She doesn't have great customer service skills the way she talk to me, you would think that she thought I was stealing. I am way too educated to be taking things that does not belong to me. A person should never look at someone because of context of their skin.

V: I have been shopping at this specific location for 10+ years. They have a wide variety of shoes for both men and women. It’s always organized & the staff are friendly. FIRST FLOOR: Men & Women sneakers. SECOND FLOOR: womens heels, boots & Clarence section. If the escalator going down to first floor isn’t working. There is an elevator & stairs to lead you back down. I ordered a pair of boots online for pickup at this location for the first time and wanted to ask a few questions regarding the pickup. I made three different phone calls. The first one was put on hold forever (10 mins+) and never heard back. The next two calls got picked up and hung up immediately without saying anything. This is super rude. I totally understand that they are busy. They can just leave ignore the calls in the first place. So, I didn't have to wait for them.Anyhow, due to its prime location, I will probably shop here again.

I was in town for the weekend, bought a pair of shoes, had them for one day and I couldn’t exchange them because I wore them out of the store and walked 50 feet to the hotel in them. I wanted to exchange - not return - and was still denied. This is the first time I bought shoes from a retail store in years. I mostly buy online but wanted to support the local economy. It’s too bad stores adopt these antiquated policies when online shops are much easier for returns. I will not shop at a physical Clarke’s again. Much easier to get it through Zappos and not have some sales lady give you a hard time when you want to upgrade your boots.

They had no ac and I couldn’t bare to stay inside the store. When I asked the employees if their air was working they informed me it was broken. Definitely not fair for those employees in this heat! It’s 95 outside and it was like 112 inside their store. Ridiculous. Thank you to the staff for being accommodating but I don’t think till their air is fixed.

Alex Lennox-Miller: Absolutely fantastic source of shoes, socks, accessories, and mens wear. Knowledgeable, friendly staff who are more interested in finding the right match, fit, or look for you than they are in padding out the bill, which is a rarity in this kind of store. The building is currently under construction (Winter 2019), but they are very much open.

She instead suggested models and sizes that would actually suit my anatomy, for healthier and more comfortable long-term fits. Andy Au: Besides buying boots (not sure why) I always buy my shoes here. I walk about 10,000 steps a day so I'm in constant need of new shoes every couple months. Out of all the DSWs I been to this is the one with the largest selection so if they don't have a pair of shoes to my liking I can say with confidence that the other DSWs won't be any better. My girlfriend loves buying her boots and socks here as well, and when she needs to go to a DSW this is the one I will always bring her to.

Char John: HORRIBLEPlaced an order on December 30th 2022 using a gift card, my gift card was charged and when I picked the shoes up in the store on January 10th 2023 DSW decided to charge my credit card the whole purchase amount which was already purchase again with the gift card on December 30th 2022. This review serves the purpose of awareness and to not get bamboozled and swindled by DSW workers. It's not ok to fraudulently charge people's credit cards with no authorization. BBB has been notifiedPeople check you statements and keep your digital receipts as proof because I surely have mines and my gift card was definitely charged. As we all know shoes would Not be sent if they we're paid for.Bad for business

Andrew Garvin: I rarely go into a DSW, so I don't have much of a frame of reference, but I'd guess this one is pretty typical. It seemed understaffed, but most places are these days.My only complaint was that even though there was only a single checkout register open, neither of a couple of employees - who seemed to be doing very little besides chatting with one another - stepped in to make the line go faster.
Elizabeth Caruso: Big selection. Prices are fine. Popular sizes can be hard to find at times, despite the signage declaring "We have your size". The store is in good order and the cashier was pleasant.
M. Sato: Love the bargains! Tip: if you can shop for shoes you need "off season", there's a better chance you'll get an even better bargain. For example - in June, a lot of Fall/Winter shoes were on the clearance shelves.
Regina Bailey: Shoes are a bit pricey company to buying them on sale at major department stores. Did manage to find some affordable pairs.
douglas roberts: A bit hit and miss, prices are close to regular retail, don't expect a great bargain.
R S s: There was not alot of choices for boys, especially dress shoes. They were stiff and heavy, and not very attractive. My mom had a hard time finding her size 11, and anything they did have, was not comfortable or nice. It must be me, but the styles seemed like weaved baskets for your feet. So overpriced and plain. They had Sketchers, but I'll go somewhere else.
john Dam: This store will not match their chains price. I shopped at DSW Everett for better price on same pair of shoe. The store manager make its crystal clear DSW Dedham is not as same as DSW Everett. They will not overwrite their price. Don't waste your time if you can't find your size/price elsewhere.
