janae carpenter: This was my first time at Treasured Hands. I will say they were able to get me in an out for gel-x with chrome in an hour. That being said, I had a nail break off the same day I had my nails done. I came back the next day, no big deal it was fixed. Today (3 days after my manicure) another nail has fully fallen off. I am incredibly disappointed by this, especially considering it was 115 dollars pre tip. I will be going somewhere else in the future.

Kanachi Weli: I never leave reviews, but this place was extremely horrid I was heavily inclined to. I will say the front desk staff was really nice. This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to (in terms of service). He kept pushing me to get a pedicure when I told him I didn't have enough time for a full pedicure. I expected a luxury service and was so appalled because they had such good reviews. They didn't clip my cuticule, shape/clip my nails. They charged me $41 dollars for a polish change(they just put nail polish on my toes (nothing else to warrant the steep price) . Don't know what the guys name but he was really bad he spent at most 7 minutes on my nails and was rushing to attend to the next client. The work was sloppy and extremely messy. They didn't clean up the excess polish from my toes. He left midway during my service to start working on the next client with tissues on my feet, my toes still curing, no moisturizer. I wish I could give a 0 star. So annoyed I will probably take it off cause it looks so terrible:( never coming back again
Alexa Derkasch: Had the best experience at Treasured Hands! I’d been a regular at a different salon for 6 years, but decided to take a risk and try somewhere new. So glad that I did! My nail technician was Rubie, and I can’t say enough nice things about her. Aside from her caring and patient demeanor, she is very gentle and pays meticulous attention to detail. I had a French ombré dip manicure and classic pedicure using dazzle polish (first time and impressed by the results - highly recommend for long-wear without having to go the gel route). The environment here is clean and organized and the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. A really cool aspect to their salon is that their pedicure chairs have leg supports; which makes it very easy to complete callus removal treatments without having to hold each leg up at a time.P.S. as a long time dip manicure gal, I learned that dip removal DOESN’T have to hurt like fire. The staff here tests the tools and are trained to make the removal process comfortable and painless. They are my new go to spot, I specifically get dip here because they don’t dip your finger straight in the jar (along with everyone’s else germs), they pour into a separate container and then dip your finger. Everyone is so kind, they also have a discount if you pay cash.

Maddy Anderson: the staff is incredibly professional and friendly, and my manicure looked great at first glance, but as i left the salon I just noticed more and more flaws with them— the chrome powder (which I paid an extra $20 for) was only really visible on one hand… it’s almost like they ran out of the glitter/chrome halfway through because my left hand had barely any while the right hand had a lot. There was also no shaping done to my nails and instead of using tools to trim/clean up my nail bed and cuticles, my nail tech used her own fingernail to just push back my cuticle (which barely did anything). a lot of the dip was also spilling over from my nails to my skin (aka there was more surface area of dip than surface area of my nail itself). i was waiting to write this review hoping that maybe they would at least last a long time— but nope. it’s been 6 DAYS and my dip manicure that is supposed to last 3-4 weeks is already chipping and coming off. i am rating them a 2 because the staff is so friendly and professional but if i was rating the manicure itself i would give them 0 stars.Services:Manicure,Dip powder

Bessie King: I found Treasured Hands after searching and trying nail salons across Boston for months, specifically seeking gel overlay to grow my own nails. My first manicure was with "V" then "Tee" and Trish have seen me. From the start I loved the atmosphere of the salon, it's very calm and professional. The service itself is equally great and that's why I've continued to come. My nails always look amazing, they have the latest products, colors and styles, and I come every three weeks or one month because my nails last that long. Of course everyone is different with their nail growth and nail use but I think they would equally last at least 2-3 weeks for others. The space was clean and cute, parking may be hard to find. However, poor ventilation, strong smell of all the chemicals. I put a mask on and that helped.

