The manager lady hung up on me. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. This is how they treat a customer thru had for 22 years.

T-mobile prices are good but if you want a reliable mobile service with extra perks like a functional mobile app, easily accessible and helpful customer support, then reconsider other options. As for this store in particular, the staff were especially rude, to the point where I decided on the spot it wasn't worth the cheap prices anymore.

Otherwise, a very poorly run store - it's a shame they are one of the most convenient locations.Ive had two experiences trying to replace a damaged phone through warranty with them, and both times required 3-5 visits because the staff would not be able to help me ("come back when so and so is in") or because they incorrectly filed my case in their system and needed to start it all over. Both times!I get the sense the staff are overworked and undertrained, they seem to do everything they can to do the least to help you they can possibly get away with, pushing tasks off to others or telling you to come back later.I finally got a replacement phone today, after 3-4 weeks and way too many visits - and it didn't have a SIM card in it! I'm not a person who usually posts reviews, but this really did it for me. How do you send someone off with a new phone and forget to give them a SIM card? The level of disorganization is amazing.

William Harris: Possibly the worst customer experience I have ever dealt with. Everything they did was wrong. They started a trade in then supposedly their computers crashed right as the process was finalized. They then told us to come back the next day, when we came back the next day, when we got there they said they gave the phone away which was the last one they had. They then sent us to a different store, when we go to that store, they said they couldn’t do the trade in with the old phone. We then had to go back to the Boylston St store. When we arrived to the store again, they claimed that the promo they originally offered was wrong. They seriously need to train their employees better, we got a credit off of the account but that doesn’t help too much when you spent 3 separate days dealing with this. Never again will I go to this store.I will say once being there for the 3rd time I finally dealt with 2 people Javier and May that were finally able to get things squared away. It was still a rough experience but I will say they were both professional and helpful.

I will remind you all when working with "non corporate" stores you may not have the same experience. Between my online expert Meghan in Maine and Toba at 422 Boylston, Boston - you can't go wrong! Chris Obrien: Horrible experience. Went there yesterday to fix my phone that had a black screen was told by customer service they could open the back and connect wire. They did not do anything except try to hard reset which I already tried. I was going to get a replacement phone with my warranty which was under a year and was told it expired which wasn't true. I bought the phone in January 2021 and its November 2021 which leaves 2 months left on my phone. Left the store very angry it was a waste of a trip. Thank God I called T mobile back as again customer service helped told me it was still under warranty and is sending a new phone to the store near my house. I was going to buy a new phone online thank God I didn't. Will never go back to this store again no wonder I order everything online.

While I was talking to the executive my wife who was looking at mobile accessories saw the restroom sign and went to use it.... so this executive stopped talking to me midway and ran behind my wife and started knocking on the door saying it’s employee only and outsiders are not allowed to use it.Apparently there was a sign which read employee only but not on the ladies section.I get it they do not want anyone other than employees to use the restrooms, but if a customer uses the service- would you make them come out of the toilets that too to a woman? Is this how you treat your customers ? Why not lock the doors and keep the keys with you if you don’t want customers to use the restrooms!We apologized to the employee and we didn’t say much, but it’s extremely difficult to process and forget the way we were treated.Won’t be visiting this disrespectful place ever again.

Dimitrios Chlorokostas: Terrible customer service! I enter the shop at 66 Lincoln St. and all 3 employees are with the heads down scrolling on their instagram. One of them turns to greet me and after I explain shortly that I would like to activate my Tourist Plan, she replies "We 're a corporate store here, we don't do these things". After being shocked by her response I try to tell her what she can do to help me. She said "I can give you a chair and you can call customer service". After sitting there and having spoken to 5 employees at customer care for 45 minutes (literally!) until I solve the problem, the only thing that these 3 employees at the store did was accept a payment from a guy. Nothing else. And for this they are getting paid. Shout out to the Management of T-mobile out there!
R Lee (MochiFM): Abysmal customer service was what stuck in my mind after my last visit. I accompanied my mom to try and help her pay a T-mobile bill after cutting ties with T-mobile. The young and visibly un-enthused employee there asked for my mother's phone number, tapped it onto her tablet, and the account didn't come up. The employee then proceeded to give up entirely and say there's nothing else she can do to help us.I know she can look up my mother's account through other methods. T-mobile account number, social security, and etc. But nope, she didn't bother with those options. Instead she just pushed the both of us out of the store. That is not customer service, not by a long shot.

