Zinneken's Belgian waffles: what do users think?
Pitipat Wongsittikan: Delicious waffles, fresh fruits. A little bit of a wait, but not too bad.
Vusal Ahadzada: Last week I tried waffles in Zinneken's and just fell in love :)
Grace Gong: it tasted good but my ex and I met up here so idk how I feel abt it after that
Matt S: Great waffle!
Sara Yirga: Loved the waffles, berries were fresh and yummy!! My nephew enjoyed it too.
Finn Parr: AMAZING WAFFLES and well run.
Quang Tran: This was nice.
Lenny Euler: these waffles are amazing. Fast service in person and if you deliver honestly they travel well. So good. Must have
Jane Han: my favorite Belgian waffle, the best one in the US so far. You’ve got to try it with their icecream 🍨
The Vibe: Wonderful. Excellent quality waffles and they are constantly making them so it comes out within a couple of minutes. Great variety and options!
Stephanie Dufresne: I love the waffle with Nutella and bananas!
Shahid Abdulaziz: Really good waffles and kind staff! Not too expensive either, which is nice.
Xiaoyin Wang: Visited after dinner on a raining and snowing night. Felt like a home. Desert was great!
Abby Elliott: Great waffles. Could work on the quality check when you charge $1.25 for whipped cream that you actually put it on the waffles.
Carlos Blanco: Overpriced waffles, no wifi, and snooty employees.Might as well grab an eggo and sit of twitter for an equivalent experience.
rafael paes: This place is so charmy! Nearby Cambridge square t station, the place is small, just few tables to seat and is always full of people! The waffle is really good! The dough is really soft and have the perfect balance! They don't have wifi there and they have one restroom inside! We spent around 8 dollars for the waffle! And around 5 for the coffee!
Susan Dahl: Can't beat waffles... best on earthTry them all!! Delicious worth!!Friendly, helpful, every biteMade your choice to come just right!
Cameron Yee-Jones: Zinnekens is absolutely wonderful and the best spot in Harvard Square for a mid-afternoon snack or dessert. You can smell the sugar caramelizing from at least a block away and the waffles fully live up to that smell! The owners are wonderful and extremely generous and devoted to making beautiful and delicious waffles of the best quality. The tea selection is also the best you will find around. This is one of the absolute gems in Harvard Square
Robert Naccarella: Amazing Belgian waffles. Large choice of toppings. They also have a pretty spectacular selection of teas too. Very small space. Was not crowded when we met, but I can only imagine how crowded this must get during peak hours. Regardless, if you like waffles, it is a "can't miss" place!
Shardul Telharkar: One of the go-to places for waffles in Boston!I love the waffle texture, taste and the way it blends with the flavors. One concern is the lack of flavors: broadly they offer fruit based flavors added with chocolate and icecream. As a foodie, I would expect something like pistachio, coffee, walnuts, etc. (maybe they can keep them as temporary Specials?)The seating area is limited, so I’d first call them in case the group is bigger than 5 folks.Rest assured, I’m addicted to their Banana Nutella Waffle with Icecream!
mahsa nasri: Awesome place in a snowy day!

The Friendly Toast Restaurant: what do users think?
Alicia Jimenez: I had breakfast and it was good, but please dont let that fool you. I knew a few employees who worked there and they told me most of their facilities are infested with cockroaches and mice. This is disgusting, I wish I would have known that before eating here. It disgusts me everytime I think about it. Uuuuggghhh🤢

Ralph Aguilera: The first thing they tell us is the wait is an hour and a half - that’s totally worth waiting for.The hospitality of the place is really off the charts. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was loud, but inviting. Shane was our waiter. He was the best. Great vibe and in a great spot if you’re visiting Boston.
Kenny Fuller: Super cool restaurant! Everyone is extremely friendly and down to earth. Food is to die for and I would definitely recommend the Carmel macchiato pancakes. They also have a fantastic drink menu.
Julie: Shoutout to Kye at the Boston location. She is one of the most personable and caring waitresses I’ve run into. She was obviously very busy but took extra time to chat with us and make us feel welcome. The banana pancakes and New Hampshire scramble were excellent! We were told there might be a 25 minute wait on a Thursday morning but it ended up being shorter than that.Parking: Less than a block from the garage at 100 Clarendon St.
JJ KANG: The service and food were both amazing ! Even though we usually don’t like waiting in line, I understand why people are queue up to eat here. In fact, it was worth the wait!
Jahmira Clarke: I ordered 2 eggs any style with bacon , home fries & toast and it was good in taste , not big in portion size .

