Muckykids Art Studio: what do users think?
Celeste Peterson: My two daughters have been going to Mucky Kids for years and we can't say enough good things about it! Liz, the director, is outstanding and so wonderful with the kids. My girls have had a blast every time they've gone to the classes, and summer camps. They also love the drop-in hours. I've been impressed with the imaginative projects and how well Liz and her staff engage all the kids in the creative process!
Megan Dunnigan: Muckykids is truly one of the most spectacular places to bring you child(ren). Not only is it a space that allows children to explore art, but it allows them to do it at their own pace and comfort level. Liz (the owner) and her staff are AMAZING. At the very least, give the place a try during "drop in" hours. I'm sure you'll find it as wonderful as I do and perhaps enroll your child in a class or celebrate a birthday there! (I have done all of the above!)
Chris Karl: Creative artist at work :-). Various activities for kids.
Kristen Dority: We love this place! My kids can try different medium of art in the span of an hour (impossible at home and not as cost effective), and paint till their hearts content. I love that I can say goodbye to the lovely ladies there and not worry about the clean up. We have been going to Mucky Kids for years and it doesn't feel boring because they switch activities weekly. Both my girl and boy love it here.

Lunder Arts Center: what do users think?
Joel Bader: Amazing experience
Health Enthusiast: It's small. Closed on sundays.I like the art, edgy and modern, in general. You can also see 3 walls of exhibit from the street. Only street parking and it's tight near porter square on red line.
Sativa Unger-Laffin: Beautiful Exhibitions
No-L: Definitely worth the visit
Alexis Tosado: Beautiful
Nelson Pinto: Excellent school, and a beautiful building
Ronald Stevens: I thought there would have been art on display. Not what I had expected. There is no parking.
이영준: "Lee Young Jun PEN AR"Pen Art(General Remarks)Infinity of lines and dots have symbolism.  Such symbolism is ever changing according to the spirit’s depth.  All works are kaleidoscopic; they are usually composed of indescribable expressions.  Therefore, art’s depth also can be said to be unlimited.  Is pen art’s depth also infinite?  In other words, do the lines and dots flowing from the nib of a pen have an artistic qualification?  In this respect, it is worth thinking deeply.  Pen art begins from an essence of nature’s fundamental values.  From the standpoint of value, or color, a harmony of black and white is essential in nature.  As it is impossible to see any color in darkness, distinguishing color is an essential role of light.  That is why the soul is drawn to light.  Whiteness, or light is a spiritual reflection of the soul while blackness, or darkness is a reality of life on earth.  As the color green is an essential color of vegetation, burnt charcoal is an earthy color that will stay near black.  Blackness is heterogeneous and may be hostile to life.  If blackness belongs to the essence of nature, it also may be said to represent the image of death.  A combination of black and white constitutes degrees of lightness and darkness.  When painting black on a white background, the soul is transported to the white background.  Whiteness comes to life when contrasted with black line and black space.  In this case, soul also may be expressed through the blackness.  Soul may be transported to the black or a combination of white and black, which shed a mysterious merit to the soul or spirit.  Pen arts starts and ends from an essence of nature’s fundamental contrasts.  The primary essence is infinite and eternal while the artistic harmony of black and white can take one’s breath away.  But, this is not possible until a metamorphosis has been realized over many years and spiritual transcendence has occurred.  The transfer of spirit  occurs when one’s life experiences are projected onto the white canvas in harmony with blackness.  That is the true ‘pen art.’               Artist Lee Young Junㄷ
Eleni Minias: Beautiful on the inside and the outside
Jimmy Guarnotta: Very nice school, library and art display

Art School 99: what do users think?
Jessica Sample: Great experience, really attentive teacher with a wealth of knowledge to share! She gives individualized attention and helps you explore your own natural artistic instincts. Really recommend you take a class if you get the chance!
Lisa Morris: Alexandra is a wonderful and talented teacher. She has been so encouraging, helping me rediscover my love for art, after being away from it for years. Alexandra’s studio is welcoming and inviting, and I enjoy the diversity of the other students. My weekly class at Art School 99 is my favorite hour of the week.
Brittany Reynard: The atmosphere is non-judgmental and fun. Alexandra is a great teacher who brings out the best in her students.
Joanne Weil: I have been working with Alexandra for over 10 years. I had never drawn or painted when I found Art School 99. She works with me at my pace and always has great recommendations when I get stuck. She will help as much or as little as you like. She is a great teacher. Her knowledge of art history and art can’t be beat. She is able to work with anyone, in any medium and any style.I feel very fortunate to have found her and highly recommend her.
Marina Salganik: II started Alexandra's weekly classes 2 month ago. Alexandra is a very inspiring, knowledgeable and non-judgmental teacher and her studio space is a great place. I enjoy every minute of her class. People in her studio are friendly and fun. I think her classes are suitable for experienced painters as well as for beginners like me. Classes are small (never more than 5 students). You are getting a semi-private lessons. She is great at giving everyone individualized attention, working with you at your skill level.I highly recommend Art School 99 if you're serious about improving your skills as a painter or just to try drawing or painting.
Elizabeth Frazier: I have been going here for awhile now. I am much more confident in painting and look forward to my classes with Alexandra. The atmosphere is relaxed, really helpful and non-judgmental. I would recommend this for anyone beginner or otherwise.
Ashleyandbabies: My husband and I went on a couples day hoping this would be similar to a wine and sip paint night and it was NOT even close. She only let us do one canvas, we had to share even though we paid for two! The orginal painting we were supposed to copy was awful. When we did our painting she gave us no directions at all! The place was dirty and very small. SAVE your money go somewhere else! She also rushed us it was supposed to be a two hour event and she had us in and out in 30 mins. I would give zero stars if possible!
Sarah Berry: I have been going pretty much weekly for 7 months and I have seen improvement in my work. Alexandra is a great teacher and her studio/school space is a great place to spend time. I like her workshops, which are suitable for committed painters and for people who are just having fun. She's great at giving everyone individualized attention and working with you where you are, whatever your skill level. I highly recommend Art School 99 for a fun evening out or if you're serious about improving your skills as a painter.
