Estragon Tapas: what do users think?
Giuseppe Tarantino: Probably the most traditional Spanish restaurant in Boston
Mike Rush: Tired restaurant with a menu that hasn’t changed in 10+ years. The ostrich feathers and Xmas lights have to go. The Friendly Toast-motif and overall vibe is very passé.
Jeffrey Tomaneng: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Dan Abrams: Went there during the restaurant week. The service is excellent and the food is tasty. highly recommended
Danay Falero: We were visiting from Fl, and was looking forward to this restaurant. I was disappointed with the whole experience. Hostess was rude, and food was super over price for what looked like microwave food. I asked for GAMBAS AL AJILLO which usually is a super high quality large shrimp, this with extra small :/, and the churros omg I can’t even begin to say, not even close to real Spanish churros.
Colin Callahan: Directed here by Eater, and my goodness I fell in love. Easy 10/10!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Bandita Joarder: Honestly the best tapas place in Boston.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
David Kaptzan: Recommended dishes CroquettesMore
Marek Michalak: Came here as a part of Dine Out Boston. We tried 9 dishes + desserts. The dished were decent, but nothing was outstanding. In our opinion the best were the Spanish Tortilla, the Seared Cod and Chocolate Mousse. Jamon croquetas and Patatas Bravas were a bit underwhelming and the cuttlefish a bit too chewy for our taste (though the garlic butter was nice). Overall would recommend this place to get a cocktail with your friends as the vibe and decor is really cool. The food however is just ok. Would rate it at 7/10.
Keyla DeHoyos: Honestly, wasn’t great. Extremely disappointing. It was like either the food had no flavor OR an overpowering amount, there was no happy medium with anything really. A strained cocktail still had some ice shards in it, not a fan. The entire staff had no enthusiasm on being there and it clearly reflected in the food and service. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because my stomach isn’t hurting, or at least I hope it doesn’t start to
Tibisay Zea: Great place to eat tapas in Boston. Good food, atmosphere and service.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Diane Hershfield: Lovely tapas in the South End Boston. Lively atmosphere with amazing service. Varied wine selection and creative drinks; good sangria!! Amazing blue cheese stuffed dates (my favorite), and the tapas toasts are a must try!! And DEFINITELY make reservations!!Parking: We took an Uber; in Boston it is much easier. Check parking availability before going.
steven lipson: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Carina Nyberg Washington: This place is a little gem hidden away on a not-so-busy street. Great cocktails (they will make custom drinks if you ask) and delicious tapas plates. Service was impeccable, and the ambience was too. Highly recommend!
Liz: Good food and friendly service. The environment was very chill, quiet and interior was pretty. My favorite was the seafood tapas and pork empanadas.-Gambas: pretty good with itself but make sure to request a bread. Bread was little cold but was no problem because it tied well with the shrimps and olive oils in gambas.-Seafood tapas: great portion for 2-3 people. Alot of seafoods inside with savory flavor of the rice. The bottom layer of the rice is crispy.-Pork Empanadas: three pieces. nothing special but I’d say it was classic.Overall, it was a great experience.
Michael Colantuoni: The food here was terrible. Service was even worse. The place was dirty. I had to go to CVS and buy Listerine and gum after I left that place just because the taste in my mouth was so bad I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. It’s the worst photo every in my entire life and I’ve eaten a lot of restaurants …. Disgusting.Parking: Good parking
Gregory J: Pretty good tapas.
Brycen Dowd: Food: 5/5More
Chad Moore-Castro: Great little place to get some tapas l, paella, and drinks.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
stephanie le: Waitress was rude and unfriendly. Acted as though we were a bother and imposition.

