REI: what do users think?
Adam Barney: Great store. Wonderful staff and products and being a coop makes it even more special. They also will validate parking 😎
V M: Really love REI in general. And I’m happy one is here in Fenway. The workers at this location are very helpful and friendly. I shop here maybe twice a month. My only critique is I wish they had more products in store. Given the in-store inventory, I find myself buying online a lot. That means I am guessing a size, which is not ideal.
Stephen Craft: Awesome store, especially the bike shop
Traveler: There are better urban REIs.2023: Parking now $10. Don't order here for pickup. From 2019:Online order pickup is frustrating as you have to pay for parking, even just to pick up an item. There is not short term parking whatsoever. Validated parking is $5 up to an hour, $8 up to 2 hours.Be warned, the garage clearance is quite low.
Marc Shafer: I have been looking for a specific pair of Burton Infinium Oven Gloves, and I had taken to calling Burton stores around America. The folks at the Boston store knew exactly what I wanted and knew they had one pair in stock. They took my order and shipped my gloves that day. Fabulous customer service...I am so appreciative.
Becky Lynch: I was looking for new boots and the staff was very friendly. They asked if I needed help and had good recommendations. Staff at register was nice too. Definitely take the T or walk. There is no parking.
Sofia Theodorou: Worse place ever do not even think to biy anything from them. They will try to sell you a membership and say they give you bonus card but they will miss to say it expires. They have zero customer service. I paid 90$ for shoes that would cost 50$ and did not even have money for this expense. I explained my concerns to the workers but she still managed to extract me 90$. Unethical pieces of animals.
Roosevelt Jefferson II: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love coming to this store.
Daniel Harlow: This was a great REI, and the people who work there do a great job, but the parking lot was closed for construction and the streets nearby are always full so it is now essentially impossible to park. This is a pity, as we now have to go to a different location.
James Fiala: Love REI
Laura Shanks: I am absolutely disgusted with the management and staff of this store. Several staff members recently petitioned to have a DISABLED MILITARY VETERAN FIRED from this store location because they were UNCOMFORTABLE with his DISABILITY. Rather than supervisors having a conversation with all staff to address the solution they took the easy way out and fired him. This location is currently under investigation by Disability Rights Massachusetts. Please boycott.
Jason Courtemanche: Great selection
Kapil Ashok Hariyani: Best outdoor store with outstanding 👏 customers care store in entire AMERICA CONTINENT
robyn b: Great store but you have to get the building to rid of the parking attendant outside.Had to quickly drop off daughter to get a sensor removed which was left on and he was scary abusive and upsetting.
Rian Dalton: Frequent customer to this REI, due to their consistently great and friendly service!
I-y H: I am really disappointed in this place. their bike shop staff installed my pedals without the m4 pedal pins. Not sure if this is due to lack of professionalism or they divided to keep my pins. really upsetting experience here.......
Brent Lowry: Still giving a five-star rating even though I could not find lightweight waterproof tarps.
Liv Burns: Got the best service today from the bike shop – I'd purchased a gravel bike over a month ago and was having trouble shifting gears due to some finicky cable tension. The guy who worked on my bike with me went above & beyond, and worked super fast to get me back on the road.
Paul G: This site seems smaller than a normal store, though still well stocked. Two stars though since this location is in a building with $10 validated parking. REI could've done better. If you don't mind the parking or can walk there, it's not bad.
Austin Coffin: Great outdoor store in downtown Boston. Awesome selection of hiking, biking, and boating supplies and a huge selection of clothing. Parking is $10 with validation.
Jesse Kennedy: Staff is always so friendly and helpful.

REI: what do users think?
I H: long wait for a bike tune up and staff was not very interested in making the process easy or efficient- someone told someone else to have me wait on the side and was left waiting for 35 minutes
Gabriella Zoia: DO NOT GET YOUR SKIS TUNED HERE. Did a horrible job and left deep gashes after hand scraping them. Take your business elsewhere. When I came back to report it I was told that I was essentially making it up and that the other shop that checked them out was just trying to sell us a new pair of skis. We were given 100 gift card at REI… small consolation when they’ve ruined a 1200 pair of skis. I’ve never been treated so poorly by retail staff.
Kira Clingen: This place needs more staff and better training, especially in their bike department. Came in with a flat tire - they replaced it, it went flat the next day. Went back, they replaced it again, it went flat. Took it to another bike shop - there was a massive shard of glass in the rim that they didn’t find either time. Out $30 and multiple hours.
