Brazilian Top Team Boston: what do users think?
Yahya Kaddouri: I just wanna know if this club still open.
Dexterity: I’ve been training here for 4 years, it’s a great place and great teachers. Jiu-jitsu changed my LIFE
Tata’s Vlog: My kids has been going there for the past 6 years , great environment,Awesome teachers ! i really recommend it !!
Ricardo R: I’ve been training at BTT Boston since 2009. Great atmosphere, a lot of higher belts and Prof. Daniel Gazoni (5th degree black belt) is a pioneer of BJJ in New England with over 20 years of experience. This sport had helped us a lot in the positive way. We meet so many people from many places, people from different countries, and we always learn something from each other. Highly recommended.
Louis Turner: Went for a BJJ class a few years ago it was good, returned to Boston to see family, this week and have tried several times to call, tried several times to chat online and even left an email before I came, to ask about a few things...no response at all. I HAVE called during hours posted(hours which the website says yall are open), have tried to chat during hours posted online as open and having class...no response. Today there was supposed to be a muay thai class at 12, I got there at 1215, no one was there.I'm curious if the scheduled times are accurate as during those hours no one answered the phone when I called. I know it's not all about me but its frustrating when reaching out about class times, payment(which wasn't working online) etc and no response is given, not even after the fact. The muay thai class, an instructor Leo were great, but due to poor lack of communication, its a one star affair.Be well. "Ish"
Patrick: Bah!!!…ruhhh…..uh
M L: Took my first class, I was a little nervous driving over - but they made me feel right at home!!!The experts here are great teachers, the students have a positive attitude, and this locations environment, atmosphere and comradery inspire growth.see you inside!
Jean Harris: I like this gym very much. Great ppl to wrk out with and around, everyone's nice. Staff is great. And also a great price for the family if you need to bring kids with you. Check to see the times available to babysitting.
Buggyjae Bjj: Awesome campCame from a entire different gymInstantly fell in love with the atmosphere and the peopleEver since thenI never left
Amina Ferrer: location is awesome super competitive and yet still laid backbetween the long list of black belts always there training to the lower belts there everyone is willing to help you out !!!!highly recommendboth kids & adults
Marian V Esanu: If you want to feel like you belong to your bjj fam, BTT is the best place to be. Regardless if you are a hobbyist or want to compete, prof Daniel will help you achieve your goals.
Adrian Eșanu: The best Jiu Jitsu team I ever trained with!!!
Gimena DeFilpo: Nice place I wish I can give them a 5 star but the jiu jitsu for kids there didn’t went well for my 8 years old ! Other kid BROKE his finger just bc he didn’t tap out on the mat !! The kids was the same age but more experience . My just started and learning . I called the manager few times nobody call me back . My child really want to learn jiu jitsu but after few hours at EMERGENCY room of course he don’t want to back there . BROKE FINGER!! Very sad .
Kenneth Siriani: Best group of guys and gals around and the instructors are second to none. Very competitive ( they teach but also compete at a very high level) and make it challenging and fun at the same time. I’ve got life events I’m going though, but look forward to returning. I genuinely like coming here as I consider many here my friends
Leticia Ugiete: Critical:Professionalism
Jair Morselli: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
alexander pabrezis: Amazing great school and unbelievable instructor's and some of the best people students I've ever meet
perry gagnon: Honestly I can't even begin to say enough great things about Brazilian top team Boston they have a team or better yet said a "family" that is welcoming to all. The atmosphere caters to just about anyone. Those who may be competitive, people that may just be looking to lose weight while learning a valuable skill set. it really doesn't matter because under this roof it's managed and instructed by Professor Daniels a real gem in the jiu-jitsu community. also followed by his many successful black belts who are always willing to share with and progress all students. if you're looking for a loyal honest family based jujitsu academy that will give you the results you're looking for this is probably the one give them a try, you won't regret it!
Fabio Incalado: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueProfessor Daniel is the best professor you can have. The team is super nice, I learned a lot and have a lot of fun.
Daniel De Oliveira: Best Jiu Jitsu gym Metro Boston. Professor Daniel Gazzoni is very knowledgeable and personable. Great atmosphere.
