Ceremony Boston: what do users think?
Dominika Malinowski: I had my very first bridal appointment with Alix at Ceremony and I couldn't have had a better experience. She was attentive, asked great questions and knew exactly what I had in mind! As my first wedding dress appointment, I wasn't totally sure what I was looking for or what would look best. Alix was patient and knew exactly what to pull next for me to find my vision. The space was beautiful and there is a great selection. They were accommodating with scheduling my appointment and could get me in quickly. Would definitely recommend Ceremony!!
Bronwyn Shinnick: Awesome experience working with Kaitlyn. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable about the designers, and was able to answer all of my questions. The store is really flexible with catering to appointment needs. I will be sending my engaged friends here!
Hannah D: I visited a few bridal stores before visiting Ceremony but once I did I stayed put. Ceremony only stocks a small number of designers which I appreciated - the wedding dress selection process is overwhelming! The designers they stock range in style and price which allowed me to try on lots of different things but the fact that Ceremony stocked Sarah Seven was the seller for me. Her dresses are unreal. Modern but timeless, comfortable and so beautifully made. The team at Ceremony were great! Easy fast process, beautiful store and lovely ladies. They recommended All Fit Tailoring and that was just the icing on the cake, my dress fit like a damn glove.
Elizabeth Iorio: Ceremony is the ideal space to pick out your wedding dress. In an intimate setting where the staff is so helpful and makes this special moment shine. Their recommendations of tailors cannot be beat and selection of gowns are incredible. I had the pleasure of working with them and they even ordered in the exact size of my dress to try on before I purchased.
Sarah Hale: I had a great experience shopping for a wedding dress at Ceremony. The selection of gowns there was so far beyond the other shops I visited in New England. Alix and the team there were also very helpful and flexible. Dress shopping was the most anxiety inducing part of wedding shopping for me but Ceremony made it stress-free and easy.
Margaret Ryan: Alix and her entire team are amazing! I decided to head to Ceremony during my dress search because of the designers they carried. During my appointment, Alix was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all of her designers and was very thoughtful with the dresses she pulled for me to try based on my feedback. I ended up falling in love with a dress from Ceremony, and the entire process was seamless. Fast forward to my dress arriving, it came in with plenty of time to bring to the tailor. When I brought my dress to the tailor, there was an incident where my dress got stained. While the tailor would not take ownership of the mishap, I got in contact with Ceremony, and Alix completely took over and saved the day. She sent the dress to be cleaned to her wedding dress cleaner, and when it came time for me to pay for the service, she covered it. Alix went above and beyond for me during a very stressful experience. I cannot say enough amazing things about Alix and her team as they helped me throughout this. Alix had no obligation to help during all of this, but she stepped in and saved the day, which really shows how much she cares about her brides. I would recommend anyone go to Ceremony, not only for the designers she carries (because they are all amazing) but for the customer service you will experience.
Jen Herbert: I shopped for and purchased my dress at Ceremony during the height of COVID. While I understandably had to limit my guests, they went out of their way to make me feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. They had my dream dress available, which I tried on among a few other selections skillfully pulled for me. They were polite and supportive every step of the way. The space was also beautiful, as I'm sure their new space will be as well. Thank you for everything, Ceremony!
Mary Catherine Heelan: Loved my experience at Ceremony!! The team was so kind throughout the process of finding my dress and truly made it special for me and my mom. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dress!
Sophia McCarthy: I can’t recommend Ceremony enough!!! I went to 2 popular bridal shops before this and had an absolutely terrible experience. Ceremony was a breath of fresh air. Alix was so wonderful and helped me find my dream dress while never exceeding my budget. It was such an enjoyable experience, I can’t recommend it enough!
Rachael Giovanucci: My wedding was August 2022. I reached out to Ceremony for an appointment in October and they were able to schedule me an appointment very quickly. I had an idea of which designer I wanted and worked with Molly to pick some photo options of dresses in the style that I liked. My first dress appointment was so beautiful and personal. Molly helped me try on dresses that I liked and some that I would not have picked myself. I ended up picking the second dress I tried on. There was no added pressure for me to pick a dress that day- it was my own decision. They were able to order a split size dress for me (the curvy ladies!) which in the end, saved me money with alterations. The dress took about 5 months to arrive (which is quick) and the quality was outstanding. They also recommended All Fit Tailor on Newbury for alterations, which was another incredible experience. Ceremony Boston works hard to make your wedding dress experience dreamy and personal. I would definitely recommend them to any bride looking for a great quality dress and a great quality experience.
Gibson Starzynski: If you are looking for a place where dreams come true, Ceremony is the place for you. Shopping for a wedding dress can be such a stressful ordeal but it was anything but with Ceremony. I felt not only like a special bride to be but that the incredible owner and staff genuinely cared about what I was looking for and felt comfortable in. I could not have been more thrilled with the variety of styles they had for me to try and also so comforted that I would be able to find my perfect wedding dress...and oh my goodness did I!
Alex Kessler: Great experience, gorgeous dresses. Can't wait to wear mine in October
Samantha Lee: Cannot say enough amazing things about Alix and her team at Ceremony. I had the pleasure of having Alix by my side as I tried on wedding dresses. She was extremely knowledgeable in every gown and most importantly made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I bought both my gown and my veil from Ceremony and couldn’t be happier!
Marla Mollenkamp: I had an easy and great experience at Ceremony! This place caters to the more modern brides of Boston, and has the designer(s) I was specifically looking for that other places in Boston do not carry. There are classic and traditional styles if that is more your style! From our pre-appointment online consultation onwards I felt completely comfortable and confident that I would make the right choice. The team is helpful but not overbearing, your wedding dress is a personal choice so ultimately it’s up to you to choose your dress - which is the philosophy I felt that Ceremony also holds. Thanks Alix and team!
Yen Anh Nguyen: I could not have been happier with my experience at Ceremony Boston! It was completely calm and special. My mom and I love the design and boutique feel of the shop. There was a lot of space for changing and trying on dresses, yet it felt intimate and private. This was completely different than my experiences at other places.I was not overwhelmed by too many choices and didn’t feel stressed about not being able to find the dress. I visited Ceremony because they carry a specific designer that I love. I ended up leaving with a dress that describes my style perfectly that was suggested by Alix. I was impressed that she recognized what I was looking forward before I knew! We ended up purchasing another gown for a second ceremony abroad. Our wedding plan was interrupted by the pandemic, but I was able to get the dresses on time. The tailor they recommended also did an amazing job at my fittings! I have already recommended Ceremony to all of my friends who are getting married!
Katie Polhemus: This place is the stuffed shirt of wedding boutiques in Boston. At my first fitting the stylist (Natasha) was very sweet and clearly trying her best - but the manager, (Molly) clearly had no interest in helping. I had one Q the entire appt, which was as simple as 'how should I travel with the dress?' and Molly couldn't be more annoyed at that question. Sorry??!? Even if it's as simple as 'put it in a garment bag,' maybe don't act like I just asked you how to wipe my own @$$?!?!? I did end up buying my dress here (because it's the only place in boston that had THE DRESS) but regret it deeply, because I could've easily gone to NY to buy direct from designer. I did it on principle to support small biz, but honestly regret it, esp. after seeing their ratings plummet over the past year. The only silver lining is I (hopefully) earned Natasha a decent commission. Plus I'm convinced they didn't send the designer my correct measurements, b/c I was literally swimming in the dress at my final fitting. Also, the owner Alix had some very distasteful fat-phobic comments at my final fitting, such as 'it's a good thing you look like you probably don't fluctuate too much in size.' Please only patronize this establishment if you know exactly what you want - otherwise your experience will be light years better at Flair or even Grace Loves Lace
Zaid Qureshi: Awful. Terrible. Atrocious. Unpleasant. Nasty. Those are just a few words of many in the English language that only scratch the surface in describing our experience at Ceremony. My fiancée visited Ceremony in Boston, found a dress she liked, got measured and ordered the dress to be delivered to Los Angeles (where we live) all in one visit. One major thing crossed off the laundry list of wedding preparation, right? Well, we were completely wrong. A few months later, as promised, the dress shows up to our address. My fiancée tries on the dress and it doesn't fit. At all. The dress is so tight that she can't even properly walk in it. It seemed pretty obvious that the incorrect size was sent, so she calls Ceremony to get some help and is told that the correct size based on her measurements was sent and that the seamstress should be able to get everything adjusted, no problem. So a few days later, she takes the dress to the seamstress in LA recommended by Ceremony, who promptly tells her that there is no way that this dress is the right size- they either incorrectly measured her or they sent the wrong dress. This is where the true nightmare begins. At this point my fiancée calls again to get this resolved and the owner of Ceremony, Alix, gets involved. Normally, you would expect to receive an excellent level of customer service and problem solving from the owner of a company selling dresses worth thousands of dollars, but we received the complete opposite from Alix. Alix lacked any level of empathy, kindness and solutioning skills to get this issue remedied and instead took 0 responsibility for the issue. She claimed that there was no chance that anyone measured my fiancée incorrectly or that the wrong size was sent. Instead, she decided to solely put the blame on my fiancée, going so far as to make ludicrous statements, like saying that my fiancée had gained so much weight that she went up 2 sizes in a few short weeks (note, we even spoke to a couple of doctors about this, who said this was close to impossible in the time frame between ordering and receiving the dress, not to mention she weighed herself and actually hadn't gained any weight) and that Los Angeles brides are notorious for getting sizes that are too small (my fiancée is originally from Boston and purchased the size suggested by Ceremony). Not only were these "defenses" bizarre in nature, they also served to essentially weight shame and put down my fiancée, which was completely uncalled for. It's understandable that people make mistakes in measuring or ordering and we would have been more than happy to work with Alix to get this resolved had she taken responsibility for it, but instead she decided to dig in and refuse to acknowledge any fault. After a stressful couple of weeks of exchanging tense emails and phone calls, Alix finally agreed to take the dress back for the full cost of the dress (note, she refused to refund the over $200 in shipping we had to spend to get it back to her in good condition). Of course, this had now left my fiancée with no dress and on a very tight timeline to get any dress now purchased tailored and adjusted, but this was a better option than to keep trying to deal with Ceremony and Alix. We thought that pushing our wedding in the midst of a global pandemic would have been the most stressful thing about wedding planning, but dealing with Ceremony takes the award. The amount of stress, tears and time wasted due to the utter lack of empathy and customer service at Ceremony was one of the most frustrating retail experiences we will probably ever have in our lives and I would strongly recommend you run as far away from this place as you can. Go purchase from somewhere that cares about its customers because Ceremony certainly does not.
