Dr. Tonn (Dr. Tonn): I have been a customer at this branch for over a decade and can honestly say that I have never had a good experience anytime I have to go inside this branch.I called yesterday to see what the process was for using their night-drop deposit box. I was told to go inside the branch to get a key for it. I went in the next day and waited 20 minutes to speak with customer service rep, who in the middle of working with me decided to go help some old white lady instead, while I sat at his desk and waited. Then, I had to go pay my meter because I didn't know it was going to take so long.When I got back, the rep told me that I actually didn't need a key. I could just make the drop anytime. They could have told me that on the phone to save me time and meter money. I'd put an angry emoji face here if I could...

I was the only person in the bank. By the way they were out of brochures. I like this bank very very much. I have a sixty plus checking account with special benefits. Free safety box and a gift card.
Curtis Yu: Came on a Sunday—place was clean and spacious. The customer service rep Steven was friendly and funny. They let me stay 20 minutes pass closing time to wrap up the task. Wouldn’t have had time Mon-Fri to go, very thankful for the customer service!

Andrew H: What's going on with this specific branch and it's manager. Does TD bank take anyone off the street for a leadership role? This is by far my worst experience.I came into the bank to wire funds for major purchase. I specifically asked for an individual but unfortunately the individual was unavailable.The manager, by the way reeking of cheap perfume and very tight clothing, quite unprofessional in my opinion - this is a bank, not a club, proceeded to assist me.The individual I initially asked for help came and what transpired left me with a sour taste. The manager was condescending to her subordinate and it made me quite uncomfortable. Though it may have been her subordinate's first opportunity to perform a wire, this is an excellent lesson to go through the steps.Instead, the manager belittled her subordinate and I subsequently left and performed the wire transfer at another bank.Good leaders possess self-awareness, garner credibility, focus on relationship-building, have a bias for action, exhibit humility, empower others, stay authentic, present themselves as constant and consistent, become role models and are fully present. The manager at this branch does not possess any of these attributes. Thus, I will be closing my account and informing my colleagues of such a sour experience. I don't tolerate bullying, neither should TD.
Christian Fernandez: I was given bad information from a nearby souvenir shop that TD Bank sold stamps. When I asked the teller she laughed in my face saying, "We don't sell stamps! Ha, what do you think we are?" She gestures around, "Do we look like we have stamps?!". She tells me where the nearest post office is and I walk off.This was the most unprofessional one minute conversation I've had with a bank teller.

Adria Gonzalez: Is this place a bank or a tow company? Because they spend a majority of the day just towing cars out of their parking lot instead of doing actual bank business. Justin I think is the manager is a joke, this bank went way down after Clayton left, he was great and really understood what being a neighborhood bank really meant. Not the group of grumpy individuals they have in there now. Everyone is just miserable and either avoids eye contact when you enter so they don’t have to help you or looks annoyed if they accidentally do. Honestly I’m just waiting for the day when someone just goes off on them for being overly rude or towing their car while they are in the bank. Once it became clear they want nothing to do with neighborhood people I took my banking business elsewhere and it’s for the best. Avoid at least this branch at all costs.

Unfortunately this time it was my own neighborhood TD.At about 2:25 on 12/1/19, my elderly mother and I walked into the South Boston TD branch located at the corner of D st and W. Broadway to have documents notarized. On the way to see the person in the office with glass walls we were stopped in our tracks by a girl at the teller counter who insisted we "must stop at her counter location before speaking to the girl in the glass office", [Assistant Manager Jennifer Y. Zhang]In an attempt to keep this post short, I was extremely annoyed by the comet, it was abrupt and very disturbing. I have been banking at this branch for a number of years without having to deal with aggressive and unprofessional TD staff.Note: My experience at this store has always been exceptional until this day.The distinct difference that I noticed on this day was TD upper management relocated the highly respectable and highly qualified Clayton Rogers Assistant Vice President, and Store Manager who they replaced with a no good, unprofessional Assistant Manager, prompting this unpleasant and unfortunate review.If customer service is a concern to THE TD BOARD OF DIRECTORS then please note, both Assistant Manager Jennifer Y. Zhang and the individual behind the counter failed to do their job and deserve to be demoted or transferred out to another store. I will be closing my accounts and bring my business elsewhere.Customers expect and deserve a high degree of professionalism and courteous service every time they step into a TD store, which I did not receive on this day."The Bank Where People Make the Difference." Ashley Tenczar Curran: The distance of TD Bank ATMs that are full service is regrettable. Since I review places based on handicap accessibility, I can say that this is definitely a bank where we handicapped and mobility-impaired can easily do their banking. But having to drive 15 minutes in Boston just to be able to deposit cash is so wrong, and the ones that have ATMs in the Walgreens are not full service, you can only withdraw money.

Eric Dyke: This was a surprisingly good experience compared to other branches. Brian and Rochelle were very patient and friendly. They listened to what I needed and took care of everything in a timely manner. The app is generally pretty good, but every now and then you need to do some deposits in person.
Arif Banai: Manager condescendingly told me to leave as i tried to use the atm. The door was unlocked, im about to put my atm card in, and they run over to tell me to leave... Running to stop me from using an ATM?

It’s been in the bottom third of my To Do list. So now I’ve got one (it’s the 2% deal). It’s all good. I’m not sure I’ll use it much, but hey, intro promo is good. And I can always use a miscellaneous expenses card at 2% cash back.