Zakaria Azeggouar Wallen: One of the best gyms out there. Has very different style from Brazilian jujitsu to muathai and Olympic style taekwondo. Friendly instructors. Great with kids. Multiple blackbelt during BJJ.

CW Taekwondo at Boston: what do users think?
Sarthak Jena: A great place to learn taekwondo and improve fitness. Open and welcoming to anyone looking to learn martial arts from skilled instructors. A supportive community atmosphere as well.
johany montes: My children have been going to CW Taewando for many years now, although my youngest moved on to softball and gymnastics, my son continued all the way to receiving his Jr. Black belt. The instructor are so knowledgeable, reliable, patient, encouraging and just overall good people. Taewando has help my son work on perseverance, focus, and building his confidence. I am grateful for this sport and the instructors. Highly recommend to try and stick through Taewando even when your child tries to give up, because the end result is life changing, and rewarding for you and your child.
Casey Denham: My home away from home! A great place to train and an even better community!
Mike Harb: CW TaeKwonDo Boston is an amazing martial arts school. The community is extremely supportive and welcoming. It is a non-profit organization where the instructors and officers volunteer their time. They do it because they love it, which makes for a very unique atmosphere. It was founded by a group of University graduates who combine intelligence as well as athletic excellence with passion and care. The Youth program is second to none - helping kids learn discipline, respect, self-control and perseverance while gaining confidence and staying active.
George Bill: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueFantastic instructors both in person and over Zoom. Challenging but supportive
Paul Sayed: Who knew that kicking things is a great way to make friends!CW Taekwondo offers a non-intimidating and welcoming way to work out and learn martial arts! The workouts are really high level and the environment is really positive for all experience levels.
Yemil Serret: CW Taekwondo is an amazing place to learn Taekwondo! I felt welcomed by the instructors and students since day one. I appreciate the fact that everyone always encourages me to get better and this place truly feels like a family environment. Since I've been a member at CW Taekwondo I have felt my confidence increase, my technique always improving each class, and my physique developing. I always look forward to attending classes and I am glad that I found CW Taekwondo.
Kashif-ul Huda: Highly recommended for martial arts training for young kids. Miss Amy and Miss Kat are very gentle with kids and patient but also firm so kids learn a lot about discipline, confidence, and important life lessons. They have classes for people of all ages but I have not seen better teachers for kids.Easily accessible from redline Central Square T stop or a paid parking structure right across the street from CW Taekwondo.
Robin Stevens: I joined C.W. a little over four years ago. I was looking for an activity that would allow me to get some exercise, relieve stress, and meet some new people. I had also always wanted to try a martial art, and C.W. happened to be the closest place to where I lived at the time. I knew within the first week that I had found a very special place -- one that gave me everything I was looking for and much more.As many other reviewers have said, the quality of the instruction is world-class, the community spirit is inspiring, and the price is a steal. If you're thinking about joining but are worried because you think you're not athletic enough or not naturally flexible or too old -- know that C.W. really does welcome people of all ages and abilities! All the instructors ask is that you give everything your best effort and strive to improve every class.
Joy Sun: I found C.W. by happenstance. I moved to the Boston-area 6.5 years ago knowing no one and on a whim, decided to give martial arts a try. I went to C.W. because it was a seven-minute walk from my apartment -- although I also liked that it was a non-profit and volunteer-run. There, I not only found a new passion for Taekwondo (fostered by truly incredible, world-class athlete-instructors and classmates), but also a community of people who have become family.C.W. Taekwondo, tucked in the heart of Central Square, is a true hidden gem of a place. People walking down Green Street pass by its unassuming façade every day without thinking about what's inside. But inside, nearly every night of the week, there is an assemblage of people of all ages and backgrounds, putting all of their hearts into each workout. Classes are led by preeminent Taekwondoists, who coach and compete for top spots nationally and internationally. The students are warm, hard-working - they smile while they sweat together. They stay after class to get help on techniques from each other. There is clapping for each other, there are high-fives, there are after-workout congregations at the bar across the street. The culture of the place, focused on community, fitness, and excellence, is what makes this place special. I highly recommend C.W. Taekwondo. Even if you aren't looking for a new home-away-from-home, like I was 6.5 years ago, C.W. is the place to go if you're looking for any of these things: (a) a fun and effective way to work out and stay fit for really great prices; (b) stress relief through kicking in a safe space; (c) a new way to be social and meet wonderful people; and/or (d) the best Taekwondo experience in the Boston area.