Dennis Barros: Had a great experience here. My iPhone 11 Pro suddenly stopped working and no troubleshooting fixed it. Rushed to T-Mobile during work and they took great care of me. I left within 1.5 hours with a brand new iPhone 14 Pro, a nice case, and screen protector.Sorry for spelling her name wrong, but Crisidalis was awesome. The entire staff seemed really nice, patient, and helpful.I recommend calling ahead if you have a specific phone in mind because they don’t carry a lot of stock in the stores.Thanks Team!
NN Reviews: Pushy and unhelpful customer service if you could call it 'service', more like 'customer sabotage'. I went in to buy the cheapest phone because I just needed a phone since my current phone was malfunctioning. Sales rep, Carmelot, wouldn't let me buy it. Kept advising me against it and even asking another rep to pipe in. Eventually, I felt pressured to buy a more expensive phone, but then Carmelot mentioned that I had insurance, which was unbeknownst to me. I asked him to double check, which he did not and assured me that I had it. So, I used their store phone to call to make a claim because that made more sense than buying a phone if I can just get my phone replaced. After talking to the phone rep, turns out I don't have insurance, so Carmelot was wrong both times for telling me I had it and then refusing to doublecheck when I asked. He wasted everybody's time. However, the phone rep informed me that I could actually enroll in insurance and make a claim right after, so that's what I did, but the whole time, Carmelot kept trying to talk to me saying how he can enroll me instead. He was so pushy and annoying and not even helpful because he eventually enrolled me WITHOUT my consent while I was talking to the phone rep, and when I had the phone rep doublecheck, she said that he enrolled me in the wrong tier. Thankfully, the phone rep was able to fix his error and even apologized on his behalf that I was receiving such terrible customer service in the store. Carmelot is beyond incompetent. It felt more like he was trying to sabotage everyone, including himself. Not only was he inefficient AF, he was also severely rude and lazy and I'm pretty sure him changing my phone plan all of a sudden without my consent is illegal if not against company policy. I don't understand why TMobile customer service at the stores suck everywhere. I'm seriously thinking of switching to Mint Mobile, so I don't ever have to step foot in a TMobile store and talk to any of these god damn people ever again.

H H: The worst customer service ever. I met Mike a man of Asian decent. Clearly a racist and rude individual. I called the store in advance to find out if I can buy a phone without a contract. They said yes I can. I also asked if I dont like the phone and want to return it what is the option. They said within 14 days and a $35 dollar restocking fee. When I asked the same questions in store, Mike said no restocking fee is nothing less than $75. Then he said $50. Then he said no I will not sell you a phone. You only want to return it. I was like are you serious? I cant even ask about my options. He said no get a contract or leave. You have to be a TMobile customer. I said I am. He replied no I will not sell you a phone. I said you've changed your statements so many times. Mike then replied no I won't sell you any phone, leave. Mike is a horrible sales person and is a screaming racist.

Jasmine: Needed a new SIM card because the iPhone I had delivered to me didn’t include one. Luckily, the staff at this T-Mobile location was extremely friendly and patient. A lot of times it’s a hit or miss with T-Mobile staff members, but I was definitely in luck this time because the person that helped me quickly jumped into action without hesitation nor push back and fixed the issue. After he helped me with my SIM card issue, I had to figure out how to set my new phone up which took 2 and a half hours. They allowed me to use their chargers while I figured everything out, checked in on me, and never made me feel rushed. Very laidback and easy going team! I’d give them a try if I were you. I really wish I had’ve gotten their names, but the guy with the perfectly curly Afro (and the one with the long hair) was especially helpful!

You just lost a customer and many more.The morning shift is pathetic, I have been here once during the evening shift and they were comparatively better. My suggestion is stay away from this store and even if you go here and experience such bad service make sure to raise a complaint and if that does not work then call 911.A zero star rating by me (this is my first zero star review).

I went there to add my friend to an existing line of our family plan, and the staff(the mexican looking guy without the tatoo) told us there is no way he can add someone to our family plan unless we pay $30 to open a new line(while there already is an unused line). What a crook!I literally do not understand how that dude got hired into the service industry. Avoid this store if possible! Just take a walk and there is another store right at Copley!

