Growing Up Children's Resale Boutique: what do users think?
Carolyn Day: The selection here is always excellent. They only deal in high quality brands and items in good to excellent condition. In addition to clothes and shoes there are often baby furniture like bassinets and high chairs available. The prices are very good and it is easy to consign. We keep a running account to trade in items our son has outgrown for new things. Be aware she doesn't have room for storage so they only consign items that are seasonally appropriate.
Allie Romney: Had a negative experience here. The store felt dirty with piles of clothes on the floor and bins scattered everywhere. I brought a large bag of brand new clothes with tags attached, the woman pulled a few things off the top and offered me $9. Said to bring the other things back when she had the mental capacity to go through them… very unprofessional. Won’t be returning
Kate Bowen: Good range of used clothes, easy credit process for trade-ins, kid a can play while you shop, can get a bit crowded but very amiable atmosphere.
Hintz Antony: best
Evelyn Servin: best service
Courtnie Douesius: The place is-a mess. Which is a turn off :/ hard to find things I was looking for and hardly got a hello when I walked in. Won’t be back.
Naiara Fuentes: I love the shop and Abby. She is great!
Claudine Riley: Quality clothes at great prices from super friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Katherine: Nice, but ripped off me when selling clothes. Took over 20 items and get me only $15?! Less than a $1 an item. Never gave me a chance to look over and think just took my items and gave the cash. Probably won’t sell clothes anymore there. Did not make me feel welcomed. I felt out of place as the owner spoke down to me as if she was superior or entitled.
Kate Ryan: The owner is so nice! Fair pricing and honest practice. Takes time to go through each item in front of you, not rushed. If you ask she willGive reasons for which items she can take and explains policies.
Samantha Green: I had never been here before but came because I had a Nift Card. I frequent a lot of thrift and consignment shops, and this is definitely one of the nicer ones. It's not just kids clothing, but also toys/games, baby stuff, books, and maternity clothes. I bought a pair of Sperry sneakers (for myself) that looked barely worn.. only $12! And a pair of Levi skinny jeans for my son.. $6 😯All in all, I was more than pleased with the prices, the service, and the selection.
Fatou Moctar: Great place
Chris Taylor: I can always find great, good quality items here for my kids. Staff are super friendly as well.
Holly TT: You can definitely find great items here. The cost can be a bit high for resale depending on the items.
Charlene Volk: There is so many great Treasures here. When you are dropping off clothes for resale trade, or baby carriers, you want to make sure that they're better than Gap or above. The owner is super nice and the place is a little over packed but totally easy to navigate. I do not recommend bringing little ones with you to go search through this, because there are so many things to look at and you'll want all of your attention on the clothes.
Sara Nap: This is a pretty nice place to get gently used, nicer brand kids clothes. The selection for under 2 years much better, and more girls than boys stuff. The clothing itself is organized for the most part, but they have a lot of other things (boppys, bumbos, carriers, etc) that are quite unorganized, so you really have to look in all the nooks and crannies to find other goodies. The ladies that work there are always super nice, they have their kids there often...who aren't always so nice, but I think they feel like it's their home and stuff and dont want to share. Overall good place, I visit a few times a year.
Sheryl Dickey: Great brand name high quality clothes for a great price.
Nancy Wilson: There are so many bargains and so many beautiful clothes for babies and children.
Emily Horjus: When I called they said to only being clothes that were in season (totally normal for a consignment). When I arrived with three bags of barely used, carefully folded and sorted clothes, they would not take ANY of them. Apparently they only take "GAP or better" and what I had didn't cut it, despite being adorable, clean, and weather appropriate. I even did have some designer pieces from GAP in there, but they didn't see them because they barely lifted the clothes out of the bags to look at them. Wish they had something over the phone about what a snobbish store they were running. What a waste of time.
Bethany Allen: Good prices... Lighting in the space makes it hard to see though.
Dave K: It is always fairly messy but we can normally find one of the things that we are looking for each time we go. Not a lot of infant clothes and I haven't spent much time looking at the older kids clothes yet

Charu Walia: My daughter and i went to this place only once, but we definitely loved it. They have some nice toys, rain boots, ballet and tap shoes for great price. Even baby stuff like crib and swings even maternity clothes for such a cheap price. Nice place and love the library.

Fancy Pants: what do users think?
Marina Linck: I love this children’s store! I’ve found several items at very affordable prices including an UPPA BABY umbrella stroller that we use everyday! Awesome to find gently used toys. Excellent place to take gently used baby items, as well. I got store credit for some items that my daughter grew out of.The owner, Marina (who has the same name as me!) is so nice and helpful. Will definitely be back again and again.