Elisabeth Graham: The staff at REI Cambridge is so helpful and kind. I ordered the wrong shoes and they assisted with an easy exchange, communicating what they had in stock and what they didn’t. I’m so grateful to have this neighborhood store close by.
Steven Zelek: Service is good, but please be aware that this store mostly stocks: clothing, bike gear, climbing gear, and a small selection of accessories. It's a small store - so just have the right expectation.
Samantha Kanach: Love this REI! The people who work are so wonderful. I had to bring my bike in for maintenance and Nicoletta was so attentive and friendly and got my bike in tip top shape in no time. This REI is right next to some great local coffee shops and breweries so you really can’t go wrong here
Nancy Ramsdell: Always top quality and helpful personnel.
ambassador smudge: nice place to get some gear.Since 1938, we have been your local outdoor co-op, working to help you experience the transformational power of nature. We bring you top-quality gear and apparel, expert advice, rental equipment, inspiring stories of life outside and outdoor experiences to enjoy alone or share with your friends and family. And because we have no shareholders, with every purchase you make with REI, you are choosing to steward the outdoors, support sustainable business and help the fight for life outside.
Sam Berry: Had a great experience buying climbing shoes and a harness here. Not a huge location so might not have the selection of some larger stores but everyone was super friendly and it had what I was looking for
Lisa: Small store but very pretty inside, like a boutique. But they signed me up for a membership without asking! They were not super knowledgeable.
Emily Heckel: This is a (beautifully designed) T-shirt and water bottle store. I wouldn't really call it an REI. Came in looking for liner gloves and trekking pole baskets and they don't stock either. In fact, they barely stock any gear at all, and this is on purpose. They do have a few cycling items I think, and a comically tiny climbing section that I have to assume is only there for aesthetic purposes. The target demographic seems to exclusively be cyclists and people who wear overpriced Patagonia to brunch. The staff were super nice and they were knowledgeable about the items I was looking for (just didn't have them). They seemed quite used to responding to customers' confusion about the store. I think they should rename the store, or make it more clear online that this isn't a true REI as most of us know it. Overall, it felt a bit like being in a gallery - they display (limited) gear in an attractive way, but they intentionally don't stock it. Seems very focused on the aesthetic over the practical, which clashes with the brand concept. I can't think of a reason why someone would go to this store on purpose. I ended up driving to Reading and finding everything I needed, and I guess I'll be doing that moving forward. It's unfortunate, I live in Cambridge and I would shop here all the time if it was a real store and not a display window.
Mike Alexandersen: Google shows this as "camping store", but when i went in there, they said "this location doesn't have a camping department; were actually the smallest store in the coop." Sigh, pointless.
Amit Bergman: Nice and knowledgeable employees
Jeffrey Alperovich: This is not your typical REI! It’s a solid REI shop and had some great sale items, but the selection of everything is limited just due to the nature of the store size/location. Still recommend REI to all just set expectations accordingly! Staff were friendly and helpful as always
Christian Torres: Excelente servicio. La atención fue bastante buena. La chica que me atendió, me dio una buena asesoría. Lo recomiendo mucho.
Carrie Cole: Fantastic store! Beautiful, big, nice layout, very friendly and helpful staff. That area is really changing and that's a great addition.
Edson Lacerda (Ed): Customer service at this store in Cambridge MA,is TERRIBLE, I waited forever for someone, figured out on my own, went fitting 2 climbing helmets, then finally a guy came asking “did you take the tag out” harshly almost accusing me of doing it so, and just left. So did I 😞Very first time I’ve been treated so bad at REI store, this is the first and last time I come to this one!Meanwhile Framingham, which is my actual main store is AWESOME,It’s totally the opposite, doesn’t even look like it’s the same chain ☹️
Diot Sébastien: The store was good and the staff was helpful. However this store does not stock most of REI's merchandise and it's painfull to search on the website if they have my size for each shoes.I wanted to buy a very common pair of climbing shoes but I have to try differents size, they don't have any stock in 150 miles around ... My only way to go through is to order each shoes that I want to try : 199$ each ! (which is already very expansive).Big no for me.
Petal Niles: Had trouble with a gift card and staff was incredibly kind and patient in finding a solution! They also offered good advice on winter coats and had a small but nice selection of items on the floor
Swabarna Mukherjee: Customer Service. Love them. Went there to exchange an Arcteryx Shell which I bought last year but it was one size bigger than I wanted and have been thinking of getting one size smaller.Procrastinating for months, yeah I know, I finally made the trip only to find out it was just 3 days that 1 year passed. Damn I was sad however the manager honored it. They are excellent. Walked me through the steps and did whatever neededand they helped me put in an order. The site is new and parking is tough however the area is undergoing construction. Hoping to seethe area complete with all the construction done. Newer location nearer to my place and well they have a lifelong customer thanks to their excellent service.