Trinity Machan: Food was good no doubt about that. However the the service is a joke I have never been rushed to pay my bill with a waitress hovering over me demanding if I was using a credit card or debt. When she brought me my bill I was on a business call instead of waiting the 2 minutes it took for me to get off the phone than bringing it she insisted on trying to talk over me asking how my food was. This has to be the worst service I have ever received.
Tim Mohr: Great brunch in back bay. Price reasonable and good perfect

Priscilla Ababio: I was not impressed at all. My French toast was very eggy and did not even look appealing. The server I can’t even find words for she would place drinks, utensils and syrup at the corner of the table this caused me to have to reach over the table multiple times to grab things. The only plus side was my girlfriend enjoyed her bagel and pancakes.
Amber Decker: We were visiting, and on our last morning, we popped into Thornton’s with our two young children. The entire staff was so friendly. Susette was our server, she was gracious and quick to take care of us. There was a tall man who was super friendly, as well, and really everyone just had a smile and a great demeanor. This will definitely be an every time stop for us whenever we visit Beantown!
Jessica Lee: It was my first time in Boston and everything was so overpriced so going to Thornton's I wasn't expecting too much. South Street Diner: what do users think?
Veronica M: The cause of being an out of towner and making too many wrong turns led me to this magnificent gem of a diner. South Street Diner has everything right going for it. There was a line to enter the diner at 2 am and doormen to facilitate a smooth and steady transition into the diner. The food is very fresh, looks great and tastes amazing when you crave a late evening 2am breakfast meal. Last but not to say the least, from the line cooks to the serves were excellent. It has The most chill vibes from their synergy of providing above and beyond style of excellent service. I was very happy just watching the ladies work like the ants do without any qualms if someone accidently ordered twice. You see everything being cooked in front of you and the sounds and smells of sizzling food orders were making me crave for it even more. It was just fluid and everyone got along in harmony with a high volume of food orders being requested and everyone sang along with the music that was jammin' from the jukebox. The customers were singing in tune from separate tables. Beautiful! I wish all places were like this. It has the real family feel while dining there and not just the feed the people and grab your cash kind of deal. The prices are affordable $-$$ for an individual order. This was an accident that turned into a blessing. I was sad leave to continue my journey home because a few more wrongs turns were awaiting me ahead. LolPlease check out South Street Diner and support these hardworking ladies because we do not need another amazing such as this one closing down. I am happy just remembering this diner. Thank you to everyone working at South Street Diner for being the best at what you do.It is a small diner that is worth squeezing into. It did not have a ramp or wheelchair accessible entrance. A few steps to enter the diner. Street parking only.

Mike & Patty's: what do users think?
Robb Morford: I'm about to post publicly a thought I've never had in my life. "Wow, that English muffin is so good!!" I had the classic sandwich with breakfast and loved every bite. The neighborhood around this place is super interesting too. Grab a coffee and walk around!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Karl Stratos: The best part about this place is the convenience. The food comes out freshly prepared fast. You'd have to go through a lot of nonsense to get this level of food if you go to a sit-down restaurant. The sandwich itself is pretty good, but I wouldn't call it the best sandwich of my life or anything like that as some folks seem to be saying (I've had much better). For a small sandwich over 10 bucks, it's not exactly cheap either, but the convenience more than makes up for it.
Brad Takala: This place is fantastic. If I don’t have breakfast at home I order a sandwich for pickup. My go to is The Baller and I order Breakfast Crack when I want to mix it up. The lines outside attest to how good they are. Order ahead!
Sarabeth Spitzer: Unparalleled Boston breakfast sandwiches. Could hang with the best of them in NYC. You truly cannot go wrong- everything is delicious, amazingly priced, fresh ingredients, lovely crew. Worth a visit (or dozens)

steve cardona: I’d give it ten stars if I could. Everything is good. All of the ingredients are good quality and carefully chosen and it all tastes fresh. Can’t go wrong with any option. Will make it a point to visit every time I’m in Boston.
Austin A: Tiny little corner spot with breakfast and lunch offerings. The menu is slightly limited and repetitive. Everything is hot and fresh and tasty, just don't expect a sit down cafe area with fast service. Place can only handle 3-5 people inside at once, pour your own coffee and get your own juice out of the fridge. More of and go or call ahead.
Joseph Meyer: Damn this is delicious. The chef even had me try the bacon…. Make no mistake, this is not regular bacon, it is rich, Smokey thick bacon… delicious
E.: Second time i visited Boston and second time i tried this place. First time i had the breakfast grill crack sandwich and this time i had Carolina caviar. 10/10 soo good . Their chocolate milk is also soo good and I’m lactose intolerant 😂😂 my boyfriend also liked the cold brew 👍🏼

