Backbar: what do users think?
Lucy Job: Payton - bespoke, knowledgeable, and fun bartender. Perfect handcrafted drinks. If you have an opportunity, sit at the bar. Worth every cent
Isaac Santelli: I love this spot! Fun cocktails and sick ambience. Only issue is that everyone else loves it too so it’s impossible to get a seat. Go there early or on the weekend to avoid the line
Sebastian Schneider: Short wait on a Thursday night, but worth it! Super nice atmosphere and great drinks. Cocktail themes change from time to time, so always something new to discover! You can get some small plates earlier in the evening from the close by field and vines or bring in food that you order.
Claudia M: Usually a very long line but great drinks
Suren Keryan: Great cocktails and atmosphere. Definitely will come back! Սպրեք
Ryan B: i understand the constraints of having a small space and a high demand, but that doesn’t excuse the experience we had last night. we got to the bar around 9:45 and waited in line until 11 - an hour before the bar closes. If the host told us it would be a long wait, we would’ve accepted that and gone somewhere else. Instead, the host kept reassuring us that a table was opening up and then he would vanish for about 10 minutes only to come back and say the same thing. It was also discouraging to watch him take bribes to let people in behind us. Finally we get sat - the host walks us to a cramped table, changes his mind about seating us, and makes us stand against a wall outside the kitchen. Our waitress, Octavia, seemed really nice and also confused about why we were told to stand where we were put. We were given menus, waited about 10 more minutes, and left without getting anything since none of the staff cared to check in with us. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We won’t be coming back and we won’t be recommending this place to anyone.
Dimitri Haddad: The atmosphere is really nice, very welcoming and friendly staff, and the drinks were amazing!
Jorge Vega: Was there for their D&D night. So much fun.
Irene Toporovskaya: Amazing spot - extremely cool decor, vibe and the friendliest service. Delicious drinks. Highly recommend!
Christopher Steele: The cocktails here are worth the wait. All the same, arrive 15m before opening if you're not that patient
Katherine Horn: Baijiu night with bartender Nick was awesome! Great drinks and excellent explanation of the history of baijiu! The cocktails are expertly made, creative, and delicious. The staff here is knowledgeable and friendly.
Raj Sheth: Sadly mediocre/bad.They were serving a lord of the rings menu and really nothing on there was noteworthy. It all started off with the experience. I don't mind standing in a line and waiting to get in a spot. It seemed like one of the bartenders was leaving that day so there was a little industry get together happening at the bar. That being said, some lady literally cut to the front of the line, no acknowledgement was made and she acted like it wasn't a big deal. Fine, you know the people maybe you even work at the bar, but you wait just like everyone else. When we did get in, the menu as I mentioned was disappointing. Of the four drinks we got, we didn't finish two of them, that's pretty disappointing for a cocktail bar when their special menu is literally 6 or 7 drinks.I'd want to give this place another try, but right now, I don't get it and there are so many great spots in Boston.
Alona Hudanets: Firstly, the waiter was weird. I tried to explain what I wanted as best I could, but he just laughed in my face, which was unpleasant but OK. We ordered three cocktails and none of them were really tasty, they were just ok which is a bit disappointing for an almost 5 star review. We were expecting something more but sorry it was just another American bar
tt L: Walked in yesterday with my girlfriend, the" special" and untouchable person these days bartender said we can't come. Ok watch on video if you are a manager and see if it's appropriate or not. It was yesterday before closing. I understand working ppl want to go after shift , and I said we will get 2 beers and go home. He judged our appearance and said to leave. Please watch the camera if you want to know details
Erika Weiskopf: Most creative cocktails and themes are always so fun! I always end up trying something I don’t think I’d have at any other bar. Real gem. Love this place!
Katherine Nguyen: Amazing cocktails and such fun ambience. They have a rotating menu, however if you don't know what you want the bartenders have a whole repertoire to create anything with your favorites. There is very limited seating, so be ready to wait in line (40 minutes).
Tom McManus: Decent cocktails and a cool setting. One of the cocktails I had was not good. When I said something to the server I was told it was me and that I could order another drink but I'd still have to pay for the cocktail I disliked. I've never had an issue like this at a bar. I will never come back here. There are much much better cocktail bars in the Boston area.
Kelly McElligott: Cute, lowkey spot with delicious cocktails and mocktails!
P S: Hidden gem. A nice little speakeasy with delectable drinks! The menu is specially fun to look at. I hope this place remains as it is forever.
Avinita Shetty: Amazing cocktails and such fun ambience. This place is a must go for anyone who loves cocktails or someone who just wants to have anything but don’t know what exactly 😊 their bartenders can make drink of your choice and they are very very talented. Best cocktail I have had in all of east coast
Estrella Sun: Latavia was my bar tender. Ask her for the surprise drink. She’s won’t let you down!

Lucky's Lounge: what do users think?
Nick Delaney: Pretty lowkey, solid drinks.
Aaron Podhajecki: Typical dive bar. Last time I was there has turned me off the place as the bartenders were extremely rude to me but yet not to my coworkers
Stacy Moore Lynch: Excellent service appreciate the level of attention from the staff who appreciated that we visited compared to other places. Thank you
Joe Barry: Great vibe, fun place !!!
laia perez fonullet: NO NOS DEJARON ENTRAR PORNO TENER EL PASSAPORTE. Pero teniamos foto y dni aun asi no nos dejaron EL PORTERO CON UNOS AIRES DE SUPERIORIDAD INCREIBLES. NUNCA MAS VOLVERE NI LO RECOMENDARE A NADIE
E. S.: Loved it. Atmosphere was reminiscent of an old, underground gentlemen's club that got invaded by college kids. Came there for my (belated) birthday dinner. Staff is cool. Drinks are good. Steak and cheese was bomb. Will be back.
Sean Peaslee: Always fun when it's not too crowded
Aaron Slessinger: Close to the Omni with a fun atmosphere.
