SLAM Volleyball Club: what do users think?
Allison Memmelaar: Very unprofessional! They cancelled my daughters camp last summer and I have been trying to get a refund ever since. I have emailed, called, contacted them on social media, and even tried to stop in. I cannot get a real person to respond to anything. Can't speak to their ability for coaching volleyball but hopefully you never need a refund for something.
En Elle: Fun energy!
James Giguere: Great time as always. Coaches really do a good job for the kids
Dave Graham: Great little club and has two courts side by side. Parking is a bit of a push but there’s plenty if you’re willing to park on the street.
Chris Jordan: Great venue for volleyball, good.place to go for quality coaching.
tessa wilber: amazing experience and very professional
Amit Hegde: They have 2 nice, new courts and the court roof can be opened up in the summer. There are seasonal volleyball clinics and regional as well as local teams for both boys and girls. The coaches are all well-prepared and make volleyball fun to learn. There is some parking on the outside of the building
Sean Sharon: Such a great organization that genuinely cares about the kids, the parents, and the coaches. Teams are always welcoming and try to accept as many kids from tryouts as possible to match them into the right age and skill level. They are partnering with Kwon's next door for involved training, and participate in many New England tournaments.

S3 Boston Social Sports League: what do users think?
r zuniga: I hardly ever write reviews but I think this one warranted it. Can’t say I have had the best experience with this league. Purchased a Groupon for softball league on Saturday’s. Turns out the liSting was wrong and only available Tuesdays/Thursdays. S3 said I had to take it up with Groupon. Go out of my way to change my class schedule around in efforts to participate in the Thursday league but the Groupon code now doesn’t work. I reach out to S3 they advise to reach out to Groupon again. Groupon tells me to reach out to S3. Finally someone from S3 replies stating they are having issues with Groupon. Advised me to provide the Groupon code and will get me signed up.That was over a week ago and counting. Even after following up several times-no response.Would say the customer service and experience here isn’t the greatest. Tried several Boston leagues and BSSC seems to always be the best organized 🤷‍♂️.
Elizabeth Fowler: S3 is the reason I have met most of the friends I have in Boston. The leagues are great, the sponsor bars are always fun, and it is organized well.
Cordae Higgins: I'm so glad I found S3! Not only are the leagues fun, but I've made some great friends, too.
Annie Sommers: I moved as an adult from LA to Boston. I'm pretty outgoing, but it's still difficult to meet quality people as an adult. I joined S3 in 2016 and Boston has felt like my new home ever since. I've made great friendships and even met my fiancee in the league. Couldn't more highly recommend S3 to anyone new to Boston or locals who are looking for something new.
Kyle Jones: S3 is my favorite thing about Boston. Having moved here out of college not knowing anyone in the city, it was my first and only avenue towards meeting people. I've only been a part of S3 for a little over a year, but I've made all of my friends in the city through these leagues. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a social outlet, even if sports aren't your favorite thing. Everyone is super friendly and there's always a great time to be had at the sponsored events. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
Sam G: S3 is a great social league taking part Boston and the surrounding communities. I joined almost three years ago and haven't stopped since. S3 combines sports, in a relaxed yet somewhat competitive environment with a social experience which can be hard to find in a city such as Boston where everything is so fast paced and people struggle to find time to be social. Not only do they run recreational sport leagues, but S3 has a series of events they run including bar crawls, group outings to Red Sox games, Cornhole tournaments and more.S3 take time and care to make sure their events and leagues are well coordinated, and in places that are convenient and welcoming to everyone. I would highly recommend their leagues to anyone; whether you are looking to make new friends, play a new sport, or a sport you've played forever, or just as an excuse to get out of the everyday grind. Jess and the team at S3 do a great job and I look forward to continuing in the league for years to come.
Cailin Shanahan: Making friends when you’re an adult is hard. S3 helps to make it easier. I’ve participated in kickball, softball, and cornhole leagues that have brought awesome people into my life and give me a reason to get out of the house after a long/hectic work week. I would recommend S3 to anyone looking to have fun, meet new people, or anyone who needs an excuse to drink on a weeknight.
Joe Fronk: I've been participating in S3 leagues and events going on my 3rd year now. I've gotten to meet so many people I never would have without this league. What's so cool about it, is the diversity of people you meet. I've met people who I already know will be lifelong friends. The leagues are so much fun and friendly. I can't see myself not being apart of S3. Jess has done an amazing job getting leagues and events together. Making sure shes able to get sponsors and fields for the different leagues. I highly recommend S3 to anyone who's looking to meet new people, try new things, get out of their comfort zone and just simply enjoy life!
Brian Flores: I joined my first year moving to Boston and have always been so grateful that I did. Every league I’ve played with S3 I have come out with at least one new friend. Everyone shows to the field to have some fun (novice competition) and then head to the sponsor bar to have an even better time. 100% recommend joining S3 for at least one league each season. You’ll come out with more friends and stories for a lifetime.
