Lance Pogodzinski: The skates say used but they appear to never have been worn. Less than half the full price for an absolute top of the line goalie skate. Shipped to my house in 3 days. You boys are a bunch of beauties! Thank you.
adrian bradley: Very rude employee named John, shouted at my son unnecessarily for bouncing a tennis ball. A simple " hey bud, no bouncing balls in here." Would have sufficed. Manager Avril said it may have been a safety issue, and condoned yelling at kids as a first resort. I explained my son was not being unsafe, and even if he was, a simple please don't do that would have sufficed. Poor employee, poor management, poor experience.

We didn't know much about skiing, so we asked a lot of questions. John helped us tried different boots and looked up ski and snowboards. He gave us great advice too. We all appreciated his help. The rental price was fair and reasonable. The rental equipments are new or nearly new.

Head on the stick needed restringing, but that was no problem. Folks were responsive to all the questions I had when asking for more details about gear condition/ specifics. My order arrived (in Cali) in about a week in a big, sturdy box. Will be keeping an eye out for more nicely priced gear from these folks.

Brye Andersen: Hands-down the best bike shop in Boston. Hands down the best bike shop I've ever been to, I'm from NYC and in Boston for college. Staff is incredible, they don't upsell you and don't have the elitist attitude I've found prevalent at other bike shops I've gone to. For example, when I went for a tune-up last year, I went in expecting to replace my slightly-worn tires but was informed that they're still good. They understand that different people bike for different reasons and everyone's needs are different.Repairs are quite quick, and should you need to leave your bike with them, they give you an accurate itinerary of what work is needed, when that work will be done, and call you when it is ready to be picked up. Living in a dorm and working as a bike courier my old beater of a road bike unfortunately is exposed to the elements more often than I'd like it to be, yet I've always walked out of here confident that all the work I've paid for was necessary to keep it in safe working order.

Tiger Audio: I give FAIR ratings. I give poor ratings when I get poor service. If a place is exceptional, I take the time to give 5 stars and that is what these folks deserve. I was in a real bind. I made it there about 25 minutes before closing. They loaned me tools, got me the part I needed desperately, showed me how to install it, which I did, got me aired up, and on my way. I was the guy with the 2 wheel mobility scooter that got a flat tire. EVERYONE there was helpful. If I lived in Boston, I would buy a bike from them and get all my parts from them, even if I didn’t ride a bike.

And if that wasn’t enough they have tightened my brakes and adjusted my gears (both sorely needed) without charge. Only bike shop I use in Boston. They are excellent.

Looking around for about 10 mins none of the employees offered to help us. It seemed as if they were even trying to look away so we left. And worthless is a perfectly acceptable adjective to describe the mechanics and their attitude, just read the other reviews, all dismissive and rude when you come in to ask for help. One must wonder, what kind of business is someone running when they turn away paying customers?

Brendan Fogarty: Really great experience taking my toddler to get his first helmet. The owner got down on the floor to kiddo-height and was so patient finding the right fit.
Radu Nan: Service is mediocre and lacks attention to detail. I had a break pad service done. I requested a break rotor fix too and was told nothing was wrong. The break squeaks. The belt drive was poorly reassembled and now squeaks too. Don't trust this shop for more than basic work.
Jared de Uriarte: 10/10 experience, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Very approachable, which is a pleasure since sometimes bike shops can be very intimidating. Got a whole lesson on how to fill my tires. They also offer a flat tire repair 1 week guarantee….if you get another flat after they’ve fix it, they’ll give you another one free under 1 week.
Lambdaman: I went on vacation left my bike with them for 2 weeks expecting a clean tuned bike, I came back to the same dirty untunned bike , DESPITE ME CALLING A WEEK INTO IT CUZ I KNOW THEY ARE SLOW IN EVERY SENSE of the word , and they assured me things were on schedule, and nope they lied. Dale Gensler: In short, I needed the rear wheel rebuilt on my electric bike due to breaking spokes, which they did, but communication about the repair was nonexistent and the process took nearly 2 months.I initially called this shop to see if they would service an ebike, to which they said i would need to bring it in first to get an answer. I brought it in and the person who looked at it seemed hesitant to accept the repair but they did and they told me they wouldn't get to it for about a week and a half but I will have a quote in a few days. I said that was fine since i didn't make any kind of appointment.A week goes by, no word. So i call, to be told they haven't gotten to it.Another week or 2 goes by, I call, no they haven't gotten to it, no quote.Another few weeks, I call, no information.Another week, I call, yes we are taking it apart to get measurements to order new spokes. I said great, so it should be done next week most likely? The person on the phone said maybe.I wait 2 more weeks and call, they say they need to take it apart to get measurements. Haha what? I tell them they already did that. I get put on hold while they figure it out and only get told yes the spokes are being ordered.Another week, I call and ask what is the ETA of the parts? No answer other than this week.The week goes by, I decide it was worth to take a trip there myself to see in person whats happening. Surprisingly the same day the parts arrived and the repair was completed.Not once was I contacted by the shop except when it was done, and I likely wouldn't have brought my bike here knowing the time to look at it is 2 months out.