Dan Januszek: Cool vibe and excellent Guinness pour.
Kelley Jacobs: Fun place!
Ashwin Varghese: Amazing vibes
Joshua Wolf Coleman: Cool enough, but filled with youngsters and — they don’t have live music anymore!!!
Kayla K: Go here if you want your VALID ID TAKEN AWAY. Talked down to and told I should call the cops if I wanted to prove that my ID was real.
ebru sözer: Muhteşem
Doug Roberts: Retro dive stylings, amazing pub food and great daily specials make this place a hidden gem. Can’t wait to go back!
Tony Buelsing: Tried to go to comedy night, bouncer claimed that my real ID was fake and I would have to call the police to get it back, so I did. They showed up and got it back, but the bouncer continued to insist to them that it was fake so despite the police telling them it wasn’t, I was told that I still wouldn’t be allowed inside.
Mark Diethelm: An actual divider bar in the seaport. I hope it never closes. Great atmosphere, chill crowd, good times.
GrosTaco: Been to a stand up show on a monday !
Amy Gabel: Divine fish and chips.
Chocobo Pie: The menu is really fun and it has a very tucked in, old Boston sorta vibe.
Matthew Mattson: Always fun, good atmosphere, and affordable drinks for seaport

OFFSUIT.: what do users think?
LyNéa Porche: This is a true speakeasy. Difficult to find and small. The espresso martini is THE best one I’ve ever had. Definitely try to make a reservation if you can. Worth the time and money.
Edwin Ortega: Great cocktails and speakeasy! Enjoyed the grilled cheese. Make sure to make reservations or be prepared to wait. :)
Zach Dombi: An absolutely phenomenal speak easy in the leather district of Boston. Come here frequently. Owned by the same owners of Troquet. You enter from the small alley behind the street, look for a phone number near a lantern on the wall. Call it, a server will come out and give you a wait time/text reservation. THERE IS LIMITED SEATING, PUT YOUR NAME IN EARLY. For example, swing by at 6pm put your name in for a 10pm table. Wait times can be up to 3/4 hours on the weekend. Its a cozy place with fantastic drink choices and a humorous menu. Great for conversation, music choice never misses.
Max P: The “main” entrance of this speakeasy is in the alleyway, enough it is also accesible from the restaurant (relevant because those are the restrooms that you use). Large, comfy oversized leather armchairs and appropriately dim lighting. Most importantly, they had great cocktails- was a big fan of Hired Gun. Trick of the Light was not bad either.
Chef Charles: Great evening Crab grilled cheese on point and Cookie's and bourbon I loved. Only this just drink to to much time but I understand as it one person make the drinks. Vibes great service was good. Just great time.Thankyou to staff and management
Ran Duan: Came here the other day, amazing drinks and food…only downside was my friend Brandon Ramirez .he starting drinking tequila. We all know how he gets on tequila lol…he started spilling drinks on his Jnco jeans and WBCN tool and nickle back River Rave t shirt. kept asking the bartenders to play tool and nickel back…who still listens to tool and nickel back?! He kept yelling at the bartenders tool! tool! tool! I was so embarrassed
Brandon Ramirez: Great drinks but the bartender was a bit of a tool
Madison Hook: Very cool hidden cocktail bar. Their espresso martini has officially set my standards very high
Nick Roma: Had a wonderful time here. Great atmosphere, cute a tucked away, great food, great drinks. Espresso martinis are 10/10. Highly recommended to make a reservation!
Bp Pb: Good drinks, nice atmosphere for us.
Christine Taft: A true speakeasy, as in difficult to find it! Great cocktails and the charcuterie board was delicious and unique.
Venus Zhang: Very interesting cocktail bar, I enjoyed my time there :)
Rahul Manju Goyal: Really amazing cocktail spot in Boston! We were visiting from out of town and ended up starting the evening here and loving it so much that we came back at the end of the night for a nightcap. Absolutely phenomenal cocktails! The staff was super friendly as well - very easygoing and relaxed. It’s a super cozy place so try to go early if you’re looking for a table. It’s truly a speakeasy - we walked past the entrance the first time we tried finding it. Highly highly recommend this spot if you’re in Boston!
Chad Saint-Amant: Was looking forward to coming here for a while and finally scored a reservation to celebrate with girlfriend.Very cool speakeasy vibe apparent as we walked in and we were quickly seated at the bar (a little confusing, as I expected a table).Service was friendly, but not as attentive as we’d had hoped - had to prompt server to take our drink and food orders. We ordered the chicken nugget dish as an app, which was average.I ordered the burger and girlfriend ordered the grilled cheese. Burger came out quickly but there was at least a 20-30 min delay to my girlfriend's grilled cheese. It honestly kind of sucked to have a delicious looking burger in front of me for 20 minutes while we waited for my girlfriend to also receive her food. Why so long to cook a grilled cheese? Why only bring out one person's food? Burger was also cold by the time I was able to eat. Server took the grilled cheese off the check without being asked, which was a nice gesture. However, it was a disappointing end to our planned celebration. Might be a fun one-off thing for drinks and cool atmosphere, but service and food was lacking. I seem to have had a different experience than most on here, so maybe will try again another time.
Lav: Possibly one of my fave speakeasy bars ever. Interior was gorgeous & cosy, plus the servers treated us so well. Cocktail menu was creative and gave me a chuckle, thankfully the drinks were genuinely tasty too. Music was a mix of everything. Need to shoutout the two servers (one brunette with glasses & the other brunette with a sun tattoo) for making our experience worthwhile.Regarding the entry, you’ve to call a number at the door. No one picked up when I rang, but a minute later someone opened the door and happily ushered us in.