Katarina Vulic: The community and caliber of TKD at C.W. is truly fantastic. The classes are an excellent mix of cardio and core strength/flexibility and members and instructors are all incredibly welcoming. I can't say enough about the instructors here, they are the best. I highly recommend C.W. to anyone interested in trying martial arts.
Ashley Wallace: C.W. Taekwondo is a truly unique place. I began in the adult taekwondo program with no previous experience, hoping to get a work-out in a non-gym setting. I've now stayed a member for over three years because of the excellent instruction, great friends, and welcoming community. The instructors are encouraging, while holding their expectations to a high standard. The instructors are able to cater their teaching styles to individual students' needs and abilities. As I progressed through the ranks, I was able to appreciate the level of excellence our teachers exhibited; most competing at the national and international levels.Workouts are fun and challenging, combining cardio, strength training, and curriculum/skills.What makes C.W. so special is the sense of community. For an individual sport, there is a strong sense of support and encouragement. C.W. is constantly holding social events, as well as community events in Cambridge and Boston. A great group of people, and a great taekwondo education!I highly recommend giving C.W. a try!
Kyle Rand: More than an awesome workout - the community here is amazing.
Saima Sidik: CW is by far the best martial arts school I've been to. It provides a rigorous but encouraging environment and a great social network!
Sanjit Mandal: This is a great place to train. I am a karate practitioner, and when I wanted to spend sometime working on improving my kicks, I came here. Hand down, this is the best Tae Kwon Do spot in Boston, also considering the cost.Kids, teens, and parents should make martial arts a part of their life, and it should begin here!
Ahaan Rungta: I recently moved to Cambridge and, as a Yellow Belt, I wanted to continue Tae Kwon Do. My Mom found CW Tae Kwon Do and I signed up in Adult Level. Instructor Chuang was extremely encouraging. When I started, the Instructors Lohren, Nam, Chan, Julie, and James have always made me think of Tae Kwon Do at a different level, pushing me to perfection! I tend to live in a more mental zone so Taekwondo at CW is what I need to get moving and feel energized. Thank you so much for accepting me in your fold.
Matt Towler: I attended CW Taekwondo for nearly a decade, finally attaining my first degree black belt while there. The support and attention I got while on that path kept me going while in the past I would've given up. You definitely find yourself hitting heights that you never thought you'd reach. All aspects of taekwondo are taught, with somewhat more emphasis on competition sparring (one of the founding instructors went on to compete in the Olympics in Athens!).
Ellen Crenshaw: After years of sitting on my butt, I decided in 2011 it was time for a change. I signed up for kickboxing with CW and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made! It's T-accessible, mere steps from Central Square station. Three times a week with three different instructors gives you three great workouts with varying focus on upper body, lower body, and technique. The instructors are friendly and encouraging, the vibe between the instructors and the students is familial. After class if I have questions about technique they are always happy to offer help. There's a community here unmatched by any gym I've been to. I've come a long way—I feel stronger and more energetic with every class—but there's still so much more to achieve and I'm thrilled to do it at CW.
Sarah Song: I've experienced both the Cardio Kickboxing and Tae kwon do classes, and I really enjoyed doing both types of workouts. The instructors know what they are doing and always push the students without overdoing it. The atmosphere is quite friendly also. If you're looking for a great workout and a friendly atmosphere, I recommend CW.
Ken H: I started attending C.W. around November 2011. I was painfully inflexible, had zero martial arts experience, and really only had middling cardio endurance going for me.Luckily, the teachers here are extremely patient with all students; they will push you to try harder, move faster, and kick higher, but never with a temper. Sparring is practiced but with a high emphasis on safety. If you put in the effort to keep going to class and work on your material, you will improve! I'm far more flexible now and the stints on a stationary bike that used to be my high-end cardio workout now don't even get me breathing hard. The school also has a good mix of both age groups and gender, so don't be intimidated to give it a shot. It's an absolute steal for the asking price and often runs promotions for beginners. See you there.