Nicholas Manning: Does NOT stock camping gear, which REI is known for.

DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
Matthew Capobianco: Terrible customer experience. Little to no help with little experience. In order to sell a 200 shoe you need to have someone that can field the most basic questions which they lack completely.
Molly Pratt: Service in the shoe section was very poor. If there is no way for customers to grab sizes then there should be more than one person to help.
T R: This location is my favorite it’s always organized and has lots in stock. Staff is always kind and helpful. My family and I enjoy this store.
Sonya Owens: Awful customer service.....on the phone for 20mins because they said it's that busy. Get to store and there are lots of workers aimlessly walking around passing the buck they will find someone. Awful just Awful and it's not even crowded.
Eazy: Place is an absolute dump
Jason c: store Always tries to close earlier about 8:48pm ish then whats told on google and website. Just was too pleasant when you drive 1hr to get here. Also the manager's there are very unprofessional!! Be aware, I would think cooperate should look into who they hire as head manager's. Trying to give my honest opinion as I don't often write reviews ! Thanks and will never recommend this location!
Samir Sell: Melhor loja de esportes.
John G: So this guy Nolan was so so helpful! He actually went to the back inventory to find me exactly what I was looking for. Wow! This place I awesome they always have what I need and people like Nolan really make things super easy
Alfred Anzalone: , store is closed at 8:40PM. Unfortunately can’t give a good store rating if I can’t shop at the store when they’re supposed to be open.
Waldo Emerson: The managers were rude and the store was a mess. I couldn’t get one person to help me
Ryan Couture: Lied about hours made me spend a 50$ on uber. Dotn trust these people!
Miranda Pearce: I had low expectations when I first went there because it seems like a big chain, but the staff were knowledgeable and helpful and I was totally won over. They were sort of under staffed, but that is common right now.
Walter Stred: Very well stocked store, and the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Michael Bessler: Great people make this store so good
Barry Lee: Awesome selection and very organized.Prices are not always the lowest but convenience is probably the reason for that.
Mark J: Pretty good sporting goods retailer. Wish they put prices directly on the merchandise. There is often confusion because items can be stocked in the wrong shelf location where prices are displayed. That's my only complaint.Staff is courteous and helpful.
MA Rahman: it’s a lot of pretty inner things that seem to see it is Very beautiful
Rich Marino (Rich): Nice selection of saltwater and freshwater fishing tackle & accessories. Be prepared to spend some time here compared to Walmart. Definitely has some premium offerings versus cheap grade only. By the time you shop online and pay for the shipping you might as well just go in-store. Convenience and in-store see-it-in-person shopping at old site of the Meadow Glen Mall in Medford. Bought some nice Blue Label Seaguar 30 lb fluorocarbon leader. Happy.
Tom Demeo: Had to return sneakers very quick and efficiently
saheli das: Do not waste your time going here. They don’t have anything you’d be interested in and the store is really understaffed. It felt like they were doing me a big favour when I asked them for literally anything.
Morgan Bertram: Staff was helpful stock was limited and to much space was used on strictly men's equipment

Marathon Sports: what do users think?
Jesse Johnson: I ordered Hoka shoes to deliver to my home. After more than a week , still no shoes.
Lindsey G: Unlike the store in Boston, this one does not have any Boston marathon related gears
Alberto Passetti: Storico negozio di articoli sportivi di Boston. Personale molto cortese.
Jerry Mullins: Great selection of running shoes and apparel.
Felix Gonzalez: Tienda obligada en Boston, ahí he comprado mis zapatillas, súper recomendable !!!
Steve Hernandez: Lots of cool stuff here!
Marcel Nienhuis: Pretty much the ultimate running store given that it’s at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. On top of that they have a great selection of gear and an expert staff.
Bart Bial: Super !
Random Stuff: Helpful people very quick process
Maisie Miller: I get all my shoes here! One of the most impressive things about Marathon Sports is their commitment to helping customers find the right products to meet their individual needs. The staff is knowledgeable and well-trained, and they are always available to answer questions and offer advice. They truly take time with their customers, especially if you have time to spare for their exceptional service. In addition to their excellent customer service, Marathon Sports also offers a wide range of products that are both functional and stylish. Whether you are a serious athlete or just looking to get in shape, you are sure to find something that meets your needs.Overall, I highly recommend Marathon Sports to anyone who is looking for high-quality athletic gear and apparel. Their commitment to customer service, combined with their extensive product line, makes them one of the best retailers in the industry.
