Bonny's Garden Center: what do users think?
Steve Harris: Cash or check only; no credit cards.
Craig Terlino: Cambridge's oldest nursery family owned. Fully stocked with all personal and commercial needs for gardening. A great spot for Christmas trees. Closes in winter after Christmas.
Jennifer Wipf: Came for Christmas stuff. Prices not well marked. Staff not available. It was pouring and we basically had to tie the tree up ourselves while children cried in the car. Awesome experience (sarcasm).
Tobias Herrmann: Fantastic flowers for a fantastic price. So much better variety and quality than any Home Depot or Lowes in the Boston area. Love that store. Please go here for all your flower needs. But bring cash or check, no credit cards.
Erik Williams: A local gem. Better service, selection and prices than the big box stores. Feels good to support this local business. Thanks for the exceptional service, Sal!
Asdf Jkl: they had the goldflame honeysuckle plant I was looking for
Rick Nelson: Nice garden center. We were there this time of year for a 🎄.
Mary Demelo: Bonny’s has the best customer service ever. Support local business and stop by, you will never go anywhere else. They always helped me find what I was looking for, helped me with great suggestions for my garden and every single time I stopped by I felt welcome.
Ale A: Excelente! Muchas opciones de árboles de navidad, los chicos muy amables.
Brett Mason: Great service, great plant stock. Wonderfully small family business. Serving both general pubic and gardening services in the Cambridge area.
Christy Dennison: Sweet family-owned business. The two brothers are so happy to help you find what you need and are incredibly nice in addition to knowledgeable from their years of experience. You will never get such great service from a hardware store. Good organic options. They are the only garden center that has catnip plants! I will not go to another garden center again. 😊
Cindy Ballo: Small lot with great plants service and prices. A true hidden gem. Bring cash or checks!
Colleen Barry: These guys have always been wonderful — very kind and helpful and super reasonably priced.
Stephanie Gullo: Great place!
Mary Ellen Fountaine: They don't take credit cards, cash or check onlyThe selection was amazing.the wildlife gathering there amazing.
matthew clark: The best place in Cambridge for outdoor plants & garden needs
zweli Miller: Outstanding selection of plants, great soils and fertilizers, great knowledge, local family business. Going to Bonny’s is taking a short path to gardening success. But be respectful because these dudes are Cantabrigians
Richard Thomas: Wide variety of choices, great prices and very helpful staff.
Syrah M: It is a fantastic garden center. The plants look so healthy & the owner is so helpful.Be prepared! They don’t except cards. Only cash or check
Caterina Strambio De Castillia: I love this place. People are nice, no frills and very competent. Highly recommended
Hillary Perkins: They've got a great selection of stuff and helpful staff. Wasn't planning on buying anything and ended up walking away with a couple really pretty flowering plants and a strawberry plant. Just a heads-up though, they only take cash or check, but they're super cool about you paying them later if you don't have enough cash on you or your checkbook.

Bonsai West: what do users think?
Rachel Pookles: This is one of the most beautiful places to walk through even if you aren't necessarily looking for a bonsai. Their bonsai's are breathtaking, you may not be able to leave without one. The staff here is incredible as well. Emmy helped me repot my bonsai when I was worried I had done it wrong. They're so kind and helpful I wasn't worried about bringing it back to ask for help! If I could give this place higher than 5 stars I honestly would. Chef's kiss.
Alex Manoogian: A world class bonsai nursery with amazing trees and amazing people. This is a great place to come visit and just walk around, whether you are buying a bonsai or not.
Susan Houghton: Took two beginner classes, both were awesome. The instruction and instructors were wonderful. Step by step we created our “trees”, with gentle guidance from the experts. I will definitely take more classes and bring my friends along.
sam blake: Amazing place with beautiful bonsais and very helpful people!
Joe T: Such a beautiful bonsai garden. It's one of the best in the country!
William Papura: So much to see. Beautiful grounds, impressive display trees, and a wide selection of reasonably priced specimens.
Stephen Moore: Always nice, friendly, knowledgeable people and beautiful bonsai to look at.