Omar Fernández: As a member of the MIT Sport Taekwondo Club I've had the honor of training under some of the instructors of CW Taekwondo, including Master Daniel Chuang and Kathy Chuang. The instructors are very passionate about taekwondo and make sure you learn every technique the right way. Also, it makes for a great learning experience since all the instructors are very patient. Begginers (like me) will have a great time learning, while more advanced members will definitely enjoy of a good workout and good guidance on how to improve their techniques.

Jae Hun Kim Taekwon-do Institute: what do users think?
Jus Reign: Never been here but this is where Joe Rogan learn how to fight as a kid in high school to avoid bullying I think
KI EUN MUN: Grand Master Kim inspired me to do better in my life. Thank you so much for being a true mentor and thank you for guiding me to do better and inspiring me to learn Taekwondo. I’ll do my best to always make progress.
April Silbert: This unassuming door front, around the corner form Fenway Stadium, leads to a gem of a place! Go up a set of steep stairs and you will find an authentic and amazing Taekwon-do school led by master and living legend-Jae H. Kim. This martial arts institution is the real deal. Learners of all ages, backgrounds and abilities epitomize the tenets of ethical self conduct and unity among members. My daughter began taking classes here for a year and a half and we love it! As an educator myself, I truly appreciate and value the education my child receives both externally with developing strength, agility, and self defense skills and internally with self-confidence, understanding earning rank through hard-work & practice, and feeling part of a community that helps one another. There are 49 Jae H. Kim schools in 9 countries, but this one in Boston is the original and he teaches here! We feel really fortunate to be part of this school.
Michael Hewitt: I started practicing a year ago after my son started classes and love it. The practice space is huge and there are usually kids classes happening at the same time as adult classes, which makes it convenient for families. There are also lunch time classes during the week. The lunchtime classes are usually very small and it can be essentially a private lesson with a super teacher. The classes always run on time. The instruction is top notch and all the instructors are friendly, knowledgeble and approachable. Master Kim also teaches almost every day and is phenomenal. There is also light sparring on Weds and full contact sparring on Friday nights, which I've loved and would recommend. Every class is different and I've learned something new every time I've stepped on the mat.
Kashish Bhojwani: I enrolled in this school to learn a new skill and stay fit, but stayed because of how much I enjoyed the process. Through this journey, I not only got the chance to learn Taekwondo techniques, but also had the opportunity to learn from an exceptional instructor and meet some of my best friends. I especially appreciate the encouraging environment and how accommodating the school is to individual needs.
Nana Kamuanga: Best Taekwondo Institute by far! My kids have been members a bit over three years now. I love this place.
Jiayi Wang: When studying gets stressful, I show up to class here and life becomes good again :)Something about perfecting your muscle movements all the way to your fingertips is therapeutic and helps you find your peace of mind. This place is the main source where I find my confidence and happiness. :)
Ali Siahkamari: I had the best experience joining this school. I had some martial arts exposure in childhood which was almost forgotten. Joining the school brought back all the fun, confidence and fitness for me. School staff are amazing and hard to find elsewhere in the US. Grand master Kim is a role model in all possible ways. I took some Stretching classes that Jinyan taught on Sundays. I was always WELL stretched afterward. I pursued Yoga later on when I left Boston and met many yoga instructors. I never found a similar experience and carefully designed sequences of posses as what Jinyan taught.
Kerbandy: Perfect!
Lily Fang: Positive:Professionalism,QualityUnforgettable experiences!!
Claudio Gusmão: Awesome teachers in a cooperative , friendly environment
Ningjing Xia: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueIdeal place to learn martial arts or exercise! Very friendly and cooperative environment. Very professional techniques. Coming here is almost indispensable for me to maintain healthy mentally and physically especially in this pandemic time. It's so fortunate to learn from Master Kim and other instructors, who are all great mentors.
Mayuko Melanson: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy 13 year old son transitioned from other branch this spring and has since then been enjoying and inspired by Grandmaster Kim’s instructions. We are truly amazed by Mr. Kim’s passion and close attention he shares with all his students both onsite and online (at the same time!). It has been a great, positive experience!
noah fitz: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI'm a black belt there and in the past it's help me defend my self
Hung Luong: Positive:ProfessionalismThe facility is great. My 12 year old daughter is currently a green stripe and loves the Taekwondo institute. The masters are wonderful
Mary Luong: Spectacular facility!Great masters and advanced self defense in case you are in a bad situation.I highly suggest to go to this institute.I love this place in experience. You can make new friends, people in Taekwondo are very nice 👍.highly suggested and recommended.Five star rating !
ivan stehlik: THE BEST gym I was a member.
