State Room: A Longwood Venue: what do users think?
Javier Rosa: What an amazing venue and such an amazing event. Great memories and a great experience!
Christopher Connor (26 North Studios): As a wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at The State Room Boston and I must say, it is a spectacular space. From the moment you walk in, the breathtaking views of the city and the elegant decor set the tone for a truly magical day.The venue's spacious floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows provide ample opportunities for stunning photo ops. The natural light that floods the room is just perfect for capturing those intimate moments between the bride and groom, and the high ceilings allow me to get creative with my angles and shots. The staff at The State Room Boston is exceptional and always goes above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They are always on hand to answer any questions or concerns, and their attention to detail is unmatched. This level of professionalism and customer service truly sets the venue apart and makes my job as a wedding photographer much easier. And let's not forget about the food! The catering team at The State Room Boston consistently serves up delicious meals that are both beautiful and tasty. This, combined with the venue's excellent service and elegant atmosphere, makes it easy to understand why it’s one of Boston’s most sought after venues.
Ashley Makredes: We had our wedding at the State Room in Boston and it was everything I dreamed of AND MORE! Everything from the venue, to the food, to the employees, and everything in between was perfect. Our initial meetings were with Alicia. She helped us pick what was best for us and what we truly wanted. We were then assigned our event specialist, Jenna Scali, who was also amazing! Both girls answered any emails I sent almost immediately and were always so helpful. The night of the wedding, everything ran so smooth. The staff who met us outside to bring us in and all throughout the night who were close by, were just so helpful and kind. I am so glad we chose this venue and would again in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone who made our wedding a dream!
Bill Ferraro: Amazing event venue. Best view in the city! We brought virtual reality there for an event want a great backdrop for VR
Sachin Gupta: The views are everything
Maddie Maddern: I literally had dreams about getting married here one day, and I got to do just that on August 13, 2022. This is the most stunning wedding venue in the entire city, nobody can convince me otherwise. It looks gorgeous in photos, but you literally can't imagine how breathtaking it is in person. If the views aren't enough, their events team is next level (particularly Amber). Now bear with me through this part, because there's a reason we're still giving State Room 5 stars (spoiler alert, it's our amazing wedding goddess Amber). We had a bit of a rocky start after we signed the contract (nothing to do with Amber). We signed the contract in May and then backed off for a bit since our wedding was over a year away. Around October, we were speaking with our florist, and he asked if we knew Carolyn (our former wedding specialist) had left. We didn't and nobody from the venue ever reached out to let us know. I immediately emailed both our contacts there and both people whose emails I had were disconnected and had no email forwarding set up or any message directing me to another contact. I called the venue 3 or 4 times before finally speaking with someone and they let me know both people had left and they'd let me know when we had someone new. I was now trying to plan a wedding (at a not-so-inexpensive venue) with no wedding coordinator.Cue Amber! A literal angel who just made every wedding dream come true. This really should be a 4-star review, but Amber is so insanely amazing that she leaves me no choice but to make this 5 stars because anything less wouldn't be a fair testament to her. I am the most Type A a person can be and Amber answered every email, call, and panicked carrier pigeon I sent her way. She went above and beyond when we had issues with other vendors or needed last-minute changes that probably weren't even on her to help with.100% would recommend booking the State Room for your wedding (even despite the challenges) because the staff really is in another league.Thank you for everything, Amber!!
Essentially Erynne: This venue is just absolute perfection & our coordinator Amber was a dream come true. She went above & beyond to make our day amazing; when things weren’t done to her standards or what she thinks I would want, she worked quickly to fix them, never needing to let me know there was even an issue to begin with so I could just focus on the day. Our food was AMAZING, the bar staff was fantastic, & the space was to die for. We will never be able to thank Amber or State Room/Longwood Venues for helping to make our day so memorable!
Kaye Homam: The venue is beautiful and the service is fantastic. Parking is decently priced and the 2 floor venue works really well. The views are absolutely gorgeous. Day and night. The food was a little bland, but I am told that was because of the planner's food options.
Molly Hurkett: I don't even know where to start! EVERYTHING about the State Room was absolutely perfect. Everyone there was outstanding to work with but I have to give Jenna a shout out. She made everything SO easy and so fun. She was so attentive and responsive from the start and made planning our wedding a breeze. Look no further and book the State Room for the most stress-free, most beautiful wedding in Boston!
