Precision Watch Works LLC: what do users think?
Tenzin Thai: Amazing guy!!! Unfortunately he doesn’t service Seiko watches, he offers to change my battery and when I asked if he takes any electronic payments he said no and since I had no cash he was kind enough to understand and didn’t take any payments. 10/10 service!!!
Matt Crane: Was there today to have a watch serviced. Nicholas was a thorough professional and very generous with his time. Diagnosed an issue with my watch which had not been solved elsewhere, and advised on alternative courses of action to address the issue. He wouldn't accept payment on this instance, and if I ever need the services of a top professional, I'll be sure to look him up.
baberuth2863: didnt have anything done. but i asked questions and they explianed stuff and were very honest. if my new watch needs work im going there as now i now i can trust them. great people
T W: The place is on 4th floor. Unit 421 to be exact. The gentleman there said he doesn’t service the brand my watch is from, but offered to demagnetize it free of charge. The inaccuracy was cut down dramatically.
Ava: Great guy! We really appreciate what you did. I recommend his shop for watches that needs repair.
Vu Nguyen: Nicholas is a wizard with watches!
Laura Donovan: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueNicholas was extremely helpful and if your watch can be fixed, he'll do it. Amazing service.
Jordan Fallman: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessNicholas is the best in Boston! He is highly skilled and very dependable. He was able to repair an unusual movement malfunction quickly and at a fair price. He actually fabricated a missing piece in-shop! Highly recommended. Looking forward to working with him again.
Stefano Zanoncello: Extremely professional, knowledgeable, fairly priced, and quick. Couldn’t be any happier!
Sam Xu: I recently had my 16570 serviced by Nicholas at Precision Watch Works. I am very meticulous about my watch and I have been extremely pleased with this repair. Thank you! -Sam
Collin Gray: I highly recommend coming here for any watch related issue - the owner is friendly, highly skilled, and very professional. He thoroughly explained all of the issues that I was experiencing with my watch and fixed them on the spot.
kirtesh wagulde: I didnt had Rolex to repair but had fairly expensive Movado to change its battery. Guy was simply amazing and he changed batteries quickly and professionally. He only accepts cash and offered me to pay it later when I have cash. Guy is just amazing! I highly reccomend to get your watch repaired before you throw that off. It only cost me 10 bucks.
Sally Strickland: Oh man!!! What a sweet gyes! Came in to get my watch resized because I was in the area. Got in, got it sized within 5 minutes. It was time for me to pay $5 when I realized I didn't have any cash on me. I offered to go to ATM to pay and the gyes would not accept my offer and just told me to come back if I have any other watch issues. For sure I'll be coming back!!!!
That Family: Mr. Trahadias is qualified to undertake any repair on any grade timepiece you have. He is certified and current with the highest industry standards. Nick is also willing to discuss your needs and explain the repair in detail. If you are interested in caring for your watches they way that they deserve... then you should not contemplate using any other watchmaker. I have never been dissapointed with the watch service or the customer service at Precision Watch Works
john drummond: Nicholas is the best watchmaker in the business, hands down. I have utilized his services for almost 20 years without a hitch. Precision is the only place I would consider using for high end watch repair.
Top Realtor Joseph Bograd: I've been purchasing & servicing my watches at Precision Watches for over 8 years & I must say my experience has been 2nd to none. Their staff is attentive & their inventory is ahead of its time. If you're looking for a timepiece, Precision Watches is Numero uno!!!

The Watchmaker: what do users think?
Mario NOVA: Sameshit different location.. customer service 4 🌟
Walter Zanchuk: Very helpful and professional.
Scott George: I've sent in multiple watches for repair over the years. I recently sent in my wive's Amber wrist watch and came back working again and looking beautiful as ever. Thanks once again
Mark Tonello: The owner Dave, could not have been more obliging to make me a happy customer. Manufacturer sent the last strap in inventory made for my Swiss Army 2003 watch but it did not fit. He then took the time to go through his entire inventory to find a strap to fit a very unique size. Dave got it done and for a fraction of the original Swiss Army cost of their own strap.
Steve Saxe: Brad and G and G are really the best. My Aquanot is awesome!
Ken Bauer: Excellent service !!!
Curtis Price: Great experience!! Could not get my local AD to help with a replacement strap for my Oris. Called and had no issue with getting what I needed. Shipped it out quick and its installed and looks great on the watch. You have earned my business. Thanks again
jonathan ortiz: Excellent service help me out with my first watch Would recommend.
Parker Siddall: Purchased an item from their website. Was notified later that the website didn't represent their actual inventory and that I would need to wait a minimum of two months to receive the item I purchased or I could request a refund. They were timely and offered a quick refund upon my request.
dennis sagwitz: expensive! make sure you get a quote cause they charge a premium....3 batteries and 2 screws...40 bucks..I found out years later they charged me for 3 batteries and guess what..my Suunto only takes 1 battery. Scammers?