AALIS: Variety of selections in term of running gear. Mostly shoes, but it also provide shirts, acceries, other stuff, running related.Staffs are excellent, very helpful. They act as a consultant to help us find the best decission suits our running need in the store. They have those machine that helps to determined your foot type so it can give recomendation of best shoes type suits you the best.
Alex Bernstein: what can I say, when you need new athletic shoes there’s no one that comes close. All the staff were friendly and professional, Christina explained what the measurements from their machines translated to and had me in and out with a perfect fit in no time at all.
Jason Zhu: Really great customer service. Maggie was super patient, helped me try on like 8 pairs of shoes, and helped me find a really great fit! Would recommend!
Charlotte Laane: DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, they have no knowledge on shoes for your goal, injuries and how to perform feet analysis. Buy the shoes you researched and try the shoes for 30 days, their customer service regarding changing shoes within 30 days is a GEM and makes up for the wrong advice.Elaboration;Have been helped by two people from the staff. They are unable to give you good advice. They gave me an unexperienced runner, training for a marathon, a zero drop shoe! That is the last thing you would give to an unexperienced runner especially when they are training for a marathon. Moreover, the analysis of my feet was off. I've had insoles for flat feet as long as I can remember and the first neutral shoe they advised me gave me posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and Achilles issues. The second time I came in they stuck with the advice for the shoe I currently owned with no heel-to-toe drop and no correction, even after I told them the issues I got with these shoes. Fortunately, I didn't listen to them, got shoes with extra heel-toe drop and correction with extra! corrective insoles which resolved my injuries.
Brenda Guan: I had a great experience here. I got my feet scanned here, and based off those scans I was given several recommendations. They made it easy for me to find a pair of great running shoes and everyday shoes that fit my specific needs and preferences. This is one of those places where you feel comfortable buying whatever they say you need because they obviously know what they're doing.
Gary L. Tucker Jr.: Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable!
Ashley M.: Updated Post:Wow, I take it back - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this store! After writing my original review, the manager Chris followed up with me and two days later I had new shoes. He reassured me that employees are continuing to learn and grow, and that situations like I encountered should not occur regularly in the future. It was extremely busy when I returned to replace my shoes, which gave me time to observe that the employees working there were genuinely helping customers…and everyone was leaving with a smile (including me). Talk about great customer service! As a novice runner, I am confident I was provided the perfect shoes to tackle my training and even given some advice along the way. Thanks for helping me prepare for my first marathon!Original Post:I do not recommend. I visited three years ago and had an amazing experience - but went back in October looking for new shoes as I am training for the Marathon again. The employee who assisted me was inattentive and clearly more interested in getting credit for purchases than helping me. At one point she blatantly left to help another customer while I was in the middle of talking to her!The only reason I didn’t leave was because I was in dire need of shoes - but now that I’m four months into training, my feet have been uncomfortable more than in the past and I have developed a terrible blister on my toe, which is a clear indication of poor fitting shoes. I believe some employees can be helpful, but they should do a better job screening in their hiring process especially when tailoring to clients running major distances. It should not be “luck of the draw” in who is helping you that day.
Anthony Cape: Great store, lots of choice and knowledgeable staff.
K M: Great Purchase, purchased a pair of Bondi 8 thanks to the great help from the attentive floor employees. Go one more with Marathon Sports!
kate lombardo: Best running shoe store ever. Chris was wonderful— he took a lot of time to evaluate our feet, explain the types of shoes that were well-suited for us (and what weren’t). Will never go anywhere else for sneakers!

DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
Stanley Celestin: Bad costumer service
Stephen Hirschman: I sat in the car for a half hour waiting for my curbside order. I ended up going in to get it instead. They didn't seem overly busy either. I got my Jordans though so I can't complain
Christine Campbell: The wait to try on shoes was about 30 min. An associate not at shoes told me how to order the ones I wanted for pickup tomorrow. I placed my order, got my confirmation, bank took money out.I got a message an hour later that my order was canceled because the item wasn't in stock.
Chris Nackley: Be careful what you are buying. I got my pre workout here and had no clue it was expired. My mistake for going here to get it, but all the gnc and vitamin shops closed by me. Closest store, and they would not let me exchange the expired pre workout for a different one. 50$ down the drain. Scummy service provided when I called too. Tough look for the place.