Alexander Maruszewski: I like the food, but $12 is a stretch for this minimal portion
Robert Gray: Charming and lively place. Very much like being in Spain. Festive atmosphere, big main room with warm colors and friendly, cozy feel. Food was authentic tapas and other dishes. Stand outs were the special pork skewer, sliced steak appetizer with sauce, shrimp in garlic sauce, octopus and potatoes, and breaded fried chorizo. Paella was surprisingly not awesome but everything else was memorable. Bartender was excellent shaking spicy margaritas, mojitos, and lots more. Enthusiastic friendly staff all covering for each other like one happy family. They have an agreement with Whole Foods down the street and restaurant will provide a dated flyer to put on your dash for free parking in big Whole Foods lot two minute walk away. Great idea. Excellent dessert menu too with plenty of choices.Vegetarian options: One column of menu is dedicated to vegetable options but there are plenty of meat options on the rest of the menu with some vegetable dishes sprinkled throughout (like vegetable paella).Parking: Get flyer for dashboard from restaurant staff then park just down street for free in big Whole Foods lot. Didn’t count spaces but guess 100 or so. Seemed like plenty since Whole Foods not too busy at night when restaurant is most active.
Johana Castellanos: Best tapas place! We love it! visit at least 3 times a month, also, very important, service is espectacular! They are the nicest!Recommended dishes Gambas Al Ajillo, Patatas Bravas, Choripan, Squid, Churros Con Chocolate, Calamares Fritos Con Aioli, Empanadas De Carne Cartesian De La Casa Y Nos Encanto, Paella Negra, Tabla De Quesos, Charcuterie Board, Entrana a La Parilla …More
Choklit Wastedd: I absolutely love this place. I wish that I found this hidden gem sooner. I definitely will be in indulging more often.!!! I’m huge on customer service, and they were extremely kind, the restaurant wasn’t overwhelmingly full, and we got us diligent service. The food was also presented really well and they checked in with us multiple times throughout our meal. It was a good vibe. #HighlyRecommend.
Елена Кара: Absolutely best tapas place in Boston! Never dissapoint, always consistent quality and taste!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Gambas Al Ajillo, Jamón Ibérico Y Manchego, Patatas Bravas, Choripan, Squid, Paella Valenciana, Churros Con Chocolate, Pudding, Calamares Fritos Con Aioli, Empanadas De Carne Cartesian De La Casa Y Nos Encanto, Paella Negra, Tabla De Quesos, Brie, Flan, Boquerones, Charcuterie Board, Paella Mariscada, Entrana a La Parilla, Albondigas De Cordero …More
Laura Raiff: Had a great early Valentine’s Day dinner! We were able to get a reservation a day ahead and when we arrived our table was ready immediately. Our server was very friendly and thorough. We got the mango mojito and white sangria both were excellent! Might be the best sangria i’ve had in boston! We split three tapas and one dessert which filled us up for reasonable price! Best of all everything came out of the kitchen so fast!!! Overall excellent service, tasty food, and lovely atmosphere. A real gem
Alejandro López: Raciones MUY escasas. Trato y calidad mejorables.
Zac Our: Great food and service! They just need to work on their cocktail menu a bit, however their sangria is awesome! We had another great experience here and our family has been coming here for years.Vegetarian options: They have a large selection of vegetarian tapas available.
Jin Song: Food was okay but the service staff excellent.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Juan Almagro: I have been here several times and consistently the restaurant is phenomenal. It is among the best if not the best restaurant in Boston. The food is reminiscent of Spain with great options. I highly recommend any of the Veggie dishes.Additionally, the service has been nothing but memorable. Great attention and low wait times. I truly cannot recommend this restaurant too much.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian but not vegan.
Reid Burkis-Oelerich: Loved this place. I've been to tapas bars in Spain and this place reminded me greatly of the cuisine there. All of the food was tasty - but I specifically recommend their empanadas/empanadillas (the meat as well as the cheese and artichoke). The place was busy, as expected, and we recommend making a reservation in advance to be sure that you are seated right away. The atmosphere was relaxed and the servers were on top of everything. I definitely plan on returning soon!
Michael Milo: Een van de beste taps restaurants die ik ken. Heerlijk!!! Aanrader!!!
Craig Gordon: Amazing all around

