Charles River Canoe and Kayak: Cambridge, Kendall Square: what do users think?
Reyhan U: not a tourist trap. bit pricey but def worth it. views from the charles river is amazing.
Euro Leon: Great service and fun place to go with friends
Laura von D: I hope the kayak boat could be more clean….and hope they empty the water in the boat after each use….
Christian Roman: Kayaking is about is good as kayaking gets once you leave behind the most rude staff even by Boston standards. There’s nothing like having employees openly talk bad about you and be condescending. If I could leave negative stars I would, do yourself a favor and don’t go here, listen to the other negative reviews
Cassidy Burk: My fiancé and I rented a tandem kayak through the team at Paddle Boston this past weekend and had a great time! The check in process was very straightforward and only required us to watch a short video regarding safety and rules before signing a waiver and getting out on the river! The views were incredible and the experience felt very safe. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun way to see the city skyline from a new angle!
goutham shetty: I suggest you buy the Annual membership. It’s totally worth it.
Mark: It was nice experience. Expensive, but nice
annmarie nagelin: It was a great day on the river. It was an extremely hot day, but there were plenty of kayaks available. The people working were efficient and kept the line moving.
Kim Fournier: Love it! Was there the last 2 weekends. Easy process. Reasonable price. Paddling the Charles is breathtaking. Free on street parking on Sundays.
John F: Wonderful Kayak rental. The area is beautiful, and the staff are very helpful. My friend left her keys in our kayak, and they were able to find them for her. I hope to go again soon
Belle T: We were super lucky to have Lori as our Sunset & City Light Tour trip. She guided us well and informed us interesting information about Boston. In addition, the sunset 🌅 was SPECTACULAR!!! It was a great trip for both me and my friend who just moved to Boston!**Do note that even though this is a 1.5-2hr trip, you are paddling to get moving! So, it’s a good intro and workout for out-of-shape people like us!
Andrew Nagelin: Great location on the Broad canal.Plenty of kayaks and they were busy on a hot Saturday afternoon
James Galinas: The kayak experience itself is great & the price is affordable. My 1 star review is simply about the customer service. My parents are in their early 70's and were in town and wanted to challenge themselves to kayak the Charles (admirable!). Needless to say, with their age, it was not easy for them to get in and out of the kayaks with bad hips/legs/etc.My mother was having trouble getting out of the kayak and ended up rolling out of it onto the deck when one of the workers quipped - "we call that the beached whale technique" and started laughing at her expense.About as inexcusable as you can get.
AJ 1776: Had an amazing day here. Well run with helpful staff.
Sierra Bravo: Perfecto para pasar el día, el precio por el Kayak es adecuado.A veces suelen hacer descuentos
Himalaya Kilaru: I have been here a few times . The view is amazing . Staff is friendly . Would be visiting again for sure .
g zeynep: Rude staff
shriti jaiswal: We doubted if we would get any rentals since it was walk in. Plenty of rentals available. Neat and well maintained equipment and staff. We could quickly get on with our kayaking. The kayak was stable and good quality. Had a lot of fun. The view during the kayak was incredible. You can see most of the Boston skyline.
Nate Cole: I've been here a couple of times before and there hasn't been any problems but their service has been consistently degrading every single time. The workers are not very helpful, rude and seem untrained to do basic tasks. The check-in process is long and they do not do a good job of explaining things to beginners (I had several of my friends who never kayaked but were shocked at how unfriendly the staff was). If you're reading this, there are better places in Boston that will charge you less and treat you better, go there!
L Zsolnay: Absolutely beautiful thing to do after work while the sun is setting. We had a great guide. Very special.
Hank Cooper: A really nice kayaking experience. Prices are ok. The check in process is a bit confusing at first but straight forward afterwards.

Paddleboston : Blessing of the Bay, Somerville: what do users think?
Robin Yukiko: Great experience! My kids and I were able to have a unique little adventure on the water. We got to see swans, herons, geese, and other birds. The staff was friendly, safety oriented, and able to answer all our questions. I would definitely do this again.
L k: Friendly nice place
K Saulnier: I looove this company, been a member for years. This location features the same friendly and personable experience as you'd expect from every PB location. You can paddle the Mystic all the way to the beautiful lake upriver, or go past Assembly and up the Malden River, or if you have an air horn and a spray skirt you can go through the locks into the Inner Harbor. You can park at Assembly and take a nice walk along the river to the boathouse, or park nearby. Thanks!
Angélica Carneiro: Great place
Shaikeh Kab: Amazing experience have a day off and paddle
Ken Levine (KSL'72LLC): Fun place to grab a canoe or kayak on the Mystic river. Reasonable rates and definitely focused on guest safety.