R. D. Davison: My Omega Seamaster 300 Pro was in need of a complete service and restoration (Not running, Dial moving around, bezel completely faded, Helium valve broken). Haven't worn it in over 10 years. So, I stopped in and spoke with David. After he and his team assessed what needed to be done, David suggested that he send it back to Omega for service. His thinking was it would cost me less. Any additional parts needing replacement that were unseen during his estimate process would most likely be included if sent back to Omega, rather than doing the work in his shop.He was spot on! My watch was ready for pick up more than a month earlier than anticipated and runs and looks brand new! I'm sure he made a few bucks for brokering this restoration. I'm more than good with that.I have a few other time pieces needing work and I'll absolutely bring them to The Watchmaker.
byrnep100: I bought a ladies Hamilton watch at The Watchmaker and am very pleased with it. The man who helped me was very knowledgeable didn’t pressure me to purchase. I recommend them and if I need a repair or a new battery, or even another watch, I’ll go there for it.
Shelly Granite-Smith: The Watchmaker is a disappointment. He should have made it right but made it worse. Gives misleading information then requires you pay for his error. I have taken my business to a shop with accountability to promise. Pen name used for reviews for privacy.
John Howe: I would not bring my Rolex anywhere else. I have been to other places with it and have been disappointed.
Real McCoy: Photo attached for verification of this review. Please see Oris Mechanical Altimeter watch next to print on FedEx mailer showing return address of The Watchmaker. Names have been blocked out to follow Google review posting regulations. Our watch collections matter to us in a potent and special way that only other serious collectors understand. We are different from one another in many ways still there is an essential kinship and understanding of the significance of the small and ensconced meshing of gears, wheels and springs and all that goes in to the sporting of such finery. Shipping watches for service is a unique area of life and of maintenance. We all know the concerns over trustworthiness and each of us has looked carefully at all we could find about a service source prior to that shipping out of a timepiece that holds a key position in our possessions. It is difficult to write out the details of how Dave of The Watchmaker broke his promise. There are gray areas that he attempted to hide in, but as we know, what happens concerning the tracking of time will soon come out into the light. He seems a fairly good man and decent hand at repair. It is surprising that he felt confident, maybe smug, in directly turning against his own written agreement in email body exchange. Most people are alert to potential consequences of that legal record. More important than this, because we often do not meet the technicians and shop owners who do the wonderful craftsmanship, we truly depend on their word. I have come to work with a number of watch repair companies that have proven good for their promise and also legitimately fair in navigating the unexpected discovery in a watch's condition. The shops have different strong-suits and I am careful about what wrist clock is sent to which establishment and for what attention.Part of what made Dave feel he would get away with this breach of contract is that the dollar amount is small enough that he saw no way it could come back for justice. Theft is a wrong that has many effects. The damages to my time are the largest impact as first I was communicating with Oris in Switzerland, than the Watchmaker and it took more than 45 days to arrive at a word from Dave to ship.I am replacing an original special clasp band that opens too easily on a heavy watch that should be secure through a rough airplane landing. My feeling was that Oris would like to make that replacement or adjustment to a different type of buckle for the sake of future business and general brand mojo management. It turns out that the Watchmaker forgot to confirm the origin of the watch and backed out of promise when Oris left it to him to cover his agreement.I enjoy securing time pieces from various vendors and even a good trade when fortuitous circumstances allow. This was from a reputable gray market specialist watch seller and when Oris would not cover Dave's shoddy deal-making for fair market supply reasons that I accept, Dave stepped back and broke his written word. He needed to follow-though because he had me ship. I provided all detail he requested and he forgot to have Oris check the serial number in the lengthy upfront negotiations by email. It may seem like a small detail, but as you know, the principles of life show where they will and we have learned several things about The Watchmaker in Peabody. It is the lavish professionalism that Dave uses in communication that makes me most uncomfortable as the tide rolls out and the character gap is revealed. Beware fancy highwaymen who do much well but then see an angle against you and think they can squeak it by.
T L: These guys are hacks and overpriced. Hard believe their open still
Mike: Best place to get your timepiece fixed!
John Lane: I have used The Watchmaker for years. They are friendly and knowledgeable. When my watches need service, I feel safe having them cared for by The Watchmaker's well-qualified team.
monica barrett: Dave and his crew are the BEST!!! We are in the same industry and work with them constantly for watch service. If you are in the area, they are a gem of a shop!
Conor Gomes: I was just going in to change some batteries. However, the staff seemed very knowledgeable, kind, and sincere.
Ford Vongpunsawad: I brought in my less than two-month old Hamilton watch to have it fixed. The store owner asked me pertinent questions regarding my watch. After hearing me, he suggested I may want to reach out to Hamilton for under warranty service. If he (even though an authorized dealer) were to service my watch it may void remaining warranty and there would be a minimum service charge. He was very kind and gave me both the Hamilton contact and packaging materials to send my watch. I did not spend money in his store, but he gave me an unparalleled service. I highly recommend him and his store for all your watch needs. I will go back to him for my future watch needs. His store has many watches and looks very cool.