Samantha Riley: We knew the State Room had to be our wedding venue the moment we walked in. It has breathtaking views, it is modernly designed, and truly a beautiful space. Additionally, once we started contracting with them, they made it all so easy! They even helped us source special Prosecco for our event. They were also extremely accommodating when we decided to postpone from February 2021 to 2022. We had Amber assisting us leading up to the event and throughout our wedding day. She was responsive, helpful, and truly an expert in her field. We were in great hands with Amber on our special day and everything went off without a hitch! We are so grateful to the State Room and their staff for making our wedding day perfect.
M P: Love this place. Ppl are so friendly and just a genuinely nice here.
Nicole Chan: I LOVE the Boston State Room as a Boston wedding venue.I'm writing this review from a different angle. I didn't get married here, but I'm been here over 50 times for weddings. I'm a Boston wedding photographer, and I have the insider view on what weddings are like. The team here is top notch. They are professional, kind, and courteous. You won't go wrong with a wedding here. :)The coolest thing about it are of course, those panoramic views from up high while still being able to be in downtown city life! It’s remarkable what they offer here- so much detail and care has been put into this space that you can really see how much thought went into creating such an incredible place for your big day or special event.
Micah Pak: A great place for a wedding with a bird's eye view of the beautiful city. The reception food was the best I have ever tasted.
Jonathan Spencer: I was here for a private event and was not involved in the planning. Food and service were most impressive. The place itself is quite stark, with heavy black window frames and gray walls, with no ornamentation. The view is extensive and fantastic.
Osaro Igbinedion: Great services.
William Barabino: Nice event for National Braille Press.
jim connors: Wow,this venue was a terrific experience. The views of the harbor, fanuiel hall, were awesome. The modern facility, the food, and staff were exceptional.a great experience for all.
Maria Bribeaux: It's awesome venue...terrific views of Boston harbor. It was a beautiful family wedding❤️.
John Taglieri: Amazing venue. Some of the best views in Boston, great staff, great food, and just a wonderful experience being there.
David Pinto: Gorgeous views of the city and great food.

Hotel Commonwealth: what do users think?
Ashish Siddam: Very pricey for what it is. Rooms are quite basic. You don't even get a kettle to make hot tea and nothing at all in the mini bar fridge except a couple of cans of water. The interiors are dated but they still charge like a 5 star hotel.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Steve Wagner: Enjoyed my stay and it was convenient enough, with several restaurants in walking distance and Fenway nearby. The room was clean and modern, and the staff helpful and friendly. A nice lobby to hang out with friends, and when I needed help from the concierge to find a shop to unexpectedly fix my phone, his directions were spot on. Very comfortable stay.

Jeni Hardy: The moment I stepped onto the property staff were there to help in any way possible. They were so kind, courteous, and helpful. At check-in you're given a metal water bottle filled with great spring water, and then there is a tap on site where you can refill with either still or sparkling water. The entrance to the T is conveniently located on the property and ride shares are abundant in the area. There is a lot with in walking distance and the proximity to Fenway is perfect! The room amenities were wonderful! They went out of their way to assist me in getting a package mailed as well! I would absolutely recommend staying here!Rooms: The room was clean and well stocked with amenities. Even the hair dryer was top quality!Safety: The doormen are always there ready to help with directions, recommendations, or getting a ride!Walkability: There is so much to do in this area within walking distance! The bridge over the interstate gives you quick access to Fenway Park. Some of the sidewalks are the old brick and can be unlevel in places, but if you watch where you're going it's not an issue!Food & drinks: There were a lot of places to eat in the immediate area, including in the hotel itself. I highly recommend the Citizens Public House and Oyster Bar, a quick walk from the hotel.
Marcela Carmichael: This was our first time stating in Boston. I absolutely loved the hotel location, the staff, and the room. We were there for only 3 nights. ron nahum: The best in every aspect including dining and the bar
Georgia Van de Zande: We had our wedding reception at The Lenox in November, and it was amazing to spend the weekend there. Alison was wonderful to work with, and the Lenox package was exactly what we wanted. Alison was so accommodating with every idea that we had and anything we needed. She helped us have the celebration we were dreaming of. We wanted something unique, but didn’t want to put everything together from scratch, and that is exactly what we were able to get with the Lenox. All of our guests were impressed with the service and spaces. I stayed in the bridal suite the night before our wedding, and my girls and I had so much fun getting ready there in the morning. I highly recommend that! The entire team at the Lenox made us feel so special on our wedding weekend. Thank you! We also loved that they were very upfront with no hidden fees or anything. Highly recommend!

Anthony Castanon: A beautiful veneer on an older 1980s hotel. You can tell they have taken great effort to refresh the place. The aesthetic is absolutely gorgeous, but things fall apart when you look closely. We stayed in room 902. Our peephole in the door was missing, the shower is old, there's a toilet phone, there were uneven cuts of wallpaper. Things little things add up and remind you this hotel is a refresh, and you can never patch all the holes in an older structure.