Rainbow Ciel: Love this place!! So good food with changria !! Wanted to have more & more forever but so expensive .. portion is too small for me but Bread with olive oil is so nice amazing! living cost in Boston NYC too high! Ignacio Perez: Barcelona definitely has the best Spanish wine selection in Boston. The food is good but still a little manufactured, especially in the case of the croquetas which sometimes come out still cold in the middle. The paella is not the most authentic but definitely tastyRecommended dishes Blistered Shishito Peppers, Patatas Bravas, Gambas Al Ajillo, Charcuterie Board …More
Cami Tussie: Vibe/ambiance of this place is incredible. A fantastic date night kind of place. Favorites were the mushroom, eggplant, and scallops. Basque cheesecake was definitely not as sweet as a NY style, though the texture was amazing. It was my first time trying basque cheesecake and it was not even close to sweet enough for me, wouldn’t order again, but get it if you like desserts that aren’t as sweet!
Nicholas Manning: If you’ve not had real tapas in Spain or do not have decent taste, this place should be fine for you, if not, then I would avoid the food and just try the wine. Fun atmosphere though.
Sarah Robertson: Refusing to serve me a drink because my ID was expired. Showed multiple other forms of ID and still refused. Was told by manager that teens frequent the South End Barcelona using fake IDs. I am 26 years old as stated on my ID not 16. Extremely poor customer service from bartenders.
Doreen de Vries - van Acken: Great food, a little overpriced if i compare the taste to European food but for being in amerika, they are close to spanish tapasFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Carlos Ditren: Love it!
Jake Rosenberg: Had reservations for 6:15. Confirmed I was coming. Showed up at 6:32 and was told I would have to go to the back of the line as a walk in. Rude customer service and did not honor our reservation.

Elisa Mao: Tasty, good cocktails but to avoid on week end nightsFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rebecca Jennings: At Barcelona and it has been amazing. I visit the Atlanta location often but they do not have Elizabeth. Found out that the company trained her for a Manager role and I think it was the best decision they could have made. She should write a book on the service industry and how to do it right. I am thankful for the experience and her time at this location.
Jorge Santos: Had dinner at Barcelona for the last night of my business trip and I'm so glad we did. We all shared several tapas and everything was amazing. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful, highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available and the ones we tried were delicious
Brian B: Great vibe. Seasoning needs work.

Toro: what do users think?
Ida Li: Heard about this restaurant from a friend! Great place for having conversations over a light meal and some drinks.Food overall was delicious. Portion size are small particularly because it's a Spanish tapa style meant to be shared amongst the table.Atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend getting a seat outdoors for the summer. It's much roomier and comfortable. You can definitely also go in the winter but it'll be really cold! It's a bit on the pricier side but it's a nice treat.
Owen Tredennick: Asado de Huesos was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so mix it up!Will be back again and again…and again.
Caitlin McPheron: Authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant. They offer Iberian ham, manchego cheese, bocadillos among other Spanish staples. Great Spanish wine selection as well. We ordered asado de huesos, jamón ibérico, queso de cabra, and maíz asado for two people and it was plenty. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.
Dustin Maneethai: Excellent tapas served fresh. The paella was definitely a star but it's quite filling. For two I would recommend the paella and perhaps 3 tapas dishes. The service was excellent. In fact our waters never seemed to drain and we couldn't figure out why.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Paella Valenciana, Tapas …More
Rahma Hida: One of the best tapas places in Boston! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious. The atmosphere and ambience is just right.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Cristian Suarez: Because of how good the tapas was, I’m giving it a four star. But considering how low-key trash the drinks were, I’d give it a limp 3 star. Fun atmosphere though.
Chingsung Chang: Tables are a bit small. Food is good, but be prepared to spend a decent amount. Overall I do think it is a bit on the pricier side, but there's enough on the menu that's unique. The paella was a tad disappointing though, especially for a Spanish placeFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas Fried …More
Jing Wu: Worst Manager!!! Waitlist shows around 45 minutes, but We have waited for 90 mins with no calls or messages. When we asked them, they said they had sent the message, which we didn’t receive it. The solution from manager is waiting another 120 minutes. The most ridiculous solution ever heard.
Alejandra Ortiz: We shared 4 plates: mushrooms with the egg, shishito peppers, shrimps, churros and flan. Everything was good and the choice of drinks and cocktails too. Bartenders were very attentive and recommend us good drinks. I highly recommend the place for the ambiance, latin music, drinks and food plus the excellent service!Recommended dishes Churros Chocolate Sauce, Gambas Al Ajillo …More
Austin: Food was amazing, Stephanie was even better. 11/10

