Mike's Welding: what do users think?
Erick Kneeland: It was very good I recommend this place to anybody.
Maaria Kemppainen: Unfortunately, I had a very poor customer experience. My contact efforts were ignored and despite multiple attempts I never received a quote for proposed services.
Edward Roccanti II: Great railing welder and Fabricating
frank egan: Great work great price , all around great experience. I will do more business with them in the future.....
Judie Driscoll: Very Professional & courteous service. The job is always done right the first time & on time. Highly recommend this shop.
T: No one answers the phone, and no one returns messages. Are you guys still in business? Thanks.
Ramon Ham: Nice place.!!!
J. Froio: I've been using Mike's for years. These folks are consummate professionals. The quality of their work and customer service are second to none. They are i believe a second generation family owned business and it shows in their knowledge and pride in workmanship. They're worth every penny everytime.
Nick Marino: Very professional took time to go over my project responded with quote quickly. And I couldn't be happier with results.I would highly recommend this business
Juan Darío Forero Tarquino: Work with them on a time sensitive repair to a critical component used in a validated process for a BioPharma company, their diligence and quality of work are second to none. One of the best experiences with a trade shop I've had.
mike rademacher: Went in with a small job welding an aluminum piece. The shop was great to deal with and the work was perfect. Saved me a ton from having to buy a new part.
Olivia: went in for a do it yourself project- staff was very polite and considerate- gave me great advice on how to complete my project. most places would have either just sold me junk or turned me away.
J: Amazing place
Christine Kerns: don't bother with this place unless you have a big job, (even then look elsewhere) as it seems they can't be bothered with small quick jobs. I have been waiting 2 weeks to just get an estimate and they still haven't gotten to it.... Good Luck if you're foolish to try them

North Bennet Street School: what do users think?
faiyaz ahmad: Excellent
Viet Phan: I’ve been in the Locksmithing program since September 2020 and have had an awesome experience thus far. Rob Dwyer is very personable and was extremely helpful throughout my entire application process. Bob at the front desk and Kristen at the gift shop are super nice people and I look forward to coming in every morning and greeting them. The program head, Barbara Baker, is an amazing teacher and has taught me so much in so little time. She takes the training very seriously and not only expects you to put out the best work that you possibly can, but she will motivate you to do so. Through her instruction, I have gained a large amount of confidence in myself and my abilities both in and out of locksmithing. My time at the school has gone so well that I made the choice to apply for their carpentry program and continue growing my skillset here.
Bennett Locke: I can’t speak to the quality of their woodworking programs. Yet, I can speak at LENGTH about the Locksmith and Security Technology program offered under instructor Barbera Baker.. I endured. This class should be called "Locksmithing: a History from 1800-1980"Barbara Baker knows her history, and that's about it. She knows almost nothing about modern locks that are the current industry standard. I am employed in the field not because of her but in spite of her.Rob O is a handful of gimmie and a mouth full of much obliged.Claire Fruitman is there to protect her instructors, not help students.Avoid this place like the plague.
ca6 Andrew Draper: I would give 10 stars if I could. From day one meeting Rob ( admissions) to tour the school( pre Covid) to now 4 months into my Carpentry program everyone has been absolutely incredible at helping me achieve my goals and get better at what I absolutely love doing - Carpentry and woodworking. I have never been part of such an amazing community where we are driven and connected by our passion to create things by hand and learn as much as possible from our amazing instructors who are a sea of knowledge and help each other. Yes standards are high but for anyone who's into their craft that's not an issue. You show up early, do your work, be responsible and respectful. NBSS is preparing you for the real world. Don't think twice about applying - it will change your life and open your world to an incredible community of craftsmen and craftswomen.
Brandon Ekhator: Love it
Marlena DeBeliso: If college isn't for you, like it wasn't for myself, check out this trade school!! Everyone here is very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient.
Will Perkins: An amazing school with an amazing faculty. I cannot speak for all the programs, but I know that all the piano faculty is completely dedicated to helping students succeed and thrive. I hear the same thing when I speak with students in other programs. Love this school!
