I’m a Dental Professional in private practice and take care of elite and the less fortunate in two different practices in the Boston area. I started my day in my FIGS green monogrammed scrubs into the S.End and was exhausted so I stopped and grabbed lunch from a really nice Indian restaurant and decided to eat it in the Copley, Back Bay entrance near Cafe Nero..there were no trash cans to toss my items to discard.So… I’m walking around with backpack, Mask, head cover.. and I decided to check out Neiman’s Family & Friends sale but especially Longchamp bags; love their leather bags.I walk in with my items to discard, no trash barrels in sight, no nearby restrooms & proceed to ask an Employee “ where are your Longchamp bags?” He says “oh to the back, Anna can help you “ . I went to the back , mind you I currently use a medium sized caramel blush Longchamp crossbody.I walk to the section and see Anna a full figured woman who was checking Inventory with her male Asian “American” colleague and asked “ by chance do you guys have a trashcan as I’ve been looking for one, Anna responded “ they didn’t have one in the Mall? I said “ no they didn’t have one and she said they should have one.. “ I said “ well they didn’t, I looked and do you really think I’d be walking around with trash if I could have thrown it away”?She did not offer to toss it.. not that she had to but hey…. It was the “accusatory side eye”Anyway with trash in hand andAgainst my better judgment, I stayed in the store looking at the bag IWanted to purchase, brought it over to Anna who gave me the price but I decided Not to purchase it, the bag costs over $200.I didn’t splurge because I didn’t want her to get commission on the sale.I went to Saks where I was treated with sincere dignity and respect and Purchased the bag that made my whole shopping experience worth it after such a long work week.I’m truly tired of the shenanigans of Customer Service.Either you are sincere and professional or you are not on the first shot..I love it when people show you Who they are… Respectfully..Strive to do better.. Always..my current bag & the Saks Bag 🎯

Meagan Leahy: I purchased a pair of manolo blahnik shoes for my brothers wedding but they didn’t fit. I brought the unworn shoes back with receipt in hand looking to return them and purchase a pair of louboutins however the woman was almost immediately put off that I would even approach her. Once I said I was in need of exchanging the shoes she took my receipt and immediately handed it back stating it was outside of the window and I should have read the text “right in front of me” on the receipt. I began to try and explain I was looking to exchange and purchase a shoe of greater value but she cut me off and told me to refer to my receipt. I still plan on purchasing another pair of shoes but will look to purchase elsewhere as this woman didn’t have an ounce of customer service or willingness to work on the solution.

Lee Estabrook: There's no doubt NM is a high-end shop with really nice things. That said, Neiman Marcus Boston must be the absolute worst shopping experience. Not only is the selection not so great, not even close, but the level of customer service in the mens department today was bleak and just plain rude. Bought a tie to wear to work and while looking at several suits the supposed customer service rep walked away, and went to the register around the other end of the mens area and stood staring at us as it we were an terrible inconvenience to him. It literally made no sense. So we paid and when asked why we were being rushed his response was he had other customer to attend. Ok no problem just explain that and we would have gladly waited. Upon checking out and paying, he then announced he did not have a bag for the item and we would need to get one up-stairs. This has to be the most crazy experience particularly at such a high-end shop, known for service. With service like this, It's no wonder NM is nearly out of business and companies like Chanel have removed their product lines from the stores. This type of treatment and lack of customer service to match its supposed exclusivity truly explains everything.

Adham Youssef: I had the most uncomfortable experience of my life here. Do not come in if you aren’t white. I had read the other reviews that mentioned the same thing and didn’t understand until I went in. I was followed for 45 minutes by a bald sales rep, bob who stood 2 feet away watching me the whole time. When I asked him for help he asked a question about cotton out of nowhere and refused to help me my rest of the time there. This store is explicitly racist, and even though management knows, nothing is going to be done.

Nadeem Mazen: I stopped by right at closing with a tall order for staff who had every right to close up and go home. Brittany, the manager, was a super star. She found me an outfit that fit great and looked great, in record time. The other worker and I got to chatting and they were both as pleasant and gracious as can be. This store location looks so good and it's clear that the manager loves her work and has a great relationship with her employees.

