Tibets Jinten, ( Meditation Supply): what do users think?
Jenny B: Good vibes alwaysThe owner is incredibly kind and helpful. I always find something unique to bring home every time I visit (especially beautiful jewelry pieces)!
Nate “Zimmerlator” Z man: Amazing! Real tibetan items. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful experience!
Lynette Cole: I had the most wonderful experience here yesterday, purchasing a few beautiful items for my school, and having a lovely chat with Tsering ✨️ I'm not joking when I say I walked out of Tibets Jinten feeling restored, balanced and with a profound sense of peace! What a beautiful store. Will absolutely be back.
Katlyn Salvador: Had a wonderful time visiting the shop. Tsering was incredibly kind and informative. He helped me pick out the perfect singing bowl and walked me through all of the different options and how to use them. I also purchased some incense, a pair of cute/comfy pants (i can wear to work and around the house), a beautiful scarf, and some citronella oil. Highly recommend this shop!
Mark Sheldon: Very friendly and helpful!
Tyler Motes: I’ve been going here since I moved to Cambridge in 2017. It’s always such a great experience and the owner is such a nice guy! The store is stocked with awesome finds that they travel abroad to bring back. Definitely visit if you like these types of shops, I highly doubt you’ll be disappointed!
Natalie Page: I stopped into this shop after wanting to visit for a while. I had wanted purchase a singing bowl for some time now and I love supporting small businesses. Tsering is so knowledgeable and kind and sat down with me playing all of the bowls in the shop, showing extreme patience with me as I had no idea how to choose the right one and was very indecisive. He made the entire visit so much fun and provided so much helpful information. If you stop in you MUST ask about the chakra alignment, it was one of the most relaxing and grounding experiences of my life and afterwards you will feel lighter than a feather. 11/10 would recommend checking out this shop. I will be a regular patron of his from now on!
Oyun-Erdene Altan-Ochir: So kind service
Brooke Bailey: Amazing selection of textiles- real silk, wool, and cashmere for great prices. A magical place for gifts.
Emma Lewis: Di store yak po shida re, nga gapo yo. Mala mambo yo. Tuk je ze!This store is great, I like it. They have a lot of mala. Thank you!
Beth Redmond Walsh: I walked into this store one day and found it packed floor to ceiling with all kinds of colorful, gorgeous clothing for all ages, men and women, plus Buddhist gongs, and other instruments, jewelry, prayer beads, rugs, household goods, Tibetan Buddhist statues, artwork, music CDs etc. It is truly an amazing collection. Tsering very kindly even gave me a demonstration of some of the gongs and how they can be used as tools for relaxation. You can shop this store online of course but its so worth a trip to actually be in the store itself surrounded by all the beauty within!
Dennis Porto: Wonderful shop. Tsering is very knowledgable and willing to take time to teach you. I purchased an antique Tibetan lingam singing bowl. Very grateful!
Dawn Atkins: This is a wonderful spot in Cambridge. Well with a drop-in!
Sharin Horvitz-Chung: Just purchased a beautiful singing bowl here. The owner took his time showing us the different bowls, which was helpful because I wanted to try different bowls to compare the sounds. He also demonstrated massage using bowls with me and my companion. I felt much more relaxed when I walked out of the store! He included a few extras in the purchase as well. I’m a music therapist and excited to add this bowl to my personal meditation practice and therapeutic toolbox. Wonderful shopping experience, thank you Tsering.
Kelly Folwell: Best store i’ve ever been to, owner gave me an item for free that i had fully intended on paying for. literally nicest guy i’ve ever met
Lionel Wilson: Amazing, simply amazing
michael simon: I really love this place!!! The owner is a very kind and generous person and the shop is filled with unique items from eastern cultures/religions including: pendants, statues, singing bowls, incense, earrings, clothing and more....You MUST ASK about the CHAKRA Massage; the owner performs this when asked and its cost is DONATION. You sit on a stool and he uses a singing bowl to vibrate your spine. It is like nothing you've ever experienced.
Adriane Longo: I bought a singing bowls this place, I really appreciated how much is helpful and kind the owner. I really enjoyed my time this store. And my bowl is amazing. Thank you for have this special time with.

