Jessica McAlpine: All of the staff at Citi Dental in South Boston are beyond five star! The anxiety I had preventing me from making that first appointment is forever gone. The front staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. My hygienist Stephanie was the absolutely amazing! She created a relaxed, non judgment, and clean environment. Stephanie showed me all the x-rays and helped me step up a plan of care that I could follow. Dr. Stolch is simply the best! As I was getting the work done she provided me with noise cancelling headphones that connected to my phone so I could listen to my podcasts or music to help relax. Game changer! The room was decorated beach theme and they even gave me piña colada numbing gel, so cool! I didn’t feel an ounce of pain and honestly am looking forward to my next appointment to finally get my teeth perfected! I highly recommend CitiDental in South Boston!

Thomas Nolan: CITIDental South Boston always makes me feel like I will leave their offices without some sort of tension. Last year, they said I was due around a $400 check as they overcharged me for something, but neglected to tell me until I came in for the visit. That put a gross taste in my mouth. Now this time, I had to pay another $350 for something that apparently my insurance company didn't cover. I never got a bill, phone call, email, etc. about any of this. I also told I was in-network, but that wasn't true either.It's a disappointment as I hate to feel taken advantage of - and I do here.

Bruce Leslie: I went twice to complete my first deep cleaning. This involved a number of injections each time and a cleaning so deep around each tooth that the hygienist’s tool dug well below where the floss can reach. Oh joy . . . but NO! Stephanie was so gentle, so sure in her touch, and so clear that I knew what she was about to do at every moment and felt nothing. She changed the anesthetic to use one that wouldn’t raise blood pressure. I like a bit of conversation when possible with anyone wielding a hypodermic and bladed tools in my mouth and she is interesting and thoughtful, a genuine person. Stephanie and the other professionals at Citidental make a trip to the dentist an unexpected pleasure.

My hygienist, Stephanie was great and she was able to point out some recommendations and did a deep clean. I also had some cosmetic work done by Dr. Shea and I am so happy with my results. Overall had a great experience at Citidental and would highly recommend to new patients!
Margie-Jane Leslie: I saw Dr. Hoang for an emergency appointment. Her explanation of what happened and what needed to be done was clear, informative, and patiently delivered. She is realistic but has a positive and reassuring attitude toward outcomes. Most of all, she has an amazingly soft touch during the procedure; I never felt the novocaine needle or the work that she did. To my surprise, she made going to the dentist a pleasure.

B. W.: Great reintroduction after so long away. Informative as usual. I've found the environment conducive to getting a handle on my oral care over time. The cleanings have been well integrated with basic checkups and alerts as needed, and reasonably thorough. Surguries have been essentially pain-free and have lived up to expectations, although I was a bit crushed that my wisdom teeth didn't come out whole (Sigh.) After the usual hiccups for awhile there in the pandemic I was impressed with the adaptations the office made upon reopening, and these days there's a nice compromise been struck between the old old normal and the not so old hidden. (Here's hoping for all our futureI). With assistance from my experts at W&S I now hope to again ramp up my oral well being - we'll see how that pans out in a few months - and while I'll miss Dr. Warshauer, and - yes- continue to remember Dr. Baker, I look *forward* to interfacing with our new Dr. B.

Isobel Rounovski: I have had dental anxiety, and medical anxiety more generally, for as long as I could remember but only recently discovered the magic of sedation dentistry. It has been truly life-changing. Dr. Jill and her team are incredible and I will never go to any other dentist for as long as I live in Boston! Every person here has been very professional, kind, caring and has the type of bedside manner I have been looking for. I have never trusted a doctor more in my life! I could say a million good things about Dental Health and Wellness. 10 out of 10 recommended!

Kellissa Paquette: Dr. Jill Smith and her entire team are excellent and I could not recommend highly enough. I needed extensive dental work due to an accident that I had put off for years due to the expense and the overall length and steps it would take to complete (and the anxiety this caused!). After going to several different practices for a consultation, I was immediately impressed and struck how Dr. Smith and her team felt very different in their approach. Dr. Smith and her entire team (including Dental Assistant Brenda and Financial/Patient Coordinator Paris) were extremely welcoming, reassuring and always took the time to answer any questions or concerns I may have. I greatly appreciate how they always have made me feel supported and in the best hands through what felt like a difficult and extensive process - as I’m sure many can relate to with dental work! Dr. Smith and her team genuinely seem to care and have a client-centered approach with all their patients, and I am so glad I found them!