Summer Wang: This place has a New Yorkie vibe. It’s located at the back alley and it’s not easy to find. Moreover, once you arrive you need to call the number on the door and someone will come out to get you. We follow Google map but almost got lost. However, I ensure you it’s totally worth it to place a visit. We didn’t book a reservation but luckily we got the last spot. I really like the place. All the cocktails are amazing, and the stuffs are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back and this time we would also love to try the French restaurant next-door.
MB: It would have been nice to give it a try. After waiting 20 minutes by the door and calling about 10 times, someone finally came out to take the trash out to very rudely say they were closed, when they were supposed to be opened. Time and Uber money wasted.
Aditi Shah: Great speakeasy. All of the cocktails were well-crafted and their food menu was varied and fresh. We ordered a burger and shishito peppers. Both were delicious. The mixologist even made us a drink off of the menu. The cheese course was also delectable. Highly recommend making reservations on OpenTable a week before.
Javier Madrigal: Such a remarkable space. Private and cozy but has an insider vibe. I like the whole call when you get to the door. I am excited to come back and try more drinks.
sin lord: the old yt lady at the front was truly horrible and full of racist micro aggressions. i entered this (mostly empty bar with lots of space to stand and wait) and she made me go wait outside in the cold. fine- it’s a speakeasy or whatever and their gimmick is more important than being hospitable.I held the door open just to go outside and she forcefully moved my hand and blocked the door? as if I was going to run in and make them serve me against their will? she was also rude and condescending but whatever, rudeness is just normal behavior I’ve gotten used to as a POC in boston.I’m sure this bar is nice or whatever, and I never ever leave negative reviews, but it is not a welcoming space if you’re a poc. please go to one of the many bars where you’ll be treated with dignity instead
Samantha Silverman: Terrible waitress, she ignored us. She didn’t put our order in - we put in food & drinks right when we got there, and 40 min later she came and asked us if we wanted to order. We basically had no waitress and couldn’t get her attention for anything, she didn’t even ask how the food was when it came or give napkins. She never apologies for not putting our order in and tried to lie about it. Overall, over priced, and drinks were average. Absolutely not worth the money.

Wink & Nod: what do users think?
Lara Cohen: Aims for speakeasy vibes but truly misses the mark. Went on a Friday night for drinks without a reservation. Was plenty of seating available (at least half the tables were empty), but was told we had to sit at the bar, which is fine. Bar service was fine. Cocktails were mediocre at best. Cheap glasses, average garnishes, average liquor, below average taste. Overwhelmingly small cocktail selection, larger selection of whiskey. The ambiance just misses- too bright, too much empty space, bad music. Much better, friendlier, cozier options in the area with better ambiance. Truly average.
Victor Lavi: This gave off the vibe of a TGI Fridays circa 1998 and a try hard, just off the strip, Vegas restaurant that somehow inherited the most ridiculous Fat Tuesday/Señor Frogs looking cocktail glasses. It ends up being neither, but offered more of a Marriott hotel bar near an airport (minus the complimentary airport shuttle) experience. The cocktails were weak and the offering was limited FOR A COCKTAIL BAR. 80% of the table were available but “reserved” at 8:30pm for a non-existent dinner crowd, so I can’t comment on the food. But I could smell the oil fryer from the bar, so I don’t need to try it. If you’re 23, and trying to impress someone that’s never been to a bar, or who hasn’t been to a bar in 25 years, this might be your spot. There’s a nice selection of whiskey if things like poor service, bad ambience, and limited menu options aren’t your thing.
Marco Anaya: Great atmosphere and the bartenders are awesome! There was a tall one, funny dude, kinda look like a GOT character
Steven Perry: Great whiskey bar. Huge selection, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Hannah: Me and my friend celebrated our joint birthdays and the service was absolutely fantastic!!! Carlos (our server), Emma (the manager), and the bartender were great. we will come back soon!!!
Katie Giles: Cool environment, we moved to the bar and enjoyed watching people make drinks
Roberto Chadwick: Great food! Great service! Great environment! Not to mension super reasonable prices :)
Faruk Obut: Good atmosphere, okay food, not very good service. BUT; The reason I’m writing this review is the following. We had dinner Saturday night, I left a reasonable tip for okay service. Later on I happened to notice how much tip was added to my card and it was much more than than what I tipped. I spoke the the manager about it but she did not seem surprised and was evasive when I asked if this happens commonly at this restaurant. I also saw some others mentioned in their reviews in this regard. I did not want a refund. I wanted them to be aware in case there’s a trend. This has never happened to me before but I’m hoping it’s not a common thing. This is fraud.
Anna Karavaykina: Did not try the food but the cocktails are very good, especially ace of spades (mind blowing!) Don’t understand where bad rating comes from, it’s a nice place!
Michelle Donovan: Awesome, dark, and relaxing bar. Bartenders are attentive and know exactly what they’re doing.
David N.: Super expensive food, tiny portions, weak drinks.
Paige: I was there last Saturday, the Bill was 187$ , I paid 10$ tip on the card plus 20$ cash . I just noticed today that my credit card was charged for 217$ I don’t know how !!! The food tasted good but the portions super small.
Kristopher Kelley: Wonderful cocktails and excellent small plates
Ravisara L: Wink and Nod is an underground cocktail bar located in the heart of Chinatown in Boston. The highlight of this place is undoubtedly the cocktailsI recommend trying the Tea Party cocktail. It's a delicious blend of tea-infused gin, lemon, and honey that's perfect for sipping on a night out. Another drink I would recommend for whiskey lovers is the Ace of Spaces, also known as the black card cocktail. It's a highly aromatic and complex concoction. That said, the service was a bit slow, which could be frustrating if you're in a rush or trying to catch a show or movie after. Additionally, the ventilation in the bar area might not be great, as you can smell the aroma of Chinese food quite strongly. This can be a bit off-putting for some patrons.Overall, if you're looking for a unique and intimate spot to enjoy a well-crafted cocktail, Wink and Nod is worth a visit. Just be prepared to wait a bit for your drinks and perhaps breathe in some of the local cuisine's scents.