Marie Feng: I loved my experience with Alix and Molly at Ceremony and would recommend this boutique to anyone looking for wedding dresses that are effortlessly chic.I reached out via email to schedule an appointment in June 2021 and received a prompt response with a questionnaire to probe what I was looking for. At my appointment, Alix pulled ~6 dresses to try on. I was able to bring 2 friends; they also had a stand for my iPad so I could Zoom in my mom, future mother-in-law, sister, and friend. Alix was supportive and helpful without being overly solicitous. She gave my 2 friends space to take immense amounts of pics and vids to share with the group chat. From there, I re-tried on my fave dress and only then did Alix bring out the veil. She suggested only trying on the veil with dresses that might be “the one” to elevate the specialness of the experience. I said yes to Sarah Seven’s Viviana and decided to think over the accompanying sleeves. They gave me a goodie bag, which included champagne, and said we’d see each other in ~6 months. In November 2021, I reached out to Ceremony again if it was possible to do a re-try-on of just Viviana since my mom and sister were in town for Thanksgiving and they hadn’t been able to join my initial appointment in-person. Molly was more than happy to arrange our appointment and I was grateful that the team was able to include my family in the experience. Then, come January 2022, my dress arrived, but alas, I had torn my ACL so was in a brace, making going up the stairs difficult. Also, at this point, I had decided that yes, I needed the accompanying sleeves (“party sleeves”) so I needed to be measured for them. Alix was super kind and came down to me to hand over the dress (!!!) and measure for the sleeves. Now, in March 2022, my sleeves arrived and I was back in a brace, and Alix again was too kind to bring the sleeves to me in my car.I share this saga to persuade other brides looking for a modern and romantic dress and an accommodating and stress-free experience to visit Ceremony in its beautiful space in Beacon Hill. And do yourself a favor and go to Tatte afterwards to celebrate.
Meaghan O'Donnell: If you're thinking about buying your dress from Ceremony, KEEP SHOPPING!! I had had my eye on the Anais Anette dress since before we pushed our wedding due to COVID, so it was thrilling to finally purchase my dream dress at Ceremony during Summer 2021. The salesperson I worked with, Molly, recommended I purchase a split size dress, saying "you'll either pay now or in alterations later." She also assured me that it would be no issue that I was based in Los Angeles, where they could easily ship the dress. When the dress arrived in January, there was something seriously wrong. The dress was so tight that it was a challenge to walk normally, sit down and bend over to put my shoes on. Not only was it WAY tighter than it should have been, the dress that I had purchased because it was so comfortable became the complete opposite. There is no way I could wear this dress without worrying that it was going bust at the seams. From my first conversation with Alix, she was passive-aggressive and defensive. For 6 weeks, she refused to take any responsibility for the dress being an incorrect size saying that "it was impossible that my team or the dressmaker made a mistake." During each conversation, she made me feel like I was ludicrous to even suggest this. Despite the fact that I had not gained any weight, she insisted that the reason the dress did not fit was that I had gained two inches and gone up two sizes. I don't know who's error this was, but contrary to what Alix incessantly suggested, it was not mine. Alix was painful to work with - she refused to come up with a solution except that the dress needed to be let out (an $850 alternation) until I said that I would be traveling back to Boston to meet her in person to try and sort this out. She then recommended that I pay to have a new skirt rushed and have the dress rebuilt by the seamstress in Los Angeles. The seamstress flatly refused to do this since she couldn't ensure the integrity of the dress. Alix actually even had the audacity to email my mom that "Truthfully (and mother-to-mother), if her body has changed, I am not sure how much putting her back into the sample to show her a change will be beneficial to her personally either." She was infuriating to work with and frankly I felt fat shamed by her for weeks. I have been very grateful to have a positive body image and this experience made me more critical of my body than ever before. She is toxic and caused hours of unnecessary emotional distress for me, my parents, MOH and fiance who worked tirelessly to troubleshoot the issue. I will say the only good thing to come out of this experience was that she recommended a fantastic seamstress in LA who actually encouraged me to return the dress and find a new one off the rack. Icing on the cake was Alix refused to reimburse me for the $200 in shipping. The bridal gown business expectation is that you go for the whole experience to spend thousands of dollars for a custom dress that takes months to make. You put your trust in the stylist and designers to create the correct dress, with minor alterations of course. However, every step of the way, Alix turned the whole thing on me like it was my fault. Take your business elsewhere because you WILL NOT receive the service you deserve at Ceremony.
Rachel Pelletier: Cannot say enough great things about my experience at Ceremony. Alix was so wonderful to work with. She was super knowledgeable and accommodating and she obviously has GREAT taste. The selection is incredible (dresses and accessories). So many modern (and classic) styles to choose from. I was worried I wouldn’t find a bridal boutique that carried the more contemporary designers I was looking for and Ceremony had them all! The studio was absolutely gorgeous and super clean.
Emily Ohrtman: I was really excited to bring my friend to try on dresses here but our experience was really lack luster. The dresses are stunning of course and the location/place was beautiful, but the stylist kinda ruined the experience. We got a little lost (don’t worry still on time) and I found the woman on the phone when I called a little rude and snooty. I said “I think we are here- we just buzzed up.” and she responded “you’re clearly not”. Awkward. But honestly, that wasn’t really the part that bugged us. Once we were there, the stylist didn’t really give any recommendations or help much. My friend tried on a dress collection from a designer who does a lot of accessory work to go with the dresses. No mention of that or any of the other accessories or veils at the store. We had to probe for information on what the process looks like and then, after emailing asking about a dress she tried on, they said the bride had to go to a seamstress to get measurements. Literally EVERY other store asked and kept my friend’s measurements and were a wealth of knowledge. I’m not sure if it was just our stylist or the store in general. Either way, we had much better experiences at other wedding dress shops in Boston. If you’re looking, I HIGHLY recommend Flair. That is where my friend ended up finding and purchasing her dress.

Flair Boston: what do users think?
Michelle Harrington: They were super helpful, made me feel comfortable, and had a ton of inventory within my budget…Made it easy to find the right one for me! Highly recommend.
Molly ciciora: I had the best experience at Flair Boston! It is a gorgeous space for all of your bridal dreams to come true! Katie took the time to make me feel comfortable, and really went out of her way to help me create a custom gown! She treated me like family and I can't say enough good things!
Andrea Hartman: From all of the adorable vibes, friendly team, and cozy couches Flair was an incredible experience! It was my only experience where Lauren took time to get to know me first, learn in detail about our wedding plans and help me narrow down my style throughout the appointment. She genuinely listened to what I was liking and not liking about certain styles and ultimately helped me find my wedding dress! I came back to try on multiple times with Lauren (changing into an even better dress for me on my second visit). She was patient and helped me customize my dream gown! I would suggest for anyone to go see Lauren or any of the other wonderful team members at Flair. An experience I’ll never forget!