Kevin Faherty: Hands on training.
Torunn Thorvaldsen: Such a great experience to go here. The best time of my life.
kris faller: This place is so good... if they will take you, go.
A. P-Svensson: We leave unmolested those who set the fire to the house, and prosecute those who sound the alarm. --Sebastien-Roch Nicolas De ChamfortI would gladly submit to a lie-detector test to support all statements in this review.North Bennet Street School has now had more than five years to offer a peaceful truce to this dispute. They have chosen instead to sit silently or offer weak excuses. As a result, their unwillingness to resolve this issue has fostered hatred, rancor, and malice against me on the part of their "happy" and "successful" graduates and clientele. One has to look no further than the rebuttals to my reviews to see how this reviewer has been portrayed (by people who are ignorant of the facts of this dispute) as stupid, unreasonable, incapable, and possessing a host of other undesirable traits. As I continue my training and form relationships with colleagues and with skilled, award-winning and highly respected artisans and craftsmen in the field, they are impressed by my work ethic, enthusiasm, determination, ability and dedication to this craft. When I share with them my bitter experiences with NBSS, they are shocked and appalled that an institution with "such a good reputation" would behave in such a shameful manner. This "charitable", "philanthropic", tax-exempt, non-profit corporation, whose mandate is to benefit the community and stand out as a beacon for what is just and what is right, has failed miserably in this regard. Proof of one's character is in one's deeds. Their hurtful words and deeds will stand in perpetuity as a witness against them. NBSS's own actions will forever point an accusatory finger at its self.Quoting someone who has completed a similar course, he/she stated, "Any school worth anything will know that to achieve perfection in a jewelry piece is to work long hours after the teaching is over. The fact that they did not allow you to take the work home is ridiculous." I was not allowed to take the work home, not allowed to stay adequate after-hours to work in the studio, and not allowed to hire even a school-approved tutor (even at my own expense) to complete my projects. This commenter goes on to state, "One of the first lessons in jewelry school was that you will be painfully slow at first, and that speed will only increase with practice and repetition." This is a concept NBSS' instructors and administrators simply could not seem to grasp.I don't doubt that others have had wonderful experiences with NBSS. I too have read about the stellar successes of others after the completion of their courses there. I wrote this review to speak of MY experience. MY complete disillusionment and betrayal.
Lincoln Technical Institute: what do users think?
halle baltzer: -1000/10 do not recommend this school if you care about your money or education do not go here. I ended up having to withdraw because they said I was falling when I in-fact was not and all they said when I told them I was withdrawing was how much money Iowe them.
Cherish Wills: If you value your money and education I highly recommend not going to this school or any Lincoln Technical Institute. Biggest mistake I ever made. All they give concern about you for is your money. Super unethical and unprofessional with teachers who give attitude. If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve had classmates who either dropped out because of the system of the school or have been kicked out for the dumbest reasons. 1000/100 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Crismeili Mieses: If you are thinking of going to this school, please don’t!!! Not enough equipment, they just care about your money. They lie about how many certificates you get to get you in. Not professional at all but if you act like they do, they will get you either dropped or report you. There is no communication whatsoever. Only thing I can say is, Ms. Marie and Onneita are really they best ones there. Other than that is horrible.
Tika Mich: ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!. I regret attending this school. I’m so glad that this school is closing down because NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO EXPERIENCE HOW BAD THIS SCHOOL IS!!! The dental program is horrible. Broken critical instruments, when asked why can’t they fix it they have the funds we’re simply given excuses. Nothing is organized. It’s like majority of the staff working there are collecting a free check out of our expense. The staffs are UNPROFESSIONAL there’s only one great teacher in the dental program name MS. Lorelina. Also if you complain about an instructor to the dean you will get reprimanded by the instructor and your grades severely altered to the point you fail! This school has been nothing but a DISSERVICE to me furthering my education. I just want to finish so I can put this experience in the back of my brain where I don’t have to think about it again. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE.