Jonathan Foster-Moore: **EDITED**Sad to say but Ferris Wheels is no longer a business I feel like patronizing with my money, time, or attention. I dropped my gravel bike off at the end of June - it needed a ton of work - and thus was told it wouldn’t be ready until July 11th. Tough, but I understand bike shops are still very overwhelmed. However — when 7/11 came and went without any calls or updates I called myself the next day and found out from an employee that because the head mechanic had quit, no one had touched my bike in over two weeks. Infuriating to say the least. No apology, nothing. Less than two hours later, I received a phone call that magically my bike was finished. No way you can do a full tune, F/R wheel true, BB overhaul, rear hub overhaul, and swap out tubeless tires in less than two hours and have it be good work. After picking my bike up it has a new rattling sound coming from the rear hub. I emailed Jeffrey Ferris the owner at the general email address to discuss my dissatisfaction and haven’t heard any response. I took my bike to Bikes Not Bombs soon after and had a wonderful experience - friendly, knowledgeable and a quick turn around! Don’t waste your time with an incompetently run bike shop like Ferris Wheels 👎

Tony Cruz: I went here to buy a new bike because I put over 5000 miles on my previous bike (A Schwinn) and I wanted something better, more durable and a little faster. The owner (Mr. Ferris) had one of his associates help me pick out a bike suitable for me. I settled on a Jamis Coda 21" Hybrid bike. I was able to take it out for a test drive before deciding on purchasing it. I was impressed with how the bike handled and how fast I was able to go. I did 20 miles around the Franklin Park Golf Course. The path around the course is exactly 2.5 miles. I tested to see how the bike handled going up hill and it handled really well. I finished in 73 minutes. A personal best. I strongly recommend you come down and see what they have in stock.

Patricio: I waited 5 weeks for my bike that was supposed to be shipped in 1-2 weeks before I just gave up. This is 2023, not pandemic. I wrote to Stryde after zero updates during that time. They wrote back and said "the warehouse is behind and we don't know when your bike will ship". That sounds to me like production is behind, and not the warehouse. So, that same day I said I wanted to cancel my order. They wrote back the following day and said that "we had the numbers wrong and your bike is ready to ship!". They did this only after I wanted to cancel, and then claimed they had to "restock" the bike for 200$. So either they are really unorganized, they reallocated someone else's bike to keep my order, or they just made my bike instantly "ready" to claim the bike left the warehouse and now they have to "restock" it. So either they are incompetent, or lying. But either way they are basically stealing 200$. I will gladly eat the 200$ to be rid of my relationship with Stryde.Read closely. It may be a good bike at its best. But if you have any technological problems, bike tech problems (loose pedal, bad bearings, noises, looseness, etc), you are on your own. Hope you signed up to be a mechanic and computer tech. You will only get that chance after you wait somewhere between 1 week and infinity to receive the bike. I read about them under trust pilot reviews and all of the reviews have similar problems.

