A Y: Since the studio offers multiple services by various professionals, I’d like to point out that the 3 stars are not with regards to the studio (it seems wonderful) or a professional, it is with regards to mismatch of expectations on a specific offering, postural yoga. I had one intro class and while it was a truly great yoga class, I had very different set of expectations based on the description and the name of the class. I expected there would be focus on posture, something different from regular yoga classes, and I’d learn something new. What it felt like was that it was a great individual yoga class, but I didn’t notice what would merit the name “postural”, or any poses that would differentiate the class from a class at a regular studio. Perhaps this is something that comes later if one takes multiple classes consistently, however, the price point led to certain expectations on my end that were not met.I tried floating and loved it. Everyone at the studio is friendly and welcoming.
BSH Digitas: The owner and the people that work there are simply the top in the industry. It is a very calming atmosphere with the highest trained massage therapists and estheticians! You must go!! All organic products! You feel at home the minute you step in the door.Located on the fabulous Newbury Street Boston!

Jasmine Zhou: I did my lip fillers for the first time here. After doing a bunch of research and looking at photos, I knew this would be the best place to get natural looking results. I highly recommend going to Jordan! She is super patient and did not pressure me into doing anything I didn’t want to. She walked through the entire process and was extremely honest. Have also had multiple microneedling treatments which I love and more recently MOXI laser. Timea is amazing, it was much more comfortable that microneedling almost feels like a rubber band snap. Marissa Henson: Everyone at VV is knowledgeable and extremely skilled. The thing I like most about the vibe there is that the focus will always be on the area you’ve gone there to address, and there is never an off handed comment about other procedures they think you should consider. If you ask for honest feedback about a skin concern then they will give you an opinion and recommendation, of course, but only after the patient brings it up. This is an awesome practice for two reasons - 1) it is a careful and considerate way of discussing a topic that could be sensitive to patients and 2) I don’t ever feel like anyone is upselling me. Building trust with patients is the key to retaining them for the long haul, and that’s probably why I always see so many happy faces there :)

She’s always given me her honest opinion and helped me make a plan of action to tackle my problem areas. I cannot thank Ashley and the entire staff at Vega enough! Stephanie (SMP): Short review: No matter what happens at Vega or the severity of the situation, never expect to get your money back. And considering the treatments are expensive, buyer beware. Owner will also ghost you when you ask to get money back.Long review: I have been to Vega Vitality a few times before for a facial and a medspa treatment with no issues. I went back a few weeks ago for a new procedure I had never done. The NP knew I had never done this particular treatment. I ended up getting a massive reaction to the procedure which caused me two doctor visits, an antibiotic and multiple creams to fix, as well as over a week in hiding. When I first reached out the money I had the reaction I sent an email with photos to them. Their patient coordinator just responded that the NP who did the procedure would get back to me. 2 emails later she finally did at the end of the day and said it was a normal reaction and people get red and irritated. I'm pretty sure she never opened up my photos or read my email in detail as my situation was nothing like the normal reaction. I felt unheard and ignored for a full day while I was in the throws of a massive problem. I asked for the owner to call me which that evening she did. She thankfully took it more seriously and gave recommendations over text for treatment. She admitted that they did not do the procedure on me on the lowest introductory setting because "I had micro needling before". Every area of my face that was on the low setting (forehead, chin, nose) I had no reaction. The rest of my face where the setting was higher I did. This is my view is their negligence as I had never had this particular procedure.Despite me having to spend $500+ on doctors and remedies plus cancelling a weeks worth of plans and being in massive discomfort, I have yet to get my money back despite asking and the owner is now ghosting me about it. Procedure was $750, no small amount. I was offered nothing for my troubles. Zero.While they can't control me having a reaction to a procedure they COULD have lessened the severity of it and taken a more conservative approach And for a client who had so many problems on a procedure that effected their life for a week+, to not give me my money back or offer up anything is just poor form.

