Yang Sun: I tried to return a bag of soil because there are a lot of flies inside. The staff told me I can only return if it’s unopened full bag. I don’t really understand how I know there are fly inside until I open it? I just throw it in the trash can in the store front.

Eutaw Street: Outrageously incompletent. I went to this store because the app told me it had the item I needed (quantityt 5) The item showed as in stock, but no one could find it. The guy actually spent time showing me the manifest to defend his predisposition that they didn't have it. Finally, I spotted it on the top rack (not where it was supposed to be). Another 20 min later they brought it down. I told the guy that I only need two not the wholesale pack, to which he wrongfully and without any basis said that they "will charge me for the whole pack (of 6) anyway". What I thought was going to be a quik pick up, took me 1.5 hours.The punch line is that my online order for the same item was cancelled. (No apologies, just a casual occurence). Mind you, I know for a fact that they had 4 more items left (unless someone bought 4 pairs of custom decorative widow shutters in 9 minutes since I saw them). Haha 😄

There's no membership discount but you can create po references at the terminal in self checkout. They run out of highly popular brass plumbing for fittings, and sometimes are more expensive than specialty stores with restrictive hours like e.w.webb.

We also bought a fridge and we were talking to another woman who was really sweet about a delivery issue and this guy came to interrupt to say there is nothing to do about our fridge delivered in the wrong place even if we left instructions, the fridge is blocking our front entrance because there is a chimney in the middle of living-kitchen area that doesn’t let us to place the kitchen where it should be, we are struggling a lot because our house is not done and this guy is just trying to block other employees from helping us with this issue, he even said when we arrived “Now what?!” He really needs a Customer Service Training where someone tells him to be nice and not throwing people belongings. Also I was looking for samples of countertops and he just talk to me like I am a child saying “What are you doing? What are you taking? Don’t take more than 3 samples” It’s extremely frustrated that you are trying to finish your house to have a decent place where to live and he is not helping even if you are not talking to him, he is just “NO NO NO THATS COMPLEX”

He even made sure I had the correct special light bulb. Lowe’s should look into cloning Deandre as an employee. By far the most helpful Lowe’s employee I’ve ever come in contact.

Kyle Evans: A little difficult to find at first, but easy to remember. Portland Group as a supplier usually have everything I am looking for, but this store is very very slow. If at all possible call ahead and try to have stuff pulled, but give them entry of time.

I look online to confirm inventory and location within the store for items I need to hold in hand first, otherwise I use their store pickup option, both of which work as hoped. My only issue is some of the codes that are used for product locations, the numbered aisles are perfect, but the letter codes make no sense, hence 4 stars, not 5

They told me I'm getting in another 7 days. 14 days to get a stove and wait 35 minutes everytime you call to check status. I ended cancelled and buy one from lowes. In overall case don't expect to much from their delivery

Bruce Band: Went to the garden center a 2 Pm today. Loaded up a flat bed with River rock and potting soil. Went up to check out and were told that the garden center check out was now closed. There were 8 of us in line and we were told we could take our flat bed in the store, but with all the plants they have lined up inside the store you couldn’t get by. They didn’t want our business, I will go to Home Depot tomorrow!

Nicolle Dananberg: The customer service at this store is very poor. While I understand that the staff may not have expert knowledge about construction and the products they sell because I'm sure they do not get paid enough but, I still expect better customer service. I called ahead to ask if I could have a 10-foot butcher block cut in half, and was transferred to the wood department. The person I spoke to said it could be done, but warned me that the edge might be a bit rough. I agreed to this and planned to sand it down myself. However, when I arrived at the store, I was told that they could not cut butcher blocks after all. I was frustrated because I had specifically asked about this before making the trip, and now I was left with a 10-foot piece of wood that wouldn't fit in my car or apartment. The staff did not offer any solutions, so I ended up canceling my order. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the lack of basic problem-solving and communication skills demonstrated by the people I spoke to. As a result, I don't think I will be shopping here again. It ended up working out because I found less expensive better quality and a higher quantity of butcher block at home depot. So I guess I should thank the rude employees.

I purchased many major appliances from Lowes and spent thousands of dollars with Lowes and the level of service that i have received as payback is appalling. I received multiple damaged dishwashers that where very much dented. Not to mention the cooperate office does not value its customers time and keep you on hold for ever waiting for a manager to speak with. I even asked if a manager could call me when they are available and the person i was speaking with said no but you can call back when it is more convenient for you. So, I can just start the whole process again and wait on hold longer no thank you. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere unless you like damaged goods and zero customer service skills.