The first order confirmation said up to 21 days for processing, but then when I contacted customer service, I got a generic response of “we’re extreme busy, orders taking 21 days or more to process” and they could not give me any other updates. It’s been almost a month now and still no update on delivery. 😡***Wow! After your response yesterday stating that my order would be shipped by the end of the week, now I get an email saying my order has been cancelled???!!! What kind of business are you running here!? This seems a bit retaliatory? I just wanted the products I ordered, never asked the order be cancelled! Horrible business! I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office!***

Mo Shen: Horrible online customer service. I bought a birthday gift for a friend which did not even ship out 2 weeks after placing the order. I emailed them to cancel since it wouldn’t arrive on time. They gave a rude response as if I was at fault for not reading their FAQ about sale items (the FAQ made no mention of cancellations about sale items, and based on a few of the reviews below this store has no problem with randomly cancelling items even after an order is placed). Honestly, if they had just apologized and gave me an estimated shipment date I would have been fine even if they didn’t allow cancellations. But the customer service was abysmal, responses were obviously super low effort or copy-pasted, and still no update on when my order will even be SHIPPED, let alone delivered.

But I soon realized “you get what you pay for”Opened my box to find one shoe box damaged. I ignored that part in my complaint because you can’t wear the shoe box. But the way my box was packed , was wild in itself. If a company is so busy that you must wait 21 business days for an order to ship , you would think said company would be invested in proper packaging.I checked the first box and found a clearly worn pair of shoes. Clearly worn with scuff marks, toe box stains , outsole stains and all. When I reached out I was told I can keep the shoes and get 15% off or return them for a full refund , and then make another order. But then at that point I must wait another 21 BUSINESS days for my shoes. All of this FOR BODEGA’S MISTAKE.Not only am I asked to be patient for extended shipping times , I’m also asked to tolerate and be understanding of Bodega’s poor processes and execution.Why is there no urgency in fixing your mistake ? Why is there no formal exchange process? Why no accountability, here as a business ?Whoever reads this be careful shopping online here. If you buy any sales items you’re not going to be treated like a regular customer 🤯🤯.

In the initial confirmation email they informed me due to high volume order would ship within 21 days. I was fine with that… After about 4 full weeks(28 days) and not being sent , I contacted them to see if I could cancel my order, they told me I couldn’t because my shirts were sale items. Not ideal but this isn’t even my issue.. it gets worse.The issue is the items still weren’t shipped for another few days and all of a sudden they told me one of my shirts would be canceled & refunded.. they did process a partial refund. However, one email said a specific shirt would be canceled but the shipping info said that same shirt had been sent. From there I knew something was fishy but I had no option but to wait until my package arrived for final results. Upon receiving my package today ,I noticed they only sent ONE SHIRT.. I waited over a month for a package, which was almost 2 weeks longer than they told me , just to only receive 1/3 of what I originally ordered !! Never again!! This has been the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had .

Every one I had spoken to either hung up on me or never transferred the call. Once I finally got a hold of someone, they seemed reluctant to even check and see if the item i wanted was in stock. After telling me what was in stock, they abruptly said ‘bye bye’ and hung up with out any thing else being said.
Stefanie Charity: After leaving Neiman’s decided to pop in the Longchamp women’s handbag section after a long Saturday at work, Anthony did an excellent job and helped me select a new Longchamp women’s handbag .Unfortunately it wasn’t on sale forfriends & family but the whole customer service was sincere, professional and refreshing, he seemed genuinely interested in helping me. What a relief!!

Tried it at home, it wasn’t my colour so I went back to return it and it was the same lady that sold me the foundation, she seemed very upset and just grabbed the receipt out of my hand and then just shooed me away, Now the second time I went to buy a twilly at the Dior store, was greeted nicely but once i went back to return it they told me to go away and couldn’t return it because it was “used” even though the sales associate wrapped it in around my bag. Don’t know but I think this store is very racist because i kept getting looks up and down and judged because i was struggling with my english pronunciation. Very disappointed. Won’t ever be coming in again

The associate claimed it would take 3-5 days to recieve and even 6 days later, I heard nothing from thr store regard my order. Sak’s online system does not connect to the store purchase which I could not track my order because there is no order number on the store receipt! Too much complications to chase cat tails, manager to manager that we have called 3 time and no one resposible for my order, even the lady on fragrance section who sold it to me shave it off. I was really upset. The assc also forced me to open a credit card to receive 10% off instea of just sign up for my email online.

Yimeng Wang: purchased a YSL Nikki from Saks last year and found out that the YSL head quarter weren't able to authenticate that, resulting in me not able to receive any warranty or other after service. This is very bad and disappointing plus surprising situation, but Saks continue to refuse to provide ANY solution, not a refund, nothing. They just kept telling me they are authorized retailer regardless my email from YSL saying they were not able to authenticate that. Makes me question the quality of all other items they sell.

