Abhinav Ramani: Great bridge to walk across on a sunrise or sunset. Really lovely during the spring, fall, and cool summer days. Perfect for people watching or seeing the Harvard crew teams practice. Walked across the bridge daily for two years and really enjoyed the views and serenity.

David Murguia: Historic bridge. If you’re wondering what the “smoots” are. It’s an MIT tradition. Back in the day a fraternity as a joke measured the bridge by having one of their members lay down and use him as a unit of measurement. His last name was Smoot. So now every year or so the fraternity re paints the smoots. Beautiful views and entry way into mit.

ChenWei Lin (阿暈): I used to be a Dragon Boat Racing player for five years. Therefore, watching people rowing on the Charles River is a show for me. This river is sparkling under the sunshine. 過去划龍舟5、6年了，對於波士頓知名的輕艇當然要多看幾眼，心想著如果我早一週來到美國或許就可以參加選手徵選，在查爾斯活比一場海外龍舟，不過沒關係，在河面被夕陽染成金黃色時欣賞大小帆船、鴨子船、輕艇也是很過癮的。
Wei Hsu: You can clearly see the view of downtown Boston and Cambridge campus through this bridge. Lots of people are jogging on this bridge and I think this bridge is definitely safe for pedestrians! Sometimes you can see someone is rowing the boats on the river. In spring, Cherry blossom a lot!

Helen Lindsay: There are bike lanes on this bridge so it is an easy place to cross by bike or on foot. It does get pretty windy so be prepared for that especially when it is cold. The view of Boston from the bridge is amazing and worth pausing on your walk. There is also a pedestrian walkway down to the Charles River Esplanade on the Boston side
