Down Nightclub Boston: what do users think?
Isaiah Sylvester: Don’t understand the negative reviews. Place admission is cheap, easy to find free parking, getting in was easy and diverse music is played. Place is a little cramp but that’s because how many people are going to that club. I had a way better time at this club bc the music varied from EDM, hip hop, Hispanic music, etc. will definitely be coming back!
Jose Carbo Laso: My coat was robbed here. Please be careful with your belongings
Bill Wohlers: Great music and environment, short lines, overall one of the best spots in the area for partying.
Mark Fry: Nice view on the photos
K K: Maybe you should inform people when you have a hip hop night
Jennifer Denise (Lulu bell): I've but it's been so long when u guys open my birthday 21 july trying get hotel an come there that weekend ..?
شگفتی های باستانی و آثار تاریخی ایران: نزدیکی بوستون به کانادا این شهر خونه دوم ما شده
Maja Maja: When you will open for public? So so disappointed 😬
Eyal Shaich: Good vibes. Jumpy crowd :)
Carla Romo: One star is overrating them
Paul Vasconcelos: Great place
Ashley Marrino: Sammi is an amazing part of the down staff! VERY attentive, sweet, and SO MUCH fun!!! She made my experience one to remember! I will come back many more times because of her! I have gone there before and it was not the same experience as I had with her. I highly recommend requesting her every time you wanna go!
Michael Bitto: Ashley helped me plan a high school reunion to remember. She was extremely accommodating and prompt responding to any question or request I had via phone or email. Ashley and the rest of the staff took care of everything the night of so the only thing I had to do was enjoy myself. Great venue and a great time.
Erik Romero: It's affiliated with the bar next to it, both refusing me service because they saw me drink from a water bottle outside before I got in. Stating "we saw you drinking liquor" and refusing to let me in because of it. IT WAS WATER, even if it wasn't what I do outside of your establishment does not concern the bouncers!
james rosania: Do not come here. Bouncers are bullies. I got tossed out by the Asian bouncer for no reason and he wouldn't let me know why I was getting kicked. He also would not let me tell my friends. He put me in a tight chokehold as we were exiting. As he handled me up the stairs I asked to be let go to escort myself out. He tightened his grip around my neck. Then he pushed me as hard as he could. Never coming back here again.
Amanda Howell: Will be back!
John Hennessy: Load of bollox
Cody Page: Went here for New Years eve, had a great time.
Michelle Stolwyk: Avoid if you're in the 30 and up range - reminded me of the frat parties in college. If you're looking for the sticky floor and getting smashed scene, then this place has you covered.

Tunnel: what do users think?
Vy Nguyen: The crowd was so dead even when the streets outside are still pretty crowded. No coat check it seems
Vanna Ngo: A place to go to if you don’t want to wait in line for Venu, Icon or Bijou. It’s a small club, but ambience is fun. Good music all around (reggaeton and hip hop). Decent drinks. I will say though… the clientele is kind of questionable. Lots of solo males here compared to other clubs in Boston. Had a handful of creeps come up to me and my friend so I would deff just skip out on this place and wait in line somewhere else, even if other places are a little more expensive
Lauren True: Great security, felt safe
ryanrapada1: Trash. Don’t waste your time. Waited in line for 2 hours. Unless you’re “VIP” they’ll make you wait. I don’t know how or why some people were getting in. Bouncers were racist and made snide remarks to minorities. Owner came out and cursed out the front people in the line for asking how long the wait was. He kept shoving us back even when we were behind the line, also encouraged racist comments at people in the line. Go here if you want to be berated and treated inhumanely. Trash
B1ackeyez: Tunnel was very good!
Raquel Rivera Díaz: Not recommendable, waste of time and 20$
Roberto Sims: The short little bouncer/security guy was loooking to pick a fight with anybody that walked past him. It was honestly a bad time all around- bad service and bad vibes. Never coming here again.
Kathleen Attardo: We went here to dance and hear good music! A night out w my sister in law, my daughter & my niece! SOOO much fun!!
Niko Cardini: Went here with a large group of friends not knowing what to expect, and had an absolute blast.Main reason for 5 stars is that the hospitality at Tunnel was by far better than any club I have been to in Boston. Every single staff member were of the most friendly people I've met working at a club/bar scene. Props to you all!
Steven Mendez: Ordered a bottle and waitress charged my card before checking if it was in stock, it wasn’t. Then offered to “give me a deal” if I spent double the amount I originally planned on. I was told I would be refunded but never was. The number posted doesn’t even ring if you try to call it. Scammers, will never return or recommend.
Gina M: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I was lied to at the front door saying the bar would be open for 2 more hours and so I paid the $20 cover charge but it was actually only open for 20 more minutes. The music was trash and people were creepy. The only good part was a really nice employee named Heavy.
Lisa “LeeLee” Demeo: It’s everything I expected & so much more 💋
Andrea Estefani: Umm I always go to this place when I’m in Boston lol BUT TeLL THE DJ TO STOP PLAYING DRAKE All night please lol I love him but not all night we need DIFFERENT ARTIST OKAY I’m done lol
Giovanna Marino: Awesome place with great music and great vibes
Camille Brunetti: Had an amazing night here! Drinks are a little pricey, but the bartenders were quick and friendly. Definitely a small space but the lighting was so fun, the dance floor was full without being too crowded and the music was great—cover was $20 when we got there around 9:30/10. Also, security was visible and helpful w/o being intimidating—great spot for how small it is!