Tourneau Copley Place: what do users think?
TcLe: The Tourneau store at Copley Place deserved a 5 star. Not because of it location but due to their professional and excellency. I have the best first impression with John Winer (Jack) and Mohamed Moselhy, these two professional sellers are very attentive to detail and very knowledgeable about Rolex history. I learned a lot from them within the first hour and I was very impressed that they are not just answered my questions but they also showed me products that they currently have. Despite I did not get the watch that I am looking for (Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36mm in 18K yellow gold), but I end up bought a Date-Just 31mm two tone for my wife and she love it!In addition, I also met with Mr. Cameron the store director and he was very pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend anyone thinking buying watch especially Rolex brand, you should try out this place and you won’t be regret. You may not get what you want but the service that you will receive is top notch. I will visit this store more often to meet the people work there because they are not just professional but they make me feel like one of their family member. Thanks to the security man as well, sorry can’t remember his name but he was nice and open the door for us! Feel blessing! Once again, thanks to Tourneau staff at Copley Place for your top notch services and professionalism! Will see you soon. Take care.Tommy
Sean Whiteley: For a long time I’ve always wanted a Rolex. it’s always been a dream of mine. I called Lia at Tourneau Copley Place and told her the story of myself in the Army as an Infantryman. I served 4 combat tours in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kosovo. I am in a place to afford such a watch and if she could please help me with procuring one. With the help of Lia and her Director Hugh they quickly were able to make my dream become a reality. Thankyou for everything you both have done. I couldn’t ask for a more professional team,Sean
Daniel Lavoie: Waiting in a line to get into this store is outrageous. Get more employees or figure it out. There’s no reason to lose money because it takes 30 minutes to wait for other people to browse. There are better watch stores with more impressive history, selection, and knowledgeable employees within walking distance. Skip the line. Skip the BS and shop anywhere else. Even prefer online.
Peter Anderholm: What a miserable experience. I was excited to go look at watches and spend some money but the tall white haired saleswoman was unfriendly, stared at her phone, disinterested, and otherwise impolite. I will never go back.
Michael Semeraro: Stopped in to get my watch band fixed, quick prompt service from Hugh, exceeded expectations.
Robert Wei: I want to thank Anna and Lea so much for all their help purchasing a new watch to commemorate the birth of my child!Throughout the entire experience, Anna and Lea were so kind, attentive and supportive. I wanted a very specific timepiece that was uncommon to obtain and they were so great at checking in via text to let me know they were working on it! To my disbelief, they were able to find the watch for me and it was made during the same month and year that my child was born; something I can’t wait to tell them when I pass it down to them!Once they received the watch, Lea reached out immediately to let me know and I worked with Anna to purchase it. Anna really made the experience truly special, not only was she so kind and asked questions about my newborn but she made the purchase feel like a VIP experience from the presentation to the boxing to our farewell.I really loved working with Anna and Lea. They are such pleasant, knowledgable and kind people that make watch shopping feeling like something fun and that you’re doing it with very close friends.I look forward to working with both of them again.
JASON CLARK: Shopping before the holidays and decided to stop in just to browse. I was met by Anna. She was honest about the availability of some of the watches I was looking at but took all my information, didn’t make any promises but said “you never know”.Fast forward a couple weeks later, Anna texted me a couple of models. Honestly I was shocked. I was still waiting 18 months at another Rolex dealer for a watch after buying numerous watches and jewelry from them in the past. It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for but how could I say no? I came to the store met with Cameron. I learned more about Rolex in the hour with him then I ever did with the jeweler. I had the watch shipped, I had some issues with delivery. Cameron and Anna both reached out to me by text and email, to help with getting the watch to me. Finally today I received my new watch. It’s all about building relationships , being honest and most importantly the sale never ends when it is paid for. I really appreciate what they have done for me! Thank you Anna and Cameron!
Aaron Shi: Anna has been nothing short of phenomenal to work with. She always kept me in the loop and assisted my watch collection journey to obtain quite a few important pieces for myself and family members. My latest acquisition is the 800-piece limited JLC blue dial Master Control Calendar. I found out about this piece too late, and even JCL told me the inventory has been sold out. Anna once again came to my rescue and procured it for me... I will be passing this one to my offspring.
Jaron Wright: I had a fantastic experience at the Tourneau store at Copley Place Yesterday. After months of research, I was finally able to check out various watch models and geek out with other watch enthusiasts. The store itself is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly professional and friendly. Mr. Cameron, the store director, was a pleasure to talk to and I will definitely be visiting the store again to see him and the rest of the team. He made me feel like part of the family. He has a genuine passion for watches and knows pretty much everything you would want to know about the model you are looking at. I went in just to have some fun and get some time with the watches. But to my surprise, I left the store with my dream watch and I am absolutely thrilled with it. If you're considering buying a watch, especially your dream watch, I highly recommend checking out this store. You won't be disappointed. Thank you again to the Tourneau team at Copley Place for your excellent service and professionalism. I'll see you soon! Take care.