Cambridge Insight Meditation Center: what do users think?
Barbara Saltzstein: The MBSR class, 24 plus hours, is good for content, but absolutelylacking in any group experience, therefore, barely meaningful. After all these hours in a 10 person class, I know not the names nor interest of my fellow participants. There is no group sharing.Really? And the instructor ask is greater and greater.
Andreeyoga Namaste: I give 5 stars to my teacher, Larry Rosenberg, of many years. But I gives only 3 stars for how CIMC has changed.Looking at the list of programs, it’s like watching the politics of the day.Groups are segregated by race, gender and gender identity.Very hard to feel that such an approach is beneficial for all meditators connecting regardless of what they look like.
Steven Sklivas: A jewel of mindfulness in Cambridge.
Laurentiu Craciun: Amazing place to meditate
Judith Prebluda: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI have been studying and retreating at CIMC for over 20 years. The quality of clear instruction and compassionate responsiveness is outstanding and life changing. A jewel in the heart of Cambridge.
Adeline Sire: Beautiful center, welcoming people, excellent classes.
Ornoth Liscomb: A precious and authentic urban meditation center in the vipassana/insight meditation tradition. One-time sessions, recurring workshops, and meditation retreats for the full spectrum of practitioners, from beginners to longtime meditators. Especially valuable are the Wednesday evening dhamma talks, which feature a diverse set of recognized community leaders and monastics from varying traditions. A rare and precious gem of a resource for contemplative development.
Allen Perez: Teaches to go empty.
cheri ruane: Beautiful space with a wonderful community of practictioners. Excellent for beginners like me.
FREEANA: This place has a history of wounding and damaging people and tossing them out without a grievance system in place. It is an ego driven and rigid environment where the hierarchy between teachers and students is very obvious. They are a soft power cult from what I’ve learned. They don’t care about the individual in my experience and from what I’ve heard from others. Their one size fits all mentality is ridiculous for this century. Look up Lorin Roche and Camille Maurine Roche. They know how to encourage freedom and exploration within each unique person. We are not all the same! These people will trample all over your inner world if you let them. They do not have good boundaries.
Cliff Reeves: Beautiful building, relaxing environment.
Kyle Kaplan: Great place for a quiet sit, lovely community
Peter Kusinski: This is a great spot for all levels of practice. Very beginner friendly and a wide variety of teachers at they're Wednesday night Dharma talks. Many different groups meet regularly and they offer 1 day workshops most weekends.
John Robison: Larry Rosenberg is the man! Keep up the great work, Larry & Co!
Brian Bunnell: GREAT FACILITY for meditation or mindful socializing. Beautiful place!
doug g: This is a wonderful place to learn and practice meditation. Larry and Narayan, the guiding teachers, are among the great Western meditation masters. The center offers lots of classes, workshops and retreats at both beginner and intermediate levels. All in all a real gem.
Tom Horan: Great people, courses, meditation areas, retreats and a comprehensive library. It's a treasure for anyone who is serious about meditation.World-classes lecturers, teachers, and monks visit regularly to give dhamma talks and the center hosts a variety of retreats which cater to those at all stages of practice.
Mikhail M. Nitko: Amazing, kind place and people.
Thị Tân Mùi Nguyễn: The people in here are very nice and friendly. There are so many projects that you can join in to practice meditation and find out more about mindfulness. They have the activities for kids call "little Buddha" that is awesome!!! Highly recommend for this place!
Osvaldo Matos: Meditation and Dharma talk on Wednesdays at 6:30
Molly Roderick: I had an amazing life changing experience here. My teacher's name was Maddy. Her humor made the class easy to sit through. And I am now practicing meditating daily. It has opened my mind and brightened my soul. I am happier and at ease with my life. You should take a class with her! I highly recommend it!

Steven (Steven909): I purchased a purple wool shawl from here in the fall of 2022, absolutely love it. I love it so much I'm seriously considering traveling to here again from out of state to get another. I can't find any others like it online. I really wished they had them on their website so I could order online or something. But oh well. The shawls are visible outside their storefront on google maps at least. Vouch.

The owners are special people that embrace all spiritual practices. I'm grateful to say they have become friends since I visit there frequently. MUST SEE. THE ENERGY IS PURE LOVE.

Tijen Najarian: The most beautiful original pieces. Been coming here for years, great customer service.
GoddessHealingGoods Tarot & Healing: One of my favorite stores in Salem! I go there every time I take a trip there. Have bought beautiful jewelry from them. A deity necklace, and two amazing bracelets. A must visit!
Valentina V: This store has consistently been a favorite of mine since moving to Salem. I will gladly go to downtown just to come in when they're open. I plan my whole week around the days I can /want to go. The energy is incredible, the workers even more incredible, and the items have such beautiful energy. This store is the gem of Salem and if you've never gone, you're doing yourself a disservice. When the day comes that I move, I would gladly order online for life if I cannot make it in person. This store is forever worth the trip.
os: This store is the most amazing one in SALEM MA!! A must visit and beautiful collection of all items. The energy is super great and I love it! Totally worth spending 💕🙌🏼 HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!