Britt Lane: Love this place? Is it still open?
Carley Leonard: We went there for my friends birthday we had a great time!
Irma Nalic: worst bouncers
Mila Z: Bouncers were the worst human beings. My brother had a ticket and they wouldn’t let him in because it was 5 minutes past the time but they were rude and condescending even though he was waiting in line. Do not go!!!
catherine B: By far the WORST night club experience in Boston.
Madison Attardo: Im 22 years old and they wouldn’t let me in cause they didn’t believe I was of age even after showing the bouncer my license. My friends and I then had to call an uber to find a new place to go although we planned all night to go to tunnel, which was a huge inconvenience. I would NOT recommend going there because if it happened to me it probably happens to others. The bouncer also asked to see my facebook profile and still did not believe me. They are unprofessional and absolutely stupid

Bijou Nightclub: what do users think?
Lucas Benoit: Worst place to go in Boston. The bouncers will seperate you from your friends for no reason. They do not deserve your dime. Go to hava
Carla D'avanzo: Got there early and bought tix at the door, service and security were very friendly and felt safe and comfortable. Music was fun. The djs I went for came out pretty late, at 12.30am, I expected the set to be a bit longer
Jessica Martiniello: Until just recently, I hadn't been to Bijou since way before covid and my experience has only been 10/10 since. The new second floor lounge is such a vibe, as they have day parties that offer Rose!! Staff was polite and professional. Music was ACTUALLY good and the crowd was mixed with young professionals. Bury me at Bijou 3.
Bianca Andrade: My favorite club ❤️
maxbaxish: You know a place is truly terrible when the employee cannot look you in the eyes as she explains their policy to you. Incredibly predatory ticketing system. Bought a ticket in advance online for ~$34 that was for early arrival (before 11:30). I show up at 11 but have to wait in line because it’s a busy Saturday night. Understandable, but by the time I get up there it’s passed 11:30 and I am told that my ticket is invalid and I now have to pay a $43 cover. $77 before even walking in the bar. The woman I was talking to was staring directly at the floor the entire time I was trying to explain the situation to her and just kept repeating the same thing. She knew it was BS but that’s their business here. They should specify their early arrival policy to say “before 11:30 + however long you think the line will be that night.”
Ana Osorio: Nice place to meet up with friends for a night out. Good drinks. Parking was not so easy.
Brianna Pizzuto: There is a way to treat customers. The bouncers are rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend giving your money to a place that does not respect who is paying.
Dhuru Patel: Racist and rude bouncers, terrible management
Maria Terentyeva: Favorite night club in Boston.Always on top with DJs, ambiance and drinks!
Chloe Georges: I’ve been to many Boston clubs, however Bijou is the best! One thing I’ve noticed about bijou compared to other clubs in Boston is the diversity of the music.I heard music from many different countries which is not common in Boston. I definitely recommend this place for people who wanna have a great time and listen to amazing music!
Haley Camacho: Bijou is amazing!! If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. From the exceptional customer service to the best djs in the city. Bijou is the spot in Boston.
J N: Great spot. No complaints. Bouncers were extra careful to search everyone entering which honestly makes me feel a little better.
Erin Noel: been going for a while - saturday nights have the best music with dj sisko! the bottle girls are all so pretty and so sweet! their outfits are so cute on the theme nights! legit all the staff are very down to earth and helpful, from diamond in security to the women’s bathroom attendant! gives a very intimate and more personalized vibe in contrast to other boston clubs
Fernanda Madrid: Worst light show in Boston, good djs too bad the lights take so much from it. Also $7 for the jackets… drinks 2.2/5
Joe Karam: Best nightclub in Boston
Adnan Haider: I had the best time here, I’ve been going out in Boston for so long and nothing is like going to Bijou. From the moment you walk in until you leave their establishment you’re having a great time. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in town
Alexa Benedetto: Visited Bijou recently & I must say the environment was great! DJ’s were awesome - along with the staff being very friendly & accommodating! 10/10 would recommend & will definitely be back in the future!
cary rodrigues: Definitely my favorite Boston nightclub in Chinatown bijou sound system is definitely amazing & there staff there so Beautiful & friendly professional. I totally love the experience and environment.
Marina Morais: the djs are amazing and customer service is on point! i always enjoy my visit to bijou! 10/10 would recommend
bvb2o11: Ive enjoyed the boston nightlife for 9 years now and this was my worst experience ever. Not only did I wait for 40 minutes outside in 15 degrees for my table for my birthday, the security at the line “whos not responsible for the line”was letting in over 15+ different frat boys over the course of our wait. Once the last one did I questioned why and I was kicked out of line then they watched me wait line again, just to kick me out once i reached the end for their own sick narcissistic enjoyment. Never ever again do not ever go here. Much better places like Venu, empire, bijou, memoir in encore etc. Not to mention theirs been reports of spiked drinks
Ava French: This place is the biggest SCAM in Boston. We were recommended to come and there was a $40 cover charge and the place was EMPTY at midnight. What a joke. The staff here is extremely rude. Watch out for the door guy in the video. He tried pushing us around and we weren’t making any scene & were sober. That’s why I started recording

Icon Nightclub: what do users think?