Gina Pacelli: Chef Louis DiBiccari is outstanding. Our food was absolutely delicious, and I cannot wait to go back!
Erin Pi: We arrived a few minutes early for our 8:30 reservation and were seated right away. Our waiter, Carlos, took our drink order 20 minutes after we were seated and then we saw him twice the whole 2 hours we were there! Other staff brought our food and refilled our water once. The second time he came around we asked for a dessert menu and he told us the kitchen was closed. It was now 10:15. We then had to track down another staff member for our check. Drinks were delicious but small and over priced. We won’t hurry back.
Sergio Solis Checa: My wife and I were there on a date night, and we had a great time. The atmosphere is great, super comfortable and amazing service. The drinks were perfectly prepared, just like the food.I definitely recommend it for couples looking for a nice place for dinner and drinks.
Shayla Lynn: First time in the restaraunt last night with my S.O but unfortunately won't be back! I will say on the positive side that the atmosphere is beautiful and the main meals do taste great. Saving grace of the night was our waitress, who was very kind/attentive/apologetic.I made my reservations online the night prior and selected a 945pm reservation at the fireplace. It should be noted that you can continue to make reservations past 11pm and the place is open until 2am. We were sat and unfortunately there really isn't a fireplace let alone a fire (it looks like just a hole in the wall with metal decorations inside). Seating here is more like low lounge chairs with small coffee table in front of you. You can definitely make it work as the table has 2 shelves - plenty of space. We were informed as soon as we sat that the kitchen closes at 10pm so we had to order everything we wanted including dessert right then. It's not indicated anywhere online kitchen closes at 10 and this was especially confusing given you could reserve tables past 11. But no worries! We looked at the menu ahead of time and would've been able to order right then. Wrong! The online menu doesn't reflect what's actually being offered in the restaraunt as the menu "changes frequently". What we had wanted wasn't being offered. I hope you don't want the burger, its not there. This is true of the drink menu as well. Found alternative meals and ordered. For food, you do have the option of adding black truffle for an additional cost. IMO *always* worth it, truffles are a favorite and absolutely delicious. I ordered the steak frites and added truffle. No truffle to be found once served and I had to make sure with the waitress it wouldn't reflect on the bill ($30 upcharge for the truffle). Waitress looked too and didn't see them :( The food did taste wonderful, the favorite of the night was my boyfriends short rib. A little pricey, small portions, aesthetically pleasing. We also did order the pot de creme for dessert which was never served, the kitchen long closed. When we were ready to ask for the check we did mention that the dessert was never served. Confused, the waitress went to go check in the back saying "I do KNOW they made it, let me go check". She did bring one out shortly albeit pretty melty.Oh! Also prior to arrival, parking was very hard to find and we spent a lot of time looping around to try and find somewhere. I tried calling the restaurant to let them know where we were in case we ended up being late but no answer - all 6 times. Left a voicemail and also didn't hear back.Overall it wasn't the rare date night that either of us planned or expected. Made the best of it between the two of us but with the many negatives we wouldn't waste our time or money going back. Would not recommend which is such a shame because the atmosphere is gorgeous and the food tasted good. Clearly has potential but needs to work on transparency big time.
Hassan Thompson: Crowd and atmosphere are amazing.
Cameron Werning: Very good cocktails - Super creative riffs on classics. Food was delicious and servings were generous. Service was attentive and the staff knew the menu well. I’d definitely be back for drinks and food!
Millie Obregon: This place is a bigger speakeasy vibe like place to go to. We got seated at a table by the bar where the people were super loud and the host was super kind and ended up moving us to a table away from the bar. This made our experience way better as it gave us more of an intimate setting to enjoy our cocktails. As far as cocktails are concerned, we tried the Phoenix, tea party, and the Pal O’ Mine. Our favorite by leaps and bounds was the Tea Party. It was perfectly concocted and very smooth. I could’ve had 5 of these easily. The Phoenix tastes like a pisco sour and I did not taste my friend’s Pal O’ Mine.I would recommend the drinks here and would come back for another Tea Party cocktail!

Carrie Nation Cocktail Club: what do users think?
Angela Lewis: Drag show is THE BEST IN BOSTON,!
Yannick: Great place for a cocktails in a beautiful backroom!
Atziri Rubio: It ended up being the meanest encounter I had with a bar staff, I thought it was going to be a nice experience because the place looks amazing.Since we got there, we sat and it took ages to have a menu because the waitress told us to wait but she was never came back, so we ended so just ordering drinks directly at the bar and not having dinner. Then we headed to the back part were the pool is, there was a waitlist and we gave our names. But like an hour passed and we went to check how was the thing going, but the guy just started yelling at me that if he wrote my name I just had to wait and said “step back” “step back” while doing the gesture of pushing, not letting me explain that maybe my name got lost. One of my friends had to go again but talked to another person and indeed our name was never in the list even when we saw them writing it.We decided to leave, but when we brought up to the people in the front what happened in the back, we just received an out of proportion rudeness from the bar bouncer and staff there.I really wanted to go there since I saw the place, and my friends where visiting from abroad just that weekend and we wasted our only night at Downtown Boston being yelled at a bar.
Cathal Kelly: Unreal food!
Ozgur Oksuz: The food is great, the drinks are good. But people there are extremely rude.
Robert Crawford: Came here with a couple of friends for drinks on Saturday night and had an extremely strange and negative experience. We spent the first hour in the front, enjoying the live music and a few beers, then went to the back bar for a few cocktails. We played some pool and had a nice time until we were leaving, when a member of the bar staff came round the bar to find us and argue about the size of the tip we had given on our drinks + (expensive) game of pool: "give me $20 and we don't need to keep talking".I've lived in Boston for years and this is by far the weirdest experience I have ever had in a bar. Leaving aside the fact we did leave a tip, I just don't understand how some of the staff here think it is OK to harass customers like this.Deeply unpleasant end that ruined an otherwise enjoyable evening.