Bethany Karlberg: I used to love my bike at the beginning but we have had an AWFUL experience. After the year warranty ran out, literally the very next month, the bearings in the pedals went out. We reached out for a solution but since our warranty window was closed they sent us to their third-party repair service, KATANA. We sent them a video of the problem, they sent us the bearings that we had to purchase with NO TOOLS, NO INSTRUCTIONS and refused to send a technician out to help. We had to order multiple tools to fix the bearings ourselves and reached out to customer service multiple times for help- to no avail. The handle bars are also extremely loose and won’t hold their position of height. I do A LOT of research before purchasing big items like this, and thought I was getting a quality product. Needless to say, the product has been unsatisfactory purchase for a $1500 bike. It should not be falling apart at the year mark and now I wish we would have went with Peloton from the beginning. More expensive but my friends’ bikes are at least a quality product long-term.
GinaMarie Garchar: Not recommended!! Purchased this bike in November of 2020. The saddle post is not designed properly and it has torn or snagged every pair of exercise shorts or tights I've used while riding. The user page on FaceBook had suggestions such as placing a sock over it to prevent this, using a piece of pool noodle, duct tape, etc. After spending this amount a consumer shouldn't have to make these ridiculous corrections. I contacted their customer service multiple times and was told when the 2021 model was out they would replace the faulty part. As of June of 2022 the response is, "the new model isn't out". If you are looking to use this bike for training on a regular basis, just get the Peloton. The Peloton app is so much better with much better instructors and classes.If you are new to indoor cycling you may not mind tearing exercise clothes or using a sock on a $1500 bike to prevent the damage.
Aj Picchione: Tablet was glitchy. 2 weeks in, metrics were not recording, so was told by Stryde support to unplug and reset every time I experienced that. After a few times unplugging and replugging, the monitor jack stopped working altogether. I told Stryde that the monitor was defective, they told me it was the cables and had new cables sent (which took well over a month). It took 2.5 months for Stryde warranty repair person to come to my house and tell me that the old cables were fine and that the monitor was defective. I was told that Stryde would promptly send a replacement monitor; that was 3 weeks ago and I have yet to receive the monitor. so I have owned the bike for about 5 months and have been able to use it for about 1 month. Do not buy this bike.

Leslie Shaver: Great, sturdy, high quality bike. I have never enjoyed exercise as much as I enjoy this bike and the Stryde app classes. I actually look forward to it. There are some occasional glitches within the app, nothing major, but the app and the unlocked tablet are absolutely worth it. And Stryde is responsive when it comes to customer service. Can’t sing it’s praises enough.

I was 3 months post-partum at the time and absolutely hated the way I looked in the mirror and the way I felt. I have never been one to love the gym (even as an athlete in college) and every diet/fitness program I had tried since having my first child 3 years ago failed miserably. I started seeing commercials for other big name stationary bikes and wanted to be a part of the "in crowd" but when I started doing my research - I realized it would be months before that bike was delivered. When I want something, I want it right away so I started researching other options and after what felt like weeks of looking into EVERYTHING that was out there - I decided to take a chance on this up and coming company! I ordered my bike and it was delivered within 10 days. Setup was quick and painless and the bike is incredibly sturdy. After 7 months of riding, I have had zero issues!I couldn't be happier that I chose Stryde - it has literally changed my life. I LOVE working out now - I thought that I would use the tablet (it's unlocked) to just binge watch Netflix while riding but I fell in love with the Stryde app and instructors. They have been just the motivation I needed. Between that and the most amazing community of riders, I truly feel like I have found my tribe. I'm down several dress sizes and feel better about myself than I have in YEARS!!! My friends and family have all noticed the differences and when they ask me what changed - I always tell them about Stryde!
Milena Simpson: Stryde bike was the answer to my prayers. With a toddler, it was hard enough for me to go to the gym before the whole 2020 ordeal, and then adding that my physical (and mental!) health was struggling. I got my bike a little before Christmas of 2020 and have loved it ever since. The bike has a super high quality and it is very comfortable. The instructors and classes are amazing, and what I love the most is the sense of community Stryde has.