chad svastisalee: Toro is uniquely located on Washington Street in the South End. One thing to know... fresh tapas are always A-Mazing and sharing with your family and besties make meals memorable. Just eating Spanish food because you know it’s delicious is a treat in itself. Toro is a must place to check out. The best way to tapas is to order a little bit of everything, and if you come across something you don’t love, that’s ok. Toro customized our menus with our son's name and boy was he surprised! Sit in their heated outdoor patio or inside the bustling hot spot and you'll be in good hands either way. Don’t let the crowd or wait for a table ruin the whole experience. The local beer selection is good, paired well with our tapas. We started with batatas bravas, calamari with shishito peppers and a well thought charcuterie board to start. Every pinxtos was delicious. Ostros Escabeche, island creek Oysters we're swimming in flavor and although we thought the Empanadas were a bit over fried, they were still tasty inside. We shared two rounds of Risotto de Longostos, it was devine and our boys favorite. The attention to detail to seasoning, plating and staff are on point at Toro.
amora nadia: Plenty vegan optionsRecommended dishes Corn on the Cob, Churros Chocolate Sauce …More
Steven M: Hometown favorite and most delicious food.we come here at least once a weekHighly recommended
Kunal G: It’s a great restaurant. More seafood choices than other meat, great service.Recommended dishes Fried, Tapas, Churros Chocolate Sauce …More
julesss1: No regards for allergies and dietary restrictions- served two dishes with allergens after clearly stating otherwise.

Camilo Roman Cepeda: Lively, but not super crowded at 830p on SaturdaySat at the bar with a colleague and enjoyed wine and tapas.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tapas, Jamón Ibérico, Calamares Fritos …More
Gal Orman: Over priced, I don't recommend, food is fine, nothing that can justify the price, atmosphere not fun( I don't know who Shan Shan Go is)
Niklas Hagemann: Good wine and croquettes
Tobias Herrmann: Probably would go here for the drinks and atmosphere, not for the food. Most of the tapas are ok taste wise, but a bit basic for the price. The potatoes were one of the best I've ever, but that was kind of it. Desserts are more savory than sweet which was unexpected. Service was below average, with overall long waiting times to be seated and served, although the staff was very friendly. Drinks are quite good though.
ShanShan Guo: Dietary restrictions: I spoke to Deborah Hansen (chef/owner) about catering a small event. I asked if she could accommodate several specific food allergies, and she replied that she would be able to accommodate them and was available to cater the date of the event. I then sent over the list of food we wanted to order and asked if any contained those specific allergens, and she replied no. But when I looked at the catering menu closely, I noticed several of the food did actually contain some of the allergens. I asked Deborah to double check again, letting her know that we were okay with the presence of certain allergens so long as we knew which dishes they were in to flag for our guests. Instead of apologizing for not actually taking the time to carefully review the list, Deborah responded by saying she could no longer cater our event. Having food allergies is tough, and I understand not all restaurants have the capability to cater to dietary restrictions. But it is different when you say you can accommodate specific food allergies, but then not actually take it seriously enough to check, and when called out for it, just decide not to cater. Given that this came after almost a week of going back and forth and after receiving reassurances from the chef/ owner herself that she prioritized the safety of our guests and that the allergies could be accommodated, it was truly disappointing. If you are concerned about food allergies, I recommend you go elsewhere.