J L: I stay here every time I have business at Copley. Clean, great staff, very convenient. Mattresses are great, Wifi and streaming to TVs is simple, great bars and restaurants on premises, and a very well-appointed gym. Pretty decent coffee in the morning. The rooms are a little on the small side but comfy and the prices are very good compared to similar quality hotels in the area.
Jacob Stanton: I was rear ended by one of there company cars and injured, the insurance information that i was given was lapsed, so I call to get current insurance information And anyone I spoke to was rude and would not provide me with the correct insurance information. Not sure if they don't have insurance and that's why so I would be careful staying here as I'm not sure what the deal is with their insurance

Hampshire House: what do users think?
Mark G: Nice place.
Brian Cusack: Elegant Boston institution - great for hosting any number of events !
Jim Lemaster: Exploring history
Anthony De Coteau: Had a great time .
Maylee Austin: Fantastic venue!
Roy Olsen: Nice 😀
Neal Hunter: Wow what a venue to see show Four handed Illusionists
D: Have your event here if you want to feel transported in time! Gorgeous setting. Quintessential historical Boston right on the Commons. So elegant. And the staff is so nice!
William Harding: Gorgeous venue for special events. Food is very good, as well.
Luis Ramirez: Big mices around like if they owned the place
Corinna Osborne: Mike and I had our wedding reception there 9/10/22. I apologize for writing this review so late. The entire experience was flawless. Michele was an amazing manager and coordinator and took care of every detail. The food was exceptional. Our guests are still raving about the experience. A true Boston historic site with with an element of luxury and service that was top notch. Thank you Hampshire House for all that you do and preserving this historic site.
Matthew J Shochat: Great time! Always a wonderful and warm place.
Joseph Goodliffe: If it were possible to give Hampshire House more stars, we would. After spending weeks researching distilleries, breweries, and restaurants around Boston, my husband and I finally decided to take a look at more “traditional” wedding venues around the city and what we found with the Hampshire House was anything but ordinary. From our first meeting to the last dance at our wedding, the staff at the Hampshire House went out of their way to make us feel like we were the only couple they were working with. How anyone plans a wedding without Michele is a mystery. Her and Karim’s attention to detail is unbelievable - absolute masters of their craft. Whether we were planning the menu or trying to figure out how to get a processional full of kids down the aisle, they were by our side bringing our wedding vision to life. When life threw us a curveball and forced us to postpone our big day, the compassion and empathy the folx at the Hampshire House showed absolutely blew us away and it was like no time had passed when we were ready start planning again a few months later. While the professionalism and service are reason enough to plan your wedding here, you can’t talk about this place without raving about the venue itself. Perfectly situated across from the Public Garden and nestled in Beacon Hill, you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque place to get married. The library is a stunning setting to say I do, and the whole house evokes a kind of historical warmth and charm you can’t find at any other venue in Boston. We also have to take a minute to mention how phenomenal the food was too. Every hors d’oeuvre and dish was perfectly made, and the staff even went out of their way to label everything for our guests with allergies. We feel so lucky to have been able to get married at here, work with the incredible staff, and share such a cool, historic venue with our guests. If you want a worry free wedding at a gorgeous venue with the best service you could ever ask for, do yourself (and your guests) a favor and say “I Do” at Hampshire House, you won’t be disappointed. Jonathan & Joe
Jenna Carlson: Hampshire House was mine and my husband's dream venue. The grounds are gorgeous; they simply cannot be beat. One of the things we loved the most about this unique space was the food offering. The moment we saw the menu, we were blown away. Our guest still rave to this day about how amazing their experience was, especially how outstanding the food items were. The passed hors d'oeuvre were exquisite, the first course was executed perfectly, and all entrees were cooked to perfection. What's even more amazing is the staff at Hampshire House, especially Michele. We began to plan our wedding 2 years out. Michele was with us for the entire 2 years, even when it was unnecessary at times. The teams is efficient, accommodating and so professional. There was never a time that I needed anything. I struggle now to put into words, just how absolutely perfect Hampshire House is. Our wedding was such a dream come true, and it would have not been possible without Hampshire House!! 100/10 perfection!