Kelsey Grimmer: If I could give Flair (and specifically Kaitie Silk) 10 stars, I would. I had the most wonderful, exciting, yet calm and relaxing experience at Flair. The store is beautiful, they have an amazing selection, and everyone just seemed so happy and content to be there.Kaitie was absolutely amazing to work with. She was very organized, friendly and easy to get along with. She made it a point to make sure I knew that this day was about me and what I wanted, not anything else. We were able to have a few side conversations and a mental health check in while I was trying on dresses which I appreciated so much. She pulled the dresses I wanted to try and pulled a few others based on what I told her I was looking for. My dream dress ended up being the very first one I tried on, and when Kaitie put me in it a second time, gave me a veil and flowers, the vision came together perfectly and I knew 100% it was the dress.I would absolutely recommend Flair and Kaitie to every bride that I know. It was the perfect dress shopping experience and I could not have asked for anything more.
Amanda Montoya: LOVED my experience at Flair. I really struggled to find my dress and this was probably the 6th store I had gone to. Kaitie was extremely helpful from the get go and knew exactly how to rein in my indecisiveness. Not only did she pick my dream dress, she also helped picked my dream veil. Highly recommend Kaitie and the Flair team!
kaleigh hunt: I can not recommend Flair enough. I went to 3 bridal salons in Boston and Flair's service was topnotch. We worked w/ Kaitie - and she was highly educated, gave fabulous advice and made the process incredibly easy. I recently went back to pick up my dress - a custom dress w/ 5 + customizations, everything was perfect. However, after I left, I was unsure and wanted Kaitie's opinion - Flair was more than accommodating in getting me in next day, and making sure Kaitie was available. She answered all of my questions and made me feel confident walking out the door! Thank you Flair for the personal touch all the way through!
Sarah Manning: I worked with Lauren and I had a wonderful experience! She was so genuine and nice and made the whole visit a breeze. She wasn’t pushy at all and was great about picking more dresses out as I gave her feedback. I’d highly recommend Lauren!
Raundi QUEVEDO: Laitue is truly a wonderful associate. She was very kind, helpful and honest. We tried several dresses and she pointed out the colour/style/length that worked best for my body shape and skin tone. When I came back over a year later to get my veil she was just as great. She pulled out my dress and made sure the veil matched the colour and fabric. I really appreciate her honesty and work. She’s very knowledgeable and thoughtful. 100% recommend !
Jennifer Kaplan: I loved working with Zoe (my stylist) to find my dress! Flair was the first shop I came to and while I ended up going to my other appointments later that weekend, it was clear by the end that both the customer service and options at Flair went above and beyond other shops. I ordered my perfect dress and I'm super excited to try it on again when it comes into the shop.
Molly Deakin: I went wedding dress shopping in Boston and had 3 appointments in one day. Flair was by FAR the best experience I had. The boutique itself was adorable and welcoming which made me very excited. However, the best part was my bridal consultant, Zoe. I can't say enough about how incredible she was. She completely understood my vision and helped me find the dress of my dreams (that I don't think I would have pulled initially). She is so good at her job and my mom, sister and I could not stop talking about how much we loved her. She killed it and I would recommend her 10/10!!
Madeleine Twiford: Would give more stars if I could! I had the absolute best experience working with Lauren and Liz. I felt so comfortable in their beautiful space and never felt pressured to try on anything I didn't want to. Lauren knew exactly what I was looking for and even brought some new options I didn't think about and loved them as well. I was pretty sure I found my dress but wanted to take a day or two to sleep on it. I made a second appointment to say yes and can not recommend Flair more!
Liliana Bredice: The experience could not have been better at Flair! I had a relatively specific vision in my mind for my dress, and the team at Flair went above and beyond to find me exactly what I was looking for. Their expertise and knowledge opened my eyes to all of the possibilities in terms of customizations and design — things I would have never thought about in order to make my dress exactly match my vision. My stylist (Zoe) and the boutique manager (Liz) were so welcoming, supportive, and just true professionals. Zoe's input and information was productive and helpful, and I never once felt pressure or judgement, which unfortunately is not always the norm. Liz was so clear and helpful about lead times, order times, customizations per designer, and next steps in the process. I cannot recommend Flair enough to any bride looking for their dream dress!!
Emily Dunn: I made an appointment at Flair because of their good reviews and I left my appointment feeling frustrated and dirty. Myself and the people I came with were not allowed to look around/touch at any dresses. The first thing I noticed when I was brought dress samples was how DIRTY and BROWN in color they were on the interior specifically. My chest and arms began to break out in red spots after the appointment was over, very disappointed in how UNSANITARY the dresses were kept.My stylist was bossy with myself and my guests, instructing them to not have a negative opinion when I came out in the first dress. This really set the tone for the rest of the appointment and made everyone uncomfortable that they couldn’t express opinions honestly.Flair didn’t have multiple sample sizes of the same dress to try. I was struggling to envision what a dress would look like on me in my actual size when all the material was bunched up in clips. My dress size ended up being about an 8 (bought a dress at a different store) and I was being put in sample sizes 12 and 14 at Flair. Beware of this if you are more petite.
Rosie Crowley: I worked with Kaitie (Kaitlyn) at Flair - this was my first and only wedding dress try-on experience, and it went so smoothly! I had a vision for the style that I wanted, and she helped to make it a reality. I ended up creating a custom gown from the top of one dress and the bottom of another Kelly Faetanini dress, and Kaitie really helped me feel comfortable and confident. I would definitely recommend working with Flair!
Eco S: Lovely experience with Kaitie. She was honest about pricing, quickly filtered out dresses I didn't like, and gave really good advice about tailoring!
Emily Smith: I had a great experience at Flair over the summer. Although I did not find my dress here, my sales associate was sweet and soft spoken and supportive which is just what I needed after a bad experience at another bridal store. I also liked that when I showed her my inspiration dress she did tell me she had an option close to it that was over budget - honesty and no trickery and asked if I still wanted to see it, which i did. I thought the selection was beautiful and would definitely recommend to other brides.
Hannah Kloomok: I am so glad I found Flair! I was feeling very overwhelmed by the process of finding a wedding dress, but from the moment I walked into my first appointment, Kaitie started to tease me and put me at ease. She made it clear before I tried on a single dress that she was there to support me and help me find something that would make ME happy, telling me "I didn't design any of these dresses, so you won't hurt my feelings if you don't like one." It sounds silly but it helped me so much! She talked me through the whole process and ended up finding my dream dress, and when I went back to pick it up she found me my veil! I don't think I could have done it without her, she's a mind reader. Thank you, Kaitie!
Rachael Haas: This one might be a tad long. But I just have to say that the stylist Lauren made my experience absolutely wonderful. My mom and I traveled from Colorado and everything from the appointment setup to the appointment itself was easy and comfortable. Lauren created an amazing environment that was fun, comfortable, and felt like she really molded things specifically for me!! And because of her, I found the dress! Thank you Lauren and thank you Flair!
Audra Schlehuber: Kaitie Silk at Flair is amazing! She totally understood what I wanted and gave me options that were exactly what I was looking for. She also helped my sister in law find her dress last year. She listens really well, doesn’t pressure you, and gives great advice throughout the whole process. I felt comfortable and confident every step of the way. I highly recommend Flair, and especially Kaitie!!!
Angela Lin: My experience at Flair was the best! I had gone to 4-5 stores in Boston/NYC and was still searching for my perfect dress. Kaitie made the process so seamless. I showed her pictures of a dress I liked, but aspects of it that I didn't like, as well as things I wanted/didn't want in my wedding dress. We pulled dresses from the racks that I was interested in and Kaitie also went through and found dresses she thought would fit what I envisioned.. and then we found the one that screamed "this is my dress". It is a Kelly Faetinini dress and actually was something that they did not typically carry on a normal basis, so it was truly meant to be! Kaitie helped me feel comfortable throughout the process as I did my bridal shopping solo. I felt like I could talk to her and she would give me true feedback. She would also give me space when I needed a moment to think! If you can, for sure request for Kaitie! The space at Flair is beautiful as well, great lighting. They have added florals to the main area since I went for my first visit. I just picked up my dress the other day and was so happy to see Kaitie at my fitting. We had made some changes to the dress with the designer and I was nervous to see what it would look like, but it was perfect.
Lily Gazaille: My experience at Flair was nothing short of amazing! Right away Zoe made me feel so comfortable and really listened and understood what I was looking for. It was such a breeze working with her and I would recommend Flair to everyone I know! Large selection of dresses!

Pronovias Boston: what do users think?
aaron annette: Ruth is very helpful in finding the dresses I love and is very patient during the whole appointment. Because this is my first stop so I had no idea what types of dresses I like. But Ruth helped narrow down my selections based on a veriety of criteria like fabric, pattern, silhouette, etc. and excelled at finding dresses that have similar characteristics that I like but slightly different design. I would highly recommend everyone to spend some time browsing the website and saving dresses to favorites so that the consultant can see what you like and prepare those that are in store or have similar design for you to try on ahead of your appointment. I was able to try on 11 dresses during my 1.5 hr appointment, and found two dresses I love.