J Mark Rast: Been a student here for many many years and never ceased to be amazed by the personal attention given by the instructors, first and foremost Mr. Kim himself. It's an all inclusive family friendly environment where students of all ages and skill levels can experience the benefits of self-improvement and have fun at the same time!
Priyank Jain: Simplicity and cleanliness of the place, the work ethics and community of people. Bonus: get taught by Grandmaster Kim himself.
Xianrui Yang: It's a great school!! I have been improved a lot here!!!
Olivier Ceberio: When Charlotte and I joined the school 3 years ago, I wanted Taekwondo to help her build confidence and discipline; I was excited at the idea that I would also learn something while she trains; and I was secretly hoping that in the long term she could defend herself, so I would not have to worry that much when she will be out in the World. The school exceeded my expectations by far.I did not expect that the expertise, grace and humanity shown by the teachers would emulate Charlotte’s best traits. I saw her persisting during a test when she could not break a board and ultimately succeeding. I saw her training sometime for more than 15 hours a week to be ready for her black belt test, and always with a smile on her face. I saw her helping other kids learning their forms. I saw her socializing with confidence with every kids and adults in the club. She deserves a lot of credit, but the school was instrumental in making her a better person. As for me, I got the chance to progress with my daughter. Overcoming the same hurdles, at the same time; learning our forms together; struggling with the same kicks. Testing for the black belt together is now one of my most cherished memories and, for that, I am very grateful.

Boston Martial Arts Center: what do users think?
L AR: I have been training at Boston Martial Arts for more than 10 years. After trying a number of different martial arts and schools, I was thrilled to find a dojo that is inclusive and diverse, offers a fun and cooperative learning environment, and teaches a really engaging and interesting art. After having had a bad experience at another dojo I realized how important it is to have a teacher that I deeply respect and whom I could see myself learning from for a very long time, and Mr. Mark Davis is that for me.I trained here throughout my grad school years and return to train whenever I can even though I no longer live in the area because the school and the art have beclme an important part of my life.Highly recommend.
Aditi Agrawal: Positive:Professionalism,ValueExtremely good. An important component in my daily life . :)
Andrew Norton: Truly unique and amazing atmosphere. Although I am simply a beginner, I have trained in different martial arts systems in the past, and the Boston Martial Arts Center is by far the best school I have trained at. Our teacher, Mark Davis is perhaps the best individual I have studied under in any field. The entire staff are amazing ; welcoming, professional, fierce practitioners. This is 'Real Self Defense' and a fascinating system. As students we also benefit from being in a School that has direct connections to Mr. Stephen K. Hayes, and Hatsumi Sensei. Unbeatable!
Cyrus Bardouille: I liked the focus the classes and environment helped me to develop. Being able to channel my hyper activity into calming my spirit and building mind and body allowed me to grow.
No Name: I've been a student here for ten years. I've trained at other martial arts schools, and in other systems, and I have never found a more welcoming place, where the instructors are not only dedicated to giving their students the best training in self defense available, but also to helping their students better themselves through the martial arts. Mark Davis, the head teacher, keeps the atmosphere fun and family friendly, while also delivering the most serious treatment on the subject of getting home safely. This isn't a sport martial arts school; the training available here has only one purpose- to keep you safe. It has the added side effects of building confidence, agility, strength, and a sense of purpose. This school really brings out the best in people, and the people who train and teach here are the best in the world.
Joe Szep: Mark Davis is a highly knowledgable, friendly, and patient instructor. He is a rare source of accumulated knowledge and wisdom. You are encouraged to learn new skills and develop yourself. I have made many friends at the dojo. It feels like family to me there. Whether you are interested in learning self-defense or martial arts, you should come by, check out the dojo, and try a class!
Jennifer Kronmiller: great atmosphere.
Robert R.: Bad Atmosphere.

Modern Taekwondo Center: what do users think?