Donald Loch: Racist location. Visited Thursday December 29th. 3 members of staff available, all twiddling their thumbs and smirking smugly at me. No one offered to assist. Felt belittled the entire time.
MJ Cramer: I cannot say enough good things about the service we received at Tourneau Copley...our sales professional, Anna (as well as Lea) literally produced a miracle in finding this beautiful Rolex for my husband's birthday--- we will be more than happy to return to Tourneau for future purchases. A find!!!
Brett Russman: I worked with a woman named Lea and she was amazing! Super knowledgeable and patient, she helped answer all my questions about my watch. I highly recommend working with her
Aaron Rothbard: I have bought several times from this store in Copley. I work close by and the other day I meandered in for a browse. Kinda just loved how a specific panerai wore on me. I was really back and forth on making that final decision to purchase. I decided I would wait and see if I could find one pre owned because my friend told me he got his for far less brand new and at a discount. The sales associate got really upset. He called me out saying I wasted his time and that he could have been helping someone else and I kept them waiting. It was incredibly uncomfortable to the point I almost bought it! definitely won’t be going back here again. Just scary and unpleasant, not the experience I expect when Purchasing a luxury item. Funny enough looking back several times a have felt shooed off or made uncomfortable by staff there. I ended up buying the watch 2 weeks later…… but online from the panerai website. I felt compelled to leave this review because I was genuinely concerned for my well being in that store by one particular salesman. He was menacing, and flew from smile salesman to what honestly felt devil like. Goosebumps thinking about him and my experience with him. Stay far far away, at least during the work week……… I was there at lunchtime.
Daniel Sieck: Though I purchased my watch at a Tourneau in NY, I brought it to the Boston location for service and they were very friendly and attentive. I’ve had a great experience with the customer service at Tourneau in general and the Copley store is no exception.
Abdallah Abrar: I recently bought a watch from the Copley Place store. I was treated with the most upmost respect and care. Thank you for having associates that truly care and are very knowledgeable:)
Scott Lightfoot: Mohamed is great. Took the time to let me look at serval watches until I found the exact one that would work for me. I appreciate his patient demeanor and expertise in guiding me. Very highly recommended.
Henry Perez: I just recently made a very sentimental purchase from Tourneau Boston at Copley place. I have been working hard all my life to purchase a true luxury Swiss timepiece.I walked in with my wife and our 1 year old daughter Hailey. We were treated as if we were long time friends by Mohamed, who has the most wonderful and charming charisma, simply wonderful.I wanted to purchase a DJ41 but after trying it on, I felt it was a smidge too big, I ended up going with what was technically my third option - a yacht master 40 in SS/Platinum.I am so happy Mohamed allowed me to try it on without making me feel rushed or pushed to purchase, I took my time while being conscious of other customers in the store.Since I bought the watch I’ve had a gleaming smile on my face that I just cannot get over, I am completely smitten by my “yachty” as I lovingly call it. It is absolutely STUNNING.Thank you so much for treating us so wonderfully. Mohamed knows I’ll be back soon as I am considering another purchase, I fight the urge to return on a daily basis as I also am carefully watching the market.Thank you so much to the team at Tourneau, amazing staff all.All my very best,Henry and Marian Perez
William Russell: I have been looking for a specific Rolex for over a year. I have missed several once in lifetime events to celebrate. I told him I am looking for a surprise. I had been to 3 stores in Boston on vacation and was on “waiting list” at 4 of my local ADs. Every AD has always told me they have NOTHING in stock, exhibition only. They have the exact one I wanted but on exhibition. Polar Explorer 2!!! This is first I have seen since I began my search. When I asked Hugh if they have ANYTHING in stock he mentioned the Cellini Moonphase. This is first time seeing in person and I had to try it on. It had all the checks of a nice watch I was interested in. White dial, solid rose gold, alligator strap, meteorite on the face. So even though it was not a high interest item for most, I loved it. Once on my wrist I had to get it.So this was my first Rolex purchase and first of my now started watch collection.Hopefully not too long I can finally get the polar I have been chasing!!!Hugh and Tourneau, thanks for the beautiful timepiece. It will be my daily until I get the polar. Also, my Toddler daughter loves it as well. One day she will wear it too!!!Thanks again
Carmen Wong: Second time at this store and came with the intention of leaving my interest. Since I knew the drill, I walked up to the door and was about to ask if we could get in line behind the gentleman by the entrance to enter. The door guard only pointed and said "line" gruffly. His attitude was uncalled for and ruined my interest in being a patron.