Aleksandra Gavazova: I've been going to this salon for years but last weekend I had a TERRIBLE experience. I wanted to give my nails a brake from dip and gel so I got a simple manicure with regular polish but the technician had an attitude and didn't really care and did a TERRIBLE job. The nail polish was patchy, the corners of most of my nails didn't even have nail polish, there were pumps and little air pockets in the nail polish etc.. The service took over and hour and a half for a basic manicure. I literally wanted to cry after that session and on top of that the manger made a scene when I calmly expressed my discomfort with the results and embarrassed the technician in front of every body by loudly declaring that she did a terrible job. Not only that the manager didn't show any empathy whatsoever but ON TOP OF THAT she OVERCHANGED ME, for a simple regular polish manicure I paid $46.............
Dalia Shaker: Terrible experience at this nail salon. The receptionist (curly hair , mestizo lady) was incredibly rude and hostile. When I arrived, she was very unprofessional, dismissive and short-tempered, making me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially if you are looking for friendly and respectful customer service.

I literally was waiting for her to finish with her call so I can ask how long should we wait till we start our appointment because it was at 11:45 and we got pushed. Then she started giving me an attitude of how busy she is and that I should be more considerate huh !!!I’m literally never coming back, on top of her attitude she literally seated someone who had an appointment after me!

Atsede Assayehgen: I came here for the first time in 2021 to get gel x extensions with a simple design and had a good experience. I believe it was Serena who did my nails. She was careful, consulted me along the way, and the nails lasted 4-5 weeks (as they should if done properly). I came again in late October 2022 and the experience was a lot worse. Wendy did my nails and she completely rushed the process after seating me late. She didn't do any cuticle maintenance (a first) and was extremely rough with my nails that there was some pain after. I also asked for a fairly simple design which wasn't done cleanly, when I would ask to fix a line she'd seem annoyed. The nails also only lasted about 2 weeks, so in all a disappointing experience.

Caroline Connolly: Expensive & dirty. Paid $75 for the same service I typically pay $50 elsewhere for, nail station was a mess (nail clippings, hair) and not cleaned between sessions. When I asked for a clean towel the nail tech put down a paper napkin over the dirty one. Considered leaving but it was too late at night to fit in an appointment elsewhere and I was in dire need. Nail tech was very kind & did a fine job, but definitely not worthy of a $25 upcharge - unfortunately will not be going back.
saray g: this was my fourth time coming here and will sadly be my last. i went for gel x nails with almond shape, and i came out with straws for nails. he filed the sides of my nails down to my finger. i had felt at the beginning that they were extremely skinny and that they felt tight, but he just said that was normal and kept going. then he asked me if i wanted almond shape and I said yes. when I noticed they were extremely narrow I told him i did not want them filed down so much but he just laughed at me and said that this is how almond shape was. it is literally not. i have gotten them done with other people before there at the same establishment and it has been fine. by the time he told me if i wanted to fix them, they were all already glued and filed, i had another appointment at 2:30 and I could not wait around just for someone to fix a mistake that could have been prevented if he would have listened to me initially. i hate to be picky and i understand that these techs have experience in what theyre doing, but if im paying for a service, then i think it is reasonable for the customer to have a say in how they want their nails to look because now the sides of my fingers feel raw and i have a very preeminent feeling that i constantly have these nails on, which should not happen.i am very disappointed.
Lilly Saunders: I absolutely love this place -- I go every 2/3 weeks to fill in my acrylics and get a nail design. I've had many technicians there and they all pay so much attention to detail, are very accommodating, and are very spot on with nail art. The pricing is expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for, so it's justified. I've attached some of the designs I've gotten below for reference. Paris Ramos: I wasn’t told there would be a charge for taking off my nails prier or the amount that would even be I originally wanted ombré but no where on the website it says they don’t do that so I found that out on arrival, I changed the design for a sold color and a small line design on both ring fingers I ended up paying 250 when on the website it said around 150 my nails are not worth that price I was never asked how long I wanted my nails when starting I asked many times for sharp pointed nails I got almonds almost circled at the end of it and tiny short nails it was my first time ever getting gel nails so I didn’t know the process and I also felt I received someone who was still training that’s fine and all but it should be spoken to the client or in the website so we can make the choice because I have friends that come to this shop with amazing nails and only costing them 115 for long nails as well and I just left feeling I got ripped off I still tipped because the woman was really nice we had communication problems but you can tell she was nervous she dropped many items and even ripped her gloves when using the machine also not her fault but the color selection for the gels are so small you really have to pick a color that you probably don’t want in the first place, idk I’m not the happy with my nails or experience nothing was even explained to me the process where I can properly ask the right questions she just always did the next thing giving me no time to say anything and I had full acrylic long dagger nails before with crazy designs and paid so much cheaper I’m not sure if I’ll ever be back here honestlyService:Nail extensions

