ClicketySplit: For a major transportation hub in an important city like Cambridge this station is really scuzzy. The station is long overdue for an update as it is very grimy and dingy and just overall dirty and disgusting. The restrooms should be condemned by the city as they are filthy and disgusting. An hour after using the men's room for just a couple minutes and the stench is still with me!! The parking garage is constantly undergoing renovations making it a challenge to navigate and find a suitable parking space at times. In comparison to other ivy league towns like Princeton, which is immaculate, this one can be likened to the Rand Transportation Center in Camden New Jersey which is basically a homeless shelter.

Zach Carter: This is my favorite place to start my trips into Boston. Parking at Alewife is super cheap, and as a terminus station, you get first claim on seats in the cars on the Red Line. Yeah, the trip into Boston (say, to Park St.) is a little long, but it's well worth it.