Angelique Markowski: We selected the Hampshire House for our wedding, because we loved the feeling of celebrating in an old-style mansion. The ceremony, dinner, and dancing were all held in the massive library, and it was gorgeous. They had fully working fireplaces for our cold November wedding, which really set the mood. Probably more importantly, the food was outstanding. Our family and friends are all foodies, and if the food was bad, we would have heard about it until the end of time. Instead, people could not get over how amazing both the cocktail hour food was, but also the dinner hour. While the space was stunning to begin with, one of the main considerations in picking this venue was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs right from the start. They made the whole experience as stress free as possible. The Director/Coordinator, Michele Giacomozzi was amazing. She was always there to answer any questions we had or offer any help she could. Michele did an outstanding job the day of, left us feeling stress free and allowed us to live in the moment. We had so many compliments afterwards about the food, the beauty of the space, and especially the stunning views of the public gardens. We could not have imagined a more perfect day.
Nancy Dominguez: Beautiful
Melissa Grasso: We had our wedding at the Hampshire House in September with about 75 guests. We worked with Michele G. who was extremely attentive, professional, and answered all questions, big and small, in the time leading up to the event. Her expertise was apparent on the day, when everything came together exactly as we wanted. The space is incredibly beautiful and has a classic New England feel. Gorgeous views of the Public Garden. (Photo by Abi Elaine Photography)
Jim Leonard: Good place, but no room service..
wellmanjeff2012: Beautiful place for photo shoots
roger best: Just a fantastic place..excellent
Keith Blacksten: Fun place

Erin C: Meh and you will starve. Only option for room service is to call operator at front desk. Then, they lose your order and you wait hours for food. Menu not great and WAY behind times with no allergy free options. Cool when it opened muh-may-b but it’s a has been. Starve like your in jail. Woooohooo

Riley Blizard: I have stayed here at the Liberty Hotel several times. The most recent but terrible experience happened to be a long stay. The day we checked in the front desk personnel notified us that we were upgraded to a suite because of our titanium elite status. Well the room was on the main level over the loading dock area that was very loud. The main issue was that the toilet would start bubbling up whatever the rooms above us were putting down there shower or bathtub or toilet drains. One day we woke up after contacting the front desk that the toilet was bubbling up and yellowish colored suds were developing and pouring on to the bathroom floor. They came and fixed the toilet and told me not to worry it wouldn’t happen again. Well less than 12 hours later, that night the same issue but this time even worse there was so much water and other disgusting unsanitary matter on the floor I asked them to come again for the fourth time on day 3 of my stay. This time I was notified by a maintenance staff member that this had been a known issue for this room recently and that he even was surprised they put anyone in the room. I demanded the front desk to change rooms. I was denied as they said the hotel was at full occupancy. I asked for them to make accommodations for me else where and yet again I was still denied. They told me it was their busiest night. There firm Many hours later still no resolution other than the maintenance person being in my room trying to snake the toilet for 2-3 hours straight being in the room until just past 11:00 PM trying different things. He thought he had fixed it. I had asked the front desk to have all new towels brought and for someone to clean the floor as I it smelt from the overflow and I felt was unsanitary. They said they sent someone but I clearly could tell no one had come other than the new towels but the used ones were still there. The very next morning the same issue at 7:00 AM. I finally couldn’t handle it anymore. I went to the front desk and spoke with a different manager that next morning. He stated he could switch rooms for me and it wouldn’t be an issue. He said to give him until 11:00 AM to switch the room and I asked that he make note of this on my file as I have pictures along with videos of what took place. He stated he was sorry and that the manager the previous night could’ve moved me to another room but chose not too. This was beyond appalling and disgusting. I was really disappointed by the front desk staff especially the manager the night I originally asked for an new room. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. The unsanitary part was beyond what anyone should have to deal with for a such an expensive hotel. The Room was very unsanitary and disgusting. Especially because of the backups happening from the rooms above us through our toilet.Safety: The unsanitary situation wasn’t safe!

Doug Dillmuth: It's an old jail converted to a hotel. Super cool building. Really good food and hotel bar. So we were there for the purpose of the Boston marathon. For 99% of the rooms, this would not be an issue. Apparently on Saturday night, the hotel bar turns into a full club. This was an issue because our room was on the interior lobby wall. The room literally shook until 2 AM and the bathroom mirror was vibrating and almost fell off the wall from the bass and the music. Could not sleep at all. They gave us half off the room for the night for the inconvenience which was fair. They didn't do the lobby club thing on Sunday night. Room was nice. Linens and towels were changed every day and bed made and a lot of places don't do that anymore. Towels were Holiday Inn quality, not luxury quality. The televisions aren't smart TVs which is surprising so not Netflix access so bring a roku or firestick. The in room snacks and drinks are not priced to sell. They are priced so you wouldn't dare open a beer. $10 M&M's, $7 can of Coke, $9 Michelob Ultra? Who's buying that? You could get a craft beer and a nearby bar for far less. Great location. Clean room.