Emily Schlotterbeck: I had a pleasurable and easy experience while purchasing a pair of shoes for work. Store was relatively empty and they had my size in stock. The return process however, has been the exact opposite. The website shows hours open on Saturday until 9pm. I show up at 6:50pm and the door is locked and lights are off, but there are 2 workers standing at the cash register. I call and basically get told the website hours are wrong and they always close at 7pm but that night there was “an emergency” and they needed to close early. I was quite disappointed and reached out on the website contact page to voice my frustrations. If I had known the store closed at 7, I would have gone earlier. Also it did not seem like there was an emergency as the worker had time to answer my call in the same amount of time a simple return would take. I check the hours for during the week and planned to stop by this morning before working. The website said open at 9:30am. I arrive at 10:15am or so today and the door is once again locked. I call the store asking what time they open and am told between 10:30-11am because of technical difficulties. I work 10:30am-7pm and I voice my frustrations as I have now have gone out of my way and tried to return shoes twice. I was told that if I went this upcoming Saturday between 10:30am and 7pm that the store would be open and if I was over the 21 day return mark, that as long as the shoes were unworn (which they are) and that I had the receipt (which I do), they would make an exception. It is unacceptable and unprofessional to not have updated and accurate store hours on the website or at least posted on the door. Unfortunately, I don’t work from home so I have to rely on the store hours to try and get somewhere around my job schedule. The worker on the phone this morning was nicer and more understanding than the female I spoke to on Saturday but I am still quite frustrated. I plan on making a final trip to the store, returning the shoes this upcoming Saturday, and will then not be shopping from this store again.

Peter Lakov: Refused a return for a jacket and a sweater ($600 total) because the labels were not attached to the items. Of course they won't be, as I bought them for presents, and I didn't want the price tags to show - even though they could check and find them in their system. I've shopped many times there in the past, but this experience leaves me wondering if I should continue. If you're going to shop there, proceed with caution, and read very (VERY) carefully their small print - don't expect the common courtesy of typical stores.

Anastasia Yefremova: Absolutely fell in love with the clothes here, and this is a great location. The staff is super helpful, especially in the denim section. And I love their program that allows you to recycle old jeans for $30 off a pair of their own jeans. Their summer dresses are easy/breezy, and their fall/winter sweaters are some of the warmest and comfiest I own. I also got a pair of high top leather/velour sneakers that were worth every penny I paid. By far the most comfortable pair I currently own, though I had to break them in a bit first. Pricy, but a great treat from time to time. It's all just really good quality.

Lulu Al Mutawa: Terrible, terrible management, the manager Lorenzo was a nightmare and honestly a diva he was responsible for my poor experience and bad customer service. I am a regular shopper and he asked the saleswoman who was helping me at the time to stop helping me and go “fix a mannequin” which is not normal and then when things got weird between two salespeople and my clothes because he took my original salesperson away, he wouldn’t make eye contact or get off his phone until I said I would wait for him to finish whatever he was doing (as it was like I was talking to like a 13 year old who didn’t want to look up). When later they needed to call him back to approve delivering my bags to my house, he refused to come back and talk to me and said to find another manager. I’m shocked that this is how a manager treats a regular paying customer at a luxury department store. Definitely looking into taking my shopping elsewhere and I advise everyone to speak up against this quality of customer service as it will only get worse if the customer does not voice their concern. It’s not acceptable to treat paying customers this way. 0 Stars if i could for Lorenzo and Lorenzo only.

Mister Ed: The ghost of Barneys NY lives on @ this outpost of Saks Fifth Men's store Copley Place Boston.Basically a plug & play here by Saks into the recently defunct Barneys NY location. The physical aspect of Barneys holds forth as there has been no noticable change to the same tired environment .....no refresh was given --even a fresh coat of paint would have been nice. Barneys was showing its age and would have benefited with a spiffing up & this would have been a perfect time for Saks to do this....While I applaud the effort of Saks to give men our own shop it disappoints in many areas.Merchandise is a eclectic mix of 'Hip Hop street' and brands that appear to a mature crowd. Not an expansive selection in each venue is offered and the phrase of " not in stock but, I can get it for you" was heard from Sales Associates as I moved around the store.The one bright point in this location is the shoe department....not as large or impressive as the NYC flagship but a nice curated selection. Sales Associates here were in a eublient mood amongst themselves and were unattuned to the few serious shoppers about who were waiting to be assisted.Again, I appreciate Saks giving men their own outpost but no " WOW" factor here - but worth a brief detour as you & the Ms head to the Saks main store in the Prudential Plaza shopping mall and/or Legal Seafoods on second floor Copley Place.
