Light wins over Darkness: I went to this church approximately 12 to 13 years ago. I like this church. I moved away. And now I'm back, somewhat in the area. Haven't been there since I've been back. With all the changes. I couldn't tell you what it's like today. But I do know, I really liked this church and it was accurate back then. I am considering visiting it and possibly going there again. It's more than an hour from my house. If it hasn't changed. I'll be continuing going there. It is very important to me. Whatever church I go to. Teaches what The Bible says. Not personal opinions or false doctrine. I studied in depth the full Bible. As should you. So we are not fooled by any one.

It's non-denominational and everyone there is beyond loving and receiving. Pastor Ed is a great teacher and the worship is beautiful. They have many different groups and Bible studies. They offer daycare and Sunday School. Gender specific groups for men and women and children's activities. Why go anywhere else? I love this place and I need to get back there ASAP!

Subsequent visits confirmed this is the real deal where loving people in various stages of spiritual growth have grace for each other, encouraging each other along the way. My family has attended for almost three years now. Solid teaching with the biblical balance of the grace offered to us by Christ and the sobering reality that God is a righteous judge and our need for a Savior. People are loved and accepted here right where they are. Welcoming, consistently friendly environment. Holy Spirit is welcomed. Jesus is the center of all instruction. Children are loved and have value here. Grace and humility trickle down from the "top" of staff and leadership, evident in all levels of leadership, including Sunday School teachers and youth group staff. I didnt know what i was searching for, but when i finally found them it all came into perspective. I love how they do one book; one chapter; at a time. They way it was written! Associate Pastors are Scott Mitchell, Scott Greenberg, Gary Stewart, Kevin Hanlon and Frank Burke. All have distinct teaching styles with one common thread, that thread coming from the Bible, our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.Service on Sunday is at 10am, Sunday school for the children is held in the school rooms while the sanctuary is for adults and children in the 5th grade and above.Wednesday night service is at 7pm in the sanctuary with Awana program for the children in the school rooms.Worship through music and singing starts each service.We also have a school, Calvary Chapel Academy, which has grades 1 - 12. Wonderful worship team and teachings from the Word of God - easy to understand with well illustrated examples.We're a big family and everyone is welcome to be a part of it since day one.They have an academy and Sunday school is well organized by grades Pre-K on... There's also a nursery and a room for nursing moms.Love it! Come visit us!If you miss service, you can get a cd with the teaching of that day later. 😊
