DringBR: I'm not Cape Verdean but I love the music and have been to Cesaria's in Boston so we were passing through Brockton. The food (bacalau Gomes de Sa) was very good but we waited about 45 minutes to get it after the bread and wine were served. The waitress forgot the canja (soup) and we only got that after the meal. The biggest problem was the bill with the "18% in-house consumption fee." In Europe this would count as a tip with a few $ possible for good service at discretion of customer. The explanation I got from the cashier-lady was not clear and seemed to suggest that an extra tip was needed for the waitress. I feel you should clarify because 2 tips is not good business. I left her $7 extra but would have left her more if it had been explained.

Erica Gomes: Authentic food with warm, homely vibes. The Mozambique and natas sauces are to die for. Great entertainment on weekends with live music events as well as night time Sunday events. If you follow the Luanda instagram page, they post flyers about upcoming events. Sports games are usually on if requested. Desserts are delicious!