Madison: I felt so special today. I didn’t know exactly what I liked and Ruth was patient and helped talk me through different styles to figure out what fit me best. Overall I felt comfortable and not rushed at all. Ruth brought me so many different styles and was so informative and helpful. They were so nice. Thank you Pronovias!!
Bridie Vail: I had the most amazing experience at Pronovias at Copley Mall in Boston. I wanted to find a dress that was truly “me”Ruth, along with my ladies who came with me, found me the perfect wedding dress. Ruth was so accommodating! She helped me in and out of all the dresses and showed others that I might like. All and all she and the store were amazing
Katelynn Badger: Best place in Boston to find a wedding dress! Nina was phenomenal—I looked online ahead of time and she got most of the styles I wanted to look at in the store within a few days.
Emily M: When I first looked up Pronovias Boston, I was honestly a little intimidated. I was worried they wouldn't have dresses in my price range and I worried that it would be too high end/upscale and I wouldn't fit in.But I was able to reach out to store via email to figure out some prices and styles and I instantly felt welcomed by Ruth (who I believe is the store manager). When I came in for my appointment, I felt welcomed by everyone and anyone I came into contact with was down to earth, friendly, and helpful! Most importantly, their selection is so large, that I was able to find the PERFECT dress for me that I never would have imagined even existing! I highly recommend!
Keila Lopez: Terrible experience, don’t waste your time and go somewhere else with a more personable staff
Jane Tsuang: Had a fantastic bridal experience with my daughter at Copley location. We were able to browse the bridal collections, try on many dresses. It was a very relaxed appointment without pushy sales or rushing us through the appointment. The appointment was restricted to 2 guests, however, we were able to go back after dinner for other members of the family to see her favorite dress. We did end up saying 'YES' to the dress and also 'YES' to the mother of the bride gown! It was so much fun. I did asked about the negative reviews regarding alterations and previous customer complaints - Lindsay and Marelen were both very frank and honest about the challenges they had with resources, shipping, and scheduling through out the pandemic resulting in backlogs in dresses and alteration scheduling. I am confident that having ordered a dress more than a year in advance that we hope to minimize scheduling issues. Thanks for the team at Pronovias for making it a fun experience!
Angelo Rutigliano: The 1 star is for the Customer Service team based in Barcelona (Valentina). Long story short they do not allow returns/store credit after purchases, even if you realize 5mins after the purchase that Saks Fifth Avenue) sells the same product 50% less. BEWARE and take your time to verify prices somewhere else (even internet).
Katja Hall: I had a great experience at Pronovias both picking out my dress and with alterations. I had to reschedule a fitting and they were very accommodating. My dress was done on time and they helped me shoot a video of how to bustle it which made the wedding day a lot easier! I’m really looking forward to seeing what my dress looks like after the Second Life alteration!
Samantha Lawyer: I had an amazing experience trying on bridal gowns at the Pronovias Boston store! I had already fallen in love with a particular Pronovias gown, and wanted to make sure it was 'the one' alongside my family members. Ruth showed us the original dress that inspired our visit, as well as several other dresses in a complete range of styles. She was patient, friendly, and well-informed about the gowns in the store. It was a wonderful experience all around for myself and my family. Would highly recommend as part of anyone's bridal journey!
Yi Guo: Becareful with using their booking system. They don't care if you got tested positive for covid. If you don't show up you get charged the $50 no show fee even if you cancel or reschedule the appointment.
Morgan Furber: Ruth made my experience at Pronovias wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about their various collections and really listened to what I was looking for. I would recommend shopping here!
Caroline Atwood: I had seven bridal appointments prior to Pronovias Boston and none were as helpful in finding my gown. My personal assistant (whose name I can't remember as it's been a few months) was fantastic in listening to what I wanted and providing styles which I asked to try on as well as other ones I might like. She also didn't stop the appointment at 90 minutes and really wanted me to get exactly what I wanted. I walked away with a stunning gown suggested by her but one that I would have never tried on myself. The staff also treated my mom with such kindness. It was such a win and I can't wait to rock my bridal look!
Heather McHale: Anna was simply outstanding! The whole experience from start to finish was more than I could ask for. I absolutely fell in love with a dress and can’t wait for the big day. Please visit Pronovias- simply the best!
Christine O' Brien: I had the best experience . The girl I had was so patient and very knowledgeable . And my dress I pick is Exquisite! The quality of the pronovias dresses is worth every penny .
Amanda Atkins: Ruth was wonderful! I’m still deciding on my gown but couldn’t be more appreciative of such a lovely experience. Thank you!
Kellie Helm: Thank you to the Pronovias team for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!
Julianne Bliss: I am set to get married in October and bought my dress in January. Both times I have had a scheduled fitting they called and asked me to move my appointment backwards to accommodate other people (today included and my second fitting was supposed to be Monday). I find this both completely nerve wracking and also very unprofessional. They mentioned they are moving me to accommodate a bride who is getting married this week and her dress isn’t even done yet! I also was told by one rep that she did not know why I was charged a fee by another rep. It seems like total chaos here. Not a fault of the reps but of management. If I knew this was going to be the case I would have gotten my dress somewhere else and I would recommend others do the same.I just hope to god my dress is ready for my wedding the way I want it to be! Not at all what I expected from Pronovias or how I wanted this experience to be.Update: I am getting married in one week and needed to go and take my dress from them and bring it to a new tailor to make sure that it gets done on time. I will be paying a rush fee and the condition of the dress when I picked it up was such that the new tailor needs to undo a lot of sloppy work and redo it. There were stains on the dress as well which now need to be cleaned. I am appalled at the customer service and overall management at this store. Appalled.Notice how the owner has commented on many of the five star reviews here but has actively avoided the negative ones of the ladies who had a bad experience with alterations ? This is how they treat clients when they mess up- by avoiding them. Shop somewhere else.
Brooke Snow: Mayka was my attendant, and she was phenomenal. She was incredibly helpful and kind. I'm so happy I purchased my dress at Pronovias.
Michelle Ganon: Dispiriting experience. Our salesperson was unengaged, slow to bring dresses, and unresponsive to requests for different styles or ideas. We arrived with high hopes and left feeling as though we’d been a burden. I’m actually glad Kels didn’t fall in love with a dress because I would not want to have to go back.
Sheryl L: I’ve tried on dresses at multiple price points and the dresses at Pronovias were the sweet spot between $2-3k. You can really feel the quality of these dresses and their designs are all flattering and beautiful. Ruth was instrumental in me finding my dress that weekend as she was incredibly helpful, patient, and accommodating. It’s also not a super high pressure sales environment which I personally really liked and appreciated in order to get clarity on selecting my top choice. Many thanks to Pronovias Boston for a wonderful experience!

BHLDN: what do users think?
Megan Murphy: i walked into my appointment not really knowing what i wanted and not having tried on any dresses prior, but thought it would be more of an experience to figure out what kind of dresses i liked. i ended up leaving with my dress that cecelia pulled for me after seeing the different things i liked about several of the dresses i tried on and i was blown away! i felt so comfortable and not at all pressured. this was such a great experience and i’m so thankful to have had cecelia helping me!
Sam Romilly: I was a bit nervous coming into BHLDN since I heard it was just a little nook in Anthropologie and they were strict with the 1 hour time limit... and take my word, my experience here was incredible from the minute I walked in. They had champagne, were very accommodating and I did not once feel rushed or short on time. Our consultant Madi was incredible. I walked out smiling ear to ear and knew I would be back to purchase (had to honor another appointment that afternoon). Sure enough, we came back and Madi lit up. I was allowed a few minutes to try the dress back on and reassured my decision. I 10000% recommend this BHLDN location and if you can, request Madi to assist you. She was knowledgable, honest, and had great suggestions. My mom, mother in law, and BFF are still raving about our experience. Thank you!!!!
Kimberly S: From start to finish, Maddie made the process easy and made me feel beautiful. I could tell she really knew each dress on the rack, and pointed out everything that made that particular dress special. She was super knowledgeable! Truly truly could not recommend Maddie enough. I’m walking away with the perfect dress which is crazy and amazing!
