James Andrews: I very highly recommend Critter Control of Greater Boston. These guys are the experts on taking care of any and all rodent or pest issues in your home. We found an issue in our attic with flying squirrels who had entered in our attic and decided to make residency rent free there. We called CCGB and the following day Howard showed up and within 30 minutes identified the specific type of animal in our attic, climbed up on the roof to see where they were coming in from, presented us with a game plan on how to forever rid our home of all rodents and pests, and gave us a very reasonable quote with a 2 year warranty of service. A day or so later Howard and his team showed up on time to plug up and seal every possible place any critter could enter and set down traps in the attic. He returned a few days later and boom all the creatures were caught. He even stopped by again a few days later to recheck more traps to ensure everything was gone which ended up being the case. Howard also cleaned up some dirty insulation. He went above and beyond to fix our issue. Wow!! What a great company CCGB is and a big thank you to Howard for taking care of business. Stephen Farrell: For too long I have wanted to share my experience w CCGB. We had a visitor in our attic. CCGB came and resolved the issue. Then the roof leaked. CCGB returned and, when not seeing anything, recommended we call a roofer. We did, and they thought the roof was fine. It rained again, and Dan himself came immediately. He had his team fix the leak within an hour - though we're still not certain that it was caused by CCGB. My only complaint is that CCGB doesn't do plumbing, carpentry, electrical or painting. Err Tay: From our first phone call to an inspection by Adam, we found Critter Control to be a professional, courteous organization. Adam showed up at the arranged time and performed a thorough inspection of our home. We had critters in over our bedroom ceiling last winter and Adam was able to discern that it was squirrels. He informed us that squirrels usually are seasonal and leave once warm weather comes. We now know what we are dealing with and can take the appropriate steps to fix the problem. Adam is a warm, friendly professional who knows what he's doing. We will definitely call Critter Control again if needed in the future.

I was out of town and my tenant called to tell me. She was very upset! I got in touch with James @ Best Pest and he asked that my tenant bring to his shop a sample of one of the dead ants. My tenant did exactly this. After an examination of the ant, they turned out to be innocent "citronella ants". James said they would be gone by the end of the day, and they were! They were not bad people just never helped the root problem, kept cashing my monthly check though. I paid them monthly for a year and half, maybe two years. When the rats found their way into my house, that was it. I called a competitor and had the house mitigated of any potential entry points, was a one time fee and my issue was gone. The neighborhood still had rats but none were on my property

Laura Gazza: I called Best today about a Yellow Jacket nest under my front door. They were very friendly and put me on the schedule for this Friday. Low and behold, as son as I hung up, the bees were entering my basement. I have two little kids who were scared to death. I called back and asked if there was any way they could come out today. Sure enough, the owner called right back and within 20 minutes a very kind and calm employee came to my home to treat the nest! He listened to my sons fears and put them to rest with his explanation of the process. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Chris Deveney: This is the worst company ever. Had bedbugs for six years because they must have been paid to come in my home and say they saw no evidence of infestation. Even went so far to say I had body lice. Every 3 mos I would get infested again. Finally the Health Dept ordered my landlord to open the connecting apartment and the place was filthy and loaded with bugs. They even told me that bedbugs don't travel from apt. to apt. I should have suid this company for the anguish they put me through. Stay away from this company! Incompetent workers who don't know their ass from their elbow.

I have used Best Pest Control twice in last 4 years for mice issues at two properties. They were responsive and responsible and more affordable than the first company I called. Lisa Hogan: Worst company ever to do what you did to an employee. It is called wrongful termination. It was a he said issue and just because he's been there 5 years you take his word over another employee, no proof on what that person was telling you that my son stole a magazine. Mind you he has plenty of money. Plus he waits a week to tell you what happened and you expect somebody to have a cash receipt for a week in their pocket. My son came to his interview on the day and a few hours before he just had give CPR to his grandmother and they pronounced her dead. He was so excited, happy, loved this job espically after lossing not one, but two grandmothers in 2 weeks and his aunt. This was something to help him foucus, and help him move on. How dare terminate over someone else word, what kind of boss are you. You could have gave a written warning, verbal warning but no you just terminated. Never ever would I want my son, father, friend or anyone to work for a company like this. You are horriable for what you just did. No compasstion, no good reason, no proof, no nothing. If all of these companies took the word of another employee there would be so many law suits and no one would have a job. For instance, if I hate or I am jealous of one of my employees I want to get her fired I am going to tell my boss she stole money, even though I know it is not true, but just because I know the company listens to every word other employee's say she will be fired. How freaking stupid does that sound????AWFUL JUST AWFUL

They came in my home and didn't find anything until a city inspector confronted them and then they found evidence in all units. decided to come treat the problem unit when "they wanted to". hello there: Truly outstanding! We were having a mouse problem and had done everything else possible including repointing or basement and getting rim joists insulated. But we still had at least one mouse making its home with us. We dealt with both Jon and John [two different guys] and both were terrific. It was like Sherlock Holmes meets the mouse and they uncovered every possibility for where that mouse could be coming in and out of. Very friendly, very honest, very reasonable price wise. The product is toxic to humans when wet, and thank god my daughter hadn’t moved here yet, but my dogs were likely exposed as I was.Not only was this company severely negligent, they apparently sprayed a “green” product outside, which did literally nothing to stop bugs from assaulting our house and yard.Do not use this company if you care about your health or the health of your family.