Subby: The staff was rude with us and make our friend who was of color and made racist comments and made her pay double the cover. I should have it reported if I could for harrasment
Gus Michaelsen: Small club to have a $30 cash cover and rude staff. Money is much better spent to dance somewhere else.
Kenia Carvajal: The bouncers are extremely rude and disrespectful. They don’t even let you talk and they scream in your face.
Ethan Donnelly: Don’t waste your time here. Bouncers are happy letting in people drinking nips and puking around the corner but want a random power trip and won’t let in some people just patiently waiting in line. They try to force people to pay cover for a prepaid event. I’ve seen people get stretchered out. The list goes on and on and after 2 visits to Icon I will never go back. My experiences are so bad I honestly have no idea how people are leaving positive reviews for this place
Isabella V: Don’t waste your time here. Was attending a prepaid event and the bouncer immediately denied entry to my listed guest and couldn’t give us a reason why other than “the way he walked.” Claimed he was the manager while puffing his e-cig in our faces. Another staff member came out and told me my guest was denied due to “his attitude.” We were unwilling to slip them cover for a listed guest at a prepaid event so they decided to ruin our night instead.
Walter Stanwood: Easily one of the worst club I have been to. Bouncers act like college bar bouncers on a power trip. Once having to have a lengthy conversation with the bouncer. was given attitude by the bar staff and even attempted to be ripped off by making me buy a table. DJ was pretty mediocre at best. kinda sounded like a frat basement. overall, would not recommend to any of my friends for worry of the same experience.
Delaney Shaw: Worst club in Boston. Go anywhere else, your money and time will be wasted at this dump. Bouncers act like little children.
jillian parrott: bad. and smelled
Michael McCutcheon: List of the worst night clubs in Boston:1. ICON2.
Ryan Dennehy: 0 Stars. Probably the worst place you could ever go in Boston. Bouncers have nothing better to do than make you miserable. Everything inside is also over priced. Waste of time, waste of money don't bother with this dump.
Don Julio: Worst experience ever. Bouncers get off on making themselves feel like they are special. Also one of them was blowing their e cigarette in my face like a child. Guy needs to figure his life out, seems like he enjoys making other people miserable. They were definitely trying to extort for more money to get in when it was already a prepaid event.
Matt Chicko: Super overpriced and unfriendly staff. The bouncer was acting like a little boy
Rhys Donnelly: This place deserves 0 stars. Staff was incredibly rude. Bouncer likes to make himself feel important by using his position to deny people for no reason. Don't waste your time and money at this place.
Venessa Brown: Why is smoking allowed inside the club
Marco Maldonado: This place is expensive for how mediocre it is, at best you're gonna go home regretting to have gone here and the security staff are either on their phones or unfriendly as hell. It does get good traffic but be ready to run into no almost no good people
Suman Goud: One of the best in Boston.
Raunak singh Matharu: If you don’t have entry don’t sell tickets worst club don’t go save your money

Middlesex: what do users think?
Tarnier Abellard: It is a mature crowd and a decent vibe but the Dj needs to play more reggae.
Jaye Aster Broder: Decently large space that can be reserved before the prime time. Drinks are average and typical Cambridge prices. There is often a cover here. The bathrooms don’t close and lock well.
David R: Great
John Sanders: If you are looking for a place where you can have a legit good time this is it. You aren't going to get bottle girls with sparklers dancing around in almost nothing, but you will get a great place to dance and hang out. There is an escalating cover that starts at $10, and goes up to $20 as the night goes on. Its a small place so have realistic expectations. The Dj's are top notch, the bar staff friendly, and hot!! What more can I say about this place, drop in and have fun...
BOB Surette: Middlesex is a great spot for great music of all types (depending on the night), great peopple wiht good vibes. If you are looking for an attitude free great place ot dance, drink, and have a good time then this is the place. The staff is solid and could not be nicer. The bartenders are legit and hot!
Victoria Gabriele: Come here if you want your stuff stolen and your credit cards overcharged. Avoid the coat check.
Katie Faraone: If you like dancing, you'll have a great time, and if you don't like dancing, why did you go? The DJ played a solid mix that kept all my friends with a 15 year age range happy, the drinks were tasty and the vibes were solid. Getting a drink is like getting a drink at any crowded place; if you engage with the bartender, it will happen a lot faster (we never waited more than a few minutes on a busy Saturday night). The crowd was extremely diverse by Boston/Cambridge standards. When we arrived at 9:30, it was basically full inside and there was no line. The coat check was clutch. My phone tells me I danced 3 miles in about 3 hours. The perfect place to go dancing when you're looking for house party vibes if any of your friends had a house this big.
Gawaine O'Gilvie: Another awesome night! Bartenders & staff were fantastic as usual!I don't know how the staff can stay so calm & collected with all the grumpy people from like 3 days ago (Saturday).I heard Harvard lost against Yale so that could explain why students were so grumpy and complaining.DJ had a killer set!