Ilona Roberts: As someone who’s had constant upper back and neck pain for almost 10 years, I can attest to the power of effective physical therapy. I went to Wellness Medical Center when it became clear that my pain was getting worse and no amount of massages would make a difference long term. I am so glad I did! The improvement has been remarkable and I’m even sleeping so much better. The office is clean and welcoming and the staff is awesome. Highly recommend!!
Briy View: I went there for an injury I had gotten in a car accident a year ago. The service is not very helpful the team tells you some poses to try on your own while your there along with a couple stretches. You pay to help yourself, honestly wasn't worth it. The only thing they actually did was apply a heating tool on my affected shoulder sometimes. Then having to go to the doctor every month a costly visit. The worst thing was being discharged before being healed which my arm still effects me today months later.

vashisht agrawal: They will lead you to believe through murky language that your insurance covers most of their service and keep calling you for follow up appointments. This is exactly what’s wrong with the healthcare industry of this country. I was told very clearly that I will only have to pay a co-pay. They kept calling me back in for more and more services and saying that it’s covered through insurance. I now have a bill that I can’t afford!

Gineran Binyahya: I first came to Dr. Beneski on recommendation of my primary care physician. I was having jaw pain that would not allow me to open my mouth. I could hardly fit a spoon in my mouth to eat. It was so bad I had to sip my food. The pain would effect everything I did because the jaw was always painful and tight.After meeting Dr. Beneski I had an exam that allowed me to understand what was happening in my jaw. I was glad he explained what he was going to do because the first visit was painful. This pain passed within moments and then I felt improvement. I could tell from the first visit that what he was saying was wrong was true and the program he planned made sense.Several weeks have passes and I am now able to eat as I please and the constant pain is gone. As a bonus my neck is also feeling much better and I feel taller.Dr. Beneski has now recommended that I get a bite guard so that the tension will not come back. The way he has explained it makes sense. Before you have a bite guard fit, you should solve the mechanical issues of the jaw so that you fit a bite guard to a good situation. Why put a bite guard in a bad mouth?I would recommend that before you go and spend $400-$500 on a bite guard you give Dr. Beneski a call. You might just save yourself a lot of pain and money

Fatima Taylor: I have had moving experiences at Cloud 9 in my attempts to heal and detoxify. The Mother Son Duo are very knowledgeable and compassionate. They know their products, make wonderful suggestions for services and helped me navigate a painful breakup and chronic illness and recover from car accident injuries. I had the opportunity to float, use the electromagnetic field, Sunlighten Infrared Sauna and the Rasha.
Edina: Great customer service and soothing experience. The salon has a very welcoming and comforting atmosphere. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and knowledgeable about everything the salon offers. Excited to try out the different amenities
Donna Otis: I was supposed to use the infrared sauna today at noon. I even took a Lyft to get to this appointment about 10 minutes early. When I arrived, the man at the desk had me wait while he attended to someone else there, which is cool with me, but then he took a phone call over checking me in. I was given no instruction after checking in on where to put my coat or shoes, I had to ask if he wanted me to put on the sandals next to the desk. The people after me got treated very well compared to me and were shown where to put their coat and handed sandals without asking.I was then told he was waiting for the person before me to get out of the sauna. So, my assumption was "Okay, probably 5-10 minute wait at most. Cool with me." I was then ignored for about 30 minutes with no explanation as why I was waiting so long. Another customer arrived around 12:20 and was let in to an OPEN infrared sauna. That's when I decided I was done and leaving. After getting the next customer all set, he went to the back again before I called to him to let him know I was leaving. My appointment was at noon, and it was now almost 1230.This desk guy who didn't give a damn about me 2 seconds ago then started trying to "apologize" while I gathered my things. Not charging me for the service is not a good enough option. If I had been told I was going to be waiting 30 minutes, it'd be one thing. I could've gone for a walk or relaxed, but NO, I was just told I was waiting for the prior person to get out while there was another infrared sauna open to use. It essentially ruined my spa day that I'd planned for myself after a tough week.I will need a true apology, not a stuttering one where you're just trying to save face, if I'm ever to give this place a chance ever again. I wanted to support a local business in JP, but they didn't want my money.Note: I was refunded like I asked of the man at the desk to do while I was gathering my things, so they can at least do one thing right.