William Gurney: Over priced, not enough cashier's. More staff standing around then at the cash registers so literally I was in line for 32 minutes on Friday midday and still had several people ahead of me so they lost my business because I couldn't wait any longer and not once did you hear over the intercom, assistance to the front so honestly I couldn't believe the management didn't see the need to make that call. I saw several people leave before me and I truly said to myself wow they have no patience was I throwing rocks at a glass house. Great company I always thought 💭 but I was in there three weeks prior and said to myself I'll come back when the Christmas sale starts but it was like they raised there prices and then put it on sale for 10%,25% off or buy one get one50% off and like I said it was basically the same price as the last time I was there. Sorry 🙏 but that's just what it was.
Cristina Padilla: Maria and the crew at the registers as well as customer service were wonderful! Patient and skilled with my questions and helpful with a purchase I was making for my niece. Thank you!
Xiaomi XIAOMI: Excelentes productos como siempre
Bryan Hollis: Waited on hold for 20 minutes and then got hung up on trying to see if they had cleats my size. Got transferred to the operator 3 times. The shoe department answered once but I was the wrong customer so they put me on hold just to get the operator. Spoke to two different managers. One told me that they couldn’t just see if they had size 13 and that he needed a brand. So I told him to check Under armour, Nike or Mizuno. Left on hold a few more minutes so I went online to see if they had it at this store which is what I should have done in the first place. I just wanted to see if they had any before I made the 24 minute trip over there but I didn’t know it would take 20 minutes to get no information at all. Maybe the shoe department was really busy that day. The only thing a store has is customer service over buying on Amazon.
Jerry Antoine: Nice place
Sarah Fortino: Terrible service we ended up at play it again sports where the service and selection were great!
HEM Property: We love DSG! Huge range of Yeti products and our favourite brands at competitive prices! keep up the good work~!
Neeney B: I did a curbside return and the experience was fast and efficient. The associate who answer the phone was very knowledgeable. I'm a first time shopper and this will not be my last time
Imani: I have called this store countless times in need of an item and I get no answer. I finally get some guy on the phone and he talks like the rode runner as if I am interupting his day. He proceeds to transfer me and someone kept picking up the phone and placing it back on hold. I guess that is what they do until you hang up since they don't care to help their potential customer with a potential sale. What are you all really doing? Exactly, NOTHING!!! This is HORRIBLE!!! No worries, I will not waste my time calling back! I am sure there are other professional locations!
Olivia's Dadd: Def the go to place for sports equipment
Thommy Tracy: Expensive
David C: I stopped going to this store 5 years ago because of the pathetic customer service. Thought I would give I another try today because I needed winter running gear. When I asked an employee to open a fitting room she said "we are only using one fitting room today". There was a line waiting, I said why not open the other one 20 feet away? She said because we are only using one today. Meanwhile other employees were standing around looking at their phones who could have monitoring the fitting room. I walked out. Never again.
Artem Sholom: Worst place to look for footwear. Boxes with shoes are not presented in the shop, so to check for available sizes or to try anything buyer has to look for personel (two guys for a dozen of customers) and wait, wait, wait...
KIM HOY: 2 fitting rooms but employee could access only one? Issue with the door that needs to be resolved or just laziness? Waited 15 min to try 2 pants on.
Tova Upshaw: DONT SHOP HERE!!! Unorganized, the associates wont even acknowledge you to help you and they dont honor the listed prices
Rafaela Leone: Uma loja com esse nome, deveriam ter funcionários mais atenciosos. Funcionários, parece que estão mortos de sem vontade de trabalhar.
John Emmott: Terrible selection on sports clothing

Nike by Chestnut Hill: what do users think?
Andrew Huang: Location:Note that the address of the store on Google Maps is correct, but the location of where it is on the map is incorrect. It is right between Bianca and Warby Parker. Google Maps shows it to the east of both stores and a few other stores instead as of May 6, 2023 so I have submitted a correction. Additionally, there is both a front and back entrance, so you can go in from the Route 9 side or from the rear parking lot.Selection:This is a fairly small store compared to the one in Watertown or the one on Newbury Street but it still had a decent selection of items. You may not find exactly what you're looking for here, but this store carries the latest generation and only the latest if that's what you're seeking.Staff:Rosie helped me trying to find the perfect pair of running shorts. She didn't ask what size I was but guessed the correct size when she brought out shorts for me to try so she knew how to judge based on just looking. This place has a very very large handicap-accessible fitting room. The shorts available weren't quite what I was looking for because I wanted something that had attributes of both the running and the training shorts she found for me. She explained they get the latest next-generation clothes and then pass on their styles to other stores like Watertown once the next iteration is released, so she looked up the previous generation and saw it may have exactly what I wanted from the description. She let me know they had it in stock in the next closest Nike store and gave me the product code to find it because she knew I wanted to try clothes in person first rather than purchasing online. She even made sure I should make sure to not pay more than the sale price she saw listed. What made Rosie a cut above the rest were her additional recommendations after figuring out my interests based on the clothes I was looking for. She recommended a locally owned store (not Nike) in case I still did not find what I wanted. Aware of my interest in running, she also let me know about a running group they have and explained the schedule and the routes to me as well.