Lila Peters: First, I really wanted to thank Master Gomes and everyone who is a part of the dojang. My son is just SO HAPPY, more confident and his hands and feet are getting stronger. I have tears in my eyes writing this because of his tremors he has been teased and bullied and also when covid started he has been harassed for being Vietnamese. I am proud to be mixed as well as both my boys but understand sometimes we get treated differently. Last Friday when he broke the board he was ecstatic! And I wanted to truly thank you all for building his confidence.
Owen C: Its such a great place with great coaches some of which have been in the Olympics or coaches an olympic team in taekwondo
Heather Juric: "Dear MTC,THANK YOU so much for your zoom class. My son Niko got so much out of this training and was actually tired afterwards. Our membership will continue. I wish I had the words to express my support of your center even prior to this current challenge. We will all get through this together."
Derron Wallace: I write to first offer my deepest thanks to you all for the terrific work you're all doing. It's just so wonderful to see how well you all engage with the children and young people in your care. I know it means a lot to our son--and it certainly does to me and wife as well. Thank you all so much. He really enjoys Taekwondo, and that is no small credit to your teaching, training, and care for him and all the students.
steve kolander: Modern Taekwondo Center has done wonders for our 8-year old son. He started when he was 6 1/2 years old. He knew nothing about martial arts and now is constantly doing his forms whether he's at home, at the grocery store or outside playing. It keeps him focused and channels his endless amount of energy. He is self-confident and extremely agile which we credit with the martial arts program and his amazing teachers. They do more than just teach the kids forms and kicks, however. They also teach them integrity, perseverance and respect. It is weaved into the program and the kids are learning these executive skills without even knowing it. MTC was quick to go online with classes during the pandemic lockdown and our son has maintained his skills and enthusiasm throughout the whole quarantine. Hats off to the whole MTC staff for being so professional, forward-thinking and fast-acting!!!
Benjamin Goodman: Two of our kids have been in the program for 8 years and a third wanted to join as soon as he was old enough (age 5). They had so much fun my wife and I joined too! It has been great for fitness, flexibility, agility, strength and fun. It has helped prepare us for other activities like hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, & given everyone confidence.
Jayme Cook: To Our Amazing Instructors, Thank you for finding a way to maintain the warm sense of community that we always feel when we walk in the dojang doors! Continuing classes, exposure to your tireless positivity, and maintaining an expectation that students continue to learn and develop is a welcome bit of normalcy. Thank you for your energy, effort, and enthusiasm. We feel SO LUCKY to be a part of MTC, today and always! When I asked Ryan what we could suggest to improve the Zoom lessons, he looked at me like I was crazy - he said they’re awesome, why would you want to change that?! Gratefully, The Cook Family
Christina Carlin: Thank you so very much for providing the online classes! It’s been quite a transition to navigate with young children and having some normalcy has helped tremendously. Both our son (though camera shy on day 1) and our daughter (feeling a little more quiet than usual) have enjoyed the classes and like seeing familiar faces. We truly appreciate your dedication to our kids! Stay well!
Michelle Bartley: “It is hard to put into words the positive influence you and the entire MTC community is having on these kids. I wish you could see the positive physical and mental change that occurs in my son from before class starts to after. He completely lights up when he sees you guys on the screen, hears his name in a shout out, or hears his friends’ names from class. This has been an unprecedented time in our lives and the consistency and connection you are giving these kids is so incredibly valuable. I can’t than you enough for putting these kids first and giving them this connection. Keep up the amazing work! Thank you! & Thank you so much for setting up class for the kids today. They are all so out of sorts with this new schedule. Bode really enjoyed seeing you guys and some of his friends. I can also attest that he was in a totally different (and much better) mindset after working out. Seriously, this morning was amazing. THANK YOU!!!! - Michelle”
Jamie Hayhurst: I can’t say enough about Modern and how much they’ve helped my son. We’ve seen noticeable changes in his confidence, mood, stamina, sensory regulation, and so much more. And we’re truly impressed how they’ve risen to the occasion of online learning through the Covid crisis. We are so grateful for Modern and for the effort they’ve put into bringing these classes from the the real life mat in the dojang to the virtual mat. Thank you, thank you.