Volha Kiyenia: I love Cloud 9 Float & Wellness not only for the most Innovative and effective methods to fixing your body but for the most welcoming and warm atmosphere in the center. Angie and Alexandros feel like a part of the family already to me and my friends. I have personally been coming to Cloud 9 for 4 years sometimes frequently and sometimes less frequently, but always notice only positive changes in the center. As of right now, I am the biggest fan of Saunas and PEMF (pulse electromagnetic field). Enjoyed Magnesium bath a lot, but prefer the activities that can be shared with a company of friends. The center is an excellent place to spend quality time with your friends with a great benefit to a body and soul. To cut the long story short, it is a Gem of the Neighborhood. Thank you!!!!

Ian Mahar: I don't normally write negative reviews, but I kind of feel obligated to in this case, because I'd feel ethically uncomfortable with not saying something.I've been coming to Cloud 9 to float for years, and totally fell in love with floating. I've come here many times, and I was initially so grateful to have a local float place that I tried to overlook some of the unpleasant experiences I had with this particular spot over the years.That reached a head recently, when they committed a particularly negligent mistake while I was in the tank, by completely forgetting I was there and failing to notify me that my session time was up. This was actually the SECOND time they had done this to me, so it's not an isolated incident, but indicative of a serious management lapse. Basically, in both instances I'd signed up for a 90 minute float, but instead of the lights/pump coming on at the end of the session as normal, I was just left there indefinitely.It was really stressful, with my perception of time seeming wildly out of whack with reality, but I  thought I should push through as it was ostensibly only a 90 minute session. In the end, by the time I'd gotten out, it was 150 minutes instead of 90, and in addition to my schedule for the day being really screwed up both times (as I'd had important plans for after the float), by the end of the second instance I felt really uncomfortable with the fact that I'd been left in there.When I asked the only staff member onsite how this could have happened, he said, "well, the fuse burned out, so it's not our fault". It's beyond irresponsible that they could lose track of someone in their pods, when there are only three in the whole facility.I felt super uncomfortable with the idea of trusting these people again, and I'd been charged for upcoming floats, so I called to ask for a refund for these unused floats. Their response was, "your credit card has already been charged for them, so we don't have to refund you".Floating can be a psychologically intense (and beneficial) experience, and that makes it even more important to be able to trust the people managing the float center while you're in there. I can honestly say that my experiences here have made me anxious about the whole idea of floating again, anywhere, and that's really sad as I'd previously been super into it. Overall, I feel like I'm worse off from having gone here. I would strongly recommend, for anyone that's curious about floating: you should definitely do it, but certainly not here.
Jameson Viens: Cloud 9 is a great local option for float tank therapy. I honestly should go more, as I enjoy the process and find it very calming and helpful. The staff is friendly and the tanks are spacious enough, and have enough headroom to hopefully avoid any issues people have with small spaces. Highly recommend floating. Give it a try!

Sinclair Braxton: What an amazing relaxing experience. I walked in the building and was intrigued by thw thought of floatation tanks. The Cloud 9 float was a great intro to the world of floating. Scheduling was easy and efficient and the followup emails told us everything I needed to know to prepare. Soo. As I stepped in the door, I found the environment very soothing and very conducive to a great float experience. It's clear they understand the importance of the ambience to optimize the experience. The entire facility is clean, clean, throughout. I found the experience extremely relaxing and did briefly at times enjoy the sense of "letting go" I was able to put all thoughts aside and just chill. It was so essential to achieving the deepest benefit. I am excited about further sessions and so appreciate Cloud 9 for providing such a great introduction to floating.

Debra Bramble: I had a good experience with the Epsom salt bath. First of all I know it's good for me and I often do home baths. However this is a whole new ball game floating in a super large egg container with tons of salt floating and enjoying the quiet solitude. It was a bit hard for me to relax my body but eventually I did. They offer all you need...just bring yourself! I have two more visits and I'm sure I'll get a better experience each time. Cloud 9 is beautifully decorated with several alternative healing modalities. The owners are very nice and offer anything you need to make your visit a great experience. I've tried two so far and I'm very happy each time I've visited.