Stephen Mccolpin: I want to say first you're only getting five stars because of Mohammad. I came to Boston for my daughter's surgery at Boston children. I was looking for a Rolex and trying to set a time via email with no luck or reply. Where I am from we don't have a Rolex AD anymore and the closest is over 4+ hrs away. So my family and I went to the Boston store location and no one would chat with me. Mohammad saw us and came over to chat. He informed me that they had no new men's Rolex in stock but had a few women in stock. I told him I was looking for me and he showed me the pre-owned area. Mohammad immediately opened the boxes and let me try on a few different Rolex watches. I decided on one and he went to ring it up and go thru all the information with me. He sized the watch and made it a perfect fit for me. When I was about to leave I suggested to him to show me the new women's Rolex watches and he did so very promptly and let me hold and decide if I wanted it and answered all my questions. You know what I did next? I bought my wife a Rolex from Mohammad. He did the same and went thru everything with my wife. Mohammad made the experience amazing. I also explained how I don't have an AD and he said no problem you can call us and we will send a box and service your family Rolex no problem. Mohammad is an amazing person and great value to your company and this location!
Lauren Jorgensen: My partner and I went here today to try a watch he was interested in. We were greeted by an incredible rude doorman, and when we asked if they had a specified brand before waiting on the 20 minute line, said “I don’t answer questions about inventory.” We then tried to call the store on line to ask the question and no one answered. So low and behold we get into the store finally, no one was available to answer a question, and none of the watch brands we wanted were available. I don’t typically leave Google reviews, but truly the doorman left such a bad taste in our mouths that we will not be returning.

Shreve, Crump & Low: what do users think?
Ed Y: Louis called today and said my new VC 4500v black dial is in. I said great, I’ll stop by after work Tuesday! My wife was sitting next to me and said let’s just go now as we weren’t far away. I call back to mention that I’d be stopping by today. They call me back saying they don’t Have a new black dial 4500v, but offered me a used silver dial OVER msrp. Bait and switch. Buyer be aware. This AD plays games. I was supposedly on a “waitlist” with them for about a year.
Liad Sasson: Pleasure to do business with Professional, clean , fast , easy .Thank you Brian .
Richard Gama: It's hard finding trustworthy dealers in the luxury watch business, but my recent experience trading a watch with Sam Grosso and the team was completely hassle-free. Their prices are competitive, their watches are exactly as described, and their communication left me without any doubts or concerns. Highly recommend them.
James Rich: Worked with Sam in the watch department, he was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He made the experience of purchasing from Shreve, Crump & Low exceptional. I hope to do business with Sam, and Shreve Crump & Low in Boston again, very soon.
Rindge Leaphart: I was in Boston this weekend for an event and had some free time. What do I do with my free time? Visit watch shops of course. I finally made some time to visit Shreve Crump & Low on Newbury St. This was my first time visiting SC&L, so I had no idea what to expect. SC&L is well known for its jewelry collection, but I didn't know much about the watch section. My visit to SC&L was fantastic for two reasons: 1. Their watch collection occupies the entire second floor of the building. The second floor is not extremely large. That being said, they make great use of the space as they have watches in every nook and cranny. The collection of new and pre-owned watches is superb. I might go far to say it is the best in the Boston area. They are an authorized dealer for numerous brands including very top end brands as well as respectable mid-tier brands. I saw new watches covering a broad range of price points; Nomos, B&M, Zenith, JLC, FP Journe, etc..I mentioned that my visit was fantastic for two reasons. The 2nd (and most important) reason the visit was fantastic is because I had a chance to interact with Christopher W. at SC&L. Christopher, approached with a very warm, welcoming, and GENUINE greeting. We talked watches, straps, etc., for what must have been 30+ minutes. Our discussion was full of laughter and learning (at least on my part). I have never had so much fun and felt as welcomed as I did when visiting with Christopher at SC&L. Christopher is very knowledgeable about watches and is willing to share what he knows. If you are in the Boston area, and are looking for watches, and want to do so in a low pressure environment with a genuinely good person, then look up Christopher W. at SC&L.
John Baffoni: Great selection of watches across a wide spectrum of brands. Very impressive for anyone who gets excited by this kind of thing.Even better, though, is the customer service! Very nice and welcoming staff. Low pressure atmosphere. Knowledgeable about their products, and they enjoy talking watches. Don’t feel intimidated to stop in if you’re unsure.I’ve never purchased jewelry there, but they seem to have a very impressive selection of that as well. Can’t recommend them enough!
Mark Faraci: I had the best experience working with Darleen and Jessie at Shreve, Crump & Low. Not only were they able to provide expert advice on styles for what I had in mind, but they also provided a no pressure and informative experience that helped to create a beautiful piece that will stand the rest of time. I am sure to be back in the future. Thank you!