Victoria Gelmi: Loved my experience here!!! The smoked old fashioned is next level - absolutely would come again. Pool tables and dark vibes in the back “speakeasy” were amazing. Bar tenders were fantastic!
Tina Raisifard: Theme is super fun, wish some of the decor was nicer. The “speakeasy” in the back was more of a club with private events going on
Alex Jones: Food was incredible (this said by a chef of 35 yrs and not easily wowed). Ambiance, decor etc was top notch. Mojitos were spot on. Accommodated an early reservation arrival. Service was a tad sluggish but only if you work in the industry would you be so critical. No more spoilers. Highly recommend.
Davide Valeriani: Nice vibe, some waitresses are rude, music too loud
Michael Herbst: Thanks to Sharon, the manager, and Caitlyn, the back room bartender on March 10, our crew had a wonderful time. Our food was delicious and delivered amazingly quickly. The single malt scotch selection was impressive. My only criticism is the back room was VERY hot. It’s too bad the temperature couldn’t be controlled better. All in all, Carrie Nation is a good time waiting for your party.
Summer Wang: I recently visited this cocktail bar, and I must say, I was blown away by my experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. In particular, my waiter was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure that my visit was enjoyable and that I had everything I needed. Now, let's talk about the cocktails. I tried their Smokey Old Fashioned, and it was hands down the best cocktail I've ever had. The blend of flavors was perfectly balanced, and the smokiness added a unique and delightful touch.
Saqib Mirza: I recently visited Carrie Nation Cocktail Club in Boston for dinner and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The decor was elegant and chic, with dim lighting and cozy seating that created the perfect ambiance for a night out with friends. The menu was equally impressive, I especially liked the corn soup. For my main course, I had the duck breast, which was tender and flavorful, and accompanied by a delicious sauce. The cocktails were also a standout part of the experience. I tried a few different drinks throughout the night, and each one was expertly crafted with high-quality ingredients. The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly, and offered great recommendations based on my tastes.Overall, I would highly recommend Carrie Nation Cocktail Club for a special night out. The atmosphere was sophisticated and inviting, the food was delicious and well-prepared, and the drinks were top-notch. It's a great spot to impress a date or celebrate a special occasion.
Margarita Sanchez: Great place to relax after work.
Tôn Nữ Nguyễn ĐÌnh: came here after the movies at AMC, really impressed with the space and the vibe. Ordered a creme de casis spritz which wasn’t on the menu and the bartender made me a delicious drink. Will be coming back.
Brian Twitchell: Went here with a group. Food was flavorful and high quality. I had a winter squash gnocchi dish. Fish and chips entree and oyster entee both received praise from those near me. Portions were large for me, a light eater. Had some difficulty splitting the check due to their "old" payment system. Food was good enough that I don't want to remove a full star, but would remove half of I could.
Francisco Morales: If you’re in Boston and you’re looking for a speakeasy with good food and superb drinks this is the place to go to. Loved their fresh oysters with Vietnamese seasoning. The salt and pepper squid is addictive. Very welcoming and friendly vibes. Will definitely come back again!
tim white: We happen to be fans of a terrific speakeasy. We recently heard Surprise and wonder are a key factor for ones happiness. We seak out these experiences and could not pass Carrie nations back room speakeasy. The location right near the statehouse could easily be walked right by. Don’t 🙂 inside you’ll find a well done restaurant with raw bar and a band playing in the main dining room . As you make your way out back the decor deepens to a classic well don speakeasy with pool tables and libations for your evening. The place is beautifully doneIts only negative (which purest completely understand is the hidden element of surprise many of the best Speakeasy’s curate.Worth a stop in
taylor adams: Went with my friend, we are both POC. From interaction with the bald bouncer with glasses to the people inside the speakeasy, the bar did not seem POC friendly. Beautiful place but didn’t feel welcomed, won’t be going back :/
Sagar Basaula: The bartenders know how to make a good drink here.
Ricardo Gomez: Beware they don’t accept international tourist without ID. They wanted us to bring a physical passport, and no picture or other form of physical ID was enough for them.

Saloon: what do users think?
Ara Haroutiounian: Great cocktails and excellent food!
Dinesh: Nice rusty place, a typical English setup, of course it's Boston, what do you expect. Teg bartender was very friendly, and having fun with few at the bar counter, was almost closing time.A nice experience!
Alexander Nikolaev: Marco (the head bartender at the time of writing) is great. He makes delicious tasty beverages, reads the room, and runs a well organized shop. If you’re there on the first of the month, remind him to pay the rent. Also, do not order more than a dozen oysters at the time—they come quickly, no need to do so.
Jessie Giaquinto: Great ambiance, good service and food is good too. However…I paid $18 for a cocktail that was literally four sips of liquid (the Habana Affair). I don’t mind high prices for a craft cocktail but they are TINY here. My husband and I both agree the alcohol is overpriced for what you get.
Brigitte P: $19 for a drink that equated to a shot and a half of liquid is absolutely insane. Not to mention the prices on the menu were different than what we were charged. This place might be cool inside but it's severely overpriced.
N: Tucked away, Saloon is a fun spot for a night out. Delicious cocktails and great bartenders.
Jonathan Kim: The drinks were good but I’m still not sure what happened. With tip, taxes, 5% kitchen fee…. I somehow ended up paying $79 for two drinks, French fries and a burrata salad? Like what the hell?? I definitely had to reevaluate my life choices after I saw the bill haha.$12 French fries, $18 for a salad and two drinks….
Jonelle Winkler: Intrusive bar tender who invited himself into a conversation after being told it was inappropriate subject matter. Playlist doesn't suit the environment, but was told by same bartender it's to match the "crowd" on a Friday/Saturday night. But if you have a speak easy type vibe, the music was just loud and discordant. Fluffy Ted was a really good drink though!
