Pro EMS: what do users think?
Harshit Raj: They are blatantly dishonest when it comes to billing. They lie to you about the billing and when you spend a few hours on the phone with them, insurance and the hospital and get all your facts right they hide behind "but this is policy". I am really not how are their billing practices even legal.
Pj S: very unprofessional when they came into my house started asking al these questiopns to my mother and the girl said i am talking to her then she procceded to tell her it was her progotive to say if she anted to go to the hospital i saw my mother getting mixed up and then i stepped in and said she is going then she conyinues as if they did not want to take her they said there is nothing wrong with her said the nurse was just here and she said her blood pressure was low she got very faint heart beats she said she should get checked out better safe then sorry
Joe B: Great customer service
Adrian: "PRO EMS" A.K.A "Professional Ambulance Svc" A.K.A "Professional Ambulance Serv" overcharges your health insurance company whom will only pay reasonable and customary charges for ambulance services. The remaining balance is immediately sent to First Financial Resources collection agency without even contacting you. This is an absolutely deplorable company.
Nicolas Charbonnier: Gréât serviceResults in 12 hours
Lynne Bennett: Professional Ambulance Has Amazing Dispatchers and First Responders! Patient and Professional service everyday, all day!Thank you for al you do :)
Sara Truong G: They are so fast and they know what they are doing. We got tested at 7am and at 12pm the next day we already received the test results. While many places claim that they do RT-PCR test for travelling purpose, this place is by far the best. They saved us a lot of stress. Highly recommended!
Lindsey N.: Excellent site for covid testing. Easy to make an appointment online, affordable at $80 for a 24-48 PCR result, very clean and efficient with friendly workers.
Patricia Calioro: Shout out to all the EMT ‘s managing the COVID testing sites in Cambridge. Everyone was so kind and considerate.
Joseph Carney: EMT's Super!!! Horrible customer service around billing issues...
Brian Zug: Wack
Valerie Harlowe: Money mongers. CONSUMER BEWARE. Aren’t contracted with insurance and will not accept negotiated rate from insurance companies. They will send you to collections and have you pay the remainder of their inflated rate.
Christian Chenard: Recently, in July 2018, my Mom was a terminal patient at Beth Israel hospital in Boston, MA. On what turned out to be s very busy ambulance day for Boston and Cambridge, MA ambulances and first responders, I had contacted Professional Ambulances and requested they transport Mom to a hospice in Wayland, MA. Well in spite of ever changing ambulance call priorities, Professional sent Frankie and James who did an outstanding and caring job of getting Mom to her destination in spite of all the chaos surrounding an underground gas leak in the Beth Israel Streeter t area and related traffic congestion. The care these two Professionals demonstrated as I rode with them in back, with Mom, was heartwarming given Mom’s prospects. Also, as a combat medic for over 35 years, with many years on ambulances, I could tell how cool and well trained these two professionals were. Well done to Professional Ambulance of Cambridge, MA. We will gladly refer you to others and call upon you again, should the need arise.
Joe Bombino: I work with a lot of Ambulance companies and Pro is by far the best. They're all great people and extremely good at their jobs. I recommend Pro 100%

Cataldo Ambulance: what do users think?
Chris Hrubesh: If I could rate 0 stars I would. 5 minute ride with little to no medical assistance provided and the bill was 2400 dollars. Absolute crooks if you ask me. Do everything you possibly can to steer clear of this company. If possible drive yourself to the next county over in order to avoid these scammers.
J K: Terrible company with terrible management. They put the public in the towns they serve in danger every single day.
Unknown: Do NOT APPLY FOR HOLYOKE as an emt, paramedic or dispatcher!! Rock and frank are the most disrespectful leaders out there and will not care about you! HR does nothing but side with them and its just an awful place to work with all the drama! The owner of the company does not care and if you complain you will get fired! They dont put patients first and the protocols and procedures are all over the place with many laws broken! The turn around rate is awful and I feel bad for the only good supervisors who try and fix it! Pay and time is not worth the stress and tears! Work for AMR, chapin or alert!
Julien Barthelemy: Did not get a bill from them. Found out that they charged me through my credit score.