Chris Pierce: A beautiful spot to stroll and appreciate living art. Some of the trees are more than two centuries old and are a sight to behold. They carry a range of trees, including evergreens and tropicals, and while the majority of their costs will leave you reeling, they do offer inexpensive solutions for novices, such as soil and pots.
Michael Kiely: Almost like visiting a botanical garden, but smaller local and free admission! Looking forward to signing up for a class with my wife. They had an amazing collection of quality bonsai and the staff are very friendly.
Scott M: Great place to visit. An amazing collection of Bonsai plants for sale and on display.
Jonathan Algeo: My partner and I just took the Juniper introductory class with Joe and Michael (the owner), and had an absolute blast. I'm so happy with and excited to begin caring for my tree, and the love that the staff at Bonsai West have for the craft is apparent and infectious. For three hours of close instruction and a tree to take home, the price is extremely reasonable as well. The classes, as I write this, are all full so give a call and get on the waiting list if that's still true whenever you read this! What a delightful date 😁
rishi lad: Beautiful bonsai. Very well maintained place. Incredible work!!! 🌳
Joe Murray: Amazing
Pauline Reid: Love the place an the selection was great
Joe Hamilburg: Very knowledgeable, nice people. And the bonsai selection is terrific.
Jerry Fleenor: Great place tons of Bonsai to look at and plenty helpful staff!
Alexander Gaetz: Beautiful place. The employees are beyond nice and helpful. The tree selection is great.
J G: So many Bonsai options. The perfect place to get supplies and inspiration.
Dylan Charles: This is the second time we've been here and, just as before, the staff was very helpful and took the time to answer our questions. They are a great resource for those looking to get into this hobby.
Senor Martinez: Excellent trees and service. Worth checking out
Jordan Vigneaux: Great deals on pots

Mahoney's Garden Center: what do users think?
Ssesanga Yas: Love this place
Duke Briscoe: Helpful staff, wide range of products at good prices. Good for Christmas trees at Winchester location.
Christopher Copelas: Great selection of anything you could possibly think of!!!Great plants and so healthy. The people here are so helpful!!!
Curt Raffi: Mahoney's offers an incredibly large selection of plants and garden supplies. If you're looking for something unusual they will probably have it. Just be aware that they are not priced like Home Depot or Lowe's. They offer high quality plants but are also very expensive.
Yanxu Zhou: Love love love this place and everyone meet up with Abby! cute little girl
nikita srinivasan: Such a great selection of plants, reasonable and extensive collection
Jarvis Chen: Beautiful and VAST selection of flowers, plants, seeds, pots, vegetables. It's an incredibly large and clean garden center. One of the best in the area
Stella CC: I bought really lots of plants from here. Bought an Albo epipremnum early this year, really love the plants but found out it has so many mealy bugs. Turn out to be my nightmare 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
Caroline DeBrota: Expensive, but I'll be damned if they don't have every single variety of every single plant you've ever seen, and many more that you've never seen before
Bethany Krevat: Love doing all of our plant and garden shopping at Mahoney’s! They always have an awesome selection.
BHAMA: What a place! I really loves it.
Steven Laliberte: Great experience
Jon Splaine: Beautiful Selection!
Laurel Mulligan: Great customer service and amazing selection. The plants always look so healthy and well cared for. I love going here, even if it's just to take a stroll.
SLI: Paid over $400 to have a half cord of supposedly kiln-dried hardwood delivered from their Winchester location. Attempted to use it in the same wood stove we've used for 15 years, where we've burned everything from locally-gathered wood, to purchased seasoned wood, to kiln dried wood. This wood is among the worst we've ever tried to burn. It's clearly not dry, let alone kiln-dried. We've had it covered outdoors since it was delivered. Even after storing it in the house for three days, it lights, then nearly goes out, makes the familiar hissing sound that insufficiently dry wood makes, and then more or less turns to charcoal, if it doesn't just go out altogether. Since this stuff is using up our available wood storage space, we can't even have another place deliver some properly kiln-dried wood to supplement it, so we're now looking at a winter without being able to use the wood stove.
Nancy Pierce: They have wonderful flowers
Kristina Jacobs: Terrible customer service. Got yelled and screamed at by a worker (older white man with white hair and beard) as I was trying to reverse a dump truck to pick up my order of bales of hay. Extremely impatient and condescending. Will not be doing business here again.