Today happened to be her first day, and I have to say that her professionalism and talent as a nail artist far exceeds anything I’ve ever experienced at queen bee. She did my nails perfectly. I told them I wanted this design before we started and then later on when it came time to do it the lady was saying she couldn’t do it and that I didn’t ask. BumbleBee Erving (Bee): Went there for a gel French Manicure and pedicure. The lady did not listen and did not give me a french manicure and then refused to take off the manicure I did not want or request. Another customer was nice enough to ask her to at least take the gel off because she heard me say I wanted a French manicure when I walked in the door before even starting the pedicure. Complete nightmare. WILL NEVER RETUEN HERE. Worst experience ever. Go elsewhere!!

Paige Krueger: I wish I could leave a better review, but my manicure has left me in pain and with a botched nail. I came in with very long nails and the tech accidentally cut my thumb nail too short for a proper almond shape. She ended up filing down the side of the nail pretty far into the nail bed. It is very painful now, a day after, looks bad, and is not even an almond shape. The pedicure was okay, but the gel manicure is awful. 2 days after getting the manicure, the color is patchy with some bright and some white-ish spots. The edges are not neat and there’s bits of exposed nail on the side. Also she scraped my previous gel mani so hard she damaged the middle of my nail on one finger but quickly covered it up when I pointed it out.They charge $5 for nail art which is fine but I asked for two hearts and got one heart and an almost-heart-shaped-irregular-blob. Owner Allyson, KK and staff are friendly, lovely and accommodating and I always have a good experience. I’ve had tips, gel mani pedis, nail art, dips and they always last a long time. They are also sweet and patient with my 10 year old. It’s not the type of place to rush in and out if you’re in a hurry. Recommend!

Paloma Reyes Diaz: Where do I start ? This is a nail salon where you go to feel relax while doing your nails. I felt everything but that, I was anxious to start and then desperate to leave, I was frustrated with the rush, I was nervous about the quality of the work put in, I was upset at the kind of treatment I received. Let me tell you this, way before leaving this establishment I was ready to write this review. DO not come here if you do not look WHITE. I came in for a pedicure, the lady tells me that there is only one person working and that I needed a reservation in order to receive service but that she can actually take me in at 1:30 (an hour and half later) after she finish her reservation. So I wait an hour and a half, then she started doing my Gel pedicure, she DID NOT REMOVE any CUTICLES even after I brought it up to her! She applied #87 yellow gel color, but I told her #89 purple gel color lol she got upset for wasting her own time herself (she probably thought I was going to say it’s alright, you can continue but NO) Well to summarize, she was more concerned about finishing up then actually doing what I’m paying her to do, yes what I’m paying her to do because after making so many mistakes she then removed the gel shine (last step) with nail polish remover. I’m here thinking she was going to fix the situation; waited another two hours for her to be done with the next client so she can then return to me ( I really thought she was about to apply the gel coating) but NOO…she applied a regular nail polish coating smh YES UNBELIEVABLE but true. I ended up with a non-gel coating nail polish ( just regular coating) yet paid her for a gel pedicure. I paid $55 dollars for a sloppy unprofessional pedicure. This is the definition of FRAUD, these people be stealing your money. No effort at all from her part, so disrespectful. Other clients (white race) were treated with so much more respect and attention. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME if there was a 0 star I would have given a -1 honestly

Priyanka Kuklani: KK is very rude and did a pathetic job with waxing. She’s apparently the former owner of the salon and now that she’s sold the salon to someone else, she absolutely doesn’t care. She did not even want to complete the services. I have rashes all over. Waxing hasn’t even been done properly. She even forced me to tip her! Tiffany Snowden: Vibrant Nail Salon provides a premium service in a beautiful and convenient location. I have acrylic nails, so I made an appointment for a fill and two replacement nails. The attention to detail throughout my appointment was unlike any experience I've had before. The woman who did my nails carefully pushed back each cuticle instead of quickly cutting them. She also filed down the acrylic to make my nails look very natural. She completed the appointment with a lovely hand massage. It was time well spent in an inviting and professional environment. It's been over three weeks, and my nails still look fantastic. None of them have broken, and my polish is still perfect. The salon provided a 5-star service. This is my new salon. I can't wait for my next appointment!