Libby vanBuskirk: Absolutely wonderful food, cocktails and ambiance. Highly recommend for a date night or a meetup with a friend.Recommended dishes Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, Tapas, Tortilla, Fried Pigs Ear, Bonecrusher, Jamón Ibérico …More
Rommel: Food was ok, but in the scale of the Spanish restaurants in Boston and surrounding cities, it's not the best. Atmosphere is nice. I had a first bad impression as the glasses seem to have had some soap/dirt still on, but they changed them quick. Underwhelming antipasto. Lamb chops had quite a bit of fat, more so than meat. Whatever meat it had was good and well made. Service was good! And the wine selection as well. If you are in the Brookline area and don't want to travel far, this may be a place to pick, but don't have high expectations.
Nina Kitadai: Great food! Tapas with plenty of food
Beth Noll: Food is amazing as always. Reina the bartender is hard at work creating cocktails with interesting and innovative flavor profiles.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jolleen Filio: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Emma Peng: I didn’t like the paella, it was duck wings, and there wasnt any seafood in the paella. Duck wings was insanely dry and chewy. Rice was undercooked. We spent way too much ($39) for what the food is worth.
Carlos Molano: Not good. I do not understand the hype. I suppose only come here for the tapas ignore the main entrees the paella is subpar. Surprised this is so highly rated.
Johnny Vilas: Minuscule tapas, poor service (very slow), and they do not take American express. Inside so noisy, bad acoustic building I guess, you cannot have a decent conversation. Run away
Francisco Gago: Te tapas weren't bad, in fact I really enjoyed them. However, calling the "rice with things" that you serve, it's unacceptable. Who ever thought to put leeks and cauliflower in the vegetarian "paella"? The two ingredients do not EVER go near rice in any true Spanish paella. There are many other ingredients to chose from.
Rosita Rodriguez: We recently visited Boston for a second opinion of a diagnosis. We came out of the hospital feeling grateful and decided to celebrate going to dinner. We were greated by a polite waitress, ordered a drink and appetizer. While waiting to get our order taken they brought us some bread..While eating some bread I laid the menu over the table, just then a lady not sure who she was but she came over and took our menu's and said to me "since covid we don't use our menu's as placemats" I was not using the menu as placemat. I was waiting to get our orders taken. We stayed and ate because we had a long drive back home and we weren't going to let anyone ruin our day it was not a pleasant experience. Also my husband and I got our dinner and about 20minutes later my daughter got hers. We do not recommend this restaurant to anyone!!
Brett W: We ordered the half rack of lamb ribs with potatoes. The rack was small and fatty, and the potatoes were actually fries; it was underwhelming for $39. A glass of white wine we ordered was fine. The Sippin’ Seda cocktail was the highlight for me and I’d recommend it if you enjoy gin.
Courtney DAvanzo: Service was good. Food alright
Mic D'Avanzo: Service and atmosphere were good, but some of the food was a bit disappointing, certainly not at the level of some other Spanish restaurants in Boston.