J Cha: Had a lovely time here in St Patricks day. It was bustling like many other places here in Davis square but the staff here did an amazing job organizing and making sure everyone got there orders and drinks in. They also did great crowd control. The drinks and food was great quality despite the heavy crowd which is something many restaurants have trouble with on St. Patricks night. Im glad I chose this place to celebrate!I recommend the Hemingway ( I think that was the name of the drink ) if you don’t like tasting the alcohol like me. Its smoothy - like and very fragrant :)
Theo Klimstra: Great place with a vibe of a speakeasy! Good food selection, good drinks selection. There's parking in the area and there's a red line station and several bus connections, so pretty easy to get to.
Jesse Samdahl: Awesome cocktails. Great food. 10/10
Leonardo Allain: The cocktail was so full of lime, it was impossible to taste anything else (hen of the woods).Seasonal spritz was alright.
Kobi: One of my absolute favorite spots in Davis!! Like all the reviews say - it’s really the combination of incredible ambiance - such a great VIBE and decor - LOVE the lights/chandeliers and love the sweeping arches - craft cocktails - delicious and extremely creative (who puts squid ink in a cocktail?! Saloon!! And it’s one of my favorite cocktails I’ve had anywhere! - the Black Gold) - and delicious food - compliments to the chef!I keep coming back and back and back - but most recently we had the salmon tartare and the surf and turf - both amazing - and you gotta get the truffle fries if you get nothing else food wise!!
Sergio Gonzalez: One of my favorite spots in Davis! Get a nice pair a slacks and bring your significant other here for some great cocktails and atmosphere!
Rosemary Lopez: Finding the Saloon was a bit confusing initially since it's connected to Rockwell and signage wasn't the best. Happy we didn't give up. Food was great and cocktail was amazing. Try the squid ink.
Mary G.: Service was mediocre. Waiter was pressuring us to leave even around 10:30pm even though the place stays open until 1am (kept coming back and asking if we wanted the check). It was also a weekday and there weren’t any parties waiting for a table.
Claire-Marie Brisson: Step back in time and enjoy a cocktail, small plates, and the great environment Saloon has to offer. Their cocktail list and knowledge off-list makes them one of my go-to spots in the greater Boston area. Food here is delicious - you really can’t go wrong with anything. Try the fried chicken or get some oysters to share.
M. Mazz: Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a cool and laid back cocktail lounge. It was loud and sticky and very college-y.
alliecat1993: Hi there! I really enjoyed myself at Saloon last night!! The prawns on the bed of creamy polenta were dreamy. I had never had polenta like that before!! Even the truffle fries, which I am not always a huge fan of, were great!! The cocktails were equally impressive both in concept and flavor. Really enjoyed the Amelia Earheart and The Pickle. I posted a picture of The Pickle on my social, and it has received comments of raised eyebrows. I'm like, "Trust me, you just have to try it!" Our waiter (I wish I remembered his name), was also on point. I asked him for clarification on what "cream cheese washed gin" meant, and he gave an informative and interesting explanation - in my books, this is the sign of a great place. Thank you for a fun evening filled with great food, drinks, service, and ambience. I will be back soon!! (Gave the 4 instead of 5 stars due to cost, but it was worth it, and won't keep me from returning in the future for nights of celebration and/or treating myself or someone else).
Evan Otero: The best cocktail bar in the area. Hands down.
Umang Mistry: Black gold cocktail is a must have for Whiskey lovers

Brick & Mortar: what do users think?
Naomi Dominguez: I’m sorry I spilled my drink last night
Eric Kalis: Very chic spot, fantastic cocktails, chill vibe. Well done, y'all!
What whatter: Misleading name.
Réda Houssaim: Completely foreign to the concept of service or being nice. Too bad because the place has potential
Maya Shen: Among all cocktails we ordered, the ones from their signature section’s most unique and refreshing, recommended! The others were more standard. Friday night can get very crowded, they have a strange waitlist system, when they text you they’re ready for you, the host would lead you to a standing bar spot where it’s quite crowded and you have to wait there for another 15-20min.s to be seated.
Lydia Chew: It's a bit pricey, but it's a great spot to meet a date or friends. We initially had a little trouble finding the place - based on Google Maps, which makes the bar look like it's further back in the building than it actually is, we walked straight past the entrance and into Graffiti Alley, trying the (locked) doors there to no avail. It's actually right on Mass Ave, with a narrow entryway that leads you up a flight of stairs. There's a convenient coat rack at the top of the stairs. The place was pretty well filled out for a Thursday evening and had a great vibe, with the lights dimmed, music playing, and groups chatting and laughing in the background. We all ended up ordering the "her majesty's secret service" house special cocktail ($14), which was a delicious choice. It has earl grey tea infused vodka, local wildflower honey, and lemon. Those elements mesh together wonderfully. Just one was enough for me to feel the effects, but I'd also come back to try one of the special reserve cocktails here, which are made with top-shelf liquor and have even more of a kick to them (some of those even carry drink limits!).There aren't a ton of food options here, but we also ordered roasted mushroom tartines ($15) and tuna and fried caper deviled eggs ($9). Both smelled superb, had great presentation, and were quite tasty.
Thea Pan: Amazing cocktails without fail! Loud and crowded on weekends but oh well, it’s Boston. I love this place
Phil B: I enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. The wait wasn't bad. I recommend the Mexican Radio cocktail.
Amanda Holmsten: Friendly staff, great atmosphere and delicious cocktails
Ashley: My bf and I picked went to this cocktail bar on a Friday night. We didn't have reservations but for put on a 15 min wait list. They texted us literally 15 mins later. We were really excited. The atmosphere is very different but we loved it. We first for the Mexican radio, which was okay in my opinion it was too citrus for my taste. So the next drink I got was the Electric kool-aid acid test and my bf got the Oaxacanite. These were way better than our first drink. Well def recommend this place to friends
KR Marañon: That second date spot that could secure the deal, cocktails rack up quick and seating could be very limited.