Valerie Viengngeune: Right in the heart of Chinatown. Small lil spot but lots of hype around this place. We tried the waffles and it was an experience especially for the kids. Can never go wrong with waffles and ice cream or Nutella with strawberries.
Jeffrey Harris: Tasty on both fronts
carya johnson: Best Best Best waffles and boba. The waffles were so soft and sweet and there was so many different varieties to choose from which made it even better, they were also nicely sized and came out so perfect. Renée Ọmọladé: This was amazing! Great team and great vibe.
Nicholas Rabchenuk: Amazing food and drink. Great taste, and plenty of variety. Easily the best Boba in town, and the waffles are simply amazing!
Ian Larkin: Fantastic boba and some delicious waffles 🤤
Richard Patterson: The best dessert cafe in Chinatown, including mouthwatering waffles and boba. I visited after seeing a featured Instagram post about one of their beverages and was impressed. I ordered the Cookie Monster waffles and the Lychee Twilight Lemonade, and the combination was very delicious. The crunchy toppings made up for the waffle's lack of particularly crispy edges. Although I wished I had opted for a standard boba drink instead of a lemonade, the lemonade's light flavor went well with the waffle. Highly recommended if you're in the area and want to take a beautiful picture of your dessert that also tastes delicious.

Milkweed: what do users think?
Lynsey Kirk: Milkweed is a great spot for breakfast/brunch or lunch (I haven't tried the dinner). The food was well made but was just a little under seasoned, but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. I tried the salmon cakes and grits. The cakes were flavorful and crispy on the outside. The grits were cheesy with a slightly sweet finish, which may be off-putting to some, but I liked it. I did add a little salt though. The dish is served with scrambled eggs, which were fine. The breakfast sausage is good too.The service was fine, they could have been a little more attentive. The restaurant is busy, that's for sure, and there are long wait times, so go early or maybe call ahead. The atmosphere is nice, compact. A little noisy, but you can easily hold a conversation.Street parking only and not much availability.
Sel: The food was mediocre, coffee was watered down. There was also a strand of hair in my food. Service was ok

Eric Ding: Milkweed is a cute little place in Mission Hills and a decent spot to get brunch in the area. The menu isn't groundbreaking by any means (pretty standard American fare) but the food is solid and the wait staff is attentive and warm. It can get a little loud since the tables are close together if you're not sitting at a booth, but otherwise it was a good meal and I'd come back. I appreciate their breakfast being served well into the afternoon.
Sincere Yemaya: My server was really nice but there was here inside of my food and also inside of my cappuccino
Victoria Antoine (Mademoiselle Antoine): Very cute spot for Sunday brunch with a good friend who you haven't seen for a while. I highly recommended milk weed. Very intimate and cute small spot at Mission Hill.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Vincent Cheung: Great for a casual breakfast or a date spot! All of the food coming out smelled amazing so it was hard to decide what to get. We ultimately decided on trying some of their specialties. The shakshuka was very tasty and paired well with the bread. My only critique is that I wish the bread was served on the side instead of in the pan because by the time it got to the table the pillowy bread already got soggy (still very tasty) in the parts submerged in the shakshuka. The Dutch baby had the perfect fluffy texture and paired well with the small mountain of strawberries and whipped ricotta. The service was nice and quick so no complaint there. My advice would be to get there on the earlier side because when we got seated around 10:30 we didn’t have to wait but by the time we left there was a 30-45 min wait.
Sang Cho: Hairy calamari 😭
Juerg Maier: Great place to get an all American Breakfast, including espresso grade coffee
anna yamamoto: Went here for lunch and had the Spanish omelette. The food was great and you get a huge portion for what you pay. The bread especially was very crispy and tasted great! The omelette was fluffy and full of filling. The potatoes were a little cold and bland but not bad.

Sarrah Marcotte: This is a sweet spot, classic brunch spot. Great brunch and great drinks. I love taking people here because its such a fun environment and they have reasonable prices. There is often a wait, but that is to be expected at places worth eating at I feel like, It is definitely busy for good reason.
VW: Waited almost 2 hours and finished in 30 minutes since it is so loud in store (be careful yelp user, even if you stay in line online, you still need to check-in in person in order to be on the “Real” line.)Not the worse but not the best… Hot Chocolate however is SOOO watery and bad, they are basically selling Swiss miss for $6…. Tatte has wayyyy better hot cocoa with real melted style chocolate. No substitutions, you will be charge extra for home fries replacement (didn’t notice until bill come). Won’t be coming again since most of the items can be made at home, and it’s just not worth the wait on a nice Sunday.

