FIRST FLOOR: Men & Women sneakers. SECOND FLOOR: womens heels, boots & Clarence section. If the escalator going down to first floor isn’t working. There is an elevator & stairs to lead you back down. I ordered a pair of boots online for pickup at this location for the first time and wanted to ask a few questions regarding the pickup. I made three different phone calls. The first one was put on hold forever (10 mins+) and never heard back. The next two calls got picked up and hung up immediately without saying anything. This is super rude. I totally understand that they are busy. They can just leave ignore the calls in the first place. So, I didn't have to wait for them.Anyhow, due to its prime location, I will probably shop here again.

christian velasquez: I was traveling to Chicago for business when I forgot a pair of shoes and some dress shirts. Went in Johnston & Murphy in terminal b and was treated with the absolute best customer service ever. The 2 ladies took care of me, helping me find what I needed for this trip. Just getting some great vibes from them. Left the store with new shoes, couple shirts and added bonus on some great belts they had. Truly recommend checking this store out. Definitely going there anytime I forget something .

scott rennicks: I’m happy with my purchase of on cloud shoes. They would not help me after I showed them a defect in the shoe. I wore them 5 blocks and they said they could not do anything. But if you call on cloud they try to take care of you. I did not want a refund just an exchange. This store will probably not last long with this poor level of customer service. I went in specifically to support small businesses but it’s back to online shopping for me.

I've done some research on the brand and I was very interested. I tried a couple of sizes. They have a nice selection in the store.I purchased a pair and when I got home I wore them around the house again. They were just a little too snug after all.I called them and spoke with a nice lady at Trend. I asked to exchange for one size up and they said no problem. I sent in my boots and copy of my receipt. They promptly sent the requested size and I'm happy! Yes it cost me a little shipping but that's on me.Good customer service, good communication and tracking number. Nicely done.I love the boots.

I live out of state so the only way I’d be able to get an answer is drive 3.5 hours. Love the boots but I would not purchase from this store as they lack customer service support.

Arkadiy Kuvaev (BaKKo): Made an appointment 4 weeks ahead, provided my insurance information and filled a bunch of paperwork. 1 (one!) day before the appointment I get a text to tell me that my insurance is not supported, even though the website says they accept most insurance plans, and even mention Aetna by name. Most places verify your insurance the moment you make the appointment, and not 24 hours before visit.

I was visiting from Chicago and purchased a pair of On running shoes and was super excited to try them out since everyone I know says they are super comfortable. I wore them once and got huge blisters on my heels but didn't want to give up on the shoes so I wore them a few weeks later with different socks and it was even more painful. The store doesn't offer refunds so I called and explained my situation, expressed disappointment with the shoes and even offered to pay for the shipping back to them. Absolutely no leniency on the policy and no other suggestions to make a customer happy. I've worked in retail almost 20 years and would never work with a client like this.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff who are more interested in finding the right match, fit, or look for you than they are in padding out the bill, which is a rarity in this kind of store. The building is currently under construction (Winter 2019), but they are very much open.

If you're going to shop there, proceed with caution, and read very (VERY) carefully their small print - don't expect the common courtesy of typical stores.

Every one I had spoken to either hung up on me or never transferred the call. Once I finally got a hold of someone, they seemed reluctant to even check and see if the item i wanted was in stock. After telling me what was in stock, they abruptly said ‘bye bye’ and hung up with out any thing else being said.

Don’t know but I think this store is very racist because i kept getting looks up and down and judged because i was struggling with my english pronunciation. Very disappointed. Won’t ever be coming in again

The associate claimed it would take 3-5 days to recieve and even 6 days later, I heard nothing from thr store regard my order. Too much complications to chase cat tails, manager to manager that we have called 3 time and no one resposible for my order, even the lady on fragrance section who sold it to me shave it off. This is very bad and disappointing plus surprising situation, but Saks continue to refuse to provide ANY solution, not a refund, nothing. They just kept telling me they are authorized retailer regardless my email from YSL saying they were not able to authenticate that. Makes me question the quality of all other items they sell.
Liz: Awful experience with their customer service at 1st floor. I received a wrong item from them so went there in person to get refund. I let them know that the item I ordered was different and is now out of stock- the staff scoffed at me saying it looks “almost” the same.Well clearly it was different belt (w/different code number) from what I ordered which I explained. He almost mockingly smiled which I found very rude.
Jasmin Liu: Very judgmental customer service representatives - I was clearly looking for assistance and probably made eye contact with 5+ associates but no one offered help. I then tried to to make a return and they said that I would’ve had to wait more than an hour because their “phone lines were busy” and recommended I ship back my item myself. How hard could it be for them to help me return something, especially when I was already at the store ??