CC McGinn: I was fortunate to make it to the last day of your Newbury Street Boston, MA pop up shop in May 2021 which is where I found the most fabulous gown: Jenny by Jenny Yoo Tana Gown. The dress fit perfectly and needed minimal tailoring. I felt like a princess the entire night and I owe a large part of that to BHLDN.Background: My mom passed away in 2017 before my younger sister’s wedding. Right before she passed, BHLDN Chestnut Hill arranged to send a stylist to my house with a trunk full of dresses so my sister could try them on for my mom since my mom wasn’t able to leave the house. My sister picked her dress with my mom and I knew I needed to wear BHLDN for my special day, 5 years later, knowing how fondly my mom was of your dresses. The gratitude and customer service at BHLDN is unmatched and I am honored to have worn a BHLDN piece for my special day.Xoxo 🧡
Maggie Fogg: My consultant Kathy was so wonderful and helpful. You could tell from the beginning she knew her stuff. She offered very thoughtful insight to help in a very easily overwhelming process. I felt I could trust her judgment, even letting her choose a veil to try with my top dress. Of course it was perfect with the dress and not one I would have chosen on my own. I highly recommend making a stop at BHLDN and asking for Kathy!
S. L.: The sample selection of dresses for BHLDN in the Chestnut Hill location are absolutely disgustingly filthy. Some of these dresses were so badly worn out, yellowed and darkly stained in the pits that they no longer resemble wedding gowns.Imagine wearing gym clothes over and over and over again for months and months and months with never washing them after sweating and then profusely every time you go to the gym.I’ve never seen something like this in my entire life. I understand not washing on a weekly basis, but this was in a whole different caliber of nasty. They also gave a top recommendation for a seamstress/tailor in Watertown who was an absolute agitation to work with. Simple tailoring for a simple plain modern dress and I walked out spending almost a grand for the adjustments. Everyone I talked to said this is outrageous figures for tailoring. I was in such a desperation situation where I only had a couple weeks to get a new dress and tailored given my first dress was an absolute nightmare custom designed gone wrong.Needless to say from top to bottom this was one of the most expensive, frustrating, annoying, gross…insert more adjectives. Will never recommend to future brides looking for a feel good, timeless , memorable, excitable experience. If given an opportunity to go back and do it all over I would have gone elsewhere in a heartbeat.
Laura Boyd: We had an excellent experience with Kathy at BHLDN! This was our first stop for wedding dress shopping, and we found a dress very easily. Kathy was so helpful and professional the whole time. Loved the experience!
Alley C.: BHLDN was my first stop on the journey to find my wedding dress. The store itself is beautiful and the woman who checked me in was great. Aside from the dresses looking / feeling cheap, my issue was with my assigned stylist. Lacking personality and interest, my stylist made my mom and I feel like we were just one of many clients for the day.At one point in the appointment, when I asked to try a different dress on she rudely snapped “well you only have 15 minutes left.” which was an immediate turn off. Upon leaving, she handed us a card and we said “thanks for your time, what was your name again?” and she pointed to the card, said “it’s in there” and walked away.Even if I had found the perfect dress that day, I wouldn’t have bought it because I wouldn’t want to associate the memory with the horrible customer service experience we had.
Vi Trinh: Manager was very nice and professional. I was only in town for a couple days and she put me on a waitlist in case there was a cancellation, and luckily there was one. On the day of the appointment, my stylist, Sarabeth, was also very kind and efficient. All in all a wonderful experience!
Jennifer Estabrook: The quality of these bridesmaid dresses is superior to all others. But buyer beware they can not get fabric. I was told the dress was on back order and would be about 3week delay. We have a year until the wedding, so 3 weeks sounded like plenty of time. After 2 email notifications of additional delays, I just received a 3rd email stating my order was canceled. No phone call. No other options given. Just canceled. My phone call to them revealed it’s a fabric issue so all of our dresses were likely to be canceled as well. The wedding is still a year away! I’m not impressed with the bridesmaid dress selection from other designers so my frustration with this company is at its highest.
Nicole T: I had such a wonderful experience at BHLDN Chestnut Hill. Shinae was my consultant and she was amazing from start to finish. She took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and even went out of her way to check if any of the dresses I liked were back ordered before trying them on. The atmosphere here felt relaxed and I didn’t feel pressured. They have so many beautiful, high quality dresses and the prices cannot be beat. I’m so thankful I chose to come here first, I found my perfect wedding dress!
Kelsey Segaloff: SJ was my salesperson for my wedding dress appointment and SJ was awesome! Thanks to her, we came up with ways to make my wedding dress feel more like myself. She was so helpful and nice (as were the rest of the folks who were working in BHLDN!). I also appreciated the store's transparency about what was on back order. All in all, I had a really nice experience at BHLDN. Thanks SJ!
S EI: Damaged wedding gown had sent to me, do not get fooled like me for the pictures of the dress and the name of Anthropology. The customer service and the shipping service is horrible. I had to pay $700 alteration, 5 days before my wedding to be able to wear the dress. The customer service offered me refund then lowered the discount amount, which was to near to cover the costs of alteration. The package was misplaced in pur neighbors mail box, the refund for the first dress that I sent a day after receiving the dress is not in mu credit card yet.Worst experience ever...
Kristen Clary: Cecilia and Courtney were beyond hospitable and gracious. Worked with my time frame and made the whole experience so pleasant!
Poudy cat: We found a nice dress that fit perfectly, but the employee misadvised us by recommending going a size up since "display models are usually loosened". In the end we followed the advice and got a much too large dress, costing us a LOT of $$$ for alterations (wedding date was too close to go for refund).
Kimberly Miragliuolo: I highly recommend BHLDN for wedding dress shopping. My mother, friend, and I went here on a Saturday during COVID. The store was very focused on keeping all safe, masked, and distanced. The selection of dresses is gorgeous, and the ready-to-wear styles make it easy to envision a dress that actually fits you. The dresses are also clearly made to be enjoyed, danced in, and comfortable. Most importantly, my stylist Olivia was fantastic. I felt completely at ease, and trusted her. I have been dress shopping now at 4 stores total, and Olivia provided us the most fun and down-to-earth experience. She completely understood my style, my wedding vision, and was attentive to my mom's questions. Given Olivia's background as a seamstress, she also was able to clearly explain the possibilities of dresses through tailoring. Olivia even made a point to ask me about my fiancé, helping to ground the experience in what it truly is about - LOVE! I feel very grateful to have met and worked with Olivia, and feel very confident about my future purchase from BHLDN for a wedding dress.
Mark Green: Very clean and professional staff
Molly Oldfield: What a delightful, easy experience ! We found the perfect dress thanks to Kathy 💕 Kathy was beyond helpful ... a focused and calming presence ... stepping up, as needed, stepping back, to create space for us ... She suggested that we video tape the bride moving around in the dress, sitting down, fully trying it on ... while keeping us safe in the context of Covid limitations. May every bride & mother find someone like Kathy ... our Kathy is at BHLDN, Chestnut Hill. We recommend her without hesitation ❤️
Bonnie Blais: My daughter found the perfect dress!!
Sandy Bibeault: Ordered a gown online and paid the extra $23 for 2 day shipping. Order was confirmed and I was told I'd receive an email with tracking information when it shipped. 3 days later I still had not received anything regarding the shipment. On day #6 I received an email stating the order was "cancelled" because there were none in stock, and my credit card would be refunded. If there were none in stock they should not have even taken the order in the first place! Still waiting for the refund on my credit card. Will NEVER order anything from this company again!
Darlene: Kathy was soo wonderful and lovely!! She choose all the dresses ahead of time so I was able to try on the dresses without feeling rushed. She also allowed me to look for a few more dresses to try on. She was helpful by asking questions to guide me make a decision and added a veil to allow me to see w full ensemble! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND working with Kathy! Such a professional!!

Vows Bridal: what do users think?
Laura Passamonti: All the staff is so friendly and helpful
Karen Costello: Beautiful selection of wedding gowns. Very attentive staff!
Lauren Martel: I had a great experience at Vows, and Krystal was an amazing consultant! Having had a bad experience at another boutique, I was a little nervous to go dress shopping. They have the most gorgeous dresses, and Krystal was so friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. I got to go through the racks twice and she also let me go through the stock room to see if we could find a discounted dress. She was very respectful of my budget and asked me if I was okay trying on every dress that was over budget, even if I had already okay-ed a dress that was even more expensive. She was efficient, gently gave me her personal opinion, and I could tell she really did want me to find the perfect dress whether I got it there or not.
Allison Pilcher: Huge selection at different price points. Susie was wonderful!
Lindsey Minahan: Highly recommend. They went above and beyond to help me find my dream dress and then to resolve a scheduling issue that was entirely my fault to make sure I had everything in time for my alterations appointment. Loved both of the stylists that I worked with. Vows is amazing!
Jaime Wall: Visited this bridal shop a couple weeks ago and had the best time. Mandy was awesome and had such good energy, it made the whole experience. We ended up coming back to Vows to say yes to my dress after going to a couple other shops we had appointment. They help you through every step of the way, in and out of dresses! Would definitely recommend others to go here.