Samantha: This bar is absolutely terrible - do not go!! The music is really bad, and certain of the bartenders are extremely rude and take people’s credit cards, aren’t paying attention to the charges, give them to the wrong people and then disclaim responsibility. They also have no manager present, and the person “filling in” for the manager, Chris Young, was dishonest about the bar’s procedures for this type of credit card fraud (despite being an “accountant” and an utter lack of professionalism). There are so many better places to go that won’t rip you off!
Jeremy Spear: if you’re a young person don’t go here. I’m 23 and the average age in this bar was at least 35, it was filled with some of the weirdest and creepiest people i’ve ever seen in my life. Worse than anywhere else. We all wanted to go somewhere else within 5 minutes. Also a super overpriced cover charge. It’s worth maybe $5 but they charged $20. Music was 3/10- they literally played the Rugrats theme song. If you have to use the bathroom, the line will take minimum 15 minutes because it’s a single stall. For the same price, just go to an actual club and have more fun. The venue is boring- it’s just a big square room. The fact the owner replies to the 1 star comments and gets all trashy and defensive is all you need to know lol
Mackenzie Keefe: Minneapolis has a horrendous bar scene so I was excited to try out bars and clubs in a new state. Somehow, this was worse. There were 4 DJs and somehow the music got unplugged. Which I guess was fine because I didn’t hear 1 good song the entire time I was there.
Hadley Camilus: I've been going there for over 15 years, and have met really cool people over the years. This rating is about the totality of my experiences rather than my most recent ones. I love that it's a mature crowd. The last couple of times I've gone, the DJs have lacked feel. They cut songs off way too quickly and don't have a sense of what the audience is feeling. In general, I love that the music isn't poppy. You gotta be into old school hip hop/r&b and 70s soul to dig this spot.
浜中正志: Went there on Friday night at 10:30 and forced to wait for 30mins with no reason because there were enough space inside. I expect good hiphop music but they never play that. All the way EDM or even some wired music. You also must join long Q for rest room. Just packed with young students who has no clue about music.
Carl Biggie: Decent place to be at 10:30!
Crystal Quintal: Comfortable atmosphere for any age. Hip hop & r&b.
Julia Gilligan Corsetti: The best place in Cambridge to dance the night away! If you want house party vibes, this is the spot! 💃 hot bartender also
Jacob Mancinotti: One of my favorite clubs in Boston! Good music and dancing. Also, kind staff. Pretty great!
Fibi N: So went there with a large group on Friday night around 10:30, it wasn't crowded so there was plenty of space to dance. The bar tenders are quick with taking your order and the bathrooms are very clean. The dj played an awesome mix of afro beats, hip hop, reggaeton and some old school hits. The place gets more filled up closer to midnight. $10 entry fee. Will definitely be back on account of the great music.
Ramona Bourguignon: Awesome place for a night out. Staff couldn’t be more friendly if they tried :). The steak and fries was delicious and so was everything else we ordered. Highly recommended it!
Marilynn H: Went here for dancing, it was such a great night. Amazing music and fun lighting!
Jed Armour: Best house and techno DJs in the world every Thursday for a party called Keep On.

Candibar Boston: what do users think?
Brandy Lambert: Wonderful Fridays
Rohit Kapadi: No vibe
Shweta Desai: Always a fun vibe
Mukund Kudlugi: This place is racist and colorist, they profiled my friend just because of skin color. This was so injust and it ruined what was supposed to be our fun night out. They're ok with people trying to sneak in alcohol but not with people looking different. Seriously messed up our night. POCs, please don't patronize this place. We're not exaggerating this experience, but racist encounters like this one should be called out.
Shriya Srinivas: I am very disappointed with the lack of inclusivity at this venue. My friend was not let in because of his looks even though non of us were intoxicated beyond the acceptable level. Candibar has very little tolerance and I would not recommend this establishment.
Shrunothra Ambati: This place is racist - none of us were intoxicated but they refused to let in my friend just because of his looks. It was completely ridiculous and everyone paid and had waited in line. The bouncer was way out of line. Do not go here.
Mahika Kudlugi: Boston is a nightmare for POCs. These guys were having a Bollywood night, and they singled out of my brown friends who had dark skin saying that he was too drunk. When I questioned him about it, saying that all the girls were as drunk as him, they laughed it off and repeated that he was too drunk. Candibar make POCs who bought tickets feel extremely unwelcome. Please don’t come here if you are a POC.
Razmeet: part of why I’m moving out of boston is because this is the main desi party space, and it’s just not good vibes. I’ve had at least 3 negative business-induced experiences here, and I was only a problem in 1 of them, and even then, the level of intervention was too severe for the situation in my opinion. Even if I wasn’t moving, I’d probably just start trying to party in nyc more.
Siddharth: Went with low expectations! But had fun time there.
g P: Went with friends last night. Horrible place . The only good thing is Rob The bartender. The DJ last night was lost . Her music selection was horrible making the dance floor a boring place.
Kartik Kumar: Just a garbage place. The staff working there are just incredibly rude as well.
Sneha Nair: Most rude people in the entire USA. They will keep yelling at everyone for no reason.