Brandon Williams: I love the team there!
George Salis: They only have adult clothing which was very disappointing
Mar Spragge: Only three stars because the associate who helped me signed me up for their membership emails after I left the store, despite me asking her not to. She used a fake name for me too, which is just weird.
selim gurel: Helpful staff!
Loukang Hexican: The worker there resell all the new release … they don’t put it on shelf . Have it in the back .wasted my time .totally understand they get paid minimum wages ..rude and they think they better than u joke
Justin Griffin: Terrible service
Justin MacCormack: Super Nice place with a good staff. Martin helped me a lot and was very cooperative. Thank you!
Kenn Soendergaard (RealLifeDad): New Nike store, but not the regular run of the mill Nike items. These are slightly different and they do have the newest drops.
Brandon Sanchez: Great place to shop great clothes have lots inventory up to date
M.B.K: Good location, more than enough options to choose from. I didnt see any sale department
Dan Quiles: Great customer service by Miguel.
Timothy Bucciarelli: Great staff. Just about what you'd expect for the product and vibe.
Yisrael Greene: I absolutely love this Nike store they have TONS of employees to help you out with what ever you need. They have tons of cool shirts and the best shoes ever (I got my Lebron 19’s there) Most of their clothing is in mens sizes but they still have a good selection of little kids shirts. Also if you see something that you like but it’s not in your size then just ask an employee and they will get you the size that fits you from the back of the store. Quick summary AMAZING Nike store.
Maddie: was in here recently, most employees were rude, not very enthusiastic and got annoyed when i was asking what sizes they had available in different shoes. also was trying to rush me to checkout when i was still looking at other shoes. won’t come to this location again. another thing, wouldn’t let me use my member pass in store discount. smh
pabloomify: The same for all nike’s stores
Abhiram Tanna: The store associates really are attentive to customer needs, and I’m glad that I got my favorite Metcon7 which I couldn’t find at a few other stores. The manager too is really friendly and allowed me to use my previous coupon while making my purchase!
Amanda W: The store is very clean and bright, but it unfortunately doesn't carry soccer cleats (hence 4 stars). However, the staff were extremely kind and helpful with measuring my child's foot so I can order online and helped with calling other locations to check their stock/inventory. Worth a visit for other items.
Roland Harrison: Nice staff...not enough choices or sizes
James Hashem: Hello I originally purchased on the website and my shipment came fast enough. So I tried the shoe on very narrow NIKE.....IT'SVERY NARROW SIZED.....IN MANY STYLES.Chestnut Hill was ALL ABOUT MONEY I canSee understand religestly Area and all theStock was top , in a lot of ways you can receive the most newest styles out.Fast Return on a cell phone next day the Funds was in my account....simple to get to and exiting from.
Anthony Rome: Staff very pleasant and friendly

REI: what do users think?
J Huot: There was staff offering assistance for us in almost every corner of the store. The staff were all very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable in each and every department. Membership is a one-time fee and well worth, it if you are big into the outdoors. They offer top brands, in addition to their own High quality brand. Well worth a visit for the Outdoor enthusiast.
James Huang: The bike shop did a great job packing up my bike for shipping across the country. And at $80, which includes the box, I think this is a great deal.Minus a star because they told me 9 days but after 10, I called and they promised the next day by noon. So I call back on day 11 at noon and whoever answered told me if I didn't get an email, then the bike's not ready......I asked her to please just double check for me, when she came back on the phone she curtly said "your bike's ready" and then hung up.
Robson De Menezes: Nice place!!!
Mike Hill: REI, excellent store for outdoor recreation products, ski (xc, downhill) snowboard, bike, climbing, snowshoes, SUP's, sliding, including clothing, footwear, and all accessories for sports, camping, as well as books, maps, etc. They rent equipment, sponsor outdoor events with experienced staff/guides, and nature lover events, such as birding- they sell guides for bird/animal identification too. If this is your bag, join and get an annual dividend payed in March each year. Today, I stopped by, because I was close-by to check for bargains, since I had a ~$50 dividend. I picked up a few winter clearance items, since they are getting ready for spring, 3/7/2023-JMHill.
