Dan Sulman: I chose Dr. Detail because it got high reviews online and I needed a really good interior cleaning after my girlfriend vomited in the car after she got food poisoning. They were more expensive than some other places but I absolutely needed this cleaned up, and I needed the smell out of my car. When I picked the car up, it was absolutely beautifully cleaned and the smell was gone, and I was very happy. However a couple hours later when I was driving I noticed the smell again. I called them up and told them about this, and they told me to come in and they would shampoo the carpets again for free, and clean the seats again for free. Needless to say I was very impressed. I cannot recommend this place more highly when you want a top shelf cleaning for your car.Service:Auto detailing

It was in need of some real TLC - lots of scuffs on the outside, interior was pretty dirty, etc. but I had them do the Deluxe Detail interior/ exterior treatment, and now it literally looks brand new. Joneen Webster: I usually try not to let my car get too dirty but after being parked most of December and the recent snow storm it was BAD. I stopped by Dr Detail around 11am on 1/15/22 and seemed like I was the first one there. Manuel met me at my car and I ask for the A service and he let me know it would be about an hour and a half. After killing time in the mall I headed back a little after an hour. I could see that my car was finished and WOW it was perfectly spotless. I’ve taken my car to other places to be washed a lot less dirty and haven’t seen it cleaned so well. I could tell that Manuel took care and did an AMAZING job.I cannot recommend Manuel enough. Luckily I was able to simply hop on their website and buy a gift certificate. Problem solved by me the customer rather than by the “manager “who didn’t seem to understand that they do indeed take PayPal.

David Grigorian: This is the best place to get a proper hand wash of your car. They also do a great job of cleaning the interior. Prices are good for the service that they provide. You need to call in advance, as they are always busy. One suggestion for the business, cover the price of parking for your guests.
Andy Tu: The service was good, but not great. I opted for the complete exterior detailing package. Totaling close to $200. My car never had a clay bar treatment since coming in from the dealer, so I figured it was worth getting it done at least once in a long while.Had to make appointment, then dropped off the car near noon. Firstly, they never called me when the car was done. I came back 4.5 hours later because I figured they had to have finished by then. The car was generally cleaned well, though there was overspray on my back windshield that wasn't washed off. Also running my fingers across the surface, I could still feel grit and contaminants that the clay bar was supposed to remove. Not sure if it's just not done with enough care, or maybe just not done at all.It was overall a good car wash, but with the amount of money I paid I kinda expected better. For the same price you'd pay a typical car wash to wash the outside of your vehicle, this place will wash and towel dry the outside BUT ALSO vacuum and wipe down the INSIDE as well. As if the value weren't enough, they do an outstanding job of cleaning the interior for the price. It's not a detailing service but it's damn close for the price of a standard car wash. The only drawback is that it is an extremely popular car wash in the neighborhood so on a sunny day, expect to have to wait in a sizeable line.

(the other reviewer who said the mats where not clean may not have realized they are an add on) I come here 3-4 times a year for the last 10 years or so. Always great results. Occasionally, they miss something small but for $45 it’s almost as good as a detail.One word to the wise, if you clean up your car a bit before you go you’ll get better results. My husband also goes here but his interior gets pretty filthy because he works construction and I have noticed that they don’t get his interior up to the same standard as mine. So, if you take a few min to take all the actual trash, junk and coffee cups out then they will do a better job. Julia Wedgle: Prestige car wash is literally stealing from me. I had a membership and today I got my new Cambridge parking permit. They switched the direction of the permit so now it would not fit under my prestige sticker. I called to find out how to get a new one. They told me I need to cancel my plan and start a new one to get a new sticker. After I cancelled my plan I was told that I will still be charged for April because it is after the 25th. That is absolutely unacceptable. I emailed prestige and dmed them on Instagram. I hope I’ll hear back but I feel doubtful because their phone customer service was awful. I will update my review if they do respond. I will obviously not be starting a new membership now. Honestly the car wash isn’t even that good so I can’t wait to be finished with them. I hope to hear back from them before they steal from me on Monday, when they charge for April.

mv: BEWARE OF OVERCHARGES at Self wash bay! You swipe your credit card, $6 initial charge for 6 minutes. Ok. I checked instructions, it says to push a Stop button to stop charges. So I did, at 5 min 31 seconds (water stopped immediately) - but my credit card was charged for more time.UPDATE 1: I called the office, and I was told there are TWO Stop buttons to push to avoid additional charges. Wot??The office said they cannot return the money, but they offered me a free car was it ("platinum"! - whatever that means). Nothing so far in the mail after a week. When/if I go back I will check the instructions again. ONE STAR rating stays for now.UPDATE 2: After taking my mailing address and promising a free car wash - nothing.

