Jeffrey Liu: I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent take-out order from your Southend Boston location. I have been a loyal customer for some time and have always enjoyed dining in at your establishment. However, my experience with my recent take-out order left a lot to be desired.Specifically, I ordered my favorite dish, the arepas, for take-out, and I was disappointed to find that there was not enough sauce included with my order. When dining in, your restaurant offers unlimited sauce, and I have always appreciated this generous policy. However, when I received my take-out order, I found that the amount of sauce included was not sufficient.As a loyal customer, I was disappointed that the same policy of unlimited sauce was not extended to take-out orders. I understand that take-out orders may have different policies, but I feel that as a customer, I should have been informed of any differences in the sauce policy beforehand.I hope you take my feedback into consideration and address this issue for future take-out orders. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to continuing to dine at your establishment.
Alonso Munera: A hidden Gem! I chose this spot for my first date with my wife and for over 20 years this is still the first spot that comes to mind when dining out. Our 12 and 14 year old girls can't get enough of the Maracuchitos and Datiles wrapped with bacon. Being Latin American, let me tell you, if you're looking to try authentic venezuelan/Latin american food, this is the place. The Pabellón criollo (rice, black beans, pulled beef and plantains) is absolutely delicious; it's the real deal. The empanadas are great, flavorful. The service is arguably better than the food!

Sharon Coleman: I agree with MKay -- although I don't think it was racism but just incompetence. Like his experience, just ordering a bottle of wine was an ordeal- we ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir and the server brought a glass of Chardonnay. We even showed visuals -- the service was inattentive. Seems like Tuesday night is more of a take-out night. If you are going to only do take-out, you should say that you are only open to take-out or hire enough staff that your in house guests don't feel like they are imposing on the staff....

Maggie Morio: If you like to have lunch or dinner in a clean local place, Gaucho is your place. Sort of a Brazilian cafeteria style. You have the ability to choose from fresh salads, or cooked dishes. And than comes the meat that is prepared Brazilian style, over the fire on long squares. Again, large variety of selection including steak, brisket, lamb, pork, sausage.Than you put the plate on a scale and you pay for the weight of your food. The place is clean, friendly and inviting. Go check it out. We love it and recommend it to all our friends.

P R: I was in the mood for a good barbecue type of meat the day I visited the restaurant.I had beef, pork and sausage and all that I can say is that was delicious. The beef stew had a good taste and was nice and tender. Feijao tropeiro was good.The place looked very different from the last time I was there. Lots of space with two or three television screens and a bar located in the back.The staff was friendly!The difficult part was to find a place to park my car. Very reasonable price for the amount of food I had. They allow you to get take home boxes. Very excellent customer service and the chef was super fast and very patient and helpful. They also have a bar inside that is very cozy . Lots of space. I would recommend.

minx: the food wasn't bad but the tortilla was soggy and there was a weird liquid on my friend's arepa . it made the food sweet and the box had holes in it which made the liquid leak everywhere. the second arepa had liquid that almost covered the whole arepa. the flavor wasn't bad but it was not good. won't be coming back, but i will add some people definitely will like it. just not my thing

However, the steak frites tasted really bad, it is over cooked while we asked for medium well. Also I could taste like ash from it. Not good and will not recommend. Chips with dip.. I felt like it is chips I could buy in supermarket, not worth the price either. Only thing worth to try is Steak tartare, it is interesting and tastes good. We were seated in a cozy booth in the back. The ambience was perfect, intimate and quiet. Our waiter, Anthony, was a total sweetheart and went the extra mile for us all night. The homemade rolls with honey butter that he brought out for us first were probably the best I've ever eaten and I fear I may end up craving them for the rest of my life.I got the steak frites, boyfriend got the risotto, and we split a bottle of white wine. Everything was perfect, and I really don't use that word lightly. I had such a wonderful time here and enjoyed every moment. Worth every penny and I absolutely can't wait to come back.

Jude Heichelbech: Don’t arrive early. They won’t seat you. If you find an empty table and try to sit for a moment, the bouncer will grab you by the arm and lift you up! If you try to dance for the last song of the night, staff will come and tell you to stop because they don’t have a “license” for that. After you eat, they’ll remove half your table area to give to others. Also, as others have noted, I saw a mouse run right past a nearby patron’s feet. Our waiter was great. But I found the house staff pretty rude, aggressive and patriarchal. Weird vibe. Will avoid in the future. Too bad! Cool building/live music, decent food/cocktails.

I'm sitting in full view of the kitchen and suddenly I see mice running all around and I'm like, whoa, ok. They seem to be having party of sorts. I had paid for my drink at this point and I call to the waitress who helped us to tell her what I was seeing. Apparently this was common and she said the manager would come over. The manager never showed up, but two young men dressed in all black did and at this point I am now pointing out the mice running up and down the curtains and the ones in plain view of us while we were talking. And he's like, yea, we've called an exterminator, etc... and I was like, sir! I've seen like 10 mice prancing about, this is just not ok! I couldn't believe how casually ok they were about what was clearly an infestation. Not ok!!!

After tonight that is no longer the case.Long story short- our waiter brought us the check before our dinner even arrived at the table. Fast forward 30 minutes and no new waiter came and I still didn’t have a drink. My partner got up and asked another staff member for a waiter y they said someone would be right over. We waited another 15, no one came, so we asked someone else and they sent a very stressed out waiter over who ended up giving us the wrong drinks and never came to check in about them.I am so disappointed because this used to be my all time favorite restaurant in Boston for years and it seems they have prioritized making money on increasing capacity over customer experience.**** also important to note- they added standing room in the middle of the downstairs- so unless you are seated in front of the stage/mezzanine you will not see/hear the live music anymore

Vasundhra Puri: Rude waitress that yelled at us and lied about enforcing a 90 limit. Waitress’s name is Sophie W. Please avoid at all costs.Came here to watch the Bruins play off game. Since the game is long we decided to wait on ordering food and more drinks after our first drink. After a little while, the waitress came up to us and said we have 10 mins left on our table because they are enforcing 90 min limits on tables as they had waitlists building up and claimed the hostess told us. The hostess never told us this and a friend in the group was able to sit through a full play off game earlier that week. After we said we didn’t know and wanted to put in our food and drink order, the waitress came up to friend’s face and yelled so what do you want? In a very rude and condescending tone. She spoke to us very disrespectfully . 3 tables next to us were empty for about 45 mins (attached photo). There was absolutely no waitlist or lines it seemed.

Sarah Francesca: I recently visited Lincoln and I have to say, the food was fantastic! The flavors were bold and delicious, and the presentation was impeccable. However, the only downside was the noise level inside the restaurant. It was really loud and made it difficult to hear and have a conversation. Dan M: Came in for dinner a few weeks ago. Food was terrific. I’ve been to the Harvard Sq location in the past and it was also good. The three stars is because service was atrocious. It was maybe 60 mins before they closed but was only half full so not sure why us being sat was an issue. The bartender ended up taking our table and he was pleasant but yeah just ignored for awhile and we were hungry. We will be back but probably closer to opening time.

We ordered appetizers and didn't get small plates or extra napkins (just the one with the silverware) we were all latinos, we know what a good arepa is and mine was burned and I mean fully black on the bottom side....but even if it wasn't it wasn't a good arepa at all. Don't even get me started about the "tequeños". Generic plates like salmon or ribs seemed ok but you can have that anywhere.Supposedly the sangria was amazing, but it isn't and it's full of cinnamon by the way.