Le Hoang Lam Bơ: Similar to the most recent customer, I was stolen ~50$ by the selling me non-workable sim card on my phone. To be fair, the call and msg services work, but what I need is the internet data as I am a traveller. Before making a purchase, I explained to them that another installed T-mobile simcard on my phone didnot work on the internet data and asked them advice. The technician guarateed that their simcard will work 100%. Then I agreed to buy it and kindly asked them to install it in the store if any technical issue might happen. It didnot work, but then they said nothing about this.What they said to me is only Sorry and they cannot refund. I was kind of upset because they didnot provide me any solution but tried to kick me out of the store. I had to contact the care service more than 5 times in that day (611) and had to explain the entire story in every call (this is because the call was interupted and I could not know the reason why). Finally the care service agreed to refund ¬50$ if I would present myself in the shop. The staff on the call said, she already made a note on the system and I just need to pop by and collect my refund.On the day I came to the shop where I purchased the simcard, the lady said: I cannot refund and requested me to talk with the care service again. At that time, I mostly lost my patience with the system as they completely ignored all the communications they made with me. I had to calm down and rang the care service, again I had to report them entirely the story and was quite upset as the noise from the lady and her staff. I didnot receive any support or even attitude of sympathy about my situation.After having 3 calls ( 1hour on the phone), they said they will forward me to another service who can address my case. Ok, thank you. Then, I was completely agressive and couldnot carry on the conversation anymore when the lady again asked me the entire story (starting with my phone number, when do you buy this, what is your order number, what is your prob, did you try ABC, did you talk to...), after chatting with the care service for about 10 minutes, I gave up my right to claim back 50$. I decided to put my review here on google, just to let the other traveller be aware about my situation here.My review:About T-mobile: They didnot have an inter-communication system among shops. The care service is not reliable.About the shop on this address: They didnot have a professional attitude to support customers.

We got through after an hour plus wait, got one of the two lines switched and was told they they can only handle one issue per call!!!!! Are you serious T Mobile!?!?! The hold time, the two girls AND the manager Kevin was helping us on the phone. No bad attitude ( I won’t even blame them if they get ignored but they did not). Remind you they were not doing it to make a big sales, they did it to server their customers! Credo to the store and to everyone work there. I am coming back for a iPhone 10. I really don’t know how they get paid but they deserve all the business. If you are reading this and need something from T mobile, go to this store and buy it from these servering and hard working people!

Joey Gomes: This store is horrible and tmobile customer service is horrible too. I was transferring over from another carrier so i decided to stop by and do it. A few weeks later I called to see why I hadn't received my phones yet and was told the woman at the store didn't know what she was doing. My order was for two lines and she had suspended one line and never attached the trade in so they had to redo the order. They lied to me and said i would get the same promotions because it wasn't my fault but a phone that was supposed to be free i ended up paying some for it. Beware tmobile and their customer service and the woman with the long nails. I wish I had stayed with Verizon.
Danny Gessner: Very smooth experience to walk in as a new customer. I came in on a Saturday morning and there were 3 folks working and no one else waiting to be helped. Jadelis A was very helpful and informative, she gave me the best overview of the plans without trying to upsell me. Very high contrast with my attempt to get a new phone at V*rizon the previous week where the staff was so busy they had no interest in helping me shop for a new phone. Very happy to be part of T-Mobile now.

g d: Excellent excellent!!! My mother and I are very impressed by the salespeople at this location. My mother went in to purchase a phone on Friday and was helped by Pedro and we went in Saturday to exchange for an upgrade. We are not sure of the name of the employee who helped us on Saturday he just said he usually worked in Chelsea but he was very very helpful even though we came in late. Very good up sellers we have to admit . We left with extra stuff. 😂 Great job guys!

Abel Burgos: I went to this location yesterday at 640pm and was assisted by Jackie she help me with transferring media and contacts to another phone I would be using and canceling my old phone. This she did correctly. She stated I am all set. Thinking I was allset I left went home and I was not allset I was not able to make calls on new phone. m p: This store really deserves zero stars….. Do not go to this store if you need to upgrade your phone and want to keep your existing phone number. The associates will lie to you and say “you can only buy a new phone if you open a new line”.My friend and I were confused since we have both been with t-mobile for over 5 years and have never had this problem. We told them that we have had the same number and have been able to upgrade our phones with the same number with no problem. They said “it’s a new thing that t mobile does”.This is not true and you should go to a different store or call customer service. Customer service was able to get my friend a new phone without opening a new line and she was able to keep her existing phone number.All the associates there are rude, unhelpful, and don’t treat their customers right.

