Cafe Luna: what do users think?
Scott Kirby (KscottK): Good food & service. Unique menu and reasonable prices. Try the New Orleans style iced coffee!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Michael Adams: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Virginie Meunier: Loved it! Our waitress was the friendliest and I really enjoyed the Mexican Churros French Toasts. :)Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ayana Dahl: If I could rate 0 I would. Cafe Luna’s customer service has to be by far the worst. My party and I called to make reservations prior to showing to the restaurant when we were told there was no reservations on weekends, to come in and the wait should be 15-20 mins(which was fine). We put our name on the waiting list. Several guests that came in after us were called to a table first. The employees operating the front desk were extremely unpleasant and ignorant when addressed.
Sei Kopi: Very good foods for very busy day!! Fresh everything and quick!! I enjoyed everything
Luke McKinnon: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Katerina Savelieva: Excellent breakfast with so many choices! We had Belgian waffles with strawberry and French toast with lemon custard blueberry compote - highly recommend both! Cortado is great too. Will definitely go again when in Boston next time
Dan Peluso: Got the ricotta pancakes and street corn omelette. Went on a weekday morning so service was super quick, don’t have much of a wait horror story like others here do. The omelette was super good, great portion size but you should add a protein. Hash browns are soft and well seasoned but on the softer side. Pancakes were disappointing - fluffy but soggy from the ricotta and lemon mix, and we didn’t get a ton of fruit. I’d come back but probably go for the more unique options / savory
Wendy L: It may not be the easiest place to get reservations but it sure is worth the wait! The service and food are both amazing 10/10
Juan Guzman: I contracted Cafe Luna to cater three events. They exceeded my expectations and were flexible when our plans changed. They even provided catering for an unexpected event with only 2 days notice! The staff at the event were professional and courteous. Would highly recommended Cafe Luna's catering service for any event.
Janete: It was my first time here and It was very busy on a Monday during lunch time! I definitely recommend making reservations. The service was still very fast and friendly. The caramelized banana French toast is definitely a must try! Excited to come here again. They have a great rewards program as well.
Francisco Aguilar: Good food! Awesome service! We were there a week ago today visiting from Chicago! My wife and I were extremely satisfied with everything!
Tuvya Kfir: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Roasted, Blueberry Pancakes, Avocado, Avocado Toast, Kitchen Sink, Breakfast NachosMore
Lenny Euler: If you're willing to wait in line a bit (at least at peak weekend bunch times), great food in large quantities
Daniel Dubovy: There are breakfast places, and then there is Cafe Luna. This is the definition of what a breakfast, brunch place should be like. Not only the freshest ingredients, but sourced from the best places. (How do I know? because I’m nosy lol) Usually when the food is out of this world, the coffee/latte is lackluster. Not at Cafe Luna. Some of the most delicious beans combined with house made syrups create a most authentic small coffee shop kind of latte. All across the world in all of the breakfast places I have been to, Cafe Luna is one of my most favorite. I could write non stop, but I’ll leave you with this. Get the lemon ricotta pancakes, their melt in your mouth biscuits, and the mexican corn.
Sevde Yanmis: Recommended dishes Lobster Eggs Benedict, Blueberry Pancakes, Avocado, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Fresh BerriesMore
Jennifer Steele: The food is so good (and coffee) make a reservation ahead of time!
Shaurya Babukumar: Food is exceptional and staff are friendly. It's a popular place so there's crowd but the tables are right next to each other which makes conversations difficult. My only pain point is the proximity to other tablesFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Tim Asinger: Great menu and server was the bestKid-friendliness: Very crowded and adult crowdFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Lobster Eggs Benedict, Beef Hash, Chicken Wings and Waffles …More
crystal pritchett: I ordered the vegan sushi with sweet potato. It was awful. It had absolutely no seasoning and very little avocado, some pieces none. I'm sure the other dishes are great, but it didn't seem like the chef knew what they were doing in this case.

KO Catering and Pies: what do users think?
Stephen Edwards: Last day of KO pies. Will be missed 😭
Daniel Dadon: Wouldn’t let me order a soda and kicked me out for daring to walk up to the take out desk with my shih tzu while there were no customers around. So rude! They used to allow dogs but apparently “one bit someone”!? Lame
Vincent Prezioso: KO pies are amazing , well worth the one hour wait on their final days . Definitely put lots of ketchup on the beef and cheese .
Nicole BG: Best place for lunch!! Wish it didn't close.
Molly Gross: Love these good ol meat pies
Ruth Benyo: The food was yummy and the staff was nice. However it wasn't too cheap but they gave me a free water because they don't offer tap water.
Troy Fergus: Got a pie and mash to go. Was a little disappointed when the pie and mash were not packages separately but were instead dolloped together. Ofcourse pie was soggy when I got home. Threw it in the microwave long with the gravy and it was still pretty good, sogginess and all.
Esther Jun: Floored!!! Here is my rec: Go visit the ICA, take a ferry to the Watershed (if it's the right season), and grab a pie and hard cider here. Perfect summer experience.
Madelyn: The pies are delicious! We got the lamb, and it was perfectly spiced and very satisfying. The crust itself was the perfect texture and not too greasy. They have their permanent selection of pies as well a rotating special. The corn and rice salad is majority rice.
Ryan Glick: Very great and unique eatery. You must check it out if you're in East Boston. I'd even consider stopping by this area instead of sticking to the normal touristy areas of Boston. Make sure you add ketchup to the meat pies! It may sound odd to some people, but it really goes great with it.
Nathalie: Great food in a cool setting!
Tom Chang: Walked here from Hyatt Regency and was a nice walked. Restaurant is different but cute. Patio was nice. We try the classic beef with cheese and the lamb pie, both was good but a little small. Overall experience is good but not something I will be getting out of my way. If I happen to be near by, for sure will be back.
Tobias Hermann Metzdorf: Solid restaurant good for little lunch … I wasn’t that excited about the pies 🥧
An C.: Great place for savory pies! I had the braised lamb shank, and the crust was light and flaky while the filling, flavorful and delicious. I believe everything is made to order, so all of the pies are served fresh and piping hot.
Julian Pinzer: The pies are delicious. Highly recommend getting a Bundaberg to go with it all
Robert M. (robmak3): Ground beef had surprisingly high quality. Sausage roll was great.
Peter MacDonald: I go here when ever I going diving 3 or 4 times a year. I think it great food.
Micah Boyce: Everyone knows their meat pies are great but don't leave without the potato wedges or sausage rolls.
rskinslaxer7: Delicious authentic Australian. Only place I can find ANZAC cookies outside of Australia
Urvashi B: Amazing australian style pies. These are 5 inch pies which are filled with delicious fillings. They have some classic ones and some fusion ones. We can ordered the curried veggie , the lamb shank, the pie of the month which was indian curried lamb / lamb bhuna which came with aromatic rice and a small helping of raita(minty yogurt). We loved all of them. The pie pastry was flaky and buttery and held together the filling very well. I am just sad I had never been here before and this is their last year before they head back home to australia. Go check this out while it lasts .
Johnny Dance: Like being back home at a finger wharf eating a pie.
