Katie Tully: I went into the store to buy the F.A.R. Backpack. I was in and out of the store in two minutes. When I got back home, I took out the bag to begin packing as I had to catch a train. Unfortunately, I was incorrectly given a tote bag. I called the store at 7:01PM. They close at 7. They answered the phone. I explained that I received the wrong bag and I was trying to catch a train. I was about 10 minutes from the store and they were nice enough to let me bring the bag back so that I could get the correct one. The store was closed, I didn't even expect them to answer the phone, nevermind wait for me to come exchange for the correct item. I thought that was very kind and above and beyond customer service.ps-- the bag is awesome

Valerie Tarantino: I have been eyeballing the new Everywhere Bag for a couple days now, trying to find the perfect bag for my needs and today I found myself with a three hour layover at Logan Airport so I figured I would kill some time by swinging by the Away store here since there are none where I live.By the time I get to the store, it is about 9:30 AM and I find a CLOSED sign on the door. Slight panic kicks in because the store doesn't open for another hour and a half, and by then I had to be back at the airport. I am standing outside the store and Steven walks past me and then into the store to get the day started. I figured I would try and see if he could help me so I knock on the door and he opens it, then I tell him my situation. Steven was SO helpful and was able to help me get the bag even when they were still closed for another hour and a half! I was truly amazed at how great him and Mateo were at helping me not only get the bag but also highlighted all of the features, and even took care of all of the unwrapping for me since I was going to be using it immediately on my connecting flight. The bag so far seems to be exactly what I expected. It also looks great on top of the Bigger Carry-On and I couldn't be happier with their products so far, and the customer service behind it! Thank you Steven & Mateo!

Peter Deutsch: Zipper broke after a year. Store tried to charge me a $15 fee to ship it in for warranty service. Quality of Tumi has fallen off cliff and customer service non existent. Avoid.
Eutaw Street: Very underwhelming engraving services, both quality and expectations wise. Why offer a service at all if you can't provide basic quality control? Brushing quality concerns under the rug doesn't seem like a viable strategy either.

She asked what I was interested to buy and selected out the items for me, so I can quickly choose upon arriving. Tang Jenny: Not a particularly helpful sales conversation. Samsonite's website isn't particularly helpful when comparing the different collection lines, and the sales lady keeps repeating they are different types of plastic material isn't particularly helpful either. She isn't able to explain why one is superior over the other, but keeps repeating the same line. C side, Spin tech, up tempo, freeform collections, there are so much variety and just saying they are different and one is lighter is a frustrating sales conversation.

Joseph Oh: Walked into this store to see if they can do the engraving on my Tumi backpack which I bought like 8 years ago. Two ladies working in there were happy to help me and put the engraving on my bag within like 5 minutes. I've been meaning to do this for a long time but a few Tumi stores I've visited in the past said they don't/couldn't do it.

kuchifrito: This guy was absolutely REMARKABLE! His name is Craig Cannon. This was my first time buying Tumi products and this guy gave me the most pleasant experience. I mean, he WOWED me. His customer service skills were truly unmatched. So, if you in the Boston area and are looking for luggage or travel gear, I most certainly recommend this store. To me, I give the customer service experience a lot of weight and this gentleman has what it takes to properly and accurately represent the Tumi brand. Thank you Craig for your patience because my wife WAS a pain in the rear end and you were as cool as ice.

You can imagine how annoying it is to have to hand carry this all around the airport when it's full...I just wanted to be able to use the suitcase to get home.First time, no luck. It would take 4 weeks. Then they called me back and said a NY store would ship the part. Apparently it was the wrong handle, but they still went ahead and performed a temporary repair with the closest possible handle. I am BEYOND happy as all I wanted was a functioning suit case to bring home!!!Thank you Carlos and team!

Forget that I got to ride around the store ON the Large Check-in Silver Hardshell case, aided by some aggressive pushes by Dom... I have to be honest: the luggage is beautiful and very substantial, and when I actually bought the unit, I had to come to the point where I KNEW it was...an investment! Because at first bight, it feels expensive. But with some simple math application, having destroyed three and a half comparably-sized bags over ten years of constant global travel, the investment is well worth the dollars, euros or pounds you lay out. She should have handled the situation much more professionally. I was about to buy a set. Walked out after I saw that treatment.

Jocelyn Sobieraj: They are SO RUDE. I cannot believe the positive reviews here. I have basically never had a pleasant experience (but they are one of the only luggage stores in the business in this area that I know of) but today really topped it all. They did not fix my suitcase correctly and instead of apologizing, the guy was rude and insinuated that it was my fault for not taking care of it, and inadvertently breaking the suitcase again. When I pointed out that his "apology" was rude and not sufficient, he said that they have been in the business for over 50 years as if they have no culpability here when they clearly made a mistake. It was not a good look. They could learn a lesson or two in customer service and humility. I refuse to patronize this store again.
Luke Hardin: Have gotten 2 of my expensive luggage pieces repaired here. Not only is the customer service extremely friendly, but the seemingly family owned and operated business always seems to have my best interest at heart!

Was told for over a week it would be completed "the next day". After a week I was told it could not be repaired and that it would be replaced. Two weeks after that when I spoke to them I was informed that it would not be replaced and that I need to contact my airline carrier!? Seriously? Shame that Samsonite recommends this place for repairs and its a shame that any place would have such poor customer service.Cannot recommend this place at all.