Carolyn Gaines: I haven’t had the privilege of buying anything from Shreve, Crump, & Low but I trust them with all my jewelry maintenance and repairs. Jessie in the services department is fantastic and helped me re-size my engagement ring and solder my wedding band. The quality and care they give for any services is worth the price with beloved fine jewelry.
Jake Albanese: Great shop for watches. I worked with Sam and he was a class act, really nice guy and made the transaction super easy and smooth. I pretty much knew exactly which model I wanted so was in and out quick, but if you’re unsure SC&L has a terrific selection and there are plenty of new and pre-owned pieces that any watch lover will drool over.
Adelyn Kramer: Sasha and the team at Shreve, Crump & Low did an amazing job supporting gifting for one of our Boston events. Everyone was thrilled with the gurgling cod which is so iconic to the area. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!
Martha Nickerson: I recently visited Shreve, Crump & Low with my husband who wanted to buy me a dress watch for our special wedding anniversary. Samuel Thomas Grosso helped us select the perfect timepiece, with attentive and personal service. I love my new Longines watch, and we recommend Shreve, Crump & Low for your watch needs, both now and into the future! Martha & Chris
Ann Marie Trapasso: Sam Grosso was a pleasure to work with! His knowledge, professionalism & customer service standards were impressive. So easy to find & purchase what we were looking for. We will be back.
Brittany Canniff Kimball: Lovely store with amazing variety of jewelry, watches and gifts. The service is wonderful and very helpful. Watch batteries and strap repair turned around within 24 hours, very helpful service with re working ring prongs and sizing. Brian and the whole team treat all customers like family — amazing shopping experience.
charles warren: I had a wonderful shopping experience with the help of a great associate Robin Hasekian, she helped me select the beautiful little baby gift had an engraved and shipped out promptly followed up with a copy of the receipt and letting me know when the item was shipped wonderful service really enjoyed the experience
Joel Tadeo: A pleasure to have visited this iconic Boston jewellery boutique. A warm welcome from the staff, beautiful displays, with professional service. Thank you Shreve, Crump & Low's team for a great experience in your store.
Aimee Scott: Superb service experience Sherrie or Barry? Sorry I am terrible with names went above and beyond on the device side. She scrounged all available materials to find just enough to finish off a bracelet and the manager to fix it within days of dropping off. Without her efforts it would be sent out and I’d have to wait for months. Delighted with her personable and above and beyond service! Thank you.
Mary Rogul: What a transformation! From Family heirloom to a stunning outcome to be close to my heart always! An enormous thank you to the wonderfully talented and caring staff at Shreve, Crump & Low! And especially, Jennifer Baldwin who helped me to see the vision before the output. Breathtaking is the only words I had when I saw what they had created. I am forever grateful to this amazing team!
Pierce Harman: Terrific advice and guidance from Samuel Grosso in the "Swiss Watches" department of Shreve, Crump and Low. He was a pleasure to work with, had a wealth of knowledge about a variety of makers and models, and made the experience of buying high end what it should be: informative and satisfying. And a special shout out to Susan, whose "insider tips" where valuable. Finally, Jennifer Baldwin was just a stand up resource whose texted and called with answers to my questions. Two thumbs way up for this group.
Audiobooks Fun for Kids Playing Learning English: good store, a bit expensive..nice overall..and surprised they do not have more items for clocks...for example the one listed the Patek .. an example is at European Watch on the same street, not for sale but an amazing reference point on fine Swiss watches. the store was nice and the staff super keen.
Tom Ward: I had a wonderful conversation with Susan and while I did not make a purchase (yet), I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to help me. Once I fulfill my wife's end of the deal (compromise! :) , I will be reaching back to you guys.
Sidhant Misra: Wonderful recent experience shopping at Shreve! The team is courteous and kind, and I specifically want to call out Samuel Grosso for being extra awesome. Super knowledgeable about horology and goes above and beyond for customers. Just fantastic.

Joseph Gann Jewelers: what do users think?
Rachael Goldman: I had such a wonderful experience with the team at Joseph Gann Jewelers! Excellent service and fast shipping. I LOVE my new charm!
Angelo Skritakis: Awesome customer service. My Godson purchased a watch for me as a gift. Needed to add links to lengthen. Was able to do on the same day I visited. Very knowledgeable staff and a great selection. If you're interested in any jewelry this the PLACE to go!!!
Claire O'Connell: Josh Gann went above and beyond to assist in getting a beautiful Chelsea clock on short notice. Went above and beyond!Highly recommend.
Brian McBride: Dang closed Monday. Back to the ‘burbs.