Better make a reservation before you go.If you're lucky enough and haven't made reservations, you can sit at the bar at Dali, a restaurant located in Somerville, MA, which is my favorite place in the Boston area. The drinks are really well done with a beautiful presentation, and they taste amazing. The tapas, including Lomito, Pulpo, Mushrooms, and Tortilla Española, were all delicious. I would definitely recommend this place forever. Additionally, all the servers were very friendly and hard workers, providing excellent service with an A1+ attention.

Casa B Tapas and Cocktail & Rum Bar: what do users think?
Nermin Kibrislioglu Uysal: We only had drinks. Nobody liked their drinks in our party of 6 people. Coctails were served in plastic glasses.
Indira Pal: The food was bland, greasy, and tasteless - similar to economy class plane food. We ordered gnocchi, lamb burger, tres leches, and plantain pizza - everything was disappointing.I love Spanish food and had high hopes but they were dashed. Service was quick and friendly!
Aran Nathanson: Paper plates and plastic cups? The food is ok. Dry maduros and arroz con pollo was bland. The lentil burger was interesting.
Laurie Brunner: Ate there recently with a small group for a special occasion, and it did not disappoint! Everything looked so good that we ordered too much, and the leftovers made a good meal the next day. Potent cocktails, too.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu, clearly marked.Dietary restrictions: There are several gluten-free dishes on the menu, clearly marked.
Dimitris Mylonas: Food was good (nothing special but good) but too freaking expensive! Tiny paper plates for $15-20 each. I mean cooome ooon
Gina Michael: Food & drinks were delicious! Some of the food just seemed a bit overpriced for the quantity but most of the plates seemed reasonable for the quality. The outdoor seating was nice too with some privacy panels from the street.
Michael Gander: Fire latin tapas. Get the tostada if you like melted cheese. Passion fruit mojito is also amazing.
Nemil Perez: I first came here in like 2013/2014 and it was incredible. Beautiful aesthetic and fantastic food.Came here recently and I felt so sad. Food was super pricey for a few bites, which were delicious bites, but served on paper plates kind of ruined the overall feel for me. Drink was good.Overall, I just felt let down. This was my favorite restaurant for such a long time.Unfortunately, I doubt I'd return.Choripan had incredible flavor though, if you do decide to go.
jawad iqbal: Food was mediocre at best, does not deserve such a high rating. Something about having a $14 drink in a plastic cup feels wrong
Alex Sim: After work drinks and tapas with some of the US dream team, great place!Spanish Caribbean fusion cooking and cocktail and rum bar.Great use of plantain even as pizza base!Take care with the cocktails they are so delicious-passion fruit mojito for example! We had a great evening, great service nice to be outside on their terrace. Turned out slightly expensive, in six $550 of which $180 on drinks and 20% service....but we had fun and were there for 3 hours without feeling we needed to move on. Thats value for money.Suggest you check their menu before you go casabrestaurant.com,eclectic!
Marion Davis: The perfect spot for a date or a nice time with friends. Delicious, creative food, great cocktails, beautiful ambiance (sadly temporarily sacrificed to COVID), and excellent service. We love this restaurant and chose it hands-down for our intimate wedding ceremony, too. A Union Square gem. Definitely try the mushrooms, the skewers and the "Puerto Rican lasagne," but really, you can't go wrong. Desserts also look amazing.Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetarian and vegan options. My favorites are the mixed mushrooms and the crispy fried Brussels sprouts.
Katie F.: The staff were absolutely amazing, five full stars there... ambience was also great, and the drinks were awesome. But the quality and quantity of food was just not good for the price. Some tapas were like counter serve cafeteria food for $10
Han J (HJ): This used to be a good place until something happened to them during covid(?) but I am seriously disappointed after coming back once after covid. Don’t be mislead by the high google ratings…they are all from pre pandemic
Rishi Krishnan: Really poor value, lukewarm food on paper plates and was super expensive.
psuarez: Food was amazing. Everything was just the right portion and delicious. Service was attentive and quick. The drinks hit the spot!Dine in: Yes …More

Justin Lee: Casa B used to be a chic spot. But now it is very pricey for the quality of experience.Paper plates and plastic cups for mediocre cocktails. And drinks and food generally seemed to have gotten worse since COVID.My partner also got food poisoning.
Eli Nunes: Spent $200 for dinner for 2. They served me flan in a Tupperware and gnocchi that was dry and cold in the middle. Cannot recommend this place to anyone, unfortunately.
Chris Butler: Very fun and creative tapas and cocktails. Funky little place. Shrimp with Yucca was awesome.. Menu is WAY overpriced. Food is disappointingly served on cheap paper and cardboard plates.
Casey O'Brien: The food was just not good for the price. I’ve had small portion meals before at restaurants with similar price points, and I was incredibly disappointed by the quality. Everything felt fried, covered balsamic vinaigrette, and just flavorless. The quality of the ingredients wasn’t there. We were also served on paper plates with plastic forks, which diminished the aesthetic (I’m sure there was a reason for this so don’t want to knock them for it). But I will not be coming back.

Anthony Cozier: Tres Gatos was on point tonight. The vibe is boisterous and hip. The cocktails kitty got claws and Pom cat went down waaaay too smooth. The three cheeses were amazing but the steak tartare, sea scallops and mussels were out of this world. Finished off the night with a 3rd round of drinks and the Churros con Chocolate. Service was also on point as they kept checking that we were good. I promise you I will be back! Go here when visiting Boston or a rando night out! You will not regret it.Parking: Small public parking lot close by

