Chervon Montgomery: I cant even believe some of the comments on here they are either rival hair bar owners or straight up haters because intriguing hair is the only hair bar I go to for big weave and wig purchases. The hair is always luxurious and freaking beautiful. I've gotten countless compliments on my hair. To the owner Nikki you are the best your hair bundles are amazing keep up the great work.

Haley Ritchie: Such a great experience! Very knowledgeable! I’m a recovering cancer patient and my hair is coming back looking like a mullet. Nikki helped me get my look back. She made me a 26” custom color (ginger) wig with bangs in one week! They cut the bangs perfectly on my head to make sure it fit properly and put a band in the wig to help keep it secure! Love this place and highly recommend their shop! During my visits I’ve seen some beautiful installs on other customers. High quality products and great staff! Can’t beat this shop!

Roshni: The service I received was a 360 install. I called and asked if I needed to drop the wig off before the appointment to get knots bleached, plucking, etc (wig prep). As recommended, I ended up dropping the wig off a day prior to my Appt. The reviews are accurate that everyone is nice and professional. Very approachable hair stylists.However I gave 2 stars because nothing was done to my wig in preparation for the install. They didn’t pluck the hairline, wash it...nothing. Dropping it off the day before was unnecessary. They did offer to give me some baby hairs, but I didn’t want them. I did get the wig flat ironed, but I do wish there was more to the service. I don’t think glueing the wig down and trimming the lace amounts to $150.

Kee Bee: Had 3 bundles of Brazilian deep wave installed earlier this week. My natural hair wasn't blending too well, but Nikki and Nikki (I don't know if they both spell it the same) blow dried, flatironed, and curled my leave out to blend it in. The two ladies are high spirited with a great sense of humor. Nikki #2 did an amazing job! She doesn't braid super tight to where your eyes look Chinese, and she sewed the bundles in so quick I was for sure they would come loose. But nope. They're still secured and I can't even tell I have cornrows under the tracks. I straightened my deep wave yesterday and the hair still looks beautiful and bouncy with VERY minimal shedding when I comb/brush it. The quality of hair is great and it's real human hair! I dont understand a couple of these other reviews stating otherwise. I do wish that they were a full service salon so that they can have a more intimate relationship with the customer's hair. When I find someone I'm comfortable with, I only want that person to work on my hair throughout the entire process from wash to style. But now that they know what's up with my hair, I'm ok with washing it at home before I get my sew ins.Highly recommend and they gained a client for life!

They have really cheap $25 ones to high end medical grade $200-$400 range. When I was looking for a certain color/style, he knew which ones had those shades and helped me try them on. You also get a free wig cap with the purchase. :) Definitely returning!

The one thing is, since it’s Massachusetts and they are at the heart of boston, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE(the wigs) but everything else is pretty affordable. They are very helpful. More than being pleasant with their clients, the staff immediately treats you as though you you’ve been going to them for years; they treasure you as a person, not just a client. Now, onto the work: thoughtful color formulation, modern technique, excellent communication, and historical gathering before recommending how you should care for your hair (while keeping environmental factors in mind: they ask about habits, medication, hard water exposure). Every step is explained along the way, and I loved it. Lastly, I walked out of the salon feeling myself. My hair was silky, bouncy, and the mushroom color was beautiful. She revived my hair and made it look amazing. I honestly wouldn’t let anyone else cut, color or do my hair extensions. This salon really does have the best quality of hair!! Gaby is super funny and really is a hair goddess. She’ll never let you push your hair to limits it can’t go and works with you so you have the healthy hair of your dreams. She has the goal of having you leave that place feeling/looking your absolute best every time! Both her and Lori really know what they are doing and I swear once you start coming here you won’t be able to go anywhere else!

She over charges for wigs and wig installment! My hair looks horrible and fake! Worst experience ever!! I can’t even show it in public!! I have to wear a headband to hide this ugly wig and wig installment!!!! If I had known that my frontal wig install and the wig I purchased from her was going to look so mediocre I would have saved hundreds of dollars!! Don’t buy hair from her without seeing it first!! It’s a bait and switch, what you see on her website is definitely NOT what you will get…cheap lace on the wig frontals that looks trashy!! These pictures are one day after the install!! Stay Clear and save your money!!
Danielle Johnson: Before coming to Sherene I had never worn a wig in my life, but I found myself needing one due to severe alopecia caused by a medical treatment. I knew nothing about the different types of hair, closures, installs, nothing. My initial consultation was so informative, I knew I made the right decision in coming to her. Fast forward to installation day, the entire process was amazing. She walked me through everything she was going to do beforehand and made sure I was comfortable. The custom wig she made for me was better than I expected it to be. It was so full and a perfect length and perfectly constructed to fit my head. The final product was amazing!! Again, having so experience with wigs, I was certain that it would look like a wig and I would leave there feeling a little uncertain. Let me tell you, the finished look was nothing like what I expected. From the part to the hairline, the baby hair, and the beautifully bouncy curls this unit is flawless. I highly recommend Sherene. Her craftsmanship and professionalism are unmatched and I can officially say I am hooked and will definitely be coming back again and again.

Somonia Webb: On 6/27 I received a lace wig install by Sherene. Let me first start by talking about the process before the wig install. I dropped my wig off to her two days before the appointment so she could pluck and bleach the knots. When I came in on 6/27 the wig I brought in look transformed. It looks absolutely amazing and it was not even on my head yet. As I arrived she was finishing up another client and when I say the other clients hair look layer to the gods! I got extremely excited! Sherene really took her time install my wig she paid so much attention to detail down to my part. When she was done with the instillation my first comment was “this is my hair now” and Sherene replied “and don’t let anyone tell you different”. The salon was exactly clean all the ladies in there where extremely sweet and I walk out look better then I came in. What more could you ask for!