Nicholas Mitch: Nice store, but really terrible ski shop. Their work is shoddy (I had to get their repair redone two weeks later) and turnaround time extremely long. I won't trust my skis with them again.
Bre Dragon: Excellent customer service
Atlas Gataki: Huge store. It has the largest selection of outdoor gear that I know of anywhere near me. It is valuable to be able to try on anything and check out gear. I have been planning a hike up the street from here to see Fast X in imax. Hopefully I'll be ready for any weather that could be thrown at me, the employees made sure I had all the bells and whistles. Would recommend for anyone that is frequently outside and adventurous like myself.
Mike: Best store around for outdoor clothing and equipment. Great selection and prices! 01/25/23 just picked up some hiking pants and hiking boots. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great place.
Jake Couch: Looks great, good selection; the more time you spend there, the worse it is. Service is terrible, ski shop is extremely bad, service technicians behind the desk have almost no clue what they’re doing.
Sarah Antos: I went into tune my skis and was surprised at how condescending the staff was. After waiting a in a long line, I presented my skis to a guy. My skis are old so the guy tried to convince me to buy new ones by basically insulting my skis and recommending i throw them away. REI has great products, but the staff needs to get over themselves.
Chris Wolforth: I shop at this location a number of times a year and the service is always top notch!
Jackie Feldman: Great customer service and helpful employees. They help you to try on weighted backpacks so you can see what it feels like. Thanks to Ryan for his help!
Russell Holden: No junk. Knowledgeable staff.
Maya Jade: Had an amazing shopping experience. It was fairly busy in store as it was the weekend before Christmas, but nevertheless I had an incredible experience being helped by floor staff, fitting room employees, and especially the cashier Jonah. Everyone was very attentive and supportive, but Jonah went above and beyond to help me with a return and purchase. He was patient, sociable, kind, and knowledgeable. Incredible customer service all around. If you're looking for an REI/ purchasing any kind of athletic/ outdoor gear/ service, 10/10 recommend this location.
Linus: Really nice staff very helpful and good environment amazing for finding winter clothes, shoes, almost any outdoor activity they have clothes and items for it
Greg Treantos: Always a pleasure to shop at REI. Great products and super helpful staff
Willie F Chin: Great outdoors stuff such as equipment, e-bikes and advice. Premium brands so it’s not cheap. You get what you pay for.
Brent Lowry: Awesome selection of camping hammocks, which is my absolute favorite. It was my first time there but I was very impressed with the selection of equipment and will definitely be returning for future hiking and camping needs.FYI; the Adidas raincoat that I bought off the discount rack is holding up very nicely today in the steady rain.
Christopher Maniates: Had an older gentlemen tell me a bike that was literally slamming into my groin was the perfect size and what I need to get used to, and when I sat on a bike that had a healthy 2 inches of clearance between me and the top tube (which is appropriate) he said it was too big…? I’ve been on two wheels for a while so I knew he was confused, but this is just wildly bad. Lots of cute branded water bottles and stuff though.
John B: I’m brand new to hiking and had to go REI three days in a row to get my shopping done and all three days the service was great, got a lot of great tips on gear and everyone was genuinely happy to help, 5 stars
AC AUTO: Very helpful staff.

DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
Anthony Pollard: Store is awful. The manager is god awful. She is extremely rude to her employees in front of customers. One of the kids kept calling for her as she went outside for a cigarette. When they called her up to the register to help me fix a pricing issue. All I could smell was cigarette on her. I will definitely not be coming back here. I feel bad for the kids working here
Scott J Bishop: Super helpful upper level cashier and they answer the phone when you call.
John Pepernik: Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, and with a great attitude. Nice to shop there.
Alex B Koppelman: Great staff helpful and patient
Cam Bradley: My online order was complete in only 10 minutes (estimated to be an hour). When I arrived, a team member greeted me and got my order ASAP. Great service!
DL Hirst: I have always found the Dick’s Sporting Goods “stand-alone” stores to be better shopping experiences. I’m not 100% understanding why, but this regional mall store confirms my thinking.Possibly the stand-alones are larger? They seem to have more inventory. Today, I was only there to get some socks, so I didn’t need a ton of selections. Unfortunately, Dick’s is so deep in bed w the swoosh, that selection is even worse. I got some socks, but not exactly what I was looking for.