Consuelo Deschapelles: I went in for an Acrylic fill in and shorter nails. I was told I couldn’t get the color I wanted, because I needed a new set & the new set would cost $75. According to the the board hanging on the wall it’s $37 for a new Set & $10 to take off an old set. So I asked her why do I have to pay $75 for a new set ? If the fixed prices on the board say otherwise. She tried to excuse it with $10-$15 for removal depends how hard it is to take the old set off. Then she said the length of the new nails. I replied to her I don’t want long nails I want my nails the same length as her nails. So she said $52 I said ok then she asked for shape and then I said the same shape she has, she said that will be $62. At that point I was done and over it and felt like she was trying to upsell cause she knew I was a foreigner & I also didn’t feel like I would receive a good service since she didn’t get the $75 she wanted to do my nails. I would never ever recommend this shop to anyone. Bad attitude & unfriendliness is bad for business lady.I also called at 1pm and was told I could come in at 2pm. I came in 15 mins before the appointment it is courtesy to arrive earlier. So I showed up told her I’ll be back I’ll run down to the drug store a few doors down and I’ll be back by 2 pm. I returned at 2pm to all the drama as stated above + 20mins waiting until I decided this ain’t for me and this ain’t what I want.The shop itself looks like a hole in the wall next to a construction site, it looks dusty, unkept, and too much stuff in the shop and not enough space. The only reason why they are getting a Star is because if I don’t star it I can’t post. They are not worth the 1 Star they are receiving.As I walked out, I saw the Gaelic Day Spa (thank God).Gaelic is clean, a lot of technicians & it has a completely different atmosphere compared to sky. Techs & host are friendly. If works takes me back here again I would definitely visit Gaelic Day spa & I also will recommend to my colleagues on future trips here.

And they shouldn’t be taking a whole hour and couple minutes before closing just to do your feet then do your nails quickly. I was there 2 hours before closing could of at least say come by tomorrow for your nails. I have done so many designs on my nails that they have charged me less. Never again.

Staff was not friendly and was very slow in giving back change after service (they only take cash if you are getting certain things done, in my case it was my brows). Didn't say anything at all, just took my money and passed it to another lady whom I presume might be the owner/boss. She kept on working on her client and did not acknowledge me, ask me if I wanted my change...nothing. I was so upset. I left. That was the equivalent to a 33% tip and the service was poor and not deserving of it. I had planned on getting a manicure but they left a bad taste in my mouth. I would rather take the longer trip into Roxbury and go to Upscale. I may have to wait a few days for an appointment but the ladies there have always been polite to me and do excellent work on both mani-pedi and brows.

They have done a pretty nice job for dip manicure, however, they never told me the price before they completed the work or when you show them sample photos. I was charged 10 dollars just for getting white lines on my pedicure to make it LOOK LIKE French nails but it’s nothing but gel. If you are looking for a nail salon with clear charges, I’ll suggest you just go to somewhere else.