Catherine Rowden: I worked with Rachel Abbott for my daughter's wedding flowers. She was amazing to work with and the flowers were exceptional. I have always shopped at Mahoneys for my nursery needs but did not realize they did wedding flowers. People were stopping us to take pictures of the flowers. Cost was very reasonable. Would highly recommend using them for any floral decor.
Steve Durst: Farm stand items are expensive. Would be cheaper and better quality to but at Whole Foods, less than a mile away
Stephen Linder: Nice place. I get my tomato seedlings here every year.
RM Cerv: Mahoney's Garden Center is one of the premier spots in Massachusetts for plants. They have a huge property and greenhouses. They have a large selection of most plants that grow well in New England. They also have knowledgeable staff who can guide you in your selection of plants depending on the sun/shade considerations.

niche: what do users think?
Maggie Hsieh: Love this store. Super cute with friendly staffs. However, they are all overpriced.
Kimberly Baling: I love this plant store. Super cute, well stocked and healthy plants. The owner was very kind and knowledgeable and very helpful.
J H: Really nice selection for plants for a tiny shop. I got a few little babies, and they gave out plant care cards per plant as well. Staff were pleasant. However, the shop is infested with fungus gnats (gnats lay eggs in the plants, larvae eat the roots and destroy plants. Can be treated, but then you bring them into your home. They look like fruitflies). Pots are pretty pricey as well in comparison to other small plant shops I've visited. Plants are also more than I'd like to spend but I don't have such variety at home out of state.
Wei: Smaller than the other location but has a nice collection of plants. You can find cheaper plants in other plant nurseries but this one is the closest to my home. Staff are friendly and willing to share plant care knowledge.
Felix Yang (Flxzy): A small little gem of a plant shop and the shopkeeper there was really nice and answered any questions I had.
Magenta Jasinski: Small space but large selection! A lot of unique plants I’ve never seen in a store before.
Elsa Nerea: I love it
Jamie Poirier: Truly lovely!! The girl working was super helpful and made great recommendations. The plant was very healthy when I bought it and still is.
Elsa Sandvik: Great selection of high quality plants! I got a Hoya crimson queen, 2 cacti, a lemon button fern, string of hearts and a caput Medusae (airplant). They all seem happy, and I did not see any pest infestations!
Christopher West: Good customer service. Expensive prices
Jack Moldave: What a wonderful store. And Adam was sooo nice and helpful. I love his energy and excitement when it comes to plants.
Sheilah Belin-Jones: I'm giving two stars due to the fact that I was in the store on 3/11/21, I had around $300 worth of plants to purchase on my lunch break and the janky card reader wouldn't allow Google, Samsung, or Apple Pay. With the area and cost of these plants...about 6 of them. The owner should upgrade and help her customers with new aged technology. Now I have to go to the ATM, to walk back over to Tremont street, to help small local businesses. This business needs to help itself and upgrade it's cash out system. I'm not walking back to Tremont street....sorry Niche....
Ian Hersmdolf-Placido: Amazing & knowledgeable staff! Great selection of plants at reasonable prices!
pimlak kuma: Love the place! There are 4$miniatures as well
Alex Crawford: Really cool shop, the staff are super friendly and helpful - they'll hook you up with an awesome plant!
Erin Caldwell: Great little urban plant store with a nice variety and easy online ordering with curbside pickup. Love the little care cards that come with each plant.
Nikia Powers: Super cute spot. Got this cute lil plant and info card. I liked that.
Emily B: The staff was so friendly and nice & the shop was absolutely beautiful!!! Definitely recommend checking it out. For a garden plant shop it is a bit on the pricey side but they’re willing to help their customers with any plant problems and repotting issues!
Tyler Nay: Great plant selection. Knowledgeable staff.
Will S: Really nice store with great people. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Hanne Richardson: I've purchased several plants here (succulents, sansevieria, pepperomia, and a prayer plant) and they are always good quality! The staff are helpful and the plants are labeled with care instructions. Prices can be a little steep, but they sometimes have plants that are hard to find in other stores!