Rooselyne Plaisime: Amazing staff. Hands on experience is cool. Ms. Paulette was right. "What you put in is what you get out." Continue to tell yourself that, and I promise, you'll go far.Update as of today: I graduate nursing school next year!! :)
Julien Guerlain: Lincoln Tech is the best school ever I learn a lot of things, Ester is the best. She helped me a lot. The instructors were great. I just finished my internship and I can’t wait for graduation.🎉
Jimmayra Guerrero: this school is horrible can't even speak your on language just because they don't want you too. plus a teacher named marie is bipolar gives student a hard time, offend students and doest take anything seriously! WORST SCHOOL EVERRRRRRRRRRRRR
manny: Went to this school 🎒 along time 2009 and how to say it was worse decision I did I was young 21 22 years old. I should have done my research
Bernadeau Betty: Hi everyone I'm glad to tell you that Lincoln Tech has a wonderful team. They will help you every step of the way. I was afraid to start, but the staff direction helped me overcome my fear. Now I am an medical assistant graduate.
Damian Knighton: Going to Lincoln Tech Somerville was the best decision. Just like many of you, Covid put me out of job and I needed to create a new game plan. The whole admission, Education and faculty are the best group of people I have ever met. I am a student currently wrapping up my dual certification program. From registration to scheduling the experience has been amazing. Everything that I learned online and on campus I have been able to put to to use in the field. All the instructors are the best. The medical industry is growing and they want smart, quick and talented individuals to join there team. Listen, Apply and discipline yourself, these folks will help you in everyway to finish your selected program, Graduate and find a job. You will challenged and pushed everyday. Don't wait for a pandemic to start a new career. Do it because its your calling to care for people. Thank you Lincoln Tech Somerville team for making my decision to go back to school an easy and worth it.
Kiley Bueler: Update: I have been working for 8 months as a dental assistant and they prepared me so much for it. I feel like they really taught us what to do for the actual day to day office environment and they really helped me. Of course the beginning when you start you still have to learn other things but I feel like I was so prepared because of my teachers I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to become a dental assistant!I had initially put up a negative review because of a situation that turns out to be my misunderstanding, completely my fault for not waiting to speak in person because email sometimes there can be some miscommunication and that's completely my bad! Once I went in and spoke to them I realized I was completely wrong and I apologize profusely! So embarrassing that was all me.Clarissa and Onneita are like my little guardian angels! Idalia and Angelica as well! They have been amazing I could not be more happy and so grateful that I've had these people in my life building me up and helping me get to where I need to be. They work so hard on every single students behalf I don't know how they do it!Another part of the program I absolutely loved besides the staff is that it's all inclusive so basically you don't have to worry about coming out of pocket seperately for textbooks, for tests, uniforms, anything like and it helps take stress off of the process.I couldn't recommend this place more it's like you have this team that has your back and help you get through the process and make sure you're successful as possible.
Jenifer Aguilar: I remember how excited I was when I first stepped into Lincoln Technical School. Great experience and a great resourceful place. I graduated 2019 and now I’m about to be in my last year of my nursing program. Let me tell you this is the first step to take if you want to get an easy way into the Medical Field!! Don’t think about it, just do it!!!!
Diana Perea: This school is not worth going to. I will say some of the teachers were very nice and I loved much but certain things led to me not finishing and now I have the collectors from PA threatening to take actions due to having a hard time making payments.Lost my job due to an injury JUST STARTED A JOB and worrying about my kids.If you CANNOT FINISH OR YOU KNOW YOURE GONNA STRUGGLE DO NOT PUT THIS ON YOURSELF!The most unprofessional!!
Noemi Gallego: Critical:Communication,QualityI currently attend and this school is not flexible at all!!
Yarissa Morales: Positive:Communication,Quality
Xiomara Aguilar: Positive:QualityIn my time as a student I had an excellent experience with the teachers I think they have very professional teachers, at the time of doing my Externship I managed to get into an excellent hospital and get a job position I recommend the school.