Meaghan Murphy: Appalling customer service. Many calls on my ambulance ride, on 3 occasions now I have said to a representative on the phone please send me the bill so I can bring this to my insurance company but they will not send the printed bill or even email the bill- nothing. I am also reporting to BBB. Hopefully you never have an emergency where you need to use this service because their business practices are not above board.
Justin Hammer: Worked here for a while and i would like to say this is one of the most fraudulent companies out there. They rack up bills with unecessary charges. The owner seems to have an issue with race as i have notice the minority employees are treated less then the caucasian employees. Little do they know that without us this company would not be running. Steer clear if you can this place not only does not care about patients they transport but employees as well. Sorry excuse for a company owner.
Danie Juste: I was charge almost 3000 dollars for only 3 miles, that’s crazy.
Becca “Beck, Neko, Becca” G: They literally discriminate against people they hire with unnatural hair color.
Frank Lin: I didn’t ask to be transfer from school to hospital which was less than 5 miles and they charge me over $1700, how can someone just graduated high school be able to pay for this ridiculous amounts of money. I called my insurance company and they later sent me a mail that said my ride from school to hospital and transfer from hospital to another hospital is covered. But I still received bills after I got my mail from insurance company. This is extortion period. My freshman year again with this ambulance company and I was charged over $5000. How can they make this so expensive.
Zachary Smith: Call the woo wooooooo
Elizabeth Raposa: There a fraud ambulance company who holds patients hostage and forces them to go to hospital after patient refuses with the paramedic team and bills them for being a hostage so my friend and I left the state wondering who gave this company the right to hold my friend hostage in a ambulance to the hospital? What happened to the right to refuse care in America? Don't pay them
jeff williams: You might just as well not call, they could care less, all bout money.
Jill Cyr: If I could give 0 stars I would.. my story is long, but please read if you're reading because you care about your loved ones. My elder mother was recently released from the hospital after a two and a half week stay which included 2 surgeries, a vascular bipass and a toe amputation. She was not sent to a rehab (this is a different story for a different review) and was sent home via ambulance and carried by a stair chair to her 3rd floor apartment. After a week and a half of being home, she had an appointment for an ultrasound with her surgeon. Cataldo arrived with a wheelchair van, not a non ambulance transport crew ( again.. another story for a different review). Because the wheelchair van only requires one driver and does not carry a stair chair on board, the gentleman called on his cellphone and asked Josh who answered if there was an ambulance crew who could assist. Josh's response while in speaker for me to hear was that it was not their job to "lug" her up and down her stairs. I was shocked at the lack of compassion in his response to his fellow worker. As a former 911 dispatcher in a city ( yes the same city my mom resides) that contracts cataldo ambulance I thought maybe they'd be willing to send someone. I realize that ambulances are for emergency transportation, but they also accommodate non emergency transport, such as the ride home for my mom. I called the following day to voice my concer and spoke to Mike who again was very quick to dismiss me and my concerns about the lack of compassion and willingness to help. The situation with my mother is a temporary one and thankfully we only have to endure a few appointments and having to get her to them. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with these cold-hearted people long term. Thankfully, the local fire department is still willing to help out situation. If you have a choice in picking your transport, choose anyone else!
Mel Vanders: Waited soooo long at the hospital to get a ride less than 5 miles away and then I get charged $1725.00. This is absolutely ridiculous. Something needs to be done about these crazy charges. Give me a break. Someone should be ashamed of themselves. I wouldn’t give a single star.
Vexta Relos: Absolute crooks. 1700 for a 5 minute ambulance ride. I'll never call one again that's for sure.
Furkan Eris: They have been billing me for months for some small portion of a bill that my insurance company has said they have paid 10 times over. I have no clue what I am still being charged for and they can't give a reason for it either. This is basically extortion at this point. Don't use them if you have any other choice.
Grace Amanda: Stephen Leonard should not be an EMT, point blank period. He doesn’t know how to treat patients properly or respectfully, and unfortunately a friend of mine had to deal with his BS a few days ago while being transported to the hospital. Leonard used the words “You people are so dramatic” and repeatedly disregarded the patient/my friends feelings about their own health. This is sooo unacceptable and people like him should not be hired to work with the public.