Carmen Chan: Joseph Gann is amazing! I can't recommend it enough. My fiance and I went to shop for our wedding bands, and to resize/explore options for a heirloom diamond ring. I was really nervous to get the heirloom ring worked on since it has been with the family for so long. Herbert wowed us with his knowledge. His patience and gentle manner really earned our trust to leave the heirloom ring in his care. He was the only jeweler we saw that day who took one look at the ring and immediately accurately described the ring's background (stone dating back to the 20s, and reset probably later in the 70s). He also was the only one who offered a reasonable suggestion, just simply resize and then lower the diamond (it's previous setting was laughably high, which was apparently all the rage in the 70s). This was much more affordable option, that other jewelers didn't offer and pushed us to reset it in a completely new setting. For the wedding bands, Herbert showed us various options. Their selection is massive, and the website does not represent all of their inventory. He answered of all our questions. When I couldn't decide if I wanted a diamond band or a hand carved band, he brought out a "Bread and Butter" box from his father, from the 30s. In it, he showed how he can customize the hand carved band and install 7 small diamonds. I loved that he wasn't pushy and only brought the Bread and Butter box out when I made an off-hand comment, "if only I can have both". Thanks to this suggestion, I now have the perfect wedding band!Joseph Gann is a gem of a family business. They have earned my lifelong business and I will come back for any jewelry purchases!
Christian: Extremely fast shipping. The experience felt like I was in store even though I was out of state! I’m a big Seiko watch fan and they know their stuff. Extremely responsive on the phone. I wish I was a local but my bank account is happy I’m not…Can’t recommend them highly enough! If I could give 10 stars I would!
Peter Barnard: International client here. Super quick turn-around time; incredibly helpful; goods arrived in perfect condition inside of a week.
Phillip Grace: Good people fair price will continue to shop there .
Bill Cunningham: I recently purchased a new watch from Josh and I can't say enough about how good my experience was. Josh was a true professional, he offered me a great price and great service through out the entire process. I recommend Gann Jewelers to everyone that has a need for jewelry.
Angrybeard: I have never been to the store. I live in Texas. However I did just purchase a watch from Josh. It was a BALL and I was on the fence between a couple of different models. I spent almost an hour on the phone with Josh and we did talk about watches. However we talked about many other world problems as well. Just a great personable guy. I never write reviews ,but I'm coming off the bench here because I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with Josh. I couldve bought this particular watch from maybe a few different places. But I'm glad I bought it from this jeweler.
Jameson B: Amazing Jeweler. Josh is awesome. Great customer service and excellent selection of jewelry.
Dan O'Brien: I bought my engagement ring from Joseph Gann. We worked with Josh Gann. It was a custom ring with a cushion and two trapezoids. My wife (who came with me in the process!) enjoyed working him so much that she also bought my wedding band from him. We would've also bought her wedding band from him but she does not wear one. What we loved was:-The stones he picked out were amazing. We went to him 3 times just to get the stones right (there were 3 of them). He worked hard to get what we wanted and we had a pretty specific idea of what that was. He is a supremely patient man :)-He never pressured us in any way-Prices were good-He brought us along in the process. He would send us renderings of the ring (which we created from scratch) to make sure we were all right with them. In fact, we moved right after we got engaged. My wife wanted to modify a few things so we mailed it back and he adjusted them with no extra charge.-He's so knowledgeable. I'd read up a bunch and he also educated me on how the ring was made, what to look for in the diamond.-We trusted him completely, which is obviously a big dealThe only time I had previous experience with a jeweler was with buying a watch. A wedding ring was a much more intense process especially if your tailoring all its elements. And it's the most expensive thing I've ever purchased in my life. I can't imagine someone being more knowledgeable, more trustworthy, or more helpful than Josh.
Jennifer Fallon: My fiancé and I were referred here by a friend and we have had an excellent experience. Josh has been very helpful and accommodating regarding some issues with my engagement ring. Worth the 1.5hr drive for us from the Cape for the customer service, highly recommend!
Mike M: Just bought a GIA documented diamond stud earring here and I couldn't be happier with the stone and the entire buying experience. The stone is beautiful and the price felt very fair to me. Delightful service from Herbert Gann, an experienced gentleman who patiently answered all my questions. A beautiful store full of so many beautiful things. The entire experience was a pleasure. Boston is lucky to have the Gann family here offering their services for three generations now. Check it out! I will definitely return in the future.
eastsidelegend33: They have some nice jewelry with reasonable prices. Sometimes with these jewelry places the vendors are a little rude and moving a little to fast trying to get a deal done. Stay firm and definitely try to negotiate a good price for the items you want.
Barbara Levin: Absolutely fabulous personalized attention! Josh knows his stones and provides great information. He is quite a designer! Highly recommend everyone to come here!
jr g: Bought a new Hamilton watch from them. Very good service and a great price. Salesperson even ran to get me a backup strap in black cause they didn't have that color. Thanks for the help! Love the watch!
Janelle N: My engagement ring and wedding band were purchased at Joseph Gann. Both rings have had diamonds fall out (a total of 6 diamonds now) and the detail in the filigree has cracked. These rings are only 5 years old! Very disappointing.
Cat F: Fantastic and knowledgeable staff who take their time answering questions and assisting customers. Quality jewelry.
