Kim Campion: I've been a loyal customer for almost 30 years. For the last few weeks the site will suddenly go down, like 5 times a day. This is not good as I trade often. Today the site has been down for almost 30 minutes. Customer service is not answering, I'M SO FRUSTRATED!!! Might be time to change platforms.
Steven Wu: The worst brokerage firm ever! Sent me an email with a promotional offer, followed all the instructions to open an account and transfer money, but they don't honor it! It says the offer was from last year and cannot enter into the system, what a joke! STAY AWAY!
Ben Vanderlan: Genuinely horrible service. Constantly logs you out and 2FA often fails, requiring you to call them to reset. Wish I could give 0 stars! Use another platform!!
David Scott: The worst of the online brokers. Not only are they one of the few remaining ones that charge for trades, but they also never met a fee they didn't like, and their customer service is atrocious. They are run by incompetents, and you can be sure they're screw up something. Totally messed up an Estate transfer for me recently, and are slow as molasses. Do yourself a favor and invest elsewhere.
sindu meier: Etrade locks your account if you log in from your vacation. I spent over 3 hours trying to do things on a Phone that take 2 minutes online. Hold times 45-90 min. Then they transfer you to another department. They reset my password because I pressed 0 for customer service. FIND ANOTHER SERVICE

Online chat service, 5 hour wait. Phone call- no response or availability after being on hold for 2.5 hours. Email, they respond with automated messages with frequently asked questions. No customer support or contact. Just a lot to take your money , keep you money and go away customer. STAY A WAY!!! this institution needs to be shut down ASAP.

Rozi A: I opened my 1st account 2/2020 with the help of a staff person at 70 Franklin st in Boston and had a wonderful experience. He took the time to explain how the stock market works, etc. I was treated as if I had a major investment already. Really appreciated that!In following months, have made a few calls to get a trade placed or with an inquiry, and yes, sometimes there have been long waits, yet everytime I get an agent on the line, they have been extremely helpful and courteous. Every time! I have seen the negative comments here, and the entitled temper tantrums because of a long hold on the phone...it inspired me to share that the dozen or so calls that I have made have been 100% terrific.
Tommy Leonard: Horrible customer service - every time I call I am on hold for over 30 minutes. I have spent the last 5 months trying to resolve an issue and they never get it right. If there was a 1 rating that is what they would get.
michael lewellyn: poor customer service. good luck talking to a customer representative by phone. If you are thinking of becoming a customer try call their 800 number first and see how long your wait is. Their margin rate is very high as well.

Matt Black: Crisis strikes and e-trade shuts down. Every other banking institution has a plan to help customers through this and e-trade turns off live chat and goes dark. Good job.
Dzmitry Hliakau: After reading other reviews I was not very comfortable to go visit the branch. But it was actually a very good experience. I brought some old paper certificates to deposit to my brokerage, it took around 3-4 to get assistance and around 10-15 minutes to complete forms. Pretty comfortable branch to visit in a convenient location.
Sajid: Etrade is most expensive of all the accounts I have (Schwab, & Vanguard are the others I have.) The fund transfers and trade settlements take forever. I am stuck with it due to my ESPP program, else I would have closed this account long back.

M D: This is my second OTA center. I'd had a great relationship with the center in Seattle so was a little apprehensive switching centers when I moved to New England. The team at OTA Boston put all my concerns to rest. They are friendly, open and engaging. On top of that the space itself is comfortable and conducive to learning. I'm looking forward to taking more classes here. And of course, the most important part about OTA - the instructors. Another great teacher this week.

This experience with OTA has been one of the hardest but most incredible moments in my adult career. The instructors are incredibly patient and they teach guys like me in a way that makes it fun and impossible to fail. You only get out what you put into things in life and I have to say that OTA and their network of instructors are the best of the best and they have put their lives into this. I would not recommend this to anyone, I would insist you do this to help make a better life for yourself.

EM Capital: Critical:ResponsivenessTrying to speak with a human at fidelity is nearly impossible. I can't even get the chat bot to take me to a real person. It wasn't great pre-covid but since then it's been horrible. If my daughter's 529 plan and my retirement plan was not with Fidelity I'd switch tomorrow.
Christopher Lento: It is impossible to get anyone on the phone to answer a question. This has always been a problem with Fidelity, but now that the branches are closed you can't just walk in and talk to someone. Now you call the number and get put into an endless hold loop. It's beyond frustrating. I will be moving my accounts to a company that values its customers and treats them as if their time has value.
Cory Campbell: I have been trying to deal with having my 401K stolen for about a year now. After switching jobs I was transferring from Fidelity to another investment firm. Fidelity does not transfer funds directly to the other investment firm, instead they send the money to my home address to forward to the next place.This check was stolen from my mail box and cashed early in 2020. Since then I have had to coordinate calls and paperwork between police and the 2 investment firms, and the bank that cashed it.The bank that cashed it is ready to re-issue the funds that were lost but they need Fidelity to contact them to verify the information but Fidelity is dragging their feet! PLEASE I HAVE CALLED REPEDATLY WOULD YOU HELP ME CONTACT THE BANK SO THAT THEY CAN SEND YOU THE FUNDS TO RE-ISSUE TO ME.I have tried to go through your customer support but they have put in the request but no one is following up. I am going to go to all your social media accounts so that maybe someone will help me
G O: I’m in the private client group. I use Fidelity’s online bill pay. It’s horrible. Usually they pay my bills late but recently they lost a direct payment for $1400 that was for Geico. Geico claimed they never received it. Fidelity could not provide me with any proof of payment. Now my car insurance is cancelled. Fidelity has given me the runaround. I plan on closing my Fidelity account because of this and will be filing a BBB complaint as well. Very poor customer service from Fidelity. Still not resolved. When it gets resolved I’ll remove this review.

Boston W: I have had an account at Fidelity for 40 years. The Backbay Branch has to be the worst Fidelity has. I was assigned a Financial Advisor (whom I didn't select) who turned out to be a disaster. When I called to change Advisors, after 15 minutes I was told they couldn't find anyone, but the one I wanted to dump insisted on talking to me. I hung up. He tried calling me even though my account has a "Do not call" on it. I warn everyone not to go near this guy and try to use another Branch if possible. Horrid Branch