Thao Le: End up with debt collector without any bill to my insurance ,email or notice letter from them ( I gave my insurance info to them while on a ride to ER )
Taylor Branco: This location is TERRIBLE. I cannot express that enough.. my grandmother requires an ambulance to be transported to weekly appointments and they bring here there no problem (most days). Except one day they were late to pick her up and as a result arrived to an important appointment late and was unable to be seen. They are also late EVERY SINGLE TIME she needs to be picked up, they are late up to 3 hours late each time. My family and I understand there are emergencies, but she is waiting 3 hours everyday she’s there and is asked to be picked up by 10:30 am each time and they do not arrive till 2 pm... this is unacceptable. Again, we know it is an emergency service and she’s non-emergency, but my family and I can’t justify there being an emergency 3 times a week at 10:30 every time.
Jose Rodriguez: I don't know who you are, or the services you provide but somehow I ended up with a collection from This company, and I have never used your services. I deserve explanations.
Tango22 “Sara T”: I woke up around 3am unable to move neck down. I was in excruciating pain and it's the first time in nearly 30 years I have ever ASKED someone to call 911 and an ambulance.. being my 81yr grandmother because I was at her house that night. The two guys had to pick me up (I'm not huge, besides the point tho) and the driver who had my nana up front told her I was basically being dramatic, it's just a sinus infection. Well that sinus infection was endocarditis, a heart infection that had pieces of infection break off to my lungs, creating the inability to breathe well and move.. had I gone a few more hours the Drs said it wouldve been a whole different situation. I am also a 100% disabled marine corps veteran. Cataldo won't work with me on the ambulance bill that is 9 months old.. sent it to collections.. now its going my credit report because of something out of my control eith the VA despite the VA submitting the bill for payment approval in front of me! So cataldo wont pull the bill out of collections while the VA is actively working on fixing it & they wont contact the VA themselves either! This is how Cataldo treats disabled veterans and wont work with them!!

Armstrong Ambulance Service, Inc.: what do users think?
Nick’s Irrigation Service LLC: Avoid at all costs! Terrible company who should be ashamed of themselves.
Kiley Oren: Almost was ran off the road by them (in traffic, no emergency). When we looked over they were hysterically laughing. Disturbing and bizarre.
F L: The worst billing and collections department. Insurance spoke to them multiple times to come to an agreement on price, came to said agreement, and I was still sent a bill and demand letter from their in house lawyer. $60/minute is not what your service costs to run, overpriced and simply sleazy business practice. Felt like extortion the whole time
Kenneth Ziniti: Terrible experience. Inappropriate personnel on the phone and in the ambulance. Not qualified to perform basic functions for care and support when transporting patients.
Marian Nihan: They have a contract with encompass rehab hospital. Have found them to be very unreliable … often late by an hour or more. They are understaffed and overbook appointments. No back up plans . Meanwhile patients and providers are left waiting or worse, do not get to scheduled appointments.. These appointments are very hard to come by and not easy at all to reschedule. So when transport screws up there are huge consequences and really nothing anyone can do to compensate for that. Call a different service if you hope to get somewhere .
Jean Bossanelli: I would like to thank you the team that took care of me from LMH to MWH on Thursday night. You all made me feel so comfortable and relieved alot of the stress I was feeling. You were professional and so kind. Thank you again....🤗😷
Robbie Matlock: Their Billing Department is predatory, unhelpful, and has led me to tell my friends and family to call a Lyft or let me die in the gutter instead of calling Armstrong.
David Earle: They clearly have poor logistics, and overbook. They dropped a patient at our office for a 10 minute appointment, refused to wait, then said there would be at least a 90 minute wait for pick-up of a frail, elderly patient from a rehab center, which was clearly inappropriate. Regular staff could not help. Manager was very nice, but stated nothing could be done due to other patient needs. Seems like they chronically have this problem, and could fix it with better scheduling.
dump truck: Horrible service they claim they take insurance but they don’t it’s a big scam and a rip off I’ll call Uber next time never use this company again
kaila stewart: Seriously call an Uber. The $15 ride will be nothing in comparison to the $3500+ you’ll be billed. The inexperienced EMT couldn’t even put an IV in properly and this corrupt company is preying on the most vulnerable in the community. I will write letters to MA government about this company and their thieving ways.