Michaela Harris: First time going last night and the drinks were AMAZING, staff was so attentive to needs and great ambiance all around. Will be back again!
Siddhartha Shandilya: Terrible place if you have any dietary preferences. They brought me my order without paying attention to my dietary restrictions despite me mentioning it. Well I understand mistakes happen, the waitress brazened it out without even offering to replace it or apologise for it. They don’t take customer service seriously as they have a high footfall and can afford to be brazen out any bad experience a customer has. One of those places that think they are doing a favour to the customer by simply existing.
Matt Kramich: You could call it the best cocktail spot in Boston
Samantha LaForgia: What a nice chic spot. Great find. Swanky and nice and so chill. Nice staff, good drinks, always a good spot for a chill night!
Ivelina Darvenyashka: I've been coming to Brick and Mortar for a long time - they have great cocktails and bartenders are the best. However I had a bad experience last week, celebrating my bday there. Since this is a no reservations type of place I went there with my husband earlier around 5:30pm to be able to find a spot. We were about 12-13 people and sat at the table when you first come in plus the space next to it since the table is for 6 people. We were asked by the manager to either sit at the table or occupy only the standing spot so other people can fit in, which was ridiculous to ask since the table was for 6 people and we were already occupying the area and was feeling pretty tight. Then she came back again and asked with an attitude to move our group to another table at the back next to the toilets, explaining that this was for walk in groups ,which we obviously were! Anyway, we moved to a table that could fit 10 ppl so we still had people standing; I think when you have a group making you good $$$ ordering drinks all night it's not the best decision to treat them like that - zero professionalism, awful attitude, when asked for her card she refused to give me her contact and name.I hope they change management because this place is otherwise good, but to treat people like this is not. There are plenty of other new great bars in Boston where you are treated like a customer. Not coming back any time soon for sure!
James: Rude manager and front desk employees even during slow hours. I am glad I am never going there again
Joshua Jakimczyk: great drinks, awesome staff
Seth Gertz-Billingsley: Average bar. Cool vibes, but lots of places have that.
Isaac Santelli: Decent cocktails, overpriced
Adam Falk: Amazing vibe and amazing drinks. The small plates are pricey and worth it

Drink: what do users think?
Karina: Asked to be surprised with a whiskey based drink, got a whiskey sour. So innovative 🤦‍♀️
Devdav Newar: This is place was recommended by a lot of people and we were finally able to get a spot. You need to come in early and wait in line to get in but its all worth the wait. The concept of this place is great. A bartender asks you the alcohol base and flavours you like and then he works his magic and mixes an amazing cocktail. There is no menu so you can ask for anything. We were 5 people and everyone gave their own wish list for the bartender to work his magic. Our favourite was this vodka and saffron based drink that he made and it was one of the best cocktails I have had ever. The other ones were also great. There was nothing that we did not like. They have a small menu for food as well. We got the fries and churros to go along with the drinks and its the best combination ever. Its a great place for a night out.
Sara Ansari: The bartenders here are gifted. There’s no drink menu, you tell them what you want and they make their concoction. Say what you want - vodka, lime, agave, whatever - and the drinks they make are unbelievable. And if you don’t know what you want and say something like a dirty martini, it still comes out better than any other place.
Bert Thurlo-Walsh: We came tonight and requested a specific bartender (gentleman with beard) and the response from the bartender was less than respectful. When asked for drinks we were met with facial disdain and attitude. The response about our request was to go elsewhere. Well, we did and will NEVER return or recommend Drink again. Barbara Lynch prides herself on quality and this was much less than that…rather unfortunate. Our friends said it had gone downhill and we felt that was not true; however, they were correct. We cannot and will not recommend Drink!!! We have been to other restaurants of Barbara Lynch’s and the treatment and attitude was unwelcome at Drink.
Courtney Klein: I love this place!!! Luke made my friend and I the best drinks we’ve ever had in our lives 🤩 will definitely be going back!
Mika: Very cool experience! Waited about 10 minutes in line on a Friday night to get in. The atmosphere was very nice. The experience of explaining what kinds of flavors/liquors you like then getting a customized drink was very unique and fun! The bartender was professional and knowledgeable. Admittedly, the drinks were not my favorite, but they were so different and quirky that they felt specially designed for me.
Jim Ratliff: Over crowded. Over loud. Over priced. Long wait at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. No seating available, had to stand. Decent custom $20 cocktails.
Alexandros Zervos: Service is way too slow despite the good drinks.
Emily Hamman: Super cool experience at Drink! The bartender, Frederic, had a great personality and his extensive knowledge on drinks was crazy. We had to wait over an hour to get in (arrived at about 8 PM on a Saturday) but it was worth it! Drinks were awesome.Updating my review:Came back here when I had guests in town. Another great experience - didn’t have to wait at all on a Thursday evening, drinks & food were great. Churros were tasty but the chocolate sauce they were served with was weird with them. Fries were really good and large. My guests said it may be the best espresso martinis they’ve had!
Yehonatan Meshali: Nice place,The concept is so cool! They will ask you what kind of tastes you like and creat the perfect drink
Joseph Doyle: Great drinks. Had two very different and very excellent riffs on an old fashioned. Also great burgers and fries. Looking forward to coming back.