Samuel Donovan: Worst experience I had here is when my severely intoxicated friend called me crying to come pick him up, and security screamed in my face that I couldn’t get in without cover—took 10 minutes to get them to agree to let me in by giving them my license for collateral. Friend ended up being passed out on the floor in the bathroom, covered in his own vomit. You’re better off at Blend or dbar.
suyash dugar: Worst place ever .. it’s okay to tell someone to leave but unfair to let people go out in -32 when people are waiting for Uber .. worst people ever .. don’t go here .. waste of money and plenty of attitude
Srikanth Acha: I want to not give atleast 1 star also what much worst experience. I came to Boston from Manchester for this club .The club was too small can’t even stand on Friday .The prices were too high .I request to see any other club .Don’t waste your money .
Vinay Bharath: Boring place with rude staff
noor virani: I just been to this club. We already paid the entry fee & been enjoying the party. I wanted to take the call from my wife, i had to go outside to take the call, as it was too loud inside. But when i tried to come in after 10 mins , after taking the call, the receptionist asked me to pay again to enter the club , even after having the stamp and paying already.I still paid them the money. Its not about the money. But its unfair.Apart from the that, bar staff have been very friendly.
Raffaele Guida: I was about to get in with friends, but the girl at the entrance was rude for no reason. We left immediately. Maybe 21/22 y.o. would put up with that, not us. We just went upstairs to the Royale. Hire nicer employees, especially those who need to interface with people. With another club right upstairs you can't afford to be rude
Kathan Shah: I have been to a club in most major cities of the US and this has been my absolute worst experience by far. The music is trash but the security/staff is even worse. They insisted on separating our drunk friend from their flatmates while two huge bouncers lifted her and took her away into an unknown room in the name of protocol. They treated us like hostile assaulters when we were simply standing and observing what was happening. They forced emergency care bills upon the patient who could have easily made home with her friends. All of us had ID proof and all the necessary documents to show shared residency. Worst staff I have dealt with. Avoid at all costs. Asking us to trust them while they treat us like criminals. Pathetic management.
Suraj Mishra: Wish I could rate less than this. I had no idea how the bollywood nights on Fridays are. Dj had no idea of mixing songs. Ended up stopping the music at around 12:15ish. It feels suffocated inside the club because zero ventilation. Bad crowd because cheap and unlimited tickets. Basically it’s the last place you want to be in.
Harold Ward: I visited several days ago and my experience was very good with this astrologer who is suggesting to all my friends to solve family problems.

Royale: what do users think?
Izzy Gwen: Got spiked in October of 2021. Don’t recommend
Danielle Betz: All the bouncers are on a major power trip, turned a lot of people away. Kept asking everyone how much they had to drink including myself. End of the night they literally pushed people out of the venue and scream at people who are waiting for Ubers to leave. Ive never had another venue yell at people for standing outside.Cons: no ac, bouncers and security suck, overpriced drinks and 2 drink minimum for credit cardsPros: venue looks nice and good sound quality
golfinmang: Andy Shauf show, first time at the Royale and it was awesome!
Emily Hunter: pretty nice venue. the rules for this venue are strange though. they didn’t let me in over some slides. so beawareeeeee.
Cohavit Gil: It sucks to have to write a negative review on this place bc I’ve seen some cool shows here and I’ve had fun here. But as another reviewer mentioned, the line to get in to MEDUZA on 3/31 was atrocious. I get management wanting to keep a line outside to make it look ‘popular’ or whatever, but this was excessive. Or maybe the management team is simply inexperienced (they recently made a ton of new hires) and they were understaffed and underprepared for a sold out show. Whatever the reason, we spent longer outside waiting than inside seeing the show! Even MEDUZA said something about the line when the dude got on stage. Not cool, Royale!
Holly Reyes: Royale is so nice, I went for my first time to see Jukebox The Ghost and was very pleased . Plenty of parking in the area. Park at tufts and it's right across the street. Staff was really nice.
Cindy: I haven't had such a bad experience until tonight (Friday, 3/31/2023). We waited in line in freezing light rain for over an hour to get inside which was at 12:20am. We had $40 pre-purchased tickets. And at one point while waiting in line, there was a very rude power-tripping security guy telling us to make way for the entrance doorway to which seemed like an apartment. A girl and her friend who have been waiting in line behind me with her friends left the line for a minute. The same security guy told them they can't "cut" the line when they weren't. He said he didn't see them leave the line so it didn"t matter. A guy not from the group said she and her friend had waited in line for a while, too. But he didn't take that info. One of the girl's friends tried telling the security guy the two had waited, but the guy threatened the friend about not getting back in the line instead. So the girl and her friend couldn't get back in line. Ridiculous power-tripping going on that night with that one security guy. He was disgusting. The dj was great and the drinks were good though.
Brian Nguyen: What a great venue. Two stories, multiple bars, multiple dj locations. Looks tiny when entering, can easily miss the entrance sign.
Shon Baranov: First time in a night club in my life and it was the best experience ever. Staff was very nice and helpful of any people that couldn't control themselves. I came twice to the nightclub. Friday night for the discord event and Saturday night for PAX appreciation party hosted by the Royale. Bouncer or security that was standing near the washrooms was very friendly and the females working at the coat check were the best. I would recommend this night club for your events and with great DJs playing great music.
Lily Freyer: Usually have a good time here, asked for a cup of water and the bartender got upset with me and took a dirty cup someone had brought up to the bar and filled it with water and tried to give it to me. Not sure why she was so upset as I was purchasing actual drinks at the same time. Gross AF
Mahak Bhatia: Very bad experience with this place. This is the worst club I have ever seen in Boston.