Marc Gaeta: Careful you may end up with a $2,056.94 bill after using this company I speak from experience👍 Remember don’t use private ambulance services unless a public one isn’t available
Lazar Mandinov: I had to call 911 a few months ago and was picked up by Armstrong. I was charged almost $2,000 for a short drive to the hospital and less than 10 min of monitoring. There was a misunderstanding with my insurance, and Armstrong didn't get the full amount right away. Instead of clarifying this with the insurance, which is one of the best, they preferred to threaten with sending me to a collection. My insurance had paid the bill in full, and I still got their final notice. The female person in the billing department was extremely rude and totally unprofessional. Never used them if there is no emergency and there is no choice. They shouldn't be in this business at all.
Josue Lopez: This company is A scam they ruin my credit they charge me instead of the person who actually live in the areaI will be contact my lawyer
Brian SMITH: I'm continually amazed w the Excellent care I recieve. Personally want to thank Jackie from my last trip. Where do I send the flowers ?Thank you !!
Ann Walt: Company’s like this should NOT take on medical transport work if they DO NOT have the resources to show up at the scheduled time, and get the patient to there appointment on time!
Svetlana Ostrovskaya: Waited for TWO!! hours for Armstrong's ambulance to pick up my elderly mother from her dentist. Dentist was not surprised and said Armstrong is famous for being very late. They accept more orders for rides then they have available cars, and unable to keep up with pick ups. They drive people TO the appointments but don't have enough cars to pick them up! So customers get stuck at their appointments!I had good experience with Ride and other transportation companies and never had more then 15-20 min delay. We have never waited to be picked up for TWO hours! Terrible service. Never again!
carol shikles: My nephew was having a seizure and Armstrong responded to the 911 call. They treated him like a criminal !!! He was on the floor unresponsive and seizing and they were on top of him trying to handcuff him 😡. His daughter watched the whole thing !! They kicked her out of the house 😡 and continued to abuse him !!! He had no idea what was going on and they had his hands tied over his head with handcuffs on him !!! If this is how you treat your patients then there is something horribly wrong !!! What images do you think my niece will have for the rest of her life !! Her father's arms are all cut up from the handcuffs and his body is all bruised from these bad paramedics sitting on top of him trying to get handcuffs on him while he was having seizures. If that's your protocol as you say then protocol needs to be changed!!! You wouldn't treat a rabid dog that bad and you did this to my nephew 😡 you guys should be ashamed of yourselves !!!!
Mike Pasquariello: I was picked up at the scene of my accident and driven EXACTLY 1.0 mile to the hospital with a broken collarbone, all the while receiving no more than a routine BP and concussion check, and was charged almost $2,000! And then the team in the billing department was rude and incompetent and screwed me after promising to not send my balance to collection while I squared away coverage with my insurance company. "The insurance company always pays everything any ways , let's throw s* at the wall and see what sticks!" Damn shysters!
TSERING YOUDEN: They are very reliable source of transportation as compare to other ambulance service company. Thanks for the wonderful service you provide to our communities.
Tom Sawyer: Refused ambulance service still charged 2000$.Disabled Vet now with ruined credit. Thanks Armstrong!
Yoman Drz: Do you like waiting hours past your pickup time? Do you like disheveled EMTs who hate their job? How about Grumpy paramedics upset with doing transfers? Well then give Armstong EMS a call!Ambulances are late just about every day. We get a flurry of excuses from dispatchers; "Busy day"; "Traffic"; "The nearest truck is 75 miles away"; "They're switching crews".Resource management is pretty upsetting. I'm sure they do great 911 work but the transfer side is really lacking.

Cataldo Ambulance Service Training Center: what do users think?
vena chen: I recently signed up for a EMT course at this facility and had some questions about the course schedule. I have called many times and emailed them a dozen of times and have not received an answer. IT is always automatic response and telling me to leave a voice mail. EXCEPT their voice email is always full, and I CAN'T leave a voice mail. This place is very frustrating!
ashraf soliman: thanks

Fallon Ambulance Service: what do users think?
Pablo Fuentes: Disgusting company. Harvard Pilgrim insurance covers up to $850 for an ambulance ride but this greedy company charges $4500 for a short ride and claim they don't take Harvard Pilgrim, even though you don't have a choice when you call 9-1-1. Looks like there's no recourse from companies overcharging the most vulnerable patients.