Amy Essigmann: Best kids clothing and toy store ever. I recommend this store to everyone I know with kids. I've been coming for years and always find something great. Especially things like winter coats and boots, fancy clothes, baby stuff, and dress up clothes that kids grow out of so fast. Staff is always so helpful and friendly, we love you Fancy Pants!
Masha Senderovich: wonderful store and helpful owner. I can always find what I need here :) usually, something like a last minute pair of snow pants or gloves that constantly get lost
Vi S: Very friendly staff, great selection, and impressive discounts. I scored a striped navy jacket, a handmade wool sweater, a pair of black leather loafers, and some classic books like Richard Scarry ABCs and the Polar Express. Some other cool items I spotted include Philips Avent bottle warmers, cordless Spectra pumps, breastfeeding support pillows, and Halloween/dress-up costumes.Support local business and the second-hand market by coming here!
Joanne Olivio: Great experience with the store owner and her staff! Very welcoming, friendly and helpful!
Anna Komarova: Best ever experience! The owner is very helpful and welcoming, that’s important when you go shopping with kids! I appreciate recommendations - saves my time in navigating throughout the store. Happy to find the place where I can bring my kids’ clothes, get store credit and spend it as needed. There’s always some finds at reasonable price for every season, like NorthFace, Patagonia, Under Amour, Hanna Anderson, etcIt’s sad that they moved further from my home!
Maria Boden: I have to be really honest, I was shocked when I walked into this store. I brought in Nike Air Jordans and many clothes from Tiny Hanger and Bloomingdales like EGG, Mayoral etc. I got $20 for some Cat & Jack stuff, which was odd because they are Target brand. She does not know her niche brands. The Air Jordan's and really high end stuff she almost completely ignored, but also stole. After trying to negotiate, she gave me $20 and the rest of my clothes back. When she took me back to review what she was taking it wasn't much maybe 10 to 12 clothing items out of at least 50 pieces. While she was privatey going through my items, I checked prices on everything and she sells shirts for $10 as well as old dirty shoes selling for $20...I mean, come on, this lady is taking you for a ride if you try to sell to her, completely ripped off. When I looked in my bag later I noticed many items missing that were not in the plastic container that she showed me. I believe, in fact know, she truly stole some of the clothes. Bad feeling all around.Either way, I normally donate everything and thought "my son hasn't even worn or hardly worn this stuff I should see what I can get.". I got $20 bucks, that's what I got and I feel completely scammed. If your looking for great stuff for summer of 2022 and Fall I just left it there, it will probably sell for around $200+. Clearly she needs the money more than I, it just feels really horrible to be completely scammed.
Conor McLaughlin: Extremely helpful staff and a large selection of children's clothes and toys. Check it out.
Ashley Riveira: The prices are too high and the store is very disorganized. Don't waste your time in here.
Aaron Geisel: Small, local thrift shop. I mainly look for toys and games and the selection here is okay. Some of the prices are questionable, one board game will be $4 while another is $17 for no apparent reason. As their name suggests, they have a lot of children's clothes if that's what your looking for. Employees are super nice people in my experience, they just don't really carry what I look for.
Kim: The store associate was extremely helpful and friendly! My daughter found a few pieces that she really liked, and the prices were excellent!
Jorge Morales: Great store! Good prices, large variety, excellent quality and the owner is a delight to talk to—she was super helpful. Highly recommend.
Mindy Green: We always love come here for hand-me-downs and small toys/rewards for the kids. Happy to hear they are just moving farther west and not closing. New location is 255 Worcester St, Wellesley. (Farther west on Rt 9.)
Emily Waggoner: The store owner was so helpful and kind. Great deals on a huge variety of items.
Bredon Crawford: Super friendly and knowledgeable. We got to try on baby carriers, which really helped. Will switch to this store from online. Great prices too.
christine Mcdonough: Too cluttered.
Jennifer Jensen: Facy pants is great place has butiful clothes very fancy shoes.
Emily Siu: They were very very nice, albeit a bit insistent on trying to help. I prefer browsing leisurely so it was a little much, but they had a ton of stuff and were open to finding stuff from resellers if needed.
Youn-Mi Kim: Our purchase experience for our daughter’s bicycle at the store is great. The owner was super responsive when we messaged for details, and the gentleman working at the store is extremely nice and showed all bikes to my daughter. We bought the one she liked the most, and the owner was so nice and gave us a discount on the price. Excellent experience throughout! Highly recommended!
K Ho: I was helped by the nicest man, Gene. He sold me a baby scale for our cats and was helpful and thoughtful. He even offered to put new batteries into the scale because he wanted me to go home as a happy customer. Truly exceptional.
Georgina’s Gaming Channel: Great store very friendly staff great service ; clothes could be a little bit cheap since they are used but overall love the store!

