School of Theology: what do users think?
Diego Omar: My professional background is in education and psychology. Except for one professor, the background of the rest was strictly in theology or related to the church. I felt I couldn’t relate, and their teaching became foreign for me, like if the theology field was unfamiliar with modern society. I withdrew from the University, and I realize that was the best decision. Research from Pew in 2016 found that New England is the leading irreligious region in the United States, and I noticed that in Seminary. Pastors are becoming more activists than anything else because the soul salvation business is gone except for people from older generations. Everyone has different goals, but you don’t need to burn the midnight oil in Seminary to end up as an activist.
Cesar: Great professors.. especially newly installed Dean Rev. Dr. De La Rosa

Modern Mystery School Boston: what do users think?
Julie Grimm: I met Jordan and Ariana Bain-- the founders of Modern Mystery School Boston while they were leading meditation where I worked. The meditation helped me keep my head above water during a time at which I felt I was drowning. After the Life Activation session with Ariana, I felt I was finally standing on solid ground. The work that is done through MMS Boston is truly heart centered. I've learned so much and healed so much that I never thought possible. Their mission is to create heaven on earth, and with the work and teachings from this space I'm now beginning to see it's possible, and that I have a role in creating a positive impact of this world.
Jessica Morris: I found Modern Mystery School Boston in 2013 and have been working with the school ever since. After receiving the Life Activation session, I felt a renewed sense of hope and joy that I had not felt in a long time. The Empower Thyself class and Universal Kabbalah program have helped me to understand myself on a deeper level and take ownership of my life in a new way. Since working with the school I've been able to heal and overcome old behavioral patterns & limiting beliefs and live my life more intentionally with a greater sense of purpose, in ways that I haven't found with other systems. If you are looking to move forward in your life and open up new possibilities, I would highly recommend starting here!
Sophie Davis: Modern Mystery School Boston is home to the most beautiful community of people I have ever had the privilege of knowing and working with. First off, the space itself feels amazing, it's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking with a beautiful park just across the way (note - there are stairs you have to navigate, so if you have any mobility issues you would just need to contact the administrators to help with access). Now to what they actually do there. This is a community space where practitioners offer individual, powerful and life-changing energy healing sessions by appointment. There are also meditation classes, group reiki, and deeper classes you can take on metaphysics and spiritual development. That's a pretty high-level overview, but it gives you the idea.More importantly, this is a place where you can come as you are and be completely accepted for where you're at in your journey. The best way to find out if what they offer can benefit you is to schedule a free consultation - understand I don't work for this place or have any professional affiliation - it's just that I found something real here that I've never found anywhere else. The meditations are so deep and user-friendly. The healing sessions I've received and classes I've taken have literally changed my life by helping me see more of who I am, what my gifts are, and how to really put them into practice. There's a lot of skepticism out there around spiritual tools and what that means - but this is the real deal. I have so much gratitude for the team at MMS Boston and can say with all my heart that I believe in their mission and am living proof of what their work can do for a person's life. Give them a call!!
Addie LeBoeuf: If you feel like you are at your lowest point, this is the place for you. If you feel like you are in your prime, the best you can be, this is the place for you. I have been doing healing work with the support of the Modern Mystery School for 2 1/2 years now. I had hit my own rock bottom before receiving a Life Activation in 2015 and since then I have grown beyond my wildest dreams. I’ve received a number of 1:1 healing sessions with Jordan Bain, taken classes, and participated in group meditations and Ensofic Ray. These have all been wonderfully supportive but, the best by far is the healing and progress that I have experienced when I continue to use the tools from the Modern Mystery School on my own! It’s all about empowering you to heal yourself.
Ruthie Odom: Reviews on spiritual programs and schools seem kind of funny to me because I believe one's own experience of a place and the energy is the best judge of whether or not it is the right fit for them. That said, there are so many spiritual teachings, schools, and programs that I figured pointing out the school that has had the most significant and beneficial results on my life could help someone seeking clear and clean spiritual connection. For me that place is The Modern Mystery School Boston. I was dealing with so much doubt, depression, and apathy before I found the school, but after my Life Activation things started to change so quickly. I started finding a love for myself and my world again! But like I said, don't just take my word for it. Try one of their meditations or intros for yourself. I'm grateful I did.
Christoher McDonald: A school that engages in multi level marketing while capitalizing on the power of belief and external influence when it comes to the divine using ideas of heirarchy and bogus laws. In essence, it is a school of conditional love.
Tamyris Garcia: if you looking to expand your spirituality this is the place to be, so much to learn and jordan works with you no matter what your level is. I'm truly grateful for all the knowledge