Brenda Franquiz: Breakfasts was so delicious the home fries had an earthy sweet taste and the chocolate chip pancakes were delicious even without syrup 😋 👌 Definitely going back.
Azra Villon: Came in for breakfast & order took too long to come out to the table. I lost my appetite & left.
Rosemary Wu: Absolutely fantastic!!! We got three dishes and two drinks. The service is very nice and fast. Workers all have the best attitudes ever. It was so affordable too. The food was absolutely deliciousRecommended dishes Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Dutch Baby Pancake, Falafel Shakshuka …More

Whitney Gumbs: (accidentally posted this review from my other account- reposting here with the right account).SO WORTH IT.I visited Milkweed yesterday and man was it good! The portion was quite filling. I would say the flavor is spot on. We enjoyed a croissant sando and all the items we added were tasty. I only wish the sandwich was warmer? But I digress. The service was great and the food came out pretty quick. We went for a breakfast. The prices were reasonable (not crazy for boston) We essentially spent 60 bucks on two people and we each got two shareable plates, two individual plates and drinks. Parking was fine but then again we went on a Friday morning. Definitely go early.Parking: Parking wasn’t bad for a Friday morning. I imagine it does get busier. Go early and on a weekday!
Andrés Duplat: Next time you come here just check in the Yelp app and check in the restaurant, their waiting list system does not work and you will get frustrated. Do yourself a favor and just check in the restaurant

Jude Heichelbech: Don’t arrive early. They won’t seat you. If you find an empty table and try to sit for a moment, the bouncer will grab you by the arm and lift you up! If you try to dance for the last song of the night, staff will come and tell you to stop because they don’t have a “license” for that. After you eat, they’ll remove half your table area to give to others. Also, as others have noted, I saw a mouse run right past a nearby patron’s feet. Our waiter was great. But I found the house staff pretty rude, aggressive and patriarchal. Weird vibe. Will avoid in the future. Too bad! Cool building/live music, decent food/cocktails.
Carlos Ditren: Love it!
Nate Stafford: This place was amazing. Atmosphere was great! Waiter was super friendly and the food was delicious. The only thing to balk at was the price but it was Easter Sunday Brunch so thats my fault for letting the wife convince me to go.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Vegetarian menu or section …More
Sharon Markowitz: Food was ok, salmon was a bit too charred. Drink not great and server didn’t notice not drinking a $16 drink. Jazz not good.
Aurélie: Literally MICE running AROUND AND THE BARTENDER SAID NOTHING
Sharon Bao: Amazing live music spot! Great drinks as well. Some of the entrees were hit or miss for me, but I think the ambiance more than makes up for it. Try to get in a little early if you want to watch the show. I think the later you come in, the worse seats you get.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jennease Hyatt: So I went to beehive late last night and the vibe was super cute. Band was about to wrap up, waiter was friendly. The drink was AMAZING!!! I'm sitting in full view of the kitchen and suddenly I see mice running all around and I'm like, whoa, ok. They seem to be having party of sorts. I had paid for my drink at this point and I call to the waitress who helped us to tell her what I was seeing. Apparently this was common and she said the manager would come over. The manager never showed up, but two young men dressed in all black did and at this point I am now pointing out the mice running up and down the curtains and the ones in plain view of us while we were talking. And he's like, yea, we've called an exterminator, etc... and I was like, sir! I've seen like 10 mice prancing about, this is just not ok! I couldn't believe how casually ok they were about what was clearly an infestation. Not ok!!!
Sabrina Arguello: I’ve been coming to the Beehive for a few years now and each time is a wonderful and unique experience. I love this spot and I especially love the jazz music that is played throughout the night. Such an awesome spot to have a good drink, great company, and amazing food.
Joana C: Boa vibe, boa música, atendimento rápido.Comida, zero estrelas.
Erin Quinn: Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict with Ham, Eggs ShakshukaMore
Alex Drake (Adrake1234): Food was significant subpar and the drinks we definitely less then that. Over all spent way to much money for atmosphere. Would suggest for vibe. Would not suggest for food or drinkFood: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Wacky Alpacas: Let me first say- prior to tonight Beehive was my absolute favorite restaurant in Boston that I always recommended every out of town visitor to visit. After tonight that is no longer the case.Long story short- our waiter brought us the check before our dinner even arrived at the table. We were very confused but he said it was something about him being “cut”? I asked if I could get another drink before we paid our very early check and he said no, but he told us another waiter would be with us for the rest of the night. Fast forward 30 minutes and no new waiter came and I still didn’t have a drink. My partner got up and asked another staff member for a waiter y they said someone would be right over. We waited another 15, no one came, so we asked someone else and they sent a very stressed out waiter over who ended up giving us the wrong drinks and never came to check in about them.I am so disappointed because this used to be my all time favorite restaurant in Boston for years and it seems they have prioritized making money on increasing capacity over customer experience.**** also important to note- they added standing room in the middle of the downstairs- so unless you are seated in front of the stage/mezzanine you will not see/hear the live music anymore
Geno Brown: It’s a vibe here. Went on a Thursday night and enjoyed the people and music. Get your reservations in earlier or just show up and grab a seat at the bar.