Boomerangs: what do users think?
Tabitha Brown: Cute little high-end thrift shop in the South End! From China to Name Brand gear. To Jimmy Choo shoe's/ glass!
It's Roy (Frankiz): They have some pretty nice high end stuff here
Kristopher Kuss: Highly curated selection. Nice staff.
Krissy Govertsen: I love this store and its nice to have in my community. Over the past few months I have purchased a really nice Madewell baby dollar style flannel shirt ($20), a gold silky dress ($24), a hat ($10). My boyfriend even bought a nice Jcrew tshirt ($26) and he hates second hand stuff! You'll find that there are also more expensive clothes like cashmere sweaters, vintage jackets etc if you have the $$$ to spend. But for me, it has the sustainability of second hand, with name brand things, that look brand new, for a reasonable young professional price. I stop by once a week so I don't miss the good stuff!
Jessica Norberto: Disappointed. Too expensive items and few options
E P.: Besides the fact that they sell overpriced used items. I went there for the first time, I bought a hat that was fitted I didn't noticed because I wanted to check out the place quick and fast due to the pandemic still. Minutes after leaving the store I went through my bag of goodies I bought. I noticed the hat was fitted and a bit small. I wanted to return it for my money back or get something else. Mind you.... I had just left the store not even five minutes as I was nearby visiting family. Not even five minutes they sure remembered me. .. Not going going back.. there are definitely other thrift shops. They were ok when I purchased items, but not when I called to inquire about the hat that I had issue about. I didn't notice it was fitted. Simple mistake. People thrifting is much better in Buffalo and customers service at its best. Much better brands and much affordable. I mean what if I was a mystery shopper?
P bower: Definitely not an affordable thrifting place… which would be fine if the brands they were carrying were more prestigious or vintage. But they’re not, they’re like Ann Taylor and banana republic. $36 for a second hand banana republic top (with a hole in it) is not worth it. Not much for size XL (and not really plus size friendly). Very limited selection. Cute shop though.
Ayon Ibrahim: It’s got all sorts of neat stuff and I enjoyed their book selection. But most things are kind of on the pricey side for what I expect out of a thrift shop
Katie Cupoli: Great thrifts! The employees here are all very helpful, especially Micah! Store is clean, well organized and always has such a good mix of merchandise to shop. Would definitely suggest this shop to anyone!!
Christine Pierannunzi: This Boomerangs is not like the other locations. They probably get more valuable donations and brands here, so prices are much higher...
Francis Schmidt: Pricey, very fancy stuff.
wendy Hunter: Not impressed with the fact they posted hours on their website, drive al the way there, only to find they closed 3 hours early. Very disappointing!
Michael Gregorio: Very nice
Nikka Palapar: A store that has wonderful rare selections with a friendly and engaging staff. A good place to invest in long-term pieces with the additional bonus of your money going to a good cause. This place is a frequent visit for me!
Martin Ryan: This one of the BEST vintage stores to be found anywhere. From lite home decor to clothing, the staff here have an eye for the finest castoff and truly gently used goods. It doesn't get any better than this true gem. Promise.
Daren Salter: Well-curated mix of men and women’s clothing, footwear and small home decor items. In my experience the staff have been relaxed and helpful, and sometimes negotiable on pricing. I look forward to stopping by whenever I’m in the neighborhood. The only downside is the burn of finding the coolest jacket you’ve ever seen, just one size off.
Demi Daniels: Walked over during COVID and it was closed. Leaving review to save others from the travel!
Mary Spears: Always an interesting and varied yet curated selection and love that it all goes to a great cause!
Stephanie Joseph: I really really love this thrift shop. Recently my toddler and I paid them a visit and literally got so many goodies ! All for the price of $20.00. I purchased a pair of pants , which so happened to be half off. So it was about $3.00 , a sweatshirt $4.00, $1.00 soft sweater, romper $4.00, lightly used Toms for $2.00, Lightly used Sperrys for $2.00 and 3 hard cover books in amazing condition for the price of $1.50. They were .50 cents each 😳 then to find out they have half off books on Thursdays! 😍 We will be there every Thursday !!! The employees there were super helpful and sweet. Reminding me of ways to gain points through their membership. The only con is it’s slightly tight in there BUT it’s worth being extra mindful of your step! We will be back !
