Niloo: Really rude staff! They were all busy running around or sorting out the drawers and don't even bother to look at the item when I asked a question about it. And two of them gave me wrong information. No one was helping me in the fitting room, and the manager doesn't do anything but saying she's sorry. When I complained about waiting for so long to get helped in the fitting room, being locked out of the room, the responsible staff told me that "the buzzers are broken, we are short on the staff, we can't put an associate on every corner of the store"!!!! Do not waste your time here, find another store.

But the clothes are cute and trendy. They can be a little pricey but there's sales & discounts all the time. The jeans fit like they're supposed to! I dont have to pull them up everytime I reach down. Everything is made high quality- the camis are long, the tops are flattering. I'm addicted to this store now. Oh- sales girls are soooo nice too.

Peaches: Brought a friend to purchase a larger woman's undergarment. This is the place that specializes in larger women sizes you will not find in other stores. they were having a great sale. She basically bought 2 items for the price of one. Customer service is exceptional, polite, professional, and very helpful. They have quality clothing for great prices.

Cheryl Lineman Lee: Quality clothing for plus size women. They typically have clearance items and usually some type of sale going on, making it more affordable. it's the only place I can find bras that last and give excellent support. My daughter is 6 ft tall and and wears an 11WW shoe. It's the only place we are able to find excellent quality clothes and shoes for her. There are fewer stores plus size clothing for women. And if they have it, oftentimes it's geared toward older women. we've been able to get her age appropriate clothing here, since she was in her later teenage years and now that she's in her early twenties. If you can't find an object in the store, they will order it and have it shipped to you. They have sales people who are very helpful and will assist you while you're shopping, if you so desire. I highly recommend this store.

Me Me: I didn't feel respected there. And would never go back again. The tanned African American girl( let's call Person A) is nice. But then a Caucasian female ( Person B) came (who is loud/angry pushy). I asked if they have some tights, she said not. The bad angry sales asked how do you like the leggings. I said the first one was alright and the second one is not comfortable. Then she raised her voice and said loudly: " Then I think we should get you out of this" 3 times in a super loud and rude voice. As I was going to the fitting room to get changed( Since the sales personB commended me to take the legging off) I was about to buy some other things and I stoped and went in the fitting room to take it off. The moment when I closed the curtain of the fitting room. Person laughed out loud. She was showing off how her speech made customer feel awkward to person A by speaking bad things about me. Then she lowered the voice because she probably realized that I can heard it. However, since the fitting room is next to their cashier desk. I heard everything. So I said I could hear everything while in the fitting room. After 1 minute, person A then raised the voice again, “ are you done”? (In a pushy and loud tone) I was still thinking whether I should buy the dress because the body part is nice and show the curves but the neck was too uncomfortable. The neck part was too tight. I have never met any sales in the Copley place who is so rude, pushy and disrespectful!!! While I was getting changed, the bad angry Caucasian female (Person B) was bad mouthing me to the other nice sales (person A) about me trying too long ( 6 mins - 8mins in total in the fitting room) and I could hear everything because the fitting room is next to the register desk. Then I walked to the nice one ( person A) and said I want to purchase some tights, but they don't have the color. I ended up didn't purchase anything instore. I will buy online instead. I was originally planing to buy tights. Since I am going to Europe in 2 weeks and European price is almost half of the price of American price. However, due to how rude and disrespectful the sale ( person B) I choose not to get anything from them. I definitely will never go to that store ( at Copley square 100 Huntington Ave) ever again! Horrible experience!!!!

Jenn: I visited this boutique in a group of three Asian twenty somethings, and felt very uncomfortable the entire time we were there. The owner and her friends were staring at us while my friend was in the fitting room trying items on (I looked back in her direction three times and every single time made eye contact with one of them staring at me), and when my friend left the fitting room, she accidentally turned the light off. Without hesitation, the owner snapped at her to leave the light on for the next customer. The whole time she didn’t offer to help us at all, and when we tried to place the items we didn’t want back on the rack, she immediately grabbed them from us. We said thank you to her for helping, and she didn’t respond. Checking out was a similar experience. Even though we bought an item, will never come back. Microaggressions are real and leave a horrible impression on customers. It’s not hard to do the bare minimum to be polite, and they missed the mark by a long shot.Edit: I want to be very clear— it is never, ever cute to be racist.

Delaney C: Ordered 2 bras 5/30/22 and picked up in store. Was told they don't make demi bras any more, almost exclusively balconette and full coverage. One bra was fine and the other didn't fit well so I asked to exchange that one for the same color in the other bra style. Was told no problem, it will be shipped to my house for free. Exchange was fine.Bra arrived and it was a different color. Find out that bra doesn't come in the color I asked for, so basically the sales associate just picked a different color and didn't tell me or ask if that was okay. Used Live Chat to figure out the issue and the person kept linking me to bras I had already told them I was not interested in, even after I told them to stop. They finally emailed me return postage and said they would issue a refund once the item was returned. I asked to speak with a manager and was told no one was available and I would be contacted "within 1 day."2 days later no one had called or emailed. I tried Live Chat again and the person ignored my questions, told me they escalated the issue and I would get a call within a couple business days.It's been 2 weeks and no one ever called. I've worn the other bra I bought 5/20 a couple times, it's just okay, fits fine but underwires squeak. I washed it on delicate for the first time today. I never dry my bras.It's falling apart. Threads everywhere, fraying, and the inner cups are wrinkled now and it looks awful when worn. CALLED customer support this time and they issued a refund and said they would waive the return fee (I'd hope so since this item is falling apart). Was told they escalated again and to "rest assured" someone would contact me about it. I'm not holding my breath, and super disappointed that the place I used to exclusively shop for bras now has awful customer service and item quality.Update, Lane Bryant replied to this review at one point (they have since deleted their response) and said they would reach out to me. No one did, even after also saying that multiple times when I talked to customer service online and on the phone. They'll just lie to you. It also took over a month for my refund to be processed.

But yesterday, I had the worst experience with their salesperson, Tammy. I was trying to process a few returns, and had a question on their return policy (which seemed new). Instead of trying to explain their policy to me, or even tell me “no”, which I would have respected, Tammy became very agitated and told me to “just calm down”! She then pushed me off to her manager (who was extremely helpful!). The funny thing is that I was completely calm and in a great mood!! LB, please fix your Human Resources issues!! There are lots of competent, respectful people looking for good jobs!! That was my last time visiting your Wayside Commons location. So disappointing.

So sad that this is the closest Lane Bryant to me which is over 20 minutes away and that’s the service you receive.