Jacqueline Rounds: I had just left royale and was finding an Uber home. I was alone, as a woman, waiting for the car to pick me up. I was asked to leave the area and I graciously explained that as I woman I do not feel comfortable leaving the spot I was in because it’s very unsafe, especially the area I was in. The security guard told me that he does not care about that and that I have to leave the area nonetheless. I understand the circumstances but one woman standing alone waiting for an Uber is not a problem and to neglect my own saftey is a real problem with clubs like this. I was once roofied here as well. I thought that things have changed but apparently they have not. Do better.
Shirl Kasanovich: Fun place if you don’t mind being packed in like sardines in a hot can…NO seating.
Arpit Jain: Pretty cool experience seeing a concert here
mena salame: Extremely disrespectful and racist. Was asked if i was “from here” three times by a staff member.
Hannah: Concert Security is really bad. I was front row at a concert and some lady started assaulting me. It caused a scene but no security in sight. They also didn’t direct crowd surfers so people where just lost at the front of the stage. They weren’t wearing uniforms so I honestly had no clue if they even HAD security. Very disappointing :/
Anthony: Good venue.
Anna K: Had a fun night out here.
Anna Marshall: The music was not good and our vip section with bottle service took 30-45mins for a drink. It’s a beautiful space but the service was extremely unfortunate.
Yousif Alani: Worst place ever.
T: A bit expensive for the music played inside. It is mostly crowded, but people inside are correct, I would say.Unfortunately, it is not that easy to get a drink since there is a long queue which can take 10–15 minutes until you can finally order your drink. The good point is that there are several security agents who are helping you if needed.3 stars that could be 4 stars without the queue for alcohol.

House of Blues Boston: what do users think?
Elisabeth Noel: Lots of room, 3 bars, and an upstairs. Fast and efficient staff, friendly bartenders and absolutely sick light set up. Sound is super high quality and it's near lots of great convenient parking.
e frizzie: so so so so so so so so SO beautiful! worth your while. the bathrooms are gorgeous aswell. setting makes me wanna bust a move.
Robbie Frost: I've been to a few shows here and it's becoming one of my favorite venues. The floor is great, with nice spots on either side to lean against a rail or pillar. The box seats are a really nice experience, very comfortable and a killer view.
MA: I would just like to give Jenn aka Big Mama a huge shout out. My friend had diabetes & needed some assistance & she went out of her way to accommodate us. Thank you for being a great person & helping when most wouldnt!
Jonathan Keller: It’s a scam. Selling mezzanine floor concert tickets with no view of the stage
Erin Rauch: The place is great! Staff is welcoming and friendly. Big enough for lots of people but didn’t feel overly crowded. My only complaint is that when were were leaving, my husband and son had nice big cups of ice water with them that they were given at the concessions, which was nice to have after being in a slightly crowded room cheering and singing along to the music. The first person at the exit said as long as it was just water it was fine to bring them. The lady we saw next just grabbed them from my husband and son and said we couldn’t have them. Didn’t even give us a chance to say anything. Really rubbed us the wrong way as it could have been handled much better. We’ll only be back if it’s an epic show.
Carolyn Turner: Barely of age “security” girls who look like they have never had a sip of alcohol, itching to kick people out. Shame on you
Ayan Chatterjee: Saw a lot of rock and metal musicians here: Slash, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Jason Bonham, Spiritbox, Intervals, After the burial, to name a few. The sound system is decent. Sometimes the vocals aren't properly balanced.
Lawrence Hernandez (Larry): as most reviews say try to get the floor tickets if you can try to go early to get the railing on the other floors. I got the floor tickets and was great for me. just remember floor best if not get there early for the rail.
Ben Wiener: They way oversold this show. I'm pretty tall and it was impossible to see.
Josi Araújo: Recentemente fui ao show de Djavan e gostei muito do lugar. Organizado, limpo, staff gentil. Nada a reclamar!
Natalie Cunningham: Terrible experience. I don’t even know where to begin with this place. The manager was extremely disrespectful when he came over to our table holding my ID in his hand after our waitress carded my friends & I after we placed our drink order. He had bent my license almost completely in half, claiming that “other licenses don’t do this” and “they aren’t supposed to bend this much.” He had to forcefully bend my license an extreme amount, just to try to prove some kind of point. To me, this was completely uncalled for. I’m 25 years old and was dressed very conservatively. By no means do I look like an underaged teen trying to use a fake ID. Now, I’m going to have to go out of my way & pay money out of my pocket to fix my license due to the idiotic actions caused by the manager. On top of that, both himself & the waitress did not offer any sort of compensation whatsoever. No sense of sympathy. 0/10 will not be coming back here.
Jamal Gaston: Wezzy f baby
Kristina Kowalik: Intimate venue. Was great!
John Caruso: Awesome venue!
John Kelley: Venue staff are 10/10. I hope they enjoyed hosting Infected mushroom.
Елена Кара: Always a pleasure to come for concert!
Antwan Baldwin: Food was great along with drinks. Lil Wayne concert 🔥🔥🔥
brian trivitt: House of rules
Trie Michaud: As a short person, if you don’t get there early to get rail space you should just leave if you were hoping to actually see the live band.