David Kaufman: Always fun to stop by while visiting the city to have a drink and see this place. I seem to see something new every time.
Gaby Dubuc: Un peu cher mais tellement bien situé
Ms Berries: The restaurants were 5-star (Scampo and Clink). The food was delicious as were the food and drinks in the hotel lobby. The rooms were a teeny bit old but were cleaned so very well. But my main reason for the 5-star rating is THE STAFF. Every employee from the valets, to the wait staff at the restaurants and lobby, to the front desk, to housekeeping were AMAZING. Every last one of the employees was genuinely friendly and helpful. They were engaging and so very kind. We never once had to chase anyone down. They were all so attentive and absolutely PERFECT. Never in all my travels have I ever encountered a hotel staff that was so world class in terms of personality, skill, professionalism, and friendliness. We asked for extra sets of bath towels and they were at our door in 5 minutes. The wait staff at one point had 4 servers for us who kept checking on us, and they were so much fun. Blown away. We'll definitely be going back. I highly recommend The Liberty Hotel Boston!Rooms: Beautiful and lots of characterNearby activities: Shopping and grocery, pharmacy nearby also walking distanceWalkability: Minutes away via walking from TD GardenFood & drinks: Superb
Curtis Newcomer: Concierge team provided excellent service. Matt and Mark went above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend this hotel.Noteworthy details: Great service and follow up
Ruben Escano Jr: My stay at The Liberty was fantastic. I took a weekend trip to Boston in January. The hotel was unique, eye-catching, and all-around an enjoyable stay. The room and decor were amazing, and the view was top notch. Everything was clean and housekeeping was amazing. I really pay attention to the overall quality of the room in hotels where i go: baseboards were straight, door jambs were perfect, grout was clean in the bathroom, lighting was perfect (except for one reading light that was out on the bed frame, but i did not care much for that), and the furniture seemed new.Room service was perfect (had it two nights in a row). The main lobby serves as a lounge on weekends. I think this was rather neat, but overall not really my scene. The noise did not reach the room, which i greatly appreciated.I only had two complaints about The Liberty:The host at check in seemed more interested in the live lounge than in checking me in.The lounge made getting in/out/around the first floor a pain. The floor was overcrowded and it ruined the ambiance of the hotel for me. But others really seemed to enjoy it.I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and i will definitely be returning. I would give the hotel a 4.5/5. If you like a lounge/night club within a few feet of your room out of convenience, then i would definitely rate this a 5/5 for you (seriously the rooms seemed soundproof).

Michael Wong: This is the worst Renaissance I've stayed at. Extremely dated and gloomy interior, moldy bathroom fixtures, showers that don't have hot water in the mornings, has a franchisee-run Starbucks that doesn't accept star rewards, uncomfortable beds, old fitness center and slow elevators would sum up my stays here. The Hampton Inn in seaport is way nicer than this place.
Joseph Silvestro, Jr: Would be 5 stars but I left some items in my room and immediately called front desk upon checkout. I was referred to housekeeping and couldn’t get in touch with them for a couple days. Finally got in touch with housekeeping and they said they had the items. I went back to pick them up and the only item I needed, the expensive one, was no longer there. Waste of a trip.
Kwan Liu: Clean hotel, walkable neighborhood. Those are the only positives. For the price point you’d expect good customer service and complimentary wifi but no such luck.
Andrew McLaughlin: **UPDATED 4/16**I've adjusted my review as management reached out to apologize.I wanted to like this place a lot more than I did.We arrived slightly before check-in time and were quickly assigned a room. Awesome! However, we got to the room and were severely disappointed. The room was spotless and housekeeping does a great job to ensure your needs are tended to, but there were some mechanical issues with the room we were assigned (502) that were pretty disappointing.+Bathroom Vent was broken and did not work the whole weekend.+Bathroom had a foul odor upon arrival.+TV Service was in and out our entire stay+Faucet in bathroom was slightly broken and projectile shot water at us randomly when using sink.Outside of the issues with the room itself, we received an e-mail prior to checking in boasting all of the features and assets the hotel has to offer. Based on the published material sent to us, my party and I were looking forward to using the hot tub in the swimming pool area.We got to the pool deck, and the Hot-Tub was completely empty with no water in it, surrounded by cones and caution tape. Bummer. No mention of it being out of service in any of the pre-check in communications.Walking into the fitness club where the pool is located, I did notice a sign that said "Area under renovation" so I guess the pool and hot tub are included in that? But I was just let down as this was heavily promoted in the pre-check in reading we received. I sincerely hope the pool is due for a renovation as well. The hotel also offers on site Valet for $52 a night, but advertises a garage behind the building that is $40 a night. This was a little sketchy, as they aren't officially partnered with that garage and that garage is prone to filling pretty quickly. I went into that full garage misinformed and wasted 10 minutes talking to the parking attendant there about how "im staying at the Renaissance" thinking that would get me into the garage, which the pre check-in material would have you think. That wasn't the case, and after circling the block for another 10 or so minutes, wound up parking at the Seaport underground garage. On a positive side note, the Hotel Bar staff are fantastic and friendly. I had great conversations and great service there. The gym is also brand-new with lots of nice equipment, and was pretty empty when I went in sunday morning.