My regular nail tech was horrified by the damage caused to my nail beds by their heavy drilling. I had a broken nail that was bleeding and completely split in HALF by their illegal work. Sulaka Warsame: Staff was nice but my 3 sisters and I booked with a tech for each of us. When we arrived there was only 3 people there and only one knew how to do nail art. I had to wait over an hour while the 3 techs worked on my 3 sisters. One tech had to switch between all of us applying and shaping the acrylics. It seems there is a vast experience difference between all three of them. My sisters and I were underwhelmed with our nails , especially for the price we paid. I also wanted to note that I given different prices between two of the techs. I also want to make note that when removing the nails it seems like they used the unsafe type of acrylic? It was so difficult to get off, wasn't easy to scrape off even after a long soak in acetone and stayed shiny throughout the removal process. S Joseph: Well, I have mixed feelings here. Typically, I would rave about Tinailery. Phoebe, Mia, and Cami are wonderful artists. However, recently I spent nearly $300 on my nails only to be serviced by a tech who said no to all my asks, did what she wanted to do, and the nails fell apart three days later. Currently, I am still waiting for them to make it right given they promised I can get my nails done to my liking at no extra charge.I am still waiting for a call back nearly three weeks laterOn another occasion, I booked a $12 nail fix appointment and was charged a $40 deposit. I canceled the appointment within their allotted time and they failed to give me my refund. When I called to point this out they told me the manager was unavailable and this went on for two weeks. I gave up and considered it a tip.I am not sure if they are worth the heavy cost anymore. I'll update you guys as to whether or not they have honored their word concerning my most recent issue.Update: Once again, Phoebe saved the day. I received an email concerning my complaint aimed at making me the culprit for their poor planning and lack of oversight. However, Phoebe personally text me and offered repair service and delivered.Will I return? Yes, until Boston gets more competitive Japanese nail salons and artists, I have no choice. But, I’ll no longer refer or be extremely generous with my tips. The manager is non existent or responsive and Phoebe (as well as Mia) can’t be held responsible for everything that goes on—it’s unfair to them.

I don't pamper myself often, but this is the best manicure I have ever received.Candice did my spa pedi and, let's be honest, feet are gross...but some are worse than others. Mine were tired, hurting, calloused, and neglected. I feel so much better now, and my feet look so much happier and more hygienic.All the staff were polite and kind, no cuticle shaming or comments about the condition of my dry hands or calloused heels. Just excellent service and great skill. Facility was clean and nicely decorated. Music was a relaxing mix of chill pop, R&B, with a touch of indie.All prices are clearly posted on the website with time estimates for their services.I highly recommend Tinailery - this was a great experience and I feel thoroughly pampered!

The gel lasts so long with no chips and no lifting, generally for me at a faster/cheaper salon the gel will lift after a week. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a quality manicure.I also love that they have online booking on their website, it's so easy. For nail art I think you generally have to make the appointment in person so they know what to schedule you out for time wise, but I've always been satisfied with the quality of their nail art. They definitely practice quality over quantity, so this won't be the type of place that can do a manicure in 20 minutes on your lunch break. Hannah Bend: I'm downgrading my review from 5 stars down to 2 purely for the booking process. There are so many great qualities about this salon but the fact that they make it so difficult to book an appt has me looking elsewhere. I tried a few other salons, decided to come back and give Gaelic's scheduling another try. I submitted a request for any technician, selected an available time that had multiple options both before and after it, and yet got a text today, the day of my requested service, saying "sorry we're busy at the time you requested." This is exactly what I experienced before as well; why have an online booking system if you're not going to keep the availability up to date??? Why do I have to jump through hoops just to get an appt when every other salon has made it so easy?

The real -2 stars comes from the guy who clipped my cuticle deep enough I bled. When I reacted in pain he said “look nothing”. Which was odd, it bled for a full 24 hours.

Bonnie Santos: Their customer service is truly the worst I ever came across. After attempting to make appointments online for about a week and every single one being denied I try to call instead and get an appointment and all they can tell me is they don’t have time because I said I’m not sure if I wanted a design or not. The girl on the phone didn’t even try to offer me another day or a different nail tech. She just rushed me off the phone. How do you get customers like that? It’s a shame because their Instagram makes it seems like they run a great business but they truly don’t. I’ll never spend another dollar here ever again and you should’ve either. Find a place that treats their customers with respect.

She was very careful and paid close attention to details like how my two hands looked together, not just individually. I asked if someone could help me get my socks and shoes on since my nails were still a little wet. I’ve been to many salons before, and I’ve always been helped in this capacity. She said that they don’t do that here. That’s completely fine! But when I asked about oil and plastic for my toes, which I saw up front, available for anyone, she became very short and angry with me.