Richelle Amado: I had really liked shopping here since it's convenient to my home and usually has very beautiful things, although overpriced. However, today I had a terrible experience that made me feel insulted actually. When I brought the wallet that I liked and planned to purchase to the counter, I was told that the price was a mistake and too low for that brand that it's basically an $800 wallet. I had no idea of the brand, I just liked the practical way the wallet was made. The person at the counter was like "ah yah no sorry we can't sell it for that price - it must have got switched since people do that all the time. It's a vintage version but it still would be sold for much more."Really???Ok so when the person switched the tag and tried to buy the item and was denied, why wasn't the price fixed???I just walked out. Very poor taste and lack of professionalism. In all the years I've spent money at Boomerangs, I've never encountered such an experience.Or in any store for that matter.
Shanan Shenéqua: I’m never disappointed! I love just coming in here to check out the inventory, so many interesting pieces. It’s one of my favorite boomerangs, other than the one in lower Manhattan.

Children's Orchard Norwood: what do users think?
Marty Smith: I just found this gem of a store searching for slightly used baby items for my daughter expecting her first child . I am thrilled with what I was able to find . Items were exactly what I was looking for . Name brands and prices were excellent . The shop owner Carla was just wonderful to work with and even helped me load everything neatly in my car . I will be a regular customer for sure . So much easier that chasing things down on fb marketplace . Shop local ❤️❤️❤️
Mari Ramirez: So rude. I’ve been in there twice and have tried to call to make an appointment to sell and they are just always so rude and super grumpy about everything. At this point if you don’t want to be there and everyone is just bothering you, sell the place. Place has gone all the way down hill.
Lori Stanovitch: I found the owners to be extremely rude and condescending. I won't shop or refer this place on principle alone.
Elizabeth Kelley: Great deals and a very helpful and friendly staff!
Jenae Johnson: I called this store to make an appointment and the woman who answered was very rude and disrespectful. I will NEVER do business here! How are you supposed to be in customer service and be so rude to people inquiring. Also the things she was saying are NOT on the site. Very condescending.
rosalind pendleton: The 5 dollar bags was great. I have always had a pleasant experience. Great selection of clothes. I have recommended the store to my friends with grandchildren.
Linda Sjostrom: Awesome store! Great quality clothing!
Sondra Phillips: Slightly used and new children clothes at great prices!
Brittany Miller: I really love the idea of a children’s consignment and buying second hand but this place only accepts drop offs by appointment only Monday-Friday 10-3 so if you’re a working parent you’re outta luck. The one time I was able to drop off they offered me a dismal amount for the massive bag of clothes i brought in that we’re great condition, many with tags on. Way to go cutting out tons of would-be customers.
Autumn Notaro: What a Hidden Gem! Stopped by last weekend and found some pieces Ive been searching all over for plus so much more! Friendly staff! Definitely returning soon
Tonia Owens Scarlett: My first time coming in to sell my twins clothes, great experience before and during my visit. If you listen to their policies, ask questions to what they are looking for, and understand it’s a business...they know what their customers are looking for! You will be very happy with them.Thank you for a great time selling and buying!! Looking forward to more cleaning out of my children’s closets and tell others about this place.
Cheryl Lynch: Second time visiting this store...First time I sold a TON of good quality clothes. She bought most of them and I used the $60 store credit to get an item I saw in store.Second time, I had a decent amount of clothing, freshly washed, brand name and in great condition and was offered $20...most of my items were returned. As Im walking around, I saw a STAINED/DIRTY winter coat for sale, sweaters with 'pills' on them, faded graphics (not done on purpose for style but from WEAR) on shirts...but you want to reject near perfect clothes? Ok..never again. I rather donate to Big Brother/Big Sister.
Miss Ladybug: Always excellent service and you get top of the line gently used clothing for excellent prices! There's lots of parking and never a long line.
GC: This place is pathetic I brought in new clothes and was offered only 5.00 what a waist of time! That lady is full of it!
Moody Demetry: Great deal, friendly staff.
Mary Lisa Caulfield: Great deals, terrific for grandparents looking to equip their house without breaking the bank. Great accommodating staff.
Jovan Taylor: I went to sell some of my sons clothes & shoes that he outgrew the woman told me I couldn’t be seen without an appointment then she proceeds to tell me she only accepts name brand clothing the woman I spoke with and her mother were both EXTREMELY rude & ignorant first and last visit I will NOT be returning I wouldn’t recommend anyone to sell nor shop there and lastly being an African American woman I didn’t feel like they were at all inviting to me or my sister they don’t deserve any stars nor anyone’s hard earned money NEVER AGAIN
Evie Saunders: I've been shopping at the Norwood Orchard for 10 years . I love going in and being greeted by smiling, welcoming faces. The employees are always cheerful and helpful. I went in the other day for a specific brand sweatshirt for my granddaughter and one of the women helped me find exactly what I wanted. The clothing is clean organized and the bargains are amazing. Snow boots, ballet slippers bathing suits, jeans, athletic clothes, halloween costumes, holiday dresses, or everyday clothes, name brands and designer labels. Other kids ask my grandchildren where they get this or that and my grandchildren say"at the Orchard" as if it's Nordstroms.