Franklin Eduardo Mejia Frias: Heads up - came on a Sunday and found all doors closed an hour after “opening” (opens 10, came 11). If you come on Sunday you have to use the outside entrance, mall entrances don’t open until noon! Some signaling would be appreciated.
alfred duroyon: Sunila was knowledgeable and helpful.
Bobby Conlon: Great parking, clean facilities, helpful staff and plenty of stock!!!
Cesar Ziegler: That place is all in one. All you are looking for sports, fishing, gym, cycling, swimming, everything in just one place. Highly recommend it.
Janice Cooper.: Some good deals not a whole lot on Black Friday lost my credit card it was used right after I left the store for over $200 which means the employees did not ask for an ID when they swiped it as a credit..good job j.c
Bill Grant: Mens boots no selection, nothing, zero
joao da silva martins: Excelente pra compras
Theresa Deleo: Found everything I needed
John: Had just what I was looking for
T B: Disappointing service, knowledge of inventory and selections.....
Chris B.: I was very pleased with going to the store. It is a very big and beautiful store with many large selections of various items. I was looking for a metal detector and an employee with grey hair and glasses had helped me find what I was looking for. He was very nice and gave very helpful advice. The people at the cashier were very nice. I'm not sure if I'll ever come back here, but it was very nice!
Steven Laliberte: No mac Jones shirts
Alan Rupa: There was not much for stock but what I was able to purchase was in stock. Good bargain prices
Delyan Chakarov: The fishing stuff that is on promotion is scam. They are offering one thing and charging completely different
Chris Baker: Selection of golf bags was poor.

REI: what do users think?
Bill D.: Always a great experience......
Guy Incognito: Had an exchange for an item that I purchased online/outlet site. The size was too small. Rishi took care of me perfectly. Returned item and re-purchased it for me. Will have it shipped directly to me. Saved me printing a label and have to go through the hassle of sending it back.
Steve Brown: I've been to the Hingham location a handful of times and they've always been helpful and had what I needed. Recently though, I brought my girlfriend in to buy a new bike and the bike shop employees really shone. They were very helpful and went the extra mile for us =) I wish I got their name(s), but the experience left a very good impression in both my and my gf's memory.
Jazmin Trejo Oliver: Knowledgeable, kind, and helpful staff.
Cindy Morrison: I was sneaker shopping last week for something supportive and comfortable. The salesman recommended Hokas. I absolutely love them! Best sneakers I have ever had! Great for airport running! Thank you for your help!
Ahmad Mirza: Super friendly staff
Alyssa Lodge: it’s crazy to me how an outdoor store doesn’t allow dogs. what!!!
Stephen Murray: Go there and look around..doing just that is a great adventure.... You'll find high quality stuff that want everywhere!! Just go there!!
Lindsay Hildebrant: Fabulous service and great location! It is on the smaller side, so inventory is somewhat limited, but staff are willing to help you order anything they don’t have at the time.
Callie Tominsky: I have shopped here multiple times. Great staff, great membership deals, and I look forward to my next visit!
Denise Santoro: Membership is worth it.I had no idea how good it was. Hingham store was awesome with an exchange, very easy customer service.Keep it up!!
James Cowing: Went in to pick up something quick. Didn't see my size on the shelf and staff went in the back and brought our my size. Very grateful. It's unfortunate that REI doesn't offer a 10-15 percent discount for military veterans like other retail outlets.
William J. Conner, III: Exceptional customer service (but not inexpensive).
Richard Marshall: Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great products!
Florencia Halperin: The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful here! I know we would not get the same quality and deals if we shopped online, and I would have bought the wrong things without the expert guidance of the staff. Thank you!!
Adam Alper: This store caters to the outdoorsy type, not really sports like baseball/softball, tennis, etc. It revolves around camping, hiking, kayaking, biking, running, etc. If you fall into that category, it's a very good place to go. One thing that stands out to me relative to the modern retail world is the staff. They are friendly and will approach you, but they will not invade your space or hover...ready and happy to help, but never pushy. Not only that, they have excellent product knowledge, which is a quality that is becoming more and more rare.
Nick Rufo: It's a great store for outdoor people
Matthew Cahill: I was disappointed with the Hingham REI and there staff today when they took bikes away from two toddlers in their store. Clearly the staff at the Hingham location do not have much experience with customers that have children or customers shopping with children. They made there point and have lost my business for life. You should be ashamed of your selfs.
Ernie Meads: Staff is always helpful here.
Craig Rating: Great service