Benjamin Trigani: Great tapas and drinks in the Jamaica Plain area. A bit pricey, but you know what you're paying for going in. Definitely will go again.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Paella is great!
Alissa Nowak: There was a miscommunication and we were seated at a high top with a high chair for our 3 year old, unfortunately the high chair didn't reach the table. The manager was so sweet and apologetic, and she did a great job of figuring out a solution quickly. My toddler loved the meatballs. The other couple we went with is vegetarian, and there were plenty of delicious options for us to share. My husband and I loved the steak tartar. We will definitely be back, the service was fantastic and they did a great job making sure we were happy.
Klaus Earl Loft: This one of those places where it just works.... great bar crowd great staff... and the tapas are just perfect for this place. Jea Kim: Nestled in a quiet JP neighborhood, Tres Gatos is a good place to enjoy tapas in a causal and relaxing atmosphere. It is housed in an old building, and the retro bookstore decorations set an uncomplicated setting that goes along well with the theme of the restaurant. On my recent visit, I got to try several pinchos and tapas, and most of the dishes were fairly good. I liked that they didn’t over-season their food, and seared sea scallops, Brussels sprouts, and chickpea fritters were some of the standouts. The playful integration of citrus in the Brussels sprouts was particularly enjoyable, and the Greek-inspired chickpea fritters were also very interesting. Paella was the least favorite part of the meal as it lacked the socarrat-like caramelization and crunch.Overall, a solid tapas experience with a couple of interesting dishes. Service was great throughout our meal, and while I probably wouldn’t travel from far to try them again, it was certainly interesting to learn what the tapas scene is like in the Boston suburbs.
Alexander Ostrow: Avoid.

Martha Schick: I love Tres Gatos - wonderful food, plus a record and bookstore in the back! We had shishito peppers, brussels sprouts, albondigas, scallops, and tortilla espanola, plus the chocolate creme brulee. It was all delicious and made for a great meal for two. The cocktails were also lovely, I'll definitely have the Hawthorne again next time, if it's still around.
Mon Liu: I rarely give 5 stars unless something keeps me coming back, so 4 it is. This place had succeed to hold a trendy vibe - The street is quiet, you walk up, open the door and wow it's a whole new market in there! when you walk in to this 1st level apartment-like space, its homey and party like at the same time.I like that The theme is - Tapas. Small plates, peculiar ingredient combinations like escargot on bone marrow spread on handmade toast should fit for an award. There are plates that I ask "where is the pasta to these meatballs" lol.. I love the presentation nonetheless.Appetizer is sampling of choice of 3, or 5, charcuterie boards - chicken liver, and more.. Main dishes are also tapas. Small, this dishes I find it pricey at low around $16+, high at $27 - $33 per dish. Probably won't visit on a regular basis but will definitely be back for a good round of the unique dishes when my pockets feel fuller.
C.S. Gymnastics: Had a great time here - 10 out of 10 food and service❤❤
samira yahyayeva: I love the space and food. But last time, I had to wait 30 mins after reservation time and was informed that no one was leaving, so not today

London Management: A great and unexpected vibey treat for a Friday night in JP.The veggie food was 🏻, the mushroom soup, the lentils, and the vegetable paella were fantastic. The wine is good, and spending an hour or so browsing vinyl in the shop behind the restaurant was a sweet little added bonus.10/10

Atlántico: what do users think?
Mariana Feigelman: Uno de los mejores lugares en Boston! Comida y atención 10 puntos!
Joohee Muromcew: Lovely upscale neighborhood spot, beautiful interiors and great energy. This is one of our go-to's for oysters and a cocktail or date night dinners. The oysters are very good, and they often have great specials on those. Our most recent dinner was the clams, meatballs, mushrooms, and prawns with lots of wine, all at the bar, which is a fun place to eat and people-watch. My negative feedback is that we had an awkward situation with the host this past weekend. We saw on OpenTable that there was plenty of availability so we just walked over from a couple blocks away. The host told us they were totally booked for another 90 minutes. So, we left, and I checked OpenTable again. Seeing there were tables available, I just booked two seats at the bar (15 minutes out). We came back and let him know we made a reservation. He got defensive and shook his tablet at us to show us his OpenTable interface. We felt really unwelcome and uncomfortable. Two seats opened up at the bar and his colleague said we'd be seated in a minute. Then, the host seated another couple there. When we asked him about it, he shrugged. Anyway, we were eventually seated and had a lovely meal and wine. Everyone has a bad day, and perhaps the host was having one, but FOH should take care of their neighbors in a more gracious way. There was a very large girls' night party in the middle of the room that night, and it seemed to swallow up their attention.