Jillian Casey: I can't emphasize enough how great my experience was here. Going into this appointment, I had minimal expectations. I assumed I would just be trying on some dresses and leaving with a better "idea" of what I wanted. That's because I went to a different bridal shop for my first appointment and left very confused with little progress on finding a dress or even knowing what I wanted. When I showed up to Vows, I met Mandy and she literally made the whole thing such a special experience. I had ideas of what I liked but I didn't know how to articulate it and was very stressed about that. She helped me navigate all of this so well. I showed her a pinterest board I had made and she just GOT IT right away and knew what I was looking for without me needing to find the words. She was so invested in making it a special day for me whether I found my dress or not. She encouraged us to look around, ask questions, take pictures, gave us time to debrief privately - She made me feel very heard and reassured. Also she has so much energy and is so sweet (and hilarious) -- My mom, sister and I felt so comfortable with her immediately like we had known her forever. Seriously, I could cry writing this post!!! BIGGEST PART - I found my dream dress!!! If I hadn't had an appointment here, I truly feel that I would've been searching for much, much longer and potentially not have found what I was looking for. Although I didn't spend as much time with the other employees - everyone I did speak to at Vows was so sweet. We had a few questions after we left about delivery / ordering accessories etc. and have called back and they're so nice and accommodating each time. Overall, I wish I could give Vows (and Mandy) more than 5 stars. I encourage everyone who reads this (and will be encouraging all of my friends / family who are getting married) to go to Vows. You will not regret it!!
Tina Valente: I found my dress here, yesterday, and had a great experience. I highly recommend working with Sara. She’s so knowledgeable and honest. There’s so many options here, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time, some dresses take 8 months+ to be made (before alterations). Anyone could find their dress here. Highly recommend
Abby Donahue: Got bullied into buying a final sale dress that I don't like. Way above my price point. No idea how that happened, but I would not recommend shopping here.
Carley Ward: I had a great experience! My consultant was super helpful, the environment was very relaxed, and I found my gown no problem. The only annoying but was that although I had saved dresses to my account online to have pulled in advance, it didn't work and the consultant could not see what I had selected.
Loren Lachapelle: I had an extremely poor experience all around at Vows and definitely don't recommend. Wedding dress shopping should be a customized and memorable experience, but the only thing memorable was the bad customer service I received. On the shopping day, it felt extremely rushed, although I did decide on a dress at the end (though could have kept looking). When my time was up with the stylist, I felt as though I was being pushed out the door. But it was a busy day, and I understand they had to keep things moving. Fast forward to a few months later, my dress came in. I called to set up a pickup on a weekend day, as I am not local and live 3+ hours away. I simply wanted to try the dress on at pickup to see if it fit -- however, I was told I couldn't come until February if I wanted to try it on during a weekend day. Come on, this doesn't take more than 10 minutes, I thought to myself. I was frustrated and explained, again, that I'm not local and really need a weekend day. There was zero flexibility. I finally determined I'd have to take a day off from work if I wanted this dress before Feb. Fast forward again, I had a flight into Boston incoming on a Friday. I made the appointment at Vows for that afternoon to pick up/try on the dress. As it usually goes, the flight was delayed and I was cutting it close to get to Vows before they closed at 5:30. This whole time I was communicating with them, calling to say I was going to be late and/or there at the last minute. They were totally unwilling to stay open even a minute later for me to pick up my dress, even after I reminded them (again) I lived hours away. I called them when I was 0.1 miles away, stating I was stuck at a red light. The time was 5:27. They told me it was too late, they close at 5:30 no exceptions, and if I happened to get there, I would not be able to try on. I was very upset. When I got there at 5:29, the door was still unlocked thankfully, and they reluctantly let me try it on, however, the woman helping was clearly annoyed that she had to stay 4 minutes late. I thanked her for letting me try it on, stated how thankful I was for her time, apologized for being late, and also stated that I would have been disappointed if I had to drive home empty handed. The reply I got from that was "this will teach you to schedule these types of appointments on days that you travel, won't it." Totally unneeded and I was clearly just their biggest inconvenience of the day. Very very disappointed with the service I received and should have gone to a small shop in my home state.
Adrienne Jack: Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Mandy was my stylist and she is amazing. My mum and sister talked me into bridal shopping and I was skeptical I could get that excited about it, but Mandy’s energy was infectious! Vows is big so there were a lot of options but she pointed us in the right direction for my budget, understood my style straight away, listened to our feedback, and was honest with hers. The dress I chose was the first one I tried on! The sample was available to buy but I had another bridal appointment that day, and Mandy kindly kept the dress off the floor until I was ready to decide. When we came back to buy it we were helped by other staff who were also very patient, encouraging, and efficient. Liv even took the time to help me try on my dress again. We are very happy we chose Vows and feel very well taken care of by the genuinely passionate staff! 100% recommend
Megan Nowik: I had such an amazing experience with Vows finding my dream wedding dress! My group visited after a less than stellar appointment at a big box bridal shop and from the moment we walked in, I could tell Vows was different in all the best ways. My stylist, Liuba, instantly made me feel so comfortable, she listened, pulled some amazing dresses while also helping guide me to pick out a few on my own, and stayed with me the entire appointment. There were no limits on how many dresses I could try on, a huge selection, and such care taken to make sure I had a good experience. Liuba truly went out of her way to help me find the exact dress I was dreaming of within my budget and made me feel so special the whole appointment. She let me take my time and I never once felt any pressure from her. I can't recommend Vows enough and is definitely a must if you live in the area!
Ambrosia Milan: This was the first and only bridal shop I went to for my dress. A few of my friends had great experiences and found their wedding dresses here too!So thankful to the team at Vows for helping me find my dress and aiding me in selecting my veil. The team was so patient with me as I tried on dress after dress until I found the one that was beyond perfect!! I cannot say enough great things about the ladies at Vows (Mandy is a true gem!) with their help and suggestions, they understood my vision and worked tirelessly help me chose the dress that was right for me. I felt so comfortable and at ease the entire time and I feel so confident in my final decision. Would recommend any other bride to come here to find their dream wedding dress!!!
Beth Kurson: Absolutely the best bridal store!!! The selection is amazing and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. Olivia the owner couldn’t have been nicer to work with. Highly recommend!!!
Carolyn: This place has pushy staff as noted in other reviews. They ask you to make a list online in advance of the appointment, but then tell you to go to the racks and start pulling dresses without any assistance from your consultant. No other bridal shop I’ve been to is like this. My consultant was absent for most of my appointment, rushing around doing anything but helping us. They do have many dresses but they all pretty much look the same. They didn’t end up having many dresses in styles I liked, and once the saleswoman realized a sale was slipping away, she started becoming pushy about dresses I was clearly indifferent about and pulling dresses that were way out of my specific requests, both style and budget. Their selection below $2500 is subpar. They basically pressure you into trying to make an appointment to come back if you don’t walk out of there with a sale after the appointment. Honestly the whole experience felt like I was working with a car salesperson. I went to 3 other bridal shops and all were far superior to this experience. Go literally anywhere else.
Sodany Mau: I absolutely loved my experience at Vows Bridal! I had Louisa S. as my stylist and she was amazing. I liked bits and pieces of the dresses I had on my wishlist and she grabbed a dress at the last minute that had all the details I said I liked. She truly listened and understood what I was looking for. All of the other dresses I tried on were above my budget but the last one she brought it met my budget exactly. Thank you so much for making my experience so great, Louisa!
Sam Romilly: I'll start by saying they had a great selection and booking an appointment was very easy! Their front desk staff were very nice. However, the whole experience here was anything but personalized. They did not have my 5 dresses on my wishlist pre selected as noted. When we were finally allowed to come inside, we were told to wander around and look at dresses until our consultant was ready for us, our consultant kept leaving us to do other things in the alteration department that half the time it was just me in the dressing room attempting to zipper and pull the dresses on.Vows felt much more of warehouse where you had to know what you wanted. I walked out without a dress. I would recommend to someone that doesn't need guidance and will not be overwhelmed pulling your own dresses.
Mary Curran Lannibois: Excellent experience with Krystal! I'm a 40-year old that never dreamed about a wedding, so when I saw all the dresses in white I nearly froze. While trying on some dresses I picked, Krystal listened to me and asked me questions -- and I think these were clues to her about what kind of dress would suit be best. This dress, Peyton-C by Enozani, was like it was made for me. It was the style that suits my everyday style, my love for old Hollywood glamour, and it suited my French wedding. The bow was also detachable so after dinner I removed it and danced the night away!My sister found her dress at Vows and so did I! They really listen and help -- and are super friendly. There is also a lot of social media accounts with dresses geared towards younger brides, and Vows had a great selection for those of us 40-something brides!Lastly, I had excellent experiences with all the staff members at Vows. Great work, ladies!