JLC: Key maker didn’t work - so ever time I had to go to my room - I needed to be let in by security. Apparently this happens often at this hotel - not bad place otherwise - friendly staff but wow can’t believe that could give me a key (system down from 4pm Sunday and wasn’t back up as of 2 PM Monday)
Madison Smith: This weekend was my 1st time staying at a Renaissance Property and I can say I was definitely impressed! The front desk staff were so kind and helpful, especially Tshiamala who helped me print the discount form I needed at check in. The food and drinks at the bar were delicious and the bartenders were attentive and friendly! The hotel is in a great location too. There were tons of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. I would stay here again.

Battery Wharf Hotel Boston Waterfront: what do users think?
Stacey McKenzie: The hotel is ok. Honestly, I have been in a les expensive hotels that was way way better. I had this high expectation, and i was disappointed.Front desk toke 1 min to check me and give me a room key. They told me you are in the next building, and that is ... so, of course, i got lost inside the next building, trying to find the elevator. I also got locked in between the emergency exit stairs trying to find a way to go to the 2nd floor, and i had to walk around the hotel again to the front entrance... also, the room keys weren't working, so we got locked out again ... drama.First look of the room, yes, look great . Unfortunately, the carpet was extremely filty, and the furniture was craked . The bathroom was great, but we struggled to start the water. The shower faucet was so tight that we needed to call help so we could shower. Unfortunately the room phone wasn't working. Our stay was adventure. Now, the positive part. The valet parking made our stay really easy. They had a cool phone app that allows you to request your car and give you updates . Smart !You can get a water bottle for free from the front desk.Beds were actually really comfortable (pillows sucks). They had big and fluffy towells and great shower gel.House keepers were nice and helpful.Outside is just perfect - great landscaping, amazing water view , just peaceful and quiet. Also, plus is that the hotel is pet friendly ($50 for pet).In a walking distance from the property, there are multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and nail salons. Location is definitely the biggest plus.Would i visit again ? Maybe just because of the location.Rooms: Need updatesNearby activities: Plenty of restaurantsSafety: You need room key to walk in the building. No securityWalkability: Great

Greg Finney: Very nice, well appointed, spacious rooms.Rooms: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Alex Therrien: Coffee machine makes cold coffee, dented walls gavent that is falling out of sink, peeling wall paper, dated room. Hotwire sold as 4.5 stars beware it is not even a 3 star hotel
Qianqian Fan: Extremely disappointed. Before arriving I thought the place would be nice based on what I saw from the picture. While the location is certainly great and the room overall is decent, like some reviews have pointed out the service is just horrible. I ordered delivery on my first day and when I called the front desk, the woman said they haven't received anything. I had to get up and check myself - guess what my food was already there. Very frustrated. They also charge me an amenities fee of $87 without notifying me beforehand. It was a business trip so I never thought I'd be charged. Simply ridiculous. I tried to contact them. No one answered and the voicemail is a dead-end.There was also a broken light bulb which never got repaired. They do have spacious room space despite everything.I love Boston but I have only one advice for people who consider this place: DON'T.
DBA Visual Director: Friendly staff and love the view!
Ann Seigler: I still recall the wonderful aroma that comes from the hotel. Beautiful sites, Great centralized location. Bathroom was A+ Nice room. People were super niceNearby activities: Walking distance from TD Garden
Anna Zbacnik (a to z library): Great location on the North End. Rooms are nice— looks like they could upgrade the carpet.
Kristen Scerbinski: Checked in and walked into our room and immediately was disgusted. None of the surfaces were cleaned (there were ring marks on every surface), the bathroom had hair on the floor and soap scum and grime all over the shower, the black leather bed frame had white dried stains on it... I'll let you put 2 and 2 together, stains on the walls and carpet. The hotel denied my refund and said the room was clean. I asked for a manager to come with us so we could point out everything to her. The manager said to me "I think you just have a different level of cleanliness." After 45 mins of arguing in the lobby they finally refunded us. Rude staff. Unsanitary. 100% do not recommend.