Raj Sheth: Such a fun spot.I'll always love a bar where creativity is king. Hunter was our bartender and he was fantastic. Making drinks based on flavor profiles is hard and he really just hit the nail on the head with a lot of his drinks. The biggest winner was definitely our last drink, he made a bananas foster kind of espresso martini - it was amazing,
Sarah: Overall a really fun and different experience than your typical bar. I was with a group of 6 and we were invited in to standing room only and then moved (by the staff) to stools when seating became available thus changing the bartender who was serving us. Our new bartended ignored us to the point it was comical with others around us acknowledging that we were addressing him to no avail. When we finally got his attention to order he would only listen to one person before turning away and hearing the rest of our orders. At one point one of us ordered and then he took and made multiple orders of others. We waited to so long for this drink that we had to tell him not to make it because we had to leave for a dinner reservation. When we got our bill, we were charged for one extra drink. I addressed this with the bartender and he was unwilling to help. Granted, we switch bartenders in the middle of our visit so it’s understandable that a mistake happened but he simply insisted that he made us 2 drinks and that was our bill. Pretty infuriating given the price of the drinks and the automatically added 20% tip. I think the bar itself has amazing potential, but please address the downright rude employee who was working in the large center bar on the side furthest from the door on the night on 3/8.
Jonah Weitzel: Different concept
Roberto Cibrian: Fantastic experience with great drinks an food. Line can be long but it is totally worth it.
R: I was so excited to bring my wife to my favorite bar in Boston, Drink, for her birthday. We got to the place and waited in line for about an hour, but I assured her it would be worth it. We eventually made it in, 30 minutes later, someone came by with water and asked us for our drink preferences. He made us a drink each and then left. We were there for 3 more hours and no one even looked in our direction, let alone asked us if we would like another drink or even to close out our tab. They were, however, extremely friendly with the groups around us - to the left and right of us- joking around, refilling their waters, others were even on their 3rd or 4th round. It honestly felt like they were avoiding us the entire night. No one acknowledged us at all. I've never felt so unwelcome before.I will not be coming back here. The idea was fun but the service was extremely unwelcoming and definitely not worth the $32 I paid for 2 drinks. This experience seems consistent with other 1 star reviews.
Mike DeLuise: Apparently Sportello and Drink have the same ownership, one could not tell from the experiences we had. The waitress at Sportello was fantastic and offered to get us into Drink downstairs. As soon as we entered Drink, we went to the bar to order a …. drink. The bartenders basically told us to F off. So we left and will never return.
Sara Wolfe: We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Drink. Our party of three waited about 15-20 minutes on a Saturday night around 7. Completely worth it. Roberto took care of us and was amazing. He was so friendly and really helped make our experience. We loved each drink, and they really did seem tailored to whatever we asked for. The fries were also killer. Highly recommend!
John Beebe: Took my girlfriend for a couple drinks before dinner. It’s impossible not to have a good time here. This was the best spot to start the night. In fact, we had such a great time, we returned for a nightcap. Staff is unbelievably awesome - Thanks, Alan!
Tom McManus: Potentially the best cocktail bar in Boston. This place is carefully staffed with fantastic, highly creative mixologists. The drinks are outrageously good and there are some decent food options. The line can get really long so plan to come early.
John Wiesemann: Food options are much better than they were before 2020. Drink options are great as always, it's fun to play the game and explore new drinks with the bartenders.

Alibi: what do users think?
Karen Mangone: Great ambiance? Scampo food is delicious!
Rod Christensen: Way better than a typical hotel restaurant. You won't be disappointed
James Moneyhun: Got there late, just before closing. Still great service and great drinks! Needed it too after a long flight. Thanks!
Jingle Huang: Fun jailhouse themed restaurant that turns into a nightclub later in the evening. Got the swordfish and they had thoughtful non dairy substitutions.
Emily R. Draper: Nice vibe, but mediocre drinks. Also, if I'm spending $17 or $18 on a cocktail I expect water in glassware not plastic.
Chris Wendt: Basic bar with a minimal DJ. Not worth the hype or the clout. Do not recommended wasting time or interest here when there are better bars and better dance clubs
Madison Gentile: Cocktail and atmosphere were good. Service was slloooooooooowwww. My water glass was empty and my empty cocktail glass was long cleared before the server came back. Would have loved to order a second cocktail, but service was way to slow to stay for another round.
Silas Gomes: Lugar espetacular bom ambiente e com um staff espetacular
Ian Grace: I've been coming here off and on over the past couple of years and it's always a great time. Staff is upbeat, the front door man always seems happy to see me and is welcoming. Drinks are very good and the atmosphere is really cool. The patio in summer is the best!
Ilya Borisov: Good night party. Dj may be better but ok for a drunk crowd.
Daniel Bergen: Claustrophobic, hot, and noisy with overpriced drinks and unfriendly, too-cool-for-school (and all male) bartenders. Don't even ask you if you want a glass with your beer. Then my empty glass sat in front of me for a while and wasn't asked if I wanted another drink. No place to charge a phone. Not even affiliated with the hotel. Being there literally feels like being in jail.
Henny Rodriguez: I see a lot of messed up reviews but I honestly did love this place! We came in from NY, because we were spending a weekend by Salem. Drinks were pretty much NY prices but strong as hell and worth it! Music was great, loved the ambience and would definitely go back. I def recommend for a night out in Boston!
Jimmy Baichulall: Vibe: walked into some 🔥 music by the DJBest music I've heard here in Boston!Friendliness of the staff = loved themDrinks: delicious drinks except you can't take the hotel drinks into the club.... Like Why???Club venue = small/tight(PS: the club didn't have Henny and hotel did)Would 100% go back tho!
Becca: This bar kicked me and my friends out for asking for a glass of water, that was their justification for kicking us out. Unbelievable. I will never return to this place and I recommend you avoid it at all costs.
Rajeev Jain: Seems overpriced for what it offers. My cocktail came to well over $20 with the tip while the quality of the drink and the service was just about average. Another person also complained of paying $20 for a glass of ice. I hope he was speaking metaphorically. Very well located right next to Red Line though.
David McDaniel: Top-notch good and service in an old jail house!
Angela Sorgi: Management not very friendly!!
gus6685: I like it
Sameer Kumar Patro: That guy, wanna be Jamie Foxx, at the bar need to learn some etiquettes before starting a job
Gail McIsaac: Awesome aesthetics!
John Doe: Cool jailhouse bar.