Catherine Tainter: Just found the best deals for children's clothing. Great brand names and pricing. The staff was so helpful. I was greeted as soon as I went in with a friendly smile and offer to help which I didn't think I'd need. No pressure, I looked around and easily found great outfits for my niece. But then I was looking for a particular item for a very hard to please nephew. They couldn't have been more patient and helpful. Left with wonderful outfits at unbelievable prices. Anyone looking for new-like-new outfits should try this place first! And while there, I heard them working with someone who'd brought clothing in to sell, they were so fair and accommodating. I'm going to recommend my family try them first when looking to sell their gently used outfits their kids have outgrown! Highly recommend!!
Ashley Bell: Lady was on the phone and didn't bother speaking to me, awful customer service, don't bother trying to sell anything, this lady has no idea what she's talking about, she said she couldn't see my stuff because she had an appointment at one, then she saw my brand new in box TOMS sneakers and said she could give me three dollars, then said she wouldn't look at my expensive baby carriers unless they were ergos, and still reused my brand new ergo infant insert saying "I'd need the whole thing" not realizing they are sold separately.
Kiky vartan: I agree with previous comments... Very short fused and rude staff. Maybe they should choose a different profession... Clearly customer service is not their forte!!

Castanet Designer Consignment: what do users think?
Olivia Bator: Fantastic finds and warm, hospitable service!
Gilat Zamost: What an amazing find!! A beautiful young lady owns this fabulous store and her mom is there to help! I found incredible deals at the most reasonable prices! Please support this local great shop!
Lisa Saeboe: Impeccable collection of quality designer clothes, but unfortunately not very size inclusive. Everything my mother and I looked at was all size 8 and under. I would consider consigning clothes that can fit size 10 and above! We like designer clothes too :)
Tiina X: Probably the best price to quality and most carefully curated selection that you can find in Boston! Have shopped here since 2018 and keep coming back each season to replenish my wardrobe with a gem or two. Not another run of the mill luxury brand consignment store but you can find tons of eclectic and more fun brands/designs!Cassie, Nina and Evan are all very nice and have a vast knowledge of fashion. They’re also always very helpful with providing honest opinions on fit, etc.
Danielle Johnson: Amazing experience! The staff is so friendly and helpful all while having an amazing selection! I’ll be back soon
Amanda Andrews: I’ve found such great things here over the years…a Rag & Bone hat, Golden Goose sneakers, cashmere sweaters. I love the vibe and the service is always friendly. I make a point to visit whenever I’m in Boston.
Diana Khoi Nguyen: While I admire and appreciate the carefully curated items, I found the staff who worked here to be extremely unpleasant (dismissive glances, fake quality to their speech, loud, complaining voices). It was disheartening to me that the staff attended to a older white woman (offering to carry her selected items to a dressing room), even though I’d been browsing for much longer and was also carrying a lot of clothes in my arms. I couldn’t help but feel invisible as a woman of color, and a pregnant one (in the third trimester) at that. I would have bought more items but couldn’t justify supporting discriminatory behavior.I don’t need to be doted on at all; but I do ask for kindness and equity, perhaps even inclusivity. I’ve worked in retail, customer service, and in many different sectors of business, and know it is possible.
Stephanie Crissey: I just popped in while on my visit to Boston. Wasn’t expecting to find such a cute spot. The owner was was so nice and I love the tunic I got. A real one of a kind find.
Franco ocnarF: Love this place! I've shopped here a couple times now to find special gifts for my wife. Each time I've been able to find just the right thing that really made her light up. :) The owner was very knowledgeable about fashion and trends which was a big plus since I know a lot less about these things. Selection is great and it's fun to dig around since there is such a variety. The vibe is cool too. I'll be back!
Carolyn Marut: The well-curated selection, fun and pleasant interior, and warm yet non-overbearing customer service make for a delightful shopping experience. I visit Castanet every time I’m in Boston and it’s always a highlight of my trip. During my last visit, the owner made a couple of indirect comments indicating that she deeply values her consigners and treats them well. This makes me feel even better supporting this small business whenever I’m in town.Last weekend, I walked out with an armful of wonderful purchases including Frame leather shorts, an MZ Wallace crossbody travel bag, and a cashmere and lace sweater by Nina Ricci — all in beautiful condition.
