Richard W: Avoid the krembo. The meringue contained so much sugar that the sugar recrystallized, resulting in a gritty texture.The garlic french toast is interesting. It lacks garlic flavor or a custardy interior, but the thick-cut fluffy bread entirely coated with sesame is great as-is. The tomato puree added much-needed tartness. The salad greens tossed in lemon juice could use an actual salad dressing, though.The halva latte is nutty and honeyed. Delicious with savory food; too much with a sweet food.
Heather G: Very busy, so possibly part of the problem. The service was very "short and sweet" "what can I get you, ok, Here". The drink was mediocre not sure what all the hype was about. We asked for it to be "here" and we got to go cups. Only open seating was by the kitchen/bathrooms and it smelled terrible. Maybe worth giving a 2nd shot if we visit again, but wouldn't go out of my way. There is many other options in town go try!

Luke Barbarich: Had a pretty terrible experience here. My wife was experiencing mornings sickness and just wanted toast and bacon. I was going to order the salmon, egg, and avocado sandwich and coffee. When I asked for the toast and bacon, the checkout person said that it wasn't possible to order that and that I'd have to buy a full meal in order to get toast or bacon. I wasn't even able to order it as a side. We spoke to the manager as well and they were both fairly rude. I don't understand how it's possible to make both toast and bacon but be unable to sell it separately? We ended up walking away because of how rude they were and how unaccomadating they were for a pregnant woman.

Andrea McDermott: Delicious. Ordered the traditional shakshuka (my fav item of everything), the egg Parmesan and prosciutto toast, chocolate croissant, an iced coffee, and an iced matcha. I usually have only ever come in for a chocolate croissant and tea snd take it to go or read at the window. But this time, ordered actual breakfast and it was SO good. You order in line and they bring you your food via table marker/ number system. definitely will be back. Matcha was unsweetened. Everything is superb. For a sit down and eat, there’s a pretty high turnover rate & people are in and out. The place was clean, busy, and staff was professional and kind. One of my fav spots for breakfast in seaport.

It is served on their fresh baked, house-made ciabatta.My mouth is watering thinking about it! My recommendation is to spend the $3 up charge & add prosciutto. It makes the sandwich. Thank me later!Their pastry and bakery selection is out of this world. It is also very aesthetically pleasing. I always like to grab a fresh, flaky, buttery croissant to finish off a good meal. The croissants are MASSIVE. Very flaky yet moist and flavorful on the inside.You can enjoy them without butter or jam- they’re delicious on their own. It is very hard, if not impossible to find a place that makes a good, genuine croissant.The cold brew is also phenomenal. I recommend pairing it with a sweet treat, like their Vanilla Sugar Donut! I am not a daily coffee Consumer, but I do love myself a good quality cold brew.The order is packed perfectly and securely for takeout and delivery. I’ve done it both ways and the food was perfect both times.Tatte is one of my favorites here in Boston. I always know I’m going to be happy with whatever I order. ray dalere: ok, so here is my experience at this old colony and the harrison street locations...they are both extremely sloooow. i dont know if this is always the case but my first time trying tatte and my first experience was with a friend at the harrison st. locale. i joined him in line and the servers were just casually chatting and what appeared to be milling around with a line that was several people deep. it wasnt until the people in front of us began complaining they were not attended to that put the servers in gear...a slow gear at that, but at least they began working.my next experience was at the old colony location. again 3 service people behind the counter casually milling around and this time i walked in with no one in front of me. i waited about 3-5 minutes before interrupting their conversation to get service.i am hopeful that this is not common staff practice taught by this organization, but honestly, at the $70+ for the product i selected the pastries not so superior that could merit such a lack of customer service.i wont be rushing back to spend my money at tatte, for sure.

A Gadre: Visited Tatte Bakery and Cafe on Boylston Street in Boston yesterday. It was crowded but we managed to get a place to sit. Alex Schubert: Tatte Bakery is a wonderful spot for a delicious brunch or a quick coffee and pastry. VolcanicIsAsian: This place surpassed my expectations on what a whole grain quality cafe truly represents. Exquisite coffee. Divine Danishes. Truly a cafe that understands what the pinnacle of cafe service and quality should be about. Only concerning thing was this one Ice Spice looking worker. While taking my order, he kept on muttering words that sounded like "Renegade" and "Red Shrek"? I looked into it and I cannot say what I've found publicly because once you're in, you're in. So all I've got to say is he is very handsome and makes me want to come back everyday truly exceptional service and quality in goods 8/10 would come back again. Nicoletta Delos: I want to have my wedding at Tatte bakery, the food is absolutely amazing and I became hooked on the sparkling matcha lemonade drink. All locations are always crazily crowded and can barely catch a table to eat, but the food is still worth it. My fiancé and I always travel from Philly just to eat here on the weekends.
Jordan: The guy at the counter seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Chocolate croissant was very good, buttery and flakey, but the coffee was nothing special. Fairly expensive.

Pastries and breads are very good, we got the plain brownie and dark chocolate mousse cake with cortado’s - all excellent. And the service was great. Visited several other branches in Boston and quality is surprising constant, a big plus for a chain. Loved it and highly recommend.

Liz: Had their strawberry cream cheese cake.It was so good- not with bread but mostly cheesy mousse that is not too sweet but more like yogurt taste. I liked how it was creamy. The shape doesn’t stay because of the creamy texture so would recommend storing in somewhere cold before eating.

The Bacon, Potato and Mushroom Shakshuka paired exquisitely with their Winter Latte (made with a squash puree that added a very nice sweet touch at the back of every sip). If you are in the area you have to pop in.Bathrooms are clean, staff was great, and portion sizes were filling.
Lexie Gibbs: Came here on a recommendation of our hotel receptionist and it. Was. SCRUMPTIOUS! I wasn't sure I would love what I ordered as I'm usually a sweet breakfast person but this was absolutely amazing! I ordered the Croque Madame and a large latte (came out to around $25 after tip) and my only regret is that I live so far away and will only be able to experience it again in memory. Definitely worth the hype.

Jayla Phillips: The pastries and food here are beyond delicious. Although I think the prices may be high, I fully believe it can be worth it. As a gluten free person, there are so many options in every category of food to eat. Everything was tasty and the staff were very helpful if you had any questions. This specific location was less crowded but I have been to others that have been much busier.Dietary restrictions: Tattes does offer quite a few gluten free options, you just have to look at the signs for each pastry or ask a worker and they'll help you!

Shivi D: The chicken salad pita was so flavorful for a bakery. I tried the lavender latte which was great. This is a cute busy bakery but you can sit alone or take out your food and drink. I dont have a picture but the pistachio croissant was so amazing! Do try that.

Seb T: Had pastries and coffee takeout. Staff was kind, place is very nice and the terrace very sunny in the morning. Coffee was very good. Pastries were good at best : pistachio croissant and monkey bread chocolate were good but lacked taste. Croissant is American style, not French. The sour cherry and almonds scones were also good but also lacked a bit of taste. Good enough to go back and try something else but definitely not a 5 stars. Can’t compare Tatte to other small artisanal bakeries I experienced elsewhere.

kim e. powell: 3.9 | nice spot, I got the soup and a panini. the fig was rlly nice on the panini. it's quite a pungent flavor so it's not for everyone. the brie adds a bit of a funk to the bite as well, but after the shock of first bite [it's a burst of flavor], I was into it. the soup was quite flavorful. solid spot, with great ambiance and tasty desserts. I tried the lemon meringue tart and it was delicious. I'd go back!