K Y: Krystal and Mandy are incredible! I worked with both of them for my two appointments and they were so personable and really made me feel comfortable and heard while making the appt fun and focused on you.I’m so happy I found my dress at Vows and could not speak more highly about what a great experience I had and the copious amount of choices you have.
Tyla Levesque: Very great experience buying my dress, when the dress came in from the designer (nothing to do with Vows) there was something wrong with it, but Vows reached out and got me a new one made asap and had it rushed. Olivia is AMAZING and so patient and understanding. Krystle was awesome at helping me pick my dress out on the first appointment. 1000/10 I recommend anyone to go here and have told all of my friends. Thank you so much Vows for the great experience!!

Angela's Bridal: what do users think?
Lauren Neely: I cannot say enough good things about Angela’s!!I think I worked with Jenny. She was SO kind, patient, and fun to work with. I ended up coming for two bridal appointments. The first time, I didn’t LOVE anything I tried on, but I absolutely loved the store and experience. So I went back today! And I found my absolute DREAM dress. I didn’t want to take it off.As a plus-size bride it was a little intimating starting the dress shopping experience. However, Angela’s was so comfortable, and had a TON of plus size sample dresses. We are 100% going to go back to get our bridesmaid dresses. Highly recommend!!!
Nicole D.: What an absolutely amazing experience! I went wedding dress shopping and had a terrible experience the day before somewhere else and this was night and day. I felt so taken care of and attended to. I could not recommend Angela's more. Amazing selection!
Madeline Tejada: I have bought a couple of dresses from this location including an evening gown and wedding dress. They have been very nice.
Chantelle Jones: Angela's Bridal has a wonderful selection of gowns that are suitable for all budgets. Taty is amazing, and does a superb job of finding gowns that tailor to the brides style, fit, and price range. If you are looking for a beautiful gown, check this place out.
Kristen Matta: Angela's Bridal is a dream to work with—so is Taty! Overall, the experience was amazing, low-pressure and fun! Never once did I feel pressured to make a decision (even with my tight timeline for a dress.) Their shop is clean, organized and comfortable. They have a huge mirror area where they adjust the lighting to represent more of the reception's vibe. BRILLIANT! I highly recommend any Bride visiting Angela's for they dream gown. Thank you for an amazing experience!!
Cynthia Perry: Decent place not too much to write about just decent.
Jordan Eck: Came to see my best friend try on dresses and she found her wedding gown!! She looks absolutely phenomenal in it and I can't wait for her wedding in June! ❤️
Sabrina Johnson: I got married in July 2022 and started dress shopping in October 2021. I was on a slight time crunch to allow enough time for production, shipping and alterations. I had gone to one dress shop prior to Angela’s, but had a much better experience at Angela’s bridal. I even found multiple dresses that I loved and was never rushed while I took forever to decide. She helped me go back and forth in the dresses several times. The place is cute, clean and had a great big mirror, which helped with seeing the whole dress (for big trains) and seeing how it flowed while walking. I had an amazing experience and will always recommend!
Meghan McGann: I got married in June 2022 and started dress shopping in May 2021 - I went to three different bridal salons and by far had the best experience at Angela's! Taty was so kind and knowledgeable but didn't make me feel pressured at all (which was not my experience at other places!) I ended up getting my dress here and they were great - I got the top of my dress lined and everything went so smoothly and communication was great. I loved my dress so much and would absolutely recommend shopping here!
Isabella: I had an amazing experience at Angela’s! Taty was absolutely amazing and really took her time to find me choices that matched my style and what I described to her. She was so patient and so knowledgeable. I ended up buying my dream dress that same day! I also had gone a prior time with my friend to try on dresses for her, and Jenny was her consultant. She was also awesome and so helpful! (Which is why I ended up booking an appointment for myself!) The place is really big, so clean and tighty, and has a great aura about it. They also have sooo many choices. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and I will be recommending this place to everyone I know! I will also be bringing my bridesmaids here when it gets closer to my wedding date! Thank you Taty for an incredible experience!!!
Andy Bienvenido Suárez Cruzeta: Excellent super helpful and so family oriented, family business they treat you like a family.
Day Sii: Best place to find Quinceñera dresses!!! Taty was patient and very friendly. My daughter tried 4-5 dresses. We drove to NJ to end up back at Angela’s Bridal. Highly recommend💕
V J: Jenny's warm and friendly personality made for a wonderful shopping experience. I felt relaxed and no pressure at all, which is definitely not the case everywhere you go. As she was pulling styles for me, I was able to look through the racks myself to see if any caught my eye. They also have a small section for discounted, off-the-rack samples available for take home the same day!
Patricia Elizabeth Wright: Fitting for my daughter, the staff was great. Great selection of dresses 👗
Bob Johnson: Amazing. Super helpful
Noor Toraif: Wow. I had a DREAM experience at Angela's Bridal, and with Jenny in particular. Jenny is warm, calm, knowledgable, and soothing. The dress collection is excellent but the experience here is even better. I had the unenviable task of finding two wedding dresses for two cross-continent parties with a short timeframe and Jenny knew exactly what to pull. I bought both dresses at Angela's and each time, I asked Jenny to pick one based on her experience, and instantly fell in love with the dress. They don't do alterations in house but they connected me with a lovely seamstress who seems very professional and accommodating. Hoping for a smooth alterations process. The store is also family-owned which was really important to us.Thank you SO much to Angela's Bridal for helping me find both dresses and for making the experience so fun. 3
Alan Goldstein: Gave very personal service to my daughter. Great selection & better quality. Very hands-on service.
Kelsie Zeliff: Great service and range of dresses!
Kristina Stuopis: I got my wedding dress here! I don’t remember the name of the woman who helped me but she was so kind and helpful! She helped with the whole process and just made the experience so amazing! Definitely recommend!
Erin Grafton: Angela's was a perfect bridal dress shopping experience! This was my 5th store looking for my wedding dress. The woman helping was patient, knowledgeable and made wonderful recommendations. It was a calm, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend this bridal store! My best friend and I had such a wonderful experience, we are going back for her dress at the end of the month!
Lisandra Pagan: We were looking for our goddaughters Quinceanera dress and were so pressed with the knowledge, skill, and experience Angela has. She was so kind, caring, and patient with us as we tried on dresses and she so graciously helped us find it! Whatever the occasion, you will find it here and more! Thank you Angela! You and your daughters are AMAZING!

Anthropologie: what do users think?
Priyanka Pande: My favorite store on Newbury, Boston is now permanently closed. :(
Bey Blade: Good but overpriced
Jonathon Murphy: Great store!
HaBoSh Al: I love it . Thier outfit always unique and colorful .But a little expensive
Dianne Bryce: I visited this store today and wow!! I was treated to exceptional customer service across the board. I was searching for an outfit for a specific event and was so lucky to receive 1:1 attention from Jeanne, the personal stylist on staff. She and others made great suggestions, hunted for different options and styles, and even called a nearby store to reserve an item in my behalf. What a welcoming group, I can’t recommend them enough!!
Kiley Bates: Absolutely love this company, however I wish there was more variety in home products rather than mainly candles and mugs
Nicholas Estes: This is a nice clothing and accessory store in a great location. It also has a very large sale room with discounted items.
J: Home decor has a lot of joyful and artistic things to bring life into your home. We often find things we really love there!
Ειρηνη Πυθαμιτση: Good quality, interesting designs but a bit expensive
Sergey Bebenin: Biggest Anthropologie you will ever find.
skippy n: My wife really likes this store. They let us take in our small dog which is awesome. I like the dishes we got, very cool.
Charissa Maguire: Super helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful store
Kate Goldberg: Love it. Sale section rocks.
Walker Freeman: Closed early on standard weekday. Drove all the way in to fine a hand written note on the door. Was coming to do an exchange. Will be sure to come back and do a return instead.
KingKong Megatron: As a tourist from out of town, I wanted to take my daughter here to shop for clothes. We frequent the store in Scottsdale, AZ so wanted to see this store’s selection. The saleswoman (who opened the store) was really snotty right off the bat. I guess we interrupted her breakfast as she was eating Dunkin’ Donuts and drinking coffee at the counter right out in the open. Pretty unprofessional, if you ask me.My daughter approached her a couple times to ask questions, but again she seemed very put off by our mere existence in her store. I guess she needed time to finish her breakfast and process that coffee before interacting socially with other people. We will continue to shop the store in Scottsdale, where customers are treated very well. In hindsight, it never occurred to me that the sales person is probably unhappy because she can’t afford the clothing that she sells. Still, Anthropologie could probably do a better job of selecting their employees.
Evan Marx: Very cool Boston store
Behnam Shahossini: Difficult to find merchandise
I D: Clothing store with great selection and style. You can always count in some great finds.
