good job bob: How special is it to stumble upon a carousel while walking through the park. This is one of the surprises we had while visiting Boston Commoms. It looked so majestic, like going back in time to a community fair. Everyone was having so much fun - lots of laughter and squeals of joy from the kids could be heard. A definite place to stop when in Boston.Would appreciate a thumbs up if this was helpful to you :)
Alexandra Grashkina: The people who work at the carousel are extremely rude and they try to charge adults for riding when standing next to their toddler even though that is not the policy. They lie about thr cost of the ticket and never give receipts.

Kevin Glynn: The carousel is a 💰 eater, but it's Central to a bunch of great Boston stuff. Try to sneak by the carousel and hang at the (free) playground or go skating as long as you want to, for a similar price!Unless, that is, you just love carousel...

Nikhil Karkare: So much fun!! Anybody can ride, no age restrictions. We were able to get in without having to wait in line even on a busy holiday long weekend. It is not just any other carousel. The Greenway Carousel is a one-of-a-kind 36 seat carousel with 14 original Characters representing the land, sea and air around Boston. We took our 10 month old for a ride. He loved it!!
Deborah Robinson: Colorful animal shapes. Immaculately clean. Easy to climb onto the animal seats. Carriages for sitting, if you prefer. A delight!
Stephen Priest: I so much want to bring my kids here to take a ride on this carousel! It looks fascinating since it has different types of animals on it instead of the usual horses. It is well lit at night! A fine addition to the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

We usually stay in that area and I look so forward to riding it! I especially love that all the characters are native animals to the northeast part of the country!