Shambhala Meditation Center: what do users think?
Ginelle Testa: I adore this place! It's been a second home for almost 7 years now. Leadership is great and so are the teachers and community.
Mandy: Just no.
Ben: Very relaxing
lakota sandoe: Warm community. Lots of programming for all ages and stages of life and practice. No dogma. Very generous teachers. Can't recommend more highly.
Richie Batista: I went on a Sunday to an intro meditation class and learned 1 or 2 new things. The rooms were so peaceful and well designed!
Balint Karosi: I would not recommend this place. My girlfriend signed us up for a weekend session to learn about mediation. But we apparently signed up for a more advanced course: the refuge vow. We went to the opening Friday session last Friday 3/15/15. We were ushered into the upstairs sanctuary, where we sat for 20 min and then had to bow down in front of two Shambhala teacher's pictures, while our teacher processed into the room. During the whole session I felt intimidated. Our teacher was a white guy from Jersey working in finance. He had a weird energy around him. His lecture was vague and used rather pretentious language. After a brief Q&A they asked us chant some atheist chants and then to volunteer for work during the weekend. Some of their instructions included "please pick up your trash after yourself" even though everyone in that room acted very respectfully. On top of that they asked us to give a monetary "gift" to the finance guy in addition to the fee everyone already paid, which I though was insulting. We respectfully asked the secretary to remove us from the remaining session during the weekend, and reimburse us for the next two days that we were not planning to attend. One thing we learned that night was that one of the five precepts of Buddhism is not to take what is not yours. Ironically, we are still waiting for our refund.
Joe Snowdon: This is an amazing place of wonderful people committed to living in a society based on compassion, generosity and kindness. If we are going to make the world a better place for future generations this is the place to do it! Outstanding instruction in meditation practice, excellent coursework in mindfulness, and a strong Buddhist community that welcomes all walks of life.

Arlington Street Church: what do users think?
Matthew J Shochat: Great place to visit for local history!
Madeline Summers: What a beautiful place. Definitely visit to see the windows!
Jeff J: Friday Night Supper is at 5:30 pm in the basement here. Enter through the door in the alley way.
Tina G: Multiple signs on and around the church say they are open 1 - 4 on Sunday for visitors. Church is locked up tight after the 1100 service ends.
Alex Shapiro: It's a beautiful church and we decided to stop in to check out the sanctuary and the service. Even though there was a clear sign to enter through the side door, and an employee let us in, we were questioned as to how we got in, why we were there, what kind of masks we're wearing (despite being fully vaccinated) and felt totally unwelcomed. To top it off, when we went to the upper section, we were, in a very obvious way, followed by one of the employees... did they think we were going to steal the pews or something?? Overall, not a pleasant experience and I suggest enjoying the church from the outside.
VJ Divoll: Very good experience
Jet Pham: This church has beautiful stained glass windows. The Sunday service was incredible and the music was very well performed. The choir was well practiced.
Michael Powell: Beautiful spot right off commons.
Kathi Spinella: Beautiful concert presented by Celebrity Series of Boston in an incredible venue!
Jerry C: We attended a jazz concert here on Saturday afternoon. It is a beautiful place to have a concert or go to church.
Shant Broukian: Beautiful venue for the candle lit concert series!
carol pizziferri: Went for a Fever event, absolutely beautiful
Faith Girdler: Wonderful Vivaldi by Candlelight concert, but the Church itself is a gem. Many Tiffany glass windows! YAAAAY!
Mariale Arevalo: Super beautiful!!!
Tom Kelley: We saw a wonderful string ensemble perform “Beethovens best” recently. It was nice to attend an event in this beautiful historic church.
calvin maclean: What a beautiful place of worship, or a setting for a piano player to grace you with Chopin tunes by candlelight
Lawrence Stanton: Nice not meal was a real treat.
Iah House: Very diverse
Greg Catcott: Highly recommend a visit! Really fabulous Tiffany stained glass windows. Be sure to access the audio description from your phone, this adds a whole new perspective. Staff was very helpful! Thanks!
Morgan Johnstone: Go visit!
Etta Wing: Friday Night Dinner