Ellen Smith: They resized my engagement ring quickly and for a great price. I'll be back for wedding rings!
Joseph Ervin: Very happy with my purchasing experience

Bromfield Jewelers: what do users think?
Teffi: Great service
Shaniah Bartlett: It was a pleasure working with Allan and Fran at Bromfield Jewelers. Letting go of memorable pieces of jewelry is less than easy, however both Allan and Fran curated a delicate and professional experience for me. I highly recommend this business for anyone looking to part with their high-end jewelry. Thank you, Fran and Allan.
Bisan Alhmood: It was great meeting Allan, Fran and Eric earlier today! They were very helpful and friendly. Quick and easy transaction selling a beautiful diamond we owned. Pleasure doing business with you guys! Will definitely be coming back and recommending this store to our friends and family!
Marco Succi: Professional and knowledgeable team, always ready to take care of you. Highly recommend.
Rainbows Pottery: Francis and Al = A+!!!! I called several places with my piece of jewelry and ultimately decided on this location because of the exceptional customer service. “Old school” awesomeness and comfort. Thanks for being tried and true. See you with my next gem 😉.
Katharine Mast: My experience woth Allan at Bromfield Jewelers was excellent. He was very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend Bromfield Jewelers.
Audiobooks Fun for Kids Playing Learning English: best place .. super nice on the staff... BOSTON USA
Katie Knudsen: Had a great experience here selling a diamond. I felt like I was treated fairly and respectfully. Another store kept me waiting for well over an hour, but this was a much more streamlined experience.
Katherine Flaherty: I had a wonderful experience, the customer service was excellent... I got great prices and the team was very friendly! Will definitely go back again next time I am looking to sell jewelry!
cw: I made an appointment to have the team look at a box of jewelry and coins that were the "top drawers" of two beloved deceased relatives. It was a real range of 14K gold, sterling, some Home Shopping Club "semi precious stones," costume jewelry and some coins. The guys were lovely and patient and friendly as they looked through the stuff. I walked away with a nice little chunk of money (and all the silly costume stuff that they couldn't use). Was a great experience. I highly recommend them, and I like the idea that some of this jewelry, that's been sitting in a closet for years, will now have a second life (either melted down into something good, or purchased to live around the neck of some new person). And ps Bromfield Street is very interesting and there's a lot of history there. The guys know a lot and have seen a lot! Call them!
Chee Her: Drove 1.5hrs to Boston to get quotes on my diamond ring. Al and Fran were super friendly. Their vibe was more inviting and comfortable to do business with compared to their competitor. I ended up selling my ring to them because they seemed honest, fair, and was willing to give me cash right away. I liked how they didn't ignore my little family I had with me. They were also nice enough to pay for our parking since we had to wait an hour which wasn't necessary but greatly appreciated.I highly recommend Bromfield Jewelers because of how genuine and friendly they were.Quick transaction and cash payout!!!
Elizabeth Botta: Our experience with Alan, Fran, and David was exceptional. They were very frank and up front and fair. Thank you all for making it an easy experience.
Kelly Mortellite: I visited several downtown jewelers to re-sell two diamond pieces. Other places I visited quickly looked at the pieces and gave me a price. Not only did Fran and Al give me the best price, they took the time to clean the pieces and sit down and educate me on diamonds and how pieces are valued. I would highly recommend Bromfield for their exceptional customer service and fair pricing.
Denise Henkind: I went to Bromfield with GIA certified diamonds that were lovely. Perhapstoo lovely because I got a check that was several thousand less than promised that bounced. When I called and asked for my diamonds backthey insisted on giving me a “bank certified” check that didn’t clear either. I will be going back with the police to recover to stones.Stay far, far away from these swindlers!
Zach R: Fair and quick. Would recommend
Mark Zalzaly: Rude and buys way below market price. You will get a better deal elsewhere. I'm judging them by whoever manages their phone calls on this exact google maps. so no its not mixed up you just need to work on your customer service.
Cindy Nguyen: My experience there was excellent. Allen and Fran were so funny and friendly! They picked up my call right away and answered my question regarding selling jewelry for cash. I drove an hour there and parked right in front of the shop- one of them even watched my car since I didn’t want to pay for parking (Boston parking is expensive) as the other helped me! Everything went smoothly and I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to buy or sell jewelry.
Adam Corby: I arrived they don’t even exist anymore
William Chrysanthos: Professional and fair establishment.
Jessica Thornton: Very pleasant experience selling gold jewelry, easy downtown location. Would do business with them again.
Devon Rogers: I went into Bromfield Jewelers looking to sell a bunch of old gold and silver pieces. I worked with Allan who was very helpful, funny, and assessed the pieces I brought in quickly. I was very pleased with the offer they made. Not sure why there are any negative reviews about this place—a true gem of a jewelry buyer and will definitely return in the future!