Chantelle Mayrand: I had the best experience at the Nordstrom in Braintree. It is rare to find a retail store, that has old school customer service values. From the store operator to the customer service manager, I was immediately impressed. The apparel manager Kim Pabon was outstanding. She went above and beyond to help me with purchasing a designer dress, they didn't have in the store. Even with multiple customers asking for help at the same time she was kind and patient with everyone. If you are looking for that special dress for an occasion, or just want to freshen up your wardrobe, she is the person to help you look and feel your best. Bravo to Braintree Nordstrom!

Jessica: Absolutely disgusted by the team working fragrances today. One employee lied to me saying they did not carry Delina and I could only buy it online. 1CUP Plays: Store had someone following me and my friend around. Made us very uncomfortable, we went up and down the escalator and the person was right behind us. Would not shop here. Customers are scared to shop. Having someone stare at you while you shop is truly terrifying. I don’t know if it was a worker or another customer, but someone should do something. Not okay to have this happen in a big retail chain.

kevin labonville Scituatema: I have been to this store’s men’s department twice in the last few months with a considerable amount of money to spend there.Unfortunately, this store has deteriorated substantially over the last several years.From the brass “Nordstrom” plaque outside the main entrance door that is tarnished and obviously not maintained, to the fitting rooms full of discarded clothing from previous customers, not picked up, it is painfully obvious that Nordstrom has sank to the level of Kohls.Unless you are a person under the age of 30, rest assured that the staff of this men’s department will disregard you blatantly (today, two sales people looked me in the face and ignored me without so much as a hello or even an acknowledgment that I even existed.)The department is a mess and I observed clothing on the floor while sales staff were busy visiting with each other. How sad.As you walk into the store, take a little time to observe that the landscaping lighting around the store is falling apart and not maintained. Plan on Nordstrom in Braintree to be gone soon.Sadly It’s customer experience, which always made me happy to spend a “little bit more” is already gone.RIP

Priya: Worst Nordstrom location... The place is a mess. Bathrooms are disgusting. The staff is rude and the management, store manager Daniel even worse. An employee literally was swearing/ threatening customers and her own manager while on the floor. Someone below wrote that the "whole store was like shopping at Walmart" and they are spot on. Would not recommend this location. The Burlington and Natick locations (actually all locations) are significantly better..
Nancy H: As many other people have noted this is the absolute worst Nordstrom probably in the United States. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and poorly trained. The manager must be new "Daniel" he is similar to these employees and has no customer service skills and is very condescending. I went to this store last week and to exchange an item and and employee was "overworked" and threatened to "go back to jail for the 6th time" for beating up someone referring to the customer. She then proceeded to argue with her manager on the floor about "beating this person up". This company has gone significantly downhill especially this location. I would not recommend if you're looking for a high quality experience, definitely would stick with the other locations or Neiman Marcus / saks etc-
ESSENCE RUSSELL- WHITE: This store is very nice. I came in to buy some shoes for a gift for Christmas. The store is very expensive but has some giod deals sometimes. They do have high end and quality clothing, so I get the prices. I haven't been in the store for some time so I forgot where the men's department was. A young gentleman offered to help. He was dressed in jeans and didn't look like he worked there, but he showed me where the men's department was. He asked what i was looking for, checked for the item, and the size, had me look at them to make sure they were the correct item I wanted, and cashed me out. A+ customer service for him. I was in and out just the way I like. Especially at this time of the year. Great experience.

I ask her to try on a small and she tells me that size won’t fit me. I continue to try on the jacket and it does fit! Moral of the story don’t comment on your customers body size if you want to make a $1000 sale. Will not be coming back to this location ever.
