Super unprofessional and a total waste of time and money, since I wasn’t able to do anything with the advice he provided since I had to hire another arborist to do the work. Ann Langone: I have used Arborway several times over the years. I will not use them again because I met with the rep in the fall. We discussed the pruning details, including the cherry in front as a hedge against the school and busy street. Months later I come home to see that a crew came by while i was at work (no call, no notice, no appointment) and pruned the cherry hard and high-- exposing my first floor windows to the street. When i called to complain the office manager said someone would call me. Days later i got the final bill which included $350 for a brace I had okayed but had not been done. When i called the office manager back he said i should look again, lots of folks don't see it. days later i did talk to someone else who said the tree looked great to him, that i should have also written down my instructions again when the invoice came and that i would be happy when the flowers came out in the spring. He said he did not know if the brace was there or not- he was not looking for it. He would look into it. Arborway tree does not take any responsibility for the way they operate and for the fact that i did not get what i asked for. That brace was not there but the bill clearly says it was installed on a certain date and I owe x amount. No "Sorry about that" from them. I don't doubt they know their trees. But the customer service is terrible and Arborway does not care.