Dennis Legislador: I had very wonderful and successful stop at Castanet during a weekend trip to Boston. I was looking for special items to give as Christmas presents for some female family members and Castanet did not disappoint! Clothes, shoes, and accessories available at Castanet are very well curated and has lots of variety to choose from. Carrying high-quality items from well-known luxury brands as well as from smaller boutique ones, I also found Castanet to be able to cater to different price points and budgets. During my shopping experience here, I felt no pressure (as I usually do when I'm shopping at other stores) while browsing through the various racks, shelves, and displays. I also felt very well attended to when I did ask the store owner some questions. I left very satisfied after purchasing a scarf, 3 bags, and a wallet that will be great presents for my sister, sister-in-law, and mom. I'm so happy that my visit at Castanet has successfully started my early (for me) Christmas shopping for this year. Castanet should definitely be a must-stop when visiting Boston!
Vivian Shih: What a treat! My daughter and I found Castanet entirely by mistake and each walked out with a few things. Clothing and shoes are in very good condition and there were no pulls or stains in ANY of the clothing. The people who work there are very friendly and have a very good eye for qualityl. If you've got a "thing" for designer shoes and handbags and love consignment shopping this is a must stop.
Veronica Murtagh: Castanet is a secret treehouse of treasures perched above Newbury St. We were recommended to stop through on our trip to Boston and left with several great finds! The staff has put a lot of effort into curating a unique selection with something for every taste. We’ll be back!
Neel Vasavada: Every single time I see the folks at Castanet I leave with something amazing - they have a knack for finding things that are so “me” - my favorite lemon quartz amulet, this amazing shoulder bag and they picked out the most amazing PJ’s for my partner’s birthday!
Thais Collins: My go-to for all interesting, unique, vintage (or not) finds. Always a fun time shopping surrounded by cool pieces and great customer service. Hands down, the best!
AV: Staff shade-talked my outfit in my presence while I was shopping only a few feet away. Funny seeing this behavior in a consignment store. Only 5% or so of stock in high-end designer at the time I visited, but decent selection. At the end of the day, I would rather take my money to Vestiaire Collective, TheRealReal, Grailed or elsewhere.
Kat Dawson: Okay store for what it is, but just okay. Not a lot of parking.
Nadia Therese: Poor customer service. I felt I was treated disrespectfully when I asked simple questions.
Kerri Des Jardins: So in love with this boutique! I've made it a point to travel to Boston, just to shop before :-P Amazing collection of designer brands, at consignment prices. I'm own a Dolce Gabbana dress thanks to Castanet!
Yvonne Weber: Very expensive and small collection
Matthew S.: Overall, this is a great store. They have a really great selection of both men's and women's clothing and accessories at different price points. Of course, higher end items will cost more, but that should be expected. However, I wish the store was in a different space. Its very cramped and hard to move around the clothing if there are more than four people in the store. I was also declined over the phone for trying to set up an appointment to bring items in with the reason being that they only took stuff from current clientele. Umm what? How are you denying making money? How do you get clientele unless you meet new ones? I was baffled that they would deny a new, possibly great client. I had stuff ranging from Ralph Lauren and Vineyard Vines all the way up to Burberry and Louis Vuitton, but now they won't get the chance to see that. Also, the shoes there are really gross. They are supposed to be an upscale consignment store, but 200+ dollars for a pair of really worn and stained Jimmy Choos seems a bit much.

Apple of My Eye: what do users think?
Mario Barrenechea: You can always find seasonal clothing for infants up to kids at this small-but-mighty store. Highly recommend!
Cassandra Clark: Such a unique store to have in town. I was impressed by the variety of items they had from maternity clothes to parenting books, baby clothes and baby gear.I will note price wise, it’s about the same or a bit pricier than stuff on marketplace. But definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Katherine Tarca: Wonderful local consignment shop for young kids and maternity.
Kimberly Mazzotta: I have bought amazing quality maternity clothes, baby clothes, sleep sacks, baby gear, books and toys here.
Heidi Brooke: Always find something that recommended highly
Nicole MacKinnon: This used to be one of my favorite secondhand shops but unfortunately the clothes have become a little too expensive for secondhand clothes. I find myself asking whether or not it’s worth it. I could buy clothes from Hanna Andersson during off seasons/sales and spend the same amount of money for brand new clothes. $18 for a used kids dress is a little steep😓I appreciate the quality of the clothes they take for consignment here but the prices are just getting higher and higher, so it’s really deterring me from returning over the years. It may be due to a variety of components, but unfortunately it’s becoming not worth it to shop secondhand here. There are plenty of small shops in MA whose prices have not jumped so steeply, so I’m stuck asking myself why this one has? Sorry, wish I had a better review… But I’m just a little disappointed after shopping here for some years.
Alysia E: Stopped in for maternity clothes, finally got to try things on in a store! Felt very safe with social distancing, even in the small store. Very reasonable prices and super cute stuff!