Ovelis Arias: My experience in Lincoln Tech was very Good, I just finished my Medical Assisting classes and I'm going back for the Dental Assisting classes.
Sonia Buenrostro: I had a very good experience in Lincoln, everyone is so nice including Esther who received me with a very good attitude everyday, and the teachers are the best they will help you in everything at any time, you will be treated as a friend not a student which I can say made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. I can say that I enjoyed this program very much, I didn't even feel the 9 months I was in here. I completely recommend you join this program.
Juanito Ardon: Está bien bonito el lugar
Thomas Perez: BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU GO TO SCHOOL!I went to this school 2 and half year ago, im requested certain information like my high school diploma that I provide them to get into school, so my issue with this school is that they are denying to give me back or provide me a copy of my high school diploma. At first the personal that works there starts making excuses saying that the institute has change and they don't have, when by law every school has to have all the info for at least 7 years, i said i was going to be patient but the lady from education didn't really wanna look for it and she said that it be handle by someone else and they just hang up on me and they are not answering anymore. SO Where is my info then.
Nayka Etienne Dieudonne: just don't go there if you want to waste your time , i had the worst experience in my life

Weld Right Iron Work, Inc.: what do users think?
Peter M: Took on an interior railing project other people weren't interested in because they said it was too complicated. Fair price, did a great job. Very happy with the results
Anthony Roman: Karini was great on the phone. She walk me through the entire process and was very helpful. Fabricators did a beautiful job, our railing looks amazing. Installers were done in half a day, very happy with the result.
Lou Antico: I am the president of a large apartment complex in Waltham MA. I contacted Johne at Weld Right to quote us on exterior entry railings. It was a pleasure to work with Johne. He and his company are responsive, fairly priced, and exceptionally talented at what they do. The day our railings were installed, the work was done quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. We were so pleased with his work, we had him come back to install the same railings at the rest of our buildings. We would highly suggest Weld Right—they are capable and up to the task.
Kim Rosen: Johne and his team did a fantastic job installing hand rails on our South End Brownstone. They also refinished and painted our existing decorative railings - everything looks great!! Highly reccomended!!
Caroline Culler: Johne did an excellent job repairing the iron railing in front of our building. I got several quotes for the work, and I'm glad I went with Weld Right. Fair price, excellent craftsmanship. Thank you!
Jenn DeBarge Goonan: A+ customer service, high quality craftsmanship - we highly recommend Johneand his team.
Richard Daley: Wonderful experience and excellent workmanship.Johne was very good in helping us visualize the best look for our stairs and fabrication was beautiful.Carine was personable and did a great job facilitating the job
michelle fornabai: Exceptionally beautiful work! The project, a minimalist facade and fence for Grass Pillow, an outdoor art site, was done with extraordinary precision in the shop and in the field--with perfect alignment across an 80' distance--a work of art in itself! As an artist I feel so lucky to have found Johne and the team at Weld Right--it is a rare and true pleasure working with them.
Nicole McNally: Our house has beautiful masonry and custom iron fencing in the back. We needed a gate (where the patio meets the stone steps) so our young kids could use the space safely. We didn't build the original design, so we had to find someone to match the existing iron work. After some research, I found Weld Right. They came out for a measurement and provided 2 pricing options (with education about each type of finish). We decided to move forward with them and are beyond thrilled with the results. They matched the existing design perfectly. They connected it to the house shingles and gate seamlessly. And, more importantly, they included the safety and functionality mechanisms we needed. The finished gate / fencing connectors far our expectations. Can't recommend their work enough.
Eric Brennan: Very efficient and excellent service as well as product. We changed designs twice before we finalized everything and he still was ok with it! Would recommend for sure and would use again in the future. Nice to work with a contractor that sticks to a schedule.....
Ryan Kennedy: Excellent work by Weld Right. They prepared a security door and bars for my condo in the South End. They provided an upfront quote, took measurements, gave me a drawing of the proposed final product. The final decorative bars installed look great, and the install was quick. Would recommend!