Chris Kelley: My son is in his third year of training at Modern Taekwondo and we could not imagine a better experience. The instructors are intelligent, skilled, thoughtful and have a remarkable ability to address each student individually. It's been very rewarding for my son to grow mentally, physically and emotionally with Master Gomes and his team.
Tchintcia Barros: Our two older sons, ages 8 and 6, have been attending Modern Taekwondo Center for four years. It has been one of the most enjoyable moments for them and us. They have grown emotionally, socially and physically because of it. We can't wait for our other kids to join in a few years.
Louise Watters: This is an amazing team of people! The principals they teach the kids starting with respect for their parents and peers. The importance of how they should be treated and treat others .The skills and Taekwondo training is tailored to each child’s age and ability. My son looks forward to his Taekwondo Classes each week. Ms Amy is an amazing teacher!!Thank you Modern Taekwando!
Molly Makrogianis: Just wanted to add to the well-deserved notes of thanks you are receiving during the school closure. My son was thrilled to participate in your on-line classes. Equally as excited to see Master Amy and his classmates! This was such a welcome piece of normalcy in an otherwise very abnormal week. Thank you for providing that. Your note regarding the payment considerations was incredibly kind and heartwarming. We are happy to be a part of this community.
Carlos Quinones: Absolute appreciation for MTC. I have two daughters who have been attending for the last two years and are always excited when it comes time for class. They enjoy the atmosphere, other students, and especially the instructors. I highly recommend the MTC to those looking for a highly skilled and motivated school for the Martial Arts.Carlos Q.
yann mounier: My daughter is enjoying taekwondo for the last past 3 years now she’s 6 year old.Best place and best teacher for learning .Yann
Trevor Farrington: Great training facility with wonderful instructors. Exactly what my son and I were in search of, give it a try!
Gerald Warren: MTC is a positive light in the Dorchester community. Master Gomes, Master Chris, and Ms. Amy train the students on physical and emotional levels. They give each student the confidence to believe in themselves and the skills they need to succeed in life via Taekwondo . My son is entering his 10th year of training and still displays the same passion for Taekwondo now as he did 10 years ago, which is wonderful testimony towards the instructors.
Betsy Crowley: Modern Taekwondo has been a positive experience for both of my sons, a 1st grader and my 4th grader who is training for his junior black belt. If you are looking for a place that places as much importance on respect, hard work and being a positive person as they do on the athleticism of the martial art, then don't look any further. I am so happy we took this journey with MTC.
Moi Blaton: Modern Taekwondo is the best! My daughter did taekwondo for 3 years at another school but we switched her to Modern because of the positive, nurturing and fun environment. She met with Master Gomes and said that he was very encouraging and she wanted to start this new taekwondo school immediately. We are very pleased with how professional and compassionate all the teachers are and how they create a positive, team building environment for all the kids. It's all about the kids and helping them grow, be strong and kind while learning taekwondo.
Natali Taylor: We have been an MTC family for a little over 2 years, and in that time all four of my children now attend classes at MTC. Excellent instruction, family friendly, inviting atmosphere, and always welcoming smiles. What more could a parent want for their children! Keep up the good work!

Boston TKD Academy & Fitness: what do users think?
ZOUBIR F: They are the best
Samantha Wu-Topolski: Boston TKD was kind enough to offer us 3 months payment plan. We pay 3 months ahead instead of 6 months.Although I do hope they are more flexible with the payment methods, but I understand their every business has their way to run the business and I respect that.Their teachers and the way they teach the kids is incredible. They are very good working with kids and help them to improve.

JS US Taekwondo: what do users think?
Leonard Yurovrizz: I go here for around 6 months now, and I really like, really interactive, and fun.
Matthew Kotler: I went to the place with my friend that learns there wanted to see the place (I even wanted to go there) but the guy said no.
Shan Lou: Our son started at this place at age 4. He totally loved it. The classes are very engaging and progressive. The teachers are kind and respectful. Grand master Jay has been very accommodating and communicative. We highly recommend it.
Hang Wilkinson: I love this place! My son, daughter and I all have classes here at JS US Taekwondo. Grandmaster Jay and his wife are very supporting welcoming, great teacher! Even now my daughter she can't make it because of school but my son and I are still going... I alway have a lot of fun when I am here! Thank you Grandmaster and his teams!