Shamika Blunt: Such a dope vibe! You have to visit the Foundation Room. It's a restaurant lounge connected to the venue. OMG!!!

Havana Club: what do users think?
Duc Hoang: My mom was very proud of my salsa moves after going here. I wish she’s that excited about my career.
Emmanuel Londono: Friendly staff. Very friendly bouncer. Not beginner friendly. You DO NEED a partner for this place. Website clearly states no partner needed. You dance solo non beginner friendly báchata/salsa for 10-15 minutes which was fun. THEN you NEED a partner. One of the gentleman that came to learn solo, poor guy walked around for 10-15 minutes trying to find someone but obviously couldn’t SINCE YOU NEED A PARTNER.5 guys sitting alone on seats because they came alone with the intention to strictly learn. DO NOT COME IF you are single, or did not bring a friend… at least offer solo dancing if you’re going to state no partner needed. Waste of money. I’m not shy AT ALL, and social interactions I excel at. Frustrated since I paid 15 dollars to dance 15 minutes.Cute place for a date, or learning WITH A PARTNER. The beginner friendly dancing Is like expecting a 4 year old child to read a short 300 page novel...( I know how to get by with bachata) Manage your own expectations. I would’ve danced more beginner friendly bachata at a club or bar much more easily, and would’ve easily found a “partner” there.
Rafael Game Franca Ribeiro da Silva: My first time there and I like very cool and nice people
Varun Behl: Great for cheap bachata and salsa lessons and social dancing, the sangria is amazing too.Edit went for Monday bachata, it was also super fun, video attached of the post lesson demonstration
A& A: Come here for great fun salsa! Not snobby. Friendly dancers of all races were here on Tuesday. The entrance was free before 9pm on Tuesday May 2nd 2017. This was recommended by a friend who lives locally. Would come back here again.
Hazel Anne Salvador: My partner and I went to the Saturday salsa + bachata dance lesson and after party. We enjoyed our night so much, and will definitely be back again soon. The instructors, music, and drinks were wonderful. Any dancer of all levels will enjoy it here. Btw, there is a coat and bag check there which is free
Nathaniel: Seemed great if you already know how to dance, but if youre a beginner don’t bother. The lessons are awful if you don’t already know dances. Within the first 2 minutes they just started saying numbers without telling what’s going on. Half the people don’t know what’s happening and the instructors act like it should be common knowledge. If you don’t know how to dance and want to be embarrassed then this is your place.
Craig Martin: I go somewhat regularly and it's made me a much better dancer - still a long way to go. I saw another review complaining about the bouncer and the vaccine card policy. Every time I go, the bouncer gives me a big smile and thanks me for coming. Very nice person just like the rest of the staff. I've never had a bad experience and I appreciate knowing everyone inside is vaccinated.
Alex Kakambouras: Great bartenders :)
Marshall Tsien: #great #vibes , late into da night means more spilled drinks n wetter dance floor ... #good #times #dimes
Peter Hatzidimitriu Dimas: Will revert back to five stars once the discriminatory and highly unnecessary vaccination policy is removed
Juan Amaro: Me gustaba mucho antes porque era más salsa los viernes, pero ahora es más bachata
Paul Garcia: Requires vaccine card to get in
Shih-Yuan Liu: Havana Club is one of the best places to dance bachata in Boston. I am a regular, and I really like the very spacious hardwood dance floor, the friendly atmosphere and people, and the wonderful music. Jeff makes a point in keeping the dancers safe. The staff shows strong professionalism and high integrity. Today, I lost my wedding band; Jeff and his wonderful staff made a real effort in finding my ring. I am extremely grateful that they found it and returned it to me on the same day. If you like latin dance, I highly recommend Havana Club!
A.J. Mills: Please be careful here. I am not sure if it was staff or another patron, but someone put something in my drink here last night. I am a 6 foot 270lb man, this can happen to anyone. I’m lucky my friends were there to take care of me, things could have been much worse.Edit after Owner Response:I am glad that, as an owner, you memorize each patron at the bar every night and your first instinct is to deflect rather than seeking more info. Sadly this is to be expected based off of the tone in other review responses. This is a disgusting problem rampant all over the city and I, as a bar owner, would be be focused on ensuring the safety of my patrons. Again, I am thankful that I was not alone, as my friends were able to make sure I got home safely, something I would not have been able to do on my own. As I said, this can happen to anyone at any time--go out in groups, and stay vigilant.
Charles Jacobs: Strict vaccine card policy and rude bouncer who prides himself in turning people away.I presented an iPhone photo of my Passport (which has been accepted at ever bar I’ve gone to in Boston and Chicago…) and bouncer insisted that it was invalid.I offered to show him matching insurance cards, bank accounts, social media accounts etc. but he was insistent on that not being “valid” because of everyone’s “safety.”😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑 Really? He bragged how he “once sent a guy all the way back to Lowell.”When I asked to speak to anyone else inside, like a manager/owner, the answer was a hard no…Went home but didn’t end up going back because I was so turned off by this guy.I realize he was “just doing his job,” but why not accept this form of ID when EVERYWHERE else I’ve gone has accepted this? Any explanation? This was my first time going to visit here and my last time trying to visit here.I will Not be making a second attempt to visit.(Visited on 8/2/2022)
Terri O'Brien: I have a medical exemption for the vax but couldn't get in. Vaxed people get & transmit Covid. I test every week but can't get in. No one wears a mask. I find this practice discriminatory, political & completely nonsensical. It would make more sense to me if masks were also required but yes I will absolutely respect your decisions and policies. I look forward to a time when none of this is necessary. Enjoy your day.