Christopher Luongo: I haven't been to this location in a few months---what a disappointment. Nearly none of the lighting on display had a price tag or even the tag that tells you what shelf you can find it on. All of the small samples of laminate flooring were completely out of stock, and a thick layer of dust on the racks where they're supposed to be. Seems pretty obvious that no one is paying attention to their work around here. Also, they've installed security cameras with flashing blue police lights in the parking lot, a sure sign that crackheads are in the area.
julio rosa: Bad experience with David manager and Matt.I had a very bad experience, because only for the account and I asked matt to put the job name on the receipt and he said he would, but only after paying, and when I paid he didn't put the name on the receipt, I complained and asked to try fix his mistake and he said he couldn't do anything. I asked to call the manager and the manager was even more unprepared instead of resolving the situation I was even more unprepared than Matt and I see how sad the lack of training these people is, I am very well attended at the home depot and it is easy to put the job name on the receipt and at lowes it is difficult for employees to know how to put the P.O on receipts.I don't understand why this, if they doesn't work, should be at home.

Hope Star: On February 26th i went into Lowes. I was greeted by a very kind gentleman named Julio, the manager. He helped us pick out a snow blower. Beau Cote: We live local so this is our local hardware store. We used to go to the Watertown location and between the two this one is better. Register staff is generally always helpful. Staff around the store are generally not. I came to buy a Makita saw recently when the Milwaukee rep was there and literally nobody would help unlock the cage so I could buy the saw and they were all talking behind my back to the Milwaukee rep about how I didn’t know what I was doing. If you’re going to keep things behind lock and key, then have staff appropriately around the store to help. It’ll probably do the job if you need to come here but don’t expect much help. Plan ahead.
Bob Schoenberg: The store had various strong chemical smells that I had to leave. Two items I wanted they didn't have. Never found the 3rd one because I had to leave the store to get some fresh air. He got his license in 1971 and was a wealth of knowledge as he tried to help us with connectors for a portable dishwasher. The new floor manager, Muhammad, a very arrogant, angry, anti-business man who said he wouldn't accept, his excuse was that there was no room for them.After talking to some of the staff who wanted to help me, but when they found out that I had already asked him, they left saying that he decides. So there was a possibility to unload them, but he refused to do it..Finally, I called the main office in Atlanta, who convinced him to take the delivery.

At every point something is wrong and between HD, the "project management" company they use and contract it out to...it's a mess and everyone is pointing fingers. Best part when I asked to speak with a district manager, the order specialist told me to go "find the number myself" since he didn't want to escalate it any further. Worst customer experience ever.

Darwinsom: We were doing a renovation and ordered butcherblock for a countertop. They gave us a specific time to pick it up the next day. It wasn't any of the ones we wanted but it was all they had in stock at the location and we were constrained by time.Nope, they "couldn't reach it." We ask "when then?" Time given. This time, we call. Nope, not yet, it's behind too many things. Wait shopping. Go home. Come back.This totally messed us up as we were selling the property and ended up installing it, but no time left to do other things.No apologies, just "business as usual" I repeat they were supposed to have it in stock [inventory] but why give a time The Following Day if you can't actually sell it?!One star for a bad experience? That bad experience cost us money. And my renovators had to be paid for going back and forth.There are only a few people who can actually help. Older guys and they're great. But when you finally find the one of two max you that you need they're swarmed with customers.It's hard to find wood that isn't cracked. In general they are stocked though unless it's a sale & I get that.Check out: cashier allowed a customer to "oops I forgot something. Then the shopper was gone for 5 minutes. There wasn't much & nothing heavy that had already been checked through. I wasn't the only one in line there were two more behind me. I got uncharacteristically angry. I got glared at.Returns are efficient. FYI if you're a casual shopper, check the contractor area. Things are cheaper but the same. The garden center has good sales. Be ready to haul your own Christmas tree and mulch. Oddly, they will help you to your car. There's room to pull up.It's very frustrating in there. Go for the circular items.Oh and they block the disabled aids.

dEDa Deda: I go to home depot because they offer 10% off for veterans. Now they require that you download an app to get the discount. I let them know I don't have a phone capable and they say you can't get the discount. Before all that was required was showing a military/veteran ID card.The staff have very little to know knowledge about trades, building, construction, etc. I often end up explaining to them how things work. Also had to explain to two different cashiers how to do a transaction (I'm a former employer from over 10 years ago) because they didn't know how to use their own computer.

Ok And: Probably one of the worst Home Depot locations I’ve visited, only went in to grab a Milwaukee tumbler, asked an older heavyset Caucasian gentleman, with glasses, where I can find them, was quickly given attitude before I can ask the question. I ended up finding it on my own, customer service is at an all time low.

Tim M: Is the Husky lifetime warranty no longer honored in store? I went to this Natick store tonight to exchange 2 broken Husky flashlights. These came with a lifetime warranty that reads (from PDF on HD website) "Lifetime Warranty" -"If your Husky product ever fails, bring it back and we will replace it free." I even brought a paper copy of the PDF warranty file but Dave at Customer Service desk would have none of it and told me that unless the item is under 90 days old (it isn't) then it is between me and the manufacturer and I need to call the Husky 800 #.It's very disappointing to spend time driving there, picking out the lowest price Husky replacement, discussing it, driving back, all to learn that although HD still sells Husky flashlights in packaging that has the above verbiage about bringing it back for free replacement, that it isn't honored.