Dustin S: They add a 20% tip into the bill (without stating that they do so on the menu). In order to remove it you literally have to talk to a manager. Tipping should be based on the quality of service, and having to talk to a manager in order to tip anything less than 20% is a waste of everyone's time and Atlantico should be ashamed for adding it in without an option to tip less.
Proddy Sukcharoen: My favorite seafood tapas place in Boston ever🐠-Atlantico. Each dish is uniquely crafted for the best gastronomy experience with its finest ingredients. The fish, in particular, are so fresh they do not have any smell at all!!What I ordered:Hamachi Crudo. Flash grilled hamachi, roasted pineapple, celery root, pickled Fresno chilisErizo De Mar. Maine sea urchin and sherry butter toastOstra Del Dia. Local oyster selection, salsa brava & citrusPulpo. Galician octopus, piquillo peppers, white asparagus salad, mint, salsa negraDark Chocolate Mousse
Catherine Collins: We had a lovely dinner on Saturday night. The smoky mule was delicious, the seared calamari and ceviche were very flavorful, and the spice and texture of the paella were irresistible...also loved the chocolate mousse with hazelnuts! Look forward to returning.Vegetarian options: The beets were deliciousParking: Found street parking on a rainy Saturday night
Renado Renalo: They will force you pay tips 20% and kitchen fee!Had a good meal last year, but their quality dramatically dropped for unknown reasons. You could definitely get better food elsewhere with much reasonable price range.

Timothy Higgins: Had one drink at the bar (which was actually very good), and was automatically charged an additional 23% on my bill - a 3% “admin fee” and a 20% gratuity. I would have left the gratuity anyway, but I hate when restaurants add these fees with little or no disclosure, apart from fine print on the back of a menu.
Cassandra: So delicious I forgot to take pictures! We shared the patatas bravas, pulpo, mejillones, & gambas as a late night meal. Service was excellent and drinks were great! Would recommend for a date night.
Patrice Oliveira: Had dinner at Atlantico tonight, served by Enrique. Absolutely excellent meal, great environment and service, food was so tasty and drinks were great. Would recommend to anyone in Boston looking for an upscale seafood meal! Thank you for the great evening.
Balint Karosi: An overpriced taco bar, not worth the effort. On a Wednesday night we were the only customers, for a reason. There are small plates of traditional tacos for $15. The place called Barcelona a few blocks away is much more traditional and less expensive.
Juanfer Tattoo: Thanks to Walter and Milena! Good recommendations and really good juicy paella Atlántico, I love the spicy on this socarrat 👌
crisbula11: We went for a Saturday lunch. The hamachi had a fade taste. pineapple was supposed to be roasted but it was not. I suppose the pineapple slices were from a can, bc they were a little juicy and were too sweet. Nicely arranged in the plate though. The paella was burned and left us a bitter taste in the mouth. The rice had too many pieces of chorizo for my taste. Nice place. Prices are reasonable. Plates look good.
spring schoellkopf: The best tenderest octopus you’ll ever eat! Wonderful service. Exciting menu and superior food.

We shared 5 dishes to start - fried boneless thighs, fried pickles, short ribs, fries with crawfish, and the biscuits. Wow the biscuits! It was plenty of food for 4 adults but ordered the wedge salad and fresh mozzarella while we sipped the rest of our drinks. Food comes out pretty quickly which was awesome because we very very hungry.

Food portions are fine if it is one plate per person and sharing a plate (1.5 plates total)The honey biscuits are to die for, chicken and waffles are amazing (make sure you like the sauce before throwing it on your food). The biscuits and gravy is intense a bit in case you want to share it with someone. Beignets are to die for!!!Drinks are spectacular!!
Rachel Barich: Amazing food and good service in a cool groovy atmosphere!Tapas style dining so small plates but 3-4 plates will leave you very full and satisfied on some amazing flavours! We ordered the amazing honey biscuits (4 to a basket) and come with pimento or smoked cinnamon butter, crispy Nashville chicken thigh (3 to order) and perfect amount of spice, and the crispy salmon which was to die for! It came with amazing roasted cauliflower over a sweet potato puree and toasted almonds and capers! Extensive cocktail and of course bourbon menu.100% get here if you are in Boston!