Moe Y: Very engaging and family friendly
JJ Kim: The best Taekwondo school ever!!! Master Lee and Staffs focus on each kid's martial arts technique and help the student develop their individuality. We find that the culture of this place provides wholesome nourishment for a student. Highly recommend this place!!
Maria Samson: I joined this martial arts studio in June of last year looking for a new challenge and exercise regimen. My daughter and I attend the adult/teen classes and we love them. I've never liked going to gyms, mostly because I become bored with them, but the classes at JS US Taekwondo are far from that. The classes are thoughtfully laid out with conditioning and stretching for the first 10-15 minutes and then moving on to the martial arts portion of the class. There are three instructors, Master J and two other black belt instructors, who are all very helpful, knowledgeable, and encouraging who make Taekwondo so fun. The classes require focus and can be challenging but I find because of this, coming to Taekwondo is one of the few places I can empty my mind and just focus on exercise. We've made friends with other students which has become part of the exceptional experience we've had at the studio. We couldn't be happier with our experience and cannot recommend this studio more.
Barak Cerf: Amazing personal connection alongside with proffesionalism!
Nina Jillian Salans: Great studio! They are very welcoming and spend a lot of one on one time with you - definitely recommend this place!
huili zhai: My little boy Lucas did the trial class when he was three and a half. He was not a budding athlete and he has always been a sensitive kid. I want him to be "tougher" both mentally and physically, so I signed him up for the trial class. No surprise, he cried a few times during his first two classes, and he was reluctant to join the other kids in class. The instructors was very patient with him and very friendly. Right after his trial classes, the school did a demo in Belmont town day. Lucas was so impressed with the performance and his interest in Taekwondo increases dramatically. Now he loves to go to the class, and he practices his taekwondo kicks a lot at home. He even teaches his plastic dinosaur toys some tawkwondo moves which was incredibly cute. He is inspired to become a black belt in the future. All the instructors in JS US Taekwondo are very kind and very patient. They are very serious about teaching the kids the right moves and they made the experience very fun for them at the same time. The facility is very clean, and there are plenty of parking spots. There are a lot of classes to chose from and the instructor to student ratio is great. I recommend any kids who want to learn some martial art to try this school.
Vic martins: i highly recommend this place, I was very well received by all, also you learn much more than just a new type of martial art , you learn how to get focus , about respect , and they are very attentive and disciplined, an awesome place to learn a new type of fight and be healthy with your mind and body.
Adam Weinstein: We have been sending our son here for the last year, and grand master J is fantastic with the kids.
Gaby Chiha: I’m a black belt and stopped training for 8 years but wanted to get back into it. I Found this Taekwon-do studio online and couldn’t be happier I came to this place. Would absolutely recommend trying! The grand master is so friendly, approachable, beyond knowledgeable, AND a great teacher. He has amazing teaching technique/strategy. Classes are well organized and fun! And everyone in my class is so friendly- we’re all from such different backgrounds.
F Freire: I do recommend this place . My son ( 3 yrs) is taking classes and love it. This is a great place to learn and have fun.The instructors are very patient and friendly. The experience has been excellent so far.
Robel Tesfagabir: js us taekwondo is the best place to start learning the art of taekwondo because they have a very well organized schedule to teach the students, especially for beginner's to build up their confidence, behaviour and how to approach to new people and situations. So I highly recommend anyone who wants to learn the art should check out that place.
Jenny Ahn: My kids (9yo daughter & 6yo son) just started taking classes here and are really loving it. The teachers are very enthusiastic and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place for any beginners.
Pan Am Railways: I attended an academy in Waltham for two years before switching to JS US Tae Kwondo. Then I realized how much I missed. This place is all about the pursuit of perfecting the art. The masters are dedicated to correct every flaw with high technical expertise. If you want to learn Tae Kwondo the right way, consider no further.
Natalia Suiza: My little girl Emma loved it ... I personally love the fact that the kids are separate by age instead of have them all mix together, Emma had a lot of fun and the instructors are very nice making her feel welcome.
jiaoshen888: Very good school. the trainer Jay is very experienced and kids love him.
Josh: Very interesting and exciting! The instructors are amazing and friendly. They are also patient and outgoing. Great place to learn, enjoy, and train the martial arts.