Luis Galvis: No esta ahí
Robert L. White: S3 essentially changed my life when I was in Boston -- and I don't say that lightly. I had very few friends and was having a hard time meeting people, but as soon as I started playing sports with S3, I immediately gained a great community of people to play sports with, hang out with, and generally just share life with! Great people. And highly recommended! :)
Staci Fleisher: When I first moved to Boston, I didn't really know anyone. S3 changed that. I have had so much fun, and I now have a great group of friends. S3 is more than just a sports league. In addition to sports, there are lots of fun activities (e.g., Celtics games. Karaoke. NYE, trivia nights, etc.). Jess, the founder of s3, is awesome! She constantly goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time.
Jon Hayward: S3 offers a wide variety of recreational sports and activities. The league owner and event coordinators expend a lot of effort to ensure their activities are enjoyable and run smoothly - their efforts are really appreciated. The events are a great way to meet like-minded friends while having fun!
Alex Fili: I met all my friends in Boston through s3. They host great events and awesome leagues.
Young P.: Could you use more fun in your life? Could you use more friends in your life? Then S3 is exactly what you're looking for. I can go on and on in detail about how great this league is, but you came here looking for a quick review. Plenty of no-pressure sports to choose from along with great events and an innovative way to meet people. If you hate fun then don't join this league.
Leigh McLaren: S3 has been a great way to step out of my comfort zone and meet people I never would have run into otherwise! summer softball is my favorite and I love that it is just competitive enough that people of all skill levels can play. Definitely glad I joined!
Rachael G: I joined S3 when it was pretty newish. I've had nothing but fun and made some very close friends. I've expanded my circles, got in great shape and remembered what it was like to just be fun. Everyone Ive met has been very nice and great to play any sport with. I e also become a better player and teammate because even though it isn't a highly competitive league, the point is to have fun and make friends so you have to be respectful and play nice!!! Jess is nothing but supportive and friendly and really tries to make it a good experience for everyone. S3 is a great organization.
Jillian Emberg: I've been in S3 leagues for about a year now and have had a wonderful experience! Everyone in the league is friendly and the envents are great, it makes it so easy to meet new people and make new friends!
Thomas B: Upon my return to Boston in January of 2014, I found out about S3 and have been a part of it ever since. The owner, Jess, works extremely hard to make sure everyone has fun.Does she run into challenges from time to time? Sure. But that happens to anyone trying to run events in this city and bar crawls are particularly tricky as bars make mistakes that she has to fix and there are a ton of people on it. She goes above and beyond to make sure that you have a great experience and makes it up to you if something goes wrong. That is why there are close to 100 of us regulars who have become friends and keep coming back to S3 events and leagues. If you haven't tried it yet, swing by for an event or sign up for a league and try it yourself.
Maxwell Espindle: Jess runs this league and she's incredibly good and passionate about making it the best league around. I have personally given her feedback and she has genuinely listened to it even though some of them may have not been realistic. When there is an issue, which isn't often--she responds with urgency and care and takes care of the problem.
Sara Elevons: An amazing league. I've met my closest friends through this league and have discovered a new love of kickball. Jess genuinely cares about everyone and put on fun events.

Mill City Volleyball Club: what do users think?
Sandy S: We had high hopes for joining this team. Unfortunately it is very challenging to join and have a good experience because of the favoritism coaches give to previous players. A player may not play the position for which s/he was assigned to a team, which frustrates the player and doesn’t allow him/her to gain skills in their position. Good facility. Organized at the club level but communication at the team level for us was not good.
Dega Dagama: Greatest volleyball club in New England!
Phil: Facility is absolutely immaculate! Staff shows genuine care, and high level of expertise / professionalism. Highly recommend to anyone seeking to up their level of skill.
Charity Edwards: Great club
Abhijit Deshmukh: When you take lots of individual classes from them you would expect your kids to make the teams. My daughter didn't. So not sure what they were teaching.
Steve Chipp: Owners top notch, and a great facility! very professionally run club program. Been through the New England Club scene and this one tops them all. Great staff and family friendly environment for my daughter.
Romarath Hunt: Good place for my kid to play volleyball
Baba Chico: Great coaching staff team .players also friendly highly recommend
Babu Kandru: Good coaching and competitive club
Mark Driend: Great owner, coaches, facilities. Can’t wait for next season. Doing 1 on 1 training and seeing results.
Stephanie Reuling: My son loves training and playing here! Great staff and facility!
Sydney Lemire: Knowledgeable staff and great facility
Lindsay Bynon: GREAT coaches and GREAT facility (also a super cute basset hound mascot)
Tajh Stokes: Super knowledgeable coaching staff with wonderful facilities. The athletes are well taken care of and learn the game correctly. The coaches focus on fundementals as well as teaching how to play like and be a winner.
Kristen Matthews: Mill City is the best of New England!! Great and helpful coaches who are very passionate about volleyball and love to see their players succeed! I definitely recommend Mill City Volleyball Club.
Kyle Heidler: Mill City Volleyball is the BEST club in all of New England!!! The coaches are dedicated to make you best player you can be and get you ready to play collegiate volleyball.
