Boston Common Tennis Court: what do users think?
Carolyn Qi: Great spot
Jay Gamer: Besides the summer Tenacity youth program, the city needs to prohibit permits to private coaches that take up court time. You can see it on the app where time slots are automatically blocked. Doing so is privatization of public land where the rest of us tax payers can't freely access this public amenity. Shame on the park service for not understanding this simple concept.
Bram Lambrus: Super convenient location for us urban dwellers. The courts themselves are in OK condition - some cracks on the courts, but the nets are in good shape. One court has a backboard, and there are lights for evening play.Key thing to note: you will need to make an online reservation to be able to use these courts in the “busy season” (e.g. anytime the weather is nice). Go on PlayLocal.com to reserve, and note that it is commonly booked out for weeks in advance. If you don’t see the Boston Common location listed in your search results, that’s because it’s booked solid for that day. Good luck and happy hitting!
Jon Hanson: A lot of cracks on court 2, but it's workable. Backboard is pretty nice.
Nicolas Joly: Cracks in court with grass, fading lines.
최시영: managed nicely and like the lively mood there
Veronah Najjuko: Its a nice place to go and chill also play tennis too
Derek McDermott: Its a nice tennis court
Niq Howard: These courts stay busy with coaches showing children how to play on weekday mornings.
Andy Wong: Used to attend the Tenacity program at this location, got heckled by a homeless guy.

Titus Sparrow Park Tennis Court: what do users think?
Daniel Gulyas: Great Court. Usually not too long a wait to play.
Kimberly Baling: This is a good, easy to access tennis courts. It can get busy, so trying to find the off hours would be helpful.
Anuj Gupta: Aswm
K Smith: Court is tucked away and gets decent shade on a sunny day. There are no dead spots on the court and it feels well closed off to trap poorly hit balls. No need to feel like chasing every loose ball. There tends to be a bit of wait as there always seems to be a line.
Ryan Turner: Great place to play tennis. Rules are clearly posted and includes benches. Well maintained court, only a few things could be better.1) I wish you could reserve the court at 1 hour intervals, similar to other Boston courts. Often times I show up and the court is taken, and there are people waiting.2) There is a wall, however it doesn’t have a net line painted on so it’s basically useless.3) Smell of nearby smokers is annoying.
brianlidawg: Great place to play tennis. Friendly people and the court is well taken care of. Would reccomend!
Dub Matic: Love this park been around it for 20 years it's always fun and never need police young guys police themselves and keep it safe
SAVE OUR TREES: Tai Chi in the morning
JR Fajardo: Small but still specious park!
Michael Barnes: Great location and place for urban playing of sports walking for excersie or just admiration of the park in the heart of Boston near everything in city.
Paulo Farias: Just....
Yoni Shalev: one court, lighted. overall good condition. smell of nearby people smoking deducts one star.

Joe Moakley Park Tennis Courts: what do users think?
Dema: Good open space park. It has soccer and tennis place.
Ken Yee: Needs a brush in the Fall...too many leaves. Background is nice though and courts are in good shape.
Gav Hitchenor: For its area this park has some great open spaces as well as reservable tennis courts, soccer pitch and baseball field. Not the best maintained park you’ll find but still some nice offerings for Dorchester and Southie residents. You’ll find the odd interesting character but nothing to make you too uncomfortable.
Jason Boston: Watch out for trolls under trees and bleachers
Gennaro Pirone: Awesome
alfred Vanasse: Big wide open baseball fields , beautiful location, after june when school lets out not taken care of that often.
Heidi Donnelly: Dont play tennis but they also have a track u can walk...a football field/stadium...street hockey rink...childrens playgounds(more than 1)...baseball fields throughout...soccer fields(last sjmmer i saw them set up for some other type of game on 1 of the fields) ...trails througb the park and plenty o db trees 2 sit under n read a book.(dont fall asleep)...water bottle filling stations...no porta johns this year that ive seen but the bath house is across on carson beach...where theres a food /ice cream stand as well...usually always a game gpin on somewhere also tournaments and a kids organization...overall nice place to relax read or watch a game
ArtieThePartie: Meh could be better if they update the one farther because it has a court where one hoop is double rim and other isnt so dosnt make sense
David Calmaestra: It's free which is really good and they are well preserved but the wind there is usually crazy and there is no lights
Doug Jacobs: Only three courts, but for free public courts they are in decent shape.
Dave M.: Fresh air breeze hot shade trees and later in nite shady peeps overall good for sports and good food around
ultmate gamer: Great for tennis u can even reserve the tennis court

MIT Outdoor Tennis Courts: what do users think?
Ron Catinazzo: The lights in the bubble are the best. 4 courts a great place to play tennis.
Brian Tran: 12 pristine courts. Angled corners to block balls from going to other courts. Only problem is there are no benches. The area is nicely secluded from traffic noise.
Cherry Yang: Nets are still down as of February 23rd 2022
Abhishek Singh: 12 courts in total. Good night lighting.
Richard: I love these courts! The bubble also has inside courts in them.
Francisco Garcia: They're open again!
Felipe Jorquera: Great courts! Book a time slot in the MIT Recreation app. You need to have an MIT affiliation to do so. In COVID-19 times, it is necessary to do a check in before playing in a stand next to the entrance of the Z center.
Mario Russo: Courts look fantastic and newly renovated. Currently closed for covid
Nel: 10 courts and seems new and clean. Theres a class monday, Wednesday, and Friday for beginners that was going on but it ended at 3pm and theres plenty of space to play around them. The coach also told us that the school team has practice there everyday at 5pm but that there is usually room to play around them as well. No one bothered us and it was easy to find, right next to the soccer field and a big white dome building. Also the google pinned location is actually accurate.
MYSTIC VYBZ: Very nice been reno6.
Martin Russell: Excellent courts in a great setting
Mike Burger: Repaved and resurfaced as of fall 2018. The lights are like stadium football lights and courts are a bit close together, but they are my favorite hard courts within walking range of Kendall sq
Pratik Gajjar: Newly renovated courts. Open to public by reservation. Sun direction might not be perfect. Evening sun comes in eyes on one side of court.
Sunkanmi Famofo (famlas): Love it out there
Owen Oconnor: Really nice courts. Newly painted and no cracks. 12 courts total and you need to sign up to play but it is open to the public
cruzzer52: Very nice courts, newly refinished with fresh nets.
Ajay Raman: Not worn down but too windy and too much sun
Evelyn Deng: Nice courts with lights. Can be busy at times, especially during varsity practice times.
Marko Lõoke: Pretty good courts
TOLA Travels: Good courts, only 4 available. Looks like they are remodeling.
John Damato: I am milling up the old tennis courts today.