Joan Hogan: Very untrained and unprofessional. Wheelchair van driver drove erratically and I was ejected from my seat. She speed up on Dudley street and Columbia Road. She screeched on the Brakes, told me can you get up on your own . I replied know as bashed my head twice and was bleeding. She reluctantly helped me up and didn't call for Medical help. Iam 57 years old. I also hurt my back and my adult disabled son witnessed it..
Laraine Michaelson: Transported from Newton -Wellesley Hospital on Wednesday June 16th to a rehab hospital. Before we even left the hospital room one of the two EMT’s had hit the release on the back of the stretcher three times which caused my head to drop. This occurred again while they loaded the stretcher into the ambulance and a fifth time while strapping the stretcher down inside.I was in the hospital for spinal surgery with full rods and screws along with spacers. The quick sharp movements caused me extreme pain and spasms in my back.
Keyre Caceres-zelaya: Kevin and his team took care of me in my time of need and I am forever greatful
Davenport Home: Fallon Ambulance Service has gone above and beyond to support the needs of our facility during the pandemic. The staff is patient, professional and kind. The Office staff is responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend Fallon Ambulance Service!!
Virat Goradia: Worst ever! Charged a bill of $4000 for a 5 mile ambulance service. Wow! Please never ever use their service. Going to fight this!
Luis Blanchard: I have been at Fallon for a while. Great company to work for. EMTs, Medics and CC drivers that actually care.
Steve Tyler: Very compassionate
James Cole: My son needed an ambulance ride while enrolled in college during the 2018 academic year. He was covered by both Blue Cross Blue shield student insurance, and my personal United Healthcare insurance from out of state. Fallon improperly handled the initial claims process and later refused to rebill the insurance companies after the coordination of benefits process was initiated by the two insurance companies (who are fighting over who pays.) Subsequently Fallon sent my son's bill to collections because they are hoping to get paid more out of network than the $500 that BC/BS will ultimately pay and are unwilling to participate in the insurance process. Predatory practices. Slimy to the max, and unhelpful personnel in the billing department. Avoid at all costs.
S Coffey: Will someone please tell me how Fallon ambulance can charge $3500.00 to go 5 miles!?Why is Medicare paying these predatory prices?Maybe the AG can tell me but unfortunately I doubt it.
Robert Reynolds: Shameful billing. My mother was transported 0.7 miles back and forth to South Shore Hospital and they submitted invoices totally over $4700. I wrote to their COO, Patrick "Sean" Tyler requesting an explanation and he ignored me. Let's see if he ignores the Attorney General's Office when they review his billing practices.
Ed Coughlin: The very best in emergency care, all the employees love what they do and their patients, skilled and knowledgeable in all facets of care!
Daniel Scanlon: Great place to work
Kim Bullock: They are awesome! Super professional. I would use them anytime.
Chris Farley: This company will be gone in 2 years max. Junk trucks, employees who look completely unprofessional, morale nonexistent. Their biggest competitor gave them a 13-year headstart and they still managed to tank.
Nambians: Awesome folks work here
Betty Salemme: We needed an ambulance from MGH to Charlestown at 2:30am this morning. The hospital called Fallon Ambulance. Ali and Arron on time and were extremely kind and caring to my mom and I. These two gentleman could not have been nicer. They took a bad situation and made us both feel so much better after being at MGH emergency for eight hours. My mom has paid over $1000 since May on ambulance transportation. From now on when I am asked what service to call, I am going to say Fallon Ambulance because of the service we received. Thank you again,Betty and Pauline..
Tim Davison: Had to transport my son from Newton-Wellesley to MGH for an emergency appendectomy. Ambulance crashed into a tree en route. Just got a bill for a balance after my insurance paid most, and when I called to explain I was frustrated they were even billing me was told "the service was provided." I responded it wasn't provided very well! Now I can't get anyone in billing to return my call but they seem to be capable of producing a collection notice for small dollar amounts.Travel at your own risk and don't expect patient care from their billing service department
Nicole Kellstrand: Awesome company to work for
John Swett: They are great to work for. We save lives
Ashley Davidson: Fallon sucks. One of the paramedics stole my patriots hat that my boyfriend had gotten me when we started dating out of my.l totaled car. And they put the NECK BRACE on wrong and caused me more pain than the actual accident did.