Georgianna Brunton: Great location, very friendly & helpful staff!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Sheri Turlington: This is a fantastic hotel if you come to Boston for work. The rooms are so nice and spacious and still leave room for a nice work setup. Even though I had a spacious desk and chair, I enjoyed working from the recliner chair looking out at the water view window. It made my work day so lovely. The hotel is so affordable and in such an amazing area. You can walk to a fabulous lunch or dinner and BOVAS! Can't believe I got to see and do so many cool Boston things in such a short trip. The hotel staff are so friendly and kind as well. I can't wait to come back for leisure.
Aub Driver: Stunning hotel on the Boston Harbor. Rooms are extremely spacious (though a bit dated) with massive walk-in showers. Nice dining experience on the first floor. There's no parking, so you must valet. Upshot is you can walk to everything in the north end in 10 minutes.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great value …More
Dave Champman: Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. They compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. We stayed here with our infant son and we’re nervous before arriving - the staff that the Battery Wharf were the best I have ever had. This is my first review for a hotel I’ve ever written and I travel a lot for work but I was honestly blown away. Tony and Ruben went out of there way not just for us but visibly for every other guest interaction we saw. The hotel seems understaffed but they did not let that impact their attitude or the attention they gave to us. For anyone traveling with a baby, they made this so easy and had a great crib and accommodated with a room that had an alcove hallway so that it felt like the baby was in a different room.
Carol: The room itself was okay, but the customer service at this place is awful. We booked a room with 2 double beds for 3 adults, and paid for this a month in advance. We checked in late in the evening and as soon as we got to our room, we saw only one double bed and a maintenance guy was following us with a fold out twin bed. So, the reception desk knew that they were giving us only 1 bed, and chose not to say anything about it at check in. Nice. I called the front desk and they said that there was a "maintenance issue" causing the beds to go "offline". No idea what that even means. Beds are not printers, and as far as I know, beds do not "go offline". I think that they oversold the hotel and since our flight got in late, we got stuck with only one bed. They could not move us to a double room until the next evening, and then the room that they tried to move us into was about half of the size of the room with only one bed, did not have a refrigerator, and did not have a tea kettle (important to us). We asked for a mini fridge and they said that their rooms could not guarantee a fridge. We ended up in our original room and made do with the pullout single bed because the double room was so inferior. They also charge a $25 plus tax per day "amenities fee" for things which should be basic at any 3 or 4 star hotel, like bottled water, 2 tea bags, access to the harbor walk (which has nothing to do with the hotel from what I can tell), etc. After talking to 3 different people, they did end up waiving the amenities fee for the inconvenience to us, but this should have never happened to begin with. Also, one of the women working in reception was extremely rude and should not have a job in the hospitality industry. The attitude was that we were lucky to even have a room for the night. On the plus, there is a nice view of the harbor and the shower was modern. Rooms could do with updating but it was clean, and our double bed was comfortable. The manager on duty when we checked out (a man, did not get his name) was at least nice and did waive that amenity fee for us. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel, unfortunately.
Soozie Hetterscheidt: Meh at best. If you are unfortunate enough in being placed in any building away from registration don’t expect much.Booked a room with a bay room (with the up charge) and was placed in a room with a side eye view of the bay.No door person to help open doors when you arrive/depart with bags.Wasn’t a terrible stay, but not worth coming back to.
Matthew Cook: Lovely location right on the river with amazing views and a quick walk to everywhere we needed to get too! Room was spotless and daily cleaned with fresh coffee pods for the next day 🙌
Miguel Velez: Would have been 5 stars but I rented a room for a nite at almost 400 and we did that because of location and the fact we could sleep. So wrong about the sleeping part. They knocked at my door at 8am to clean our room and then alarm went off and we had to get up from bed to go outside for an hour. No explanation or emergency....wish I could have slept!
Heather Lovele: Very unprofessional manager. I am a frequent visitor of this hotel and wont be back. The conversation began when my fiance and I were checking into the hotel. I was standing beside my fiance holding yoga mats as the manager asked him if he does yoga. She continued speaking directly to him and said he should come over her place for some yoga. He responded, oh you teach yoga? She said no and started laughing. And he just looked at me. Very unprofessional. After that she had the audacity to give him her business card as she wrote her name on it. He immediately handed it to me and we walked away. I didn't want to cause a scene as there were other people in the lobby but she was very disrespectful and unprofessional. She should not be a manager for such a nice place as the battery wharf

The College Club of Boston: what do users think?