Yesleini Castillo: Nelfi Morales was very helpful. He made my experience easygoing and quick! He accommodated anything I needed reassurances about when it came to the devices I had purchased. Couldn’t have asked for a better service experience.
Malcolm Mayfield: After going to and calling several locations this one said they had the pixel pro 7. I waited a decent while on the phone and then Angelina came back and said they had it and told her I was coming. When I arrived, the phone was no longer in stock. "Someone must have sold it". The Cambridge side mall location didn't have the phone. The Brookline location just didn't know what I was talking about or how to order it. And now this location, presumably, misled me. I've never experienced this before. I have always had a phone held for me when I called ahead, especially since I'm a 0 down magenta max... Pretty disappointing. The fourth store didn't answer. I called a Verizon, just to see... In stock in all colors... Fascinating.
So Lo: The gentleman that assisted me did so by greeting me immediately upon entry, allowed me to tell him of my issues which he then got to it by locating my replacement phone that was shipped to the store; then politely yet confidently told me approx. how long to transfer info, settings etc and so we began the journey of an overall good experience! As I'd arrived not too long after the stores opening there weren't any other in store customers at the time. Therefore I'm guessing that's why the other 2 store associates were comfortable sitting enjoying coffee together one of them the store manager. As the morning went on a family of customers came in- funny thing the young man helping me in the kindest way possible excuses himself (downloads still happening in my phone) and tells me, to go assist the newcomers. Don't even ask- the answer is yes the other 2 employees are in the store not much interested. A 3rd family comes in, so what I gather is customers like this young man, relate to him because he is efficient, kind and caring. I gathered that the woman not the store manager could possibly be newer to the store but who knows. What I do know is KUDOS to this young man for being such a stand up person, resilient, kind and efficient. Thank you for making our experience a decent one.

Sabrina Lopez: Do not use this store, the store tried to scam me out of 150 dollars refusing to honor my jump phone coverage pay off on an upgrade. I had done research before and was aware but was told several times I was incorrect. Upon calling customer service and upgrading via websites I could do my upgrade without cost and get my additional discount. Service was rude, and the agent spoke to me as if I was ignorant vastly different than my male appearing partner. Highly do not recommend.

Aaron Caine: Very nice staff, clean store and good selection.Two stars because I called to verify I could pick up upgrade devices on multiple lines without paying any fees. When I arrived at the store, I was shown an estimate with a $35 fee per line. When I asked about it, I was told it was required. I was not asking for any help with my setup, just picking up phones. This fee is not charged when performing the upgrade online; I wanted to pick the devices up in-store due to time/availability. If the fee is required, that's understandable, but I specifically asked and took the time to come by the store just to be informed the opposite of what I was told when I called. I did confirm that I spoke with and met with the same person. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding, but it was an unfortunate waste of everyone's time that felt like a bait and switch.
Archer Forsyth: Literally everyone I met at this location was super nice and helpful. There were a lot of problems with my phone upgrade (the phones fault not theirs) but I really appreciated their help!

S.K. Tan: Nelfi was an amazing help. He was patient in helping our cellular setup of an Apple Watch SE in family setup (how misinformed we were of some of the online documentation and videos!!!) and shows excellent know how and was also always consulting his supervisor when he wasn’t sure - it was done in one pass (we had to reset our watch but I didn’t care). While helping us, he was also attending to other walk-ins at the right moment (say when the watch app setup wizard was in progress intra-steps). Very efficient. And that magenta vest - 👌🙂.

Peace Ntagengwa: My family and I originally went to T-Mobile in Malden on Tuesday; that was the worst experience we’ve ever had by far. So we decided to go to Brighton. Jasmine came into work on her sick day JUST to help my family switch over. She not only saved us A LOT of money but she had to fix the mess T-Mobile Malden caused the day before. Which had us in the store from 4:40-8:40 like we literally did a whole shift. Never once did the managers complain unlike the one in Malden. They were all so nice and wanted us to get the beat help. Jasmine was more worried about us being there for so long than her and her manager working after closing. From start to finish she was amazing and you can tell she knows what she’s doing. Thank you Jasmine for helping us and coming in on your sick day; thank you to your managers for being so positive and helpful as well.

Sasha Smith: Pay attention to what your customers are actually requesting rather than being so desperate for a sale. We repeated what our needs were in terms of adding a phone to my plan SEVERAL times (this past Sunday) to the sales associate and he kept pushing additional SIM cards on us. Now we've received the phone and it can't even be used because it's an e-sim and we're having to contact customer service and do more work on our end to rectify the situation.The point of doing successful business is not just hitting your numbers. Make sure your customers needs are actually satisfied and provide QUALITY service so that it doesn't backfire and ruin your store's reputation. I'd advised other potential or existing Tmobile customers to go to another location this one is trash.

anna02150: I visited the store a day prior and the rep was very helpful, polite and really trying to help me but unfortunately what I needed this location didn't have it in stock. I was sent to another location and All I can say about the other place, nicely is OMG. The following day I had returned to South Bay but that was a waste of time could not receive the help I needed. My belief is T-mobile should really, really give technical training to all its employees, it's not just about to make a sale, they should understand the technically of what they selling.