Samuel Leroy-Melamed: This shop has been an absolute godsend for my wife and I during our time in Melrose. The staff is incredibly responsive to Facebook messenger inquiries. Most of the time, we're just looking for something specific and affordable for our son (i.e: a rain coat, boots). The staff gets right back to us, put the item aside, and we come in. We can usually even pay in advance via Venmo! One time, even, I had the son in the car with me, and the staff kindly came outside with our item so that I didn't have to take said son in and out of the car seat.I guess one additional note: Fairly ample street parking in front of/near this place, as well.
Jennifer Difusco: Such an incredible children's consignment store! Incredible selection of clothing and the owner is a gem!
Melissa Whited: Love this place. Pretty small, but tons of stuff. Good quality children's clothing and maternity clothes for reasonable prices, and the owner is super sweet. Lots of other baby gear, too, like baby carriers, bottles, and toys.
Joyce Lin: I've appreciated their helpful staff who didn't try to oversell me things as a new mom. Thanks to them, I was able to find maternity clothes and some starter swaddles. I really enjoyed getting to sample things with my baby to see what works for her without spending full price. During covid, they were helpful via messenger, so I could shop virtually and my husband could just pick things up in the crazy newborn weeks. Thanks!
Jane Smith: I was expecting a little more of a selection, but for a small shop it seems to be packed wall to wall with all different things. Definitely worth taking a look
Shannon Artz: I love bringing my daughter here. We just moved to NH so come less often now, but it's always a good time. My daughter plays with all the toys while I find some awesome clothes. You cant beat the prices and the condition of the clothes, they always look brand new! Can't wait to come back!
Kateryna Cuddeback: Great place for gently used children's clothes & gear. It peters out around 8 y.o. for boys, & 10 y.o. for girls. Always one of my first stops, & often my last.
Elliot Franford: Great store for getting all kinds of things for your little one. The inventory changes often enough that it warrants frequent visits. The store is also organized in a way that makes it easy to find what you're looking for. Also, the staff has always been friendly to me and my family. I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the market for some great items for an expecting family, your baby, toddler, or big kid.
Jairon Lopez: Amazing place!
Sarah P: Good prices, good variety, nice staff
Jessica Chasse: Love it here! Great selection and fair prices.
Adam Farrow: Small shop with a large selection
Jessica O'Hare: I always find something great here.
Aggeliki P.: Great prices great selection lots of baby stuff

Closet to Closet Kids Resale Boutique: what do users think?
Julia Meynert: Love this place! So glad we have this store in our neighborhood.
Jeannine Bell: The owner is very knowledgeable about the inventory and there is an abundance of it. Best consignment for children’s clothing in the area.
Jenna Marseille: This store is a hidden gem that I wish I knew about sooner. They have some of the top kids brands like Hannah Anderson, Lily Pulitzer, Mini Boden, Vineyard Vines, etc… for affordable prices. And even though most of the stuff is 2nd hand you would never be able to tell because not only are the clothes in perfect condition but the store is very clean and organized and looks more like a boutique than consignment store.
Ederlane Amâncio: Minha experiência é sempre encantadora, tem de tudo lá! Qualidade excelente preços ótimos!Atendimento muito educado!
Caroline Finnerty: My favorite place to shop for my daughter! Wonderful clothes in great condition and everyone who works here is so helpful and kind
Ruth Mullen: The store is amazingly organized, and all the employees are so nice! Everything I found was high end and top brands, but the prices were thrift store prices.
Esther Williams: Beautiful, eclectic pieces and fun airy, open atmosphere!
Timothy Rains: They have so much interesting clothes, jewelry, and beyond! Will definitely come back.
Rachel Aronis: This shop has an excellent variety of clothes and accessories, all for a fraction of the price you'd pay for new. I've had terrific experiences buying clothes for my kids for more dressy occasions and every day clothes. My daughter even asked for a Closet to Closet gift card for her birthday! Paulina is extremely helpful and only stocks clean, quality clothes and accessories. Highly recommend!
Thao Nguyen: The selection of clothes and shoes have been great every time I’ve gone in.
sharlea gomez: The perfect place to shop as a certified thrifter! Always has awesome clothes by great brands! I definitely will recommend stopping by to shop. The owner is very friendly, helpful and keeps the store well organized.
W Baslock: Very helpful staff. The clothes are in good condition and high quality. Great seasonal selection.
Susan Bornstein: My first visit and I was so pleased with the store!
Heather Gittelsohn: I always have such a great experience when I am there. The place is always kept very clean and Paulina, the owner, is always so sweet and pleasant to work with when I bring my clothes in to sell. I highly recommend this place and the brands she carries are great.