Jasmine Badani: The rudest and most uncoordinated staff out of all the Anthropologie locations. Noticed a product was defected after paying and the sales woman was in a huff that I asked them to replace it. Only the changing room staff were helpful.
Abby Clifford: I love Anthropologie, been shopping in many different stores but for some reason every time I enter the Newbury street store I am profiled(every God damn time).
Star Queen: I love everything in this place. Boho global vibe. High quality unique.❤🙌Clothing Furniture Candles Jewelry. Special everywhere you look

Winnie Couture Bridal Shop: what do users think?
God's Child: Hi, I recently visited the Winnie Couture Bridal. And had the pleasure of working with Daisy she's amazing and made me feel very comfortable and beautiful as every bride should feel. I recommend this shop first it's wonderful service and kindness.
Rachel Harris: We had such a wonderful visit today. Daisy was absolutely fabulous and so attentive. She 100% understood my vision and helped me find an absolutely incredible dress that I got to say yes to in front of some of the dearest women in my life. Highly recommend this shop.
Naomi Vargas: Loved the entire experience!! Daisy was soooo nice and worked so hard to help me find my dress which i obviously said yes to !! Daisy also helped me add customizations to make sure i was getting by my dream dress !! Would highly recommend the experience with Daisy !!
Caroline Allan: Update: I am so sad to have to post this update. When I went to pick up my dress, it was the wrong color :( . When I asked about why the color was wrong, the associate "confirmed" that this was the color that I had initially signed off on back when I ordered the dress. When I got to my car, I checked my original order form, and realized that they had added in the wrong color AFTER I had signed for it without getting my signature on the update. What is even more shocking and disappointing was how it was handled after the fact. They repeatedly told me there was nothing they could do to help, were not responsive to me, and basically gaslit me the whole time claiming it was my fault. I also learned that the amazing associate I had worked with when I chose my dress has since left. I had a great experience choosing my dress, but unfortunately, I would not recommend this shop because if ANYTHING goes wrong in the ordering process, they are not willing to help. At this point, it is too late to order a new dress, which is a bummer. I hope that their future customers aren't treated in the same way as I was!_______________________________________________________Lauren was the absolute best! She was so sweet throughout the entire process and made me feel so beautiful in everything I tried on. She went above and beyond to clip me into each dress to make sure I could picture exactly what each would look like on my wedding day. I am very tall and tend to wear a size above most sample sizes, so I am sometimes anxious coming into appointments like this, but Lauren was so warm and never once made me feel uncomfortable. 10/10 recommend!
Sean Q: This special and bespoke salon is every girls dream, in one word - dazzling!! I had the pleasure of working with Daisy. She was professional, relaxed, knowledgeable, and made feel completely comfortable and beautiful!! If you are looking for the ultimate shopping experience put Daisy/Winnie at the top of your list!
Zhu Cui: I had an awesome experience getting my wedding dress at Winnie. The store interior is very pretty with excellent lighting. They have many different designs with options for customization. Alexa and Daisy were very professional, patient and helpful. They walked me through different options for customization. I was thrilled to learn that a zipper can be added to detach the train. I'm looking forward to getting my dress!
Allison Curran: Daisy was amazing! Made me feel so comfortable, no pressure just support. She was truly amazing and the whole experience was perfect!
Jessica Milord: Absolutely loved my experience at Winnie Couture Bridal. The dresses are gorgeous and I had the pleasure of working with Daisy who was AMAZING! She was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable about the dresses.-Jess
Katilyn Coburn: The girls at Winnie were amazing! They helped my build a custom gown within budget for the cost of a comparable other dress. They didn’t pressure me and really helped me visualize what my dress would look like even though custom.
Elizabeth Leahy: I cannot begin to explain how amazing my experience was becoming a Winnie bride!! We had gone to another salon prior to Winnie and were treated with disrespect. A high-end salon on Newberry Street in Boston should be treating their customers with the upmost respect to ensure they would like to buy a gown. When we walked into Winnie we were instantly at home. We were greeted by the two most lovely bridal attendants and we specifically worked closely with Deisy. She was the sweetest most kind and soft-spoken person I think I’ve ever met. She dealt with my indecisiveness and helped me feel my absolute best trying on dresses. She made me feel confident in my own skin and made me feel that no matter what I decided on I was going to look unbelievable. The dress I wanted ended up being a little bit of this and a little bit of that and it’s amazing being able to customize your dress with Winnie. I ended up customizing a dress specifically to my wants and needs. Daisy Has been open for communication throughout the week since my first trip . She was available to call or text with any questions and was extremely responsive. I went back a week later to Winnie on Boylston and ordered my dress and I cannot wait to return for my fittings when it arrives. You can tell the girls at work they are know what they’re talking about and trust and value your opinions and your desires for your big day. I am so fortunate that my maid of honor made the appointment at Winnie because it was the best experience ever!
Vanessa Law: I was absolutely blow away at how beautiful and great the service was! I had Alexa and another consultant that helped me and she was extremely helpful, professional. They went out of their way to customize and made the process feel comfortable!Although I did not go through with Winnie, I recommend them if you wanted to customize your dress!
Kayla Farren: I was not expecting to find my dress - it was the first day I was going to look and I just was going to educate myself on the different styles. But then we found Winnie and everything changed. We didn’t even have an appointment but Alexa was able to accommodate us and made the day so so special. She was so helpful and so sweet. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Instead, she made me feel so special and beautiful! At the end of the day, we were almost there for 3 hours but walked out with the most beautiful and custom dress. Without Alexa, this would have never happened and we are so so grateful to have crossed paths with her. I will be recommending Alexa at Winnie for all future brides in my life - it was the perfect day!
Tinu King: The level of service I received here was stellar! Mostly because of my stylist - Daisy. Daisy went above and beyond for me during my final dress fitting to make sure my dress looked perfect and I was happy. She was my advocate with the alterations specialist that worked on my dress, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. She’s so detail oriented, bringing up ideas I didn’t even think of to make sure I was happy in my dress. For anyone considering this bridal store, don’t hesitate. And if you’re working with Daisy, you’ll be a happy bride!
Lauren: Do NOT shop here!!! Some of my friends got their dresses here. They scam you out of thousands of dollars, the dress will come late even if you pay extra to have it rushed. One friend looked at her bill after she purchased and saw that the stylist had added extra alterations and an extra $700 without her knowledge! One dress never even got made because management never responded to the workers about an issue and the company never pays for their mistakes. They made my friends dress completely wrong, multiple seamstresses said it couldn’t be fixed, even the one that Winnie recommended and management said they would fix it but never did. She had to get a whole new dress after spending $6,000 for the dress and $1,000 trying to get it fixed. We so badly wanted to love this store because it was beautiful on the inside but once they pressure you into buying a dress, they no longer care about you and you end up wasting so much money for a dress you most likely can’t even wear!
Stacey Fragile: I got a dress from here in like May.. the stated i needed to put 50% down by august for it to be made in time for next June… okay but I’ve been calling since august, texting, even emailing and i still haven’t gotten a response … now the deadline has passed and i still haven’t heard from anyone.
Marissa Mooney: I booked an appointment a few weeks ago and no one at Winnie showed up. I called multiple times, left a voicemail, and texted the number of a Winnie representative. No one has gotten back to me. I would not advise booking your appointments here.
Kassy Dillon: My sister's dress was supposed to be in three weeks ago, and now the store has been avoiding our calls and emails for over a week! The wedding is in less than a month and we still have no idea where the dress is and can't get a hold of them. So unprofessional.
Marisol Crespo: Awesome staff
Danielle Wiggins: My BFF scheduled an appointment for me to try on dresses while I was down in Charlotte, NC visiting. Alyssa, my Winnie Consultant, really took the time to get to know me and hit it on the head with the dresses pulled for me to try on. I had no intention of buying a dress that weekend but ended up finding THEE dress!! Can't stop drinking about my beautiful dress and the awesome experience I had!
Camilla Woodley: Winnie Couture blew me away with their premier service and gorgeous selection of dresses. This was my third shop of the day and I almost cancelled due to the fact that I thought I had found MY DRESS earlier in the day. But boy was I wrong! The quality and class of the dresses in this shop go above and beyond any other. Lauren was amazing. She listened and critiqued along with my bridal crew and brought out my dream dress! Not only did she recommend a style that I would never have tried on my own, but it turned out to be the one!! I would recommend Winnie Boston to any bride looking to find a truly unique, elegant and couture dress for their special day. Thank you Winnie!!! xoxoxo
Shreya Vijay: I saw amazing reviews of this shop and it was better than I expected! Bri is an amazing stylist who is very intuitive and attentive. She incorporated my bridesmaids' comments and feedback, which I really appreciated. I felt so comfortable throughout the process too. I'm so glad my first bridal shop experience went so well!