Susan Gerow: I recently held a brunch meeting at The College Club. The food and service were impeccable. The venue is truly unique and very beautiful. If you are looking for a beautiful location for a special occassion event, then I strongly recommend speaking with Chef Chris Bussell at The College Club. He and his staff will make your occassion truly memorable. The College Club is located half a block away from the Public Garden in Boston. You can not find a more convenient location for your stay.
Heike Arneth: Cosy.

Voyager Zhang: Stayed 1 night in September 2022. My single room is tiny and rusty and noisy. The building has potential to be cleaned up to look at least someone cares, but there are clutters everywhere. Price is 3 times that of staying in a monastery in Rome, Italy during peak season, cleanliness and amenities is much worse.
Heather Marie: My stay here was fantastic! The staff was great and knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions. The location is perfect! Nearly all of the major tourist spots are within a thirty minute walk. The room had everything I needed and was very charming. I will be staying there again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Paige Krossman: My husband and I came and stayed at the College Club for our honeymoon this past week and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the old timey feel and the breakfast each morning. The location is also very convenient as it’s close to multiple coffee shops and amazing restaurants. If you choose to stay here definitely check out Joe’s, it’s super tasty.
Jack Linder: College club of Boston is a great place to stay if you are looking for something historical and centrally located. The bed and amenities left something to be desired, but you cannot have it all with somewhere so historical!
Brian Rogoski: My two day stay College Club was fantastic. The room was beautiful and spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. They are located in a beautiful 1860s brownstone in the Back Bay area, which is filled with plenty of Victorian era charm. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Copley Square & the Boston Public Library's McKim building (which is a required stop for any visitor to Boston), and several "T" stops so getting around the rest of the city is a cinch. I will definitely be back if I make any subsequent visits to the Boston area.
Christopher Baring: Fine place to stay, rates not bad most of the time, closest parking is Boston common garage or Prudential center. But good location otherwise.
Latoya Mitchell: I really love this property. Such a beautiful charm, hidden gem and a unique bed n’ breakfast experience that is a must. I don’t write reviews but always read reviews before making my decision. This was my first time visiting Boston for a early Sunday arrival to a one night stay. I’m a big Airbnb person to feel like a local in the city or place I’m visiting. After looking at the Airbnb’s in Boston most Airbnb reviews would say it felt like a hotel. Which I’m not a big fan of Hotels. So I am glad I came across The College Club of Boston. Check-In was at 3pm. My daughter and I, arrived early a.m and around 11am- felt exhausted with our backpacks. We called and the sweetest lady answered. We asked if we could check-in early and with no problem we were able to at noon. Super friendly staff, super clean, the room 218 was big with a clean fresh smell. I would highly recommend this place. If you can truly appreciate the beauty in old charm and that the older things are the better! Neighborhood was Arlington, quiet, cozy, felt like a home, close to everything, easy public transportation and felt safe. You’ll thank me later! Book it!
Jane Jezard: Meet friends for knitting workshop. Delightful afternoon, lovely room, nice lunch, and convenient location.
Lance H.: What can I say...1800's building, Women's club, 12 foot ceilings... breakfast included just down from Boston Commons.
Marta Karaś: The College Club is a true gem, standing out from other hotels with its unique history and decor. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There is an elevator available.Location: 5/5 …More
Diamela Morales: El lugar es hermoso. Te hace sentir que estás en otra época. Muy buena ubicación si estás recorriendo la ciudad y te moves caminando. Personal muy amable
Rachel Smith: This is an oasis of serenity in downtown Boston. Ideally situated steps away from the Boston Commons, the Public Gardens and thrumming Newbury Street, it exudes an old world charm and intimacy. One feels immediately at home in the rooms lined with wood-panelling and books. It’s a welcome relief from the sterility of most hotels, and the staff are very attentive and kind. I love to stay here whenever I’m in Boston.
Sara Nations: An charming welcome to Boston for our first few days of a New England road trip! Everyone was so kind, and had great resources for recommendations. The location can't be beat - it was so walkable to all the sights we visited: Public Garden and Boston Common, the Freedom Trail, Cheers Bar, Beacon Hill, Newbury Street, the Charles River Esplanade, and Fenway Park to name a few! The College Club of Boston is perfect for a first time in the city!
Vinicius Seolin: Quartos e atendimento ótimos! A parte interna é uma viagem no tempo da mais alta qualidade. Super recomendo
Ragni Rustad: Veldig koselig sted! Likte det Veldig godt ❤❤