Robert Johnson: TD bank does not value potential candidates for the job openings they post. I was informed by a source that a person claiming to be a TD recruiter by the name of "Amanda Rogers" out of the Springfield/Chicopee, MA office(s) - made an agreement to call a candidate for a phone interview at a specific time. They never called the candidate nor contacted them since to apologize for their absence.It would be understandable if they were late or had to reschedule, but "Amanda Rogers" never responded to the candidate. After hearing about this experience, it solidified my decision to go with another bank to do my business with. It's a shame as I was looking for a new bank to handle my mortgage and business loan needs. I'll be conveying the same information to my extended network to never do business with them.I would never recommend TD bank as they apparently support unprofessional practices within their organization . I would not be surprised if such values extend to the customers they serve.

They said it would take a couple days and my slip says I would receive the entirety of the amount in three days.This was the first lie.I deposited the check on Wednesday. Thursday night, my online banking went down with a notice to call the fraud department. The fraud department said there was an issue with the check. Call my bank.I called my bank next day and was told to call the fraud department since they are the ones holding the check. I called the fraud department and they told me that I needed to go INTO the bank with a photo ID. I called my branch and they said they had no idea what the fraud department was talking about and that the fraud department needed to verify the check with the bank.Ok.I called the Fraud department with the bank information so they could contact them. Given another back and forth. And on the third day, was told that the funds would be released to me on the 7th business day of when I deposited!IF I HAD KNOWN THAT I WOULD HAVE JUST MADE THE HOUR TRIP TO DEPOSIT MY FUNDS INTO MY CREDIT UNION.Jim the Manager I spoke with, thinks the slips on the receipt say 7- 10 business days, so he has no idea what is even written on the papers he works with.Lies on top of lies.Do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere.This company even discussed me with someone who called in who's information is NOWHERE on my account.Beware of this bank. ESPECIALLY this branch.

Jesus Acevedo: I lost my debit card on the way to South Station from North Station. I had less than an hour to get to my nearest TD Bank and get a new one before my bus to New York started boarding. I was greeted immediately upon entering and shortly after Andrew was helping me with the process of printing a new card, after verifying my identity and card status. I was soon on my way and am now writing this review from the line to board the bus.Thank you so much Andrew!

V M: Literally the worst banking experience ever. My savings account kept getting hit with fees. With no real help from the online banking associates, I visit this branch. They closed the account to avoid future fees. Then they tell me they would have reimbursed the fees if I didn’t close my account. What in the world. I could have just received the reimbursement then closed the account. This is an example of the lack of clear communication. Sorry Celtics. I love TD Garden but TD bank is horrible. I will completely terminate my relationship with this bank over the next month or so.

Patrick S: Zero bankers available to help customers. I already have 2 accounts and waited 30 minutes to be told I need to setup an appointment to create another account. Do yourself a favor and go to a branch that’s actually run the right way, like the Fenway branch on Boylston St.
Andres Townes: I said I work at Chipotle and wanted change they decided they didn't want to deal with me. Even though I was willing to open a personal account and make the change. Could very easily made a hefty deposit. No it's not the grandest amount but I will need another bank soon anyway, but they didn't want to do business so forget them. Bank of America never gave me this amount of anguish.
Saravpreet johal: I came for deposit the lady Shimira who’s attending me, she make the wrong total of the money. She make $30 extra I correct it, but instead of appreciate or apologize, she showed her attitude to me. Thats not the good coustomer service. She have not smile a single time on her face.......
Jessica H.: Karissa/Carissa (didn't catch her name properly) was the most amazing associate! She helped me in ways that employees at other TD locations were not willing to. Definitely go to this location over any other one in Boston. It's not super crowded and the employees are very very well trained.

Andrea Scripa: This took place a while ago, but I'm still pretty angry it happened.My husband and I went to this branch to open a joint checking and savings account. When we sat down with the clerk, he directed questions only at my husband and completely ignored me. As we were finalizing our information, the clerk turned to my husband and asked him if he was sure he wanted me to have full access to the account. He told my husband that if he preferred, he could set up the account so that I would have only limited access to our money. My husband was shocked and confused, and confirmed that no, we want a *joint account* with full access for both of us.I find it unbelievable that a bank clerk would go into this line of questions RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, without including me in the conversation at all OR knowing where the funds were coming from. In fact, the money belonged to both of us, and I brought exactly 50% of it into the marriage with me. I was both furious and humiliated that a banker would make such sexist assumptions about the nature of our relationship and treat me in such a disrespectful manner. It was one of the most openly discriminatory acts I have ever experienced.More generally, it is also highly annoying that TD does not have a banking system that allows for multiple parties to gain online access to an account with their own credentials. This means I have to use my husband's login (and know the answer to all my husband's security questions) anytime I want to cash a check online, or simply look at what's going on in the account. None of these practices are conducive to a relationship built on financial equality, and that is a real slap in the face to hardworking women like me.

Joe Viviano: Incompetent workers, 0 stars. When depositing cash the teller undercounts my deposit by more than $350 dollars! It took her 3 attempts of counting (after I had to recount multiple times in front of her) for her to get the correct amount. After her third attempt she correctly counts the money, she then proceeds to write down the incorrect amount on the deposit slip which I needed to point out.