Carmen Toure Lorenzo: Pretty good music; but it really is about 70% bachata. Not sure where to go for mostly salsa, but again I enjoyed. Friendly crowd
Lena Owens: Great place to dance, definitely would recommend it. Space is large but on the interior so there aren’t any windows. Stayed pretty cool on a hot day because of their large fans. Staff were nice and bathrooms were clean!
Patience Jackson: The atmosphere looks great! Didn't get to experience it though because my husband and I didn't have proof of vaccination. Definitely bring it with you if you have it! We came all that way and couldn't come in :(
Dani James: Make sure you check THEIR personal website. I was using Bostonsalsacentral.com and they advertised a social on Tuesdays and Thursdays but there isn't one. It's just a class those days.

The Grand Boston: what do users think?
Andrea Woodland: Very rude staff, they handle all situations very poorly and look to gaslight patrons any chance they get
Madusa Sidibay: I’ve been before and the experience has been lovely, however, last time I was there they were RACIST and COLORIST to my darker-skinned friends. Do not waste your time if you do not pass the paper bag test. So ridiculous
Trusted Local: Amazing venue is south Boston. Parking right around the corner and the staff do an amazing jobs keeping people safe and happy.
Gabriel Reid: Really nice venu had a blast when I saw TWINSICK
Lisa Soun: Beautiful place. Dance floor is like being in a can pack full of sardines :) If you don’t come with a group then you’re just gonna get pushed to the side of the dance floor. But buying tickets online are way cheaper than paying there. So I’m grateful I didn’t waste $80 and just spent $40. I thought this place had potential but it’s so cringe in there unless you have tons of money to spend for a table. I came to see my favorite artist Laszewo and was so sad all she payed was mainstream remixes. I was so disappointed, her whole crew wasn’t even there smh. Overall this out of all the venues I’ve been to in Boston this place by far the scariest, worst place. Ps the bottle girls look so miserable 😭
Allyse Sanchez: we got tickets for a concert that started at 9:30 and it’s midnight and they still haven’t played….it’s just this DJ playing top 40 music…..like we didn’t pay for this….also security is low key annoying
james jones: They didnt serve me but got my money back
Rlnd Rmrzsnty: Excelente lugar
Samantha Lubas: would give 0 if I could. Horrible service, They let fake ids in, not real ids. They discriminate against out of state people. They lie about using a machine and dont take any proof of evidence that is real. Don’t bother going. Waste of time
Abhishek Sharma: My friends and I had a great time at The Grand. Our VIP Host, Eddie, did an excelling job with checking in with us and managing our table reservation. I would strongly recommend visiting The Grand for those who are looking for a fun night in Boston!
Nour Naja: Disgusting bouncers inside the club pushing you around for NO REASON. I am never coming back
Aris K: Why would anyone want to queue for 30 min while it’s snowing
Adam Iversen: Went on Wednesday and Friday - two totally different, but thoroughly fun nights. Wednesdays are the Undergrand. It's you, the artist and maybe 150 or so other people in one small room. Intimate and wonderful. Came to see Jerro and felt like I was in a Canopy Club video, but inside. The staff were all friendly and it was a fantastic experience. Drinks are expensive, but this a deluxe establishment. Fridays of course are the full deal. Four hours of ultra-high energy music and lighting, and totally cool. With all of the VIP tables the dance floor is small, but the sound is so good you can dance anywhere in the club. And it seems very clean and well-run. Far and away the most endearing thing about this place are the 180+ lights that hang over the dance floor going up and down like a bunch of evil Christmas ornaments. Each one actually looks like the thing Luke Skywalker practiced against with his lightsaber on the Millennium Falcon. They're one small part of a spectacular lightshow, but they made me smile the whole time. I'll be back here for sure.
Yash Anand: The bouncers are without any reason too aggressive…. They can throw you out anytime they want to once you have paid the entry fee… The place is too crowded and too expensive… not worth it..
Meredith Biron: This place is terrible so not worth it. They dragged me out by my arms and threw me out in the cold in February without my jacket just because some lady saw me stumble. I wasn’t fighting back at all so they should not be allowed to put their hands on me like that. Power hungry creeps
Yu Yue: Terrible experience. The server was so nice though, we got expelled after someone pushed my friend. It’s ridiculous
Jackie: making people with tickets wait outside in 5 degree weather
Russell Dion: Do not waste your time and money going here. They have a abhorrent check in system that leaves guests waiting outside, laughable drink prices only meant for yuppies with their parents money, and the main act doesn’t show up until after midnight.
Joshua Peters (Woadsly): Actual waste of money. 20$ a drink, artist never showed up.
Reyhan U: no floor to dance.. way too big vip areas. female staff is dressed for the male gaze... djs don't even show up until 1am, the club closes at 2... drinks are so expensive. and the staff is so rude
Iva Juka: Place has rats.