Christina: I had an incredible experience. Very lovely and helpful staff and I loved the layout of the store. Amazing prices and just overall wonderful shopping experience.
Jeannette Kuske: GREAT kids clothing store with wonderful brands! So happy to discover you!!
Kim Mai: I dropped off two bags of very high quality girls and boys clothes and only received $40 for all of them. I hope people do get good deals for nice clothing there, but I won't be selling any more there.
Kimberly Yaari: This is a great store! The merchandise is in excellent condition and the store is beautiful and clean. I always buy more than I sell- they have great prices on like new items.
Megan Walls: Amazing deals and brands. I wish they separated clothes by SIZE instead of gender. I have three children ages 5, 6, and 8. Just easier if things are not so grouped by gender since its 2020 and everyone can wear everything. It makes the boys feel funny to buy from the "Girl" section and vice versa. Love this shop!
Meg Davis: Staff is welcoming and helpful. Clean and well maintained inventory. Often find quality brands at reasonable price.
Ellen Korpi: This is an excellent second hand clothing store for children with very high quality merchandise that is presented in a professional way by the owner. I am not much of a shopper but this is one store that I really miss during the lockdown.

The Goodwill Store: what do users think?
X Z: I love goodwill but this location has an awful smell when I walked in on Saturday. Had to leave after 2 mins. Plus, they don’t take donations rn.
Ariel Sokolovsky: A lot of great bargains every day. Polite, helpful staff.
Chris S: Saw Chaim Bloom shopping for pitchers here
Honey Brown: Stephen, you ROCK. YOU made my 1st time visit into this Goodwill an I can't wait to return to this Goodwill. Thank you Stephen for being so helpful...Just visitng Boston .... Beale st awaits your return, Stephen
Janet Cook: Steven is the greatest, my best experience was because of him.Thank YouFrom Memphis.
Eneida Barros: My favorite Goodwill store; always has good stuff and high end goods. Lately, carts are super scarce so good luck. I really like their selection of kitchen wares and purses. If you like to thrift, this location does not disappoint. Good luck!
Daniel Moore: The store itself is great, but 9/10 that I try to go I can't because the neighboring club has 90%+ of the parking spaces tow-reserved at all hours whether there's a show or not. You can circle the block of for half an hour and never find a space between the club and the BU police who seemingly have reserved every other space within a 3 block radius. I guess the city of brookline just doesn't want people to be able to patronize goodwill, or raising canes, or el jefes, or the smoke shop, or the bank. Must be nice to be part of the local parking elite. If your one of us peasants, I still recommend the store, just know you likely won't be able to find a spot because the cops and the club have them all reserved for no one in particular at some time in the future, despite them being empty most of the time
Sandy 2: Why does the petite foreign woman at the register still have a job? She has been there for years. She is beyond rude. She over charges for items and then acts like food is coming out of her grandchildren's mouths, when she is questioned. Prices are posted. This is the third time she has overcharged me. It’s not the money, it’s the point.
Govinda Raut: I believe that Goodwill store is a model of social business where people can donate thier cloths and other household stuffs. Needy one can buy at cheap price. All walks of people visit this store. Hope you too love it and replicate at your place.
Jasmine Stewart: They have very good quality of products on display. They got the most amazing price !!!!!
Staphanie Bakar: It's been a while since I shopped there, Spring 2016 but what I bought I'm still wearing. Great selection, quality and pricing of clothes. People are shocked when I tell them I got it at Goodwill! Glad I found you.
Grace Z: Very big goodwill rack store. Nice selection of women’s clothes, kids clothes and miscellaneous items
Ryan Glick: Honestly, I had a blast.
Ada Rivas: Muy mal fui agredida por una empleada bracileña y discriminada
Kjax: While i was console and game hunting on my vacation in Cambridge/Boston area, I visited this Goodwill. Books and dvds were misplaced in random areas, there were clothes on the floor, and many of the video games had been stolen out of their cases. it was utter chaos.
Owen Pullman: Love this place - they have great designer clothing for such a steal.
Jennifer Quintal: Clean, Bright, Well Organized store with Super Helpful Staff!
Cameron Bennett: One of the best thrift stores I’ve been to! great finds and great prices.
Suzanne Locke: I’ve found a ton of name brand clothes in great condition at this thrift store! Definitely recommend!
Flynn Suvia: This is the best Goodwill location in town. Definitely visit around the end of a BU semester - you'll find some incredible stuff.
Blakely Blaine: The lady working the cashier is extremely rude. I tried to give her the benefit of doubt the first time it happened, but every single time I’ve been to this Goodwill she has been rude to me along with other customers. If you don’t want to interact with people, don’t work in customer service. There is no need to have an attitude with every single person checking out.