I was ready to get back to a healthy place and I had been running for a while, but just couldn't bring my self to love it. I kept seeing ad's for that other bike and was sure it's what I needed. At the time their shipping was like 6 months and the price tag made me gag. I never rode a stationary bike, what if I spend that much and hate it!?!? So I did what I do and researched the heck out of indoor cycling bikes. As soon as I found stryde and saw everything they offer with the great quality bike and unlocked tablet that allows you to do their classes or download other spinning apps or even just watch netflix and spin(or hulu or disney or whatever your thing is) I knew this was the better option for me.I'm 6 months in on my bike and have done a ride almost every day and have had NOT ONE single issue. The quality of the bike is amazing, I love the big UNLOCKED TABLET and their variety of classes they offer just literally has me hooked!If you're in the market for a great indoor spin bike with immersive classes and an amazing community of other riders and instructors who actually interact with you then this is absolutely the bike for you!
S. A.: I DO NOT recommend this bike. I got 2 weeks out of this bike. It started making a knocking noise, and after 3 repairs, it's worse and they cannot fix it. They're sending a replacement which i asked them not to do. I requested that they deduct their restocking fee ($250) plus a generous amount for the tablet since i can't ship it back w/o original packaging. First they said they couldn't refund because i used their bread loan option. When i said that it was paid in full, they said they can't because it's paid in full.They wouldn't return the bike saying they require original packaging. will not refund. i've had this bike for 3 months. That's it. All parts have been replaced. Took this long for them to decide to replace the bike. They say their policy is industry standard, but it's not. Peleton, Echelon has far better policies and take responsibility for their product. Don't compare these products. Stryde doesn't come close.I don't trust their quality. The company seems shady. There's no listed phone number. No information on the officers of the company. nothing.

Matthew Capobianco: Terrible customer experience. Little to no help with little experience. In order to sell a 200 shoe you need to have someone that can field the most basic questions which they lack completely.
Molly Pratt: Service in the shoe section was very poor. If there is no way for customers to grab sizes then there should be more than one person to help.
T R: This location is my favorite it’s always organized and has lots in stock. Staff is always kind and helpful. My family and I enjoy this store.

Convenience and in-store see-it-in-person shopping at old site of the Meadow Glen Mall in Medford. Bought some nice Blue Label Seaguar 30 lb fluorocarbon leader. Happy.

John Maguire: I always feel in good hands at Landry's. I've been riding a bike since age 7 and I'm still riding almost daily at age 70. Landry's is as good as it gets for me.
C Hinrichs: Went in today and Declan helped me (thin that was their name).Just got a new bike and had a dog carriage attached. The bolt came off and I came in for a new one and I also had trouble adjusting my seat. They were patient with my questions and seemed genuinely happy to assist me.

Landry’s is incredibly approachable for whatever my needs are and they work hard to find the right, cost appropriate solution.

They said to drop it off the next day (Tuesday) and it would be ready on Wednesday. I dropped it off Tuesday, and the technicians said they could do it right away, so I wouldn’t have to come in again. Sarah and Parker did a great job. Definitely come back here again for future needs

The manager came over many times to ask me to control my 3 year olds. Did he offer to help my daughter and me learn how to choose equipment? Nope. I told him if someone could help us, I could hold my 3yos hands. He told a high school employee to come over. The kid pointed to the skis again instead of moving and picking out some options for my daughter. I will travel 25 or 30 minutes every time to go to Stoneham or Dedham. I have tried 3 times to like place with a bad experience every single time.

Chris Nackley: Be careful what you are buying. I got my pre workout here and had no clue it was expired. My mistake for going here to get it, but all the gnc and vitamin shops closed by me. Closest store, and they would not let me exchange the expired pre workout for a different one. 50$ down the drain. Scummy service provided when I called too. Tough look for the place.

Sorry 🙏 but that's just what it was.

The shoe department answered once but I was the wrong customer so they put me on hold just to get the operator. Spoke to two different managers. One told me that they couldn’t just see if they had size 13 and that he needed a brand. So I told him to check Under armour, Nike or Mizuno. Left on hold a few more minutes so I went online to see if they had it at this store which is what I should have done in the first place. I just wanted to see if they had any before I made the 24 minute trip over there but I didn’t know it would take 20 minutes to get no information at all. Maybe the shoe department was really busy that day. The only thing a store has is customer service over buying on Amazon.