Michelle Healy: The process was so easy and Johne was extremely patient with me. The only challenge I encounter was deciding on the type of rail design. It was reasonable, good product, painless installation and great service throughout.
Lexi Crivon: Excellent work, it just took a bit longer to do the job, as it was a small one
Tony Fontes: I wanted a custom rack built and Weld Right nailed the specs perfectly. Excellent quality and service, Very pleased customer.
Jen: Jhoni and his crew did a wonderful job custom designing and installing our modern bannister. They performed a professional job in a timely manner and will come back to fix any issues the customer has. Thanks from Jen and Francisco!
Rich Ross: I would like to highly recommend Weld Right. Johne and his staff just completed a wrought iron railing on my outdoor steps. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the workmanship and the whole process dealing with Johne (he’s a nice guy!!) and his inside staff Alexia. We set up an appointment to come to my home for a quote. He showed up on time and was able to finish the product with installation as agreed. During the production phase of my custom made railing, Alexia called me a few times with updates which was greatly appreciated. I hope that anyone that reads my comments will call Weld Right for a quote. There is no doubt that they will be a happy customer too.
Rick Mason: Johne, Alexia, and the whole team made this an excellent experience! From the day they came out to measure to the final installation, all went as promised - something rare in too many contractors today. I would recommend Weld Right Iron Works for anyone - residential or commercial - based on their value, ability to solve any situation, and service. Got 3 quotes - made the right choice with Weld Right!
Jill Crafts: In one day, Johne picked up, fixed, and delivered a family heirloom candlestick...for free. We highly recommend his caring and friendly services.
Andrew Milas: Expectations met and exceeded!!! Johne and Weld Right did an awesome job from design to installation. Will definitely be calling again for future projects in the works. Thank you!!!
John Furtado: Great work Johne did a great job will be recommending on future projects
Alexis Porras: very professional, great communications by email, they built and installed a simple outdoor stair rail, exactly what I wanted, good price, showed up exactly when promised. thank you!

Metalwerx: what do users think?
Elizabeth Noonan: Diane did a fantastic job in the beginners jewelry class I took. I walked away with several skills I am excited to build on! Diane kept us on schedule and I had a lot of fun! Peg was the TA and I’m so grateful for her patience with me!
Eric Anderson: Instructor Diane was wonderful!
joan geisler: Metalwerx is an amazing community of metalsmiths and instructors that I can't say enough positives about. The classes are top notch and are taught by the best of the best. The virtual classes are absolutely fantastic, especially wonderful during the covid-19 era, and they are well put together. Their symposiums are awesome. Yea. I love Metalwerx and have advanced and developed my skills by attending this treasure of a school.
Amanda Twaddle: Great facility, great teachers, friendly and helpful staff. Great covid-19 protocols.
MATTHEW ALEXANDER: Some of the teachers are pretty terrible. Be aware not to choose Patrick McMillan’s class, you will spend money & time by learning nothing and be INSULTED. If you already chose his class, be sure to ask him give you the materials kit you already paid in your tuition, otherwise, he will keep all of them by himself. Shame on him.
Wayne Werner: I teach workshops all over the country. You will not find a better run, more well equipt studio anywhere. The level of professionalism of the staff is very high. The student body is well rounded from beginners to advanced. They have local instructors as well as visiting masters. The community of makers in the area makes METALWERX Wonderful and diverse. You can not go wrong taking a workshop, renting a bench or a small studio here, its THAT GOOD.
Hilary Halstead Scott: Outstanding staff and programming. Metalwerx gets a fantastic line up of master workshop instructors each year. And they are such a hub for makers all over New England. Way to create an amazing jewelry community!
anna Kitzis: Great staff and teachers.
Tammy Borges: Learned so much. Wish the class was two days but incredible value!
Eric Snyder: The best in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Fabrications...absolute beyond reproach.
Discover Waltham: It's a school for making metal jewelry and other metal arts as well as a place to buy unique hand crafted metal works.