Jane Savery: Let me begin with I love Dental Health and Wellness Boston! I have been seeing Dr. Jill Smith for as long as she has owned this practice. Without a doubt, Dr. Smith is truly the most thoughtful, compassionate and gentle dentist I have ever been to. The entire Health & Wellness Team is outstanding, from the receptionist/scheduler (she always works hard to accommodate your scheduling needs), to the hygienists and assistants, they are all professional, personable and make you so comfortable that you feel like part of the family. The office space and equipment are top notch, including state of the art dental equipment and you can even listen to music or watch movies while the dental team works on your teeth 😃. I currently live out of state and because replacing Dr Smith would be impossible, I plan my trips to Boston around my dental needs.

Lianne Anderson: I called around the city to try and find a last-minute orthodontics appointment and the team got me in quickly (their location is very convenient in the middle of copley square) and were extremely kind and helpful, giving great guidance on my situation.
Scott Ugras: Called to try to schedule an appointment. The individual on the call was very rude and not helpful at all. I would avoid and focus on other great options in the area.
Kerri Martin: Dental Associates of New England deserves to be recognized for their excellence and dedication to the care of patients. I am someone who has dentistry anxiety with teeth requiring a fair amount of work done due to unfortunate genetics. Since having Dr. Maguire as a dentist, I have not once experienced fear or anxiety in his chair. I’ve always felt comfortable and without pain during any procedure. The entire staff makes you feel welcome including the receptionist and well trained hygienists. I would recommend this team to anyone searching for a new welcoming, and comfortable environment.

Alan Richmond: I don't usually leave reviews however I feel inclined to leave one right now. I called because I help different practices in the area with different things and wanted to talk about some ideas however the office manager at this location made fun of my accent twice because I pronounced a word wrong. And not in a playful way. It was condescending and rude. If management treats people upfront this way, I wouldn't trust what goes on behind the scenes either. Consider going somewhere else.

The prices are reasonable and the doctors are very gentle during procedures and make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire visit. Morgan Kelly: I highly recommend Dental Arts of Boston for everything from cleanings to implants. Dr Stevens and Dr P do a great job and also really care about their patients. They were so flexible to fit my crazy schedule. Ellen at the front desk is a gem, too. I moved away but still make the trip into Boston because a really great dentist is so hard to find. Jennifer Ha: I started to have very bad pain in my mouth and swelling to the point chewing or brushing my teeth in the area would hurt - Boston Dental at government center was able to get me an appointment within a DAY. The process was smooth and transparent and there is also a questionnaire sent to fill out so they can know more about your dental health. The dentist was very gentle and informative the entire time while I was cringing from the pain in my mouth. The swelling had even gone down by the end of the treatment. She made sure I felt comfortable and addressed my immediate concerns and followed up on any others I had. The space is clean and they even have Netflix set up for you to watch while you get your treatment which was helpful because just sitting there staring at the ceiling is so awkward 😅 highly recommend this place!!

Dexter Trujillo: Sandra is my hygienist since my first visit. Everything with her is perfect; she takes her time to do the best job. She explains you absolutely everything about your teeth and shows you that she cares about you. First time with my new dentist was great, she was really clear and knowledgeable while talking to me about some procedures. The location is incredibly clean every time I go there. They always have water for you and treat you since you come in with all the respect that you deserve.
Carly Autumn: I was a new patient. My experience was horrifying. Their office is a complete fraud. From misleading advertising to unsafe equipment and treatments.This business is run as a money-making machine to open new offices by cutting corners every step of the way and jeopardizing patients' safety. Their equipment is not properly disinfected, they handle and prepare new patient stations without using any gloves, they don't use proper tools to perform a safe dental treatment. They only have one available dental camera in the whole office which can't be properly cleaned between patients. They mislead you to signing into unauthorized treatments and without your consent, they rush and perform into the treatment. Laura C. Simons was my dentist. She used anesthetic that was unsafe to me because it cost less money to them. She intentionally cut into my gumlines causing permanent damage. Laura without my consent did deep drilling into my tooth causing infection.Everything was perform to intentionally harm you. X-rays were taken by Magen El-Malecki which led to gum line damage. Magen couldn’t take one proper x-ray instead she took 5 x-rays of the same tooth while not using camera properly and exposing my half face to the radiation 5 times. Both individuals Laura C. Simons and Magen El-Malecki are very careless about patient concerns or safety. To alert others I left a more detailed note on the BBB website. There is another patient note on BBB.

Michael Rissmiller: Very used car salesman vibes here. I just moved from Boston to Philly and got a new dentist. I had been spending so much money with Devonshire Dental with "recommended" deep cleanings by their dental assistants that cost an arm and a leg. It's been 2 years since my last deep cleaning and I went in for a consult today and my Philly dentist told me I got scammed.. deep cleanings should only be used for gum disease patients. While my gums aren't perfect, they are far from that level. For context I have never had a cavity/filling etc. Devonshire tries to talk you into spending money on advanced procedures that are not necessary. The people are nice enough but it's too salesy and I can't trust them. Find a more trusted advisor for your dentist.