Tim Allen: Great facility and people. Beautiful stretch of river.
John Ogren: Cool place to watch Crew
Lyle Gordon: Nice fiberglass canoe with friendly staff. Enjoyed a leisurely canoe along the river.
Melaku T: No more hourly charge because of Covid. We paid $49 for each boat (regardless of type) we got there at 5:00pm and they told us that we can stay on the water until they close.Tips: During summer, go after 6 to avoid sun burn from reflection.
Ada F.: Beautiful nature
Didi Dotan: Winds can be hard there, but easy to launch
Steven Chin: Wonderful for a family kayaking trip. Crew was wonderful, helpful, friendly and courteous. Water was cool, light breeze and sun was out. Glad we all put on sunscreen. Great Father's Day fun. Highly recommend!
Louise Boyd: Beautiful scenery. Lots of geese, swans and turtles. I walk around this area so it was great to see it from this point of view
Andres Townes: There's a gym and decent Pokemon park and you can get to 2 more gyms
Jonatta Santos: Bom
Alex Frolov: The river looks like ecological disaster. This is probably because of the dam that restricting the flow. The shoreline looks like a dump.
Thien N: Very convenient. Great staff.
C K: The area itself is beautiful and a natural spot for kayaking. The guides who set you up seemed like college kids who were not overly concerned for your safety or maybe were not trained to go over what to look out for when on the water. Like the fact that local boaters will be driving full speed through the kayaking launch area to get the near by marina. Many local boaters were obnoxiously driving fast and close to kayakers. A heads up would’ve been nice! They also do not keep track of which kayak you take out, or if you returned on time. As we returned the kayak we gave our name to the same girl that set us up. We said good night thank you and left around 6:30pm. I received a phone call at 9pm from the same girl who said she was looking for us and wasn’t sure if we came back? Very strange but hope they read this and can close any safety gaps in how they train as well as take down peoples info.
Daniel C. Nee: The best wildlife viewing site this eagle scout has ever seen
Dan: There is a certain stillness that prevails in this area of urbanization.

Charles River Canoe & Kayak : Nahanton Park, Newton: what do users think?
Daniel Lupu: Great services normal prices and ample of parking
Cecile Braun-Jones: Book in advance of you can bit easy to get set up on site too.Small parking lot right there butbtjer are two other lots close by for overflow.Clean bathrooms
Jake Russell: Excellent place to go kayaking. They offer multiple types of kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, and even paddle boats. The Boston Paddle season pass is a great deal for anyone who loves to be out on the water all summer long.
Union ZERO: Outrageous prices😑
Katrin Ony: The nature was beautiful and soothing.
Robert Barrett: Loved being here it makes you feel like you're in the middle of wilderness but you're only 10 miles from downtown Boston!
Brian Watson: This is easily my favorite location to kayak. Quiet and calm, and lots of nature. Highly recommend checking it out. The dirt overflow lot can be a little hard to find your first go, so maybe look it up first.
Aarti Jajoo: Very helpful and professional people. Learn something new about kayaking every time I go there. Beautiful place to kayak, and a great place to see wild life.
Jamison Bourque: Great service, nice people.
wei zhang: Very nice place for entertainment on water
Maria Brooks: I love this place for kayaking. Very pleasant staff, check-in and checkout is easy. I kayaked in both directions and I found going towards Newton smoother than West Roxbury. However, I saw more wildlife going towards West Roxbury. Regardless, I enjoy kayaking along this part of the Charles and I highly recommended this location.
Andres Quintero: The staff was not to nice like they dident want to be there
Lux Llama Productions: Great place to go kayaking! Helpful staff and great store
L: I like this place :) Friendly staff and a beautiful stretch of the river (State Conservation Land).
Mabel Zhang: Shallow waters in many spots, relaxing day out, wildlife to observe, picnic tables to sit before and after to wind down. More popular location than a few others of Paddle Boston. During COVID, weekend reservations were starting to fill up three days before, whereas other locations are empty until the day before.
Michael Lank: Sprayed everything down with sanitize
Ethan M: Easy sign up. Friendly staff gets you off and paddling down the river quickly. Online reservations are a snap.
Nir Melamoud: ok
Didi Dotan: The service is awesome, but the river at this point is quite dirty, with water being shallow. I paddle board a lot there, but you need to look where you are going not to run aground.
ahmad ramzi: Enjoyable time with kids
Matt Reid: Not the best part of the river to go canoeing or kayaking.pretty shallow not particularly interesting. But a great option if the in the city places are unusable due to sewage overflow.