Benjamin Saks: I have a membership here and like how late they stay open. I think it’s a good idea in the winter to keep salt off my vehicle and take it through once a week. They regularly check the vacuums to make sure they work. As with all machine washes, don’t take your car through if you are afraid of swirl marks micro scratches in the clear coat.
Madeline K. McIntosh: Do not sign up for unlimited car washes. I followed all of Prestige's instructions when I was ready to cancel--I called the phone number that they indicated on their old website and brochure and left a message instructing Prestige to terminate my account. I also called back several times to confirm, but no one picked up. Prestige ignored my instructions and continued charging me for 15 more months, overcharging me by more than $300. During that time I had already sold my car and moved out of state, so I never used their services. I've contacted Prestige about a refund, but no one will help. Awful business.

Laura Larkins: The one change machine was broken so I went around to the side to see if there were other machines or staff who could assist. I went inside unlocked building and found no one at all on the premises! I had to put all my stuff back in my car and go to another car wash. Extremely professional and disappointing.

S G: DO NOT USE TOUCH LESS WASH!! Absolute waste! $15 touch less wash left white water spots all over the car. I called and the representative on the phone was rude and unapologetic but offered to wash the car in other wash (using the brushes), it was inconvenient to drive back but the other wash worked much better.
Mary: The automatic car wash, even at the premium wash option, does not actually wash your car. It sprays soap and rinses it off. If you have caked on mud maybe it would peel some off. I had pretty minimal dirt / bugs and hardly anything was washed off. I had a better result of using a wet rag at home and running my hand over my car. Waste of money.

I’m now looking at the hood of my car as it’s drying and it’s covered in the same dust that was the reason it needed a wash.This car was washed and waxed before going into storage so the wash had easy job and all it accomplished was stealing $15 from me and covering my car in water spots.Now I need to wash it again because it really looks bad.For an owner that loves to publicly bash other businesses it would be great if you would invest in your own.

Terry Marryshow: Wasn't able to find this anywhere online, but regarding their air pump:It's $1 for 4 minutes of air time (which should be plenty of time). Unfortunately their machine does not take credit card, so you will require either coin or cash bills. At the time of my visit, the coin slot was jammed, so you had to use the cash slot.The machine does not provide change, so you will require exact amounts.I did not have a great experience using the machine otherwise. It did alright with some of the wheels, but the other two it gave an "error" message and actually seemed to deflate the wheel. I ended up driving to the other shell on Cambridge street with a more modern air pump, with which I had no issue.Filling gas was straight forward. I did not try the car wash.
Karen F: Yesterday I paid for an automated carwash. The machine said it was paid but it didn’t start. I tried calling the phone number for help. It was not in service. I got out and asked the gas station attendant (owner/manager) to help and he said I did it wrong. And that he’d be out to help. He eventually came out and again told me how I did it wrong and that he’d turn it on...if I smiled at him.I stated that I was under no obligation to smile at him, but as he had my money, he was obligated to put me through or refund me. To which he said “just smile”. I refused. He said to just drive through and get out. No car wash. And he walked away. No refund. No service. No idea if I could reverse or go forward without damaging my tires.I called the local police for assistance. I was quite shaken at this point and unsure if my car was somehow locked in. They were very helpful. Apparently they know him well as he is notorious for bad service and bad behavior. He would not budge even for them. So I’m left to contest the charge with the credit card company and file a harassment complaint. They helped me reverse out safely.
Tammy Nghiem: Splurge only $6 dollars more for a worthy car wash! A guy recommended it and my car shined for weeks. It got rid of all the salt and dirt from the snow storm. You can save some money on Wednesday’s for the car wash if you get gas.

Oleksandr Litus: Edit:Please place an info sign that explains for the first time users, that you might need to manually dry up left over water with a towel. Danny helped me with my issue and explained in detail the cons and pros of no touch, it might not be the best option for every vehicle. I recommend if you have a problem to reach out directly to them. Apparently, there is somebody at the car wash during the day and you can address any issues directly (also would be great to have a sign for this).Original:Worst no touch car wash I’ve been too. For $24 dollars car is full of dirt (see photos). Would love to get a refund.

Anna: Pedestrian nightmare. Trying to walk to the nearby train station and had to get sprayed by mist and soap when passing by to avoid walking in a busy street because tons of cars were blocking the sidewalk. Simply not enough space for a car wash.

Mo T: I used a self service bay. $5 for 6 minutes. Cheap and clean. But I think the soap could have a better quality. After washing the car twice, I saw many many marks and stains. Very good pressure though. Self bays do not have blow dryers there. The vaccum cleaners cost $2 for 5 minutes. They accept cash and credit cards. For cash, you get tokens which you can use in their carwash (presumably only there).Update: blow dryers are installed in self bays.
