 minutes late. He then told us they only had a table with a max 1 hour time limit to eat. We were done place that a crummy table, and we just left after five minutes. The management should be ashamed that they do not train people taking reservations over the phone by informing customers of this ridiculous policy up front. We were not even given a phone call when we were running late by the host that we were about to have our reservation removed. We were happy to not spend our money here and ended up luckily finding a better place nearby.
S PJ: Absolute delicious fish and chips! Then why the 2 stars you might wonder- it was so cold in the restaurant we had to sit with our coats on and it really (negatively) impacted our experience- the salad was drowning in its dressing- one of us ordered a beer and it was forgotten and then delivered at the last bite of the food- we came for lunch and I feel size and price of the fish and chips plate can be adjusted to a lunch portion, fried food is best eaten fresh and not something you take home

Amanda Jade: Had a lovely meal here! Staff were attentive and efficient, very nice! We had a selection of Oysters, the Bass and Lobster roll, and Bouillabaisse for our entrees. Food was very delicious, and plated very well. Lobster roll was nice and fresh and not overpowered by any mayonnaise. The bass was cooked to perfection. Small restaurant with a great vibe. There is bar or table seating depending on your party size.Kid-friendliness: Gave us an extra plate so that the little one could have some of the parents food.
Don Mitchell: Small space surrounding the kitchen.Great small wine list. Not a full bar but they do have negroni.I had the clam chowder which was salty, banal, but had interesting cayenne spiced croutons and perhaps urfa. Then the whole branzino which was surprisingly fried. It was fine but nothing special. The salad with it was good. I tried the mousse which was a bit dense but had interesting salted caramel bits on top.
